Fills My Heart & Refreshes My Spirit!
A few weeks ago, our pastor preached a sermon on joy. I decided to do a search on the podcast app to search for podcasts about living a life of joy. I stumbled upon Joyfilled With Jenna, & I am SO glad I did. Every week, she has challenged me from a Biblical perspective to reshape my mindset & recognize my own personal value as a Mama. Her prayer at the end of each podcast always fills my heart & refreshes my spirit for the week. It’s like the Biblical bestie you need to speak Life into you just when you need it! Thank you, Jenna!

Amazing podcast!
It is my first time listening to Jenna & I have to say, I am so thankful that I decided to listen to her podcast on my walk to pickup my daughter from preschool. It was so enriching to my soul & I felt understood & validated ♥️ I love the suggestions she gave & the empathy that she expressed towards other mamas who are in the season of staying at home with their littles. So blessed by her podcast & look forward to listening to her other ones 💕 God bless you, Jenna!

A Mom group must have!
Our small town church just started up a new mom group and we have been listening to this podcast as part of our meet ups. A must have! We all relate to the topics and it sparks great conversations on how we can all find true joy in the roles of motherhood God has set for us. Highly recommend this podcast to other mamas looking for a little extra encouragement with a Christian base- not just the young moms but the older ones like myself! Love it!

Filled up my cup!!!
I typed in ‘motherhood’ before I started my morning walk, and this podcast was the first one that popped up. I knew immediately that the Lord lead me to this one after the morning I had. Thank you, Jenna, for a wonderful podcast that made me cry on my morning walk and made me feel like you were right beside me, encouraging me, and praying directly over me.

In the words of one of my littles, “Ahh, that’s just what I needed!”
I don’t do podcasts (mostly because there’s always little voices filling my ears) but my husband does which led me to looking for something for my kids to listen to in the car. Then I kept on and found something for myself. It’s taken multiple starts and stops to get through three episodes but I’ve loved each one and they were “just what I needed.” My first is 6 and my fourth is 4 months. We are in that little jam! We also homeschool so it’s a constant state 24/7. I have struggled with finding real friendships and having joy in my home (because I feel like discipline between the three older ones is always ongoing and it wears me down too). I appreciate the thoughts shared here and the real day to day application. God purposed Jenna for this and Praise Him she is obedient to His leading!

The encouragement I need!
I’m new here, and I think I binged five episodes back to back as I cleaned my house after the little’s bedtime tonight. I’m currently in a season of transition, hurt, loneliness, and longing in so many ways… With tears in my eyes I cleaned and prayed late into the night as I listened & have been encouraged in all of these areas. What a blessing it’s been to come across this podcast tonight. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Episode 43 was everything I needed!
I’ve been struggling with motherhood and trying to find this joy I am supposed to feel. I feel the joy but it comes and goes. It isn’t constant. I’ve been battling with trying to find the constant. I’ve also been trying to find the purpose. This episode put so much into perspective for me. Shifting my way of thinking. Thank you for helping me find my purpose. I could thank you a million times more but the disciples are calling!

Best podcast for new moms!!
I felt like God lead me to this podcast. I was my most anxious and depressed when I found it and her encouraging words changed everything for me. “Motherhood is a calling!! & we are called to make disciples. We don’t need to go out and reach others. The people we are discipling are in our own home.” I am truly finding joy in all of the mundane tasks now as a stay at home mom. I am so so thankful that she was obedient to God’s calling to encourage other mamas in this season. I will be praying she continues to follow God’s lead in this. I am tremendously blessed by this podcast!!❤️

I absolutely love this podcast! I started listening to it late in my third trimester and just recently got back into listening. After starting this podcast again I didn’t realize how much truth Jenna speaks about God and being a joy filled mom. I’m a working mom with a 10 week old daughter and have been lacking joy due to circumstances. But because of her hard truths I have remembered to find my joy in who Jesus is! Thank you Jenna for speaking truth and reminding me that I am called for this!

Loved this podcast! I have gone through mindset training in the past, so I love how she talked about a perspective shift. So much of our lives is determined on what we allow ourselves to think. Thank you for the reminder that we are not made to dwell on negative thoughts or circumstances but that we have been given a gift to raise our children up in the ways of Jesus. God bless!

