I used to love listening now you barley get any stories. Did not like the trash talk when it comes to other creators. I understand having your opinion but we are here to listen to Reddit stories not tangents.

Good show
Good show, love the hosts, all in all top podcast for me. I would have given it 5 stars however I deduct a point because the title implies that maybe they will have interesting takes. Sometimes that happens but most of the time they go with the predictable/pandering answer to make everyone happy. Would hope that maybe they actually have a hot take every once in a while. Regardless, will keep listening.

Not the same BUT still great!
I love THT and have binged every episode and wait weekly for the new ones. I would love if the tangents weren’t as long but it feels like every episode the amount of stories is less and less. Also when y’all read these stories it is so hard for y’all to remember basic information like who’s telling the story or an important factor to their story and then you go on such a long tangent just to realize you messed up a piece of the story to start another long tangent! On the other hand I would literally listen to Alejandra all by herself on a podcast everything about her is AMAZING! Her voice, her opinions, everything! Huge fan ❤️

Brings me joy
Out of all the podcasts in the world, this is the one I’m constantly listening to. When I catch up, I purposefully wait a couple weeks so I am binge listen again. I love how they have an OG crew and how they also sometimes sprinkle a new co host every one in a while. The OG crew (Morgan, Alejandra, Lauren, Justin and Jerry) are such wholesome and genuinely kind people that look at every perspective most of the time. I also love the couple times you have your brother and Amy, his wife on!! I obviously love the long episodes but I get that people live lives. Thank you for this go to podcast!!

I’ve looked forward to Thursdays since 2021 because of THT! Recently joined the Patreon as well - I’m a diehard fan of this podcast! I love EVERYONE on the show. Like the show but
That Greyson/Grayson/whoever he was episode was terrible. Maybe I’m too old but he seemed like he was 12 years old and his commentary added nothing. Stick to the OG crew! I feel like that group has hit their stride and are great together, aside from some overly long tangents/personal stories. RUIN- not roooooon I know they’re just reading Reddit stories but come on! I also do wish they’d fact check themselves. The confidence with which they say something completely incorrect is kind of funny.

I used to love it..
I really used to love this podcast but it feels like now we get three stories and the rest of the episode is Morgan on her high horse about how much better she is than everyone. Also the tangents about OT and her random medical advice are too much. We get it. If you love OT so much go do it

This is my favorite
Absolute favorite podcast. I look forward to the new episode every week and once I’m done I’m bummed to have to wait a week. The only thing I don’t agree with is them talking about age gaps. I believe regardless of gender, once you’re 23+ it shouldn’t matter how big of an age gap you have in your relationship.. you’re an adult and it’s you’re choice to get with someone regardless of age.

Used to be better!!
I used to love to listen to the show - it was part of my Thursday routine. Lately it’s getting harder and harder to listen to the whole show. Morgan needs to learn to control her random stories, thoughts and medical advice. These squirrel moments are getting to be too much, and it’s not once or twice a show - it has evolved to 1-3 per story. Please go back to the heavy editing and remove these!!

My absolute favorite
This is my favorite podcast of all time, hands down. I love the consideration that’s put into each “take”. Morgan and the cohosts all have their own way of thinking about the situation that gives you a chance to see all sides. I don’t necessarily agree with every single take but it’s fun to hear people’s different perspectives and thought processes which sometimes helps me reconsider my own. That being said, I’m not a cry baby so when I disagree with something, I don’t go leaving a bad review because my widdle feewings got hurt so this show gets 5 stars from me. Also love the consistency of the episodes coming out on time every week. I know that can’t be easy! You’re doing a great job sweetie.

My favorite thing to listen to on my way home from work
I work with kids so most of my interactions with other people are with kids under 10 years old which sometimes drives me nuts lol but this podcast has given me an outlet where I get my daily drama and adult conversation even if I’m not apart of the conversation. I love hearing all your different opinions and how y’all view different things. Thank you for giving me a way to decompress and have adult conversations in my day to day life! Finding this podcast has helped me so much! Thank you for all the time and effort you’ve put into making good content for us! This show is truly one of the best! “Save me”
Referring to the scenario on Justin saving her or the baby Morgan says “save me, we can have another baby”. WHO THINKS LIKE THAT?? What Is the matter with you for real?? You know it’s not like a dog that can be replaced right? It’s a fully formed infant at that point. A non replaceable person with a soul and you’d have it die and just have another. Get help.

Love love love
I really love this podcast. It’s so entertaining. Overall, I find everyone to be so kind and funny. It helps me pass my time at work and feel engaged while doing mundane things. The 100th episode was awesome, but Morgan and Alejandra together are prob my least fav of all. I LOVE Lauren and I like Justin too. I’m a huge huge fan of jerry too. My dad is passed away so I really enjoy listening to jerry and his takes. I don’t enjoy the way Lauren and Alejandra interact in general. The judgement comes out when they are together. Very much holier than thou. Ick. Lately, I find Morgan to be off putting. The way she mispronounces the most simple words is incredibly ANNOYING. Like, come on. You know how to pronounce vague. You know how to pronounce ruin. You know how to say the word annoying. It isn’t hard. I have also been finding her incredibly judgmental lately. I feel like she envisions she will be this perfect parent and it’s just not realistic. Quite literally, everyone struggles and you will have moments where you yourself fail your child, trust me. Overall though, love it! Wish I could attend a live show, but I live in Denver. Everyone complaining about their views/take on religion: if you’re right wing conservative, just don’t listen to this podcast. It isn’t for you. If you want a podcast where they don’t share what they believe find that elsewhere. It’s not confusing why Christianity has been discussed on the show. Christianity has SO many inherent issues and can be incredibly problematic. If this were a podcast that shared right wing conservative religious views for example I would not listen. So if that’s important to you, find a different podcast.

I love the idea of the podcast, I’ve never been into Reddit but your takes make for an interesting listen. If you don’t like their opinions then just go on Reddit. I prefer the opinions of the women (Morgan, Lauren & Alejandra) over Jerry & Justin. But that could just be the man hating feminist inside me. I generally like the personal stories/rants, but hate the constant repeating of yourself and others trying to make the same point 5 minutes later. “You have two ears and one mouth”.

Easy to listen to, topics are kind of depressing at times
I like this podcast it is easy to listen to. The content is depressing at times. They go through Reddit threads and pull out the craziest stories. Some of them are so sad you can’t believe someone would be so awful. The downside of the podcast is their #1 advice is always divorce. I think it is because the host and guest hosts are young. As a side note, Morgan’s voice is amazing I want her to narrate audiobooks!

I enjoy listening to this podcast, and I enjoy the banter… but NOTHING is more frustrating than when Morgan says she can’t find the update or the comments bc the account was suspended, or something of that nature, when she herself has already seen it… What boggles me is why y’all don’t immediately screen shot the updates and comments? I can understand a few times of forgetting, but at this point it throws off the entire episode 😢

I started listening to Two Hot Takes late fall of last year. I’m away for work the majority of the time and life in the sky can be repetitive. I look forward to listening to Morgan every week. The Reddit stories are mostly hilarious, sometimes frustrating and occasionally sad. Morgan, her friends and family give insightful advice and the blunt straightforward opinions are so refreshing. i love the pod. i don’t have an issue with much except lately it seems like conversations are really getting side tracked. i love when jerry, justin or alejandra and other guests are on. lauren always seems so lost, she loses her thought process constantly and any side comment relating to her personal life has no relevance to the story. it gets to side tracked. she’s alittle to lost and air headed for. if she’s going to continue to be on, please at least pay attention and stop side tracking so much.

