So helpful
Jen, I just listened to episode #259 about grief and loss. It really helped me as I'm grieving different things at the moment. The most recent is that my brother is back in the psychiatric hospital. We had wonderful phone conversations, almost daily, until a week ago. Thank you for always bringing valuable conversations. I so appreciate you. On a brighter side, I now want to travel to Canada also :) Much love Isabelle

Commuter Therapy
This podcast will lift you up and has transformed my life, one commute at a time. I listen to Jen and her incredible guests to either start my day or close it out- and every time I feel better after I listen. Thank you Jen for this gift. You are such a brilliant host, unlike many others, who require the spotlight and drown out their guests. You listen and come off so authentically. You don’t just spew out self-help cliches because you’re so candid about your journey and share lessons from some of your life’s most intimate moments. For anyone looking for a genuine podcast, this is it. My sister introduced me to this podcast and we continue to spread the word. This is the first time I ever reviewed a podcast, so thanks for keeping ads out but wouldn’t mind them if you keep producing such good content.

Listening For Years!!
What?! I haven’t left a review yet for Jen’s podcast??!! This podcast is a necessary balm for all women but especially anyone who is feeling overwhelmed with over giving to their spouses, children, careers and daily to-do lists. I used to listen to this podcast on my 50-minute one-way commute to work every day; however, upon completion of Jen’s Heal Your Heart program, I quit my job and launched into a new career and change of life. I feel better now than I did when I was 30. This podcast helps keep me centered on things like boundaries, self-care and being responsible for my energy. Thanks Jen! Keep up the amazing work!!

A must listen. My podcast of choice.
I stumbled upon Jen’s podcasts back in early August while planning for a leadership training session for young ladies 7th-12th grade, in National Charity League. It happened to be the episode about being a freakin’ dime and I was hooked! Not only did I reference the podcast and center our training on that DIME, I have been hooked on Jen’s uplifting, thought-provoking and inspiring podcasts since then. I’m SO EXCITED to be going to the Vibrant Happy Women Retreat in just a few weeks! Thank you for your transparency, knowledge-seeking and truth-speaking, Jen!

I found these Podcasts in December 2019 while looking for inspiration. It was the holidays and I felt very unappreciated. A Balm for Burdens
Jen's buoyant voice shines with the authenticity of her message. I have listened to every episode and each week I look forward to the next one. For me, this podcast is a weekly reminder of the type of life I'm trying to live. Sometimes I'm right there on the road with her, and her words are a celebration of recognition and camaraderie. And when I'm allowing myself to be overwhelmed by life, Jen or a guest will say exactly what I needed to hear to get me shifitng my mindset out of victim mentality and taking my power back. Thank you Jen!

Saved my life. Healed my family
I cannot express the importance of your podcast in my life. I found you about two and half years ago. At that time I was in a job that gave me constant anxiety, I was swimming in postpartum anxiety and my marriage was healing from an affair. I can say that the uplifting message and strength of you and your guest inspired the hell out of me. I now have my own private practice, my marriage is stronger than ever, I had my third baby and we are thriving!! Thank you
My sister introduced me to your podcast several months ago and I have been listening ever since. As a busy wife and mom it gives me something to look forward to as I workout, shower, or wash dishes. Something specific happened to me involving your tapping episode and I wanted to share. I suffer from chronic pain and have been seeing a physical therapist for a few months. This past week she talked to me about the emotional connection to physical pain and asked me if I’ve heard of EFT. Having heard your episode on tapping the previous week I knew exactly what my therapist was talking about. I am grateful that I heard the tapping episode before my appointment; I believe it made me more open to the therapy which is now leading me on the path of emotional healing. I want to thank you Jen for the broad knowledge base you offer on your podcast. I love listening and I am constantly learning. You ask great questions and have inspiring interviews. Thank you for helping me on this journey to becoming a happy, vibrant woman.

