Ruined by uninformed hosts
Listening to their “review” of Spare. Both admit they haven’t read the book and note that other publications and news outlets have taken information out of context, but then they do exactly the same thing. If you’re going to give your opinion, you have to actually read the book before doing so, otherwise you just sound like two obnoxious morons. Unfollowing.

Used to love Tea Time, Moving on to Jam Session
TeaTime was my go to for pop culture news, and I loved learning about obscure things happening on the internet. The inclusion of CringeMode has really limited the amount of pop culture news, and more effort seems to go into prepping and discussing the CringeMode movies than actual pop culture news. I’ve recently started listening to JamSession to make up for the change. JamSession has been great and super informative!

Tired of Tea Time’s Cringe Mode
Tea Time has been my favorite podcast since I started listening to Kate, Amelia, & Liz back in 2019. But I’m SO sad that Tea Time become so structured and is now way more movie-based than pop culture. They will rush through maybe two or three bits of celebrity news and then will talk about the Cringe Mode movie for the majority of the podcast. Even though I’ve seen a lot of the movies they watch, I don’t really enjoy this segment because it’s repetitive and has completely taken over the podcast. If they did it like once a month, or just for 10 minutes at the end, that would be so much better. Tea Time used to my go-to spot for fun pop culture chats and good energy but I’m going to have to move on. Makes me really sad. :’(

Great, except…
Please stop bringing on Amanda dobbins to these episodes - i already can’t listen to the Ringer Big Picture anymore because of her negativity. She hates the royals, she hates horror or genre films, she hates literally everything … so what does she bring to the table on either show?! Lastly, want to apologize yet for the false and hateful reporting on the Depp Heard trial? The man is innocent. Every single host on that episode admitted they “watched clips” of the trial. As a journalist, i witnessed the whole thing. If you had actual objective hosts on the show who researched topics before openly discussing them, those episodes would have turned out far different. So dissapointing. And Ps. don’t dismiss my take as “a depp fantastic”… I’ve literally never seen most of his films. I did however, see and hear the trial.

Used to be better
I used to look forward to Tea Time and listen to it the minute it dropped but lately I feel like the takes that Kate and Amelia share lack nuance and thoughtfulness. They seem to always gravitate towards the snarkiest take at the expense of actually explaining the situation accurately. I know Amelia’s review of potential girlfriends for Leonardo DiCaprio was a joke but I found it pretty gross and disappointing. I’m sad that I don’t enjoy this pod as much as I used to!

A litttttle ignorant
Just listened to the Hairspray ep and the hosts were ruminating about Elijah Kelley and Nikki Blonksy not having had success. They both seemed baffled at these talented people not having had better careers and to these hosts I ask, have you heard of racism and body discrimination? Came off really ignorant.

Bonkers take
The take on Amber heard is pretty ridiculous. Still stand by that? Btw I’m a female survivor and I find you two to be willfully ignorant. I don’t care at all about depp but I recognize abusive behavior in heard. So many have, that’s why people care. And to lie about the things she did? Thats what sets us all back from being believed. I hope you watch all of her testimony and confront for yourselves about whether you really believe her.

No mention of women’s rights on tea time. Seriously? During the the George Floyd protests every pod proclaimed their support for the cause at the top of the pod. A couple of suggestions
I love Tea Time and the camaraderie between the host. I especially like Liz Kelly, she seems like such a sweet person. Amelia has a very chaotic energy, but it works with the show. She’s the zany one. I really like Kate Halliwell’s dry wit, BUT I hate that she keeps mentioning that celebrities that marry “nobodies”( meaning non- famous people) disappoint her. I find that so demeaning. And she’s said it on so many shows. This week she said it again on the Spider-Man movie relationship pipeline in regards to Emma Stone’s husband. There’s just no need to be that rude - repeatedly!!! I really like Jam Session but Amanda Dobbins is soooo condescending. She needs to stop with that “I wish them well” nonsense. And I liked the Just Like Us and Every Album Taylor Swift pods too.

Tabloid
So interesting series but Us and People at the time we’re not actually tabloids. They just were not. They were entertainment magazines that featured profiles and articles with consented interview profiles and had very small sections of stars out and about - the actual supermarket tabloids and page six were different and bottom of the barrel at the time.

