Always informative and entertaining. The Dan Snyder saga. But it’s wearing. Updates and info, from informative guests. Great to hear. But, we are thirsting for that KO. Hail and props to DC Defenders crowds. And the team.

Great DC sports centric pod!
Love Al. Feel smarter after I listen to him. Great that is ready when I get up in the morning at 5 am. Great recap of the previous nights games and in depth Redskins —oops WFT oops Commanders discussion and great guests too!! Love the theme song too!! Keep it up Al!

Simply No Longer Credible
Long time listener of Al Galdi and used to be a big fan. His insight and reporting were always spot on. However, over the 2022-23 season Galdi has become more and more a cheerleader. His pragmatism has disappeared. The coverage of the EB, offensive coordinator hire by the Commanders was just awful. Never did Galdi mention that EB took the job because the Commanders were the only team left no other options…… Galdi has lost what made him special. His direct honesty

The voice of sports
Al, we have listened to you grow up on radio. To me you’re really one of the top voices in D.C. sport talk radio and podcasts. Congratulations on the 500. and thanks for covering the other professional sports teams in Washington for covering the local colleges to the level that you do

Could be better…
The show is good but there are things that are irritating. He uses the same sound bites over and over again. If I hear “position flex” one more time, I am going to throw up. Half the show is him doing advertisements. I am really tired of hearing about Weed Man. I never want to hear 2.2.22 ever again!

WFT forever!
Galdi is rolling towards episode 500! It is the most up-to-date sports show for the Washington area each day. Washington Commanders are of course #1. This is not one of those show by the WFT or Commanders beat reporters. This is a more diverse but timely Commanders-centric sports show. Download, subscribe and enjoy.

Al Galdi - Final game…
Al always all over what matters. Fortunately there was some positives. Also what flaws popped up, Galdi all over them. So will be tuning in to keep up with our Team. I think some strides towards relevancy. Maybe the Danny’s hopefully slinking away, will bring a fresh set of downs to a better future. Because we got some players. Good ones.

Excellent Show!
The Al Galdi Podcast covers DMV Sports in excellent detail with insight, opinions that look at all sides, references to applicable sports' history, a bit of dry wit and humor and with sincere respect for the Listeners. It is a can't miss Podcast and Mr. Galdi covers the DMV Sports so well that I do not have to do so. Most respectfully, it definitely is a FIVE STAR Podcast. Respectfully, Jack L

Great podcast
What’s this!? An opinion show whose host actually puts time and research into his opinions instead of shooting from the hip and riding controversy? An enjoyable personality will always be the most important factor in the success of an opinion show, but the ability to intelligently inform (and god forbid, teach you something) should be a close second. Galdi has both aspects in spades. We should expect more than pundits who form their opinion first, and then work backwards to defend it. This podcast should be the model.

Daily go-to
Galdi is my daily go-to for local sports talk. He’s a consummate professional who is always prepared with a thoughtful and well-crafted point of view, insightful questions for his guests, and able to masterfully punctuate his segments with levity. The show moves quickly, is substantive, and always connects the content to the impact on the respective fanbases, and thus his listeners. I appreciate his obvious passion for his craft. Truly, great job.

Best local sports podcast
Galdi! I’m a die hard Commanders fan and have been since 1984. Ever since you went off the radio I have listened to you. You are creative, thoughtful and very entertaining with the content on your podcast. When I hear the local on air personalities I feel like I’m listening to them in other markets because of all the negativity they keep spewing. When I want to hear news about my team I do want the truth but not a constant bombardment of what’s going on off the field. The Commanders are like my family. If I just hear bashing of my team I’m gonna eventually tune out. You are great. You tell it like it is but then you move on. I know you love your team and it’s reflected in your awesome podcast. Keep up the good work. You have the best podcast around in my opinion. Thanks, Scotty B

The best in depth coverage and analysis of the Washington Commanders period.
Articulate, comprehensive, and thoughtful analysis of all DC/MD/VA sports, but especially Washington Commanders football. Insightful with a touch of humor, Al delivers the news and information you need to stay abreast of DC sports. I was sad a little over a year ago when he went off the radio airwaves, but quickly found him on podcasts and have come to love this version of the show way better because of the extreme flexibility associated with it (listening on my own time, pausing playback, fast forwarding to a particular segment I want to hear, etc.). Thanks Al for the fantastic show founded on impeccable research and delivered with enthusiasm and extreme professionalism!

