Loving the podcast! So much fun, so much nostalgia! You guys have such cute chemistry! You guys keep me company on my drive to/from work. I laugh so hard and love hearing all the behind the scenes stories and gossip. And your guest stars are fire! Keep up the great work! A happy listener. And I rated a five cause I know that’s all Danielle allows! 😆 —Chelsea

A very comfortable podcast
I was a big fan of boy meets world growing up, tried to get into girl meets world but it never really hooked me. All good though, was happy to see my favorite characters back in action. I’m loving this behind the scenes podcast. Danielle, Rider and Will have great chemistry and have created a great podcast. It’s one of the best re-watch podcasts out there, for any show. I’m grateful to tune in every week and hear what it was like for them growing up making this show I love and bringing the characters I care about to life. I have a huge amount of respect for these three and appreciate listening them working through how fun and how difficult it could be. Thank you to the whole team that puts this together!

Wasn’t a fan
I couldn’t even get through one episode. Was excited for the Lance Bass interview but he barely was able to talk, it’s just Danielle talking about herself the entire time. Dynamic isn’t there. If she would let the others speak it could be better.

More Than Just Nostalgia
I am a consumer of rewatch podcasts and not all of them are good, but some are great. This one is excellent! The content is terrific—part nostalgia, part Hollywood inside baseball, and part therapy. The hosts have wonderful chemistry and the show moves along quite well. Not all actors are good podcast hosts, but these three are outstanding and aware of timing and pacing. Some podcast episodes are great debriefs of a BMW episode, while other ones are interviews with cast members, guest stars, or famous fans. The insider knowledge is super fun! I highly recommend you give it a listen as this is a model for what rewatch podcasts SHOULD BE. Thank you, Danielle, Will, and Ryder for keeping us entertained thirty years later.

From Boy Meets World to Girl Meets World, this franchise is EVERYTHING to me!!! This podcast is so nostalgic. The perfect combo of a rewatch and just friends talking about life. I really wish Ben was on this, but I understand. I do really hope for a cameo. All BMW/GMW fans - LISTEN TO THIS!!!!!!

Good and Bad
So I think Danielle’s obsession with the superficial aspects of the show is very boring. Who cares about the layers and the hair of every episode? Unless you got a theory as to why, it doesn’t help just pointing out things from the 90s. We get it. Rider and Will however, will contribute more by digging a little deeper into aspects of the show such as having theories why certain things happen on the show. Also Lapkus guest star is probably the worst episode so far and it was only because Danielle was friends with her. I’m guessing Danielle owns a big share of this podcast because at times it feels like “Danielle and friends Podcast”.

Love This
I still can’t even find the words to express how much I love this podcast. Keep it going, do your thing, please get through all 158 episodes at least (I’d be equally thrilled if you eventually also review the Girl Meets World episodes too) and keep going with those guest episodes in between. It’s such a wealth of intriguing and entertaining information and stories about the cast from my all time favorite television show.

So fun! The nostalgia is real!
It is so amazing to hear from my old friends. It is just what I need in these times with all the craziness going on in the world. I I just love re-watching the episodes and watching through the eyes of an adult, catching all the things I missed. I totally looked up to Ryder and Jim and was totally in love with Daniel growing up. Thank you for the show . You Guys are awesome.

Karen’s Need to Calm Down
This is my favorite podcast! I’m in my 30s, rewatching the show is completely different as a parent. I applaud the show for being such a great show for kids. I enjoyed it as a child but as an adult it’s so much better. It’s also cool to see little things like Will lip reading other peoples lines lol. Karen’s who are saying not to bring politics in it are for sure trumpers so they need to find somewhere else to complain. May I suggest wal mart? It’s great to have Danielle Ryder and Will bring up the politics and what they would have done different (they ARE directors) LAST THING-I LOVE THAT THEY ARE SPEAKING THEIR TRUTH!! If they didn’t have a great time making the show then it’s great that they can be HONEST about it and not hide it to make you Karen’s feel better.

Only 5 stars for you ✨
This podcast has brought me so much joy! I watched this in its rerun era in the early 2000s and have since gotten the box sets and rewatched on Disney+ a numerous amount of times. Such a comfort show. I wanted to BE Topanga! I also blame the love of Topanga and Cory the reason why I’m still single because the standards were set so high 😂 or it’s just me 🤷🏻♀️ either way love you alllllll!

