Surface-level news that sacrifices quality for quip
Stories tend to be extremely surface-level and hosts fail to provide in depth explanations behind business or economic developments. For example, a recent episode about chicken prices and inflation relies on a quote from Tyson to explain rising chicken prices, disregarding broader context like worker shortages due to lack of COVID protections or impacts of industrial chicken farming. Hosts conclude that now that Tyson has confirmed a “healthy” chicken supply, there will be low chicken prices for consumers, calling it a “win-win.” An ignorant conclusion given that the evidence relies on a company with huge interest in a positively-spun story. Not impressed with the hosts’ ability to ignore macroeconomic factors for the sake of delivering quippy news stories.

Short, fun, entertaining, and educational!
Nick and Jack have hooked me from the Snacks Daily days. HYHYSD? I literally asked that to a couple of my co-workers just for fun lol. I listen to this podcast every morning (Monday-Friday) on my way to work, while I’m jogging, or checking emails. It’s interesting to hear news about the companies you own stock in. They give insights on why a stock price rose or fell so much. They explain things pretty well and they do it in a fun and entertaining way. The podcasts are not super long so if I missed one the day before, I can play it B2B (back to back). I love the fun facts at the end of the shows. Great job guys!

Love the concept of the podcast, long time listener since robinhood snack days..please stop using NYT as a news source, they have lost all credibility, and while it’s tough to keep your bias out of stories, they are so interesting and it does bother me when I hear your political slant.. the pod is fast and fun and best of luck expanding your social media presence with the new hire.

I love the format of the show. I can catch up on a financial news which i wouldn’t find in other media whole dropping of kids to school. Favorite way to start my day!
I started listening to this podcast a few years ago, and it just puts me in a really great mood to start off every day! Jack and Nick have the perfect podcast voices, their connection is not forced, and the stories they choose to cover are always relevant and summarized perfectly! This podcast has made my commute to work much more enjoyable over the past couple years.

Lost its edge
If you’re looking through the reviews to decide whether to listen to this podcast or not, then ignore the reviewers’ political concerns. Yes, the hosts do sometimes mention politics but it’s their show. They can do what they want. As for the show itself, I have listened for the past three or four years. They occasionally provide great insight and have helped me make a little extra money, but they do seem to focus on creating sexy/pop headlines (how many Kardashian or Musk related stories have they created lately) and usually provide about 80% of the information you want. They speak more to potential market opportunity rather than looking at the numbers. I don’t recall the hosts ever mentioning P/E or doing a financial analysis comparing peer groups. Additionally, since the hosts moved to their new podcast/company, I find the hosts unbearable. This helped me conclude that this show is no longer about business or advice, but rather it’s faux-business entertainment. I do not find their discussions helpful since they do not discuss market strategies or provide any helpful analysis. It’s too bad. I really liked this podcast since it provided a quick 15 minute dive into some interesting topics. I will give them credit for recently outlining some issues with Lyft compared to Uber (example: Uber diversified whereas Lyft focused on replacing taxis) but I just don’t find this informative enough to ignore the rest of the podcast. I wish the hosts the best though. They seem to be great people with a smart head on their shoulders. They are just too Millennial for me (and I type this AS a Millennial myself!)

Extremely biased
This gets 3 stars because at the minimum it’s entertaining. I’ve been listening for the last 3 years and just recently unsubscribed. The hosts are EXTREMELY left wing biased, which is okay but it’s a huge undertone to the podcast. Secondly and the more pressing issue is they literally talk about the same handful of companies in just about every episode most of which are along the lines of plant based meat or Spotify. If you’re looking for real business news this probably is t for you, if you’re just looking for 15 minutes of semi entertainment you might enjoy this.

Entertaining Brief Daily Business News
They do a great job summarizing in short time daily business news. And they make it fun and entertaining! Most news podcasts don’t have this great mix—but TBOY has a perfect balance of this. The reason it’s not 5-stars: there’s some economic principles they don’t fully understand and sometimes give incomplete info: eg recently a few times they’ve brought up inflation and it’s causes, but don’t mention the biggest cause (government deficit spending and the fed pumping out money). Also, although they usually don’t mention politics much, but when they do they lean left rather than giving a balanced story.

I was this many years old when I found out Nick & Jack started podcasting on my birthday. The Best One Yet is not only an informative, interesting, and *I* don’t have another word to complete the assonance - but they have created a community. They are accessible to us. The way they interact with each other makes us feel like we are in their friend group. The new theme music is rad; my dog Kelce knows it’s time to go out for our morning walk when he hears it. The Best One Yet
I never write reviews for anything, but I feel compelled to write one for TBOY because I’m so grateful a podcast like this exists. It’s simply the best one yet, and my day is not complete without listening to it - not only do they focus on the most interesting/relevant business news and do a really thorough in-depth analysis on each story, but then also do it with such joy, wit, and humor. I never knew that getting knowledge could be this fun. And I’m always in a better mood after listening to the show - their happiness is infectious and a rare commodity in this oft too-serious world.