Clare’s new series is fantastic
You won’t regret giving Clare Malone’s series a listen. Clare is a talented interviewer and her commentary here is characteristically sharp. I appreciate the transparent, self-aware quality of her perspective. Witty and thoughtful analysis without talking down to the listener. I urge this podcast to improve the format of their feed. This series is buried within the feed, with random unrelated episodes scattered in between. This series should be listed as its own season or in an extras section for more user-friendly access.

Enjoy, but the time stamps drive me nuts
Super fun podcast! This is my to-go light hearted listen. That said, when there’s something specific I want to skip to, it drives me crazy that the time stamps in the episode descriptions don’t match the actual time stamps in the episode. Like, what’s the point of including them if they’re wrong?

“we wish you well”
Love anything with Juliet; tolerate condescending Dobbins. The “just like us” production started well!! Then episode 2 moved over to the dark side of compliments to the stalking photogs of Diana — they are in museums! Extremely Gross. Do Better, as Amanda her righteous self commands of everyone. “I wish you well” who says that so inauthentic?

Just like Us is a huge step down
I normally love the content on this channel, but their recent offering “Just Like Us” is awful. None of the insight I come to expect from the regular hosts on Jam Session and Tea Time. They interview some truly terrible people (which can be good journalistically!) but then the host Claire Malone doesn’t address the terrible things they say. She sounds like she can’t see what’s in front of her, it’s strange. I really wish they’d separate it into a different feed.

Tea Time is a Treasure
I listen to a lot of podcasts, and a lot of Ringer podcasts. A few months back, on another Ringer pod (The Big Picture, probably), Chris Ryan and Amanda Dobbins talked about how they were recognized by a fan at a bar. They mused about which podcast would have been the fan’s favorite, and figured that, since the fan was late-30’s or older, it was probably The Rewatchables. I’m a huge fan of The Rewatchables, and The Big Picture, but as I listened to the story, it occurred to me that, had they asked me, it might have surprised them when this over-50’s guy answered Tea Time. The chemistry between the 3 hosts (and Kaya) is off the charts. I’ll laugh out loud several times each episodes. All of them are young, just starting out in journalism, and massively talented and charismatic. They’re all going to have tons of opportunities coming their way. Hopefully they’ll keep doing this pod for a long time, but you never know, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Ehh Tea Time over fam
Tea time is so juvenile - as if you were overhearing coworkers talk about work when they know their boss is listening. Like they are better than the celeb news that they cover. They don’t seem to actually like their jobs. Often times mock or dislike the topics they choose but need to get through them with Liz the conservative one, Amelia the daring one with watered down unpopular opinions and kate with the sarcastic ‘over it’ attitude. Why does tea time have to be in the same feed as jam session and why am I spending this time writing a review? Maybe if you hate your job just do something else, I thought the Ringer promoted following your passion

Holy microaggressions and white feminism
The microaggressions on ringer dish range anywhere from subtle to full on dog whistles. It made listening to the podcast both maddening and saddening. There is no self reflection and they are the typical white liberals. They hate racism and talk about the big things but then go right back to their ways and are shocked when racism happens again. No reflection of their own contributions or how they can improve. Having a mostly white audience is a choice but obviously that’s the target audience so it’s chill. I’m used to things like this. I’ve had to move on from this podcast and find pop culture podcasts by BIPOC hosts.

Good… need improvement re: ringer dish
I really don’t mean to be rude.. but Amanda Dobbins does not speak cohesively. When she rambles, it’s absolutely impossible to follow her train of thought, whereas Juliet is crystal clear and thoughtful. PLEASE come prepared or just stop the incoherent rambling with misplaced ‘big’ words.

Juliet is great, Amanda needs to prepare
I find myself having to fast forward through Amanda‘s ramblings. Juliet seems to show up prepared with interesting commentary while Amanda is trying to think of it live hence the rambling and slow talking. Many months later she still not getting better. I’m sure she’s a very nice person but it’s like listening to a friend that just wants to hear her self talk that’s not saying much. Updated review to say Many months later I’m still listening to Amanda ramble I don’t understand why she won’t prepare. I guess this is a situation where I need to either stop fast forwarding or find other pop culture pods because I just can’t bear to listen to it! Just get to the point and prepare in advance so you know what your point is!