One of the best rewatch podcasts
I have listened to SO many different rewatch podcasts, and this one is one of the best. You don’t even need to be a big BMW fan. It’s packed with insider stories and honest reactions. It’s one of the few where detours from the main topic are usually really interesting, versus a few friends catching up on something irrelevant to the audience. The only things I would change is: they say the names of the other actors and assume we know who they are talking about, would love to hear the character name too. Also as I get later into the episodes it seems like Will has an insecurity about choosing to not have children. This comes across as him consistently remarking on how terrible parenting appears to be, when no one is pressuring him or prompting him. I don’t have kids and most of my friends don’t, but we don’t consistently feel like we need to prove our choice is better. I hope Will can feel at peace and confident in himself. All 3 on this podcast add their own spice and great banter overall. Wonderful podcast.

Thank you for the nostalgia! So comforting!
I loved BMW and am enjoying the podcast many years later! Will’s laugh always makes me laugh, it’s so joyful. I hope Ben will make an appearance at some point. I do feel like Danielle will be in the middle of telling a story when Rider interrupts her and never lets her go back to finish (such as her telling about when the stalker fan showed up at her school or about the Closing Time song…I wanted to hear the rest of those stories, but Rider interjected and it was never brought back). Maybe I notice because I tend to get interrupted a lot myself. Anyway. Thank you for the nostalgia! (And as far as ads go, you can always skip them if you listen on Apple Podcats! 🤷♀️)

Nostalgia personified
Boy Meets World was my absolute favorite show when I was a kid. I remember my dad laughing at me for watching reruns as often as I could and wanting to grow up to be exactly like Topanga. Even to this day, at 30 years old, he still makes fun of me for loving it now just as much as I did then. Being able to listen to this podcast and relive the episodes with some of my favorite actors is something I’ll treasure for a very long time. Can’t wait to keep rewatching & listening for the next 40 years with you all 🖤

I love this podcast!!
Danielle, Will & Rider are amazing hosts and I love the fact that Ben Savage came up with this idea (haha I had to, sorry Rider). But seriously I love hearing the stories from behind the scenes and how things came to be on the show. And rewatching the episodes brings me back to my childhood every episode I watch. And now I can share the experience with my nephew time to time.

Danielle Does the Podcast a Disservice
Piggybacking off of a previous reviewer, Danielle constantly loves to talk about herself and frequently brings back the conversation to herself whether or not she was a part of the scene being discussed. Very narcissistic and reeks of vanity. Why is she leading the show, too? Shouldn’t it be Rider, at least, if Ben is not present? The constant interruptions and talking over one another is quite frustrating and annoying. The long commercials are also quite unnecessary. I love to tune in for Will though! He is hilarious and has a phenomenal memory of the show which is paramount when doing a re-listen podcast.

Time Machine
This show for me as a time machine. It takes me back to when I was in high school which I think was angst ridden for all of us and they gave us a little bit of comfort in that time.My favorite memories are from the late 90s when my daughter was born in the two of us would watch the reruns together. To this day one of my favorite memories it’s just the genuine laughter of my daughter :) thank you everybody for both the show in this pod both are tremendous. on a sidenote it’s also fun to hear occasional stories from Will as I grew up in Connecticut also lol.

A taste of nostalgia
I was only 4 years old when BMW premiered so I didn’t get to watch it til later in the 90’s on TGIF but I have such good memories even though I didn’t remember the show. I rewatched it last year and fell in love. Then the podcast came out and I am watching it with the podcast and i’m so happy! I look forward to each episode and I love that they’re longer than an hour, and love the extra episodes with interviews and Q&A’s! I look forward to each episode. i saw someone being critical of u guys getting into the politics and critiquing elements of the show and I hope you don’t listen to that person. I LOVE the behind the scenes commentary!!! I love learning about how you all felt and YOUR experience. Don’t let them take that away from you or the podcast. Lastly, I love Indy’s commentary!! Please include him on more episodes! People are such haters. Don’t change the podcast I love everything about it and it brings so much joy to my life. I hope this podcast goes on for many years so feel free to add extra in-between episodes to make it last longer lol

By far my favorite podcast right now! Danielle, Will and Rider are down to earth, funny and real!! Weird vibe
I was excited to listen to this and relive being a kid. I listen to multiple show re-watch podcasts and I have not heard one where they bash or get critical of the show that built them-made them famous. It is hard to listen to when they get into politics or share their philosophies of modern and work cultures. This show is what it is and was set 30 years ago so just let it be. People want to listen to relive being a kid and not hear philosophies or critical commentary of the show that literally built them. Had to stop.

