Your word is your bond. That is all you need. Don't swear oaths on anything. As a Christian, your word is already bound by Christ. Therefore, swearing an oath on something else means that you are putting your trust in something less than Christ. Don't do that.
Of course, there may be times when you need to swear an earthly oath to hold an office or a position. That is okay. But you must remember who you represent when you do that. As a Christian, you represent Christ.
Let you yes be yes, and your no be no. Jesus backs your word. You don't need to affirm it in any other way.
