Tim was awesome
Tim filling in for Kev was pretty awesome and it really felt like we didn’t skip a beat as Kev took a well deserved breather. Having Tim on as the news broke on sports betting was the biggest coincidence, but my bias believes that Kevin has his third eye open and he knew the future 🤣 next time let’s get Doc and Thom on as the fill in host and cohost and let’s ride that rollercoaster for a couple days. Talk about a perfect storm. Thank you Tim for filling in, well done.

Long time listener. Even though Kevin is just a minion for SVP, he still mages to put on a great show. Lol. Kevin and Tommy are at their best when Tommy is setting the record straight. “Anything else boss”. Keep up the good work fellas and stop insulting your loyal listeners. Listening in Hawaii BTW.

Enough about maps and globes!
Kevin. Enough about maps and globes. You asked if you had already talked about it in a previous podcast and I’m telling you yes, you did just talk about your weird obsession of pulling over and checking a map. Also I loved you talking about Michael Scott saying “what is wrong with me today!?” while playing basketball because honestly in my head that’s how I picture you whenever you’re having the “rare” off game. Love you guys thanks for all you do.

Riding w the Wife..
Kevin and his totally tuned in guest. The lady , Ms. Caroline.. last name escapes me. I could listen to her on a weekly basis. About Dan the loser. She so aptly put it. His deep rooted psychosis. Little man complex. His last days alone with his toys. No friends. She had Kevin chortling in background. I found it jolly good. She even mentioned Skipper Dan. Thom , his legend looms large. We both thoroughly enjoyed it.

Had to give Kevin 1 star for thinking…
…That the new owner should look into changing back to the old name. I used to have a reasonably high opinion of the level of discourse on this show but to give airtime to such a stupid idea is laughable. Congrats on earning your 1 star Kevin!

It was never Christopher Walken 🤯
Longtime listener since the Sports Fix days with Kevin and Thom and the “did you just belch?!” moment on air. Ha! Now an officer in the Navy and will have this podcast give me a sense of home no matter where I am in the world. So thank you both, Kevin and Thom, for that. Kevin is THE authoritative voice on DC sports, particularly the Washington football team. Thom is that crazy uncle whose takes make you laugh, and then when you’re lying awake late at night you realize, “hey, he’s actually right. AGAIN.” Love the banter. Love the television show discussion. Love the city. And I am ALWAYS here for Doc Walker and his tongue-in-cheek Kevin Sheehan fanboy schtick. More Doc Walker, including calling football games! Also, I learned 12 years too late that it was never Christopher Walken who “appeared” on the Sports Fix all those times because of this podcast. Mind. Blown. Keep up the quality work, gentlemen.

Kevin and Thom, hilarious and so off topic!
Always look forward to Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Kevin and Thom are so awkward together, it makes for great entertainment. I love when Kevin goes on for minutes on a topic then Thom chimes in afterwards as if Kevin didn’t didn’t even say anything and repeats the same info as his own for which Kevin calls him out for not listening, priceless!! The best part is Thom acknowledges it, lol. I’m not sure why I continue to be a Washington (what ever the football team is) as I don’t even live in MD any longer. I suppose I hang in there hoping for turning point and with Danny boy on his way off, I think we are there. So glad I hung in there, keep up the great job, HTTR forever!

Mouth of the South!
Loved hearing Fred Smoot on the pod, I can listen to that guy talk about anything! Also Kevin I appreciate all the “heavy lifting” you had to do with the Steve Spurrier interview, and it was interesting to hear “some” of his insight on his time in Washington. “When I couldn’t pick the QB, I knew I was in trouble” 😂 I think all the fans would had loved to hear him answer some of your saucier questions! Hey Kev’ the man is undefeated against Belichick though you gotta’ give him that!

Thommy’s Biggest Fan (sometimes)
Kevin - love the show especially when Thommy is on. The back & forth on topics revolving around the football team have me wishing I could call in or be in the room to join the conversation - especially when Thommy never passes on the opportunity to spin the Henicke situation into a Ron Rivera lashing. The 20 minutes or so on everything from Thommy’s road trips to Bruce Springsteen are even better. I actually attended the DC grays event with a buddy of mine last year at Shelly’s and sat quietly in the back at the table next to Mike Rizzo and Davey Martinez - with everyone probably wondering if these two 28 year olds smoking cigars in the back were lost. We were a little too star-struck to say hello to you guys but plan to come back again this year and will be sure to introduce ourselves. One idea - how would you feel about some sort of a live podcast with you and Thom at Shelly’s (or another local DC spot). Not sure if there’s a ton of younger listeners like me and my buddy that would come out but regardless I’m sure you guys would attract a crowd and could be really fun event and maybe even some live Q&A for your listeners to engage. Either way, great podcast and hope to see you at Shelly’s on May 22nd!

Good stuff and both my sone and I make this a must listen on a daily basis. I particular i love Cooley and would listen to him on a foghorn if I had too. Kevin is always on topic and Tom is a pleasant contrarian -OK. not so pleasant sometimes. but enjoyable none the less. Old man talk is a bit much sometimes

“I love globes too!”
Where else you gonna get a podcast that covers the Commanders like a blanket and connects the current big picture to their rich past legacy with interesting and, dare I say Ron, important, perspective than this show. Kevin is for the DMV sports fan, the vigilant keeper of the flame on the wall that people at parties with tuxedos that love sports may not necessarily want to talk about, but deep down - need. And on the days Tommy L can join when he isn’t busy smoking cigars, watching tv series from at least ten years ago, tending to the condo in FL, or working on his singing chops for the next karaoke night - that perspective just runs that much richer. And the old guy chat is bonus city baby. Who else talks about loving having a globe in the house?

We love the “boring” old man talk!!!
Love the show, been a regular listener of the radio show and the podcast for about 3 seasons now, my father and his father have always been huge 980 fans and big fans of Kevin as well! As a young fan, listening to the latest review I couldn’t disagree more. I can’t speak for everyone, but I love tuning in on the days Tommy is on specifically for my daily dose of “boring old man talk”. Keep up the great work!

More Cooley Please.
Love Cooley. Who doesn’t. But don’t have any interest in listening to Thom. The contempt for fans and political insults (e.g. “political party is a cult”) and really, he’s boring, doesn’t really do anything. If I’m being honest, as a lifelong DC Sports Fan, I don’t need so much from the Philadelphia mafia that has infiltrated the DC sports market, and Richmond.