Can You Relate?
Apparently Monica Parker can. She just made me cry & followed up with a genuine call for action. Can a first generate good mom actually take time for her self (even while feeling guilty), leave laundry and dishes undone, express anger over split balsamic, AND forgive herself for it all!?! Yes. Yes I can. And I will. I’m the first of my friends to start a family. Two young boys and an unintentionally selfish husband create this inner circle of joy and chaos. I. Could not. Cope with my struggles without you, Jen. And all the woman you continue to bring into my life. Sending good vibes & energy your way!

Open and Real
I've been listening to the Vibrant Happy Women podcast for a while now, and while I've never written a review on anything before, I was moved to write one today. As a working mom who continues to want to learn and grow as a teacher and as a mom, I feel so much pressure to do everything right. Dr. Riday has been so inspirational with her knowledge on the topics of motherhood, having a career, loving oneself, and the power of female friendships. I listen daily and have even gotten family and friends to listen as well. The other day, she interviewed her best friend, and the conversation was just beautiful. While I typically listen to podcasts to learn from experts in different fields, in this episode, Dr. Riday just exposed her true self. I was able to feel like I wasn't listening to someone who had it all figured out, but someone who tried her best every day and who understood many of the challenges we face in our own lives. This is simply one of the best podcasts out there. Thank you Dr. Riday for creating a place where women can learn from one another and find inner strength and love.

Gratitude
The best way to describe my feeling for your podcast is gratitude. I often listen while driving to/from visits with my Mom who suffered a major stroke a year ago and hasn’t been the same since. They are emotional visits but knowing I get to enjoy you and your guests’ wisdom eases the burden. Because the only way to get through it is to go through it, right? Episode 148 with Sara Yates was especially enlightening for me as a type-A perfectionist-prone working mom. Thank you for sharing these wonderful women with the world. Keep the vibrance flowing...xo

Thank you, Jen
Hi Jen. I hope you read this to know what an impact your podcast has been on my life. I’m not a mom, but even as a young 23 yr old just getting out of college I could feel myself relating to every topic. About stress and overwhelm, and wanting to show up as our best selves for our relationships and living our purpose. Last year, I made a resolution to start listening to podcasts and yours was the first one I listened to and remains my #1 favorite. I’ve listened every episode since last year and I feel like a completely changed person. This year was my hardest yet. I’ve been extremely overwhelmed applying to competitive graduate programs, working full-time, dating long distance, and adjusting to moving away from many of my friends. You talk about self-compassion and doing small things to boost your mood. For me, whenever I felt alone or lost I was knew I could listen to your podcast and instantly feel grounded and inspired. Thank you for being the relatable, vulnerable, vibrant host you are! I have and will continue to recommend to all my loved one. Hope you have an amazing 2019!

Game Changer - Must Listen for Any Woman
So, I was on my way to present at a conference, and had about an hour's drive in my car. I've been getting more and more into podcasts lately, and wanted to do some "bingeing" (the GOOD kind) on my drive. The Vibrant Happy Women podcast was there in my "Suggested for You" list. I'm not going to lie: I thought that it was going to be another one of those self-help podcasts that say "love yourself" and "you are enough" without ever explaining HOW to do it, or helping me understand the WHY, opening my awareness as to how I- despite my best efforts to pull myself up by my bootstraps - I am in my burnt-out, depressed, overwhelmed mindset. I put on an episode, and it immediately made my heart lighter. You have the most phenomenal guests, and you have exposed me to so many new ways of thinking, that I am mindfully implementing into my life: physically, socially, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. I'm a single mom of 2 little boys with 2 master's degrees, a full-time teaching position in an elementary school, and many professional ambitions/endeavors. But as a simgle mom, I feel like I'm always drowning. I also worry about selling myself short in relationships, or settling because I am lonely. Your podcast is changing my life by leaps and bounds, one episode at a time. I feel like "I've got this" now. Jen Riday: THANK YOU. You have been a blessing to me since the moment I heard your voice, and you have made such a difference in my life already.