Stop Diagnosing w Buzzwords
Love the stories, but for God’s sake lay off the self-righteous know-it-all diagnosing. The most recent episode’s comment about munchausen by proxy for the mom faking her daughter’s food allergy was just ridiculous and showed a complete lack of understanding of what the disease actually is. Are a lot of these stories messed up? Absolutely, that’s why we enjoy listening to the podcast. But Morgan you’re not a mental health professional, and what you say can actually be harmful by spreading misinformation.

Please have more respect for other beliefs
I have spent a lot of time thinking and reading about the abortion debate, so I understand why people get so heated (I do it too). I used to be pro-choice, but I am now pro-life (not for religious reasons) and pro-birth control. But I know many people who are pro-life and pro-abstinence, and that stance makes sense to me, since no other method of birth control is 100% effective. So I don’t really like that Morgan was rude to people who believe that in the most recent episode. This isn’t the first time she has been passive aggressive to pro-life people, so I’m leaving a comment now. Otherwise I usually enjoy the podcast.

-I’m here as a liberal Christian(yes we exist 😂). I just want to say that as much as I love the Reddit stories and the people, I’m going to echo some other people here. Why is it that Christianity is the only religion I hear Morgan and Justin attacking on this podcast? There was a specific episode with a guest and Morgan was saying something about Justin, and she said “I don’t want to say God’s Gift…” I just don’t understand why this comment was necessary, especially with the tone that it came with. If you’re not Christian, I definitely will not force you into the religion. Way too many Christians do that and all it does is give us a negative stereotype, but I can’t stand for these uncalled for comments either. -Another point: Morgan’s dad is fun and cool, but I’m not sure if he’s suited for the podcast. Sometimes his episodes are difficult to listen to, not because I don’t agree with his takes, I just don’t want to hear him ramble for so long. -Next, why are people calling Justin dumb? Like what? He seems to be extremely intelligent, I’m just confused on this lol. - NEXT. I’m talking to all the people saying how much “liberal propaganda” is here. Let’s be honest: you’re only uncomfortable because you’re conservative 🤭. If it was right wing propaganda, you’d say nothing because you agreed with it. That being said, I will say that sometimes the woke perspective becomes overbearing. It can be overly pushed, as if you’re trying to prove what you stand for. My favorite Podcast
I adore this podcast! Thursdays are my new favorite days. I have to drive an hour on weekends to my bf house and listening to TwoHot Takes makes the drive actually interesting. Makes me feel like I’m just hanging out with a group of friends. Morgan and Justin are my favorite people! They always have such interesting topics & stories to talk about!

Had to stop listening
I really liked THT for awhile, I looked forward to every Thursday when a new episode would come out. But, as many have said, the rambling gets annoying. And I’ve personally found some of the random things Morgan and others have discussed really weird? Like how they hate when people don’t pronounce “interesting” correctly. Yet, Morgan struggles with the word vague. Just seems hypocritical. Maybe it’s just not for me, and others will still enjoy it.

The homophobic thing in the gender ep…
Honestly, for the past year I’ve loved this podcast. Every time you uploaded I’d like, either immediately click or literally go do something while I listen. However honestly the outburst from the “taking the gender out of it” story just. I dunno how to put it, it just turned me off and scared me, tbh. To hear some privileged white (presumably) cishet person yell at a camera telling people they’re unreasonable and should leave if they even so much as suggest you may have some type of subconscious homophobia is gross to me. It made me feel horrible, and I don’t think you’re homophobic. Implying that two men who are close to each other are gay (when you would probably not do the same if it were two women) CAN come off as homophobic to some people. And I think on top of that; using the “they could get fired” argument is such a cliche and genuinely just struck something in me, bc I’ve been told that before. “Oh you shouldn’t talk about someone being prejudiced they could lose their job etc etc”. To say you cannot be afforded criticism from gay people in what they perceive to be homophobic (obv within circumstances) and that they should instead just keep quiet because YOU don’t think it’s an issue hurts. Idk. I’m sorry if this is too long, but I’ve been avoiding the podcast ever since that ep came out, and after seeing another review abt the same thing I wanted to voice my thoughts. I don’t know if I’ll continue to watch the podcast. It seems like the audience is “woke” cishet white people who don’t want criticism or input from any of the people they say they support. This is coming from a trans bi white 14 yr old for clarification.

My fav but the sidetrackssss
I love this podcast, It. Gets me through the days and weeks with ease with funny or serious topics they cover. Only downside is the long rants and side stories they love to tell, maybe note it and save it for the end? When the tangent gets so long we forget the reddit topics, maybe lets not ramble. But regardless, always my favorite pod

Very mixed feelings
I love the format and theme of the podcast and enjoy listening to the stories and the comments. I don’t want to go on too much of a rant but I would love to join in with the requests to cut waaay down on the commentary and personal anecdotes.The hosts are not terrible but they make it incredibly difficult for me to listen at times… why not edit out the parts where you struggle or pronounce a word or when you use a common phrase incorrectly?? It does not make you more relatable, it just makes any intelligent listener lose respect for you and your opinions.

Been hate listening for awhile trying to parse out what it is about these people that is so annoying. There seem to be 2 types of listeners; 1) People who identify with basic pumpkin spice latte girls like Morgan, Lauren & Alejandra, therefore they love the endless, self-centered banter full of platitudes, cliches said incorrectly and holier-than-thou advice that falls flat when you actually apply it to the real life, hopelessly flawed human beings that we all are. 2) People who actually want to hear the Reddit stories and comments and don’t give a flip about what trending-now, wannabe *woke* perspective these simpletons happen to be slangin’ in the moment. They’re so self-conscious about saying the most *right* crowd pleasing thing that you can literally hear the cogs turning in their brains while they try to formulate the most politically correct answer, while still sounding “fierce.” Just because you have a microphone doesn’t mean your opinion is important. In fact most of the “advice” is coming from trite phrases recycled from self-love IG memes. It sort of makes me miss the days of the gatekeepers, as problematic as they tend to be. There’s something to be said for hosts who are trained in speech so they know how to self edit verbal ticks and redundancies (at the end of the day, kiddo… but uh…), who care about fact checking and who don’t get the plot twisted and end up thinking people are tuning in because the hosts are the most interesting people on the planet. Where’s the alternate show hosted by people who aren’t sanctimonious, pseudo intellectuals with zero training in broadcasting?

My Favorite, but PLEASE with the Manscaped Ads
Love this podcast, it’s the only one I’ll listen to as soon as a new episode comes out! Really brightens my day, even when the stories get heavy. My only qualm is the Manscaped Ads. I don’t care who sponsors you but PLEASE, the last thing I want to hear about is shaving balls when I’m trying to relax on my commute. A little less graphic please.

It’s a lot of bias towards men on this podcast. I agree with them most of the time when the men are the AH, but then it’s the constant belittling of the men, but if roles were reversed the hosts are not as harsh.

Dog grooming🫶
I’m a dog groomer and my day is filled with nothing but silence, dryer sounds, and dogs barking. I bought a nice pair of headphones and I listen to this podcast (and father knows something) EVERYDAY. It’s so nice to hear the juicy stories and personal write ins. I feel like this podcast has made me a better person just listening. Gotta love that. Love Morgan’s brain so much!

Ultra Woke But Entertaining
The hosts of this podcast are ultra woke to the point of it biting them in the butt. Every episode features a new lesson on how to be woke with the Reddit posts sprinkled in. They are good people, but they really shove woke culture down people’s throats. If I wanted a lesson I would listen to another podcast.

