Micheal, I live in the upstate New York district where Pat Ryan won. All my female and male progressive friends marked the date and happily voted. My one republican trump light “friend” forgot and didn’t vote. Everyone turn off the talking heads and corporate media (tv and newspapers), they only care about a horse race and depressing us. Thank you, Michael Moore! I listen regularly. How grateful I am for your work. Just listened to Monarchies Schmonarchies. I’ve added Chris Hedges to my Substack reading. I slept in my history classes, unfortunately. When I recently watched The Crown, I understood the absolute entitlement and white supremacy of monarchy. This Hedges article makes the entitlement and brutality viscerally poignant.

Podcast #253 - My Mar-A-Lago Raid: Listened live at the library and laughed all the way through but then stopped laughing. Why? Because you and I both know that only YOU can get away with what was done. Any one of Trump’s favorite targets of hate (Mexicans and African Americans) would be roughed up or shot dead walking into Trump Tower or Mar-a-Lago asking questions the way you did! They rolled out the Red Carpet and when it was discovered who you were, they “showed remarkable restraint” and escorted you off the premises. They may not like you or your politics but you were the right complexion, gender and you were treated accordingly. That’s how it works in America! ——- 08/03/2022 EMERGENCY PODCAST SYSTEM - We Are ALL In Kansas! I was at the library and missed the alert but I listened at 5:48pm. I was viewing the Primary results for a number of states. It’s great what Kansas, KANSAS WOMEN, did. If this isn’t a big “F-You” to Trump, Trump Supporting candidates and others who are anti-woman then the only thing that can top this result is Governorships, Senate Seats and House Seats flip to Democrat! I blame this has occurred with a very evil man in the senate . Mitch McConnell did not follow our democracy rules and manipulated this court appointments to the minority in this country. It is time we have more parties and stop the electoral voting that allows for only two parties. Three justices need to be impeached for lying to the senate in their hearings. We need to fight for our democracy.

I can’t get enough! You just started and I’ve listened to every podcast. The train ride home, on impeachment night, was amazing. Wow!! The description of the GOP was so good I could see them with my eyes. The howls...I want to hear the last howl!! I think you did it for Velshi, on Lawrence’s show. Thank you Michael! Keep it going. This was very poorly done You take cheap shots at Bill McKibben but offer nothing positive as an alternative. Other than calling for many Gretas. Who could argue with that? And you slam the capitalist Dems. Yes of course I agree. But you are so inconsistent. Other times you have sung Biden’s praises. I recommend you bring on guests from Sunrise Movement or Extinction Rebellion who actually have something substantive to say.

Michael, you defended Chris Rock saying it was just a joke and he didn’t know about Jada’s condition. If he didn’t know why her head was bald, why tell a joke about it? If you don’t know why, isn’t that the reason to not tell the joke. Chris Rock made a documentary called ‘Good Hair’ years ago which was all about black women and their hair. He should have known better. Please stop making excuses for him. Thousands of women out there who are bald due to hair loss for various conditions did not think it was funny or okay at all. (Will of course was wrong too but my comment is specifically about you defending joking about women’s looks)

Lost Optimism
I regularly listen to your podcasts because I like and respect you and your views. We’re from a similar time, era and background. Unfortunately, I can not share your optimism. The massive corruption in our country, with its tentacles now reaching into the Supreme Court, has grown too far reaching to fix. Learning that justice Thomas’s wife is promoting and profiting from bringing extreme cases to the court through her own company is beyond the pale. Biden and the dem’s are not working hard enough or fast enough to save our democracy. Biden is acting in good faith, but is acting too slow, like he is still a senator. We need urgent action now. Unfortunately, once again, Manchin and Sinema are acting corruptly and taking money to block good legislation. They don’t care. The dem’s will lose 80 to 100 seats in the House and 5 to 7 seats in the Senate in 2022. They will be in the minority for decades. The DOJ is either do nothing or not nearly enough to bring criminals to justice. Good Americans like you and me need and deserve to see people being indicted and arrested. What happened to the findings in the Muller Report about obstruction of justice? Or the illegal fundraising during the inauguration? These have either gone away or will go away due to statute of limitations. Trump may be reinstated as president illegally in 2024 and the damage to our country will be ereversable. But those with the power to do something are doing nothing, or at least it looks that way.

Always enjoy your podcast and movies, big fan of your work. I don’t buy the sudden performance on the floor of the senate, especially from politicians. For so long they have delayed, denied and dismissed anything related to gun violence (as well as many other crimes committed against humanity) that any act they now present is just that: a show. They are a sophisticated web who may not actually pull a trigger, but know exactly how to deliver a great act to cover any accountability. Greed and the need for power is the first symptom in the mental health that we should be concerned with in our society.