I feel more grateful for what I have and I am trying to instill that in my son. Another example, which may seem silly, is that where I live traffic lights are 3 minutes long. Instead of freaking out like I used to do, one of Jen’s podcasts taught me that this is an opportunity to “breathe”. It’s just a little thing, but it works! I feel like I know Jen and I am attending the VHW retreat in February. Jen is real, compassionate, and so intelligent. She is not afraid of sharing her own struggles which makes her podcasts all the more valuable. I even learned to “surrender” something last week after listening to her Happy Bit. Thank you Jen for making such a positive impact on our world. Keep them coming!

Hi Jen! I am a fellow Wisconsinite living in Middleton. I found your podcast by provenance one day and have been thankful for it ever since. Your show has changed my life for the better. I have learned so much about self-care and have loved hearing from moms dealing with similar struggles. As a first grade teacher, I am always searching for inner peace. Turn around
Somewhere along the way, humility became self-deprecating humor. After years living like this, it nearly turned into self-loathing. The Vibrant Happy Women podcast is a critical part of my turn-around, as I learn to accept, and, dare I say, learn to love, myself, my flaws and my family, wholeheartedly. I love the support, the quotable moments, and even the new intro!

Must Listen!
Jen, I could never thank you enough for the lessons you and your guests have taught me through your podcast. They have been life changing. There is such value in these podcast episodes; they are lessons I wish I would have learned growing up but I’m happy I’ve found you now in my adult life so I can begin to heal and transform my life. Through this personal transformation I have also seen changes in those around me and I am constantly recommending your podcast to friends and family. Please keep doing what you’re doing because it is such important work and I know you are helping so many people.

LOVE
Jen, Your podcast & the community that you have created through it is exactly what the world needs. I found this podcast after I spent about a solid year wallowing in bed after my mom’s suicide. During that year, I knew the steps that I needed to take to get better. I knew about the LOA, manifestation, mindfulness, gratitude, EFT tapping...etc. That being said; I was not taking those steps. I taught these steps to struggling family, friends, & to those who I worked with at the Peer Run Respite where I provided peer support at...but again, I couldn’t get myself to really put it into practice myself. I didn’t *FEEL* as if I had the energy to do so (eye roll- I AM MADE OF ENERGY!! I have plenty of that!!). Your podcast and the strong, empowered women that you feature on it have helped me regain ownership of my happiness & got my out of bed...& even better than that, out of Wisconsin!!! Since listening to your podcast I’ve moved to Colorado (a dream of mien!) and continue to grow closer to fully being on MY path, with your help!!! I excitedly shared Vibrant Happy Women with my sister recently- she is a mom to a four year old boy that she is trying to raise mindfully; with an open heart & an open mind...which is why this is the perfect podcast for her!! The content is amazing, always packed with good information & tips. 100% a podcast worth listening to if you want to improve your life. From the bottom of my heart; THANK YOU for inspiring me & putting out so much light. We all need it. Xx- Sammie

YES to Neurodiversity!!
Dear Jen & Debbie: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for an elightening podcast about neurodiversity. My 6 year old was recently diagnosed with dyslexia after an entire school year, full of conferences and assessments to figure out why she couldn't read even just the 10 beginning sight words after months of work and practice. The whole experience drained me: I was emotional, exhausted, and scared; I felt defensive and sad; I was mad at her teacher for acting like our daughter was some kind of anomoly. I fought hard to figure out what was going on with her. Deep down, I knew it was dyslexia, if not an additional challenge. It felt like no one was listening. Then, I found someone who DID listen and showed me the resources I needed. Now, our daughter is getting the help she needs. This episode, like all the others, made me feel part of a collective, part of a community of parents and caregivers that have neurodivergent children who simply need an extra hand & someone to show them the way. I cannot wait to read Debbie's book, and I'm going to give a copy to my daughter's various teachers. They are amazing people, and we are so blessed that they love our daughter so much and want her to be successful. Kathleen Whitworth, Cedarburg, Wisconsin

Never Miss A Show
I found Jen’s podcast a year ago, when I was in a place of feeling overwhelmed and tired. I so related to Jen’s personal story of overwhelm, and felt like I was hanging out with girlfriends when I listened to her podcast. I aspire to surround myself with people who inspire me and Jen very much inspires me with her vulnerability, meditation exercises, and how she really takes care of herself so that she can be the best mom, friend and entrepreneur. With all the things I have learned from her podcasts and Time Mastery For Women, I feel like I am in a much better place in life. I recommend the Vibrant Happy Women podcast to every women I know!

