Mother jumps out of window after killing her 3 children episode
First off our mental health system FAILED her. The state of Massachusetts failed her. That is who is responsible. She didn't just have postpartum depression , she had postpartum PSYCHOSIS. BIG difference. HUGE difference. Her kids where her WORLD, her EVERYTHING. In her psychosis state of mind she had NO IDEA what she had done. She should have NEVER been sent home, she should have been in a hospital type facility where she should have had 24 hour watch and care. Because our mental health system is a mess to say the least, she was sent home and was doing a intake care. This should have never happened.... again, OUR STATE, OUR MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM needs to take RESPONSIBILITY. The "professionals" that evaluated her, that made the decision to allow her to go home should be held accountable. The "professionals " that put these guidelines in place need to be held accountable.

These are no laughing matters
I really like the podcast But the woman post needs someone to sit her down and tell her to stop laughing at the cases they are not funny she is not funny. Iâd like the man host better. He is much more respectful than her. She really needs to get a grip these cases are no laughing matter if I wanted to listen to a crime comedy podcast I would go elsewhere because there is so many of them. also she laughs at her own jokesâŠsheâs not a funny person these arenât funny situations. stop. for example the fit bits murder a woman was murdered by her husband on Christmas while her children were at school and she was laughing at what the man did and said she needed to open a bottle of wine how disgusting to laugh at that absolutely disgusting

I just absolutely love love love Ana Garcia! I have always liked her but listening to her podcast on YouTube has made me fall in love. She does such a great job with the stories and is a huge crime narrator on big channels but she doesnât just do it for a paycheck. She clearly loves what she does. Super annoying at times
The content of this show is usually very good. The show is often well researched with details making it an upgrade from many âtrue crimeâ podcast that seem to get their details from news reports and little else with no real effort, however the host is often wicked annoying. She cackles and if youâre listening via AirPods as I often am youâll suffer some ear injury. She is often just down right annoying luckily she has good guest so thereâs thatâŠ

I really love the hosts and the way they approach the stories. BUT I almost canât listen to a full episode because she smacks her lips and swallows her spit into the mic SO LOUDLY. This happens wayyy too much and it seems like sheâs doing it consciously as punctuation and accent. itâs annoying and ridiculous to not be aware how irritating it is to hear that for an hour long episode.

Ana is Insensitive, tone deaf
I found Ana Garcia as a host to be incredibly distasteful. She seems to be trying hard to be Nancy Grace-ish and comes across very insensitive and borderline crass. It really gave me a bad feeling. Also she talks as though sheâs an expert about things, like the foster care system, but she clearly had no idea what she was talking about. Fortunately her guest did, but Ana came across as an under informed and insensitive. Iâm always looking for true crime podcasts but Iâll pass on this one

Tone down the cackling
I understand the host is trying to express when things are funny or donât make sense or a perpetrator did something stupid but somehow the way she does it is really inappropriate. I listen to dark humor True crime podcast where there is cussing and dark humor and they seem to do it in a classier way. I think the way Ana does it it comes across that she has a little bit of a snotty attitude rather than a humorous one. I think that might rub people the wrong way it comes across very judgey and gossipy. Just trying to be helpful Iâm sure itâs difficult to do a podcast BUT this needs some fine-tuning it makes me cringe And comes across as insensitive.

Great show overall (not a fan of Josh Jacksonâs guest appearances)
I really like Ana Garciaâs reportingâshe sticks to the facts, but peppers it with sassy and often astute commentary. Sheâs sounds passionate about what she does, and sheâs also notably appreciative and respectful of her guest speakers. The only drawback for me are they episodes with Josh Jacksonâhe goes on and on saying the same thing in seventeen different ways to the point where his words lose all meaning. Itâs painful. Aside from that, TCD is one of my go-to podcasts that I look forward to listening to each week.

R Kelly is Garbage
I absolutely love this show but this interview was not it. I understand seeing the other side but there was absolutely no challenge to what his defense attorney was saying. Itâs really sad that this platform was used to make people feel bad for R Kelly because heâs a horribly manipulative person. Theres video of him raping an underage girl so I have no sympathy for him. The fact that his attorney is claiming heâs a great guy regardless of the âstuff that happened in the pastâ is beyond disgusting. Platforms like these need to do better because we should believe victims.