I personally am glad that the 1 star guy weeded himself out of this pod. I think that you and Thom are very entertaining when you talk about non sports things. Old guy talk!
Stole my kids iPad to put in my 2nd 5 star review to cancel out that that 1 star nonsense! Pretty sure he’s part of that loud minority of the fan base that insists we must start Sam Howell 17 games or would rather “build the team” vs giving up 2 picks for Lamar. Never stop the “old guy” talk! Random western MD and maps conversation with Thommy was great. Next time give me the most famous person from Latrobe, PA and see where that road leads! Thanks for the hours of quality entertainment on top of the coverage of our beloved Washington Commanders! -Steve in Hagerstown (PS the golf is pretty great out here!)

Best DC Sports Podcast
As a longtime listener to this and many other Washington football podcasts, Kevin’s show stands above the rest in both volume (nearly daily episodes) and quality of content. Regarding the latter, I was moved to write this review following his most recent podcast with Howard Gutman. Gutman is a prestigious and well-connected lawyer with stellar insight on the team’s legal troubles and apparently prospective owners as well. Other recurring guests include Tommy and Cooley who offer their own insights and entertaining banter. Thanks Kevin + team, you all do an excellent job. I can’t wait for the day that we no longer have to ‘suspend reality’ to believe this team will be competitive.

Kevin, long time listener here. Love the guests, love the funny discussions and love the smell tests. Thank God for them because I’m a pretty big mark. Only prob I have w/ the pod and your show too is that if someone isn’t on your list, seems like you can’t get through on the phone and of course no interaction on the pod, which is understandable. I use to love this show until it went off the cliff….
1. Kevin now transparently self-promotes by reading positive reviews likely knowing there are a lot of people who want to hear him read their name. 2. Kevin and Thom have started talking about non-sports talk for maybe 10-15 mins to start each podcast. Talk about boring “old-guy” talk (and I’m almost Kevin’s age). 3. Kevin and Thom spend countless hours nit picking every comment from the commanders and trying to find inconsistencies. Honestly, who cares? How about - cap numbers, prospects, rule changes, player injury recovery, player news. Why complain endlessly over how Ron refers to the QBs? Once - OK. Twice? Ok. Every time you discuss the QBs. Tiring. I’ve found better pods and you can too.

Wonderful podcast…
I have been listening since day 1 that Kevin put this together. I especially love the days that Thommy and Cooley are on to provide “expert” insight and analysis haha! In all seriousness, the chemistry between Thom, and Kevin is superb. It’s like peanut butter and jelly going together! One ask, would be PLEASE time-stamp the podcast when guests are on. That is the only criticism I have. Thanks for all you do for DC sports!

Old school memories
Just listened to your 12/31/22 Billy Kilmer episode reminiscing about 1972. Good stuff, even though I was not a Washington fan. I remember watching the ‘72 Green Bay-Washington playoff game at my grandparents’ house in Milwaukee. Your Redskins made me sad that day. But I was 9 and it was Christmas Eve, so I got over it. Perfect Ingredients
Here’s a 5 star review and the recipe for a monte cristo sandwich provided, of course, by Chat GPT AI. Delicious and indulgent, same as the podcast with Tommy! A Monte Cristo sandwich is a delicious and indulgent sandwich that combines elements of French toast and a ham and cheese sandwich. Here's a recipe for a classic Monte Cristo sandwich: Ingredients: 2 slices of bread (white or wheat) 2 slices of ham 2 slices of turkey 2 slices of Swiss cheese 2 eggs 1/4 cup of milk 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 tablespoon of butter Powdered sugar (optional) Raspberry jam (optional) Instructions: Assemble the sandwich by placing one slice of bread on a flat surface and layering the ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese on top. Place the other slice of bread on top to make a sandwich. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top (optional) and serve with raspberry jam on the side for dipping (optional). Enjoy your delicious Monte Cristo sandwich!

Snyder to the Nats???
What if! Snyder sells the Commanders and purchases the Nationals!!! Skipper Dan would be a more accurate title If he owns the Nats!!! By the way if Loverro can watch Stranger Things. He needs to get Game of Thrones! Just swallow your pride and watch one episodes and not about the fantasy dragons but more so the character development! Love the show. Love the back and forth with the random conversations about beers, babes, and pinball machines!

The only podcast I never skip. Kevin is stubborn, Tommy insufferable - but it works. I love listening to Kevin and Tom. They insult the intelligence of “some” of the Redskins fan base(also known as their listeners) every chance they get and yet we keep tuning in. As a matter of fact the more they make fun of us the more we tune in. For 20+ years Dan Snyder has insulted our intelligence so I guess we are conditioned to this kind of treatment. Keep up the good work guys we are always here for more of it just ask the Sailing Man Dan

Don’t tease us
Kevin, love the show but your latest title was a let down. I know you’re a huge college basketball fan but I don’t follow it at all. Football is all I follow and Washington has been my team my whole life (41 years old). I loved Cooley as a player and have loved him as a commentator as well as on the radio with you, and separately with Czabe and Galdi. I wish he was on your podcast more but most importantly I was really hoping he’d get a shot at coaching. Your latest title “Cooley to DC!” got me very excited when the notification came across my phone screen. Then I read the episode description and saw it was about college basketball. I should have known because I heard you talking about it on your radio show this morning but when it comes to you I always think of Chris when you put “Cooley” in your show title.

Kevin’s QB1/1a Cognitive Fumble
Long time listener and the show just keeps getting better! One of the shows strenths is its lenth. A little disappointed, though, that the guy who can squeeze five seconds at the end of the half so hard it becomes three plays would whiff so badly on behavioral economics. Whether a QB was selected in the first or fifth round should have absolutely zero bearing on how long to stick with them. It’s a sunk cost and that draft pick is gone. Whether you paid a dollar to listen to a local dive band, or a thousand dollars to witness the musical genius that is Tommy, you should leave the venue the moment you stop having fun. Staying with something longer just because you paid more is Snyderesque thinking. Thanks and keep up the great show!

Sheehan show drinking game mistake
Great show! I tend to listen to it while tinkering with stuff around the house and enjoying an adult beverage or two. I made the mistake of making a drinking game out of the show so whenever Kevin says Taylor Heinicke is a back up I take a drink. Not because I disagree, just because it usually gets said a couple times per show. Let’s just say after March 14ths episode I have given up on this game. I don't remember much of the show past the first 15 minutes as Kevin and Tom argued about Heinicke. I had some scotch I was sipping and had quite a few refills in a short span. It was a painful experience that I am regretting today! Love the show, Tom is great, even if usually wrong, I kid, and as a guy in his mid 30s Cooley is one of the few good things I remember of the skins.