I used to love Michael Moore. But as a social psychologist who has worked as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children and an advocate for victims of sexual assault, I have to say his unwillingness to call out the Biden administration about vaccine mandates and vaccine passports is disgusting. I have worked for years to convince shattered children and women that NO ONE has a right to control their bodies, that they are whole, sovereign people, whose bodily autonomy was given to them by God and protected by the US Constitution. Just as an abuser’s anger doesn’t give them the right to strike a child, and a rapist’s desire does not give them the right to assault a woman, so too, a hypochondriac’s fear does not give them the right to inject other people with a substance against their will. Forcing people to prove they’ve taken this jab to be “allowed” freedom of movement is fascism (literally, the government in cahoots with corporations are now demanding “papers please”). And the fact that Michael Moore has done programs warning against rising fascism in the US, and then stays silent when it is delivered by men in white coats carrying hypodermic needles, is grotesque. If we don’t have bodily autonomy, we are nothing but slaves. Shame on you, Michael Moore. Moreover, by denying other healing modalities including native medicines, Ayurveda, etc. you are behaving like a patriarchal, neocolonial, racist. Have you stopped to ask why 75% of Washington DC is black population has refused this jab? Do they not know what’s best for their bodies? What about the 99% of some native populations? Do they need to be forcibly injected with white man’s poison to alleviate your fear? This entire charade is just shameful. And I’ve followed you for years, so I know you’re not a thoughtless person. Extremely disappointed that Michael Moore had Jordan Chariton on as a guest. Chariton and several of his cohorts were accused of involvement in a rape. Jordan’s reaction to the accusation, and his rewarding of at least one of the people involved (and another person who bullied others on social media who supported the accuser) with jobs or promotion is just unacceptable. Defund the Police?
Our police force in this country has a systemic race problem, a given. However, in 2020 the police killed slightly over 1,000 people. Whereas, 2020 saw over 20,000 fatal killings overall. Yes, our police need an overhaul, but our focus should be on Gun Control! Background checks, automatic and semi-automatic gun ban, mail order gun kits etc. etc. Let us look to reform our gun laws both for the police and our individual citizens.

A voice to put me to sleep!
While I enjoyed Michael’s Oscar segment, two things happened: I realized that his comment about what he didn’t want to watch due to the downer times of the pandemic may be the reason my documentary “Visceral: transforming trauma through theatre” hasn’t been widely embraced. The second is that Michael’s voice is perfect for a podcast (for me) in that it lulls me sleep. This is a GOOD THING! Probably not what he intendeds, though. Corrections
1) Armenian tragedy is not Turkey’s responsibility. Turkey is the successor state that toppled the Ottoman Empire. Because Turkey keeps denying what happened it appears as if Turkey is responsible but it’s not. If anything Armenians should thank the modern Turkish Republic for bringing down the Ottoman Empire. 2) The ottomans did not commit this atrocity vs “a tiny little country” as Armenia did not exist. It rounded up its own civilians, some of who had enlisted in the invading French army and were murdering Turks. 3) Turkish people for the most part have nothing but love for Armenians and get along rather well once the initial finger pointing session ends once they encounter each other.

Tribute to Mom
I just listened to the episode celebrating Mom’s 100 birthday. I was truly touched. She raised a phenomenal son, kind-hearted, smart, witty, and courageous. I started listening to this podcast during the Trump administration. It offered a bit of hope and humor during those dark days. Excellent podcast as in my opinion the Senate has become more powerful at stopping anything “they” don’t want & when Democrats have the majority in both & a old prune faced (McDonnell) can do filibusters sitting down (it’s time for that to stop) as no person could stand for days & talk! Now again, Syria & Iran & of course we must get involved again? No “we” the people are sick of “pretend” wars that never end as big ppl in that legislative branch personally benefit from death weapons 😡. Wake up & wouldn’t it be nice to have a real bullet train and roads, bridges and dams that aren’t rated D- or plain fail as last time real US infrastructure was done under Eisenhower 😳. Calm podcast w humanitarian facts and opinions
If you are lost in all this media drama and just want facts. Here it is. If you want a calm voice that is from a complete Humanitarian, here it is. If you want historical facts. Here it is. Glad to see Michael Moore giving out his voice, opinions, facts, and ways to go from here. Bowling For Columbine was a huge movie for me. I graduate high school in 1996 from an art magnet high school. If I hadn’t been accepted to that high school or if it wasn’t free publix art magnet school, I would’ve graduated from a high school that had race fights between classes. I was blessed but left a lot of friends at that school. I’ve been teaching for 15 years. My school now is gated like a prison. It’s sad. But we can change things. The majority of us aren’t ignorant to the ways to make things better. MM helps all this. It isn’t about hating. It’s about educating and uniting. Keep it up Michael Moore and thank you.

