Helpful Guide
Charlotte lays out a helpful guide and plan to stick with and more importantly to get started by! I had a few basics I knew to do but I really took Charlotte’s early episodes to heart and printed out a list of things to do and it really made my operation more professional and legitimate. I appreciate the advice from this podcast!

No 25 Step Checklist
I think honesty is key here. The link for a free checklist exists but it isn’t exactly as advertised. The information in the first 5 episodes is helpful but just because a document has check marks added doesn’t make it an effective checklist. Also, there aren’t even 25 check marks…Don’t be dishonest, deliver what you set expectations for our don’t set the expectations. This is exactly how course creators should lose credibility so I hope the following episodes are valuable.

Uses as a platform to promote her business
This podcast started out offering a wealth of usable content and advice for farmers. In the beginning, it was evident that Charlotte genuinely wanted to help farmers and offered tips, advice and mindset shifts that would improve the outlook of your goals and business. Over time it has shifted as a podium to sell her coaching services. The last several months of this podcast have been a chore to listen to because of the constant plugging of her coaching business. I’m so disappointed because the value is no longer there. Highly recommend tuning into the beginning of the podcast though!

It’s what I’ve been looking for
Charlotte you are exactly what I’ve been looking for! I received your book just this past weekend from the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund. We signed up because of a neighbor problem we were having. Anyways, we have been struggling with finding our perfect customer. I immediately looked up your podcast when I received your book. We were feeling defeated and overwhelmed with meat building up in our freezer. I swear receiving your book in the mail was God saying, “see there is a reason for everything!” I can’t wait to check out more of your information. Thank you!!!!!

Where have you been all my farm life?!
Thank you FTCLDF for steering me towards Charolette and her mindset podcast’s! Her ideas just resonate with me and the kind of farm business I want to run. I believe farmers should be profitable and not working 18+ hours days too, that’s just not sustainable.

From hobby to profitability
My husband and I started a small chicken farm selling our fresh pastured eggs a little over a year ago. But it wasn’t until we found this podcast, less than a month ago, that our business became what we dreamed it to be. Sold out of eggs as soon as they are laid! Both of our mindsets have completely shifted and the podcast is the main reason for this! I’m positive that without Charlotte’s help, we would never have grown our business this quickly and with this much success. Thank you Charlotte for your invaluable information💕🐓🥚

You'll be better for listening
Charlotte has a LOT to share, but if I had to boil it down to one phrase, it'd be, "make it about them." That's what I carry around in my brain from Charlotte. Once we get our eyes off ourselves, it makes marketing easier, friendships are better, and even your marriage. I love Charlotte's ACTIVE teaching style. This is not some passive podcase where you get to listen and then go away. Nope. You will come away with a link to click, a page to print, a new way to think, a person to go talk to, some kind of assignment that will help cement that current teaching into your head. Are you serious about wanting your farm to improve? You need to listen to Profitable Mindset with Charlotte Smith.

Great insights
I really love your insights and the podcasts. One of the things I really like about your podcast is that your experiences are yours and the insights you have for your area. I do however think that people need to realize it’s a process and they may not be able to farm full time right away. Look at Greg Judy who had to work a town job before he was able to go full time.

Breathe.....
We have been working full time off-the-Farm jobs, parenting and running a farm with beef, dairy, turkeys, laying hens, meat birds and bees. I am EXHAUSTED!!! This podcast has opened my eyes that we are working harder but not smarter. Charlotte has had me take a breath, step back and evaluate our farm as a BUSINESS. Yes farming is a passion and a lifestyle, but if you are running so fast that your margins are an after thought, you are doing it wrong! Thank you thank you thank you for giving me a different perspective and showing us how to run the farm as a profitable business and not die from exhaustion. It is still a work in progress, but I am starting to feel like I am running the farm instead of the farm running me. THANK YOU CHARLOTTE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The BEST info for growing profitable farms
I mentor ecological farmers and consultants to grow their business, and also met Charlotte and her husband at the 2016 Holistic Mgmt International conference in California, where she gave a phenomenally practical talk on farm marketing, and selling healthy farm products at their true value to people who are ecstatic to have found your farm. Thank you Charlotte and team for the deeply transformational work you're offering to the farming community. #6- Value!
What a great podcast today. I literally just read an old old sales blog about something very similar. Your podcast was like the heavens telling me to refocus! I work on a tiny grass fed grass finished beef farm that also produces pasture raised chickens and eggs. I can’t tell you the frustration (actually I suppose I can, lol) trying to explain costs. And the competition with terrible grocery store foods. I wish more people would ask questions and share their stories so we could get to their “value”. Perhaps you could share in another podcast about how to get them to ask questions and tell their stories so that we can get to their core? Thanks, and keep the information coming, we have got to band together to help save our farms and our fellow man from commoditized food production!