Kevin and Tommy Purify!!!
Love the show! From Connecticut, and listen to it so much that my wife and eight year old daughter are always saying “enough Kevin Sheehan, can we listen to something else?“ . Not only do I enjoy Kevin’s smart and objective takes, but I have found myself with a similar emotional perspective throughout the years… From my optimistic, and sometimes delusional passion in the previous decades, to clinging onto my passion by a thread with the name change and long term dysfunctional ownership. Tommy, you are the best! Although, I think you should really start listening to Kevin and stop scrolling through porn, I mean Google, while he is trying to make a good point….. I think you might be hurting his feelings. I have a place right down the street from Kenny D’s, and my goal is to come witness a live performance by the great Tommy purify! Keep it up boys.

Thom-Purified
Hey Kevin, I’m a long time listener from back in The Sports Fix days and still FULLY enjoy listening to your and Thom’s banter twice a week. Please continue with the half-baked food and restaurant reviews and please include the chimichanga (amazing choice for a death row meal) at some point. One statement and two questions for you this evening. Statement 1. Thom is certainly a tenor (based on his speaking voice). I’m so buying front row tickets to his inaugural tour (providing there is an open bar). Question 1. I recently heard Cowboy’s backup QB Cooper Rush is a free agent. What a perfect (and relatively) inexpensive QB to compete with Sam I Am. Thought? 2. If I were to slap a Commanders decal on my Jeep, would Danny Boy send me a few checks? The additional revenue would go a long way in helping me purchase my first jet. #ijustwannabelikedan Brennen Philadelphia, PA

Commanders and Covered Bridges
I am a Raleigh, NC long time listener. I am a WFT fan only, so I tend to skip through the Wiz, MD, and Caps talk. Of course the football team talk is second to none! Great guests and fair insight. Love Tuesdays and Thursday’s with grumpy Loverro and the discussion on every day topics such as covered bridges!! Who goes on vacation to look at covered bridges!!! Kevin had me in tears making fun of Tom about this a few years ago. Also, love Cooley although his shows tend to be very long. One request! Add more gambling talk, 10 min a week on smell tests is not enough. Thanks for all the hard work over the years! Go Skins!

Do you know why!?
Do you know why I love your podcast!? You are completely honest about the Commanders and the skipper Dan situation but besides that you show Maryland athletics so much respect especially the basketball program! I could listen to you and Gary Williams talk all day! Oh, and Thom is OK too! keep up the good work. I look forward to listening to your podcast every night when I come to work.

Excellent source of information for DC Sports
Kevin is an excellent source for information, current events, and insightful takes on all things DC Sports; pro and college. He doesn’t give garbage hot takes like many sports talk hosts. He brings in great guests that all have roots on DC sports - Lovero, Cooley, Czabe. As a born and raised DC Sports fan I highly recommend Sheehan’s podcast and radio show!

A Timeless Podcast
I first heard Kevin in Thom on rides with my Dad to elementary school. Now, 18 the show is still apart of my daily routine. From their discussions about Skipper Dan and the lowly Commanders, to classic TV shows, and even their own personal ailments, the duo continues to entertain to an elite degree. Kevin also poises as a fantastic solo host, with realistic and accurate depictions of the team and their fan base. Additional guests like Chris Cooley also bring a level of advanced football knowledge to the show, with film breakdowns of most Commanders games that give greater insight to the team. Overall a great show, with the highlights being on Tuesday and Thursdays. I hope to share a cigar with the dynamic pair at Shelly’s when the time comes. HTTC and Fear the Turtle!

Reviews and Ginger Snaps
On the way home from Trader Joe’s, listening to Kevin’s podcast with a box of Triple Ginger Snaps in hand, it finally hit me. I’ve been mystified when my kids watch YouTube videos of other people playing a video game rather than playing the game themselves. Kevin regularly reads reviews of the show on the air that listeners have left on Apple, Spotify, etc. I find this very entertaining and often laugh out loud at the funny comments. It dawned on me that I was essentially listening to other people listen to the show, which is analogous to what my kids do. So thank you Kevin, I get it now. Even when the local DC sports teams communicate to us fans “I’ve got nothing else for you, boss” in terms of winning, Kevin, Tommy, Cooley, and other luminaries always fill the victory void with informed and respectful argument, insightful film breakdowns, movie, TV, and music commentary, cookie recommendations, and yes, listener reviews. It’s all part of a menu of excellence that will undoubtedly enshrine The Kevin Sheehan Show in the DC Sports Podcast Hall of Fame on the first ballot.

Thank you for your show which is a must listen. As a former naval aviator turned airline pilot, you and your guests have always provided a sense of home even when I was far from it. Especially enjoy hearing Thom’s voice go soprano when you two get going. Keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing Sam Howell prove himself. His great grandfather Thurston would be proud.

Bizarre endings, but LOVE the show!
Great content, Cooley and Thom are the best, and listening makes me feel like I’m still back home in the DMV. Although the whole show kind of comes apart at the end there. Out of nowhere, there’s this lone singer who appears to be injured. It’s a disturbing event.

It’s a Music Show
Every afternoon at 2:30 on the way home from work I load up the podcast app hoping it refreshes with a new Sheehan show. Even more joyous when it’s Tuesday or Thursday and there’s a show title highlighting the latest blunder out of the Ashburn clown show, knowing Thom is on to crush them. Hilarious and they deserve all that comes to them. I grew up in the DMV, my Redskins fandom solidifying just on the tail end of glory. My father had season tickets since the mid 60’s up until the confiscation of our name. Recapping Kevin and Thom’s critique of the team is always a point of bonding for us. On another note, loved ending the show on a Thursday with Thom singing “Tossing and Turning” only to get Marvin Gaye’s Anthem on a Friday. Talk about a menu of excellence! -Andrew

Always a great listen
I have been listening to Kevin on all platforms for years. His guests are always great, I can’t decide which one is my favorite. This show gets a 5th star because it can help men in certain 4 hour viagra situations. Listen to the show with Ben where they talk about the prospects of a Pat Shurmer and an Andy Dalton offseason. Talk about deflating. Shoot, the US should have sent that episode right at the Chinese spy balloon. The balloon wouldn’t have had a chance. Seriously though, keep up the great work.

