Three dudes too smart for their own good.
I mean that in the best possible way. Hard pressed to find more authenticity in any podcast. Also, funny.

In a sea of recovery options, this one stands out.
I’ve been to 6 detox’s, 5 treatments and then took a year at a sober living in S Florida to get it done. I have 1 and 1/2 year sober. Glad to find these nit wits of sobriety

Why would my first listen be the one where you compare TSwifts A politicalism to the president’s so called racist banter. C’mon. I didn’t realize that recovery has a political preference. Discussing how you feel about what is going on as it relates to recovery is one thing but otherwise it’s just a bunch of wasted time.

A Great Way To Supplement my recovery
This podcast is extremely well produced and the content is perfect for a less dogmatic angle on recovery. If you are sick of NA bickering on whether your are clean or sober, this is the podcast for you. Great, honest recovery work that helps me stay sober each day. Great work guys ! I am really enjoying it!

Fantastic Recovery Podcast
Chris, Jeff and Matt are the leaders in Recovery Podcasts and are an essential group of voices on the airwaves. They have experiences unique to each of them, and meet the listeners wherever they might be; whether the listener is in recovery, is concerned for a loved one who is an addict, or is just recovery curious. SinceRightNow is the best meeting to attend, regardless of the path of recovery one takes. No judging, no dogma, nothing to sell, just three voices who are on the journey and guiding the rest of us with their irreverent and honest take on life and living in recovery. A must listen!

Great Find
Found this recovery podcast by accident and was hooked after 5 minutes (like a true addict). I've been sober for 7 years, but never really worked a program. This podcast has helped me realize there are different paths, but finding a community is important. Sharing stories and laughing with other addicts is healing. I have been moved to put some WORK into my recovery after listening to this podcast (and others) - and I realize it's a journey. Since Right Now is hysterical - laugh out loud observations about sober life. Had I found these guys when they were drinking....and i was drinking....I would have called them every night to hang out. They are MY TYPE of DRINKERS! Ironically, I can hang out with them now, sober, and it's still fun (who knew??). There are pearls of wisdom sprinkled thoughout their "chats", and I find myself writing them down. Super awesome recovery podcast..... not preachy and not full of "Big Book" quotes.

Great Recovery Podcast!
It's awesome this podcast is in St. Louis! I often feel alone in my recovery and it makes me feel a little less of that listening to these guys record this in my town! Plus they're funny and seem like pretty cool dudes! I've just discovered this podcast recently, but I feel it will be a usefull tool in my sobriety and help make it fun along the way! Keep up the great work!

A good Chat - but sometimes Politically polarized
I like that these guys go to other meetings and report their experiences. One is no AA one is somewhat AA one is full on AA so you get a blend of perspectives. That is when they are at their best. They read these reviews!! Cool! There's a lot of chat up front so wait a bit while they get into it. If you don't like politics be ready with fast forward or delete button as sometimes they can't help but stray into the topic that I don't want to hear when on the sobiety-web! That is a true outside issue for me! Give it a chance it goes all over the place. Not boring for sure. And look at their twitter - we finally go to see their faces.! It kinda was what I expected HEE HEE

Dismissing is still stigmatizing
I bet your podcast is great. I’m sure you’re funny, and knowledgeable regarding your own experience and clever etc... But I’ve listened to just 20 minutes and I’m sorely disappointed. You’ve mentioned having “beef” with an article about a person in recovery feeling turned away by AA. You are so dismissive in your statements... saying “that can’t be true” “I don’t think so” “aa is an easy target”. I disagree. You would not like if you shared a desperate painful situation of your own and heard “nah, I just don’t buy it”. Not only this, but you’re ignorant to the medications, yet discuss them anyway. Maybe do some research prior to going on the air. Naltrexone suboxone vivitrol and methadone are all MAT but very different. And the stigma is REAL. At local levels, at higher up levels within AA and other programs, and at professional levels. I’m a nurse, and I’m on suboxone. I’m clean and sober. I know who people who have committed suicide due to the shame of feeling “unclean” and non-accepted in “real” sober circles. I have an article coming out on this (tomorrow I hope) on thefix.com. I hope you’ll read it and reconsider your dismissive, stigmatizing attitudes towards personal experiences that might actually be true. My name is Tiffany Swedeen, if you’d like to find that article. Recovery should be inclusive, living, open and accepting. Of course meetings have a right to run however they want. But we can decrease the number of people and meetings that run on dogma and exclusivity by not accepting or dismissing it and saying “find another meeting”.