Perfect podcast
We’ve been producing and direct marketing pasture raised provisions since 2012, so we can say with confidence that Charlotte’s information is gold. She is a very effective communicator and has a talent for taking seemingly complex marketing and business hurdles and breaking them down into appropriate actionable steps. We found ourselves nodding along as we listened to all five episodes, agreeing with her advice based on our own experiences. We also found ourselves taking notes as we learned about new resources and techniques that we hadn’t previously tried. Streamlined Advice for Farm Success: Plug and Play
I know how hard farmers work. I also know how important farmers are to our communities for so many reasons: envirnomental, nutritional, economical and social. But often, farmers don't know about or don't feel they have time to employ marketing techniques to identify their target markets and products which, as Charlotte explains, can ultimately be the difference between success and failure. I hope every farmer takes the short few min driving to and from town or whatever they're doing, to listen to her valuable tips for success! apart from solid practical advice, her enthusiasm is motivational and inspiring to try new things. Definitely recommend!

Charlotte is the real deal.
I've heard Charlotte speak in person, have her book Farm Marketing from the Heart, and have loosely followed her over the past couple of years. Given all of this, I thought there wasn't much more I could gain from her via a podcast. So wrong! From the first couple of minutes, I was hooked. She is so articulate and more importantly, she gives us the goods! Her life-saving free apps, details on how to calculate profitability, not just the vague notion that one should do it, and so many more concrete tips. She so generously gives us the nuts and bolts to translate into our own enterprises, not just feel-good self-help ideas and concepts. Four years into our own enterprise, I couldn't be coming across this podcast at a better time!

Treat your farm like a business!
I love Charlotte and have been following her since I began my farming journey three years ago. I got side tracked many times in the last three years and every single time when I sat down and thought, “why is this not working?” I would return to Charlotte’s teachings and figure it out. I would say that in the modern farming world, Charlotte is one of the more practical minds. She doesn’t often encourage you to get into a boat load of debt to buy the newest and coolest equipment, but instead, advises you to sell your products at a price that is sustainable and actually makes a profit. Now that she has a podcast I can listen to her advice while out in the field!

My husband and I are in year 2 of farming and Charlotte Smith is one of those ‘friends from afar’ that has kept us from plunging into the horrible statistics of farm failure. I’ve read lots of business set up books and exposed to lots of profitable business tools, and Charlotte is my absolute favorite. Not only is her presentation style fun and engaging, it’s professional, understandable, and well organized. We listened to the first four episodes on a road trip to take a class on Natural Beekeeping and I’m not sure what we talked about more - the Beekeeping class or the steps in Charlotte’s podcast!! The way forward for farmers
I first heard of Charlotte Smith when I received her book for joining the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund. Since then I have benefited enormously from her advice. I heard Charlotte speak at a grazing conference this past winter on several marketing topics (break out presentation and several workshops). She has great information on relationship marketing for farmers. I have a degree in marketing and working in that space for some time. I found her content to be very valuable. Her presentations were great and she has a number of free resources on her website. I’ve implemented a number of her suggestions into my farm marketing, but am still working on it (aren’t we all). I’m excited that she now has a podcast so I can continue to learn from her. These first few episodes are targeted to new farmers, but it was still worth a listen. Looking forward to future episodes!