Kevin & Tommy are the best. Been listening since the 980/Sports Fix days. These guys are Mutt & Jeff, Abbott & Costello, and Laurel & Hardy all rolled into one. To quote Gump: They're like box of chocolates-- you never know what you're gonna get. Happy Birthday next week, coach sheehan. I know it's on the 24th but you never give your exact age - I'm guessing 57. Keep up the great work Yano

Always interesting
My go-to daily podcast. Of course, a day without Thom Loverro is a different vibe, but Kevin works hard to talk to interesting guests on those days. However, the constant teasing of Chis Cooley and then hearing the reasons why he’s not on reminds one of a high school nerd chasing the prom Queen and listening to her say “she’s got to wash her hair” or “she has to study”. Still my favorite listen.

Even though Tommy and Kevin are so old that they took Archery in School (😉🤣), they’re a must listen together every week. Love the back and forth banter between the two, and a pod where they do a solid amount of Terps football and basketball. Safe to say the pod has caught on. Excellent, Informative, Great Perspective, and Educating
The Kevin Sheehan pod cast is a mainstay in my daily listening. I take a double dose starting with the show on 980 and then move to the Podcast. I find that I remain well informed, can refine my views on sports issues and personally, I identify with the concentration of football news. Lastly I’ve gotten smarter with the film breakdowns and in fact I now coach youth football semi-competently! Thanks Kevin - keep it coming man!!!

Still the gold standard for DC sports talk
Kevin Sheehan and a consistently great cast of guests have created the most entertaining and informative DC sports talk for almost two decades. The chemistry between Kevin and folks like Thom Loverro, Chris Cooley and Andy Pollin is unmatched and it always makes for a great listen. The topics of discussion will keep you on your toes, from Lorna Doones, pinball machines and getting befuddled by Carly Simon to Bullets memories, the glory days of the Gibbs-era Redskins and the woes of the current Commanders. Regardless of the subject, it’s always worth your time.

The best place for intelligent sports information
As a subscriber from the beginning, this podcast is intelligent, entertaining, and informative. A lot of sports programming is guys just yelling at each other with repetitive takes. Kevin, Thom, their guest Ben, Cooley, and others provide the thoughtful analysis ( Kirk Cousins being the top-of-the-league QB, the exception). I find it hard to find intelligent conversation in sports media. This podcast provides that while being funny and consistent with relevant local content.

I originally found Kevin back when I first heard about Cooley doing film breakdowns when they had a show together on the radio station. I’m not from DC, but have always been a fan of the team and Cooley’s take on the game intrigued me. Now, the podcast has me listening every day thanks to Kevin’s takes and Thom’s unique voice. Kevin does such a great job reading ads that I don’t even fast forward through them. Love all the talk about the team and it’s dysfunction or The Office analogies, but there is nothing better than when they get going about my favorite sport…PICKLEBALL!!!

What happened?
Been listening for a little over two years. I can only assume Kevin is just so over Washington he’s low key (not very) working against them. There’s a lot of meandering in the cast, he makes completely illogical statements (ad nauseum) about the team in the area he calls the most important, but tends to be correct on 95% of everything else. Doesn’t get guests that would disagree with him (or doesn’t go into those topics). The arrogance has grown to a point where he ignores easily-accessible data. So I can barely listen to more than a few mins of him on the radio or the pod- this from someone whom was my favorite for most of those two years.

From Dustin With Love
From Dustin With Love For this New York sports fan exiled in the DMV there’s nothing better than the Kevin Sheehan Show to feed my guilty pleasure of following the Asburn Follies, a soap opera disguised as a football team whose self-immolation in a critical late season game is seen in the corridors of Coach Gibbs Drive as just a dust-up. There have been those occasions where I’ve fallen asleep to the podcast only to wake up hearing Thom yelling at Kevin in my ear phone. The co-host who was lured away from Curveballs and Cigars where his interview with Frank Howard is one for the ages, has the clairvoyance to know what will happen in games that haven’t been played and he doesn’t need to see to file a column from the sands of Dustin, Florida. It’s a safe harbor where he is past adventures of being watched by the FBI and running into the mob but where he braves the risk of second-hand smoke in unnamed establishments that Shelly’s Back Room would surely snuff out. If only Kevin could find the time to read Thommy’s columns or watch The Wire so they could converse about west side and east side boys. After all Kevin, it’s only one of television’s greatest shows and wouldn’t it be great if we could hear Proposition Joe weigh in before each Smell Test pick with those words he immortalized: “Make Me a Proposition.” —Steve in Bristow

Hey Kev, back at it giving you guys another 5 star rating. Long time listener of the podcast. Question for you and SVP, with 10 games left in UMD basketball how high is your optimism that they’ll make the NCAA Tournament in Willard’s first year? The best Redskins show there is
Kevin is the best Redskins media personality there is imo. Would love to see Kevin do the pregame again once Snyder sells the team. when Kevin stopped doing the pregame is around the time I really didn't have the same passion for the team anymore. Tommy is also an all-time favorite. If I had a bone to pick it's the Covid vaccine thing both of these guys implied you weren't very smart if you didn't get the Covid vaccine Tommy went as far to say that he didn't respect you if you didn't get the experimental rushed through injection. People are dropping like flies now and you won't hear either of these two say the word vaccine. That was very disappointing. but hey they put on a heck of a show.

Found Kevin years ago looking for a place to listen to Redskins info in wv started listening and haven’t stopped. I would listen daily to him and Thom at Redksins at 1. These 2 were my get away in life while my wife was going through Leukemia they were my daily get away to step out of reality for a bit and listen. My wife is good now my daughter is at GW for the year so hope to be in the city from time to time to listen live to radio but will never stop the pod… Thanks for what you do. As a displaced Washington Commanders fan (getting used to the name), Kevin Sheehan’s podcast makes me feel close to DC, despite being 550 miles west. Review
Kevin, I’m giving this a 5 star review for the joy I’ve had following you over the years. I’m 33 years old and have never seen a winner. Yes, I get excited for Howell because all I have is hope. Unfortunately, I think you’ve lost the passion and the hope. I get it, but I’m not sure my generation connects with the non-stop glory days convo and talking down on the fan base. By the way, I’m not a dumb fan, I’m passionate. I want what you saw. I want to continue listening, but it seems you’re now more passionate about previous coaching relationships and QB’s. I’m still team first and want to follow people that are the same. I’ll finish this with a question….you legit seem angry at your current job. Why do you keep doing this in this market? Go be happy man. This isn’t it anymore for you. All good things come to an end.

