How to do All things through Christ?
Think with Saurav
We hope you enjoy the podcast.
When you study the life of Apostle Paul, you get to see a lot of things.
His attitude towards problems, persecutions, and how he challenged the adversities, how
he responds to them as amazing, and he says in the book of Philippians chapter 4 verse 13,
that I can do all things through Christ who is sentenced to me, he is saying that he can
do all things through this person of Jesus Christ, who gives him all this strength, ability
to stand all the persecution.
Because they know that they're flourishing, they're being complete because of this person
of Jesus Christ, he is the ultimate, and it resistible need of every person.
They're drawn to the love of God, they're drawn to the meaning that Christ provides to us,
and the life flows out of Christ.
Do you know that a person who is walking with God, whenever I am walking with God, the delight
and the enjoyment and pleasure is incomparable.
You cannot describe this.
You cannot compare this in this world because when you open the Bible in the morning, when
you pray to God, when you sing worship songs, this person who is depending on God for
everything, he delightfully sings, he joyfully prays, and he joyfully reads the Bible.
The things of this world are designed to provide dissatisfaction and disappointment, but
God never gives any dissatisfaction or disappointment, because he's always delivering his
always giving to us, he's always healing us, he's always with us, God is always providing
joy and pleasure.
I do not know why people run after the things of this world, because once I have tasted,
once you have tasted, the goodness of God, it is impossible to run after the things of this
world.
It is a transit that people don't recognize this being, the completion in Christ, again,
Christ makes you full, Christ makes you joyful, Christ makes you extraordinary, because in Christ
is everything, there's nothing outside of Christ when we eat at his table, when we drink
from his spring of water, and lie in his pastor, you are never, never dissatisfied.
You have never lacked anything because Christ gives you everything that you need.
He knows that his people who are depending on him live under the mighty supplier himself.
So a Christian, a man of God, a woman of God, ought not to fear anything, because his
confidence is in his mighty hand, and he lives under his wings, and he takes refuse
under the mighty God.
Christ becomes his person, Christ becomes his center, Christ becomes the head and the direction
of his life.
So whenever you think you are bored in this Christian life, and you think there's nothing
exciting and thrilling going on in your life as a Christian, you need to ask a question,
and you need to draw back, you need to examine your life, and you need to go deeper into
your life, and ask questions, take a stock of your life, investigate what is happening.
Because a Christian life is the most unique life of all.
Jesus said, we ought to be the light and the salt on this earth.
That means we ought to represent Christ.
We are the ambassador of Jesus Christ Himself.
Jesus came to tear down the wall that separated us from God.
He just broke everything.
He reconciled us with God Himself.
And He has accomplished this on the cross.
So if your Christian, Jesus becomes your power, Christ becomes the epicenter of everything
for you.
This becomes the powerhouse for you.
And without Christ, if you're looking for pleasure in the world, in pornography, in televisions,
in movies, in your relationships, in your school, in a career, you are misguided.
You are deluded because this life is fleeting, my friends, and we are transient in this
world.
But Christ is what makes everything meaningful.
So a Christian life should be exciting, a Christian life should empower you, it should protect
you, it should equip you, and Jesus should become your safety net.
The problem becomes a real problem when we are bound up in the ignorance and the parameters
of our own limited knowledge.
Let me remind you this, many Christian love a miserable life.
I'm telling you, you asked them, are you Christian and they will say yes, but their lives,
their lives indicate something completely else.
A Christian is not miserable because it's always joyful because he's living by the truth.
Our enemy, our enemy wants us to be bound up in ignorance, our enemy wants us to be away
from the truth.
But the truth is that Christ lives.
