Really Good, Except…
I really enjoyed and appreciated your podcast 8/4/22. Except for the “Live like today is your last” part. 1. That phrase always increases my anxiety, because maybe it is my last day. 2. Although I get the meaning of the phrase, It is ridiculous because if it were my last day, I surely wouldn’t be rolling out if bed at 6:30 to go to work. I’d lay in the sun like my neighbor’s cats on the patio. Other than that, I think this podcast is an excellent way to start the day.

Great Way to Start the Day
When someone says they’re going to do a meditation podcast, I’m never sure what it’s going to turn out like. But Tyler has actually made the perfect mix of calm and soothing enough to meditate, but motivating and energizing enough to get up in the morning to, while keeping the range of topics wide enough to not get bored, but slim enough to stay on track. Not an easy thing to do, but he does it effortlessly! Amazing way to start the day!

Great idea, helpful start to the day
This podcast is a great idea, and it is helpful in facilitating starting one’s day with a positive attitude. I do wish there was some kind of category listing of the type of episode. Like if it’s a meditation episode or an exercise episode or both etc. that would be really helpful!

Fantastic work. Keep it up.
I just began listening to this show. After getting interested in a more recent show, I decided to start from the beginning. When I got to Becoming Beyonce part 1 and 2, I stopped there and actually listened to them both for several days each before moving on. I’m slowing working through the morning routines now. I really have never before found a podcast that has become so functional to my day. It’s really helped me get into the right tone of head-voice each day. Fantastic work. Thank you so much. Keep going. I’m excited to eventually catch up to current. 🙏🏻🦾🧘🏻♀️

It has been one month since i was listening to this podcast

My first time listening to one of Tyler’s podcasts was uplifting and even if it’s still hard to let go of the past, his quick mediation about not letting the past define my present was refreshing ( : I think it’s a good podcast to pause if you need a bit more time to sit in the picture he gives so you can give yourself enough time to visualize who you were and who you want to be!

Makes a difference
Listening to WMU for over a month now has made a difference! The uplifting messages are both personal and universal. Tyler’s delivery feels sincere and strikes the right balance of support and motivation for first thing in the morning. One of my staples
I listen to this podcast several times a week and it’s become one of my regular routines that I’ve established. I find the combination of guidance, stretching and mediation are a good balance and not too long. Often, it helps me clear my head if I woke up badly, or have a negative outset when starting a week or day. I regularly go back to episodes and relisten to them as well. Highly recommended!

I stumbled across this podcast while looking for a morning meditation routine. I’ve only used it for a week now but I find that each session leaves me more positive about my day, higher energy, and a better perspective on challenges that come my way each day. Perfect addition to my morning
About a year ago during the pandemic when we were under quarantine I added a mandatory half hour of quiet time, usually with my coffee, to my mornings.It’s a tradition I’ve kept even after returning to work because my soul needed it. I’ve looked for morning meditations before but didn’t find anything with the right energy or focus. I looked again today and found Tyler. This episode was exactly what I needed and as I scrolled through his other titles I see he’s aligned with topics of interest to me. I look forward to starting more mornings this way!

Thoughts from a Skeptic
I started using wake me up every morning about 7 weeks ago. I was looking for a way to ease into my day since my (very tolerable, 20 minute) morning commute was eliminated by working from home. It took me quite some time to realize how important that time was in centering myself and getting mentally ready to face my work day. Without the commute, I was just slamming straight into work from bed...not good. I am new to meditation and was skeptical about its value beyond anything but surface utility. What I discovered with wake me up was a consistent, digestable routine. EXACTLY what was promised. I think the host, Tyler, has really created something for everyone. I went all they way back to the beginning of the podcast, downloaded 40 episodes and committed to listening every day. If at the end of that period of time I didn't find value, I told myself I would try something else. Not only have I not moved on from wake me up, I am going back through all of podcasts I started with because I wanted to really internalize the messages. I came back today to try some new ones. I have never written an online review about anything, nor have I ever posted to facebook, commented on a web forum or tweeted anything. I felt strongly enough about this podcast to come here and post this. I hope that others benefit from this simple yet powerful tool. Thank you, Tyler.