On his TV show and early movies Moore was a master at making other people make complete fools of themselves. He didn’t need to tell us how ignorant or corrupt they were me helped them do it for themselves. If he stuck to that, this would be great. I love Michael more for his honesty, brilliant investigation and also humor. Totally tune into this, you won’t be disappointed. However one of his advertisers is awful, this company Raycon who is ripping off a lot of people right now with their earbuds. Hoping Michael and his people read this so they cut ties because I never received mine and they have not refunded my money. And if you go on their website you’ll see hundreds of people dealing with the same thing.This is the last thing people on a fixed income need to deal with during a pandemic.

This podcast went downhill fast, as Mike sold out to the Biden crowd. He’s been silent on #ForcetheVote and hasn’t mentioned Biden’s healthcare plan not having even the promised public option. He’a also ignored Biden’s increased military actions since taking office, as well as his decisions to keep US embassy to Israel in Jerusalem, the delay of Covid relief checks, the missing $600, and the emerging threats of censorship by the neoliberal establishment. Mike has not responded to my questions about these concerns.

We all owe Michael Moore a huge debt of gratitude for helping us as a nation get through the past four years. In particular, the 157 episodes of Rumble since it launched over a year ago have been informative, enlightening and therapeutic in more ways than words can adequately express. Thank you for also including Langston Hughes’ poem that you recorded at 3am on 1/20/2017 in this episode. The exasperation, angst and sense of helplessness was evident in your voice that day — which sadly became reality and surpassed our worst fears. Thankfully, he is gone (hallelujah indeed!) & will hopefully be convicted & suffer the consequences for all of the heinous crimes that were committed by the worst President in American history — by far. I’m from Michigan and had to write this letter to my Republican Representative, Tim Walberg 12/10/20: I have always been respectful and never have I written a letter of strong disagreement. Your behavior, Mr. Walberg is unbelievably contemptuous of Michigan’s election system and the majority of Michiganders who voted for Biden. Biden can do nothing in the next 4-years that would do harm. Use your brain. He’s going to have his hands full just attending to COVID. In his latest episode of this podcast, which should be renamed ‘Misery Seeks Company’, this ‘film maker’, who seems to have run out of steam amongst his Hollywood brethren, accuses President Trump of lying about having the coronavirus. Maybe Mr. Moore should join the target of his hatred at Walter Reed hospital, the psychiatric ward though, not the COVID-19 patient wing. If you find yourself too happy, give this drivel a listen. You might wind up as depressed as he is. Come on man! Lighten up! Your life can’t be that bad!

I was taking a walk as I listened to this Podcast and must tell you that even though I have felt so down today your words echoed my every feeling. We must get Trump out of office. We must take control of the Senate. I have lost faith in government and I will certainly cement losing faith in many people in my country if he actually is given power again by his followers and enablers. Then there is no denying that it was not an aberration that put him where he is. And to think of the damage he has done and will continue to do. Is this who our country wants to be our leader and image? I want no part of it. So your words lifted me up. These negative feelings can be blown away if we have an amazing show of support for Joe Biden/Kamala Harris and Democrats. I'm excited to think of what we will then not only fix but accomplish for the people - equality, environment, peace, harmony....and the only good that came out ouf this nightmare of Trump is that Americans, especially young people, know that the government is not run on remote ~ we must be alert and connected! I respect and love your passion and ethics, Michael. But this latest podcast concerns me. You have THE EAR of the powerful. I feel you should have quietly contacted the Biden campaign to EDUCATE THEM or admonish them...whatever was appropriate. The people that issued snyder a kudos may be too young or ignorant re his hideous deed. Not sure how others metabolized it, but I felt this was harmful. You may have given trumps campaign something to use against Biden they had not even thought of. I am not a Michigan resident, but I watched in horror re Flint and was amazed that snyder was never held accountable for the atrocity. I’m 72...and I have said since reagan , no one in powerful position is ever HELD ACCOUNTABLE anymore . And we sit here and ask ourselves how we got here!!! I don’t. Accountability begets morality, civility, respect, etc etc. Please, Michael, this pandemic has been stressful for those of us who quarantine, like you in an apartment in NYC, but reach out to a friend that you can speak with before putting out podcasts that may seem positively life-changing but can do more harm than good. I pray that I never hear this indictment against Biden coming from the opposition.

