Part of Hey well balanced breakfast?
I discovered this podcast from the TikTok channel. Compared to the other movie podcast out there it’s really good. They do a good job of saying how they felt when they first saw it as kids if they did and then comparing it to how it holds up today . It’s a refreshing mix of commentary and comedy. I am hoping that they do cover more 2000s movies in the see in the future, like gladiator, X-Men, or holes. otherwise great job y’all.

I found a clip of the podcast on TikTok and I just had to check out your show. I went to the beginning of your catalog and am going through a bunch of old episodes. As a 90s kid, these movies are a major nostalgic factor.

Cowabunga dudes!
I love listening to podcasts about how things have been made in entertainment from movies, TV shows, and everything in between. These guys do an amazing job talking about everything from the golden age of renting movies from Blockbuster and such. I love how they give the behind the scenes and some fun facts on how whatever they are talking about was made. Because of their strong language at times, I can’t really listen to the show around my kids but that’s OK because this really isn’t for them, it’s for me. so if you want to enjoy that little flashback from yesteryears and know how that movie or TV show is made, this is the podcast for you.

I gotta go, we got cows!
Guys, c’mon! Why haven’t you done an episode on Twister? This is a movie that I know all the way through, scene by scene. As horrible as it is, it’s still a classic to me. From the cheesy one liners, multiple continuity errors, and a guy who serves absolutely no purpose other than to get a minor cut on his forehead. This movie has a ton to offer for this show. Love what you guys are doing. Nostalgia score: 9.2 Current day score: 5.7

I’m a little bit older than you…
…that being said. I’m glad the Machine turned me on to this podcast. All my favorite movies plus ones that some how pasted me by. I stopped in the middle of soundtrack episode to watch Empire Records…twice. This is the best podcast if you are a cinemaphile from the 80’s and 90’s. Keep up the work, Let’s go Blues. PS I’m pretty sure Patreon member Janelle Louis is my cousin. How many Janelle Louis’ could there be in the world?

Spoilers!⚠️
I did that⬆️ for AJ’s reaction and can hear him saying it now! You three make my Wednesdays! And though I’ve already seen most of the movies you’ve reviewed MANY times, which is awesome. When I saw that The Great Outdoors was in the mix I knew I had found my people. You’ve gotten me to check out some that I haven’t seen but probably should have because I want to be able to follow along. This is my favorite podcast. I enjoy the format and how you actually go over scene by scene. Keep it up the great work guys and have a wonderful day!

Nothing Compares 2U
I have tried getting into listening to podcasts before. This is the only one that i have found that makes me care about the format. I am listening to the past episodes while eagerly waiting for the next new episode. Finished my last bottle of Cedar Ridge since moving away from CR and your cast keeps urging me to order a new bottle. Would love to see you guys do Blade. Would the MCU exist without this flick?

Yeah, it’s okay I guess
Literally one of my favorite podcasts. I didn’t have a *great* childhood and my only saving grace was watching 80s movies over and over again and pretending that was my life, which just resulted in me being a freakshow adult screaming about and quoting movies that no one my age really cares about (I’m a LATE 90s baby, sorry grandpa Mike). Listening to this pod makes me feel like I’m hanging out with my stinky older brothers and having the time of my life. Is that sad? Anyways luv it luv u okeee byeeee

If I could give zero stars I would…
But I physically cannot because this podcast is freaking awesome. I never had any idea that what I do shamefully in my alone time (picking apart movies and drinking whiskey) could make such a good podcast, but I think that is due to the fantastic hosts. Love these dudes, and I wish them a prosperous and fulfilling podcast career.

Amazing Podcast for every Gen Xer
My father passed in February of 2022. I was in a rough place and found you on TikTok. I started listening as these were the movies I grew up listening too. I remember going to the dollar theater with my dad for almost everyone of these films. Your podcast has really helped me with the memories and happiness. I love the podcast and look forward to more. One movie I used to watch as a child was Camp Nowhere and I would love to hear you do a review on it.