Thank you, Jen.
Hi, Jen! My name is Jolie, I am a 19 year old college student at the University of Oklahoma and YOUR podcasts have changed my life. A lot of the content is geared toward marriage and kids, but there is so much information underlying in these lessons that are more than useful to every woman. I most recently listened to ep. 125 with Carolina Castaños and I was so moved by it. Being a younger listener, it was amazing to hear about how I could be dealing with relationships poorly due to trauma. I currently have a partner whom I’ve been with for 2 and a half years. We had been arguing quite a bit to the point we were considering not being together anymore. And that hurt both of us so intensely because we have the best connection and love each other so much. But as soon as I heard this podcast, I began to listen to my feelings. I had that feeling of needing him to love me and he is the opposite. He doesn’t give a lot when it is so expected. But now, I’ve been able to communicate with him much easier and I am able to walk away instead of adding fuel to the fire. He has taken notice. He has started to reach out to me, wanting to be more romantic, and I am starting to notice little acts of love that I didn’t see before. I was so hungry for his immediate attention that I was blind to him really trying to speak my love language. And now that I have started my journey into loving myself, I see the love that is shown. I feel strong and confident. I feel powerful. I’m always in awe of how empowered I feel after an episode. Thank you, Jen. I am young. These are lessons that will be instilled in me forever. Thank you for empowering women all over.

Great personal development podcast!
Wonderful podcast! Though it’s geared towards Moms as a single 20 something I still love it and just sometimes skip the parent related episodes. Great interviews with wonderful people with self help and personal development tips. Usually great at giving something tangible the listeners can try. Jen has a lovely voice as well! The episodes are a great length as well.

My life is brand new
I found Jen during a dark time in my life, I searched my podcast app for “happiness” because that’s what I needed more of...Vibrant Happy Women did not disappoint. The stories of real women overcoming struggles, sometimes similar to my own, are so empowering. And my experience with the VHWC small groups has given me a way to work through the muck of life with other women who are in the thick of it, too. As I strive to break free from depression, anxiety and overwhelm, toward higher vibrational living, I am so grateful for the tools and insights Jen has led me to throughout 2018. If someone told me last January that by August I would be spending 16+ hours a week on self-love and care, homeschooling my kids, spending quality time with my husband, rescuing kittens, and creating a successful, purpose driven business all at the same time, I would have scoffed at the insanity. But I’m here, doing it, creating the life I want to live with a heart filled with gratitude and love, moving through life with a deepened inner peace. My husband has noticed it, my kids have noticed it, and it’s starting to rub off on them; which is an amazing feeling - to know I’ve given them that gift, all because Jen and the vibrant happy women gave it to me! From my soul to yours, thank you!

Thank you
Dear Jen and staff, A huge thank you for the good and important work that you are doing! I found your podcast as I was looking for a specific person (brene brown) to listen to and gain information/inspiration. I started with that episode and then the technology of my phone and car connecting automatically (I am nearly-completely a tech idiot) gave me the opportunity to continue listening to all of your episodes clear to the beginning. Wow, what a blessing in my life at this particular time! I was clawing my way out of an eight year struggle with depression, peri menopause, relationship breakdown, and still trying to be a wife and mother. You and your guests gave me so much inspiration, insight, validation, information, encouragement, I could go on and on. So much of what you talk about personally I connect with and some of the lifestyle techniques and self care that you and your guests share were things that I had learned and done previous to hitting this extreme low point in my life. I am grateful that I was able to listen to others and be reminded again of what is possible. I have learned many new things and been exposed to many different ideas and thoughts. Thank you for your work and I am grateful that I have been able to listen to two years worth of pod casts in the past 5 months. I have recommended your podcast to many of my friends. Keep up the good work! Thank you, Nola