Answered Prayer!
Praise JESUS; had you not followed your mama heart, my prayer would not be answered right now. However, your podcast on ways creative ways for stay-at-home moms to make money from home reminded me that I AM A WRITER! And despite my concerns about whether or not the load of a job and my duties will overcome me with physical handicaps, He has made us uniquely qualified. God bless you. Thank you so much for praying too at theEnd of the podcast. I felt like I was in your home having a cup of coffee. God bless you sister. In faith, Signed: Your new fan, theChaplain’sSpouse

This is an essential podcast for Moms!
I have searched a long time for a podcast that would help me feel encouraged and help me with my mindset, this is it! The first time I listened to an episode I almost cried because I knew I found it. She makes you feel like you are sitting down together chit chatting and at the same time she is encouraging and lifting you up the entire time. I have only listened to 3 episodes (just right now… trust me I plan to listen to them all!) but just the few I’ve listened to have given me SUCH great ideas and inspired me to have such a great day with my kids AND giving me a great Christian perspective and attitude. Seriously, this is the podcast all stay at home moms need in their life!

This is the best podcasts for moms!
Being a new stay at home mom after being a working mom, going through a hard time and coming out of postpartum depression, I have to say this podcast is so helpful for me. I cry every time she prays at the end of an episode I feel like she’s specifically praying for me and I can’t tell you how thankful I am. Sometimes you just need someone to tell you you’re doing a good job and God is on your side.

Simplicity is where it’s at! 💕
It’s as though a friend sits down on the couch with you and speaks into your life! It’s relaxed and conversational, sometimes you just need simple truth spoken from someone else to remind you who you are and that you can do this…with God’s help and joy! Thank you Jenna! I am also blessed by the prayer at the end! It cuts through the walls I sometimes have up and opens my heart to receive the truth and Love of our Father! Thank you for praying over me! ❤️

Best Mama Podcast
There are plenty of podcasts out there about being a mama, a stay at home mama, and a christian mama. NONE of them are as great as Joy Filled!! Jenna is so joyful and peaceful. She doesn’t cast any judgement, but wisdom and discernment upon each mama as we listen and soak in her every word. I binged Joy Filled episodes on a 3 hour solo trip and I adore Jenna’s heart, spirit and soul. I highly, highlyyyyy recommend this podcast to any weary mama who just wants to feel loved, encouraged and embraced by the Word of God!

Wish she was podcasting six years ago..
I have three kids the oldest one being six and the youngest is gonna be three months. I wish she was there for me to listen to when I had my oldest! I was 19 years old having my first …followed depression and anxiety and I didn’t know who to talk to. Yes I had close relatives and I have a church but that’s not what I needed at the time. I needed somebody that understood! She is absolutely right! Her podcasts are on repeat all the time and it’s like she’s talking about me every time I listen to her. It’s so encouraging! I’m in love! I have found the perfect podcast! She brings in a little bit of Jesus a little bit of every day a little bit of encouragement a little bit of laughter and a lot of joy and truth! And all of that together in her 20 minute podcast brightens my day! thanks×100♥️🙏🏼

From Joyless to Joy Filled
I am Mama to beautiful little girl named Kennedy. When Kennedy was conceived I was in the mist of a toxic relationship. She wasn’t planned in my timing but I knew all my life I wanted to be a Mommy. Like you said us and our babies are match made in heaven! Even though me and my daughter’s birth father didn’t work God placed a Godly man in our lives. Loves my daughter as his own. So on to how found you my new mom bestie! I just prescribed anxiety and depression medication after I had a major panic attack. I started take my medicine and it helped but I still was so sad because I couldn’t find any connections with other Mom’s. So I was curious about podcasts and I looked up Christian Mom’s. Boom! Your podcast came up. I laughed, cried and felt totally at peace. Mostly I found out what I needed. I need to put God back in my motherhood. So thank you Jenna for being a friend I so desperately needed and God for giving the words I desperately needed!! ❤️

I love this podcast, but…
I just want to start with saying how much I love this podcast and appreciate the insight that you share. I recommend this too all my friends with littles. I currently have two, a 1yo and a 2yo and am considering a third and considering going back to start my masters because of this podcast. With that said, the only thing I am not a fan of is the random add for your skin care products in the middle of a point I really needed to hear. I was listening intently and then was seriously confused when you went from “taking action” to “check out my skin care set that I sell” and then back to a verse from Proverbs. I understand why you put it in the middle so that way it was heard, but it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Everything else about this is wonderful. You have great insight and are so positive and hopeful. I really love what you have to say.