Where is Jim Carrey?!
I have been listening to your guys’ podcast for a while. I have heard every single podcast and have loved every second of it. I have a major issue that has to be addressed right here and now. You guys have not reviewed a single movie with actor Jim Carrey! I honestly don’t think you have mentioned him at all. You guys need to review The Mask, Ace Ventura, and lastly Dumb and Dumber. You can review all of them, one of them or none of them. But just know, I will forever resent you guys every time I hear the podcast if a movie starring Jim Carrey is not reviewed. All jokes, love the podcast and HIGHLY RECOMMEND for guaranteed laughs. -Chris

A five star review.
This five star review is a review of the podcast “Confused Breakfast.” This is a sentence stating that this podcast deserves five stars from anyone who has ever heard this podcast. This is a mid paragraph sentence stating how much fun I have had listening to the gentlemen both praise and eviscerate the movies from my childhood, and some others I haven’t seen. This is a concluding sentence stating I wish I could hang out with these gentlemen, and enjoy some random film from the era of some of the best movies on the history of earth. 🤣 a complete blast. Thank you fellas. Keep them coming.

Best of the best
Hi dudes! I was introduced to you through a random tik tok that came up on my for you page which had a couple clips from your episode of The Shining, which is my all time favorite movie. As it being my GOAT Movie, I thought I had heard all theories and little things to notice about this film, until you talked about the ghost window in the office and the two different Grady names. Instantly hooked on the podcast and I gotta say I’m so glad I found you guys, incredible podcast, so funny, really cool theories. All around 5/5 stars, 10/10. Hope you guys do some more classic horror movies such as maybe Nightmare On Elm Street or Friday The 13th! P.S. found out I’m only 3 hours away from Cedar Ridge, living in southern Minnesota! Keep on making incredible content guys!

Comfort Podcast
Hey you GUYYYYs! So I am a soon to be Dad who was in a bit of a rut. I work full time and am an aspiring fiction writer on the side, but having not been feeling my best lately(health issues, and the stresses of the world, I definitely need a vacation) . I have always loved movies and find myself in the trying times leaning on the familiar favorites that bring me the joy and comfort needed. Stumbling onto your pod(via tik tok) I noticed so many of my go to flicks(Goonies, Stand By Me, Dazed+Confused, The BC, Home alone, T2, etc) and was instantly hooked . The banter, trivia level knowledge, and excellenet chemistry has me not only strolling down memory lane but learning stuff about movies I’ve already seen too many times to count. I’m writing this with my faithful dog, wearing his Goonies collar curled up next to me, and yes the the baby on the way already has a hey you guys onsie purchased. The Confused Breakfast is a 10/10 podcast and 11/10 group of guys. Sincerely, Chunk, Captain Chunk GNSD

Nostalgia Overload
This is a must listen to podcast, the hosts are great, and the show reminds me of having similar conversations with my friends about these classic movies. These guys manage to bring up the little details that have totally slipped my mind! There’s also there an odd phenomenon, every time I listen to an episode, that movie tends to be on cable, so I must continue to listen…

I couldn’t be happier with this podcast! Everything about it oozes childhood nostalgia. It truly makes me yearn for the video store rental days! Hearing the guys speak to each other the way my siblings & I speak to each other about the movies we love is a literal laugh out loud experience. I’m not confused, y’all are the best
My dudes, this is simply the best podcast around. I bust up laughing every single episode. I brace myself for your harsh criticisms of my favorite movies and then lose my mind in belly giggles when I realize I agree with all of your takes. Currently cherry-picking through the movies i know well, and then I plan to watch the ones I don’t know and follow up with your episode later. Thank you for providing much needed escape from life for an hour or so, where I can reminisce about movie stores and sitting on the floor of the living rooM with a giant bowl of popcorn and an ice cold Mountain Dew while watching Surf Ninjas on rental for the fourth time this year. Thank you.

I’ve been listening to your podcast everyday to and from work the past couple weeks playing catch-up. I’m on Harry and the Henderson and am loving it. You guys have helped me through a very difficult time in my life where I’ve needed to laugh and get my mind of serious things and I want to say thank you. Keep kicking butt. I cant wait till I’m all caught up. While I was Watching speed today I was reminded of one of my favorite scenes and I don’t think you guys mentioned it. Haha. When Jack is looking under the bus and has the tourist repeat what he says Jack says “fu$k me” and the tourist looks all concerned and then says “ Um, oh darn” I was laughing my butt off. Thank you guys again. Ps any one that puts less then a five star rating doesn’t like movies, humor or friendships. Keep on keepin on fellas!!!! Fellow movie fanatic Robert P wrckngXcrw

To say that show has jogged a few forgotten memories would be a gross under statement. And to hear the banter between the guys makes me think of my brother and I when we get rolling with movie quotes. My go to podcast
I found this podcast from Tik Tok. The Dazed and Confused episode was the first one I listened to and then I quickly finished the entire back catalog shortly after. You guys really resonate with me as I grew up with all these movies being born in 1984. One suggestion though, Schwarzenegger September. Review Commando, Conan, Predator, and Total Recall. Would definitely be epic.