Love It!
The second rewatch podcast I’ve listened to from cast members of a show (the first being Drama Queens) and Pod Meets World is the superior podcast. The genuine friendship between Danielle, Rider and Will comes through when they’re talking. They do a great job of analyzing the episodes and discussing their memories without getting away from the subject of the episode. I love that their guest episodes are dedicated to the guest(s) and don’t overtake a podcast episode that is discussing an episode of BMW. It’s also really fun when the guest comes on again to talk about a BMW episode. The one with Trina McGee was a lot of fun. High, highly recommend for any BMW fan.

Only ok
I’m trying really hard to like this podcast. I love this show and I do think there is a lot of potential here. But I feel simple things like audio clips from the episode would be a great addition to the show. Especially when they are discussing delivery of lines and reactions. Other rewatch pods do this and it brings so much more to the show. Also, there are wayyyyy to many ads. I get it needs to generate revenue but it really kills the flow of the show. Also, I am all for pointing out weird “I can’t believe we thought that was ok” things from the show eg the line about Topanga shaving her legs or the water guns in tue cafeteria, but move on. It pulls me out of the discussion of the show. TLDR God show room for improvement add audio clips from the show.

A Fun and Insightful Trip Down a Piece of 90’s Americana: Boy Meets World
Danielle, Will, and Rider do an amazing job of both recapping episodes of Boy Meets World, but also giving insightful and fun interviews with previous cast and crew members. It’s awesome to hear their take on the show now that they’re adults and how differently they may or may not view the show that they helped make. It’s really interesting to hear about things that happened behind-the-scenes that might have negatively affected them during the time the show was being made. I really like how all three aren’t afraid to discuss content on the show that might not be acceptable in today’s society, such as jokes characters make or certain dialogue choices. Of course, it’s always best when the discussion is positive and light-hearted, like discussion regarding how many articles of clothing one of them is wearing during a scene (“Too Much Shirts!”). All in all, Pod Meets World is a fun trip down memory lane for fans of the show both old and new.

Makes Me So Happy
Boy Meets World was a huge part of my childhood. Because of its ability to cater to viewers of different ages, it was one of the only shows that my three siblings and I could all agree on, and truly brought us together, gave us something in common to discuss, and still gets quoted when we get together as adults. As a fixture in the house, the characters almost felt like extended siblings. Cory’s antics, Shawn’s resilience, Topanga’s confidence and emotional intelligence, and Eric’s heart and humor grew up with me and helped me feel okay in my own quirky skin. Topanga, especially, showed me that girls and women could be strong and feisty while also being loving and understanding and feminine. Listening to this podcast brings back all of those good feelings, complicated (in fascinating ways) by the nuance of your experiences - good and bad and in between. It’s like family therapy with a foundation of love. Thank you for making this show!

Had potential to be great….
This has potential to be a great rewatch podcast if they would just stick to review/talk above the episode and stop all the woke talk about how things were bad back in the 90s and how those things wouldn’t be accepted today. Just let us enjoy the rewatch and talk about the filming/backstage stuff about the episode. And cut Riders kid out also….

Fun show, needs tweaking
This show is fun and a total blast from the past! However, things that would make it smoother (in my opinion) are as follows: -Talk over each other WAY too much. -Danielle always brings the conversation back to herself even when she has nothing to do with the scenes or situations the group is discussing. It ALWAYS goes back to her being on the show which is a MASSIVE part of the show, but definitely not in the early seasons. -The commercials ruin it. Do live reads for sponsors. Ruins the flow how you’re doing it now. It just sounds like you guys hired people to tell you this style of podcast is a good idea. It’s not. Listen to other shows to learn about live reads. Besides those notes, I dig what you guys are doing and will continue to listen to each episode as they really are a fun ride and blast from the past. Just continue to grow into it and in seven years when you guys are on season two, episode nine, it will be smooth sailing.