Recovering from depression
I used to be a morning person - like go run three miles at 4:30am morning person. I got myself together for my day before my son would wake at 6. I loved it. Then I hit a major bout of depression that lasted for a couple of years and comes and goes intermittently. And it changed my brain big time (neuroplasticity, anyone?). Lately I have been so frustrated with my mornings, which - just like Tyler says in the intro - are sometimes great, sometimes lazy, and then my days are like my mornings - sometimes productive, sometimes wholly distracted. Look, I’ve only listened to the first episode but I can already tell this is going to be a game changer. I don’t want Tony Robbins snake oil telling me from the beginning to “go get it” and “believe I’m worth it.” I need something a little gentler and a little more real in terms of recognizing that this can be a real struggle. Also, when Tyler said “Keep it simple, stupid,” I knew I was in the right place (how very AA and Al Anon-ish of you, Mr Tyler). I’ve listened to the last part of the first podcast three times already and will replay it a few more. I’m convinced that this is exactly what I need to retrain my brain so I can live my life to the fullest of my ability. I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon this podcast. Thank you so much.

Shifting my life
I’ve listened to this podcast every morning for the last two months. The focus on positivity is incredible. I feel so happy at the end of each podcast. I often keep meditation music on afterwards which continues the feeling of happiness, love, and gratitude for everything in front of me. Later during the day if I feel negative, crabby, impatient, a bigger part of me says”hey, you don’t have to feel this way” and I can shift my mood. I recall the feeling of happiness from the morning. Even the days when I just feel a little off, I remember to just show up to the day and that it’s not required to perfect everyday. I recommend this podcast to friends so they can too feel positive. Thank you so much for this podcast. I struggle to wake up every morning. This podcast keeps me grounded and Tyler brings my affirmations to life. I can’t tell you how much this has helped me cope with my mental state and spiritual awakening. 2020 was a tough year career, relationship and just life in general. Great Content-Very Accessible
Perfect way to start the day. Just a few minutes each morning really shifts my energy and I’ve started coming back to some of the meditation work mid-day to reset. Topics/content for what you need that day. Time is good and you can take it as deep or as light as you need. Really great resource for morning routine. Wish there was a different way to recognize sponsors. Better at the beginning than the end but still a little odd to have the first thing you hear in the morning be a sponsor boost.

Literally - Life Changing
Over 3 months, I have developed my morning routine, which begins with Siri giving me my morning briefing. This podcast begins to play as the last task of the briefing. The podcast helps me transfer to my awake state, as opposed to my let’s stay in bed for another hour state. it also helps me focus on the things I need to focus on that day. My days as tremendously more productive.

Best way to start my day
I am not naturally a morning person, but I really want to be! Before this podcast, my problem was that I saw 2 options when my alarm went off: I could get up and immediately get busy or I could push snooze and stay in bed. I didn’t want to get up and get going right away so I would push snooze (repeatedly-sometimes for more than an hour). This podcast gives me a third option. I can wake up but ease into my day. I love it SO much! By the time the podcast is over I’m awake and ready to get going and my whole day ends up better (I’m winning my mornings, so I’m winning my day). Also, I really love the new premium option, so I don’t have to listen to ads. Worth every penny! Thanks Tyler!

Just What I Need
2020 was an extremely challenging year for me as I had to reconstruct many of the routines I enjoyed - specifically exercise. I also struggled with my career path and had several major disappointments. By the end of the year I wasn’t in a great place mentally and it showed! At the start of 2021 I made changes with my morning and and evening routines which have made a HUGE difference. In the morning I listen to Wake Me Up and the mindful meditations really help me stay focused throughout my day. I love that the morning routines are simple to follow and not super lengthy. It’s just enough to get me rolling and out of bed! Thank you thank you thank you!

Decent meditation podcast
First of all let me tell you that I love your podcast, It’s pretty much my wake up alarm. I liked the short introduction to it since it gives me a few minutes to wake up before the good stuff starts. The meditations and motivations that you share are amazing, and I’m really thankful for your talent. Last week when my alarm went off and your podcast started I found myself listening to advertising instead. I don’t think that listening to advertising is the best way to start my day. It would be really great, and I will really appreciate it if you would leave the sponsors for the end of the episodes? I promise I’ll listen to them.

Grateful that I finally found what I’ve been looking for!
I’ve been looking for a morning meditation podcast. I wanted to find one that is primarily focused on mindfulness and gratitude, but with enough variety to keep things interesting, with a calm voice I can listen to daily, and with episodes that are not too long, not too short. Yes, you can call me Goldilocks. It was a tall order but I finally found it! The guided morning routines are a great way for me to start my day, with most of these episodes in the 15-20 minute range, a perfect length. That is usually about as long as I tend to lay there wondering whether to get up or go back to sleep. Rather than starting my day with procrastination and indecision, I set this to turn on instead of my alarm. Now I start my day with some breathing and gently stretching, with thoughts of gratitude or motivation or positivity or all of those, and ready to take on whatever new challenges are ahead of me. I really appreciate the meditation minis, too. These are even shorter episodes (most are 10 minutes or less) that are perfect when you need a little boost in the middle of the day. There are enough of these available that I can almost always find one that fits what I need at that moment. Thank you Tyler. Keep up the good work. You are making a difference for me and many others out there. I am grateful for you and your podcast.

