Terrible Sound Quality
I love this podcast. But the sound quality since going virtual is really hard to listen to. Every other podcast has been able to figure it out, please do the same. I can bring myself to finish an episode. So much echo

Why are all these lady podcasts just ladies telling other ladies how to start a podcast? …and why does apple keep recommending them to me?

Such a wealth of knowledge! 🧠
This podcast is so insightful and I’ve enjoyed every episode I’ve listened to so far! Jaclyn is a very skilled interviewer - she does such a great job of sharing her wisdom and I love how she leads meaningful conversations with other amazing women who bring so much experience and actionable insight to the table, having already experienced success themselves. Highly recommend checking this show out - you won’t be disappointed!

Good Interviewees, Bad Interviewer
I love C&C - attended the first-ever conference, part of the FB group etc. but I cringe listening to these interviews. The interviewee will provide a robust response to each question & Jacqueline’s reply is always “Amazing,” and then she goes on to the next question, or “Awesome,” then on to the next question. It comes off like she’s not even paying attention or engaged in these interviews. Hope it improves because the women interviewed on this show are so inspiring & deserve someone to really care enough to dig deep into their journey. If anyone loves this type of content but is also cringing at the interview style, I highly recommend the podcast Second Life.

Love the Branding but not the Content
I love what this Podcast represents because I’m a Big Fan of Create and Cultivate but the host/ interviewer leaves so much more to be desired on most of these podcasts; The Gulian Rancic interviewer was scathing...so robotic.

Get pumped on girl power!
I was sceptical about this podcast at first, I thought it was going to be a podcast catered to the sorority type girl who is all social no grit. However, I’ve been so impressed with the content that the team at create and cultivate has produced. After each episode I feel empowered to see my own potential and go after the things that I really want in life and in my career. I think work party has a very strong vision and they are executing on that vision in every episode. Keep it up!

I think I like it?
I’m a big fan of Create & Cultivate and they have great guests. The woman who reads the intros could use a bit of work. She mispronounced Ouai in the latest episode which is the brand founded by their guest, Jen Atkin. Seems unprofessional.

This podcast will bring so much life and business inspiration!!!!
This podcast is a MUST-LISTEN!!! Work Party inspires me to make so much more of my life. The free valuable knowledge Jaclyn Johnson and her guests share is worth having a notebook out and ready. One of my favorite episodes is a recent one - Collaboration over Competition with Sophia Bush. Every single woman must listen to this episode. Jaclyn and Sophia reflect on how women everywhere must come together to truly make a difference in the world. Rather than competing with one another (which we can fall so easily into this trap in the digital world), these two women remind us the power of supporting one another in all that we do. One of my favorite quotes from Sophia Bush (one of my role models!) is: "If we all do something, then everything changes." This reminds us that helping each other and standing up for what we believe in, in just small ways can make the biggest impact if we ALL do something. Thank you to the lovely ladies who create/host this podcast and all of the amazing, crazy successful guests who share their stories with us! - Caroline Alfini @ Matterful Marketing

Best podcast ever!!!
The “Take Your Creativity Seriously” podcast was so essential for me! It really helped me to see how you can really take what you are knowledgeable and expert at and turn it into a business that people actually want. Also they learned how to evolve and know it’s ok to. I really appreciate how they talked about knowing your worth and it’s OK to ask for. He shouldn’t shortchange yourself!

The WISDOM!
Jaclyn, Tyeal and the entire Create & Cultivate tribe gave me life during S1 of WorkParty! Such valuable, tangible and courageous WISDOM that all these ladies shared shook my core and lit a fire in me to just pursue and push! I also attended an event in Austin and met the QueenB herself, and Jaclyn was of course even more engaging in person! The vibe of this tribe is legit and I will be eagerly waiting for S2 of WorkParty {the podcast}, but also the next C&C Summit event! Yes. Please. Ladies! SUBSCRIBE 💕 SUBSCRIBE 💕 SUBSCRIBE

I look forward to listening to it on my commute to work, and love the current episode “From Brand to Blog”. Good content Bad hosting
I read Jaclyn’s book and absolutely LOVED it. I was excited to start listening to this but was not happy when I started. It sounds like Jaclyn is reading a script and it doesn’t come off authentic. I wanted to hear her speak passionately, off the cuff, etc. and really learn. The entire podcast lacks authenticity and feels so pre-calculated to the point where it is robotic. One of the best parts of podcasts is getting to hear the rambles of a person you look up to, not a scripted story to keep up their image. I’m hoping it gets better but if not I will have to move on from this :/

Tried so hard to like it
I had high hopes for this podcast but it didn’t deliver unfortunately. Jaclyn has some great guests on, but the conversation just doesn’t flow, with Jaclyn inserting herself time and time again to hard transition to the next question. What you end up getting is a shallow q&a with sound bites rather than substance. Also, be prepared to hear “obviously” and “amazing” literally in every other sentence. As a millennial woman I probably overuse these words in my speech as well, but hearing it so many times in an episode honestly made it hard for me to give this podcast another shot.