This show is everything I could ever want from one of my all time favorite tv shows. As an actor myself it’s so important to hear these kinds of stories so candidly. The love that these three hosts have for each other is undeniable and so refreshing to hear in the climate of the world today. I genuinely can’t wait to hear Will, Danielle & Rider recall each and every episode of this beloved classic tv show.

Thoroughly Entertaining, Informative
Pod Meets World is a fascinating revisitation of a series that guided a generation of children and continues to do so via streaming. Through a 2022 lens, listeners are given a deeper insight into how television was produced in the 1990s and what does and doesn’t stand the test of time; things like gender equality in scripts, acknowledgment of race and what it means to be “normal.” Danielle moderates flawlessly, anchoring the podcast as Rider and Will contribute endlessly interesting, entertaining, fun and funny commentary. Well done.

Fun and a good listen!
I love hearing the three of them talk about the show from their view, I love the guests, and I really like the format they have going. It’s also really nice to hear them point out the things that wouldn’t be acceptable now. The only negative comments about this podcast is that it’s “too woke” which makes me laugh. They should acknowledge the things that aren’t appropriate anymore because times have changed and the people saying it’s “too woke” are just bitter.

Great podcast, too much political talk
I truly enjoy listening to this podcast. I do wish that there weren’t so many discussions regarding their personal political views. This show was created in different times and the politics don’t really seem relevant to the show. Aside from that, it is so fun hearing their side of making the show and being able to rewatch the episodes along with listening to the podcast.

Thank you for doing this podcast!! It’s something I look forward to every week! I love the nostalgia and hearing behind the scenes things the cast experienced and how friendly everyone is! I hope this goes on till the last episode of the tv series! This show was always on in my room growing up and it’s such a classic it’s my go to at night when I need to feel calm and relax. We appreciate you all!! Don’t let the haters get you down. This podcast is working! And the true fans love it. Would love to see Danielle and Will in a new sitcom with Ryder directing!! 😁♥️

Perfect mix of recap, behind the scenes!
LOVE this podcast. I think the behind the scenes details are especially interesting with BMW, because we didn’t have this window into the show’s creation back in the day that we do now. I love all the sausage making details and discussion of what they were all thinking during filming. :)

Full of Comfort and Nostalgia
When I first read about this podcast, I was excited to listen to see what it was about. I did not anticipate just how great it would be. I love the episode reaps, but what I love more is hearing about what the memories and feelings were for the actors behind the scenes. I feel as though I’m listening to my best friends chat for an hour, and I genuinely look forward to each episode. I’m actually slightly sad that I’m always all caught up. I get the chills when I hear the “we love you all, pod dismissed,” send off. Thank you for channeling my inner 90s self bringing back to a place I have always loved.

Pod Meets Love
I have a new favorite podcast! @podmeetsworldshow is so good! The interviews are so informative and the recaps are bringing back so many memories of watching this show with my brothers! I love getting two episodes a week and reliving my childhood. Thank you so much for doing this!! Update: the best thing about this show is Will. I’m not entirely sure if I’ve given up or still try to listen to it. Its just a downer show anymore. It’s could be known as the Danielle show featuring the guys. Danielle had one of her friends that had nothing to do with the show and Lance Bass on. I did enjoy the Lance episode, but it didn’t have anything to do with Boy Meets World. If the actors didn’t like doing the show, why are they making a podcast???

I have always love BMW. I used to pride myself on saying I had seen everyone episode at least 7 times through. They do not make shows like this anymore. It’s wholesome, real, funny, just full of what it’s like to go through life. Reliving each episode through the eyes of the cast is now my new enjoyment. I love hearing from guest starts, hearing the behind the scenes moments, and really getting to know the cast’s feelings. Pod Meets World is the one and only Podcast I have listened to. Best New Podcast
I’ve been a fan of this show for years, I love hearing about what happened behind the scenes. I’m Will’s age so I was a little older when the show premiered in the 90’s but that didn’t matter, I still loved it and still do today. I’m a teacher and I try to think that Mr. Feeny plays a large role in how I relate to my students, even though I teach them I care more for them then they will ever know. Please keep up the great work and I look forward to years of great content.