Love the show. I grew up in Glenwood Iowa and frequented the Captain Video in town and ruined many an 80’s movie from over watching. The Little Iowa Podcast That Could
Woke up this morning and saw a notification on my phone that a new episode had dropped, and that it was about one of my all time favorite childhood movies. I knew it was time to finally leave a review. I started listening a few months ago at the behest of a reel I saw on IG from @christines_snapss. I was hooked after a few episodes and have listened to just about all of them, even A Christmas Story, tho I have never really liked the movie. Sorry AJ. I grew up in a neighborhood where my sister and I were the only girls on the block, so whatever the boys were watching, we were watching. They took pleasure in scaring the crap out of us with Halloween(I ran the 3 doors back to my house when it was over) but balanced it with movies like Rad and North Shore. Each podcast ep makes me long for the days when we would go get 59 cent hamburgers from Hamburger Stand and would ride our bikes to the grocery store to buy candy and a Mad or Cracked Magazine. And of course we made trips to the video store. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go explain to my wife why I need to send 3 dudes in Iowa our money, so we can continue the nostalgiafest. Keep up the great work! Cory of Colorado

Hey Vern!
Jim Varney is a Nashville icon and treasure. Growing up around Nashville in the 80s-90s he was on tv constantly in the Purity Milk commercials. Maybe that’s why milk was the troll weapon? Ernest Goes to Camp was filmed 10min from where I live now in Montgomery Bell State Park at a campground that was a church camp when I was growing up. I actually knew some kids that were extras, and I was super jealous about that back then. It was a huge deal that movie was filming in our area. In his later years I know he was doing a lot of theater in Nashville. He was in fact a classically trained actor and the world has missed out on what could’ve been a great character actor. Love the podcast, can’t wait for the next episode!

Not a confused review
I found this podcast because someone mentioned it on Tiktok. I subscribed to it and have been listening to several episodes. Because of this I’ve been going back and watching some of these movies. Some still lived up to the hype of a great movie, others I and so confused why I liked the movie. Keep up the great work! And if I can recommend a movie to do, I recommend Ready to Rumble. Absolutely trash movie, but I’d really like to hear what you guys have to say about it. This guy gives you 2 thumbs way up!

If I could rate this podcast more than 5 stars then it would be 100! Found you guys on my fyp on TikTok and decided to give you guys a listen in hopes to spark my interest in podcasts. I’ll say you blew my expectations out of the water with the amount of work you put into to every episode. I’m super excited that you guys took a unique topic and turned it in to such a success. Just keep pumping out that nostalgic magic and you’ll have a forever fan. On a side note, with the holiday season coming up you need to do Christmas vacation. Awesome show to listen to
I am a police officer in Northern California and I work graveyard shifts. I found this podcast while listening to Bert Lewis her and decided to give it a listen a few weeks ago. I am now almost done listening my way through every episode. I love how we get your nostalgic take on the movie as well as the critical take. It’s always funny listening to the reviews being read from IMDb and other sites. My favorite part is the way you guys point out the actors/actresses from the movies you’re reviewing and bring up other movies they were in which sometimes leads to the conspiracy theories connecting movies/characters. You guys have brought me to rewatch movies I haven’t even thought about since I was a kid and you always keep me entertained through my long slow nights of work. Thank you all!

First I have to give a shoutout to Brent Chrishner for mentioning this podcast on his own podcast (2 beers 1 cave) recently. What a wonderful podcast. I drive about 10 hours every day, so I’m always looking for something new to tickle my ears. Other podcasts are most heinous but not this one. I love how you dive deeply into each movie, but more importantly I love the movie choices. I’m going to leave some bogus suggestions at the bottom, but I understand if they don’t make the cut for future episodes. Lastly, in regards to the SEGA episode.. have any of you heard of the game “Toejam & Earl”? I’m beginning to think my brother and I had the only copy ever, because y’all didn’t mention it and anytime I’ve asked someone about it they haven’t even heard of it. Okay that’s all I’ve got, keep up the hella good work. Movies: Stay Tuned Adventures in Babysitting Babes in Toyland Drop Dead Fred

