Great new find — fresh and fun!
Loved the Eragon and High School Musical 2 episodes. I went deep down the baseball scene rabbit hole after listening to the HSM2 episode. Kason was a great guest — very charming and witty. I would love to hear another episode with him as a guest. He makes a great edition to the show.

My new favorite!
This podcast succeeds where other similar movie/tv-discussing podcasts fail. Jane and Isa don’t just go through the plot, but do a lot of great analysis and tell fun personal stories. I appreciate the distinction they make between “is it good?” and “did we like it?” in determining the worth of the movie. I’m also not personally a huge pop culture follower, so it’s fun to get my dose of it through the lens of two smart, hilarious women!

very good pod
They watch all the teen movie trash so I don't have to! But now I can at least understand a bunch more pop culture references Very funny hosts w a great dynamic. Can't wait to hear what's next!

I <3 jughead
I love this pod!!! Jane and Isa make me giggle all episode long but I especially love that they refer to actors by roles they’ve played 😂 Regina George. Jughead. Reggie. So funny to me! Keep the eps coming!!!

Great times discussing bad (so far) movies!
Listening to this pod feels like hanging out with your friends, discussing the teen movies you unironically loved and the ones you just can’t bring yourself to watch.

The company we need while sheltering in our homes
I have loved Jane and Isa keeping me company in my ears. One of the things I miss most about pre-pandemic life is engaging in or overhearing interesting conversations with friends. This is what I have missed! Isa and Jane strike the right balance of personal story, film criticism, humor, and grace. Life is a little better if we take the time to contemplate things....even teen movies of questionable quality. This pod is a great reminder that all art is worth examining!

Sharp
Jane and Isa give great breakdowns of teen content - they know how to do it by tapping into the itch we WANT these stories to scratch while pointing out how they fall short. Oh! And they’re funny about it!

Fun (and efficient) hangout
Great time hanging out with Jane and Isa and I definitely prefer experiencing these movies this way- I can entertain my dark fascination with algorithmically generated netflix content in less than half the time it takes to watch one of the movies!

Banter and Pop Culture
Feels like I’m hanging out with friends talking about dumb (and accasionally great movies). Wish they had more eps/guests though! Mic quality is not great on the earlier episodes lol.