Like a Nostalgia Trip with Friends!
I love this trio so much (though I wish Will would quit criticizing his acting so much)… it’s a great revisit to a series that meant so much to me. The insight and stories are incredible and it’s really cool to revisit BMW with a little age under my belt. This has quickly become one of my go-to listen and definitely makes gym visits more fun. My ONLY criticism has nothing to do with the show itself but the whole “I Heart Radio” corporate-ness of it all. Sooooo many ad breaks and it’s the same ads on repeat. All I can say is get familiar with the :30 second skip button. Here’s hoping for a patreon or premium option because while I don’t mind ads, 4-5 repeat breaks an episode is a bit much and I don’t mind supporting creators I admire.

Goes above and beyond, just like the original show
What separated Boy Meets World from other family sitcoms of its era was how consistently it took tropes you were familiar with from similar, cornier shows and subverted them constantly. Nearly every interaction felt meaningful, and for every stellar punchline, there was a much deeper heart and soul underneath it all. This podcast takes the “cast rewatch” format that has been done to death recently, and once again, takes tropes from that and turns them upside down. What ends up happening is much less akin to a walk down memory lane, and more of a therapy session, unpacking misunderstood interactions, walking through the complicated process of 90s Hollywood to the listeners, allowing us to see the show warts and all. Beyond the genuine, heartfelt commentary between the cast, is an intent to really dig into the show and understand why it did work, how they played a part in it, and what could’ve been done differently. No forced segments, just old friends reuniting and enjoying the ride. There’s nothing else like this and I’m so glad this podcast exists.

Edit: Once Angela enters the show you guys need to bring Trina on as a host. She’s amazing. To this day when someone asks me what my favorite show is I still say Boy Meets World. I was so excited for this podcast but nervous that it might be terrible and ruin things for me (like the new girl podcast did) but it’s amazing. They all get along. No one’s bragging. I’m absolutely glued to this podcast. It’s been such an emotional and “feel-good” journey listening in every week for me. I really appreciate your honesty, transparency and ability to discuss difficult topics. I love the deep dives, BTS and also being a part of your inside jokes (front yard, back yard)! I am a huge fan of all of you but wanted to give a special shout out to Will. His physical comedy skills made me laugh so hard growing up. I really love rewatching those episodes. BMW Podcast!
I absolutely loved this show growing up and still to this very day it’s one of my all time favorite sitcoms. I truly love sitting in my car driving down the road while listening to the podcast and reminiscing about the good old days with my favorite characters. The nostalgia is so real! I also love that they’ve opened up this world for us to be able to hear things straight from their mouths. Their experiences, perspectives, and the many pleasant memories they had. It feels good to hear them talk about these things so fondly. Al of the BMW fans I’m sure are listening and smiling from ear to ear with them because I know I am. I really hope this podcast continues to grow and that it will last a very long time. They’ve got so many fans out there. It’s been a long time coming, and it’s the coolest way that they can tell their story without having write an actual book about it!

Kind of a mess…
Will keeps it together for the most part but Ryder and Danielle go off about really uninteresting topics and the whole show kind of falls flat. They constantly talk over one another. There’s a bit of nostalgia which is good, but there’s too much judging of the past through a modern day lens. I don’t see the value in that. They’re trying to make office ladies but with a much less iconic show and kind of showing that they were just actors reading lines, these people aren’t actually funny.

Has been great until the latest episode.
Ive really enjoyed the walk down memory lane with this podcast but the latest episode with Trina McGee was a slog to get through. It should have just been titled White Guilt. They spent over an hour being punching bags while just glossing over the fact that she was 27 while her love interest was 17. Im not saying she lied about her age but they eluded to the fact that she was secretive about it which is really gross. I dont care if you have a family and kids, its not ok. This episode and the whole situation would be a firestorm if the genders were reversed. Absolutely ridiculous for Will to have to fall on his sword for a joke made in passing but this ADULT to face no consequences for being deceptive to get a role playing a childs love interest.

Such an amazing podcast!
Pod Meets World isn’t just a simple let’s rewatch and recap BMW episodes. There are people who were important to creating those episodes from backstage hands to the directors that get talked about and talked with as guests on the show. There are Q&A episodes, special guests that talk about the guest’s lives and and how the show impacted them and their careers. I hope they keep this mixed formula because it’s something that can give the show proper longevity. Thank you for this!

