I LOVE THIS PODCAST!!!
This podcast is so good!! I love all the interviews and the news and just the general enthusiasm of the hosts. I’m a highschool girl who loves reading comics all day and prattling on about what makes Loki an antihero rather than a villain, and explaining the concept of Kang the Conqueror to my mom, and talking on and on with one of my best friends about where the MCU might be headed and how the comics will influence its future. So, basically, I’m a nerd. And I love listening to other nerds, Ryan and Lorraine, talk just as excitedly as I do about all this nerd stuff. It makes my day. Heck, it makes my week. Keep up the great work, and after Loki Season 2 comes out, please bring Tom Hiddleston back for another interview. Loki is my favorite character, by far, and I love the way Tom Hiddleston portrays him on screen. And I love hearing about his shared love of Loki. Until Lorraine despises Squirrel Girl, Make Mine Marvel! -Carol

Awesome podcast! Listening over a year first time reviewing.
I’ve been a fan of Ryan’s for quite a long time but had not listened to this podcast to just about a year ago. I have bern a fan of Marvel Comics since I was 10 years old (I am now 58), so I had read many of the classic titles from the early 70’s on up, but I seriously began collecting after my 13th birthday. I look forward each week to the TWIM podcast. I love most the banter between Ryan & Lorraine and the knowledge of Marvel that they both possess. One of my favorite interviews was with George R. R. Martin. To find out that he was inspired by Marvel Comics, that as a young lad, he actually sent letters to his favorite titles that actually got published made me feel great as I used to read the letters section all the time. It’s also a treat when Tucker Marcus joins in the podcast as he also brings very good insight to the show snd I love when Ryan and Tucker discuss wrestling and have some excellent interviews with WWE superstars! This podcast keeps me up to date for everything Marvel, from the Books, to the TV shows, to the MCU. Definitely the best Marvel podcast to listen to! Please keep up the podcast well beyond episode 1,000. Ryan, Lorraine, Tucker you are the best! It’s ok to read this on the show, in fact, I would be so elated if it was read. I’ve been listening to This Week In Marvel for a while, and I must say it is one of the finest podcasts for marvel fans anywhere in the internet. Penagos and Cink are the perfect hosts. Charismatic, funny, and passionate about marvel, they set the mood perfectly for each and every episode. Marvel & Mutants
Kateybug323, that’s great that you love Marvel comics. I’m almost 29 and I am a huge fan of Marvel, so from one fan to another I say “Hello!” (Funny tidbit my closest friend is a massive DC fan so yeah, talks about comics is not a fun thing when you have no clue what they are talking about.😁) Why are some people questioning if Marvel will introduce them into the MCU? They have already done so with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Or are they referring to characters from X-Men? Cause I’m a bit confused about who is going to be useable. If they stick with the current timeline version of X-Men, then it wouldn’t be the ones we’ve come to know. Wolverine (weapon X) is dead as are the rest of the original ones. I could see using the next generation, X-23 and the others as well as possibly New Mutants. Otherwise I feel like they’re screwed. Any thoughts? Let me know.

I really wanna like this show as an insider’s look at what’s happening at Marvel, but the host waaaaay over-hypes everything he talks about. Every writer is the greatest. Awful Awful Awful Audio-
The voices often sound distant from the microphone and it's hard to listen to in earphones. The sad part is that this has been going on a long time and people often complain yet the hosts refuse to try to fix the issue... I love everything else about the podcast though and will listen more if they fix the audio issues.

Great show about everything Marvel. This was a huge help for getting me back into comics. The TWIMURC is a brilliant idea. Bought many a book that I never would have because of the great recaps by Agent M and Ben J. Morse. Great chemistry between this tag team and their counters on the West Coast. High recommendation from me.