- #159: The World's Most Famous Farmer is on the Podcast TodayClick Here to Purchase the Video Training of the Marketing School Joel and I Teach You know if Joel’s in the house, you’re in for a story or two. Or three ;) One of the most delightful experiences of my farm life was when Joel stayed here at my place for the weekend a few years ago. He did this two years in a row. During the day, we taught marketing in person, here on my farm, to about 50 farmers. I was astonished to notice while I was on stage teaching Joel was furiously note-taking the whole time. I didn’t expect that. A part of me thought that when you get to Joel’s age, you don’t have to take notes anymore. He’s been around the world many times, he’s seen everything in the farming world. Heck, he taught more people how to farm than anyone. So to see him absorb every word I said is reflective of the self-proclaimed lifelong learner he is. Since then, we’ve teamed up to teach Stockman Grass Farmer’s Marketing School. Listen to our episode today. Hear the stories and the mutual admiration. Watch our interview. You’ll learn, too. Then, buy our marketing class. It’s the best $297 you’ll spend. 100% of the proceeds go the the Stockman Grass Farmer, a huge resource for farmers. Come see us live again, in person, in October. Don’t choose one or the other - video or live. Do both. We’re a lot of fun on stage. He’s a storyteller, and has 60 years of farming expertise to share. My expertise is how to make money using modern marketing methods. Our combined talents are lethal and have farmers having success like never before. Listen HERE. - #158: How to Turn Your Overwhelm into Freedom on the FarmGet on the Waitlist for Free Marketing Coaching in May HERE Farmers often share with me that you started a farm to have the freedom to do what you want when you want. You wanted to make your own schedule, so you can have more time doing what you love. You think you can spend more time with your family because you’re not going to a day job. Ironically, what often happens is you end up with zero freedom. You’re working long days or early morning late nights before/after your day job. You’re locked into another job to pump money into your farm But you can’t figure out how to get off this hamster wheel. It seems like harder work should get you out of this pickle. Because that’s what worked to get your farm started. But what worked to start your farm is not what works to get it profitable. There’s a set of skills you’ll have to learn in order to create time in your farm biz to be the CEO instead of the constant laborer When you do this, you’re now shifting into the role of leader on your farm. Then, you’ll lead your farm to profit. Today on the Profitable Mindset Podcast, I share with you the #1 thing I teach my clients that gives them the skills required to create freedom every single day. Then you can regain that elusive feeling of freedom you wanted when you started your farm. Click HERE to Turn Overwhelm into Freedom Charlotte0 comments0
- Profitable Mindset Mar 9 · 22m #157: Two Crucial Steps to Become the CEO of Your FarmGet on the Waitlist for Free Marketing Coaching in May HERE There’s something I teach that no one else in the farming world is teaching. And I teach it because it works - my clients, farmers, everyone, make money and have calm lives. They don’t just make money - they make more money than they’ve ever made. As in, they sell 30 cows in 1 week when it used to take them all year. That’s $100,000 in sales. They sell 24 lambs in 24 hours with one email. Again, used to take them all year. Click HERE to Find Out How in Episode 157 I could go on and on with the success they’re creating because they’re learning through coaching to become the CEO of their farms. There’s no program getting these types of results anywhere else in the industry. If you want to feel personally fulfilled and make money on your farm finally, you’ll need to create a plan to implement what I’m talking about today. Farmers making money have learned through coaching to take unrelenting ownership of everything in their business and in their lives. They’re learning to take full responsibility for every result in their business. This extreme ownership of your results requires you to become a strong, resilient person. How do you become strong and resilient? Only through adversity. ONLY through doing hard things. And - it’s work worth doing. It can feel TERRIBLE when you first realize that you’ve created every result in your life, even the ones you don’t like. When you first learn to stop blaming everything else for all the problems, often your immediate reaction is to beat yourself up. After all, if YOU’RE the one responsible for the failed sales and employees not working out… then you have no choice but to beat yourself up, right?? No, you can totally learn to NOT beat yourself up. Through coaching in the 5X Program, you’ll learn to take extreme ownership of all your results and be excited about that realization. I teach you how to own the results you’ve created, how to not beat yourself up for doing that and not knowing, and then how to create results you love. This is why today's episode is especially a mandatory listen. You’ve Gotta Learn to Become the CEO in Your Farm Biz. Today I share with you how. See you in Episode 157 of the Profitable Mindset Podcast. Charlotte0 comments0