I think Nora and Nathan were a joy to listen to, and I applaud you guys for being super fans enough to do this. My couple comments.....to cut Afterglow but keep London Boy?!? Ugh. And Nathan’s harsh criticism of reputation in the beginning of that episode was confusing. As super fans that album is widely agreed upon as one of her best. But this is why we all have our own opinions, and I enjoyed having my silent agreements or arguments with them while listening! Thanks for keeping one of Taylor’s best eras alive!!

Get rid of Amanda Dobbins
The Every Album by Taylor Swift podcast is excellent podcasting and makes me realize why I dislike Amanda Dobbins and why I no longer listen to Jam Session even though I love Juliet Litmen and her original Right Reasons podcast at Grantland is what brought me to The Ringerverse in the first place. Thankfully I can get funnier and better takes on pop culture from the excellent Tea Time ladies. Amanda uses a tone in all of her podcasts that makes her sounds holier than thou as if her opinion on pop culture is the only one that matters. I will never get over how she has repeatedly bashed Taylor Swift’s album Reputation even though by her own admission she’s listened to it exactly one time (a fact she gleefully retells as if that makes her cool). She’s also regularly condescending toward her cohost Juliet in a way that makes me think they can’t possibly like each other outside of the office. As a self professed film buff, I won’t even touch her other podcast the big picture because I can’t be bothered to hear her bad opinions. I think the ringer verse as a whole would be better off without her.

Taylor 101 with Profs Nora and Nathan
This is a brilliant pod from The Ringer. I feel like I’m majoring in Taylor Studies every time I listen to an episode. Nora and Nathan know their stuff and do a tremendous job of melding fandom, journalistic chops, musicality discussions, and pop culture context into a fantastic discussion of each album and how it shaped Taylor’s career from the most driven and talented teen to break into country to the Queen of Pop. Well done to you both, looking forward to hearing your takes on 1989!

Taylor Swift Mini-Series
As a die-hard swiftie, this series is literally everything. Grew up listening to Taylor, but was way to young to remember the media and music worlds perception and opinion on her and her rise to stardom, especially beginning of her career, so it’s been so awesome to listen to the context surrounding it. Cannot wait to listen to the next pods for later albums & remember how I perceived them and how I remember other people perceiving them! Also, thought I would listen and get angry if you guys were too critical, but you guys have done such an amazing job so far of remaining objective yet supportive of Taylor and I love it!! (ps i’m sad about the lack of talk about the way i loved you on the fearless pod)

‘Taylor Swift’ - New Favorite Podcast
One episode in and I am legitimately obsessed with this podcast. Taylor Swift is the greatest singer/songwriter in the history of time & she deserves this type of in-depth and thoughtful analysis. My partner is a certified Swiftie and has been since day one (like, running a TS fan account level Swiftie). I only joined the fandom at 1989 so I missed out on a lot of the social and interpersonal context surrounding all of Taylor’s prior music. This podcast is like hopping in a time machine back to 2006 where I can learn about everything I missed out on while I was busy being one of those high school jocks that Taylor could have written a breakup song about. Honestly - I am unbelievably grateful that I can join this journey through Taylor’s albums and I’ve already learned so much from the first episode - I can’t wait to hear the rest. Thank you both for making this, and thanks Bill Simmons for recognizing how important this conversation is and giving it the platform it deserves.

Please separate shows
I LOVE Jam session and anything Juliet Litman’s does. The Challenge recaps are also fun and so are the special episodes covering pop culture events. I wish these shows all had their own channel because I have to delete Tea Time every week (the format doesn’t make any sense and the hosts don’t seem like they really know enough about pop culture to give an educated discussion).

They’ve devolved into simply making fun of Nam for not speaking English well. Jacoby literally called him dumb this episode because of his English fluency.