Go Charlie gooooo! Ohh my gosh, my â€ïž! Iâm totally disgusted with how that principle handle this entire tragedy! If a principal of a school can not address the actions of his students we have a serious problem! I would of lost control and the way Charlieâs mom handled herself is admirable. now we can understand why Charlie is as strong, well rounded and courageous as she is!!! That girl that did this to Charlie needs a lot of help! The principal turning a blind eye to this is exactly why this child is like this! The problem doesnât go away bc we pretend not to notice it! Hey Charlie.. you started a movement kiddo! Only your bravery has led this road for accountability and call for change! I adore you Anna! Victim Blaming and Justifications for Offenders
Unfortunately, I could hardly tolerate listening to two episodes before having to stop listening despite the content. She had victim blamed against parents who suffered from mental illnesses. Furthermore, she justified assault from a man against a woman. I found the hostâs bias extremely distasteful and unprofessional. Victim blaming and stigma against mental illnesses is BEYOND morbid. A woman NEVER deserves to be beaten to unconsciousness, no matter the offenderâs occupation.

How is this pod still airing?
Huge true crime pod fan here. Iâve given this podcast so many chances (personally, yâall may feel differently and I wonât object) but the fact that the host laughs at the most unfortunate circumstances and treats these events as mere âpod fodderâ makes me cringe. There are true crime comedy pods that donât make the tragedy the punchline, they tell the story in ways that are respectful and honor the victims. That isnât the case for True Crime Daily. I donât think that TCD is attempting to be a true crime comedy pod, but, hopefully incidentally, the amount of inappropriate laughter is simply a personality trait of the host. I am just, all around, turned off by this pod.

Completely Lazy and Uninformed
I would hope that someone with a true crime podcast who brags about all the work sheâs done on TV would have the slightest knowledge of how trials are conducted and how evidence and the constitution work. Gave this podcast 3 chances and every single episode I heard had either the host, a guest, or both make completely uninformed, brain dead comments about a case and what certain things may mean in court or how they may impact a trial. From my experience this is just a hangout session between an uninformed, lazy TV personality and her friends. Itâs way more speculative than informative, which means no one involved does any research other than the idiotic section where they read internet comments. Not worth the time.

Too political, I donât care how you feel.
I just want the facts reporter, it isnât enjoyable to listen to you use other peopleâs tragedy to push your anti gun propaganda. Criminals have weapons, guns protect as well, you just want rich ppl to have guns and guards. Well itâs in our constitution to be able to have them, go to another country if you donât like our constitutional right to bear arms. It is increasingly hard to listen to ppl preach at you that their opinions are facts, they arenât. They acted upset by the gun emoji, really? As a victim of a horrible crime, I stand with other victims in protecting the innocent. Not everyone lives within 10 even 30 minutes of a sheriff. First and last episode
Listened to the episode about the sorority, thought it had real promise. Until I listened to the host discuss the dad killing his son, and described both parents as having squandered the last years with him. This really disgusted me. Whatever may have happened in the divorce no living and mourning mother should have to hear a host criticize her in this way. Whatever your stance is on vaccines, I am sure we can all agree that the father killing the son proves this mother had every reason to fight for custody. The host was callous in her description, and I am too disgusted with her to continue listening. I will stick with dateline and other true crime podcasts that have more sympathy for the families of victims.

Perfect podcast for me!
I listen to podcasts at work and this one is definitely in my top three favorites. Other reviewers claimed the audio is loud, I have listened to almost every episode and donât find this to be true. Other reviewers have complained about the hosts saying âumâ and âuhâ a lot and I donât find that to be a problem at all either (because Iâm not a jerk). Anyways, Iâm a true crime junky so this podcast is perfect for a weirdo like me. Also, I love Ana Garcia, sheâs an inspiration to young girls who are interested in working in the criminal justice system!

One sided....
Seriously?! I kept waiting for the other side to be presented in the Tiger King episode. Please see the court cases listed on a statement from Big Cat Rescue. There is more to Caroleâs defense of herself than she just denies it. Whatever people choose to believe is their business but make sure all the available facts are presented.

Uh um uh uh uh uh ... I CAN NOT!
Itâs unfortunate but I had to stop listening. I can not stand the stuttering of the host. You can tell itâs not a speech impairment type of stutter...which I can deal with. This is just speaking without thinking! I enjoy Ana but will be unsubscribing immediately!!!!!