- #156: This is The #1 Mindset Stopping Farmers From Making MoneyGet on the Waitlist for Free Coaching in May HERE The farmers I coach are learning their mindset is what determines whether they make money or not. They learn when they expect success - it drives success away. We regularly coach on this in our group coaching sessions. Listen to the episode to hear how you're doing that. Here’s the path farmers take in the 5X Program: They show up not making enough money, or enough profit, or enough sales. They implement the coaching we offer. They shift their mindset. They have success. It IS that simple. I know at first you might be skeptical… …thinking - “it can’t be that simple!!” Our brains want to make us believe the process is very complicated. We have the perfect justification - “it’s hard to make money on a farm.” If we believe the process is complicated, then no wonder it’s hard for us to get profitable. “Our farms would not be losing so much money if it’s simple.” we think. But it truly is simple. Now, it’s not easy, but only because shifting the thoughts in your brain is hard. But it’s hard work worth doing. And the farmers in 5X love how coaching supports them in doing this hard, but simple work. There’s something you’re telling yourself that’s preventing you from making money. And I know what it is, because it’s a mindset every farmer first comes to me with. Tune in to today's episode of the Profitable Mindset Podcast. If you think you’d get profitable sooner than you are, or if you think things should be happening faster, or your website or marketing should be working better - Tune in and hear how that expectation of success harms you. - #155: Other People’s Wants & Ideas Are NOT Your To-Do ListGet on the Waitlist for Free Coaching in May HERE As farmers, we move fast and get a lot done. We deliver a calf, puppies, and babies - in the middle of the night. Then get up and milk cows before anyone else wakes up. Get ‘em all breakfast and off to school or work, AND THEN go deal with customers, fix a fence, weed a bed. We pound out a constantly evolving to-do list. People look at us as if we’re super-woman. And on a good day, we feel like superwoman! But at some point, this catches up with us and we know something’s gotta give. If hard work pays off, we’re wondering why that’s not working out for us. We wonder, why am I overworking and still not making what I should? One of the problems - and the solution - is in today’s Profitable Mindset Podcast episode 155. Click the link above to Learn the Solution to overworking/underearning You may be unknowingly doing this. Today’s episode will help you become aware of this bad habit that will lead to overwhelm - and help you turn it around. So you can get more of what’s important to you and your farm completed. Without the overwhelm. Without overworking. Charlotte0 comments0
- #154: My Most Successful Farmers Have Started Doing ThisBuilding a profitable farm means constantly growing yourself and your skills. And I don’t mean growing your cow-milking skills. Or your floral design skills. Click HERE to Learn What My Most Successful Farmers Now Do You see, your farm biz’ growth will never outpace your personal growth. And most people’s personal growth reaches its limit in year one of building their farm. But most farmers don’t realize this. They get stuck after a year or two, or five, not yet making the profit they expected, working way too many hours, but thinking it’s that they have the wrong website. Or their farm’s just not in the best location. Or that people around them don’t appreciate their products. You can’t work your way out of doing the personal growth work a profitable farm business requires of you. Yes, in a way, your farm business is in charge here - it needs YOU to step it up and dive in and learn how to be a leader - and lead it to profit. And you won’t do that unless you dive into personal growth - step one is on the podcast today - allowing feelings. Whaaa???? I know - many of you are wondering right now what feelings have to do with farming. But when you learn what that is and how to do it - your farm business will blossom. This IS the first step in growing yourself so your farm will grow - but it’s where many of us get stuck. Men and women both Click Here to Listen and Get Unstuck You see, most of us were raised in an environment that taught us to suppress our feelings, override our feelings, not trust our feelings. But the problem is - feelings drive actions…. And your actions will create your profitable business. This week on the Profitable Mindset Podcast, I’m teaching you about the most valuable mindset shift you can learn to make. Today, I explain what it is in a way you can understand it - Tune in to hear how to take this first step. THEN - if you’re in the 5x program - get coached on it this week!! Let’s get you profitable. - #152: The Tools These Farmers Are Using to Build Profitable Farms and Fulfilling LivesClick Here to Start 5X'ing Your Farm Sales AND Your Life This week you saw me offer feedback on several farm websites that I know from experience, when you implement the coaching I offered, will be the start of you 5X'ing your farm sales. That's just one coaching session. We do this EVERY week inside the coaching program. The farmers I'm giving feedback to each week are selling out in ONE email what used to take them months. They're selling more in ONE WEEK than they used to sell the whole season. They're raising their prices to make a 40%+ profit finally. Join Now and Begin 5X'ing Your Farm Sales AND Your Life All because they're committing to doing the work of working on their mindset and their marketing for one year. Not only are they making more money, they experience this: No longer feeling burned out Working reasonable hours Setting firm boundaries Making daily time for themselves Feeling present