Long Time Listener, But Growth is Needed
I first started listening to this show as I felt very relatable to Morgan, plus I enjoyed their thoughts about the stories and opening up a new perspective that I had not considered. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will remain subbed after this recent episode, because I don’t think Morgan has a certain maturity when it comes to dealing with a broader audience. The whole “I’m not homophobic” outburst really came out of left field and as a queer trans person, honestly felt uncomfortable. While I have never felt like she, or anyone she has hosted is/was, I do often feel like there is a lack of understanding from a cis perspective. It’s never hurtful, at least not to me, and is usually typical in more broader spaces, so it’s more innocent. The thing I don’t agree with is shrugging off when people make those comments. If people of that community have pointed out their hurt, it is your responsibility and privilege to emphatically listen so that you can learn. I was not hurt by the joke made, but I was hurt the continue disregard people have when it comes from actually listening to the community that is hurt. Do better for us, please.

I LOVE this podcast
I absolutely love this podcast, it has quickly become my favorite thing to listen to on my way to work, while cooking, or getting ready. I know Morgan reads these soooooo girl GO GET YOUR BREAST REDUCTION ! I am one month post-op from mine after thinking about it for 7 years (I’m 25). I went from a 34 DDD to a 34 C and this was by far the best decision for my well being. I was also very afraid of going under but it was worth every bit of it . I laugh with this podcast and scream at all the different stories as if I were in the room with them, i feel like we are all besties. I am so glad I found it.

There’s quite a bit of misinformation being told my Morgan on the podcast. I’m all for the rest of the podcast, but the lack of checking facts makes me think the historical facts should be put on the back burner. Also this is a biased podcast.

I get lost in the tangents
I love the show, and the stories but a lot of the time Morgan will read a story and then go off subject for so long. The last story I heard was about the economy airline ticket and they talked for what seemed like forever about teachers and jobs and them not giving you time off for important things. Between the ads and the off topic convos I have to skip a lot.

Wonderful Podcast
I recently discovered this podcast and I’m almost caught up on all the episodes. I normally listen to morbid and crime junkie and needed something a little bit different. I throughly enjoy listening to their discussions and different perspectives. A lot of the times it’s things I never thought about and great advice. The one critique I have is it sometimes feels like the guest get a little nervous voicing their opinions if it differs from Morgan (granted I know Morgan welcomes it) just wish they would be braver about it! It has improved too since the beginning.

Favorite Pod
I love this podcast. Morgan and Justin are goals and I just loooove how soothing everyone’s voices are. It makes it easy to listen to. I know a lot of people complain that they talk too much and not enough stories, but I like it. My only criticism is some of the guests. They interrupt during the stories, they don’t follow the structure, and their voices kill me. Victoria Paris, Sarah Schauer, and Ji Moon made me want to claw my ears off. Couldn’t even finish the episodes. Otherwise, it’s one of my favorite podcasts! Keep it up girlfriend and co.

I love this podcast! It’s one of my favorites for sure! I love the usual guests (Lauren being my fav) and I’m kind of sad when I see it isn’t Lauren, Alejandra, Justin or Jerry but it’s always good either way! I look forward to it weekly. Morgan has literally the cutest laugh ever too and I laugh with her every time because of it 🤣 I usually agree with their takes and if I don’t, I think they do a good job explaining their stance and sometimes it changes mine. Some Suggestions :)
This is my favorite podcast! The stories are so interesting and unexpected. Since I’ve started though, I have noticed some things that I think could be improved on. It would be awesome if we could hear more stories. At times, some stories/topics are talked about for a little bit too long and could definitely be condensed. Whenever an episode finishes, I always wish I could have heard more stories or comments. The hosts and guests sharing their personal stories are great, but sometimes it gets a little off track and I struggle to find the relevancy to the topic at hand. One other thing, is that Morgan can talk over the guests- especially her friends. She interrupts them constantly and seems on edge when they don’t share the same opinion. Please just let them speak and take turns. I’ve honestly felt both sad and mad for your friends at times. A few times I even felt second-hand embarrassment. I was sharing this podcast with some of my friends and they all said that they felt Morgan could be rude and condescending towards others. Morgan, it may be helpful to take a step back and just listen. Having a “my opinion is the only correct one” attitude eliminates any opportunities to learn or even considers someone else’s perspective. Overall, I would definitely recommend this podcast. These little notes are things that I have noticed, but that doesn’t mean this podcast isn’t great and worth a listen :)

Great podcast when with friends & not guests
I love the episodes with Morgan’s friends & her boyfriend! I look forward every week to listen to this podcast. It’s creative and I find their conversations so fun! I am not a big fan of the episodes with guests (unless it’s therapists or experts on the topic). Also, a personal pet peeve that Morgan does….talks in her normal voice during the pod then when we switch to an ad read she talks different more soft and almost baby sounding. Please just read the ads in your normal voice I get such cringe…but it’s not just you Morgan I don’t like when any podcasts do that.

Still one of my favorites but-
Hi, i THT super fan, has been here since the tiktoks!! I really feel as if the show has gotten more personable which is fine, but i find myself constantly pressing the 30sec forward button. I love hearing they’re takes but we only get 3 stories in that last 20 mins and the rest of the pod is just nothing. Morgs i love you. But try bringing some people on who are not you’re friends so you can’t get side tracked?

This Review Is Strictly Constructive
I love the concept of this show, I’m mostly interested in the topics, and I appreciate the effort it takes to put it out there every week, and so I gave you guys 5 stars easy… I’m trying to pin point what makes me sort of hesitant… some personalities are made for podcasts and some just aren’t… Morgan is the brains, the voice, and the reason the pod exists, and we love her for that. Lauren and Alejandra are great, engaging guests. Specifically Lauren is so funny! Whenever Lauren or Alejandra is guesting I know I’ll enjoy what’s to come. Justin… It’s funny because I feel like Justin and I would get on pretty well irl. I’m into science and space and philosophy and music… but on the mic? I’m not so sure… I’ve taken into account that the way the show is edited, it’s designed for people to give their immediate reactions, and sometimes you don’t know exactly what to say when put on the spot, and I’m sure Justin is lovely. It just ain’t it for me. I’ve seen some nasty knit picky reviews on here. Some to do with specific personalities, but mostly to do with the trailing off on subjects for 10-15 minutes. For me the problem is a combination of both. I kind of love when podcasters trail off, WHEN they’re personalities I like, and when the conversation is more enriched by going off topic. If I don’t jive with you, and/or you don’t have much to add to the discussion… you shouldn’t be there. So for me it’s not so much that they’re trailing off, it’s who’s doing the trailing off and what they’re going on about… that’s just some constructive stuff… Otherwise, I generally love the podcast, and tune in every week. Keep up the good work 💙

Love listening but edit
I love listening to this podcast — it’s fun, lighthearted, and makes me laugh. But they really need to work on editing themselves . Being overly preachy on political topics has been reduced, which is good since they would spread misinformation but in the 10/27 episode Morgan chooses to include the line “I’m not white enough to check” from a Reddit post. The hosts all laugh but I don’t think this appropriate at all. Would it have been edited out if the comment had been about any other race? If so, then it is not appropriate & Morgan is choosing to perpetuate racial divide

Morgan’s rude
Morgan’s changed a lot throughout the course of the podcast, and now comes off as really self absorbed and truthfully just annoying. Other people can have opinions, and she’s rude to co-hosts when their opinions differ from hers. It’s also like she’s always fighting for the attention, always making it about herself. Lately, she’s been coming off really rude towards Lauren especially. Lauren, get a better friend, Morgan shouldn’t dictate your opinions nor should she yell at you.