BAD audio quality!!
You would thing that after over 200 episodes they would have figured out how to properly record human speech. Almost every episode has some kind of issue, either periodic buzzing that makes it impossible the hear anything to what seems like 4 people sitting around one mic. Also there are times when one person is very loud while the other seems like they are recording from the moon!!! All this makes me wonder if they ever listen to the recording before releasing it!!! (I’ve listened to this podcast on my desktop, my iPhone and my iPad and the audio problems are the same on each device.) I’m unsubscribing, and maybe once Marvel makes enough money, they can buy some good quality microphones and maybe even hire someone to listen the the podcast before releasing it.

not worth the time. sorry for the negativity
as a Marvel fan-man, this podcast has come up short all to often. the title is, "this week in Marvel", but half the time we're listening to band reviews, or wrestling gossip. any actual Marvel news is read straight off the press release. so then what's the point? not trying to be mean, just hungry for MCU news, 616 talk, current universe speculation, more artists and writers, etc.. basically, talk Marvel content. the ear piercing laugh really hurts to so be careful if you are wearing ear buds. volume levels are often a problem.

Turn up the volume
The podcast is okay. Going through each week's comics is a bit tedious. My biggest complaint is that even with my iPhone turned all the way up, I have to have my car stereo on max just to hear them. Mix the podcast louder for gods sake. I don't have to have any other podcast turned up past normal listening volume.

YAY STROMMY and The WOLF MAN!!
I’ve been listening to MARVEL’s so called “Agent M” and B. Morse since the Fall of 2013. If only these two had as much enthusiasm for MARVEL as they do for wrestling. They summarize weekly titles like they were reading the byline in “PREVIEWS”. They go so fast it’s like listening to a fourth grader, who can’t wait to go outside for recess, give a book report. Again, minus the enthusiasm of course. The only time they seem to enjoy what they are doing is when they are talking about wrestling. So here’s an idea, GO RECORD A SEPARATE wrestling PODCAST! There is a saving grace to the podcast, two in fact, “The Strommy And The Wolf Man Show” and the “.5” episodes. Strommy and the Wolf Man report on MARVEL from the West coast and the “.5” episodes have had some great interviews. Unfortunately the rest of the show has just become a waste of time.

You would think that this would be a great Marvel podcast
If you are a fan of comics, there is no point in listening to this podcast. First, they talk about wrestling just as much as they talk about comics, and for this podcast, that's really annoying. They go through everything that comes out every week, but since they're marvel, there will never be a critical aspect to it. Every week, they have interviews with the most d-list celebrities interviewed by a terrible host, and more times than not, the guest barely knows anything about comics. Why on earth don't they interview creators? If they can get Nas (why Nas?) why can't they get any writer or artist that they employee. They do answer questions every once in a while and have a reading club, and that stuff is great, but everything else is self congratulatory and incoherent babble.

Give Us the News Hold the Opinion
For starters the podcasts are typically too long. I can never make it through an entire episode. You can leave out the commentary, we don't need to hear your hype for the product you help produce. I would love to just hear what is coming out each week. From comics to movies to TV, but I can't even make it all the way through the comic commentaries before I'm skipping to something else. Give us what other Marvel awesomeness is coming out, such as what other people are doing with Marvel licenses, websites, podcasts, fan fiction, etc. if you want to give us your take on it.

I really like the style of the show. Feels like a living room conversation with a hint of more distinction. Essential listening for readers of current Marvel comics
I listen to this podcast every week to keep up with what’s going on in all of the Marvel comics I don’t have the time or budget to read. Ryan and Ben have great chemistry and are super informative, giving an excellent overview of every title Marvel releases each week. This podcast was a huge influence in getting me to record my own comics podcast, where my co-host and I go in-depth about a small handful of (mostly) Marvel comics each week – Erik and James Disagree About Comics. [Available right here on the iTunes!] Thanks for the inspiration, Ben & Ryan, and keep up the excellent work!

Overwhelmingly lackluster.
I love Marvel, I've read their comics for all of my almost three decades. This podcast, however, is terrible. The audio is terrible as well as the editing. There were too much stammering, 'uh's and awkward stops. The hosts seem to meander around as well in conversation. They have good chemistry, but it's too tangential. The overall feeling is that the podcast is just a giant circle jerk of marvel employees complimenting their colleagues work. Every comic book is the hosts favorite or second favorite, and the art is always amazeballs. An overwhelming lack of objectivity is noticeable. Their explanations of comics aren't terrible informative, either. I was expecting something more along the lines of Rachel and Mile's podcast. Overall, Marvel, you can do much better than this. I love you guys, but I'm not some fanboy who is going to give five stars just because this is Marvel. You guys have a lot of work to do with your podcasts.