How to drum up excitement for this election to get people to vote
Simply speaking, there is no way to drum up vest widespread excitement about Biden. Let’s face it. There’s nothing to get excited about there. Looking for it is like looking for a pin in a haystack So how can we drum up excitement? Simple! Put up relentlessly and ceasingly (in every way possible), signs, add, people speaking on tv, streaming, Facebook, your podcast, every way you can think of. how can we drop off excitement? Simple! Put up relentlessly in every way possible, signs, media, streaming. How do we win this election? Get the people excited - yes that’s right. How do we get them excited? Telling them simply clearly and in everyday language what and how they are losing and how their lives are being negatively affected by Trump’s policies and actions. Nothing about trumps personal life, no superior morality/blaming attacks like the Democrats do. Just simple statements, short sentences of fact, talking to the masses in their language, making clear to them how what has been enacted and/or done/undone has or will harm them. Most people have short listening tolerance so make statements short, 6th grade level. And repeat and repeat and repeat Take lessons from Trump. He’s a master communicator for our times.

Excellent podcast and Briahna was very knowledgable about the nuances of what has happened. What I had hoped when i heard she was Bernie's national press secretary was that both of either of you could explain why Bernie caved when he had some leverage: namely allowing almost all of his progressive proposals to essentially be omitted from the DNC platform while going on to endorse Biden. THAT WAS THE LEVERAGE HE HAD: as soon as he said he would endorse him that power was gone!! Moving Biden to the left is mainly a fantasy that Bernie may have made a reality. You worked for Bernie and so did Briahna.......how do you two feel about his caving on all of his proposed issues? I would have liked some questions from you to her on that topic. Did you agree to avoid that discussion.ahead of time with her? Neither of you expressed frustration or disappointment in Bernie, except that he would not be on TV again. He, as a threat is squashed so he was given a lead in convention.....same message, with little action. I would have expected Briahna to be candid had you asked her the real questions????

I, too, thought he would choose Susan Rice. But, it was a moment of pure disbelief, joy, and excitement when I read the news at 4:35 PM yesterday. Thank you Michael, for sharing this uplifting message and hearing about the rise of “Justice Democrats.” While I’m encouraged to see people like Cori Bush tumbling a 50 year establishment family democrat in MO; for every one of these justice democrats who wins their democratic primaries, there are Qanon (Colorado bar tender ) and homeschooled evangelicals winning primaries on the right. We are more polarized and divided than ever! How do we win in the general election? Here in NC, the candidate who won the GOP congressional seat that Mark Meadows held, is a 24 yo evangelical homeschooled entrepreneur with no college education. I’m not saying college makes anyone smarter, but if you’ve been homeschooled in an evangelical home, I’m guessing you don’t believe in science and have a very skewed perception of history without the benefit of a liberal college education. And if these people win in the general election, they’re the ones who will be making our laws! Very scary! What do we do now to beat them?

Micheal Moore started out with a great informative podcast in the beginning. When COVID 19 happened he turned the podcast into yelling fire in a movie theater. One episode he turned one episode into the sky is falling show. MM your good on some level of exposing the corruption of America, but pump the brakes a little and keep the knowledgeable guests giving the story needed. Thank you Michael. So Michael, when can we start to talk about the elephant in the room? The apparently incoherent and incompetent reactions of Trump and the Republican Party can be most easily explained by a quite coherent secret strategy of genocide— in this case of the poor, the working class and democrats as a group, including of course black, brown immigrants and any progressives. Look briefly at the extreme right wing commentary and it explains clearly the sinister underlying motives. Trump and Pence are sly and competent puppets for an ideology that is quite simple. In science we value the simplest explanation for the evidence in front of us. Why do progressives twist themselves into pretzels trying to explain Republican inaction. It’s right in front of our eyes. They want us to die. Thank you for your truthfulness and compassion. Mindy Loved the documentary in all its terrible truthfulness! Michael we are bro./sis. from another mother. Are you sure we weren't separated at birth? My birthday is also April of '54! I served 17 yrs. hard time in Catholic schools. Thank god it didn't take. Its apparent that the important thing stuck for both of us....the part where we developed a conscience and a sense of humanity. You have done a masterful job of acting on it and are a great example for the rest of us. I approach my daily walk , (ugh), with a whole different spring in my step when I know I have a new episode of Rumble to take with me. Your description of pacing your balcony to put in the milage is hilarious and makes me grateful that I live in a semi rural area on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state, where the environment is lovely and the state leaders are Democrats. ( Although my community is so red it is painful.). Thanks to your encouragement, I contacted my school board, local city council and newspaper about getting the cops out of our schools. Im sure you can imagine how enthusiastically THAT was received. Like you, (!), health prevents me from going with the crowds to protest, but I'm hearterned to know that I have raised 5 daughters who went out on the streets of Seattle and made their voices heard. A Successor to Ed Schultz?
Michael reminds me of the late Ed Schultz, who was also smart, passionate, and very much on the side of working Americans. This week, I was troubled by a scene in “Planet of the Humans” which I thought implied solar arrays are useless for generating electricity. It did so by showing a tour guide fielding questions while leading a group through the Cedar Street Solar Array in Lansing, MI — a 2008 array made of older, less-efficient solar panels, and located in one of the cloudier and most northern states in the country. The filmmaker didn’t vet what the tour guide said and made no comment about the age of the array or the climate in which it’s located. For me, the scene raised questions not about solar-based electricity, but about the diligence of the filmmaker. I think it’s a mistake.