My safe space
Normally when listening to podcast I hate when they get off topic or side tracked. However this podcast is so different for me. I cannot get enough of Morgan. I love listening to Two Hot Takes. My favorite part of my week is listening to two hot takes and deep cleaning my house. It’s my therapy lol. I cannot get enough of Morgan and all her guest stars. Justin, Alejandra, Lauren and even her dad. Two hot takes is by far my favorite thing to listen too. I have heard every single podcast. It’s to the point where my boyfriend will even ask me “so any good stories from two hot takes?” I’m absolutely obsessed.

Love the show, but I have one critique
I used to be obsessed with this podcast and I still really like it but my only complaint is the side banter and random stories. I was really excited to listen to the most recent episode with Drew & Deison bec i LOVE them, but there were way too many random side stories and it was really boring for the listener. I feel like it was just a conversation between friends and not as many Reddit stories. I will still listen because I love Morgan and the show, I just wish there was slightly less side conversation about random life events, it’s just not interesting to listen to when you’re not apart of the conversation.

I normally love listening to these episodes, but episode 84 was painful to get through. The stories/scenarios sounded fake and embellished. The guests were also incredibly annoying to listen to, and their laughs and jokes at inappropriate times were distracting and honestly hurt my ears. Skip this episode…

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a long time. It’s still a good podcast - I love to hear the interesting stories. But the amount of talking that goes on after the story is just too much. Like I get talking about the story for 5 or so minutes but sometimes it goes up to 15 minutes or more and I have to start skipping (hoping not to miss any edits / Reddit comments). I wish it was a quick recap but..it’s not my podcast Also I think I only like Lauren and Alejandra as guests on the show 🤣 I end up not fully listening to other episodes with most guests bc they’re kinda annoying Lol

Hot take: no more guests
Morgan, my dear, you have enough wonderful cohosts with Lauren, Justin, Alejandra, and Jerry. The guests just ruin things. They interrupt during the stories, they don’t follow the structure, and their voices kill me. Victoria Paris and Sarah Schauer, Ji Moon made me watch the claw my ears off. Couldn’t even finish the episodes. The only guess that hasn’t killed me was Hannah and Drew. Please, keep the guests limited or none at all

I love Justin, Alejandra and Morgan’s dad. So I started watching this series on YouTube when it first came out I loved Morgan and her friends but when a certain writer was criticized for saying her opinion, Morgan-who claims this podcast is “easy going” and “unbiased”- certainly made her opinion and bias known. Fast forward to May 2022 I thought maybe I should give it another try so i listen on my IPhone now when I’m bored and I even have gotten my boyfriend into it when we go on trips. I have conflicting feelings bc this podcast is very political and anti-Christian. Im not saying my religion is the best or trying to force anyone to be a Christian bc that’s not reasonable but maybe don’t support everyone’s religion but Christians. I haven’t heard the Olivia episode or the episode where a Victoria person has been on (it seems nobody likes those but i will listen to them) but this podcast has left a bad taste in my mouth for more than one episode. I don’t mind differing opinions but like the old saying goes if you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything and sometimes it’s quite confusing on what Morgan is about bc ,let’s be honest, life isn’t the sunshine and rainbows she wants it to be. PLEASE just get back to the original stuff. No politics or walking on eggshells. I really do love everyone on the show and I rly want to love it again!!!

I love this show. I found it on TikTok & it actually introduced me to podcasts. I checked out a few podcasts regularly but I mainly just listened to music at work. Then I watched a couple of the TikToks & decided to check out the actual show. I binged them all!! I love Father Knows Something! I checked out a few of the podcasts recommended & love them (Total Crime Junkie now too). Some of the stories are so wild that I have shared some of them with coworkers & now we all talk about the show. Thank you Morgan, Justin, Alejandra, Lauren & Jerry for making such a highlight of my week! Also my mom got me special edition “Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark” from the scholastic book fair & looking back now… I don’t think I even finished any of them because they freaked me out 😂

Used to be good but too much talking
When the talking and comments are less about going off on tangents, it's good! I love hearing opinions about the stories. HOWEVER, another complaint is that Alejandra is always first to 'diagnose' an OP or character with narcissism, DID, or another disorder. I hate that she does that and is annoying the tangent ensues about her personal experiences. It's common for the hosts to use 'buzzwords' a lot when it's not necessary. Tbh I don't care about the latest narcissist in her life she last diagnosed. I wish Morgan would regulate the conversation more and therefore be able to add more stories instead of doing pt 1 and 2 OR listener write in episode and then Reddit episode on the same topic. It's totally fine to discuss your hot take, (literally the show) but come on, I'm not listening to hear about your personal lives. I'm sorry but not sorry - I don't care.

LOVE this show!

Wish there weren’t so many ads
I absolutely love this podcast, but there are so many ads that it becomes difficult to listen to. The flow of the podcast is harshly interrupted by the frequent ads. I understand needing to have ads for sponsors, I just wonder if they could be condensed into a singular ad read, rather than dispersed every few minutes.

Loved the disability episode but the medical model of disability is not inherently ableist!
As a disabled woman who listens to this podcast, I loved this episode and that you addressed the past use of the term differently abled! It was interesting to learn that OT and PT programs are pushing the term. The cohost was great but I do want to say that as someone who has also been involved in disability activism for the past 10 years, the medical model of disability is not inherently ableist. It can be ableist when it is the only model of disability considered or when it is inappropriately applied to certain groups of disabled people. But as someone who is disabled by a condition that causes severe chronic pain, the medical model of disability is definitely applicable to me. Many people in the chronic pain community believe that we need to make room for both the medical and social model of disability, and avoid applying either model universally. While the social model is important for understanding how a lack of accessibility is disabling, it’s important to note that the primary problem for some disabled people (i.e. those w/ chronic pain) is their body, regardless of environment. Edit: In regards to episode 44, I don’t think the girlfriend is the AH because food poisoning is a leading cause of kidney failure.

I normally don’t leave reviews… I just wanted to start out by saying that I love this podcast. I feel like I’m friends with all of you. And I love the time and effort that you put into each of your shows and how you make sure that even though listeners aren’t actually in the podcast studio with you, that you make sure we all feel like we are included. Great show! But episode #28 — the whole time I was listening to Morgan, Justin and Jerry, I couldn’t help but think that your dad (Jerry) must be so proud of you Morgan and so happy that you’ve found someone like Justin to support you and love you the way he does. I’ve been listening for years and haven’t missed an episode. I would always listen the day they were released. Lately, I have found myself putting them off until I’m really bored and need something to listen to. It’s been taking a while to get the point of stories and I understand some of the stories can be super emotional. But, Morgan’s crying and occasional whining voice makes me want to turn it off. Also, calling every kid in a story regardless of their age a “baaaaaaby” makes my blood boil. “Oh, he’s 10, he’s just a little baaaby.” Nope.

Used to love the podcast
I used to listen weekly and binge listened when I found the podcast! I really wish there were more stories involved. It also feels like things have taken a superrrrrrr political turn, which is what I avoid in podcasts. I love the show but you have to listen at 1.5x speed to get them talking at a normal conversation pace. I can’t explain it but listen at normal speed and then do 1.5x, it makes the show so much better. There’s just so much pause between all of them talking. Great show tho! I just have to speed it up!

Used to love this
I have listened since the beginning and used to LOVE this podcast. Now though, I feel like they are trying too hard and episodes have gotten long-winded. 2 hours for 4-5 stories is not it for me. Justin is extremely preachy, and overall I feel like episodes are full of disclaimers before they give their takes, and they talk in circles about a story. I wish Lauren and Alejandra were on more episodes as they still make it light-hearted and fun.