Irreverant, Smart, Essential
Since Right Now is three old friends having a relaxed, real, and often very funny conversation. The interpersonal chemistry reminds me of Professor Blastoff (Tig Notaro's old podcast)--but with the central topic of sobriety. They know each other very well, and really like each other, and that comes through and makes the listener feel a part of an intimate conversation about serious and not-so-serious topics. Chris, Matt, and Jeff are irreverent in a media space that can use some. They were key in helping me realize that sobriety didn't have to be the land of plodding greyness I was envisioning. They've been a big part of my recovery. I'm in month seven, and went back and listened to most episodes after I discovered them. I am really happy to have had the help of them to stay klen and sobr. Thanks, guys!

Best Recovery Podcast and Funny Too!!
I’ve been sober for 18 months and have done so without using traditional methods, like AA. My recovery has been dependent on books, online groups, and podcasts. This podcast has become one of my most important tools on my recovery toolbox. The guys are relatable, intelligent, creative, and hilarious. Each episode I know that I will be moved, inspired, and laugh. It’s the one podcast that I know I will come away a better person after listening to it.

A winner!
This podcast is a winner, the best addiction podcast I have found! The three guys, Chris, Matt and Jeff have great chemistry. They are a pure joy to listen to each episode. Chris is a standout, because he is not a traditional 12 stepper. Chris has a perspective that is very valuable and he is so humble about it. In fact, at times he seems to discount how amazing his story really is, having stopped without a program! Research shows that many, many people resolve their substance use issues, just like Chris did, without the traditional programs. You just rarely hear his kind of story, because people who resolve their issue and go on, usually don't stay focuced on talking about how they did it, they simply move on with life. Jeff provides the traditional 12 step balance to the show and sometimes his long association with the program shows (he thinks and speaks from a 12 step world view). Matt rounds out the group with having had more recent struggles, but he is a rock solid, and smart dude! Overall, you could not put together a better group of guys for this type of podcast. I am very sure this podcast has helped a great many people! Thanks guys!

My Favorite Recovery Podcast
I love this podcast. I’ve been sober for 4 years. I didn’t get sober with a program, and my real life friends still drink, so books, podcasts, and internet groups form a huge part of my recovery. Sometimes, though, I get woo-woo miracles-are-happening overload from other recovery resources. I like the tone of this podcast. Chris, Jeff and Matt are smart and goofy, earnest and snarky, and manage to be both reverent and irreverent toward the traditional structures of recovery. It feels relaxed and natural. I also learn a lot. I’ll keep listening as long as they keep putting out episodes.

Getting the male perspective
I love these guys. They helped keep me laughing in my early sobriety. I got sober 3 years ago, 75% for me and 25% to show my grown kids that it is possible to be sober and happy. Both struggle with alcohol. Jeff, Matt, and Chris, when they share their own and their guests’ stories, help me understand what may be going on in the minds of my kids, especially my 23-year old son. Most importantly, they show me hope, and still keep me laughing.

I can’t say enough about this podcast! Jeff, Matt, and Chris are smart, funny, engaging, and living proof that getting sober doesn’t mean losing your edge. An hour spent with them is like hanging out with cool, funny friends, and is an integral part of my own recovery. Love you guys!

Great Podcast
On of my favorite recovery podcast. I have listen to them since they started! Chris, just a short message to you. I would love to hear you apologize less. As a person who does this too, I get it. But you are doing a great service for many people, and you're doing great! You don't owe us anything, so keep doing what you're doing, and give yourself the credit you deserve!!