This week in Marvel
This podcast is really only good for finding out what is coming out each week. Each week the hosts drool over every product coming out from their employer (and we know its impossible for every book to be a home run every week, right?) I would like to hear some variety in their comments. I find the structure of the show awkward. I would also rather that the hosts stay on topic and not go off topic with wrestling comments. (I'm a wrestling fan, but that's not why I'm listening to this podcast.)

To much Love
I was looking for a podcast to get my information about New Marvel comics. I have listen to many episodes of this podcast. But, there is just a problem with having a podcast consisting of the employees of the company. It would be nice to have a slight sense that the reviewers have an actual opinion. When every book has the most beautiful art or the greatest storyline. How every book is their favorite. I am really enjoying The New Marvel Now titles. I am reading a lot of the new books, but I wont be listening this podcast anymore. I actually stopped listening to the last episode I was listening to when both decided that the last two books they were reviewing was there favorite. Thanks for your time.

Marvel Enthusiasm Galore
One of the main reasons I got back into comics was listening to this. Their enthusiasm is infectious. Plus you get the latest on all things Marvel. They will often go off on tangents, but that's part of the charm. And their chemistry is great. It's like a US comic version of Top Gear.

Horrible audio quality from an official podcast? Why???
I've been listening to this podcast for months and every episode has some of the worst audio quality I've heard in my 6+ years of listening to podcasts (and that says something). The recording is so poor, I think I'm going to quit listening and just stick with a good podcast. They have their interns on the show and you can't even hear them because it sounds like they are talking into a pic that's on the other side of the room. My main question is: WHY??? You guys are Marvel! Someone's job is to produce this? Well, your boss needs to get to work and whip this show into shape. I mentioned this issue on their Facebook page and they deleted it. Not very cool., seeing as how I pump hard earned cash into this company every week. That's pretty bogus, Marvel.

Think of your listeners
Guys, do you really have to talk in depth about EVERY single book coming out each week. With three to four people giving their two cents on every book, the podcast is excruciatingly long. Couldn't you just list every book coming out then go into depth for yout TWIMs? Don't get me wrong I want to hear about books but I never get past that section to hear about toys, games, other media, etc. because of the length of that section. Your best podcasts are when you have guests on (i.e. celebs visiting Marvel, the Breevort/Lowe episodes) because they're generally shorter and we get an insight we can't get elsewhere. There are so many places we can go online to find out what's coming out each week so give us something special- not just something we could find out ourselves.

A fun but poorly produced commercial
I'm writing this review as of their 5th episode, so I do want to say this show has promise. But as it is, newly launched, some tune-ups are badly needed. The two hosts of This Week in Marvel have a good rapport and really seem enthusiastic about their material. However, as Marvel employees they are forced to be excited about every single item they discuss. So instead of an actual highlight, what you really get is a run down of everything Marvel that comes off like an hour-plus infomercial, trying to sell you every bit of it. I almost expect a host to say "BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE…" Of course being official they can't truly be honest or objective, but without any creator interviews or backmatter additions, it feels wasteful. Given that not every item will be of equal importance to every person, a web page would truly be a better delivery method for this content. In print you can skim most and read what is of interest, but without chapter markers here I have to listen equally about X-Men and Wizard of Oz... And worse, the show is poorly produced. Actually, it's not produced at all. It has the sound of two guys chatting possibly unaware they are being recorded. If the show is edited, it doesn't seem that way at all as the hosts stammer through sentences, stating incorrect items then hastily correcting themselves. There is often background noise of other office-mates chatting. Worst of all, on the fifth show one host had a chronic cough. Any other podcast I listen to would have edited those out, either by pausing when the coughing fits hit, or by perhaps having a sub host for that episode. It is the epitome of lazy and careless to release a show sounding like that… Still the guys are good. If they supplemented this with some interviews, perhaps used it to release a few tidbits of upcoming news (versus their printed press releases), and edited it this could deserve the #1 iTunes rank it holds. But for now…it is a tolerable listen for die hard Marvel fans only.