Tea Time
Hearing Kate Halliwell declare “We believe women” after her ableist coverage of female celebrities with chronic illness last year was... not fun. I get that Tea Time wants to be light but I really hope the hosts take the time to learn how the narrative they perpetuated harms disabled women. In that exact episode they talk about holding women accountable and if they mean that they should apply it to themselves too- hoping to hear from them on this.

Bill can’t seem to get through an episode without making fun of Aneesa’s weight, and is now making light of post-party depression ( the eyebrow comment in regards to Teresa was gross).

“The Challenge”... Natalie was pregnant and then had a miscarriage
So normally I listen to “The Challenge podcast” hosted by Tori and Anessa which is definitely better than this podcast and recommend it... However I wanted to switch it up and listen to some other people talk about the show. So when I stumbled upon this podcast I was super excited because it seemed like it was going to be good... but honestly the host are just plain rude. They make fun of people who aren’t completely fluent in the English language and fat shaming a lot. On top of that they talk women on the show is pretty disrespectful way. I was hoping for better but all I got was disappointment.

Need to get better handle on the Facts
Wish this was better bc the story is brilliant but the podcasters covering this need to immerse themselves better in the topic bc between the mispronunciations, scrambling of details at times feels super unprepared and rushed. Grating voices
I’ve been listening to these women for some years now. But I just can’t listen to them anymore. Teatime I think there’s a better offer female pop-culture channel and it’s not because I’m younger. I’m a 40-year-old man. I just think Julia and Amanda have really irritating voices in the topics they been covering the last year I’ve just not been as good as the early days. Plus like all Bill Simmons podcast, there infusing their ideology into it. Which honestly I think it’s a big mistake. I will not miss them when they moved to Spotify

Really enjoy this!
I found this podcast through listening to many others of the Ringer network and really enjoy it. I like that it has a rotating cast of women as the host (a rarity on the Ringer) and I love the pop culture talk. My one note is just to point out I was a little uncomfortable when you all were speculating about Meghan Markle being pregnant (when she and Harry were placing flowers at the cemetery). Pregnancy always seems like such a sensitive topic. To then find out a few months earlier she actually suffered a miscarriage makes speculating about her weight seem a little (unintentionally) callous. I would just be mindful of that in the future with any woman! But overall I really really enjoy whenever this podcast comes into my feed!

Definitely watch The Hookup Plan!
I have been meaning to give my recommendation for you to watch the French show on Netflix called The Hookup Plan, and then I heard Juliet mention it today! It is everything that Emily in Paris is not. (I liked that too but it is so American centric). I think The Hookup Plan does a much better job of showcasing real French young women- friendships, romance, life in Paris... I mean it is a French show— so not a surprise. Would love to hear your review!

A wonderful fun, funny, smart group of women to hang out with!
All these women are so fantastic. I could listen to a new episode every single day. I love their personalities. I love the way they interact. I love their smarts. And I always laugh out loud more than once per episode. This is my favorite podcast and I’m a podcast junkie. Most are political. And since The Atlantic magazine called me a “Silicon Valley branding executive turned neuroscience researcher,” I also listen to neuroscience podcasts. But wow, when I want to/need to feel good and hang out with a wonderful group of smart and fun women, Ringer Dish is IT.

Came here in my never-ending search for content
I started listening to podcasts on the Ringer Dish feed, especially Jam Session and Tea Time, during the quarantine. A few months later and my search for content has led me to becoming a K-Pop fan. I’ve gone back and listened to Kate and Isaac’s other K-Pop episodes on Ringer Dish, and I really enjoyed them. Leaving this review in the hopes that there will be more to come. Some hosts are great
...some hosts are not. I love Kate, Liz and Amelia of Tea Time. Their banter is natural, lighthearted and entertaining. The reading of Liz’s childhood journal was hysterical and should be a standing bit. Jam session’s hosts are mixed. Juliette is effortless in her discussion and commentary. Brings up great points but doesn’t ramble. Unfortunately Amanda is not the same...have to fast forward because she tends to get into rambling monologues where her speech slows and eventually stops making sense. Would be a better show with a different host who can match Juliet’s cadence and wit.

