Theo and Eve are back with Social in Six - a breakdown of the top social media headlines and what you need to know. This week we’re talking about Instagram’s new home screen which highlights Shopping and Reels, Snapchat’s decision to bring ads to its lightweight Minis apps and the launch of Google’s answer to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, in India. We also discuss Facebook’s AR glasses in partnership with Ray-Ban, Facebook Messenger’s new co-watching feature and the launch of closed captions on IGTV. The part where he mentions that he wants to be adopted by a more functional family even at 45 yrs really hits home. Really delineates how no matter how old and independent you are, you still need love and support.