If you're not familiar with Diem, it's a community-powered search engine designed for women. Diem is a Techstars NYC portfolio brand backed by leading investors like Flybridge, Acrew, & Sellation. By trade, Emma is a marketer and a community builder. Her entry into marketing was somewhat untraditional–in that she started out by growing her personal blog to 100K+ readers at age 19, and later transitioned into corporate marketing roles at some of the fastest-growing consumer brands in NYC and the UK. Prior to founding Diem, she worked as the Head of Global Marketing at the direct-to-consumer luggage brand, Away, where she found her passion for connecting with consumers through brand partnerships. When she's not sidestepping her way into another entrepreneurial endeavor, she works to create social change as a lifelong advocate for gender equality. Emma has also been featured in Forbes, HuffPost, Entrepreneur, and The Cut for her unique approach to marketing, community building, and partnerships. In this episode, we're talking about the importance of designing tech products from a human lens, the power of female communication, and how she's working to bring inclusive, reliable information to people of all different backgrounds. - Live From Wellness Means Business: A Keynote Conversation With Miranda KerrLive from our 2022 Wellness Means Business event, fellow Aussie, Miranda Kerr joins Create & Cultivate's CEO Kate Spies for a keynote conversation. Miranda needs no introduction, but we'll give her one anyway. Miranda is a supermodel, certified health coach, Founder & CEO of KORA Organics, and wellness pioneer. Very early on, Miranda learned about the importance of what you put on your skin and how it can impact your overall health after her mother fell ill. From its foundation, KORA has become a hit, selling key facial essentials that help you take care of your complexion without needing a shelfie worth of bottles on your countertop, and the brand just recently took its first foray into body care as well. While there’s much to admire about Miranda, one thing that we hear from her team and those who work closely with her is what an involved and passionate founder she is. Miranda is up-to-date on the latest trends, ingredients, and sustainability measures. She actively works on everything from formulations to marketing, so I’m sure that we’ll have much to learn from her today! Thank you for being here, Miranda. - Turning Challenges Into Triumphs With DONNI Founder & Designer, Alyssa WaskoCreativity often thrives in moments of discomfort, and sometimes our brightest ideas come to us during the darkest times. Just ask Alyssa Wasko, founder, and designer of Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand, DONNI. Following the passing of her father Donald, and in search of a creative outlet to cope with grief, Alyssa started DONNI in 2009. As a brand rooted in comfort and known initially for its signature oversized scarves, DONNI has since grown to include an expansive, yet curated collection of ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Early in her career, however, Alyssa spent six years as a Visual/Image Consultant at Chanel, refining her ability to spot and develop trends in the market, and ultimately enabling her to create demand for her highly sought-after designs. Now, at the helm of DONNI, she continues to cultivate a loyal community that frequently sells out collection drops within hours of a release (AMAZING), and further cement the brand as a notable name in fashion. She is passionate about giving back and supporting her LA community, and since the brand’s inception, has donated proceeds from each product drop to various organizations, raising thousands of dollars for charitable initiatives. She also sits on the board of directors for the HIT Living Foundation and was honored to be named Forbes 30 under 30 in the Art & Style category in 2019. Despite going through a difficult loss in her early years, she found a silver lining and successfully built a thriving business. I’m thrilled to chat with Alyssa all about how she overcame real-life struggles, turned a simple but beautiful concept into a lounge and leisure sensation, and built a dedicated team in the process. - The Obstacle Is The Way With Carly Stein KremerAfter years of living with an autoimmune condition that didn’t allow her to take most antibiotics and over-the-counter medicines, Carly found herself frustrated by the chronic colds and symptoms she seemed to be unable to treat. But in 2012 everything changed. While she was studying abroad in Italy, she discovered propolis, an all natural ingredient made by bees with hundreds of immune-boosting elements. She quickly recognized the power of this natural ingredient and set out to develop her own formula with the help and guidance of leading bee research institutions. In 2017 Carly traded in her corporate career at Goldman Sachs to dedicate her life to full-time beekeeping and founded Beekeeper’s Naturals in an effort to bring propolis to the masses in sustainable and accessible ways. She has since been committed to working exclusively with sustainable, small-scale apiaries, and prioritizing pesticide-free health and wellness products Above all else, Carly works tirelessly to raise awareness and create a better environment for our World’s most important pollinators–the bees. She has been featured in Allure and Vogue magazines along with numerous podcast appearances to share the importance of bees in our daily lives. Recognized as a game-changing entrepreneur in the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 list, she continues to strive to innovate everyday health issues and transform proactive wellness. On this episode of WorkParty, I talk with Carly about the power of holistic medicine, what inspired her to disrupt the CPG space, why she believes in radical transparency and leading with vulnerability, and how she is revolutionizing the wellness industry one natural remedy at a time Sponsors: • Zocdoc | Go to Zocdoc.com/PARTY and download the Zocdoc app for FREE. - How to Parallel Path Your Personal Brand & Business With Cass DimiccoToday’s guest is multi-hyphenate Cass Dimicco–a successful entrepreneur, content creator, and creative director. Lauded by the media as “a true tastemaker, one of the fashion world’s ultimate ‘it girls and style icons,” Cass is not only a taste-maker and trend-setter for her highly engaged audience, but she’s also the founder, designer, and creative director for her own successful jewelry line, Aureum Collective. Before founding Aureum, Cass had leveraged her eye for style and ability to forecast fashion trends into full-time digital content creation in 2017, leaving her previous role as a corporate buyer and product designer in fashion. She went on to forge partnerships with Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Prada, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tom Ford, Stuart Weitzman, and has attended events with Fendi, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, and more. Aureum Collective was later founded in September 2019 when Cass and her husband recognized a gap in the market for a jewelry brand that fulfilled a luxury aesthetic without the luxury price point. The brand now specializes in elevated accessories with the intention that they can be worn by any person, at any age, and any body type at any time. Beloved by top celebrity clientele, Aureum has proven to be a rapid success in such a short period of time and has shown no signs of stopping. In this episode of WorkParty, I have the pleasure of sitting down with Cass to learn more about her journey from influencer to entrepreneur, her best advice for launching and scaling a social-first brand, her approach to community building, and how she maintains balance while working towards her goals.