Tea Time is a must-listen
The Ringer has so many podcasts that it can be hard to keep track of them all, but don't let that be the reason you miss out on Tea Time, which is one of the best podcasts out right now. Kate, Liz, and Amelia are hilarious and have amazing chemistry. Listening to an episode feels just like eavesdropping on great friends having fun conversations. I went in thinking I wasn't that interested in celebrity news but after binge-listening to all their episodes on the feed, I'm a total convert. Love the Jam Session ladies too, but Tea Time is truly in a class of its own. Give it a listen!

Have listened since the beginning and finally writing this. I’m loathe to hate on a woman’s voice if she can’t change it, but I always feel like Amanda could just clear her throat or something and sound ok. Thank you Tea Time hosts for holding yourselves accountable.
The Ringer as a website already has a reputation for not elevating black voices, and the glaring lack of racial diversity in their podcast hosts is a stark example. As a result I was not expecting either tea time or ringer dish to meaningfully address the Black Lives Matter movement, or the lack of representation on their own programs. I was therefore pleasantly surprised and even impressed when the Tea Time hosts took the time at the beginning of their June 12 episode to talk about tangible changes they plan to make to their podcast, and how they plan to work to become better allies. Even though your show is purely for entertainment, the celebrities & the industry you cover are not exempt from contributing to or being victims of systemic racism, and at this moment it’s extremely important for non-black allies to take a stand against racial inequality, use their privilege and make it clear their POC listeners are more than just a boost in ad revenue to the hosts. Their disclaimer makes the silence of their counterparts at Ringer Dish all the more noticeable. Listening to Amanda and Juliet you would think there wasn’t a global struggle for racial justice happening right in front of their eyes. Heck, even the week they took off from the podcast that the Tea Time hosts labeled as time to reflect & support organizations dedicated to racial justice may as well have been a beach vacation for the Ringer Dish hosts - not only did they not give a reason for the break, all the episodes since where they’ve had the perfect opportunity to make it clear they actually care about their listeners of color they’ve instead chosen to talk circles around the issue and be complicit in ignoring the voices of black people across the country speaking out against an unjust system. Whether you like it or not, hosting a podcast on a well known podcast network gives you a platform, and if you aren’t using that platform to speak LOUDLY and CLEARLY in support of racial equality and diversity, you are part of the problem. Occasionally stanning Meghan Markle does not mean you're not racist. Mentioning an author of color every once in a blue moon on your book club does not mean you’re not upholding white supremacy in your work, in your writing and in the content you choose to cover in your podcast. Multiple podcasts that cover pop culture, including your own colleagues, have taken the time to inform their listeners of how they plan to educate themselves & be a part of the solution rather than hinder progress amid the biggest civil rights movement of our lifetimes - it’s a shame the Ringer Dish hosts haven’t made that small effort, despite all the resources available to them and an audience that many justice activists could only dream of having. I’ll listen to Tea Time only from now on.

A mess.
The Alison Roman part 2 discussion was quite frankly unlistenable. Juliet and Amanda seemed terrified to say anything or make a real point so they talked in cliches and parroted points other people have already made and their guest went after Alison Roman’s appearance and lifestyle (she is a Jewish woman) in I way that felt he was antisemitic..talking about the shadowy group that was protecting her??? I don’t like what she did and would enjoy a conversation about her but attacking her for how she looks or tone of voice instead of her ideas felt anti feminist and very prejudiced against Jewish people, given her background. Yikes just yikes.

5 stars - just for survivor
I absolutely adore the ringer network, but I’ve come to accept that not all of their pods are for me. I’m not the biggest fan of all of their hosts and since I’ve found that if I’m not invested in the topic I don’t care, but when I find a niche I’m in love. So for this I found out Riley hosts a survivor recap show and I ADORE it and him. But so much other stuff is on this pod I can’t subscribe. I wish the survivor one was separated, but I understand why it’s not since it’s just one show. But it’s a can’t miss. Riley is extremely knowledgeable about the show, which I find super helpful for a newbie survivor fan like me, and I love that each episode has a different ringer guest so I can hear from my favs from other pods like Sean, Chris, or Mallory and also hear new people! It’s exactly what I need since I always want to talk about shows after I finish and if a lot of friends don’t watch I love that I can turn to this! I feel like chatting with my friends even though they don’t hear me! Highly recommend if you want a survivor follow up!