As a mama to two little ones, I find Jenna to be so encouraging and relatable. Love listening to her point us mamas to Jesus in a very real and practical way as we raise our babies. Over and over I find that her episodes are exactly what I need to hear - Christ-focused encouragement sprinkled with practical tips. So good!

I just recently found a love for podcasts. My best friend Sarah introduced me to yours and I absolutely love it. I feel like you are speaking to me and the things I struggle with or have thought about at some point in time since becoming a momma. Thank you for being honest and sharing what you’ve learned with all of us! God bless you and your family! 💕

So glad you decided to make a podcast:) this is exactly what I needed on my drive to work today. I woke up exhausted because yet AGAIN my 3 month old needed a middle of the night feed, and even though I’ve been working all weekend, I haven’t gotten more than 3 consecutive hours of sleep and am EXHAUSTED and just really needed some encouragement and I got it from your podcast. Can’t wait to listen to more!

Finding a New Routine
I’m not a “podcast” girl...but I found myself really struggling to make time for the Lord. Working from home with 2 wild boys, has me stretched thin daily. So I thought to myself “let’s see if there’s something I can turn on just to help me FEEL connected to the Lord”. I’m so glad I ran across this podcast. It has changed the way I do mornings, which in turn has changed the way my whole day goes. I find myself being a much more joyful mom. Getting my day started out with encouragement and practical tips to stay engaged and intentional throughout all the mommy struggles.

Good, Holy Work
Episode 9 has convicted me in the most beautiful way. I have considered myself a pretty strong, Spirit-Filled Christian for years. I’ve even worked in church ministries. But, admittedly, having 3 babies 5 and under, and doing it mostly on my own, has rocked my world. My husband works long hours and is gone half of every month. And, neither of our extended families are dependable, so I have literally had little to no support system. Having worked while being married for 8 years before we had children put this deep longing in my heart. I’ve missed friends and working in general, so I have started working from home. This job has brought more joy into my life, yet I have so much guilt for not being completely fulfilled with being a stay at home mother. I sometimes feel so far away, even when I listen to worship throughout my day. However, your episode blessed me so much. I’ve had such a hard time adjusting to motherhood when it comes spending quiet time with the Lord. And, when my littles interrupt that quiet time, I feel slight resentment— and then, of course, guilt, lol. I just know that although I’ve had a continuous relationship with the Lord, you encouraged me to start my day by literally inviting Jesus to dwell with me. Somehow, I lost sight of this and am so grateful for the reminder. You feel like a friend I’ve needed. Thank you for your podcast; it is good, holy work! 💕

Jenna is like a best friend
Jenna is hilarious and completely spot on with this whole mothering thing. I am a momma of six beautiful babies. Yes six! The oldest is 16 and the youngest just turned a year old. I am so blessed to have the privilege of staying at home with them however I will say this is by far the HARDEST job in the world. There are lots of days I feel like an emotional roller coaster and just about everyday I look like a train wreck. It is so comforting to listen to Jenna talk about everything she has or is going through because I can completely relate to her. We are all in this together and it’s hard. Jenna does an amazing job with pointing us back to God and going to him with our worries. Gods plan is always perfect and he chose us to be the mama we are to our babies.

Jenna, what took me so long to find you!! I’m a new subscriber and finally found the perfect Christian mama podcast that I’ve been craving. You are so real, so encouraging and literally feel like you are peeking into my brain and heart to speak through Christ of what my heavy heart needs! Thank you for the encouragement to keep pressing on. I’m a 2nd time mom with a lot on my plate this time around. Seeking community as a stay at home mom
Hi Jenna , My name is Arianna and I am a month we of one very spirited 7yr old girl. I have so much to say, so I’ll try and keep it short. When my daughter was very small I decided to leave my husband and found myself, a single mother as well as a new one. Your podcast opened my eyes and heart to past experiences and my feelings around and helped me to see my worth ( Even though at the time I couldn’t) My yoga practice has done for me what following Jesus has done for you. I am not as much of a religious person as I am spiritual but I have a routine and meditation practice that sounds a lot like your bible practice . Lastly, I love how you come at motherhood and being a woman, as well as, all the other hats that we as women wear, from a very nurturing and compassionate place in your heart. This is really what I have been looking for this kind of podcast in my life. With gratitude and love, Namaste Arianna