What happened?
This show has tanked. Get back to BIlly. These two are awful, talking over one another, louder than each other, opinions that play no bearing on the story. Youâre losing us.

No co host
Itâs just my opinion but I feel the show would be so much better and flow so much better if you just reported on the stories yourself and didnât have a commentator there along side of you. I think you are great and enjoy listening to you and the way in which you tell the information. Your cohosts or guest have made me want to change the channel. But you keep up the great work...Iâm still here!

Banter
I love the banter of the hosts. I saw the prior comments and understand what some complaints are. But I like the difference between this podcast and some other podcasts on iTunes. The banter is a nice change because itâs easy to just read up on a crime but hearing other opinions of others is kind of eye opening. Love it!

Victim blaming and misogyny
Half way in and this milquetoast guy starts blaming a murdered mother for her death. Turns out if she had âtold him more gently that she wanted to break upâ he wouldnât have killed her, her two related women and stolen their newborn baby! Thanx! Any advice for the murderous SOB who did all the murdering, baby stealing, etc?

New Host
I absolutely hate the new host. Bring back the old host. This women has said so many things that is just mind boggling. I used to love this podcast but she needs to go. One thing that she did that was interesting to me was talking about domestic violence were a man is the victim she was saying it like it just wasnât possible at all. I liked the old host because he didnât connect everything back to him. EVERYTHING she says has to come back to her. âI did a case like thatâ âI used to live thereâ like ok????????? UNSUBSCRIBED. Let me know when Billy gets back

Boot the female
The show was way better before the new female host came on. What happened?! This was my favorite podcast. Before the new female host was added I would listen and wait for these podcasts to come out. I hate to be rude but she is obnoxious and gives off a hard tone. Please fix this, I havenât been able to finish a podcast since she started...

Sheâs not necessary
Love the podcast and the stories. But tbh, the female host is pretty obnoxious with her random comments. She doesnât really add to the conversation in a beneficial way. Every time I hear her start to talk over the other host/guest it makes me cringe. Maybe she should stick to writing, because she doesnât have a enjoyable radio voice.

True Crime Daily
I just downloaded your podcast last night and I will discard it today. The first one I heard, was entirely a tirade against guns. I have had guns in my home all of my life. Your inane statement was that guns were more likely to be used if they were in the house, really???? Check Kennesaw, Georgia every able bodied head of household, is required by law to own a gun. There has been one homicide there in the last 40 years. No home invasions, hmmmm. Then your next story is about someone strangling someone and then dismembering the victim, so,,,, I guess we should outlaw hands and knives. Goodbye

Too much gun control mumbo jumbo
Host was pretty clear on his opinion on gun control and is clearly ill informed Iâve grown up in an area where almost everyone has a gun thereâs like really low violence here and know a few families including mine that have owned guns for generations and have never had any gun related violence. And as far as suicides go if there that desperate there going to do it anyway they can whether they have access to a gun or not.

Uh, uh, uh, uh, ummm .... nuh-uh.
I wanted to love this but I couldnât because both hosts say âuhâ every few seconds. Even when reading from notes or a script, there are still so many uhs that it is distracting. I would like to comment on the content but I honestly donât know what they said other than uh, bla bla bla, uh bla bla, uh bla, bla bla bla uh bla.

I heard the first episode and will never listen again. They seemed to victim blamed one of the mothers who is missing. They also commented on a convicted womanâs appearance and made fun No need-even if sheâs a terrible person. They seem misogynistic and I wonât listen.

Disappointed
I just listened to the first 2-3 episodes that are on Spotify and am thoroughly disappointed. The cases they cover are interesting but they referred to the Chris Watts case as a âcrime of passion.â Now this may have been recorded before all of the facts were released but still a heart wrenching thing to hear on a true crime podcast. Then, they say in another episode that âthe weed is a lot stronger now...â referring to a case of a man confessing to breaking into a house to smoke marijuana and discovering a tiger. Insert eye roll. Stopped listening immediately after. I regret continuing to listen after the Chris Watt reference. I feel that this podcast will only continue to be insensitive to victims. Lost a listener in me.

Owen Michael is probably a very intelligent and interesting person, but his constant umm-ing and uhh-ing is so distracting that I can't listen to the podcast. He even does it when he's reading verbatim from his iPad. It would be useful for Owen to see a speech therapist.