A Light in the long Synder Dark
Listening from LA. This podcast is a 100% recommend, for its sports knowledge and humor. I left DC at the age of ten during the Skins hey day and a love for this Greek tragedy of a team followed me. I’d nearly given up hope after decades of wandering the Dan Synder desert but then I discovered Kevin and his podcast. It is now a daily listen, reminding me of what made me love the team in the first place and getting me through the downs and real downs of the team’s ownership crisis. I look forward to listening and laughing with them as we walk into the sunlit uplands of new ownership and continued quarterback controversy.

Being a fan of the DC football team can often feel like being a patron of Waffle House at 3 am…not really sure how I got here, often oblivious to the ants and grime all around and casually watching the kitchen staff yelling and screaming at each other. Tommy might know this, considering his background, but compared to Philadelphia, Washington sports talk generally and Kevin specifically provides top notch talk and evaluation for the sports scene in DC. When the Eagles were killing it, I was looking for similar voices on Philly sports podcasts to het their view in Philly and could find nothing of similar quality. Thom and Kevin listeners trust them to deliver the raw truth.
Kevin and Tom are like friends trying to explain how new owners have moved in and recked the neighborhood and we are loving every minute. On December 18th my son and I visited Shelly’s Back Room before the Giant Sunday night debacle. We loved the experience. As life long Redskin fans, we shared ole stories, joked with the staff about years of Kevin and Thom’s antics, enjoyed great food, whiskey and cigars. We had never been there, but it felt like home. We have decided, when they have late home games we will tailgate at Shelly’s ! The night went down hill after we left, but we look forward showing up one day and seeing Thom (and maybe Kevin). I’m not sure a week goes by when my son doesn’t ask me (did you hear the pod today).

The Sonny Spiral Pod
A fantastic episode. I Did order Thom’s book. Hope to get it signed at a King Soul show.. I remember watching the 74 Sonny game w my sister and her husband. So exciting. Love Sonny, gonna put on my jersey and go to game. But Kevin had set this up, it’s disgraceful it’s taken this long, a game vs. Dallas. Fans overrunning this heap. It would be ironic, if it’s Snyder’s last game overseeing the destruction of the team, the fan base- that #9 will bring a touch of class to to a debacle of an era. Thank you guys.

Kevin - I’m a diehard lifelong third generation Redskins fan and listening to you has been a core pillar of my fandom for most of my life. From listening to the pregame show En route to home games during the 2nd Gibbs stint, to being a loyal Podcast listener since leaving DC, your wisdom has been the constant through a .. volatile (!) Snyder ownership. I can’t thank you enough for dedicating your time to this team and our fans. Please don’t give up the hope as we dawn on a new era. I hope you never stop! Sincerely, Ed M

Love the show! Especially when you and Thommy get in your hilarious debates and his voice hits those high notes. Please tell him to follow through on his SBR event - maybe you could record a live podcast there - would love to buy him a beer and smoke. Keep up the great work. Please ask Cooley to explain why it seems that every college lineman wears knee braces, yet it’s rare to ever see one on a pro. Seems like the NFL could require if they really wanted to protect players. Thanks.

Great podcast
Literally look forward to this everyday. Kevin, please don’t tell me you are giving the Ron Rivera moral victory lap. This man is just beyond the competence of Jim Zorn. Ron constant swing and misses and QB and just his overall clock management blunders. He’s a slip and slide away and a back to back hook n ladder play away from being on Jim’s level. Look forward to the pod. Jarrod

Kevin - Heinicke
Please stop trying to prove you’re right about Heinicke. He is a gamer, he can make the game winning plays. I’m not saying he’s great. The offense scheme is bad. He’s been in the system, and HAS won games when the defense sucked. As for Ragland and Garrett’s comments saying guys they knew wanted Heinicke, that is 100 percent true. Ragland is probably in a couple of our guys’ weddings from their Bama days. You think the reporters are being given the truth? Stop. I’m tired of you acting like this. I’d stop listening to you if there was a local option that wasn’t terrible. I miss Czabe

Great show!
Probably the main reason I like this show is because Kevin has the best take on nearly every topic. He doesn’t go to extremes when everyone else does. His insights are very reasonable and level headed. Loverro was annoying at first, but has grown on me a bit. I enjoy the Cooley segments; I which he would be on Washington’s coaching staff. The worst part of the show is when Kevin and his guest do a 20 minute non-sport conversation although I understand how some may like that. Only recommendation would be to add time stamps for each topic of the day. Otherwise keep doing what you’re doing!

Like Fine Wine
Over the past 20 years, 0980 has always been there to get me through my commute. From Czabe to Sheehan, I’ve aged with you guys like a fine wine. I’ve endured all the lineup changes over those years, and thank God to have settled with Kevin Sheehan’s podcast. I luv Cooley’s film break downs, they make feel smarter about the details of each position within the game. However it’s King Laverro who steals the show with his “spot on” liberal perspectives. It really seems to annoy Kevin at times, causing his closet conservative/maga side to rears it’s ugly head occasionally. It provides Great balance to the show!! However, it’s time to put some respect on Tommy’s name, as “once again” he nailed it with his opinion on Wentz starting against the Brown’s. I can’t wait to bump into Tommy at Shelly’s one day soon. I just hope I can shake his hand & get a pic with him. It will help get me some “street cred” like Hall and Oats! Carl Hollingsworth

Great Podcast. Thank you so much Kevin for the podcast with Billy and highlights of that memorable NFC Championship. I was 6 urs old watching that game on our black/white television. My dad was a program seller at RFK (he was there). Our entire family was wrapped around that tv for that game. Brings back such great memories of my grandad, dad, and mom. We will forever be die hard fans. They have all passed and I in my mid fifties will always remember that year and the great years that followed. I got to share 7 seasons working with my dad at RFK. THR GLORY YEARS 1982-1989. This podcast made me laugh and cry and reminisce on our great football team we the fans rooted for. Thank you again. You and Thom are fantastic and I look forward to every day after work to listen to the top DC Podcast team. Ronnie Live in Florida Formerly of Davidsonville, Md

Lifelong Redskins fan in NC and discovered this pod a few years ago. It’s required listening in the work truck to make the day go by easier. By far and away best podcast for DC sports. Kevin keeps me up to date with all DC sports teams since I moved from DC to the Florida panhandle 8 yrs ago. Food for the Soul
Kevin has become such a part of my listening life that I would find my typical day (driving to work, walking, at the gym) so much less interesting and fun without him. I have been listening ever since he started and feel like he’s the cool brother I never had. Lots of sports talk people try too hard to be funny, hip, relevant and relational. Kevin just IS all those things. I honestly don’t think I have heard anyone who is a better communicator / speaker. Only two criticisms: sometimes goes overboard straining at gnats in play by play analysis with Cooley and is too reluctant to put the brakes on Thom when he bloviates his ultra liberal perspectives on political matters, which not all of us share.