This is the very first review I have written for any podcast. I am an immigrant from Vietnam and served this country for four years during the first Iraq War . I always enjoy your guest and love your insights about the incompetent president currently I the WhiteHouse! As an citizen now I just don’t get our politics now and I just hope you can help to get this guy out of office please !! Ever since he got elected I just can’t seem to not watch tv everyday and hope he is not there anymore. It’s so depressing but listening to your podcast helps me understand it a little bit more so thank you !

I challenge you to listen to one episode where he isn’t pushing division of Americans. If you want to know facts, research them and speak to people with whom you believe you disagree. You will find what you are being told is complete BS. He speaks lies and loves to drive racial division. People who think like Michael and spread his delusions; destroy any chance of unity between good people. He thinks Americans are as fixated on racism and class envy as he is but the truth is; the overwhelming majority of Americans are simply trying to live, raise good families and behave as good neighbors in our communities. Sure, but please talk more about the Senate
How do you not include the almost more important topic of flipping the Senate? Even if Biden were to win, with a GOP held senate the GOP will pull out the “Block Obama” playbook to stifle anything a Biden administration would try to do. We’ll have 4 years of relative legislative stagnation with a Biden win and GOP held Senate. And, if Biden loses, it becomes even more important to flip the Senate to prevent the Supreme Court from becoming irrevocably and severely unbalanced for a lifetime. Please talk about the importance of flipping the Senate!

To whom it may concern, As a previous subscriber to this podcast I have to let you know that after viewing Planet of The Humans, my disappointment and disgust was unprecedented. I have been an ecosystem activist living off grid for three decades and I found the disinformation and false assertions in the film extremely disturbing. Such fossil fuels propaganda can now be easily used to weaken efforts to reform energy and climate activism worldwide. Please in the future, seriously vet productions that you release and consider the consequences of inaccuracies at the scales you produce.

I have been a fan of Michael Moore’s since Fahrenheit 9/11. Thank you for this podcast. It is one of the few that is keeping me sane during the pandemic and this administration. Not only has Mr. moore been right about a lot of things but he has brought on a number of guests that are not always on cable news. I hope that people will be motivated to do something to address the inequities in our society after the pandemic. As a two time cancer survivor, my dream is to see universal healthcare coverage (or something similar) become a reality. I too like Bernie Sanders. My hometown is across the lake from Vermont so I have known about him for over 30 years. I am not sure if we will ever see someone like him as president but I have noticed many of his ideas are already becoming part of the mainstream. Keep it up mr. moore. I hope to someday meet you.

Underestimated Heart
I must admit that as an elder Alaskan, in all these years I’ve yet to see even one Michael Moore movie! But the current BadBug Storm has offered me the opportunity to hear more podcasts, and I am so impressed with this one. Yes this man is sharp, with a hefty dose of ideological righteousness... but that seems to be found in many locales on our increasingly strident internet. What impresses me most about Michael Moore is his prodigious heart, and the courageous and creative way he expresses it. He is interesting, reasonably humble, and fundamentally compassionate. Most of his pods reflect those qualities, and I always emerge from listening each time enlivened, and sometimes troubled by the honest perspectives he reveals. Thank You Michael, for your inspiring humanity!