High highs, low lows
I’m torn on this one. On one hand, let’s start with the good. I thoroughly enjoy hearing these 3 talk about their time on the show. I also think they do a great job of just chatting and talking about things that may only be BMW-adjacent. Compared to other rewatch podcasts like this feels so much more heartfelt, less rehearsed, and more informative. I feel like I actually come away from episodes having learned several things I didn’t already know, which can’t be said for many “Office Ladies” episodes. On the other hand, there’s been an increasingly noticeable trend of wasting time on diatribes about left-wing political correctness. It’s unfortunate they so (increasingly) often choose to interrupt fun, interesting, and deep conversations about a beloved show with long lectures on privilege, degrees of whiteness, cultural appropriation, etc. Will tends to be a little more understanding and light-hearted in these moments, but Danielle and Rider seem intent on making sure everyone filters this beloved show through their own political lenses. It really is unfortunate.

Overall worthwhile.
I was utterly obsessed with BMW, so I was excited for this. Overall enjoyable. Danielle and Will are great, Rider can be just as narcissistic as his character in the show became. The woke garbage they’ll shove down your throat is annoying, but what else would expect from the industry. Thankfully, their preaching on those issues usually lasts for a short while before getting back to simply talking about the show. I plan to keep listening. The behind the scenes is interesting and learning about industry is fascinating.

I’ve listened to countless re-watch podcasts and this is the best one. I love that when they have guests, they make it a second episode instead of having the guest interview take away from the recap. I want it to be better !
This rewatch podcast has a lot of potential but they aren’t utilizing what they have right in front of them! They have guests on the show to “rewatch an episode” and then they don’t go into the specific episode! For example, the Marty York episode. Their guest seemed prepared to discuss the episode ‘Boys to Mensa’ and they barely spoke about that episode. It also felt like they barely spoke to him about BMW instead having interview questions that were all over the place. It seems like they should have an outline of what they would like to get through in the episode so they don’t go so offtrack. It also seems like they should be doing more prep work before the episode besides just rewatching it. I would love for it to be more focused with more info about the show and behind the scenes! And the sound quality of the guests who call in is pretty terrible. I could barely hear some of them.

Interesting Talk Radio
Overall, I like the podcast and plan to continue listening, but each episode gets a little harder to enjoy. It has a more talk radio vibe than a podcast, which isn’t bad, it’s just something to note. But the hard parts is that it feels like a conversation between old friends rather than including the listener and making them feel like they are also friends. It’s not intentionally exclusive but Rider and Will in particular have a lot of old memories and as a listener you just feel like you’re watching too old friends talk/laugh at length about the past. I’m glad they’re having a good time, but more often than not, I don’t find myself feeling connected to them. I’m so happy they do have a format and a general plan because they get derailed constantly and go down every rabbit hole just about. And the details don’t add any knowledge about the show, just their personal experiences and backstory which is relatable maybe 30% of the time. Will and Rider also interrupt and talk over each other a lot so it makes the conversation tiresome to listen to. They really do have a good time but they could edit out more of the side stories. I do enjoy when they have guests on and the hosts ask great questions and it becomes more of an acting workshop which is fun. But the sound has been tough for the guests who are joining via video call. I’m very happy Danielle is there bc she works to get the guys back on track. She will generally wait for them to talk through their stories but quickly brings the conversation back to the topic at hand. I plan to listen all the way through bc I’m very interested to see how they’ll react to the college years (which were very cringe and hard to watch with adult eyes). Also, at some point, I hope they go to one episode per week because it’s a lot of content to keep up with at its current pace.