Absolutely Love This Podcast

I’ve been listening for over a year and I listen mainly in the car on my commute to and from work. I always have the same reaction as everyone else in the podcast and I’ll be thinking of a point of the post and they always cover my same point! I probably look crazy to other people driving around me bc I talk out loud as if Im apart of the podcast lol. The first time I listened with my sister on a long 12 hour car ride back home, and we talked like we were on the podcast. I love this podcast, people are so unhinged and cringy sometimes and you find the worst of the worst. Your the San Quentin of unhinged people on Reddit. It keeps me awake for my hour drives to drs etc. My 12 year old daughter loves it as well. Most of the time it is pretty good but sometimes it’s inappropriate. I try to be able to fast forward quickly but sometimes I can’t. So maybe if it’s a raunchier episode you could put that in the description? Regardless I will keep listening to you guys. Some of the guests are talkers so you don’t get as many hot takes! But I love you guys so much so please don’t take insult at my review! LOVE this podcast NOT for everyone
The people voting one stars lack empathy and honestly comedy. This is a hilarious podcast where Morgan can open the uncomfortable discussions (ie sex, poop, religion, etc) and if you can’t handle it, honestly f** off. Her stories are coming from REDDIT, so you can’t really be upset she’s mainly choosing stories that go popular on Reddit, which may include some weird topics. Morgan is very open minded, and yes, some guests aren’t as delightful as others- but you can’t really blame the host for someone else’s opinions. This podcast isn’t trash because of a few bad apples. Overall, Morgan will give representation to great topics and if you aren’t open to it, then this isn’t for you 🤷🏻♀️

Like the show but
I have mixed feelings about this show. Morgan says she is so upset people bully her for pronouncing things wrong, then insists that her version is right. It’s like she’s doing it on purpose! Also I don’t always love guest hosts- I hated the Olivia episode- I couldn’t finish it. Her immaturity was so Blatant, and I love how jaded she acts… she’s 22. How many life experiences could she have even had!? Sometimes the guests are not great and it overshadows Morgan as she matches their energy.

UPDATE: Good, but too close-minded
I was tolerating this show for a little bit longer, but cannot do it anymore. The constant bringing up of criticism towards Christianity is too much for me. Again, if you want to be open to all and not be critical of peoples’ RELIGIONS, then do so. This show is too hypocritical and I will have to stop listening for good. Also wayy too much side chatter away from the stories themselves.. It’s unfortunate how much this podcast has fallen off of its original upbringing. Start reading and taking your listeners constructive criticism before you lose them for good! og review: I love the show and hearing the bizarre stories that stop me in my tracks, but I find it off putting when political views are forcefully inputted. I appreciate the walking on eggshells around certain political topics, but why call out Christianity like it’s a bad thing? If you’re going to “respect” everyone’s views/religion, then do so. Don’t pick and choose who to discriminate.. It’s hypocritical.

I discovered this podcast in 2021 and let me just say that I have never looked forward to Thursdays more than I do now. Morgan and her co hosts are so funny and relatable, and seriously dish out the hottest takes. My boyfriend and I try to listen together and we’ve discovered more about ourselves and our thought processes due to this podcast. Every week I’m sure to have my jaw dropped, laugh so hard, and sometimes even cry. As a nursing student who is in my car 6/7 days a week, this podcast is definitely a must listen. What I need!
This podcast is so amazing. I first listened to it on my solo van road trip with my dog. I literally would gasp, laugh, cringe, ALL of the feelings while on the road. Felt like the "I needed a me day bc of all the mean comments" is very childish. This is your sole job and you are selling your product. Read the criticism and adjust. To manipulate people into leaving you good reviews bc they worry about your mental health. Let's not forget she keeps reading poop stories despite her reviewers saying they're tired of hearing about them. But yet she's too childish to fart in front of her boyfriend of 3 years. Original review: It has good content but like many others have said, the host Morgan is really hit and miss. So much crying. I'm all for being in touch with your emotions but good lord, I'm listening for entertainment not a sob fest. She repeatedly talks about her 6-figure student loan debt and her messy family. In almost every episode she brings it up. I feel a lot of her suggestions are a bit childish despite her being 28(?). I'm a 29F and I can't get over how annoying some of the things are. I also feel like she's not very nuanced or intelligent, as well as some of her friends. I can't count how many time after korgan tells the story and then the other hosts interpret what they heard and it's completely off. Like what? I do find it entertaining when the guest host has a differing opinions and Morgan bickers with them, despite them having valid points. Just the white privilege showing through I suppose. She has a lot of education but many of the things she says just completely baffle me. It bugs me that she says buying a house isn't something that people should aspire to despite her living with her dad and having her grandmother's house to move into when she wants it. I mostly just listen as a filler podcast in between my other podcasts that I'm up to date with. That way I don't get too annoyed very quickly.

Miss the OG episodes
I used to love this podcast, and I still listen from time to time, but will only listen to episodes that are with Justin, Lauren, and Alejandra. The Victoria Paris episode is what really shifted my opinion on this show. I’d seen it on other episodes, but Morgan conforms her opinions to whoever her (new) guest is. She’s mentioned before it’s awkward and scary to have guests she doesn’t know and I understand that, but if that is the case maybe she should stick with just Justin, Lauren, or Alejandra. Those are my favorite episodes, it’s clear they can give their true hot takes without feeling judged or awkward and it’s genuine. I would encourage people to listen, especially to the earlier episodes. As for me, I will be picking and choosing my episodes, and If it’s not an episode with Justin, Lauren, or Alejandra, I will be skipping it.

I think I just prefer when Morgan has her friends and family on instead of some TikTok influencer or comedian. I understand why it’s smart to collaborate with influencers but ehhh. My love for this group of people is unreal
I’ve been listening to the podcast for the last few months, and now that I am fully caught up I can say for sure that this podcast feels like you’re sitting with a group of friends having interesting discussions. It almost makes me sad that I can’t just pick up my phone and text them haha. Seriously, you guys are amazing and have helped me realize some things that I never noticed or thought about before listening to the show. Here’s to many more episodes and much more success! Annoying
Used to love it but Morgan just keeps getting more annoying. She ALWAYS comes off as a know-it-all for everything. And she says thing in a very matter-of-fact manner then stating that she’ll have to “fact check” herself. Also…the amount of times she has to mention she’s in the medical field or the word “gaslight” ICK. “I’m LiTerAlLy A dOcToR.”🙄🙄🙄 And keeps planning this imaginary wedding even though she’s not even engaged (Justin, if you’re reading this, RUN!) Lastly, they always seem to be doing the same stories as the Original AITA podcast only a week later. Booooooo

Listeners- Stop Taking Everything Personally
I LOVE this podcast. I have been a listener from the beginning and I, for one, really enjoy the evolution of the podcast! Most of the negative comments here are about not liking guests or about the hosts’ opinions, but everyone needs to stop and think why they do what they do. Your *passions should be crafted the way YOU want, and the listeners are not the ones who get to decide if Morgan grows and evolves her show. Art is subjective and people genuinely need to touch grass and stop taking somebody else’s projects/passions personally. Shocker- this podcast isn’t about you! Morgan- I love the way the podcast is moving! I loved the Victoria Paris episode, and love the duality between your friends and guests. Don’t stop doing what makes YOU proud!