Wow! Just stuck it out for Moore’s lengthy, but so worth it interview with Roger Waters. I’ve been a Pink Floyd fan since my college days, and remember watching the mesmerizing lights of my roommate’s equalizer while playing “Wish You Were Here” at full blast as an almost out-of-body experience, but to hear Waters speak to our past and current political scene as the sage, timbral voice of Michael Moore respectfully guided the conversation along was, while not quite out-of-body, most definitely mind blowing! I am a little bit floored by your docu-film. Considering it’s riddled with outdated and some debunked theories. I enjoyed your podcast, but I think this was the end of the road for me personally. These misguided arguments of renewable energy.. I mean, what? Did you really stamp your name on this? There is so much filth and conspiracy thrown out there into the world as it is.. this added to it. It’s upsetting to see such misleading disinformation pushed into the world. It feels almost like the point was to make some sort of nonsense click bait for affirmation. It’s... depressing. I think I’ll be unsubscribing. Because I cannot support this in good faith.

Comfort for my progressive millennial soul
You are an American hero. Thanks for keeping it unrelentingly real. Really appreciate where you are coming from with Planet of the Humans- shining a light on the pathetic excuses presented to us as ‘green’ solutions AND I think it’s important to start talking about viable solutions and instances where non-extractive based solar technology DOES make sense ie. Solar thermal (no batteries or heavy metals required) for heating water in certain climates and passive solar design as a major way to increase efficiency. Efficiency and good design are key and we certainly can’t risk lumping all solar technologies into the same category- as many of these are ancient technologies used by indigenous cultures who understood how to respectfully live within their environmental means.

Planet of white male American humans
No excuse for supporting and promoting Jeff Gibbs’ sloppy hit job on Bill McKibben in particular. I listened with interest to previous shows but can’t abide by Moore’s justification for going after the green movements “sacred cows” based on outdated data... and of course never giving those lambasted a chance to rebut the claims...or update the Planetary Emergency, which Moore seems to be a new concert to. Naomi Klein cautioned Moore about the flaws in the film, but spoiling the 50th anniversary of Earth Day party was too hard to resist. I was a fan but no longer.

Michael Moore will have a net negative impact on the world
Unsubscribed after I saw his most recent documentary on climate change. There is a reason Breitbart has an advertising campaign for this film after its release. This film, from one of the highest profile Left culture leaders, will destroy the credibility of the environmental and renewable energy movement and feed the most dangerous type of climate denialism: “climate change is serious, but the solutions the Left is offering will not do anything. We have to just accept the coming catastrophe.” Michael Moore will have a role to play in the ecofascism of the 21st century.

Got me thinking...
Recently I came to the conclusion that nature/the laws of physics will severely decrease if not eliminate our species from earth one way or another. This planet will do just fine once it’s rid of us or once equilibrium has been restored. After watching Planet of the Humans last night, which was excellent, I came to the conclusion that we humans would have a better chance of surviving if most of the males of our species were eliminated. Generally speaking (yes, I am grossly generalizing), it has been men, in their seemingly insatiable quest for power, control and domination over all things that got us here. Perhaps testosterone was never meant to be so dominant and unopposed.