Not the Same Polished Mateiral as SnacksDaily
The material is insightful; however, the polish delivery and quality product from SnacksDaily is a thing of the past. The excessive joking, several pauses in a episode, and added politics piece isn’t necessary and divisive. The show isn’t as addictive or as amusing which caused me to want to finish each episode or share with friends or colleagues. It feels like the audience went from having a Big 4 accounting update on the market to some flashes of it provided by a regional size firm. Advice: focus on what you do best, leave politics out, we get enough on the news and social media. The audience realize you want and need to have fun on each episode; but it’s getting old

I used to listen to about 90% of the podcasts. I enjoyed the banter back-and-forth. However, with the recent pro abortion statement made on a podcast after the SCOTUS leak, infuriated me. Therefore, I have decided to not listen to this podcast any further. I am a physician who actively strives to treat high-risk pregnancies and I find this pro abortion attitude to be disgusting. One question for you to consider is: when is a fetus a person? Please answer this question, using sound ethical and moral reasoning. And not what is legal. If a woman has the right to terminate a pregnancy, then it should be allowed at any gestational age and even after the baby is born. Pro abortionists should be consistent in their defense of abortion.

My favorite podcast!
I’ve been listening to this pod since the very beginning. I disagree with the recent negative feedback regarding their commentary on current events. They are giving brief mentions of current events and how they impact markets and somehow people are upset and offended. If they didn’t mention what was going on in the world, the same people would find a way to be upset and offended. Let’s stop focusing on being offended as a state of existence and appreciate TBOYs for what they do best - giving us informative and compelling market insights drizzled with uplifting humor. Was My Favorite Pod until…
TBOY is BY FAR my favorite podcast but the misinformation they have on the abortion topic is very disappointing on their May 4th 2022 episode. I very much respect their opinion on the topic however the way it was positioned on the podcast was misleading and dangerous. Yes this is not a political issue and yes this is a human rights issue however their perspective as to which ruling is the right ruling on the matter was very flawed and they should allow their listeners on such a polarizing topic do their own research to formulate their opinion on a very important matter for our society. I haven’t missed an episode since 2019 and now I’m going to have to find a new podcast for my morning commutes being that I really enjoyed their approach of reporting on both sides of issues on very important topics in society. Unfortunately they missed the mark on this one.

Part of my morning ritual
In order to make every day TBOY, my morning routine is composed of a cold shower, exercise, meditation, coffee, and of course knowing the top 3 stories of the day, you know. I haven’t missed a single episode of this podcast for years, and other than just being a great source of high quality news, the amount of energy Nick and Jack have invigorates me every day. Anytime one of my friends asks me (or doesn’t), for a podcast recommendation, this is always my goto. Word of caution: if they promise you a free shirt, be ready to wait years until you get it. Almost 3 years and counting.

Used to absolutely love this podcast. One of my favorite morning drive podcasts to list to each day. I agree with below reviews, however. Lately they have been stating too many political views as facts… which is understandable if all of your friends and people you associate with have the same perspective. Nowadays everything involves politics and I specifically have my political podcasts to listen to for those reasons. So please listen to the many reviews and stop the politics. Also, there have been some stories I don’t agree with from an actual economics perspective. But overall I really like the chemistry, humor, format. Please keep the summary at beginning and end as hearing something 3 times helps most people remember. Also love the daily facts. But yeah, I might need to find another podcast if they don’t stop the politics crap.

They often come back with corrections the next day, but I’m guessing that is because one of their fans reaches out and corrects them. I’ve told everyone I know about the Robinhood Snacks podcast because I love it so much. Good reviews of business, don’t care for liberal narrative
I had started to listen to this podcast a couple of years ago. It was good and fun information. Then things started changing when the podcast starting to repeat left wing liberal media narrative and continues to contribute to liberal narrative. There is usually an example with every few episodes how they follow the left narrative. They don’t try to hide it. We have major inflation issues, but they feel it’s too small to care about as does liberal left media.

I like this show b/c it has some good, general business highlights (hence the 2 stars). However, the hosts are the most brutal millennials you’ll ever listen to— urbanite liberals shamelessly shilling for the woke uniparty. Their giddiness about our generation being saddled with debt, never owning anything, and getting stuck with low-pay gig-economy jobs is palpable. They smeared Dr. Malone (an instrumental figure in the invention of mRNA vaccine technology) as a “fringe” scientist because he dared question the conventional wisdom of egomaniac Lord Fauci on the JRE podcast. Absolutely cringe 🤢 Folks would be much better off listening to Bannon’s War Room for tomorrow’s news today— all signal no noise.