Love this Podcast Madly
If I could, I'd give this podcast fifty stars. I have wanted to get sober for so many years. Tried various things; no luck I knew AA was probably what I needed (and actually liked the handful of meetings I've been to), but I could NOT imagine when I'd ever be able to commit to the rigor of it: 90 meetings in 90 days??? I have three kids and a job and freelance work and a house to maintain (poorly, as it happens). So I kept putting it off and putting it off and wondering when the day would come. One day it hit me: I want to get sober, so I just need to figure out a way to do it. And this podcast has been a huge gift. These guys are astonishing: real and imperfect and funny and stupid and brilliant. Most of all, they make me realize being sober doesn't mean losing your wicked sense of humor.

Serious and frankly hilarious at times. Great chemistry between Chris, Jeff and Matt. Different perspectives from each. I love that they do not take themselves too seriously yet recovery is very serious to each of them. Look forward to each episode.

AA is not for me but these guys and a few other recovery podcasts are the daily dollop of inspiration, humor, unvarnished honesty, and encouragement I crave. (We are passionate, craving folks!) I listen to them working out and they get me to the fitness center every day. Can’t wait to spend time with my buddies. BIG LOVE

Binge listening and it feels so good
You guys are hilarious, thanks for managing a light spin with just the right amount of cynicism remaining ever self effacing. In a back episode when Matt told his co-workers he was a vegan, I spit out my coffee. Recovery is not a slow dirge, thanks for reminding me.

Sober not Recovered
Recently read about being sober but not having gone through any recovery process. Started listening to podcasts on recovery and I have been extremely fortunate to have found Since Right Now. It is educational, inspiring and has motivated me to go beyond sobriety to actually working on myself. Thank you so much for what you do and for the total honesty you bring. My favorite recovery media thing
I found this podcast before I got sober and it's been part of my life ever since (60 days sober as of this writing). They bring a refreshing amount of levity to life in recovery but can be deadly serious when appropriate. I look forward to hearing my 'sober bros' every week.

Just great
Part of the success of my continued sobriety and recovery can be directly attributed to listening to these guys. They talk about recovery as something that can approached from many directions, not just AA. I can relate to these guys. They make me laugh. The guests are great and the topics vary week to week. I love this podcast! Much better than CATS (reference to SNL).

Excellent Listening
I’ve been meaning to write a review for these guys for a long time. I am 7 months sober today and I credit SRN for helping me through this difficult first year. I have never attended a meeting and have thus leaned on these guys, along with their website blogs to help me along. Jeff, Matt and Chris are, in my opinion, down to earth folks with witty personalities - it’s a bit laughable but I almost consider them my buds at this point. In addition, the guests that they interview are always very insightful and extremely helpful to a person who needs to hear the stories about using and not-using that I can relate to. I look forward to listening every week.

This Just In: People Worldwide Dig Recovery Podcast
I was fairly certain I was THE only person the world who was sober but not in "the rooms." That is, until this year. Finding Chris on Twitter and his KLEN and SOBR/Since Right Now empire has been nothing short of magical. I dig each of the guys' perspectives--Jeff and Matt as the program guys and Chris as the "renegade" recovery rep. I look toward to each week; the show brings its community of listeners some of the finest voices in the new recovery movement. Consider me a fan girl. Laura Silverman, The Sobriety Collective

Lifesaving
I’ve been listening to this podcast since it’s “birth” last year – which coincided with my decision to quit drinking. Meetings weren’t for me, so I sought out whatever I could on the internet. I am eternally grateful (really) to the guys at Since Right Now for putting themselves out there and discussing topics about recovery with such vulnerability and sincerity. There isn’t one episode that hasn’t had at least one “hmmmm” or “a-ha” moment for me. This podcast has been nothing short of instrumental to my continued sobriety. And in case you were wondering, it’s suitable for 12-steppers and non-12-steppers alike.