Good stories, hard to listen to
I love the concept of this podcast and also love Morgan’s voice. The crude conversations and bashing of conservative values gets old though. I know most people aren’t fans of modesty but every episode Morgan’s sexual preferences are thrown in our ears. Just make a another podcast about strippers and sex.

I absolutely love this podcast and the Two Hot Takes girls! My sister shared this podcast with me a month ago and I have already binged all of the episodes - I’M OBSESSED. I work full remote and these wild stories keep me entertained all day and I feel like I could be BFFs with these girls! My only wish is that there were more episodes 😍 For the negative reviews complaining about not liking Morgan’s opinions… seriously? This is HER show about HER takes. You can disagree without saying such negative things about her in reviews. If you don’t like it find another show or challenge why you’re so triggered by opposing opinions! 🤎

Hard. I wanted to love it
It’s so hard for me because they can have such great takes at times. I tried to give another chance to this podcast after constant misgendering and the weird boundary take on the guy with the stripper bachelorette party and a few other instances…. But yikes on a recent episode about how amazing Kobe Bryant was. He may have been decent to his daughters, but that didn’t extend to other women at all. There just seems to be this vibe of seemingly progressive stances but not really. It seems like performative progressiveness. And to add to that performative, ears cropped on dogs? Really? Another yikes. Come on! Such a cosmetic garbage thing puppies have to endure

I feel conflicted…
Let me start off by saying, I am a firm believer in differing political opinions not being a make or break. I’m open to everyone having their own opinions, it’s the principal of Democracy and the beauty of FREEDOM. But… like another review said, I’m not okay with the spread of misinformation and lack of facts in recent episodes, I don’t like hearing misinformation being spread because THAT is damaging. I knew from the beginning we didn’t align in our politics, but it didn’t matter, because this show is all about it’s “unbiased opinions” that are truly not that unbiased. The last 2-4 episodes have been hard for me to want to continue listening. I used to literally crave Thursday’s for its release, but I can’t see myself continuing to listen if this is what it’s turned into.

I doubt Morgan, Lauren, Justin, Alejandra, Jerry will see this…but in the slim chance they do. To you all, I hope you know just how much this podcast and Father Knows Something mean to this midwestern woman. I have listened to you since the beginning and was ecstatic when Father Knows Something came out. I look forward every Tuesday & Thursday to listen to both. (Yes, I know this is a review for THT.) I work a dull 8-5 job and live with my boyfriend and three cats. Everyday when I stand for hours lifeless, at the copier machine or I sit at my desk aimlessly filling out paperwork I smirk and laugh to myself listening to this podcast. I love hearing about you guys. Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion but please do an episode about yourselves (if you’re comfortable). We want to know you better. I enjoy the laughter and hearing about your experiences. It’s comforting. You guys could talk about anything and I would listen at this point. It breaks my heart to see the negativity you all receive on the podcast when you’re just giving YOUR honest opinion and doing something you enjoy. Everyone will have those that disagree with them and dislike the work they are doing. It’s unavoidable. However, just remember how much your podcast means to hundreds of thousands of people. There may be times I disagree with the opinions given on the show but all it does is make me think more. It makes me question why I believe what I do about certain situations and question the thought process of the other side. I better understand an opinion that is not my own. I hope that those who dislike the podcast simply on the grounds of a differing opinion open their mind and hearts to learning and understanding others better. Not ONCE have any of the creators of this podcast relayed any sort of bigotry or prejudiced opinions. There is NOTHING wrong with them simply giving their opinion on situations. If you don’t agree then LISTEN and UNDERSTAND why. Please Morgan, Justin, Lauren, Alejandra & dad Jerry keep your head up! Know you have your fans that adore you.

Frequent Cringe Breaks
I used to love this podcast, but now it’s tough to make it through and entire episode in one listen. Between Justin, the recent guest, and comments that make me lose brain cells- it’s TOUGH. 1. I hope Morgan keeps this her thing instead of letting Justin make it about him 2. I miss when it was just Morgan and her friends but understand the pod needs guest. Just different ones please!

Jumping to conclusions
I really wish I loved listening as much as I used to but I feel like after every story all I hear is such crazy extreme judgment. The episodes with the therapist were so great because he gave perspective but I hear no perspective anymore other than viciously attacking someone after only hearing OP’s side of the story. The switched at birth story from It ain’t adding up is a perfect example.

The episode with Victoria was truly awful. She came across as extremely sexist while trying to defend women. She did not have a single good thing to say. I understand these are supposed to be hot takes… but she went way beyond that point.

My new favorite podcast!
I love this podcast! I discovered their tiktoks and have been hooked since! Morgan’s voice is incredibly soothing and I love the stories. I wish I knew them in real life they all seem like such sweet and down to earth people💛 Out of all the pods I have listened to, this one is by far the most entertaining and has brought up some good topics of discussion for my boyfriend and I. The only thing that bugs me is I wish their intro song was a real song because it goes HARD! It would be an amazing Post Malone song.

Criticism isn’t always bad!
Listen, I love the podcast, I look forward to it every week and it’s my favorite Reddit/advice type podcast! Thank being said, it really bothers me how resistant Morgan is to constructive criticism and advice. There are aspects of the pod that could improve which would make things even better, but she seems so insecure she won’t even read reviews or comments! I just wish it was more about the stories, less about trying to spew random facts that end up being wrong, and is just people chatting and having fun! Having this kind of platform demands innovation and improvement and it’s not bad to try to keep getting better!

LOVE
I absolutely ADORE this podcast. I am a full-time remote employee so it’s a huge bonus for me that the episodes are so long. Listening to podcasts is all I can do to keep my sanity and not feel so isolated. I love podcasts that feel like a conversation and the Reddit stories / write ins are so wild they make for great conversation with other friends who also listen. Also perfect for road-trips or the drives to work. While some topics and stories have been heavy, the podcast as a whole isn’t doom and gloom, which can be a much needed escape these days.

I normally love the show but on the “it doesn’t add up” episode hearing Alejandra talk about buying a dog from a breeder and getting their ears cropped - UGH. Admitting to cruelty towards an animal in such a flippant way while passing judgement on other people - get your life together. You live in LA where hundreds of thousands of dogs are killed every year? You sound so ignorant.

New favorite
I used to listen to another advice style podcast but over time it’s evolved into a super political show and it gives me anxiety now. I share most liberal views but I don’t need them shoved down my throat in every situation to reinforce “radical” virtues, and I feel like this show is so much more balanced. Their conversations are meaningful and I feel like I can relate to the host as an adhd haver/socially neurodivergent person. Also as an avid Reddit reader myself I love the insane prompts. Listen to it every day at work now and love it!

I used to LOVE this podcast. I couldn’t wait to listen on Thursdays mornings on my way to work. I’ve been with it since the beginning. However, lately there is no neutrality AT ALL. It’s all one sided and feels so political. This past episode was DISGUSTING. First of all, who even was that? She kept saying how famous/successful she was, but I have never heard of her. This episode felt like an attack on heterosexual couples. (I am a huge supporter of the LGBTQ+ community) I gave the extra star because I truly did find this podcast amazing at one point.

I was loving the show until recently…
I was binge listening this whole weekend and was totally loving the podcast. Until I listened to an episode where I felt they could’ve approached it differently. I was a nanny and preschool/infant teacher for 7-8 years. I do agree that there’s horrid stories out there in regards to both fields, there’s still wonderful Nannie’s out there. Parents just need to reach out to references and take their precautions. They touch base on how people are better off with family. Well that’s no always the case Morgan, there’s been family members who take advantage of the opportunity. Many go unreported. My family unfortunately have been victims of those family members that watched them. I think you could’ve been more cautious in that episode and spoken with more respect when talking about SIBS. I did take this episode a little more personal because as an ex nanny I know there is good Nannie’s out there better than family members.