Financial news mixed with the host’s political views
I have been listening to this podcast every day for three or four years and the podcast has changed dramatically since then. The hosts have a unique sense of humor (they have a million inside jokes). Right when I was starting to get used to the hosts’ humor (literally took one year) and begin to enjoy the episodes, they began reporting on politics and culture instead of financial news. I get that you want to use your platform to take a position and voice your opinion, but there are more appropriate places for that. People listen for financial news, not your far left mainstream political opinions. The hosts talk down to any of their audience who may not be completely aligned with mainstream media (I’m sure they have plenty of listeners who lean right, although based on other reviews it looks like they are losing those listeners quickly). It seems like the hosts have a competition going on who is more woke. Politics are already being reported on everywhere you go and the last place I’m going to look for valid scientific or political information is on this podcast. This podcast is still probably the closest you can find to quick, daily, and easy to digest financial news. I wish politics and culture would be left out (or at least spoken about in a neutral manner) and that the hosts would report purely on financial news!

The Best One Yet
Long overdue review from an avid fan. Five stars in many ways. Most important in my opinion, Snacks provides a healthy option in our attention/information diet. There is so much content out there that probably doesn’t do you any good. Every episode of this podcast generally leaves you feeling upbeat and a little more knowledgeable. Jack and Nick are masters of analogies, clever jokes and nostalgic millennial references. They’re funny, not in dying-laughing way, but with a fun and easy charm. It’s like listening to Ross and Chandler banter and then realizing you learned something. Even though the twice-an-episode disclaimers say this isn’t an investment report or advice, I do think the podcast makes listeners better investors. It surfaces stocks that you might not consider, puts others in a different light, and explains macroeconomic and political events and investing concepts succinctly enough to keep your attention. Lastly, the hosts seem like genuinely nice people who take the time to respond to emails.

Overall good pod
Overall this is a good pod and I listen to it every morning. In the latest episode they spoke about the “billionaire tax” and it bothered me that they didn’t fully explain the ramifications of such a tax. This tax would mean that these billionaires would be forced to sell stock to pay for a tax that is being implemented on money they do not physically have. It felt very misleading that this was not brought up within the show. If you’re going to dance on the edge of politics, explain both sides

This pod really is business news for you! Not only do I keep up to date on what is going on in the global economy, but also I have a great time listening to Nick & Jack tell stories about each new industry event. They make business news easy to understand. This is also a great pod to learn about new trending companies (beauty pie, tik tok, roblox) and mature companies (Amazon, Apple, Walmart, Ford). I have to say that my favorite part of the pod is the shout out. I’ve done shout outs for a friend and my wife, and they both were stoked! This is my favorite pod!

My all time favorite podcast!
Thank you to Jack and Nick for being a part of my daily weekday life for over two years now. They break down information via their newsletters and their podcasts in such an easy to understand way and I feel far more informed after listening. These two are quite energetic with their deliveries, they add in jokes, slang and other contemporaries to make news that is typically delivered in a very dry and jargon filled manner to something easily digestible. They are entertaining and most certainly breaking the barriers to understanding the depths of what happens all things business and news.

I like the show no problem there but I would like the option of the episodes playing in order instead of in reverse. You totally misinterpreted the bitcoin hack
The fbi did not just take the bitcoin from the hackers wallet. The hackers messed up and left the crypto on a public cloud service and did not hold the private keys. The fbi was able to get a warrant for the private keys and then get the bitcoin. If the hackers had this on a cold storage wallet this would not have been possible.

These to host do a really good job about working together. If you notice at the end of each podcast they announce who their investments are with. They also change from week to week who their investments are with. So it leads to question... my employer strongly suggest not to move your investments. A strong and steady wins the race attitude. Like this podcast’s fun first approach. Things can get a bit repetitive which is effective sometimes but sometimes feels like they are trying too hard to fit things that don’t go together. Love your show and the quick informative takes on relevant business news, etc. However, I recommend staying out of the little political statements you’ve been throwing in recently. Have no issues if we have some different stances on things, but I’d suggest doing your research before bringing it to the podcast. Just heard you say Georgia’s voting law prohibits people from getting water... that’s simply not the truth. The last thing this country needs is more division, so I would just like to remind you you’re listeners love the business content, but have a vast array of views on this world. This can be a place where people with different views come together, please don’t feed into the cultural divide and push have your viewers away like so many other content outlets. Thanks

I’ve been a big fan, but you lost me when you started inserting yourselves into politics. I tuned in for finance news, not political opinions. I can get that elsewhere. If you claim to be non-partisan, it’s unwise to add in personal your commentary on social justice agendas from this platform. I’ve heard one too many deceptive claims regarding politics on here. Unsubscribing after episode falsely claimed that “serving water to voters waiting in long lines to vote” was “banned” in Georgia (episode “Master Plan - Done,” 12:46). It does not “ban” food and water. It bans political groups from bribing voters with food and drinks in exchange for votes. According to the GA law, you can bring your own food and drink, and poll workers are allowed to hand out food and drinks as well. If you want to be a social commentary podcast, you’re free to do so, but don’t claim to be giving the simple, indisputable broken-down facts.

