Love these ladies.
As someone who works in the fashion industry, I always look forward to tuning in to the latest episode of Pop Fashion. The girls are lighthearted, funny, and cover a wide variety of topics across the fashion, apparel, and consumer goods industries. It kind of feels like grabbing a drink with a couple of old buddies in the same industry, and gossiping about current events. I can always count on Lisa and Kaarin for an interesting opinion and the weekly chuckle. Also, fashion crime is my favorite subject!

Is it Thursday yet?
The absolute best podcast to get informed about current (fashion related) events. Hearing K & L talk is one of highlights of my week. They’re two quaint and intelligent ladies sharing their observations. Did I mention they have a sixth sense for fashion forecasting.

The absolute best
Longtime listener, third time reviewer (I accidentally tapped four stars, then tapped the five stars but didn’t write a review, and now here we are 🤦🏼♀️). Kaarin and Lisa know their ish. They have so much experience and knowledge about the inner workings of the fashion industry, and they make me feel smart when I’m talking to my fashion friends. Speaking of friends, I basically feel like I’m in a one-sided conversation with my friends when I’m listening, because their podcasting style is so easy to consume. This is by far my favorite podcast, and it’s the one I’m hitting refresh for every Thursday 🙌🏼 Love Love love my PopFashion!

Keeps me current with the industry
I am a college professor in a fashion marketing and design program. I listen to this podcast every week. It is incredibly useful in helping me stay current with the industry. I utilize a lot of the topics discussed to keep my students abreast on recent industry-related topics as well. This is a tremendous resource for me.

Every week I love it more
I love this podcast. Good insights for fashion people, good insight into the fashion world for us wannabe fashion people. Fashion crime IS my favorite subject. Over the years the audio on this podcast has gone from very good to EXCELLENT, so it is worth a binge listening session on a road trip. The hosts should be commended on their commitment to doing the dang thing every week. I love it when they dip their toes into the politics of fashion, because fashion is political.

FIVE MORE YEARS!
I genuinely thought that I had already written a review. My bestfriend Kyla and I always have a recap after listening to the show and the hosts feel like they are our best friends. They have helped my knowledge of Fashion grow so much. I own a small clothing store and it’s so hard to keep running a small business and keep up with fashion news! This is seriously so helpful. We also truly take into consideration what dumb dumbs have done in order to avoid it. This show is great for “people like us”.

My Favorite Fashion Podcast
This Podcast is seriously such a pick me up. Lisa and Kaarin are hilarious and entertaining as they educate you in what’s going on in fashion. I find myself quoting them often and singing the “Fashion Crime” song when appropriate Fashion news comes out. I can’t wait to hear their take on things. Whether you are new and just curious about fashion or more experienced this is a great pod for keeping up on fashion news and how it affects the rest of the world. Seriously it is more than just trends, fashion touches on politics, economics, art, civil rights, basically the greater cultural realm. Love them, check out this pod!

The smartest, loveliest ladies in fashion news
I never miss an episode of Pop Fashion. They comb the fashion news of the week so that I don’t have to, and not only do they report the news but they give their take in a very insightful way which I appreciate. I feel like a much smarter, more conscious consumer after having been a loyal listener for so long. I also love the listener letters they answer, I end up getting a ton of great advice about everything from what to wear when biking to work, to how to find the perfect designer handbag second-hand, to career advice. Highly recommend!!

Educational, Fascinating and Thoughtful
I'm working my way through every episode of this podcast that I possibly can. It is by far one of my all time favorites, if not my podcast soulmate. As someone who has always been interested in fashion and the more subtle indications it can represent within culture, this podcast is a dream. Lisa and Kaarin are ridiculously likable and thoughtful people who give fashion as an interest and an industry real credit, and showcase its substance and depth. Lisa always impresses me with her empathy and ability to see a piece of fashion news from the perspectives of every person involved and affected by it. Kaarin is seriously together and well spoken, she gives off a confidence that provides some high level life goals. These two are fashion and business oracles. Thank you ladies for your amazing work!

Humor + insight = I love this podcast
I love this podcast for the sheer breadth of information related to retail, style, and clothing (and even politics) that these two women cover every week. I feel more informed after every episode! You learn about corporate debt, trade agreements, company profits, brand insight, trend insight, fashion events, and more. Besides, it's FUN. Kaarin and Lisa are the right combination of goofy and serious and they are so very relatable. I also enjoy the career advice they sprinkle in every now and then. If you are remotely interested in business, clothing, or finances, it’s worth a listen!

continues to be informative and enjoyable
Really detailed and rounded, about the small things and the big things, in fashion, love it. Question -- can you guys explain what is the deal with all the deep cut armholes in sleeveless tops and dresses the past few years? I must take up the sholder seams or take them to the tailors, who say they have this request to alter the armholes a lot. If you don't alter, you have to coordinate your underwear with your clothes, or tolerate more side openess than is practical for most public wearing of clothing. Even wearing smaller sizes doesn't change the proportion. What gives? I hope it isn't the saving some pennies on fabric on each garment, therefore forcing the consumers to make their own time consuming and or expensive adjustments, or buy extra under wear to coordinate. I suspect this is the case, hope I'm wrong, but please enlighten because if it's not, it would be good to know. I read somewhere that high and tight armholes are the sign of bespoke and couture, and move with you in a way that makes tight clothing still able to perform with a lot of movement (Daniel Craig's suits as 007 for example, or other Italian high end fashion). Not asking for bespoke qaulity in a mid range, but this is new-ish, and it didn't used to be this way not so long ago. Looking forward to your take on this. Best, and keep going, I reccommend you to friends and on FB because you are so uniquely good.