He is resurrected and Christ is the one who sets us free, the very life of Christianity
that are to deliver us, and that are to make us delightful, it ought to give us life,
it ought to give us new life, becomes unbearable, and this is unbelievable to me because
you are always worried, fretting, and in constant, if it, and why is that because Satan,
because the enemy has kept you in bondage, and he is telling you not to look in the truth
because we run for the confidence in the music, in the songs, even the worship songs, even
the sermons, they're not designed to deliver you from the lies, only the Bible, the truth,
the scripture of the Word of God, Christ Himself is supposed to deliver you from the lies,
from the, from the boredom of the life, so the very life of Christianity ought to be your
joy, it ought to be delight, you ought to run after you ought to be joyful, delighted, and
always excited, and we don't do that every single day, and this is because we are not familiar
with the truth, I myself am always not always walking in joyfulness, I'm not always walking
in delight, I'm not always walking excitement, but then I am always reminded in the scripture
that I am always constantly should be looking to Christ, and he's supposed to be my
person, he's supposed to be my delight, the center of my life, and it is, it is your center,
it is your meaning, it is where your life begins, you are to be captivated by Christ Himself,
the beauty, and Jesus Christ, if Christ isn't working, then something else, something that is
terrible is underlying that has captivated your attention. Christianity is all about functioning
in this spiritual power while hanging in the Word of God, in the Word of Jesus, and I'm
so sad for the people who hasn't found Christ, it isn't about, it isn't about you, it isn't
about your own, producing your own joy, a producing by your own means, it is about having
the joy in Christ, having this extraordinary joy in Christ, that is the production of Christ
Jesus Himself, so if you haven't found this joy, you need to go back to the Bible, pray and ask God,
ask Holy Spirit, and just put away all the worldly desires and reads out for Christ, this world
will always disappoint you, this world will always make you sad, but God will always fulfill you,
though path is not going to be easy, it is going to be hard, right now we are in the middle of
this cultural war, and there are a lot of voices out there, somebody says something that is a
politics that's going on right now, there is a cultural war that's going on, but none of that is
designed to give you peace, they are designed to put you in fear and manipulation, but Christ says,
I am the truth, so don't listen to this voices outside of my will, don't listen to the voices
that are not in the Scripture, always listen to the voice of God, that is the word of God and the Holy
Spirit. Now let's look at Matthew chapter 7 verse 7 to 80 says, ask and it will be given to you,
seek and you'll find knock and it will be open to you for everyone who asks receives and he who
seeks finds and to him who knocked it will be opened. Jesus invites all of us into this promise,
this is a promise to us, if you seek me you'll find me and if you knock I'll open the door for you,
if you ask you will receive, I'll give it to you, but then the main question is what are you asking?
You see, you won't know the truth of living a Christian life, if you're looking in the wrong
places, if you're asking the wrong thing, if you're knocking the wrong doors and if you're looking
into the wrong places, how often is our desire to serve God? How often are we looking
fervently to live out Christ's word? And if our prayers are wrong, if our asking is wrong,
we're asking for our own self centerness and it is not under God's will, then we'll always be
disappointed. How often do you not knock at the doors of heaven to know Jesus, to love him,
to delighting him, to get excited about him, how often do you seek why is this shadow of darkness
pulls me away from Christ, how often have you wondered about eternity? Let me tell you this,
Christian life is the most delightful and amazing life of style of all. You may look into this
celebrities and you think, oh my goodness, I wish I could live like them. I wish I had the
charisma like they to have, like money and cars and life is all they have. But if you think that
way as a Christian, then you have missed out on something very important. That is how Christ
fulfills you. That is how Christ is the only authentic way to the doors of heaven. You have
forgotten that the liberty that Christ has given you weighs above everything else, everything,
everything, there's knock of delight that you have found in the movies. That's above everything else.
So don't be fooled. Don't be fooled into believing that this culture and this demonic culture
will provide you anything. If you think this world is going to give you the confidence,
this world is going to give you fulfillment, then you aren't alluded. You see, again, my point
is I'm stressing again that your delight, your joy and every being in fulfillment is from Christ.
And if you're asking the wrong thing and if you're looking into the wrong places for your joy,
then you are mistaken. Before you enable yourself into a man, now who is strengthened by Christ,
you must recognize who Christ is and what Christianity is. Let me tell you, Christ is the
safety net. He is the buttress to your spiritual life. You cannot do anything of significance without
Christ. Christ is the significance. He is the meaning. If you're fastened by the belt of pride,
and you say, I can find meaning in anything else, something else, some other gods, some of the
prophets, some other gurus will provide me the way, then you are, you're wrong. You see, there's nothing
other than Christ because you see nothing other than yourself. If you're thinking that you will
accomplish great things by yourself, remember this, Christ is the meaning and your significance will
come from Christ. And the Christianity is the life of delight, the life of victory,
Christ's the safety, Christ has already given us the license. He has already stamped us with
this stamp of God's children. So you're walking in the light, you're walking in victory, that
Christ accomplished, and still your life is dreadful, then there's something that you need to
reconsider. Your life and your examine everything. If you feel your life is extremely
worrisome, your life is always worried about something full of disappointments, despair and hopelessness.