Episode 71 — A Most Important Revelation!!
To Michael and Jeff Gibbs: You know... as I attempt to explain the strange phenomenon of my personal anticipation of your podcasts, content, various guests.... and not always fully agreeing with your points of view, nonetheless Wanting and Needing to hear them, absorb and focus on what matters most — The Truth — I believe if there is a Rumble episode more important than this one, I would argue that This One has to be Experienced! I honestly heard roughly the first 10-15 minutes of it, and made the choice to Stop/Pause it, and FIRST go to your YouTube link to watch your New Film, “Planet Of The Humans”. I was so very correct with that decision! I watched and learned; intense emotions were all over the place, as I sat there in my isolated apartment in Charlotte, NC, mostly shaking my head in “shock” “disbelief” “sadness”, erupting in tears at points where those emotions couldn’t be contained. The Truth Hurts. The Truth is Ugly. The Truth is Our Reality. What can we do about it? My “bottom line” conclusion is that it will take a Collective Mass of Geniuses to Invent and Create the Solution to our “Green Problem” that, tragically, Every So-Called Hero we’ve put our faith, trust and support in for the past 30 - 40+ years, have All Lied to us! Where does this leave us Now? Where will we ever, in our lifetime, be able to feel safe, content and Optimistic about the future. Is it Over for us? How can we ever Trust any of the Environmentalists we believed in before? How do they sleep at night? These are the questions I’ve been pondering for the past 24 hours. And when I went back to finish listening to Rumble-Episode 71, your voices and thoughts cemented one idea: We Need More of This! I must thank you both and your team for giving us the Truth. It’s sad it took years for it to finally emerge. But now that it is out, I do believe this Truth must be widely spread. We All must, at the very least, assist in this effort. I beg you both to get your voices and faces on every possible Newscast/Show out there. (watched you last night on Colbert) and your next stops should be CNN, MSNBC, FOX!, BBC; and every News Network and Show out there! (also miss you on Bill Maher!) Your effort has to be Worldwide! This needs to inspire today’s Youth to turn their minds, skills & focus on Physics, Science and the Solution! Fossil Fuels and Electricity — how can they ever be truly replaced? Thank Michael for all you’re saying in these podcasts. I love your courage to speak truth to power candidly and thoughtfully. Along with conversations about the healthcare system, we need to talk again about the education system. I have taught PreK-8th grade for 20 years. I taught in the nyc area in public and private schools. I’ve taught in various rural, poor and wealthy communities. I stopped teaching (I loved it. It was a calling for me) because I could no longer stand to be a part of system that is run by fear, money, and dominant egos. My soul couldn’t bare it. I could no longer wear the “poker face” at parent conferences. The system does not support individual cognitive, social and emotional learning. It does not support moral racial justice and advocacy development. The leadership does not set the tone on the value of relationships between teachers, families and administration. Many teachers and leaders in the system don’t even have a BS in psychology. The administration has teamed up with families and bullied the poor teachers to the point that teachers will just do what they’re told to survive not becuase it’s in the best interest of the child. The teachers are powerless because they are outnumbered. Education, like healthcare and the auto industry, has become a business and has nothing to do with developing the whole child and support or guide families improve the way they treat their children at home and more. Leadership in education is about growing your teachers. If teachers’ adult development is not supported, then schools don’t grow. I am concerned that leaders of schools don’t know to do this. They typically don’t have MA or PhD in adult development and leadership for change. Teachers continue to be babysitters, moms, dads, grandparents and more and have taken on those roles plus the many other educational responsibilities. There has been little change in the school structure since the first school in the MA in 1600s. Any teachers who speak up and try to work with the administration are seen as incompetent and have been “removed”. I’ve seen the most compassionate, innovative, thoughtful creative educators who solved many of the technical and adaptive problems in schools leave the field. Many early childhood facilities are in effectively funded. The leaders of these institutions are not qualified to lead daycares and develop curriculum for young children who’s brains and personalities are at the most vital and sensitive stages of development. Please talk more about the broken Age 3-12th grade educational system. Many other systems, like the health care system or any system created by adults, are broken because education is a big part of creating adults who create egoic adults who create broken health and financial systems. The broken education system is destroying early, elementary and adolescent and young adult development to the point that adults become very selfish and greedy and/or develop several mental disorders. The highest rates of depression and anxiety are between the ages of 10-25. I’d be happy to share more information about the broken education system. I have many vital stories because I’ve taught in different socioeconomic communities. Thank you again for all you do. Keep on keepin on. Some people can’t handle the truth so they tell themselves what they hear/see day in and day out isn’t reality. I don’t worship anyone. I think critically for myself and am a huge skeptic. You say out loud what many people know and believe. I have faith in this country. We will pull through this! Thank you and keep doing what you do every day to inspire people to keep going!

Question: I love you, but...
Why should we want Biden and DNC to win? I’ve been in violent relationships and struggled to leave, and voting for Biden is like telling me not to leave an abuser because I can’t make it on my own. The bandaid needs to come off quickly. They have no reason to give us anything if we stay in this abusive relationship. Rip the band aid off. 8 yrs of Biden and the DNC not changing is worse than 4 of Trump. We at least have a shot in 4 yrs. But if Biden wins we are looking at a possible 4 elections! Maybe more. How can you reconcile that? I got out of that abusive relationship, want to school, top of my class, and wound up in close to $100,000 debt with a $40,000 salary as a university administrator and Rheumatoid arthritis. I tried to go to grad school but since I’m in loan default, they won’t release my transcript. I rent because my ex destroyed my credit and have zero savings. You’re telling me to stay in this relationship? I’m not sure that’s the best advice.

Michael I love your passion, and your life’s work. I truly appreciate and love you as a human. I believe that in order to change the vast majority of people we have to address the fact that the majority of people subscribe to the major news outlets (CNN MSNBC NPR FOX ) and the like. You have a platform as you know, and I think you use yours well. You put out a lot of content and I love it but in the end it only amounts to around an hr a day. There are sooo many fantastic sources podcasts and such you could help the masses to hear. I heard about your podcast on Democracy Now. You said we don’t hear from chompsky and Klein but they are often on democracy now as well as thunberg and many many others. I think it won’t fix the problem, but it could help if you share those other podcasts from your platform. Citations needed, congressional dish, philosophize this, just to name some of my favorites. I love you Mike keep up the hard work I’ll do the same.