Simply put, Pop Fashion is the best fashion. podcast. ever. As a seasoned and schooled (and some would even say, snobbish) podcast listener, only a well put together. informative, entertaining, relevant, and high-quaity podcast will keep my attention past the 30-second mark. Kaarin and Lisa are the perfect duo and their podcast is funny, spirited, yet informative. They play off each other so well, they're clearly knowledgeable about the retail and fashion industries but keep it lighthearted, hysterical, and a bit zany. These two have proven me wrong. At first I really couldn't stand their valley-girl tone and shrieks (sorry I have a slight hearing problem that makes it painful at times). Honest, caffeinated, informative, not just for fashion fans
I don't even really like fashion and I LOVE this podcast. Pop Fashion is a great balance: upbeat and quick-paced but also thoughtful and in-depth. I love the social justice angle, the personal connections Kaarin and Lisa make to their own experiences, the humor, and the obvious passion these women have for their topic. Kaarin asks great questions. Lisa makes you laugh. It's like overhearing the most amazing conversation at the table next to you at a cafe or bar and then becoming BFFs. Inclusive and Bright
Humble, informative and approachable, spreading widely over many topics as they relate to fashion. Lisa and Kaarin: Thank you for being so inclusive. I'm 20 years old and doing my best, but even still, I'm really insecure about the amount of money I make, what I can afford, and therefore, what I wear as it relates to my budget. But listening to this blog makes me feel like part of people who have an insight on an industry that can be viewed as exclusive. Luxury is what it is, but I enjoy hearing about brands, designers, retailers and of course, topics, that I see, buy and experience alongside those I aspire to finding in my life. I work very hard at the two minimum wage restaurant jobs I hold, and listening to this podcast while I walk home around 11pm improves my mood and gives me something to look forward to. Luke,

Not just for fashionistas!
What I love most about the Pop Fashion Podcast is that you don't have to be a fashionista to listen. Whether you are a creative type or a self-employed entrepreneur there is plenty for you to enjoy in the show! The format of the show is set up with a news segment at the beginning and the banter between Kaarin and Lisa is perfect, not too much off topic talking but just enough so that you get to know them and feel like they are your friends. The way that they introduce each news segment reminds me of the "what you missed in history class" podcast. It's fun and informational and even if you are not into fashion you will find yourself enjoying every word. The the main topic segment of the podcast is a perfect fit for entrepreneurs and creative types or anyone that freelances. They deal with topics such as self-doubt, working with clients, what it's like running your own business and more! I'm always happy every week when I see a new episode from Kaarin and Lisa pop into my phone! Keep up the great work ladies!!

Love!
I love your podcast. It's so much more than a fashion chat. You ladies are fun, chatty and smart. Listening to one of your shows is like having coffee with my friends when I can't actually have coffee with my friends. Thank you!

Clever, positive, and fun
Lisa and Kaarin are consistently entertaining in their podcast. Finally caught up with all of them, and I’m always excited for a new episode! My idea of “fashion” is buying something from last year’s J. Crew summer line at the Goodwill for $3, so I’m not exactly a fashionista, but this show is so relevant to my life and my business. I might be thinking about these issues, but don’t know how to articulate them or think “no one else has *this* problem.” We are not alone, small business owners! We are in this together! And now we have Lisa and Kaarin to help educate us about hot topics of the week and find a little virtual camaraderie. Five stars! Two thumbs up! Thank you for this delightful and educational podcast!

Intriguing Discussion
As a guy who loves his blue jeans and work boots I was really suspect of a podcast about fashion, but Kaarin and Lisa have some great discussions and great thoughts. They are much less focused on clothing and much more focused on an industry, social responsibility, and who we are as a society. Great work!

So much more than just fashion!
While the hot topics are entertaining and interesting, the best part of this podcast is their main topic -- whether it is success, our busy lives, or those pesky inner voices -- you'll come away from an episode thinking. I recommend you jump in now and catch up!

I don’t know fashion, but I know smart people.
When these ladies talk about fashion, I feel like I walk away smarter because even though I don’t know an A-Line from a Pencil (actually, I do, because of my wife), I can instantly relate. The ladies bring the thunder both with their knowledge of the subject, but also their insight, snark, and critique. If you’re down with the Catwalk, then you should be down with these ladies.