Love to listen to your podcast everyday but American tech companies don’t rely on China for chips! The US relIes on Taiwan (TSM), an ally of US constantly being threatened by China. It is confusing to hear you keep saying US relies its chips on China which is incorrect information. China only makes subpar level chips not something iphone needs.

Hosts manage to make information that traditionally would be BORING financial news, EXCITING. They also give me a great sense of nostalgia and remind me of friends I grew up with. In fact, they inspired a few of us to start an investment club. There energy is infectious and their friendship is genuine. Love the pod, been listening for a couple years. But the 2/1/21 first story sounds like part of a massive RH propaganda campaign. Definite conflict of interest. Let’s get the story straight, some lost big due to the decisions that brokerages like RH took and these brokerages are still not showing any remorse. I do not trust anyone associated with Robinhood. Unsubscribing from this podcast, transferring my money, deleting the Robinhood app and closing my account as soon as I can recover enough to save my family after the pain that Robinhood caused us after restricting the stocks you could buy and later the amounts you could purchase causing the mass sell off and massive loss to the little guys like me. I am a public school teacher who doesn’t make a lot of money and my family lost almost all of our life savings because of this, steal from the poor public school teacher to give to the rich institutions and hedge funds, sickening.

Hopefully you all are able to go independent, or get picked up by a less shady company. A great entertaining show, but I can’t support any venture of a company that would betray their customers and their core values like they’ve done. My advice to Jack and Nick, and I’m sure they’re aware, would be to get away as fast as possible. Robinhood is a sinking ship and won’t be around for long. I’d hate for their shady business practices to bring these 2 good guys down.

My honest opinion after a year of listening
So first and foremost, how is it possible for these people to search far and wide for good personalities for this show, just to find to find two guys that literally sound EXACTLY THE SAME. It’s impossible to tell the difference. Next, don’t look for stock tips here, just general, helpful knowledge of what happened the day PRIOR. Keep that in mind. Third, I can no longer respect or support anything robinhood related, ever again after the stunt they pulled 1/28/21. Went from a respectable company, to a backstabbing hedgefund kissup. Now the parent company takes action against their own investors which lands them in a class action lawsuit. I have listened to Nick and Jack religiously ever since they began way back when. They’ve been my morning listening podcast on my way to work, but after today I can say I will not be listening to them anymore. N&J have been fighting for the average person and the little guys to be able to digest their business news, but unfortunately they have fallen victims to their CEO’s mantra of supporting the hedge funds and billionaires in this massive screw up that Robinhood has endured. They torched Tootsie Roll (Tootsie Roll? Really?) today on their podcast and basically embarrassed anyone trying to call out the hedges on their shorts. N&J have great personalities, but this saddened me...I thought they believed in the opportunity of free markets and appealing to the “average” trader. I hope you guys get back to the analysis and leave politics out of your discussions. I will pick up the listening when that happens and I recommend other listener do so as well. Been listening since the beginning of Ronbinhood snack and had been a fan. I am disappointed after this morning’s episode. It is very clear that people are buying GME because it was overly shorted by hedge funds, but you guys just glossed over it and criticized the buyers. Hey how come no one said anything with Tesla going up like crazy this year? I would much rather you guys not talk about GME than lying about the situation.

Terrible Analysis
You go into Cyberbulling and just breeze by the hedge funds betting against the stock. They are betting on more shares than exist for GME, get into that information. Its fine to tell people not to get into cyberbulling but the fact Robinhood and others stopped retail buyers while hedge funds are allowed to drive down the stock is terrible. But you have to protect your big money backers, we get it.

Stock review and stories no longer the best one yet
Started listening year and a half ago , recommended to friends and family, no longer enjoy listening . Their stories have lessened in depth and analysis. An example: After all major social media/ tech blocked trump following the capitol attack, the hosts takeaway was facebooks automated moderation is not working . Felt lazy and off the mark, they should not be afraid to go in depth and do some critical analysis. Also, I no longer support the Robinhood platform due to its restriction of trading because of “volatility”

I actually loved these guys, they appeal to my exact demo. Their jokes are the same ones my friends I tell, I was a fan. Unfortunately, despite Robinhood’s promise to “Democratize Trading for All”, they have restricted trading (on a free market) for all users while Wall Street traders are free to trade at will. This goes against everything the company stands for, meaning I can not support anything this company backs. Nick and Jack are good dudes, their bosses are corrupt thieves, stealing from the poor to give to the rich. Disgraceful, cowardly and fundamentally wrong.