If any, if you call yourself a Christian, that should not happen. Because a Christian,
no matter what kind of challenges he comes across, no matter what kind of places he gets into,
he knows how to get out of that, because he knows who can take him, bring him,
pull him out of that situation. No matter what happens, Christian life is the most exciting life.
This happens, oftentimes we get into these troubles and we forget it, completely our own
identity, we forget the scripture, we forget the Lord, we forget everything who is our master,
and we try to scramble and define the solutions in this world, and that is,
so find solution from other people, other than Christ, and that happens often, and this is a mistake.
I'm telling you, you have to run to Christ every time you get into trouble. You have to run to God,
and I am learning, and every time I run to God, I know that I have done my job, and God will
do the rest, and you will move forward, not backward. So Christ is the Lord, Christ is the master,
Christ is the provider, Christ is everything, Christ is the center of your life. Now, who is the
decision maker in your life? I use the decision maker, is your life run by your own self, or is your
life run by the scripture, and you can do whatever you want to do, and you can care very little
about God, but that is not going to help at all, if you're expecting transformation. If you're expecting
great breakthrough in your life, you need to run to Christ and find what is meaningful, money is
not meaningful, job is not meaningful. They are just the tools in this world to expand and advance
the kingdom of God. But if you lie there, and if you think that is all, then I'm sorry. I'm sorry
for you. That is not all. You can be a businessman, you can be an engineer, you can be a pastor,
and whatever you are. But that is just the tool to advance the kingdom of God and his messes,
because ultimately God is working right now, and he's going to bring every people to him.
We are going to stand before him, and he is what he said, he would be. He is always what he said,
he would be, you need to remove yourself and from the world, from the things of this world,
from the tracks and of this world, remove yourself, from driving your own life, and you need to
surrender completely to Christ, who is able to run your life better than you can, ever trust in Jesus,
because he is, again, what he said, he would be. You will experience that piece once you understand
that you don't need to be in control of everything. A surrender life, a surrendered man,
is a free man, is a free life. Surrender yourself to Christ and see what he does. He will change
you, and don't be afraid of losing you won't, you will only gain in it to trust God. And then
you can say, I can do all things through Christ. Remember how Paul learned to be content.
Joyful and happy, and whatever circumstances he was into, he learned to be happy. He learned
to be joyful, and how did he do that? He understood the secret of being content in Christ.
He understood that Christ is the new king and he is the, and this king had different ways.
And today he invites all of us and he invites you to experience the joy and delight that a
possible was experiencing. He invites you and you won't experience this fulfillment by the things of
this world. You're not going to experience the joy in other things other than Christ himself. You
must bring your both feet in the kingdom of God. You cannot have one feet in the world and one
fit in the kingdom of God. He got to get both of those feet into the kingdom of God. And you will
grow in him and you need to learn to die to yourself and die in him. You will find yourself,
then, experiencing the goodness of God. You cannot do all things through Christ by living and
unsurrendered lifestyle. You must completely give yourself to Christ. He is the ultimate need for
all of us. No wonder we experience anxiety, fear, worry, heart aches, greed, disappointment,
and hurts in this world because we're focused on the people and the materials of this world
that don't give us meaning and fulfillment in Christ. Only fulfillment in Christ gives us meaning.
If you want to do all things through Christ, then first, you need to learn and you need to be
delightful and into be joyful and Christ and you need to invite Christ in your life. The ultimate
person of man must be the knowledge of God. If you don't pursue God, if you're not pursuing
Christ in your life and you're pursuing things of this world and you say, I can do all things
through Christ, then you're diluted. This life is short, so you need to get hold of the eternity
in look, this life through the lenses of eternity. Then only you can do all things through Christ
and you will do greater things through Christ alone. So finally, I want to exhort you brother and
sister that you always see God and keep eternity in your mind and surrender to Christ and see
how Christ changes your life. Thank you. I hope you enjoyed this podcast and if you enjoyed,