Incredible — Now please don’t skip the hard parts!
This show has so far been amazing, and I really value your perspectives. However, guys, please let your guests talk. Particularly this most recent episode, all I heard was talking about Lance Bass, nothing from him himself and he was RIGHT THERE! If you guys want guests please actually get their perspectives. I am so excited to hear all of the behind the scenes trivia from the making of Boy Meets World. Hearing from so many different cast members is also great. My biggest hope for this show is that they will address some of the major failures of Boy Meets World particularly when it comes to representation. It could have been even more of an incredible show to grow up on if it didn’t highlight 99% white students with white friends and white teachers. It’s tough to look back on my favorite show and realize how sadly tone deaf it actually was, to not cast a single main character of color until Angela, which must have been a huge challenge for herself as the only black main character on the whole show. So my request of our hosts is to please don’t shy away from talking about these things. We want to hear from you about when you (hopefully) realized how biased the casting was, and how you feel about it now. Also, I prefer the episode rewatches over the straight cast interviews, but that’s just me! So happy y’all are doing the show, looking forward to it so much! -Mary

Great Podcast, but let’s talk about the yard.
It’s great and has a unique experience and I will end up listening to every episode, but also… let’s talk about the yard. My greatest question is: where are the cars? Okay, as a kid, I lived in a corner house where the door we used was technically a side door and there was one big yard that wrapped around the house. The driveway and garage were technically BEHIND the house, and we walked through the side yard to go in a kitchen door, and the front door was rarely used. People both next to our driveway (technically in back of the house) and next to the front door, were our neighbors. Here’s my proposal: it’s the Matthews’ back yard and a corner house, but it’s Feeney’s side yard. The cars and driveway are where the audience is, the front door leads into the livingroom, the French doors lead to the other side of the corner and also face the street. But since BOTH doors face the street, it’s as if there is no back yard. Everything feels like a side yard. And the people both where the audience would be and where Feeney are, are your neighbors.

BMW has been my favorite show since I was a kid. I have rewatched it as an adult and now - because of this podcast - I am rewatching it with my 7-year-old daughter. Getting to hear the voices of Danielle, Rider, and Will is truly like coming home and instantly wraps me in comfort. You Don’t Know What It Means to Us
Growing up watching Boy Meets World was a special, special time for me. It captured my heart and made me love 90s sitcoms so much as a second run Disney kid watching in the 2000s. I had the biggest crush on Shawn, wanted to be Topanga, and adored Eric so so much. Everyone wanted a family like the Matthews. For you guys to bring us into the fold and narrate your life behind the scenes really deepens the love I have for you all and the show. Please don’t stop.

You People Are Way Too Sensitive!
Lighten up, people! The purpose of the podcast is for the hosts to be brutally honest about their experiences filming the show. If it bothers you, or “ruins” the show for you, then don’t listen to it! I am personally loving the openness and the inside information from the cast. Haven’t we all talked about how kids nowadays wouldn’t survive living the way that we did back in the day? We all know that times are different now so why aren’t they allowed to criticize the 90s?

Finally a great rewatch podcast!
I appreciate their honesty about the show. Wether it was a good experience or bad they let you know. We keep these shows close to our hearts cause it was something most of us grew up on. It’s honestly so refreshing to be reminded that these people had lives outside of this and were actually normal. With real feelings. As an adult listening to this I am way more equipped to understand some nuances that I wouldn’t have understood had this podcast came out 10 years ago. Please keep doing the pod exactly how you guys see fit. It’s the reason why it’s so good!

Bringing my childhood back to life
I’ve been meaning to rewatch boy meets world for so long & what perfect way to do it than with the cast itself! It’s bringing my 90s back to life. I was born in 1992 and when I watched this as a kid, I had a certain way of thinking when I watched. Watching now, it’s like watching a brand new show seeing things and interpreting them so differently! This makes my inner kid feel so much joy. My only criticism is there’s 2 episodes a week which is really hard to keep up with being 1-1.5 hours each but wow this podcast is exactly what every 80s & 90s kid needs.

my favorite new listen
i agree with the other review that said this is exactly what you want from other rewatch podcast. GREAT hosting. no one goes off on tangents unrelated to the show. their voices aren't annoying where i need to turn it down every 5 min bc someone gets over excited about something and yells into the microphone (you know who you are). it's an easy listen where i find myself smiling the whole time. i was 12 when the show started, and hearing them talk i feel like im catching up with old friends. and learning a lot of stuff in the process. each host has such a great take away of different moments that i think makes listening that much more enjoyable. i also really love the every other episode aspect of interviewing cast and crew. can't rave about this show enough

A Rewatch Podcast Done Right.
Easily among the most engaging and entertaining entries in an increasingly over-saturated and underwhelming sub-genre of podcasts. The reviewers who complain about the hosts recognition of blatantly dated elements of a thirty year old sitcom are projecting. My one issue with the podcast is the advertising. I understand it’s a business and ads are a common source of revenue, but repeating the same ones multiple times in each episode quickly turns into an antagonistic listening experience. Once I become annoyed by a commercial I vow to never use that product or service as long as I live.