A Must!
The days that I have woken up to this podcast have been great! I am in the process of reworking my morning routine and have found days that I don’t listen to this podcast aren’t as energized, focused, or just plain feel as good. I have even re listened to some and they are still just as good. I can’t wait for more content. This is a must if you are looking to make a easy change to you morning with a huge impact.

Too Much Advertising
Hey there, I want to say that I’ve been following your show on Spotify since you first released it. It was amazing back then and it really got me into a great morning routine as I just started my first career. Fast forward to now, every single day we’re consumed by advertisements and commercials we don’t want to see. It really stinks that the very first thing I hear when I wake up is a message about downloading Anchor, or leaving a review on your podcast after every single episode. I appreciate your work and I love your messages but the advertising on every episode is overloading for myself personally.

I have a hectic career, depression, anxiety, and trouble waking up every day. I found my life to be so hectic and so negative. Until I found Tyler and the Wake Me Up Podcast. He breathes life into my morning and helps me start the day fresh. I feel energized, less stressed, and happier! Best Meditation podcast
I’ve dabbled in several meditation podcasts over the past year, and when I stumbled on this one I basically dropped all the others. It’s so easy to breathe & follow along and helps you get in that present space. My favorite part is the last few minutes of motivation - such a positive way to intentionally start the day! Only thing that would make this better is if it were offered daily ;) I’ll graciously take what I can get, though. I love it and have shared it with multiple people. THANK YOU SO MUCH🙏🏻

Helped me establish a morning routine
I love how this podcast generally starts while you are still in bed and eases you awake. This was especially helpful as I began to establish the habit of meditating every morning. Now, I have a much easier time waking up and don’t need *quite* as much guidance to get out of bed in the first place, but I’ve still been listening to the motivation and meditation minis because they are a great way to start the day! I think the getting out of bed ones will be super helpful in the winter when it’s cold and dark out. I’m still very new to meditation/mindfulness and Tyler provides just the right amount of guidance to help you get in touch with your mind and breath.

So needed especially now!
During this pandemic I have been suffering from an increased amount of anxiety. This is not typical for me so it has been really hard to manage. Awesome Wake Up Call- Needs A Little Work
I have always HATED alarms. That sound jolts my body and my heart beats rapidly (even if it’s just a song) and waking up on alert does not feel... inviting? “Wake Me Up” has made a massive difference in my day to day because I use it as my alarm! The NextUp App allows a new episode to play each morning as your alarm. Tyler’s voice is very soothing and encourages you to get out of bed. All that has been exponentially helpful in preventing me from hitting snooze or just not getting up altogether. Plus the gentle (and non-intimidating) meditation that follows, revitalizes me to start the day :) such a fantastic podcast! Edit ** I’ve started to notice you use a lot of gendered language and also do not account for differently-abled individuals in your episodes. It’s important when trying to reach such a wide audience, that you acknowledge the diversity of that audience. Not all of us identify on a gender-binary spectrum and not all of us have legs that help us walk or arms to reach things. There are thousands of ways to get your important messages across while accounting for the variety of human beings you’re addressing. ** thank you

A Game Changer
I haven’t been a morning person for years and it’s always been a struggle to get up and be motivated first thing. I used to say my real self only came alive in the afternoon hours and beyond! Helped Me Be a Morning Person
What a great way to start your day! I needed this! Before I either would sleep in and have a lazy late morning start or wake up and do things but somehow not be as productive as I could be. I decided to change that and make the most out of my mornings, but I kept pressing snooze on my alarm more times than not. I found a routine that works but this podcast has made all the difference. I wake up feeling good and with a positive outlook. But most importantly, I wake up looking forward to the positive words of wisdom on the podcast that I need to hear that day. The meditation is wonderful as well! I don’t always meditate the way I should. I’ll sometimes do the meditation while doing dishes. Inhaling deeply and exhaling. We all deserve to give ourselves that time to center ourselves, let go of stress and feel gratitude. It gives me more focus. Starting the day that way has changed my world. And all this awesome happens within 20 min! Thank you Tyler for these podcasts!