I will listen, rewind and listen again... a few I’ve gone back and listened to at least 2 more times just to get the whole thought process down. Thank you for having a show with great women teaching women how to be great! This is my happy, self-love time - my vitamin “YES”for every day! I take notes, apply strategies, and just cannot tell you how much I’ve needed your podcast. I. LOVE IT.

not an accident that I found your podcast
A friend introduced me to your podcast and I fell in love immediately! The first time I browsed your podcast topics, I was scrolling through and was stopped by the title "How do you want to be remembered". I listened to the Happy Bit and reflected on how I want my legacy and then closed the Bit. I looked at the date you posted this Happy Bit and started sobbing! The exact day that you posted it, was the last day that my boyfriend's sister was alive. She was murdered on June 23, 2017, so June 22, 2017 (the day you posted that podcast) was indeed her last full day of life. I knew from then on, I was meant to find you! I listen to you everyday and I love sharing you with anyone I can :). Thank you for helping me and my boyfriend grieve and think about her amazing legacy!

Hands Down BEST Personal Growth outlet as Mom.
I want to give this podcast 10 stars and Jen a giant bear hug. Jen, to say you've helped transform me this past year is an understatement. Because of your words of wisdom, positive energy and insight into being a mother, daughter, wife and friend, I have not only reflected SO much more, but I've asked myself the tough questions, come at hurdles with compassion and made some SERIOUS decisions and changes. It's ironic the timing of your last two podcasts because one of the biggest changes I/we are making is selling our 4,000+ sq foot home and moving with only 20% of our possessions into a house less than half it's size in a walkable community we've always wanted to live in. One of the less obvious changes I have made was establishing a solid boundary btwn my mother and I. It hadn't been pretty for a long time and after being guilted into things and borderline emotionally abused, I now understand that creating a boundary isn't being cruel. It's protecting myself from emotional hurt and it's vital to my happiness and my success at raising my own kids. I've been wanting to write a review for awhile and say thank you. I look forward to all the episodes to come. And I can't wait to call myself a Vibrant Happy Women because I am getting pretty darn close to being there! ;) Your work is SO important. Keep it up and I will keep telling moms about it.

Synchronized Therapy
Every time I listen to an episode I am in awe by how synchronized these episodes are to what I am thinking about or struggling with. Sometimes this podcast offers conformation that I am on the right track. For example, this past Thursday morning I wrote a blog about the importance of spending time outside in nature, and today while listening to Thursday's Happy Bit you discussed the same subject. Not only that, but you discussed the same exact research that I used in my blog post (which hasn't been published yet). I literally got goosebumps! This isn't the first time that has happened. 🙂 Thank you Jen for being real and vulnerable with listeners because it allows others and myself a genuine connection, which is oftentimes difficult in the isolated world of a mom.

Empowering!
Every time I listen, I walk away with something that can really change the day for the better. When Momma is happy, everyone is happy! I just listened to episode #108 and it was very timely because I have been lifting weights for a few months and am starting to notice a lot of changes in my body. While they are positive--stronger shoulders, stronger lower body--they are still something that affect how I look. Some clothes are no longer fitting and different types of clothes are more flattering. Anyway, all of those changes make me question what I am doing. I grew up in the 80s and 90s when everyone was trying to becomes smaller, smaller, smaller. It still lurks in the back of my head that "Summer Season = Smaller" and episode #108 just came at the most perfect time reassure me that strength is important. Weight lifting and all of it's benefits are much more important than trying to whittle yourself away for the season.