Devastating day!!!!
Hi Al I’m from New England 56 years old have been a Washington Redskin fan since I was about eight years old.I listen to your podcast every single day. People think I’m nuts but I’m one of those guys that has been in love with the skins logo. I’ve been since the day I first got my Sears and roebucks Redskin helmet for Christmas . Still have a number 17 I put on it for Billy Kilmer. I’ve been a diehard fan. I’m a first time writer long time listener. Your podcast is all I have out here in New England please keep up the great work. Just want to make a comment about everything from yesterday. The organization has about two years to get this thing right I believe Chris Bluiett must’ve been on the committee with these guys making the choices, because that’s exactly what they did they blew it. I can handle the commanders although still painstaking , however, you can’t even come up with a nice looking logo for a commander. I’ll W is the best you can come up with. I’ve been a joke of text from everyone around here. I’d like to say I can’t believe they let me down again but they did.Either way the sucker that I am I will hold onto the burgundy and gold and be waiting for the season to start. Like I said keep up your awesome idea podcast.

Great DC sports show
Like all talk radio hosts Al Galdi is opinionated, but he bases his opinions on a combination of data, facts, analysis, his instincts and heaps of enthusiasm. Always enjoyed him on the AM dial and glad he’s doing the pod. And especially happy he covers all the DC bases — football, hockey, hoops and baseball (including the O’s). Great accompaniment to a morning workout or jog.

Al Gladi’s PodCast is Simply The Best
Longtime/FirstTime, Blah-blah, Blah-Blah. I’m at the very least tied for Al’s longest listener and probably one of many WTEM listener’s who blasted the station when he was let go, but it has been a blessing in disguise. Now I get to listen to his excellent well orgainized and thought out takes and “reporting” at my leisure and in greater depth. “Once you go podcast you never come back” and he (questions the music) is “Simply The Best” and then there’s the rest! Could probably get away with out my cup of fresh brew if I had to first thing in the morning, but I could not do without Al Galdi’s Podcast.

You come away smarter - Happy Thanksgiving
I have followed Al’s podcast since it launched and I love that it drops weekdays at 5 am. His insight, opinions, and explanations always makes me smarter. I have grown to admire the intro music begrudgingly but nothing tops all of his soundbites from various DC has-beens: Brucifer, Vinny, Zorny, Ol’Ball Coach, and Jay

Best DC Sports Podcast
Nobody covers DC Sports the way Galdi does. Very informative, consistent (it’s out every weekday by 5am) and humorous. I get a kick out of every time he clips Ron saying “position flex” and then seamlessly weaves in an ad about commission flex. He often brings in other local media members that cover the team and the best part is it’s not always the people with the name recognition (John Keim, JP Finlay, Kevin Sheehan). He brings in some lesser known people that do a great job covering the WFT like Nick Akridge of PFF, Matt Valdovinos of PFN and Jordan Asri aka @footballteamtoday.

The best local dc sports broadcast/podcast……Tahdsy!
I didn’t listen to Al Galdi while on the radio, but checked out his podcast as a DC sports alternative to the 980, 630, and 1067 folks who spend way too much time talking about themselves and offering very little more in terms of sports in the DMV. Galdi never mails it in. His show is entertaining but it’s so much more than a few chuckles and guffaws. Galdi gives deep, very smart insights to our much beloved but continuously flawed local teams. He reports accurately, he reports factually, and his take on sports is enlightening. One of the other aspects of his production is that when you wake up, he’s already produced the show for that day based on what happened the night before. Real time. He’s not your typical woke, pc virtue signaler either. No sucking up to the progressive poobahs that require on air talent that need to toe the line of their station’s dogma. Galdi is not political. He’s genuine. He gave props to The Godfather of local sports programming, Ken Beatrice, and he has guests that are interesting as well. If you want to catch up or stay current on how the wiz caps Nats and WFT are actually doing, then you must try Galdi. You don’t be disappointed. Especially the WFT. Truly the best sports analysis anywhere. Enjoy!