with their family every day You've got to know, though, 5X'ing your farm sales is not all about the money. It never is. Yes, money solves a lot of immediate problems. We solve those for sure! But then, 5X'ing their farm sales becomes about so much more. Paid off mortgages. Husbands and wives able to quit day-jobs and be home full-time on the farm. Healed marriages. Healed relationships with parents and in-laws and kids. No more juggling bills each month because there's always enough in the bank. Finally taking a family getaway during the busiest months of summer... with NO guilt. And more. INFINITELY more. The average person will 5X their sales. Some less, some more, depending on how committed you are to the coaching. And then you find - The more profit your farm makes, the more you are able to do for your community, your family, and yourself. It’s the difference between being stuck at the computer trying to make the numbers work and being able to hire and help a bookkeeper make a living so you can improve the soil. It’s about working hard and seeing your customers have better health and better lives because of your farm products. It’s about having time for yourself again and having more time with your family, instead of constantly working and worrying about being able to pay the bills. And I know you’re no stranger to hard work, so if you’re willing to put in the effort to make these outcomes happen for you, sign up for my program, 5x Your Farm Sales Coaching Program for Farmers. - Profitable Mindset Feb 2 · 7m #151: Farm Marketing Week Starts TOMORROW - free marketing coachingClick HERE to sign up for Farm Marketing Week, Free Marketing Coaching Farm Marketing Week is where I go live with farmers all across the country on Zoom, and offer expertise that will improve your marketing drastically. Each time I offer strategic marketing feedback on these calls, farmers email me afterward sharing success: "Sold 80% of my wreaths with ONE email after you rewrote it" rewriting her email as I taught and a day later sold 2 hogs with that email, previously not getting anyone to buy from her emails. This new farmer added the missing key to her website and created 12 signups to her email list which was previously at zero (everyone starts at zero, you just don't want to get stuck there) Several farmers DOUBLED their email signups within weeks of making the website edits "Selling one beef per month consistently since rewriting my newsletter as you explained how" This WILL be you if you implement even half of what I teach during Farm Marketing Week. Sign Up HERE. My clients learn that people will buy ANYTHING they offer for sale on their farms. They experience this because they are learning how to craft expert marketing that creates sales. They learn how to sell people on their products in a non-icky, non-salesy, way and find that people love giving them money. And these customers don’t complain about the prices their farmers, my clients, have to charge. The farmers I work with learn how to write in way that connects and creates desire for their products. And marketing becomes a much simpler process that you complete with ease. Use the link above to sign up and I'll see you inside0 comments0
- #150: How This Lavender Farmer Learned to Stop the Fear, Guilt, & Overwhelm and Start Making Money & Love LifeClick HERE to sign up for Farm Marketing Week Feb. 3, 6, & 7 – FREE Marketing Coaching Farming is a beast, you've heard me say. And you absolutely must learn the skills to tame that beast if you want to be farming long-term (and if you want to be happily married long-term!) If you don't learn the skills, the price you pay personally, emotionally, and financially is just too high. My client, Kathleen, is on the podcast today sharing how she struggled so much her first year of farming. She'd be taken over by fear of failure, guilt of spending so much money to get started. Shame and overwhelm were regular visitors. And her biggest 'target' when she struggled was her husband - she blamed him for everything that was going wrong in her world. She thought he didn't support her, didn't want to invest in her. You can imagine how that went over in her marriage. But then she met me at the lavender conference where I was the keynote speaker and she knew coaching would help her. Soon after starting coaching in my program, she began learning and implementing tools to stop blaming her husband and stop getting angry at him. And she says it's been mind-blowing how everything shifted in their relationship once she became aware of how she was blaming him for how she felt. Now, she has a supportive partner. Not because he changed, but because SHE did. She learned how to invest in her farm without guilt. If overwhelm creeps up, she knows how to get out from under it swiftly. Her confidence grew when she dove into the confidence-building exercises. This confidence shows up in her marketing, and her sales are growing steadily. These are all skills we're not taught anywhere else in life. And you'll need to plan on learning these skills if you plan on farming. Most farmers give up because it just becomes "too hard" - meaning, the emotional toll is too great on themselves & their families. Kathleen is sharing today how she has reversed that emotional toll and her story will encourage you that you can do it as well. You can absolutely learn to love your life, love your farm, and make money with much more ease. Then, plan on joining Kathleen in 5x Your Farm Sales & Life in February. Your farm, your life, and every relationship you have will improve drastically. Enjoy! Charlotte0 comments0