Amazing!
It is truly a time for women to feel empowered and strong. Jen Riday gives women the opportunity to see into each other, to understand our common struggles and to begin believing that we are truly full of light and love. Each one of us has a path that is our own and can only be traveled by us. Having a guide who provides support and grounding in reality is so important and she shines a light on that path. Thank you Jen for being with me in my heart when I start to doubt my way! I feel strong knowing that there are so many women who are on a similar journey and that I cannot fail with their love around me. Aimee-NJ

Chewbacca Mom
It’s refreshing to hear a podcast that is focused on women and positivity. It can be really easy to get bogged down by complaining, but this show is uplifting and encouraging. It was fun to hear the Candace Payne interview. How can you not smile thinking about her in the Chewbacca mask? It was interesting to hear her recount her experience with postpartum depression, her experiences with homelessness, and great to hear her faith stories.

Vibrant & Happy Episode 85
Oh my gosh, I stumbled across this podcast and I am so glad I did. Not only did this episode speak to me, I really enjoyed Erin Chase and her being so real and honest and the info on the 5 Dollar Dinners is something I am now cracking out on. That being said, I am a stay at home mom that just needs some connection sometimes and this podcast has really just spoken to me. Its wonderful and just what I have been looking for. Heres to listening to older episodes while I run kids around and while I go for my walks and also while anxiously waiting for the newer episodes! You have a new follower for as long as your doing this Dr. Jen, this is amazing.

Perfect Podcast
As a woman at a place in life of really trying to do an overhaul on mindset and health, this podcast has been perfect for me! Dr. Jen has the most soothing and sweet voice, leading talks with amazing women and talking through how to live the most vibrant and happy life we can. The talks always include a “low point” which is helpful for those like me looking for ways to come out of a difficult situation, better tomorrow than I am today. Thank you Jen from r dedicating your life to helping other to better theirs. I hope you truly know the impact that you make.

Best Part of a Monday
I accidentally stumbled upon this amazing podcast by Dr. Jen Riday. I tried to get Siri to play 'Magic Lessons by Liz Gilbert podcast' and suddenly Episode 33 of Vibrant Happy Women started playing. It didn't take me long to get pulled in; I subscribed to the podcast after listening to that episode and now I look forward to my Monday morning commute to work to hear the newest episode. Jen asks all of her guests about their low point in life- and then they share their story and how they survived/improved/changed/thrived. It's a lesson that we all carry around hurt, loss, disease, and pain but those things don't have to define who we are or how we live. Each guest is exactly as the title suggests: Vibrant Happy Women.

Love it!! Much needed.
I just discovered your podcast on Tuesday, when I was in incredible pain and in desperate need of it. I LOVE it!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was searching for podcasts with Brene Brown and/or Glennon Doyle Melton and discovered your interview with Laura Thompson Brady, which spoke to me so deeply. I listened to the one with Callie Blount this morning and her take on cooking for people to show love is exactly how I've always felt. I just started embracing "never let perfect get in the way of good enough" a few years ago, and it's been so freeing. Thank you, Dr. Riday, so doing these. I didn't know how much I needed it until I started listening. Posting and sharing all over to get more women hearing these messages. <3

Fantastic show that tackles topics that are so important to consider. Essential Steps to True Self Care
I love this - applies to every woman, with or without kids! We take self-care for granted and figure it'll just happen, until, that is, our bodies crash, saying "Stop! Listen to me! I need attention too!" We need to pay attention, as Lisa says. I also loved her point about needing something that was "just Lisa" - not for the kids, or the job, or the husband....just for her. Terrific!

Uplifting and Relevant
A lovely conversation between Jen Riday and Alissa Parker, mother of Emilie, who died in the Sandy Hook shooting. Whether directly or indirectly, we are all affected when a life is taken too soon. This podcast explores Alissa's healing journey offering insight and hope to those overwhelmed with grief. Excellently done. I thought the questions were spot on, and the answers inspired and often surprising. When we think of a mother who's lost a child to such an evil act, we often think of a victim, but after listening to this I can't think of her that way any more. I felt touched, inspired, uplifted. Worth the listen again and again.