Been listening for years. I have a 4.5 hr round trip daily commute and I’m not sure I could do it without this podcast. I listen to both podcasts - morning radio show and this one. Great podcast!
Kevin’s podcast is a must listen for any fan of sports in the DMV. His views are fair and unbiased. Love him with Thom and Cooley as well. He is the kind of person who’s very knowledgeable about the redskins/commanders but also down to earth enough to make you want to watch a game and drink a beer with. My only only criticism would be that his regular guests (Thom and Cooley) are always on a phone line instead of a zoom connection and it can be hard to hear sometimes. Other then that well done!

My Everyday Thing
I have been a huge fan since wearing Redskins jammies during the ‘72 Super Bowl with the Over the Hill Gang. I cried when Roger the Dodger crushed our playoff hopes in ‘79. I remember the fatigues, happy birthday Joe Theismann, Mosley kicking in the snow, seat cushions, “how long have you been a Black QB” and that stat of Parcells having never lost up 13 in the 4th quarter. I will never forget Don McNeil getting run over on 4th and inches, Marcus Allen’s cut back, Al Michaels call of “Sanders beats Haynes” or Mark Rypien’s awkward TD celebration. I get goosebumps to this day when I hear Herzog and the Diesel horn, Pat Summerall talking about two 12-2 teams that hate each other or Musberger’s “you are looking live at sold out RFK stadium”. Snyder almost put my flame out and I can relate with Kevin’s lost fandom. But this Podcast (and the Audacy app) keeps me going with the insightful analysis, the fun banter, the greats guest and the what ifs. It’s my go to while shuttling the kids around so much so that when they get in the car they shout, “You don’t need it, you don’t want it but you’re gonna get it anyway!” Keep up the great work - 5 stars! Soiled yourselves over soccer
I’m a DC native that has lived in Costa Rica now for 30 years. Kevin and Thom together are my favorite podcast listen. Kevin’s shows truly keep me connected to all iterations of the now Commanders (glory days and present). But, man, did you ever soil yourselves (especially Thom) while talking about World Cup soccer! Just like a brain wired to speak English may never grasp how Mandarin works, your upper-echelon sports’ brains (mostly trained in US Sports’ traditions) won’t understand the joy of soccer until you actually live the cultural experience and see, feel, celebrate, and suffer together with compatriots what the game represents to all around you on the international stage, especially during the World Cup. Kevin - come on down to Costa Rica for a World Cup qualifying match against the US in a couple of years, and we’ll help shift your perspective !!! You may even end up a TICO fan, just like Neil from Rockville.

Soccer is a good sport
Love the show. The thing I find painful about you guys talking about soccer is that I can turn on any sport with a ball and find it super interesting. That’s why I’m so surprised that my favorite duo of DC podcasters aren’t into it. I thought you guys loved all sports like me. I thought Thoms point about the indoor league really showed he didn’t get it though. I can’t imagine watching soccer where the score is 9-8 every time. What makes it so interesting is how hard it is to score. The 2010 and 2014 FIFA finals are perfect examples of this. Gripping tv that took 115 minutes until we got a goal. Again love the show but felt compelled to share my feelings.

I listen to Kevin Sheehan everyday. I’ve listened to him for years. He’s smart and truthful. He’s a huge Washington sports fan which I enjoy but he’s also dialed in on most leagues college and professional. I look forward to listening everyday. Tommy to say the Chiefs would beat international soccer teams after practicing for a minimal amount of time is ridiculous. The amount of skill and training that these players commit to is insane. Most of these international players are selected by the time they’re teenagers. Professional soccer players are unique athletes. With that said I’m a huge fan of yours as well. Keep up the good work!

Like MANY others, I'm sure, I generally listen on another platform which will remain nameless but it's how I'm able to listen to your radio show here in N GA. So that's the 1st problem, I'm sure. And yes, I know you always mention to go to Apple, but trust me I had on several occasions and just couldn't figure out exactly where to go... Well I finally figured it out today. But hey, I will happily listen to it via the Apple Podcast platform from now on. Keep up the good work guys!

Great Show
Love the Sheehan show. It always helps keep me in touch with my home town if DC now that I live in another city. Kevin is great (despite his arrogance re: the fandom superiority of gambling addicts and his clock management acumen). Thom is that cynical, grumpy friend you love to hear crap on the home team. Cooley is a must-listen and very entertaining. There. You got another review. Happy?

Just when I thought I was out…
…Kevin and Thom pull me back in!!! I have recently moved to Florida from MD and was happy to cut ties with the Commanders and all the Snyder craziness that hovers over what was once my beloved Redskins. But no, I just can’t get enough of all Kevin and Thom have to say about the DMV sports and many fun off-topic subjects. I love their pods, they come with me to the gym and to what have become my signature 5 mile walks under the Florida sun. Keep it up boys, you keep me close to home with every pod.

Love the show
It struck me while listening today that Cooley is the best football analyst there is. It’s baffling that the team fired him from the radio broadcast. One of the networks needs to back a tractor-trailer filled with cash into his driveway and convince him to return from his exile in Wyoming. I was a huge fan of The Cooley and Kevin show. Before that I listened to Cooley and Czabe every day. I am grateful that Kevin can get him to come out of the woods to talk football and whatever else. Always entertaining. The show is also great when Thom Lavero is on. Thanks Kevin. How about some more Wizards talk?