Feedback for hosts
Juliet Litman continues to be one of the hosts / guests that I cringe when I hear her takes. On the recent coverage of Survivor the lack of understanding how and who is playing the game is frustrating to listen to and misleads listeners. I don’t mean to attack her as a person but just wish she was a little more prepared for her takes and voicing her opinions.

All the KPOP
So I’m a complete novice to the Kpop scene. And by novice I mean I fell down a rabbit hole last summer and have not looked back. With that being said, I only listen to the podcast episodes that talk about Kpop. I would gladly listen to hours and hours of random opinions of Kpop. I LOVE Kate!! Her Twitter is hilarious, she makes the same points I make when talking about Kpop. We pretty much have the same opinions and I feel like we’d be best friends in real life (maybe I’m reaching?) And Issac!! So refreshing to hear a guys point of view on all the Kpop. He’s not biased by the looks and points things out that I didn’t necessarily think of. Also I do get most of the sports analogies. That’s what happens when you’re married to someone who watches all the sports. Anyway, keep it up! I’m seriously in love with this! Cannot say enough good things about it!

I’m kind of shocked I just found this pod- I’ve been listening to Bachelor Party and Rewatchables for a while and can’t believe this has been out there and I didn’t know about it. Oh but wait I CAN believe it bc I spent all of January and February binge listening to back episodes of Jam Session, Tea Time and 4RealSeez. Jam session is my absolute jam
Love jam session episodes. Y’all keep me super informed and entertained. But I have a comment about your royal content- one of the hosts keeps mentioning Zara and Peter as the best examples of who H&M should emulate but I recently discovered they both live on Princess Anne’s estate! How is that for financial independence?! Also they absolutely trade on their royal connection no equestrian of Zara’s caliber would be getting the endorsements she is without that connection. Her endorsements are mostly in Australia and New Zealand and in each interview she’s asked a question about Harry, William or the Queen.

You gave me K-pop!
Isaac spoke and we listened! I have Kate and Isaac to thank for FINALLY introducing me to the intoxicating world of K-pop, and I want more K-pop content! Be our guides! The most recent episode about BTS was so good, and a perfect primer for someone who needed a little help understanding the meaning behind the album, the personas of the individual members, etc. I spent the next five hours deep diving into the endless YouTube sea of BTS love I also love all the Ringer Dish content, with Tea Time being the consistent fave. The hosts are so funny and have the best takes on pop culture. I recommend this podcast all the time!

Love Tea Time and the K-pop episodes
Tea Time is my favorite of the Ringer Dish offerings (I feel like the hosts are talking to me like a friend), but I also love the K-pop content lately. Kate and Isaac make it fun to learn about K-pop; I hope you keep making these episodes!

Thanks for covering k-pop
I really like the k-pop episodes. I just got into k-pop a year ago and it’s been a pretty solitary experience since none of my friends are into it. I love Kate’s enthusiasm, learning more about k-pop history and fandom, and hearing different perspectives.

Fun - but Monsta X is proceeding with only 5 members currently
First time listener for the EXO Chen episode, and I found it very enjoyable! Kate and Isaac's voices are great podcast voices and I appreciated Kim Hyun-su's perspective a lot. However! Monsta X is currently proceeding with 5 members, not 6, because Jooheon is pausing a minute to deal with mental health issues/anxiety. No word yet on if he's planning to join the tour later this year. And "Middle of the Night" is so radio-friendly! Commercial success in the US for MX! I will support it with my hard-earned income! \o/ And I will subscribe to a kpop-focused Ringer podcast. Ahem.

I love Kate and Issac talking Kpop! I’m a 43 yo dad and I’m so thankful that my son introduced me. For me, the kpop industry is head and shoulders above western pop music. More episodes like this! And MORE TWICE!!! They’re KPOPs biggest girl group EVER!!