Pure Nostalgia
New listener, thanks to one Emily O’Connell! Shout Out 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 As a fellow movie lover born in the early 80’s, I love everything about this podcast and everything it brings back from my childhood along with your hilarious back and forth commentary. There’s such a great blend of reviews from true cult classics along with some serious cheese movies we grew up with and loved unapologetically. Here are just a few classics and rando’s, that I loved as a kid, that would be great to get your take on some time: Surf Ninjas (1993) The NeverEnding Story 1&2 (1984, 1990) Masters of the Universe (1987) Super Mario Bros (1993) Double Dragon (1994) Labyrinth (1986) Willow (1988) The Last Dragon (1985) Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) Drop Dead Fred (1991) Weird Science (1985) Tango and Cash (1989) Last Action Hero (1993) Hook (1991) Small Soldiers (1998) Airborne (1993) Blankman (1994) The Meteor Man (1993) Jumanji (1995) Casper (1995) Little Giants (1994) Rookie of the Year (1993)

I love this podcast. Hilarious nostalgic conversations and such great chemistry between the hosts. Could not be better. Unfortunately, desperate times call for desperate measures. They have yet to review the 1993 Mario Bros movie and I cannot attribute this lack-of-action to anything but malicious intent. This podcast review will be reduced by one star every two weeks until it reaches one star or the movie review is completed. I don’t feel good about doing this, but it had to happen. Love you guys :3

Three Amigos
Great podcast. Love the comradery between the hosts. Much like one of my favorite movies as a kid, Three Amigos. Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Chevy Chase movies were a staple in my childhood and Three Amigos was the holy grail for me. Would love to see you guys review it. Keep up the great work.

Where have you guys been my whole life?!?! I’m addicted to movies and the ones you discuss take me back to my childhood. A very underrated but a favorite among my siblings is “Better off dead”, so many great one liners. It’s a movie that you have to watch multiple times to get all the jokes. Loved the great outdoors episode. Keep doing the good fight and helping us late 80’s kids back to our childhood.

An amazing listening experience for a 17 year old movie buff
As a kid who grew up in the 2000s I’ve only witnessed the bear minimum with blockbuster and family video and wasn’t really able to go since I was very poor, so when we would go it was on an occasion. So thank you for analyzing some of my favorite movies and as well as giving me new recommendations. You guys are super cool and very funny, keep it up. 2 Bears brought me here to begin with but I have since binged 11 episodes. I love the mini-byte about the video store. My hometown store was called Peggy’s and for my 13th birthday my mom got me the card to rent R movies. So I spent that summer starting in the top left corner of the horror section and worked my way through. Best summer of my life! Summer of 1990!

Fellas, I was introduced to this podcast by a comedian named Brent Kushner and I’m very thankful. Outstanding podcast concept. I really feel like I’m with friends riffing on old movies when I listen. It’s not a rarity if I’m talking back to you guys or laughing hysterically during my commute. I appreciate the minute details such as, “…you know where you know that guy from? He was another random character in another good-bad movie you saw 20 years ago.” Your episode on Over The Top was a clear favorite.. I’ve seen the movie over 40 times and I’m inspired to watch again. Please allow me to offer some episode suggestions: Angels In The Outfield, Little Monsters, and Empire Records. Keep those hats backwards. Thanks -Mike G.

80’s Baby’s Niche
My dude and I listened to The Cutting Edge ep together (a movie I watched as a kid a million times and forced him to watch in his 30’s). We’re both born in ‘84 so all these movies and references feel like they are all viewed through a very similar lens. Starting from the beginning so I’m only a few episodes in but am loving it. I really like the rating from the past and then the rating for today, since there is so much personal emotion tied to these films from our childhood. And I’ve thrown “yabbos” back into my lexicon.

I hate voices
I start and stop so many podcasts because turns out, I’m an evil voice hater? However, I love this pod so much ~ these dudes are hilarious and relatable and I don’t want to scream into the night when they talk. Two things though: they say “we’ll get to it later, but” about 309 times per episode. This is not important, I just want them to feel self conscious about it. Also they didn’t mention the elf at the Denny’s in the Santa Clause and I am furious. Actually just don’t listen to this podcast. Xoxo - Brandy from ihatecharlietoo.org

Growing up in a small town and being from a low income family, movies were pretty much my only saving grace. As a kid in the 80’s and 90’s I can remember watching these movies over and over again. And now as an adult, I blare your podcast while I mow yards in my landscaping business. At times I find myself talking out loud as if I’m carrying on the conversation. And everyone of my friends that I have introduced your podcast have thanked me. Keep up the great work and have you ever thought about doing any straight to video movies?