Washington defeats Philadelphia in 1996 26-21
The Philadelphia Eagles had beaten Washington 8 straight times before Leslie shepherd, Henry Ellard, Jamie Asher, B-Mitch, Ken Harvey and Gus Frerotte beat the Eagles on the road following a 7-1 start to improve to 8-3.. Taylor and his fighting “ruff puffs” just up-ended the undefeated 8-0… Eagles.. Hmmm….Kevin you have had the unfortunate pleasure of following this team as long as I have, this score is kinda’ odd no? This game felt so much like that late season 1996 Eagles game, also the 07’ MNF road game (20-12) in which no one gave us a chance to win. Cooley with that fade TD pass from Campbell in that one I see you player

Speaking of Cooley, when DSVP’s BFF Chris Cooley is on . Have really enjoyed the podcast. Kevin and Tommy episodes are the best. I’m close to Kevin’s age so am trying to keep the passion for the Redskins. The episode that Tommy was putting Kevin on the spot about going out for dinner with the wives brought back memories from high school trying to get a girl to go out with me. Telling her I’ll work it all out all you have to do is show up…no pressure I promise. We’ll do whatever you want to do . I’ll pay for everything. Bring your Mom if you want… anyway I hope you guys get it worked out. I recommend, and Tommy you may know this place, May’s Restaurant in Frederick. Great seafood restaurant. Thom Loverro, Esquire
Great legal debate today between Thom and Guttman. Thom would cut it with the best litigators. What they may both be missing on the law is that Racine’s consumer protection case is premised on the contention that a the Team’s misrepresentations about the toxic culture and harassment are material to the decision of DC residents to purchase tickets or merch. That’s the legal hook. If it is, then there’s a potential consumer protection claim. If not, then the case must fail. Carl

Cooley saves it
Probably a little harsh because listening to galdi ever day this show isn’t in the same stratosphere. Kevin doesn’t have the same mind as a galdi but still has its moments. Starting to turn into a skip baylessien agenda where Kevin will beat a point he made preseason over and over to prove how smart he is. And is even worse when he does this by spewing his agenda to good guests. Cooley being on is why this wasn’t a 2 star. As he is gold as long as Kevin doesn’t try to steal the spotlight when he’s on. Kevin is at his best with thom when they can talk about off the field stuff like Snyder. But when Kevin tries to breakdown on the field he’s very limited.

I reference Kevin as “my guy” when I talk about the Redskins/ WFT/ commanders literally only listen to other pod cast when this one is not available cause he was not able to do one..... love the whole thing except for the Terps talk and that’s where I’m glad you got that skip ahead button being from OLE WV could care less about the 🐢.. Found Kevin years ago looking for a place to listen to Redskins info in wv started listening and haven’t stopped. I would listen daily to him and Thom and Redksins at 1. These 2 were my get away in life while my wife was going through Leukemia they were my daily get away to step out of reality for a bit and listen. My wife is good now my daughter is at GW for the fall semester so hope to be in the city from time to time to listen live to radio but will never stop the pod… Thanks for what you do. Great pod and great insight into the dysfunction of DC
Kevin does a great job of breaking down all things Redskins/commanders. Him and Thom are genuinely funny and when Kevin gets Thom worked up it’s a blast. It’s also a great place to hear from Cooley who is beloved by all redskins fans that saw him play. If we all somehow get the blessing of the Snyder’s getting kicked out of ownership I am scared to think of what they will talk about if the organization gets remotely functional. Kevin is a gem, come to this show to hear about the terrific exploits of Washington legends such as Kirk Cousins, Kurt Cousins, and Chris Cooley. On a more serious note, my wife was listening in the car with me during a Cooley episode and had to ask “Do these guys not like each other?” The next hour was spent explaining the Kevin-Cooley dynamic and why it’s so great. SportsFix Redux
The show is great, especially on “Thommy Thuesdays and Thursdays” aka SportFix Redux. Kevin should purchase the Chad Dukes’ Loverro intro for those shows. My only gripe is that I think Kevin is starting to slip a little. For example, in his breakdown of the recent win over Green Bay, he completely glossed over the BEAUTIFUL leather jacket that Taylor Heinecke wore in his post game interview. It was black leather with a gold collar with black trim gold trim and burgundy leather on the shoulder blades. But here’s the thing— because nobody (including Kevin) talked about it, I didn’t get to see where the jacket was from! It was a beautiful jacket…

Kevin I just wanted to leave a review and say that this podcast has really helped me get through some long days at grad school. Having Cooley back two times a week brings back so much nostalgia and it’s just great to hear you guys discuss the team. Cooley has always been a guy I looked up to and was the reason I played TE growing up and in college. I’m 23 so my whole life has been Snyder and at this point I’m numb. 10 out of 5 stars when it’s just Kevin or when he has Cooley, SVP or anyone else on. I think he has the smartest takes and listening helps me stay connected to the hometown, having lived all over the country. 0 out of 5 stars with Loverro. Simply don’t and won’t listen. His takes on Aaron Rodgers and the vaccine a few months ago were the final straw. So incredibly misinformed and ignorant. Surprised Sheehan tolerates it, frankly. The KS Show is funny and informative, a rare mix for sure, but I can honestly say I laugh out loud and learn something new every day - and yes I listen every day! Kevin, the Spockian Pragmatist and Outraged Thommy could do a great stand up act together by arguing about anything. Get these guys disagreeing about candy or q tips and you’ll laugh and actually stay interested. Tommy's journalism expertise ensures that no one escapes accountability. - Stephen in Germany P.S. As you chronicled the Washington football team scandals Last week, I realized how much I have forgotten about Dan Snyder. As congressional interest mounts, I think the situation is ripe for a book that reminds all of us, especially national media, about the scandals over Snyder’s tenure. Don't you think that Tommy is the one to write it? Wouldn’t it be great if Tommy delivered the final nail in the coffin of Dan Snyder’s ownership of the Washington football team?

"Payne is weakness leaving the body"
Something my old football coach used to say. And by that logic us Skins/WFT/Commie fans are the strongest people on the planet. 30 years of mediocrity at best is becoming hard to stomach. Watching the game this past weekend against Dallas I pondered just watching the ravens game but couldn't bring myself to end the masochism. I appreciate the non koolaid takes. As well as the analytical breakdowns Cooley provides and the ever comedic repartee between you and Thom. Can't forget about Doc who seemingly is the only organization adjacent person to seem to truly get it. Anyway thanks for being consistent and helping us laugh at the misery that is our football team. Why isn’t anyone honest
Kevin, Great pod, I wanted to ask why aren’t any of the local beat reporters, and radio guys asking Ron real questions? You were on the 85 Bears defense why can’t you get it right? Why do you FA bargin bin shop? the results are bottom bin? They call you riverboat Ron and with any foresight I am sure you could have traded up a few spots to get Micah Parsons but you stood firm for Jammin Davis. If you really wanted Russell Wilson you should have told his agent he would get 5percent ownership of the team. But alas he picked a team with no owner. Lastly why do play everyone out of position or sign free agents and expect them to play a new way? Why is he not being asked any of these questions

More Thommy & Kevin
I grew up in the 80s in Chevy Chase during the glory years of the skins. Working overseas for 10 years, I enjoy listening to Kevin about the Frankenstein of a team we have back home. The best is when the Grand Pooba Thommy is on. Then I feel like I am back in the DC area. I just love it no matter what they are talking about. Pax et caritas

Best Commanders (redskins) show!
I live in Puerto Rico and have been a lifelong Skins/Commanders fan… my kids even know the intro to Levin’s shows. While I may not always agree with their analysis, I love the show. In the end, I don’t want to listen to myself… I want to hear other perspectives and you’ll never feel cheated here! Love the dynamic with Thom! Love the show so much I’m writing this review during a hurricane! Gregorio J.