Cant Keep Neutality
I loved this podcast, was an avid listener, and always recommended to my friends. After the episode with Victoria Paris, I was completely disgusted with her comments. Morgan can’t even keep her own viewpoints and changes them to match the guest which is truly sad. Pan sexuality should be the default? excuse me no. I have the right to my own sexuality too. Men shouldn’t be models bc it’s “female field”? That’s sexist. Ridiculous.

Love the original format
I’ve loved the original format of this podcast and recommended it to so many friends. Love Morgan and Justin and their friends and dad they have on regularly! My only criticism is that lately the show has gotten a bit political - specifically with the Victoria episode. I’m all for women empowerment, but I felt like that episode took things a little too far. Please go back to keeping things neutral and providing your unbiased opinions. Love the show still!

Victoria Paris as a guest SUCKED
I love this podcast (I’d give it 5 stars) this is for the most recent episode with Victoria Paris. I don’t know who this guest is but she came off so whiny and boring. I listen to this podcast for fun entertainment but she gave none of that. Her response to each Reddit story was so monotone, negative, and then political. Even Morgan seemed like she had to walk on eggshells around her. There was no genuine laughter or flow of conversation. Please Two Hot Takes don’t let people like her ruin your show

Fav pod! Note for Ep 73
This is one podcast that I have loved since joining late on and going back and listening to all the previous podcasts! Don't ever want this podcast to stop being made! Just started Father Knows Something and loving that too. My one concern that annoyed me a little from Ep 73 that Victoria had said. I understand and can be sympathetic to the wage gap but in her explaining the situation was annoyed with financial insecurities of men feeling like they need to pay for whatever the reason may be, but then says even though there is a wage gap, men still need to pay. That concept and statement feeds the insecurity even more and was contradictory to her whole argument in the first place. Alright everyone enjoy this podcast and I will take my bar of soap and stop doing box jumps!

My favorite podcast
I ran into this podcast through tiktok and was instantly OBSESSED. I have heard every single episode and most of them they come out. I literally count down the days for another episode to be released. In my opinion, I love the personal stories and experiences added during the episodes. I love to hear you and your family/friends and random stuff because it makes me feel like I’m part of it and not just some stranger eavesdropping on a conversation lol. Some other reviews have mentioned that they don’t like this, and that’s okay, it’s not for everyone! If someone just wants to hear the story and comments read to them, they should just stick to reading them straight off of Reddit and avoid the podcast, because that’s not the point of this podcast 🤷🏽♀️ the one thing I do agree on that you might want to be careful with is when discussing current political views, as often times people don’t take that well, and many of us use this podcast to escape the real world. Other than that the podcast is perfect in my opinion!

Don’t listen to naysayers - thought provoking and entertaining!
To Morgan or anyone who may read this: I have so enjoyed this podcast over the past 6 months. It has gotten me through everything from quarantining at home for 10 days to countless hours in the field working on a farm. You guys do such a great job discussing a wide variety of topics and I really appreciate the range of perspectives you guys bring on! To those who don’t enjoy Morgan and others giving their two cents and sharing their experiences: It’s an opinion-based-podcast 🙄. If you want facts and statistics you can find that somewhere else! If you don’t like their opinions you don’t have to listen - the format has pretty much always worked this way. I do agree with some in saying that the topics have gotten a little heavy as of late when it used to be more light-hearted. But it really doesn’t bother me so much because most episodes feature a mix of both. Anyways, I just want to acknowledge the time and energy you guys have put into this show. It is definitely a positive addition to my work-week and I really enjoy listening. I hope you are able to ignore the negative comments and keep doing what you’re doing. I think vast majority of your listeners would agree!

Amazing Podcast
Started listening to this podcast about a month and a half ago and I can’t stop! Whether it is the host Morgan with her friends Alejandra and Lauren or her boyfriend Justin or her dad, they always bring such a wonderful and unique energy to truly baffling stories. Morgan’s maturity and emphasis on solving situations, not just critiquing them, creates a welcoming environment, in which their main goal is resolution not conflict (unless they truly deserve it)! I hope Morgan never stops making these podcast, but specially with her friends. I honestly can’t recommend this enough! :)

Fabulous podcast
I literally cannot stop binging these episodes. The host Morgan is clearly incredibly authentic. She is willing to share her highs and lows. Also, she has lived so many lives while still being so young. She’s explored so many career paths, which makes her wise beyond her years. As a nearly 21 year old, I love hearing such genuine advice on a variety of topics. She also includes wonderful cohosts (my favorites being her dad and boyfriend Justin) who she always has incredible dialogue and chemistry with. Easy to listen to and makes me laugh daily. This is so much more than a podcast. It’s connection to a community. Each week my friends and I listen to this podcast and then get together to discuss and talk. Morgan your openness and emotional maturity has helped me be more open about myself and recognize toxic relationships. I’m 36 and for the first time in my life I feel heard and seen not only by the stories but by your advice! You are a godsend and a beacon to people everywhere! Brightens my day
Whether they’re infuriating stories or heartfelt ones, listening to this podcast is like having a conversation with friends. I’m a stay at home mom with little social interaction, and some days the only adult “conversations” I have are my own thoughts chiming in along with Morgan and her co-hosts/guests. I’ve been dealing with heavy depression and anxiety postpartum and have really needed the mental break this podcast brings. On the most recent episode, Morgan mentioned taking a break due to harsh reviews to which I say, there’s many more of us out here that are big fans but just haven’t reviewed yet. Please keep it up, there’s people out here that need our unmet friends in our ear buds while we do dishes and wipe baby bottoms. Love, SAHM Steph

Forever fan
I started listening when two hot takes was on episode 12 and have been hooked ever since. I remember when I first started listening to the podcast I would replay the first could episodes because of how obsessed I was. Now I look forward to listening every Friday as a way to detach from work. I love Morgan, justin, and all their friend! I will for sure listen to anything she comes out with<3

I love THT!! I feel like Morgan, Justin, Alejandra, and Lauren are bonus besties to me, even though I don’t actually know them. Every week I look forward to a new episode, hearing updates on all the host’s lives, and a little dose of drama. I also found this show while I was on maternity leave with my first newborn. I was struggling with postpartum depression/anxiety, and ADHD. Morgan’s openness about her mental health gave me the strength to ask for help. In some ways I guess this show saved my life.

I have listened to every episode and absolutely love your naturally soothing and perfect podcast voice and ability to read so seamlessly. I appreciate Morgan giving others the opportunity to read stories and have input- but for the love of god- please stop letting Justin read. It is painful listening to him force out each word.