Hey Guys, I found out about your podcast last week from Bert Kreischer, and in a weeks’ time, I’ve listened to about 75% of your episodes. Fantastic show from top to bottom, from the breakdowns, to the deep dives, to all the jokes. You’ve definitely got a new, die hard fan. And, I would be remiss if I did not ask, do you all plan on doing an episode based on my all time favorite movie: “Big Trouble in Little China”?!? Keep up the amazing work, thank you for all the content.

What movie mean to me.
When I was young my pasted when I was 2 and my mother left when I turned 10. When I moved in to my grandparents house all I had was the vhs player and a copy of Batman returns and TMNT 2. Movies have gotten me through the tough time and have become a big part of my life. The movies y’all talk are the movies I loved has a kid. I talk about movies like y’all do with my friends, and all point out all the stupid that you don’t realize as a kid. Keep it up, love the show. If I can make one suggestion it is that y’all should do the first jumanji movie.

This podcast is fun! It strikes a perfect balance between just enough production and structure that it feels like a real show, but they also have the feel of a few friends just hanging out and talking movies. My Search For The PERFECT Podcast Is Over!
I have struggled for years to find a podcast that could hold my interest, provide sound information, and make me laugh. After binging the first 15 episodes, I'm confident my search is over! I feel like I've made new friends and hung out with old ones, all at the same time! Mike, Sean, and AJ are the perfect mixture of relatable & lovable personalities to look back on our favorite things through the lens of nostalgia. You've got a fan for life. Why are you here?
Well, I have no idea how to start this. Sean kicked open the door to my bathroom and is holding my toilet paper hostage until I write a good review. I don't even have an Apple product so I had to harass and threaten my sweet old neighbor until she let me use her original iPad from 2010. He wants me to say nice things like: "You guys are fun to listen to" or "The review readings are hilarious to see people give great movies a 1 star rating just because they don't understand the film" or that "AJ is a handsome fella and Mike's voice sounds like something I want to fall asleep listening to..." Sorry, what was I saying? Oh, to summarize, you guys have an awesome podcast and are a joy to listen to, so please, get out of my bathroom. Love you guys. Happy Birthday, Sean!

Godfather of Movie Podcasts
Finally!!! I found The Godfather of all movie podcasts. Through the power of sheer boredom on the Tik Tok platform, I found The Confused Breakfast Podcast. Starting off with one of my all time favorite Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus, I was instantly hooked. As I am reminded how awesome these childhood movies are with each episode, the dynamic between these three guys make you feel like you are apart of the movie nerd club. In an absolute great way. They are knowledgeable about the movies and very through about each movie, funny and just feels like they are your high school or college buddies that you just get along with. I am a fan of each and everyone of the guys. But I can’t help but hear that AJ sounds like the great actor of small parts, J.P. Manoux..if you know you know. Takes me back!
This show is three nostalgia loving guys that are true friends. You can tell by listening that they love hanging out with each other and reminiscing about the good old days. I recommend this for anyone that loves 80’s & 90’s pop culture (except 3 Ninjas) and watching old movies with friends over a beer.

Best of the Best
Where has this show been!! Found it late into its debut and listened to every episode within less than a week, the crew hits every mark with their wit and each experience on every subject. Definitely made me rethink a lot on all shows and movies I grew up watching, I can see now the obvious plot holes like example in ninja turtles 2 the foot already stole the ooze so why did they stick around to fight the turtles hahaha!!! Can’t wait for next week!

I enjoy this one.
I usually don’t leave reviews tbh. I almost came to defend 3 ninjas a few weeks back but today I was pretty stoked to see Blank Check. These movies are all classics to me.

Stop the Street Fighter Slander
I love your podcast. The Mortal Kombat analysis was on point; however, Street Fighter is an amazing work of art and Raul Julia delivers in that movie. He should have won an Oscar.