Love Jam Session, not the Tea
Juliet is everything. Love everything she touches and would listen to her talk about whatever. She is very professional and also a talented podcaster. I’ve tried week over week to get into Tea Time but (and I apologize in advance for being so blunt) they sound uninformed and it is frustrating to listen to because of this. There is a lack of experience and maybe self-awareness. The last straw for me was when one of the girls completely butchered the word compensatory and nobody else said a word. I just sat there thinking surely somebody would catch it. Is anybody editing Tea Time?

Wow
These white women are racist. Their coverage of Meghan Markel is so racist and they seem to have no understanding of the royal family history with racism all over the world. Also, you want her be apart/respect a family that did not defend/protect her when a whole country was targeting her. Wow. White women never seem to amaze us.

Look forward to you every week!
You make tea time girls me feel old sometimes, but I found you via my longtime love of Juliet Litman, so at least I have her and Amanda to be in my thirties with. Never miss tea time, never miss jam session, listen to the other stuff often enough when it just continues playing after either of the other two pods have ended. Keep up the Royal Coverage, Amanda blows my mind thinking the monarchy's gonna end in our lifetime, and don't hesitate to cover the Bachelor franchise on everything, I can't get enough Bachelor Party and the off-season activity is at an all time high right now. Happy one year anniversary Tea Time 🎉 ps have never noticed y'all being political I was just reading some of your other reviews & aren't quite sure what they're talking about 🙄. all this to say please don't take that personally & edit yourselves!!!

Love Jam Session the Most
Always love listening to Juliet and Amanda’s commentary on pop culture, celebs, and the royals. I feel like they get me and I am totally in on their conversation. Tea Time is fun too, skews slightly younger and stays really light. My only criticism: Jam Session PLEASE add your book recs to the episode descriptions or post somewhere on social! I think you have great taste and have enjoyed some of your recs in the past but I’m always pausing, rewinding trying to write titles down.

Tea Time is perfect
Liz Kelly and Tea Time are perfect. A very fun blast of energy. Jam Session is fine but the topics (yachts and royals) tend to be boring. The Monday grab bag pods are pretty inessential. Andrew Gruttataro seems like a nice guy but should not be allowed near a microphone.

Protect Juliet at all costs but “eh” to everyone else
I was a huge grantland listener so of course I was excited for Jam Session to listen to Juliet again. But her dynamic with Amanda has been weird in the last few months and the pod hasn’t been as enjoyable because of that. It’s come to the point where I would rather listen to Juliet talk to the other staffers in the Ringer pop dives or whatever they’re called. I also cringe that there’s a pod called tea time with no representation from the communities that made “spilling tea” a thing.... more POC representation/diversity is needed on the feed tbh.

Boring
This podcast has become boring. And Amanda needs to turn down the volume. Also, don’t criticize her on Twitter for it or she will block you. You’re doing a pop culture podcast, don’t be so sensitive. Yes, she is entitled to block and she is a snowflake for doing it. Both those things can be true. I had to unsubscribe from The Big Picture because it is too hard to listen, and I loved the co tent on that podcast.

Skip the politics please!
I don’t think there’s one podcast on The Ringer that doesn’t exude political correctness. The Ringer offices could really use some diversity. Even on Jam Session, they argue that politics should outweigh family and that Jared Kushner should not go to his brother’s wedding party because he’s in the Trump Administration. These people should really get a life.

YMMV
Jam Session is great. Tea Time is ok for what it is (20-something girls squealing a lot without a lot of depth in commentary) but Girls in Hoodies did it better (RIP.) The Monday show is not good at all. The two hosts seem to lack any connection with each other and neither has much charisma.

Ringer Dish is a long time coming. “Tea Time” is high-key must-listen for me since it premiered last year! “Jam Session” Yacht Szn reports are indispensable. Favorite pod (feel like talking to friends about pop culture!)
So glad Jam Session is coming out weekly now! This pod feels like you’re listening to your friends laugh, chat, make fun of, and admire celebs, royals, architecture, interior design, yacht season, and the most random topics you could think of. Even when I disagree with one of their takes, it legitimately feels like it’s just your friends gossiping, as opposed to self serious people pretending to be the authority on pop culture like in other (non-Ringer) podcasts. This podcast is the opposite of a chore to listen on your playlist - it’s light, fun, and makes time go by super fast!