Shut it all down!
We can still try and strike even from home. I don’t know how feasible it is but we can still shutdown the country via the internet. Anyone who works remotely needs to stop and those who aren’t should not use any electronic devices. Obviously if a person is working an absolutely essential job and needs to continue working they should and if someone needs an electronic device for some major life thing they shouldn’t stop. But for those of us who aren’t we can still make this machine silent. It will be a test of wills but we can go without tv, the internet, social media, etc for a few days or week. Maybe this could work. Mr Cheeto head obviously loves all the attention he gets by doing the daily press conferences and since we know he’s such a narcissistic, depriving him of that desire could be so devastating to him.

Fantastic interview. Galbraith has great ideas that should be taken up. But don’t write Bernie Sanders off, please, and give him the credit he deserves! He’s leading a movement and a campaign that is doing a lot of good in the world already, regardless of what happens in the Democratic primaries to come. Good but Too Much......
I enjoy this podcast, I got this far, almost 60 episodes. But enough! I’m not sure why you think you need to be on every day. We have lives. We have things we like to do. We also may listen to other podcasts. But how can you expect us to listen to you for up to 2 hours every day? I don’t think that’s fair or feasible. I figured I might check in and see if you have a guest I’m interested in. But I’m not even going to do that. I think it’s awfully selfish of you to think that you can monopolize people’s time like this. I have listened to other Daily podcasts for example The Daily which is great and true journalism not punditry. If you ever decide to go to a feasible once a week I’d consider listening Again but really just stop. I just can’t with this anymore. I’m not the only one either. What number are you on the download chart now? Well you did this to yourself by expecting too much.

COVID-19 and childbirth
The COVID-19 coverage has been very helpful. Living in NYC I appreciate the truth and know it when I hear it. Issue I am confronting is my baby is due in the coming weeks and facing the possibility of not being allowed to be in the delivery room with my wife. While things are changing everyday and the policy may be altered, what rights can we have? Further, perhaps all babies during the pandemic should be born in locations other than hospitals but with hospital equipment... thanks again for all your hard work.

Today I learned that my son, a Doctor in Detroit, MI, told his Mother-in law, that his Hospital (Henry Ford-Detroit) was at the point of having to use TP for surgical masks! This may sound tongue & cheek, but it isn’t. I spoke to his mother-in-law & she told me that she was she was making surgical masks w/fabric she had and elastic - from a pattern she got from the CDC!!! I could heard her sewing machine as we spoke! She will head downstate as soon as she gets the word that her daughter is in labor...taking her sewing machine & masks!! I can add names if you call or write back , I can’t without talking to each of them for their permission. Maybe interviewing a Dr in the trenches would light a fire 🔥 under many of your listeners.

But I think we can agree that sanitizer or hand soap is the most basic protection these people can have. They can’t order any more to arrive before the end of April. I understand you’re scared. But there’s literally NOTHING you can do (accept keeping your distance from others. Stay in if you can- some people have no choice). Making people panic will only make it worse. That’s why elderly people can’t get toilet paper. Morons are panicking and making things worse. Michael - I have tried like heck to stick with you. But these last 15 or so episodes have been so disappointing. Early on you committed your full support to whomever wins in the primaries. Now that it is NOT Bernie, your raking candidate after candidate over the coals. I was not a supporter of either Bernie or Biden as the races began. We have not had our primary in my state yet so I am bummed that I won’t get to vote for my first or second choices. But I am nit going to have a pity party for them, I am going place a vote for my fourth or fifth choice. So be it. What I am not going to do is go around berating whomever the Democratic winner. And I am not going to spew all sorts of crazy conspiracy theories about the Party stalwarts intentionally tanking Bernie. It is so disappointing that you are taking this tact... Yes, you can pass a law.We are often told that we are led by a “government of the people, by the people, for the people.” But being a liberal/left/progressive/Democrat in a red state, run by a red legislature intent on banning books, suppressing the vote of its Black and Brown citizens, and stripping women of their right to bodily autonomy, it can feel more like you’re living in a 16th century Christian state or last week in Alabama. And change seems at best improbable, but most often impossible. Yet, 26 states — including a bunch of red states like Mississippi, Florida, Wyoming and more — offer a clear path for citizens to create change and pass laws themselves, through ballot initiatives.