Non-Stop Nostalgia Trip
Hey Gents! I downloaded the Apple podcasts app just so I could give you all a five star review. You guys are awesome and listening to the pod not only is a fun trip down memory lane but your charisma and charm makes it feel like I’m sitting down with three of my old friends talking about the shows and things we grew up with. I love the Fan Theories section that shows up. I love that you guys are informed without being pretentious!! Gonna use the most overused phrase in podcast reviews but… “thank you and keep up the great content!” Ps. As a kid the Badge episode of AYAOTD scarred me for years. I’m 36 now and enjoy horror movies so I decided to go back and watch that episode. Nope. Still scary….

Childhood Unlocked
I found you guys on TikTok, not knowing that once i heard one episode, I needed to hear them all. Now, like a junkie, hungry for another nostalgia fix, I wait with baited breath for Wednesday to come. Your movies and mini-byte episodes that you do are like you’re looking directly in my brain and picking all the right things. Thank you so much for all that you do and here’s hoping for years to come of that sweet nostalgic ephemera we all so desperately need!!!

Hanging out with the guys.
I discovered this podcast on tik tok and have binging it ever since. I feel like I’m hanging out with my buddies when I listen. They’re hilarious, and it’s great to hear a perspective of someone roughly my age talking about all of the things I loved 25+ years ago. My favorite part is when I can hear them drinking and the occasional dishes clinking. I’m immediately taken back to 1993, eating dominos while voiding the noid, drinking pop and crushing a box gushers and wondering where my post pubescent man boobs came from with my fellow band nerd best friends in my moms basement, which is where I’m sure these guys still live. Coming from a graying middle aged man who delusionally thought he would crush it on double dare, guts, or Legends of the hidden temple wielding his rescue inhaler, this podcast is a great throw back to a magical time of American media of tv, movies, and video games.

Subtle brag...
Hello! I just discovered your podcast and I listened to the first episode today. I have to brag. I DID see Hocus Pocus in theaters. My birthday is 4 days before Halloween so obviously it’s my favorite holiday. For my 11th birthday my mom took me and my slumber party to see Hocus Pocus at the discount dollar theater near us. The Pinnacle Theater in Thornton Colorado to be exact. (I worked at that theater when I was 16-17 and it’s still my all time favorite job. Sadly it has since closed down.) I loved the movie the first time I saw it and I love it to this day. 10/10 It is a tradition for me and my family to watch it every year. I don’t brag about anything but this one I couldn’t pass up!.. Anyway, I really enjoyed this episode and can’t wait to listen to the rest!!! I am already jonesing for the Are You Afraid of the Dark episode. I still watch that show to this day!!!! Thanks for the fun you guys!!! I can only speak for myself but I am so thankful for your humor and light hearted banter. I am grateful for the memories this is jogging. I smile the whole time I’m listening. Keep up the great work! Love, The OG Becca :)))

Loving this podcast. Found out about it while scrolling TikTok and I’m so glad it popped up on my for you page. This podcast takes me back to the days of my youth when me and my brother(my brother and I) would watch 3 ninjas over and over and make fun of the way Emily says “Did I hear your new name is Ocky?” Keep up the good work guys. I’m telling all my friends about the podcast.

Positively Boner-ific
If you've stumbled onto this podcast then, prepare your earholes. You're about to be swept away by the smooth, sultry voices of Mike, AJ, and Sean. You'll find yourself transported to the days of roaming video stores and wandering the aisles with excitement, anticipation, and a little bit of curiosity as to why that faded movie case for Bloodsport is more sticky than you anticipated. So sit back with your box of overpriced Milk Duds, and your growing late fee-induced shame. Be kind, rewind, and enjoy the show.

Stumbled upon this podcast by mistake but have been loving it so far. I always get a kick out of the fan theories because they are ridiculous. Keep the content coming boys! Can we get the American Gladiators rip-off ThunderDome as a mini-byte? As a wrestling fan I soaked in all the outlandish scripted content.

I found this on tik tok, I love the fan theories. Thank you for putting in the research to make it informative. Confused Listener
I stumbled across this podcast thinking it was about breakfast reviews as indicated in the name. Maybe don’t name your episodes ‘mini bites’? But it’s a bunch of nerds talking about movies I grew up watching. So far so good, still trying to figure out who is dating who on the show. I would have given them 4 stars, but they reviewed my favorite movie of all time, Over The Top. That alone is worth listening to while at work.