I have been practicing meditation regularly for a few months. While I have connect with most podcasts or guided meditations in the past, I noticed a block recently. Sometimes I judge the authenticity of the speakers voice, and find it distracting. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this podcast. I found it genuine, calming, and loved the simplicity. I’m so not a morning person. So the fact that I set my alarm 20 minutes earlier to listen to this podcast is really a big step for me. I look forward to waking up!
I’m new to meditation and am a person who has constantly been on the go. I used to immediately wake up, grab my phone, check missed texts and emails, and before I knew it- it was lunch. (Sigh) Where did my morning go!? Wake me up has changed that. I now look forward to waking up and having a moment of stillness to reflect, hear my breath, and go inward... not immediately overwhelm myself with what the day has to bring. I like that the podcast provides episodes at a variety of length between 10-20 minutes because some mornings are a little more pressed for time. The breathing techniques and visualizations this podcast challenges you to focus on have already truly helped my days become better. If I have a moment of anxiousness or frustration throughout the day I revert back to how I started my day & use the technique introduced in one of the early episodes... “is this going to matter in 5 minutes or 5 years from now?” And most of the time the answer is NO, and I am on my way with an “IGTBOK” outlook. The advice to “control what you can and relinquish judgement from everything else” has shifted my daily mood into a much more forgiving place with myself and others. Thanks Tyler, for sharing such a beautiful view of the world and ourselves with us that without the podcast, some may have never had the pleasure of seeing!!

Roll over, turn on and enjoy
I have really enjoyed this podcast to get my mornings started. Your voice has a great cadence, is soothing and sets a nice tone for the day. I love that I get to start it in bed because once I’m up and about I don’t usually have the motivation to start my meditation after that. I just roll over, turn it on and enjoy. Great way to start the day
I’m an entrepreneur and haven’t had much of a schedule and was finding it hard to create structure in my day a be productive. I was starting my day by reading emails and checking the news and being reactionary and stressed out off the bat. I decided to try starting my day with meditation as a way to ground myself, create structure, and start my day relaxed and calm and not filed with stress - and it’s really worked! I’m so much more calm and productive on the days I listen to this podcast first thing and am able to go about my day with intention and so much less stress! It’s also helped a lot with my anxiety and depression and just keeping my outlook more positive. Thank you for this podcast - it’s exactly what I needed!

Everyday I woke up with “wake me up” has been a great morning and a great day.
I’ve struggled on a day to da basis to get to work on time. Either due to the lack of sleep or due to the inability to wake up. That snooze button has been a problem for me, and It didn’t matter if I had two, four or six alarms, I would have ignored them or snoozed everyone. Today, I can honestly say I enjoy my mornings. The peace an quiet of me gathering myself before a busy day, in the medical field, has helped tremendously. Thank you.

Wake up, Shake up
So I never leave podcast reviews, but I definitely leave one for this podcast. I’ve been trying to shake up my morning routine (i.e. do something other than scroll through instagram) and this podcast has helped me figure out what to do. The morning routines are an awesome way to get into guided meditation if you don’t know what you’re doing. The mini meditations are awesome too because they’re slightly shorter and good when you’re in a rush. I used to hate meditation, but now I think I might keep it as a habit! Feeling so grateful for this podcast and the creator :)

Recovering snooze-aholic
PTSD has led me to become a snooze-aholic the past few months. I’ve always loved mornings in the past. I feel highly productive, energized, and happy with life when I get up early. This struggle to get up in the mornings has impacted just about every part of my life so my therapist recommended doing morning meditation and I found this podcast. I have not hit snooze once since starting this. The fact that this meditation, movement, and motivation starts in the comfort of my bed has been the missing piece I’ve been looking for! After 1 week of not hitting snooze I already feel so much clarity, I feel more in control of my PTSD and I feel happy and ready to reach for the stars. Thank you for providing the missing piece in my life! I can’t wait to hear more of these meditations that pull me out of the snooze trap!

one of my favorite podcasts!
One of the best self-care decisions I made was incorporating 'Wake Me Up' podcast into my morning routine. I love the narrator's voice and music selections. Great quality podcast with lots of great guided topics to choose from. Also, I listen to the Meditation Minis during my afternoon work breaks. This podcast fills me with confidence and strength, and allows me to put my best foot forward.

Best meditation I’ve found!!
I have tried multiple apps and YouTube and other sort of guided meditation for my mornings, and this is truly the best I’ve found! Every morning I check if there’s a new episode and get sad when there isn’t, I’d really hope there where more episodes released more often. It truly helps me wake up in a better mood and excited to start meditating. I love how it starts with stretching in bed and then it gives you time to drink some water and move to somewhere else to start meditating.

Cool podcast!!
I like this idea for a podcast, especially that it starts while I’m still in bed. I’ve always struggled hitting the snooze button, but since I’ve started using this when I wake up, it’s no problem getting out of bed! I was listening on Spotify before but I’m glad it’s on Apple podcasts now. The music is great, and it’s so positive! Can’t wait for more episodes!
