- SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER! I know, I have been there too! We need to talk about it.September is National Suicide Prevention Month. If you or a family member needs help this podcast may be a great resource. I felt thoughts of suicide on and off for many years but I am here and I am talking about it. Suicided needs to be discussed and not judged! Genetic Neurotransmitters may not be giving you what you need to overcome depression, anxiety and more... If you are thinking of ending your own life there is help, there are answers and you will get through these terrible feelings of hopelessness. The suicide help line is 800-273-TALK (8255) I am sharing my story about my previous thoughts of suicide, suicide statistics and overcoming the stigma that prevents us from talking about suicide. I will share information that may be helpful in understanding why someone cannot overcome depression, anxiety and those hopeless thoughts that no-one deserves to feel. Suicide is the 10th largest cause of death in the United States, and the 2nd largest cause of death among those aged 10-34. Further - Nearly 46% of individuals who commit suicide had previously been diagnosed with a mental health condition. Genetic factors that play a role in the imbalance of inhibitory and excitatory neurotransmitters can lead to issues with mood, focus, sleep, and anxiety. Maintaining a balance in neurotransmitters is essential for emotional regulation, focus, restful sleep, the growth and survival of neurons, and proper autophagy and detoxification.0 comments0
- Evidence based nutrition through Nutrigenomic TestingI was very sick with chronic pain, fatigue and other health symptoms for over 13 years and it wasn't until I found out about Nutrigenomics that I was able to start a nutritional path to healing based on my genes and genetic weaknesses. Understanding your genetic make up can be a very powerful way to stay on top of your health, especially if you are looking to do it naturally. In this episode I discuss what genes are tested, why these particular genes are important and how understanding your genetic weaknesses may slow the progression of age and age related health issues. The science behind Nutrigenomics is growing. We can now understand without guessing what your body needs nutritionally to not only survive but thrive. My health changed dramatically after I had Nutrigenomic testing and now I want to share what awesome information I have learned. Please share my podcast with your friends and family so my message will continue to grow.0 comments0

I share my friend Amber's story about her mom who suffers from chronic pain and fatigue and how our conversation opened Amber's eyes to seeing her mom's illness differently. Does a friend or family member suffer from chronic illness, pain, fatigue? Is it hard to understand why they will not keep trying to find answers to why they do not feel well? Have they given up? They have been through the circle of seeing doctors and other health providers with no answers. They tried all the fancy drugs but yet still feel terrible.