Tune in and Learn How Laura Reaches Her Goals It wasn't always that way for her. Before coaching, Laura was familiar with other people making her angry. She didn't have consistent free time, let alone the 2 hours a day she has now. She was not making a profit on her farm and yet was not raising her prices. Then she met me in 2019 when I was speaking at a farm conference in Vermont. We connected and she knew I had things to share that would help her. In our interview, she told me, "everything I want in life is showing up at my door. I'm finally making a profit." - #148: How This Farmer Went From Wanting to Sell the Farm, Feeling Like a Failure, to Now Feeling Strong, Joyful and ConnectedClick HERE to sign up for Farm Marketing Week Feb. 3, 6, & 7 Today you'll meet my client, Lara Scanlan, who has a diversified farm here in the Northwest. When she first showed up for coaching, she was trying to raise all her own food AND sell to her community, and frankly, she thought something was wrong with her that she just couldn't do it all. She felt terrible and like she was a "bad" farmer, a failure that she was working very long days keeping the farm going but NOT making enough money to pay the bills. It negatively impacted her marriage and her son's life. They were thinking they had to sell the farm for things to improve. She "stumbled" into my coaching program, signed up as a last resort, and within 5 weeks has had so many profound shifts. Now, the work is still hard, of course, but she has hope and confidence that she has all the resources through the coaching and marketing and time management programs to create a balanced and financially profitable life. Today, she's sharing her struggle to fulfill her life-long dream of farming but also the harsh reality that she's got to learn how to make it profitable in order to stick with it long term. And how coaching helped her make huge shifts just in the first weeks that will help her calm down, gain some balance, and stop trying to prove her worth. Tune in to hear her profound shifts that moved her from questioning whether she should even be a farmer, contemplate selling the farm, and then move to accepting reality - and the awareness she CAN create the farm life she dreams of. Click the link above to meet Lara and hear how she went from hopeless to confident. Charlotte0 comments0
- #147: This is Your 2023 Business Marketing PlanClick HERE to sign up for Farm Marketing Week Feb. 3, 6, & 7 If I could help you get anything you want on your farm, what would that be? MOST people say time and money... not necessarily in that order. What most farmers usually DON'T tell me is they need more fulfillment. But too many farmers contact me for help because they've figured out how to make money in their business... ...but their farm also sucked all of the joy out of them. And they come to me to announce everything's for sale, they're shutting down, they just don't enjoy what they've built so it's not worth the hard work required. They realized they figured out how to make money - but the business wasn't sustainable over the long run. Your farm can't be fulfilling when it's bleeding the very life out of you. In Episode 147 of the Profitable Mindset Podcast, I show you how to build a farm business that you enjoy working in. Now THAT is sustainable! Answer the questions in the episode and by the end your mind will be blown by the clarity you'll start to see and feel. The first question will guide you through some data that is really crucial to know - and easy to find. I tell you exactly where to find this data that you'll need to make to make informed decisions, so you can stop guessing or hoping. The next couple of questions will tell you exactly what you need to focus on for 2023 and what your projected income is AND what to focus on to get there. You'll have a roadmap for what to say yes to and what to say no to with great confidence. Combine these answers with episode 146, part 1, and you'll be armed with everything you need to make 2023 your most successful year yet - financially AND for the highest quality of life. It's really crucial that you not only build a profitable farm, but also that you build a farm that you feel fulfilled running and owning. It's not sustainable to build a farm that makes money but you're not enjoying getting up and going to work every day. It takes conscientious intentional effort to build a business you LOVE and it makes money. And THIS podcast episode is the roadmap to making that happen.0 comments0