This Pod is the Absolute Best in the Business
This podcast is by far the best in the business. You can tell that Kevin is the kind of guy that you can sit down and talk about anything with. You pick the subject, Kevin can sit and talk about it thoughtfully with you. Obviously his sports stuff is the best but it’s everything else that makes this podcast truly special. His regular guests Cooley and Thom are the greatest for totally different reasons. I live in Massachusetts and I listen daily. Thank you Kevin and everyone that makes this show possible.

Must listen, especially during football season
I mainly listen to the show for Washington football and general NFL talk, but all of the other content is great too. Kevin and Thom are outstanding. Love when Cooley joins also.

Fair Catch Free kick
Kevin and Thom are must-listen in football season, and no slacks the rest of the year either. But when they play dumb and dumber, EVEN BETTER. Yes, Thom didn’t know the fair catch free kick rule, but apparently you didn’t either, Kevin. There is NO snap that you described. The kick is made from the spot of the fair catch without a rush, snap or scrimmage at all. Keep it up!! Always fun to find the mistakes.

Kevin & Thommy da best
I am a skins since 1982 from Bethesda. Today, I root against the Dannys/Commanders. Yet, I love listening to Kevin and Thommy. I wait with anticipation for Tuesdays and Thursdays. I dream of a daily dose with both talking about anything. I enjoy the non-sports discussions just the same. I dream of an episode after Kevin has watched the wire and Thommy has watched GoT.

The Most honest DC sports Pod
Kevin and Thom. Great Pod and has been a daily listen for years. You guys bring a voice to fans like me, who where once diehard, passionate Washington Football fans and after years of being let down, struggle to decide whither or not 1:00pm on a beautiful fall day is better spent watching Stranger Things, GOT, Breaking Bad or The Wire.

Kevin delivers the best discussion on DMV sports
As a Washington sports fan who grew up in MD but living in the NY area now, I depend on this show to deliver the up to date info I need to stay in touch with Commanders, Caps and other local sports stories of the day. Kevin - your ability to provide listeners with an intelligent and very easy listen is on point every day. I somehow find your views in sync with mine 90% of the time! Love the podcast - don't change a thing!! I've even grown to like Thom Lovero!

Sabah with another Review to give you credit you deserve
Hey Kevin… listening to your podcast now… I’m gonna give you another 5 stars… But Cooley was a Cop Out in saying Wentz was “OK” even though he admitted Wentz “missed Gibson as a check down” on the 3rd Down sack vs KC.. knocking us out of FG range… YET Cooley did Not get a chance to see Heinicke’s Awesome Drive for a TD?? Then he has the audacity to say “ Heinicke is comfortable as a 2 with the 2’s”… Please Please Please bring Logan Paulsen for Film Review Unless Cooley decides to Dedicate his time and effort to Actual Film Review! Cooley at 50% is < Paulsen at 100%. Don’t hurt your credibility begging for Cooley to give you less than his ample time necessary for the job you are giving him. Move on to people who treat film review seriously. You and your fans have earned that! Love you Kev and especially Love when you are on with Thom😘

Makes the commute so much better
As a displaced Washington Commanders fan (getting used to the name), Kevin Sheehan’s podcast makes me feel close to DC, despite being 550 miles west. It’s great sports analysis along with TV show references, which make my day and bring long lost memories growing up in Montgomery county. Plus, the production quality is top notch. The Kevin Sheehan Podcast is a must listen if you’re a DC sports fan.

Bad Addiction
I’m a DC native (DeMatha/Mount St. Mary’s) who married a Jersey girl so I’ve lived in Bradley Beach. It’s the Jersey Shore town that Kevin neglects to mention after he visits tonier Spring Lake. Kevin is a must listen as our ages, DC/Terps affinities and life experiences are not dissimilar. I also share his tortured allegiance to the once great professional football team. With regards to Thom, I vacillate between wanting to buy him a beer or punching him in the face. Keeps me connected to home.

The Kevin and Thommy Show
These guys are great, I still listen when Thom isn’t on because I really like Kevin’s takes on the Commanders and Washington sports, however this show is gold when the “not so dynamic” duo are on together. Also squid game isn’t a reality show, it’s a fake drama about a reality show where the contestants literally die. That conversation was like listening to my grandparents try to figure out what Tik Tok is! Love the show, keep it up!

You never listen to your partner…
Kevin, Great show! The content, Washington sports and otherwise is always entertaining. Your relationships with your guests and partners is always sincere and make us listeners feel part of the show. You spent a lot of time the other day talking about Jon Banks and as soon as he was mentioned, I said to myself “he was the first ever guest on the Cigars and Curveballs” podcast and of course I know he’s from here and went to Northwood High School. He graduated with my dad and they are still good friend. In fact, when Thommy asked him if he wanted to shout out to any of the guys from back in the old neighborhood, my dad was the first guy he mentioned. We’ve followed his career closely and always get excited when we see him on TV. Keep up the good work and pay attention! Rich Meikejohn

Thom is the Golden Goose
It figures that after the great Thom Loverro reaches the final in the best sports media personality challenge for the DC market, Kevin decides to have him on the show two days in a row. After getting crushed in his opening round matchup, Kevin must now realize who the Golden Goose is.

Favorite podcast
Hey Kevin. The show is great! When you and Thom are together it’s like I’m hanging out with friends. Get Cooley back on soon. I don’t care if he never talks football again. I just want to hear his latest stories of losing his phone, keys, license, kids….whatever. And when it comes to our football team (I can’t call them the C word), listening to you and your guests talk about the team is much more entertaining than the team itself. Im almost 50. I used to LOVE this team. I would never miss a game, and I would hardly ever miss a play. Now? I would take 0-17 year after year if it means Snyder would sell. It’s our only hope. Oh well, at least I have your show! Thanks.