Podcast for the diseased/deceased
Brand new this podcast as I write this 30/3/201 only listed to two episodes (Hocus Pocus and Beetlejuice). I am looking forward to hearing all the available contact available thus far. The Beetlejuice episode was terrific! These guys broke down the movie in the perfect way possible. Beetlejuice is one of my all-time favorite movies, and I know every part and line because I've been to the film about 167 times, and it keeps getting funnier EVERY SINGLE TIME I see it, but their break down of the movie made me find a newfound respect for the film that I would give 8/10. If you like movie reviews, maybe check this out.

A great show with great hosts
I’ve conversed with Mike a few times. His other podcast (Iowa Music Podcast) has become one of my favorites... but Confused Breakfast is giving it a run for its money. The episodes look at movies that we all know and love, and ask the questions that have plagued us all in a fun and comedic way. Great cast, great people, great listening!

Listening to Confused Breakfast is like sitting at the top of the basement steps listening to your cool but kinda nerdy older brother and his friends talk about their favorite movies you’re not quite old enough to watch yet. If you’re missing your friend group during quarantine, jump into these episodes, because these guys make you feel like they’ve been saving a spot on the couch for you, and theres a cold Mountain Dew and a huge bag of Cool Ranch Doritos on the coffee table just for you.

Impressively Fun
I would not be considered a movie buff by any means, although I do enjoy them (bc duh). So when I listen to these 3 hosts share so much more research and background of all things film and pop culture (past & present) than other podcasts, it's super fun. Their own dynamics are perfectly balanced and genuine. All said: a fresh & hilarious podcast free from arrogance and stagnation. Nice work, fellas!

- Coming To America (1988)But where in America can one find a queen? QUEENS! Duh! It’s our first Eddie Murphy movie! We fantasize about being too rich to wipe your own backside and clean your royal… front side. Would you rather eat and McDonald’s or McDowell’s? Did Arsenio Hall steal the show and launch from his performance here? Either way this is movie that determined that one thing that makes an Eddie Murphy movie better is more Eddie Murphy! - The Confused Breakfast Feb 1 · 1h 44m Teen Wolf (1985)Growing up is tough- voice cracks, canines start coming in, hair in strange places. Are you supposed to get taller? Gotta have the talk with dad abut the birds and the fleas. Teen Wolf was held and released just after Michael J. Fox exploded on to cinema with Back to the Future. It's a story we've heard before with a not so subtle twist. Are werewolves common in Nebraska? Are werewolves good at everything? or just basketball? Do Scott and Boof...Boof? let's pick up a keg of beer and jump on top of the van to street surf. to the partayy! •0:00:00 - Introductions •0:03:15 - Memories of first viewing •0:08:30 - Pertinent movie details •0:14:30 - Critical and fan reviews •0:23:00 - Scene by scene breakdown •1:31:45 - Modern day ratings —————————————————————— **Get a FREE bonus at NordVPN by clicking this link https://nordvpn.com/breakfast —————————————————————— **Cedar Ridge Distillery- Go check out our sponsor and order some whiskey. http://cedarridgewhiskey.com —————————————————————— **Visit us at Http://confusedbreakfast.com or leave a voicemail about your thoughts of the show! 319.804.9596 —————————————————————— **Proud podcast on the Cloud10 Media and IHeartPodcast networks. - Mallrats (1995)Say, would you like a chocolate pretzel?? Kevin Smith’s second film in the View Askewniverse, Mallrats, taught us the importance of being up 12-2 in the 2nd period, the meaning of callow, and that the back of a Volkswagen is no place to make Whoopi.. or something like that. Does Kevin’s Smiths signature dialogue come through? Are Jay and Silent Bob always the best part of these movies? Will Willam ever see the schooner? - The Thing (1982)It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… The Thing! In 1982, John Carpenter gave us a reimagined version of a 1950’s original. We can survive the Antarctic winter as long as we’ve got each other, right? At least until each other isn’t who they appear to be! It’s a movie that raises more questions than Jeopardy. So grab your prospectors hat, a fresh bottle of J&B scotch, and your trusty flame thrower! Cause trust is a hard thing to come by these days. - Elf (2003)It’s time to pass through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly-twirly gum drops, and then through the Lincoln Tunnel! Elf, was the breakout leading role for Will Farrell in the holiday season. Is this the last great Christmas classic? Can elves, well, a human raised by elves, really survive on sugar? How long would it take to walk from the North Pole to New York City? Why the hell are elves making so many etch-a-sketches and Jack in the boxes??