So so so needed!
I found this podcast a few weeks ago. I was looking for a mama and Jesus related podcast to listen to in the mornings while I have my coffee and get my day started. Jenna’s words have gotten me through the day somedays. I had my second baby in February and knew the PPD was returning but it honestly feels more manageable on days when I listen to Jenna. My relationship with Jesus has started to reform and I just feel like I am embracing who I am as a women and mother. Thank you Jenna!!

Thank you so much for following your calling on this podcast, Jenna! I just had my 3rd baby in 4 years and it can be A LOT!!! After my 3rd baby I became a SAHM & my husband works a ton of hours! It’s great to listen and know that I’m not alone. I love implementing the things you do into my day & it makes our days so much smoother! I love jumping on and hearing something uplifting and positive in a world where people talk so negatively about the early years of motherhood. Excited to keep listening!

Thank you Jenna!
I am pretty new to podcasts, but I decided to search for one today. This one’s title jumped out at me. I mean, who doesn’t want to find more joy as a Momma? Let’s face it, not many talk about how hard it is, at times, to shepherd the tiny humans. The first episode I listened to about finding time with Jesus in our business was a balm to my soul. “He is calling us to walk with him and talk with him and learn his unforced rhythms of grace”- this was Earth shaking for me. UNFORCED-it is not a chore or another thing to check off my list. His friendship is free and available and it is supposed to look like me. That is not only ok, but perfect. Thank you! Thank you!

So thankful I found this podcast. So many things Jenna says resonate with me. As a stay at home mom, this podcast has changed my perspective. God has called us to this season, yes it can be crazy but it’s also so so joyful. It’s taught me that even in the busyness we still have time to seek Gods face and we don’t have to sacrifice our relationship with him. Thanks Jenna for sharing your heart, wisdom, and truth!

Answer to prayer
I just found this podcast and I am so glad! I don’t normally review or comment on podcasts but I had to say that this podcast is an answer to prayer. We just found out we are pregnant with number two and I am a bit scared. I had a long battle with ppd and I am just getting back to a balanced, healthy place (baby #1 is almost 2). I started looking for resources to help me spiritually and as a mama. That’s when I found this podcast. After one episode I knew I was in the right place. Thank you for sharing your story and pointing me to Jesus. You are a breath of fresh air. Keep it up!

Finding time for God
This podcast was so relatable and encouraging for me! I already do some of the suggestions occasionally but always worry it isn't enough. However, it is in those moments I always feel closest to God! It was so encouraging to hear another mama that finds time for God in worship music, in podcasts, or during a shower. Thank you for your words and encouragement to invite Jesus into our homes each morning. As a mama of 3 littles I know it wouldn’t be possible without him!

Amy knows that so many of us feel dissatisfied and empty—emotionally, physically, and even spiritually. Our lives are rushed, overflowing, and we’re low on joy, fulfillment, peace, and purpose. In our spare moments, we turn to our phones, social media, and a million other little things, desperate for relief, but over time, these distractions become an unhealthy diet for our souls—uplifting us for a moment but ultimately denying us the nourishment we need. When we over consume these imposters that promise a temporary boost but actually leave us weak and weary, we become anxious, fearful, and depleted. These addicting substitutes keep us coming back for more, never providing satisfaction. But, Amy reminds us, there is hope. We don’t have to stay stuck and malnourished. We can become free of shame, disappointment, and anxiety. Today, Amy Seiffert shares with us how to stop ingesting spiritual junk food and offers simple and replenishing practices like silence, service, and Sabbath that can bring us closer to Jesus. She encourages us to put down our phones, set aside our pride, and let go of the hustle so that we can receive a spiritual diet change that will leave us delightfully content, spiritually healthy, and free to experience the goodness of Jesus.