- #143: How To Raise Your Prices When You Feel You're Already Charging a PremiumClick HERE to Be Notified When 5X Your Farm Sales Opens in February Many farmers feel like their prices are already higher than the grocery store, or the highest in the area, so they think they can't possibly raise them any higher. But they're still not making a sustainable profit. They (you?) often feel guilty even thinking about increasing them to be able to afford to hire help or lift some of the financial burden you feel. Now you're not making enough money to hire enough help, so you're overworking, often exhausted, and feeling overwhelmed. Next, you often start adding other products, services or sales outlets which means even MORE overwhelm and overworking, but even LESS money. This is the hamster wheel farmers often find themselves trying to get off of. So what do you do when your prices aren't working for you but you think you can't raise them? You've got to go to the root of the problem - that's what I outline in today's episode of the Profitable Mindset Podcast. I promise you, it's not that you're already the highest price in the area. It's not that you feel guilty charging more. It's not that you just haven't found the right combo of products/bundles/customers. The solution is inside Episode 143. Let's get you raising your prices with ease. Warmly, Charlotte0 comments0

But. What if those emotions are the currency you pay for having a successful business? In my experience and my training, they are the price you pay. But they still feel bad. No worries, though, I got you. Today's episode will teach you very simply what is the antidote to the terrible feelings that come up on the road to success. - #137: How to Use Social Media To Build A Loyal Customer BaseSign Up to Be Notified of "Farmers Coaching Farmers" Coach Training Program I was in Jackson, Mississippi last week teaching marketing, and I got more questions about "the beast" that is social media marketing than anything else. Using social media to build your business can be super deceiving - you see this platform online, whether it's Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tik Tok, or wherever you're looking... and there are millions and millions of people right in front of your eyes. And you KNOW a percentage of them would love your products. But how in the world do you turn those 'free' people, just sitting there scrolling on by your photos, into paying customers? Click the link above to hear how. I just got an email yesterday from a frustrated farmer who said even though her Facebook page likes are growing and growing, the number of people seeing her posts is declining. The short answer is that FB and Instagram are designed for that. But there are plenty of work-arounds I talk about in today's episode. Tune in and learn how to think about social media in a way that serves you, and then how to turn those people into loyal customers. See you in episode 137 of the Profitable Mindset Podcast. I'll be sharing reels and stories on Instagram - Click HERE to follow me there throughout the 2 days. This is my ONLY in-person training this year, after a couple years of COVID - hope to get back to it in '23. Today I've got an episode that will help those of you struggling to get to profit on your farms. Last week I had 675+ farmers join me in Farm Marketing Week and I coached on this mistake over and over, so I know today's episode will help you. The challenge with overcoming this mistake is that it seems contrary to logic. But that's the struggle we have to overcome - it's tempting to see what everyone else is doing to market their farms and copy the same techniques. But those techniques aren't working for them, either. So then you get frustrated that it's not working for you and you try even more strategies and techniques, spreading yourself even thinner. Today will guide you through how and what to constrain and focus on to get to making more profit in your farm business. And, a beautiful side-benefit, your life will calm down tremendously. - #135: Seven Tools I Created That Will Get You Into the Top 1% of Successful FarmersClick HERE To Get The 7 Tools - My 5X Your Farm Sales Program This week you saw me offer feedback on several farm websites that I know from experience, when you implement the coaching I offered, will be the start of you 5X'ing your farm sales. - #134: Farm Marketing Week Starts TOMORROW - free marketing coaching.Click HERE to sign up for Farm Marketing Week – Free Coaching Farm Marketing Week is where I go live with farmers all across the country on Zoom and you can submit one piece of marketing for my feedback. Each time I offer strategic marketing feedback on these calls, farmers are emailing me afterward sharing success: "Sold 80% of my wreaths with ONE email after you rewrote it" rewriting her email as I taught and a day later sold 2 hogs with that email, previously not getting anyone to buy from her emails. Use the link above to sign up and I'll see you inside!0 comments0