This is my absolute favorite podcast! I listened to it for seven hours straight on a ride back to Vegas and it made time fly. I felt so many things. It makes you laugh it makes you cry and boy it can make you angry! I love the updates and I love the themed episodes. I love how personable this all feels and I love Morgan I want to be friends with her and I love her dad and I love Justin I love everyone on the show. It is the best part of my week! I hate to hear that she’s getting discouraged over a couple bad reviews Because this is literally the only fun podcast I listen to anymore. It has ruined me for all other podcasts!! A lot of black and white thinking
Updated review: RE: Morgan needs to take a week off for “Self-Care” cuz bad reviews. Firstly, this feels like some weird guilt trip for the listeners, trying to manipulate people into not saying anything “bad” about you. A podcast is a product that you put out into the world to be consumed. All consumable products will have reviews. There will never be 100% positive reviews. This particular podcast is also heavy with moralistic judgments, which will inherently invite listeners to analyze you through the same lens. The difficult aspect of the product you’re offering is that your self image is wrapped up in it, so it affects you deeply and personally, but if you are going to be a professional… and also successful… you need to find a way to hear the critiques and also buffer them. Have an intern read the reviews and distill them down into their most useful observations - minus anything that may feel like a personal insult. I guarantee you - your form is not perfect, so not reading reviews seems like a bad idea from a business perspective. Listen to the audience! But also keep your integrity. It’s a tough balance. I think people take on money making endeavors like making podcasts because they seem “easy” but when you bump up against the reality that your work is being judged at large most will crumble and quit. So you wanna crumble because people think you sound silly and laugh at your lack of pronunciation skills and vocabulary knowledge? That’s fine, you can do that… OR… you can acknowledge that you still have plenty to learn, and even with the imperfections you’ve created something most people are enjoying… if you keep growing and getting better you can build something really great and learn not to take the criticism so to heart. Just my two cents. _____Original Review ____ The podcast is “fun” so it keeps you coming back for the sensational aspect, but overall it’s very reductive in the way the hosts speak about and judge other people…. It’s often fairly inflammatory based on what little “evidence” they have after reading a post. Words like monster, narcissist, trash person and the like are thrown around fairly regularly. After reading a couple paragraphs on Reddit are you really qualified to say such a thing? They def seem very young and anecdotal in their opinions… like, “I read a book in college that said such and such a thing and now I’m kinda an authority on the subject.” I’m sure they will cringe at their words in a decade…. Overall, meh. Maybe better off just reading the subreddit on your own instead of hearing their short-sighted and immature takes. (and P.S. there ain’t a more “pick me girl” statement than, “omg I loooove going to strip clubs!”)

Decent show but need more diversity
You guys are funny and nice to listen too but a lot of your takes come from a very privileged background. It would be nice to have some guests that were a little more diverse and from a different background. Nothing to takeaway from what you guys do right now, but I think it would enhance and give more well rounded takes.

This show is AMAZING Morgan & whoever is cohosting do an amazing job of saying what’s already on all of our minds, and truly giving multiple hot takes on the same potentially controversial topic. I listen to this show constantly! in the car, at work, at home. It brings my man and i together at night after a long day, we will put it on and sit in silence until one of us has to reach over and pause the show so we can discuss without missing a second. I’ve put multiple friends (podcast junkies) onto this show and now they are hooked too. Morgan’s voice is so soothing, you feel like you’re sitting with friends while listening. A single episode never fails to make me laugh, gasp, and shed a tear.

Perspective
Love this podcast! I like listening to a multi-perspective view of someones real life situation and how the hosts and the guests would react. I listen at work and find myself in either nodding my head viciously or wishing I could phone in and share my take! Such interesting stories and an awesome cast of people :) and to commenters who say this podcast is “too political”- change doesn’t come from turning a blind eye to injustice. These hosts are merely being advocates for cause they believe in, and there is no need to chastise them for having an opinion.

Love this podcast! Look forward to it every week! Wish the episodes didn’t end! They’re so good! Morgan is a great host - insightful, balanced and empathetic while challenging others views in a constructive way! Her guests are great - love her dad, boyfriend and brother/sister in law most, but they’re all fantastic honestly. Enjoyed having the therapists on! Thank you for being truly human and open with us - including your feelings after Roe v wade reversal. So many are hurting and discouraged and it helps to know we aren’t alone!

I look forward to every Thursday morning!! I listen to it when I’m getting ready for work. I appreciate all the hard work you put into this show, Morgan, and keep doing what you’re doing. The influx of negative reviews fail to understand that people are entitled to their own opinions, especially since you and several of your co-hosts are young women who are impacted by recent events. It’s baffling to see reviews complaining about you getting “political” when the show already covers controversial topics. Women’s rights are not political. Again, love the show and I’m proud + astounded of all the effort put into it.

I am so picky about the podcast that I listen to that I only listen to one other podcast than this one 😂 I think the stories are always well picked out and the responses are so well said and spoken. Often times they bring up points that I didn’t even think of in response to the situations. Sometimes I’ll be on the opposite end but then they make me realize that there’s another side to the story and I honestly feel like listening kind of makes me a better person. Like it holds true that there’s always two sides of a story and being an outsider we all have different opinions on the outcome of the stories like the ones that Morgan reads. I highly suggest listening to this podcast. I love that there’s no background music so I can just listen to the stories and the banter. I love that the ads are typically short and sweet so you’re not listening to three minutes of ads in one sitting. And honestly I would listen to three hours of this podcast in one go if they would make an episode that long!

I rarely leave reviews for any content I consume (usually because I just don’t care enough lol), but I LOVE this podcast! Honestly, when I first started watching right when they started, I wasn’t totally sold. But I kept listening and I watched this podcast grow and increase in quality exponentially… And soon enough I found myself tuning in every week! Of course I’m never gonna 100% agree with all of their opinions, but that’s why they’re “hot takes”!! Overall I love putting this podcast on while I work, cook or game, and it’s always an interesting listen. And some people don’t like how they bring politics into it, but I quite enjoy it! I love story telling podcasts and this is the best one I’ve found so far. There is minimal banter, enough to keep the mood light, but I love that the hosts don’t ramble on about their own lives for 30 minutes before getting into the stories like I’ve heard on other podcasts. They pick a good variety of stories to discuss, and I also appreciate that they organize the stories by theme for each episode.

Two or Three Compassionate Takes
Something about this podcast is extremely validating. I often find myself really empathizing and feeling a certain way about the stories and people in them. And to hear Morgan and her guest really validate the way I would feel empathetically, really resonates with me. When my friends come to me with an issue, I sometimes even think, “how would Morgan break down the nuances of this situation” how can I be compassionate listener? How can I validate what I’m hearing? What stance, or take should? I feel this podcast explores social situations, uses the power of reddit, and gives a voice to exactly what I would be feeling too. Morgan and Justin, and friends- I look forward to you every week. I find it cathartic. Thank you for this.

Used to love buuut…
Used to love this podcast for the funny & entertaining stories that helped tune out some of the stress of the day. But recently this podcast has gotten so preachy & political, I have a hard time enjoying myself. Not sure if Morgan is losing direction with the podcast or what but everyone on it seems jaded and spreads misinformation. Probably don’t tell your audience to do their research when you’re clearly not. Leave the politics out of the episode if you can’t be unbiased and are uninformed

I used to like this show but not so much anymore
I quickly became a fan of this show early on because I love podcasts that revolve around Reddit stories. But as time went on, the show became a bit annoying. It’s clear that the hosts (and sometimes the guests) have limited views and have such clear cut opinions. Sometimes it isn’t fun to hear them ramble on for too long, especially as they reiterate the same point over and over again. I wish they could handle criticism better and not feel as if their audience is just being mean or haters. I tried to keep up and listen every week, but I can no longer do that. I hope them the best and maybe I’ll return to listening if it improves.

i look forward to listening every week and enjoy the pod but morgan, i wish you would stop using the term “enmeshment” for every example of crossing family boundaries and do research on attachment styles and family relationships. the term “enmeshment” has been dropped too many times to count in situations that are the furthest thing from that.

I enjoy this podcast but the comments add more to the conversation vs pulling from “experience” every time (btw y’all can’t always have an experience that relates better than those commenting)… the comments are usually very thought out & restate important points y'all might miss. It adds so much more to the conversation & I absolutely despise when a comment is brought into the conversation but is never read because y’all forget bc of long winded tangents. Thank you!
