Join Lauren along with her sister Sarah, and her brother-in-law Josh, as one of them runs us through a gratitude practice - they do this every night before dinner, as this is the time they are all available to reconnect, to check in, and to take a moment to all pause together - blessing each meal and moment for the day with a dash of gratitude. Join in with any moment of the day that you are needing a attitude of gratitude (it doesn't just have to be when you're eating...but it's a nice place to start!).

GRATITUDE INTERLUDE 45
The Hey Lo Effect Podcast
I can do it with background noise. We was little I was going into play mode, so we might have some legit background noise.
That's all right. While we take our comfortable seat, then maybe chaos going on in the background, which is probably a bit like the analogy of life we can sit and chill out while the rest of the world spins. And this is a really awesome quality and try to try to obtain a different stages of life.
Now just focus on your breasts, even with ongoing distractions going on.
How do you focus yourself in ground yourself when it is just going off around you? How you the one who stays calm or do you get thrown into the stress of the chaos going on?
So notice what your breath doesn't even notice. If your eyes are twitching or difficult for your body to stay still?
But the Temptations even open your eyes and get thrown into what is going on.
And then just tracing back to the beginning of your day wherever that started for you whether was challenging or if it was a really great day.
funny moment where you can find some gratitude weather that, you know, it's just the fact that you woke up and you were breathing
well, the fact that you have shelter and safety,
maybe it's just the fact that you're grateful to have the perspective of gratitude.
I'm just by having this quality and really working on it, you can hear already that the dogs have settled even though, you know, they might be pacing around a little bit but this is just a really good example of when we reflect calmness.
Confidence and gratitude, it really does have that ripple effect to the people and the animals and everything that goes on around us. Sorry, I'm really grateful for having a road trip today. Josh and going out to meet some new people getting out of that Comfort sign and also getting to Nara shell self. And you know, mine but also when I'm 40, like just having this little treats that we get Wheelock have coffee,
sometimes you get like a little protein bowl or something as well.
And we sent each other throughout the day of just being able to have these kinds of moments and conversations.
I just get forever grateful of that a lot throughout every day that I'm that I'm being here and in every day that I plan to moving forward. So, thank you for being a complete Legend and supportive and are open to allow me to be vulnerable. And to share. And yet just allows for this really growing, and loving space. So let's faced on this beautiful meal. It's not really being prepared with love and gratitude, but
From all of the steps beforehand that allowed or parts of it to grow in the fields.
Let's just feel at buddies and now mine with nutritious content.

The part where he mentions that he wants to be adopted by a more functional family even at 45 yrs really hits home. Really delineates how no matter how old and independent you are, you still need love and support.2 months ago·5 likes·