Best Rewatch Podcast
This is everything I wanted the Scrubs rewatch podcast to be (which is good in its own way, but this is better): detailed breakdowns of each scene with commentaries on the performance, direction, individual memories and behind the scenes notes. No veering off randomly onto unrelated tangents. Also really nice when the cast members actually come across as genuinely likable people.

Doing exactly what they didn’t want to do.
I think these 3 are going down the path they stated they hoped to avoid in episode 1. I love BMW and think it is a top 3 90’s sitcom - but Will, Rider and Danielle are making it difficult to continue to listen. It’s fair to say after reviewing 4 episodes, 60-65% of the conversation has been generally negative about the show. The negativity comes in forms of; dislike of the creator (which I get based off the experiences), but also the dissecting of lines they deem as “inappropriate”. The mention of a water gun, the opinion of women working, the way they treat Minkus & and classic sitcom lines they believe “don’t age well”. I feel confident saying BMW fans understand what era this aired in and how today things are stated differently. I cringe at the thought of how they will react whenever Frankie Stechino is introduced and how Frankie would react to Joey sometimes. As I watch BMW now, that’s what I find myself doing. Stating in my head, “Oh, Rider, Danielle and Will are going to hate this line and run it through the mud” - when in reality it’s good TV and good writing. It’s kids talking and at the end of the day Fenny is there to provide real world advice and guidance. Hope things turn around and they listen to reviews. BMW has a great legacy many can relate to - here’s hoping it continues.

I've been waiting my whole life for this
When I was in fifth grade I moved to a new town, and unfortunately, the first friend I made was extremely possessive. She spread awful rumors about me so that no one else would like me and she'd be my only friend. When I found out, I stopped being friends with her, which left me with no friends at all. Until Boy Meets World started. Every Friday night I got to hang out with Cory, Topanga, and Shawn. I soon began to pretend (in my head, not out loud) that I was actually friends with Ben, Danielle, and Rider. Whenever I felt lonely, I pretended they were with me, and I felt better. If I went out back to play basketball or roller hockey, they were out there with me (especially the roller hockey - I pretty much destroyed our driveway because I was out shooting goals every night!) I ended up making friends in high school, but even then, I still hung out with my BMW friends every Friday night. After all, they had gotten me through the worst two years of my life, and I couldn't abandon them. I bought the series on DVD several years ago and rewatched it with my husband, who'd never seen the show. It dug up a lot of feelings and memories that I'd forgotten, both good and bad. I'll be interested to go through it again. So thank you to Danielle, Rider, and Will for doing this podcast. I know I'm not alone in saying that BMW was an important part of my childhood. This podcast is a way for me to reunite with my old "friends." ❤️

Absolutely love how it’s turning out!
I LOVE this rewatch podcast and it’s quickly turning into my favorite! I love the conversations, how they approach topics from the past comparing to now, and the BTS stories including experiences had on set with creators, writers, other actors, etc. I enjoy how the hosts explain how episodes made them feel while watching now, and to hear what feelings/memories come up from the past. It’s beautiful, conversational, engaging, and feels like you’re hanging out with friends. I ADORE Riders son’s commentary/feedback from his perspective as they rewatch together. It’s heartwarming, funny, and so sweet! I love being able to listen along to the hosts process all their emotions/memories from each episode while also enjoying the rewatch of the show myself. Thank you for sharing it with us, and I look forward to listening each week! I’m genuinely thrilled to rewatch this beloved show on the same timeline as the podcast episodes being released. Thank you!

Like probably all the listeners, I grew up with BMW as a 90’s kid and have continued to watch into my adult years. It is one of my all time favorite shows. Great Podcast, but please pull back on the virtue signaling
I’ve enjoyed this podcast more than other rewatch podcast, but they are starting to get preachy and looking at the 90s through a 2020s lens. Hopefully, they pull back on the virtue signaling and telling the listeners how they should react to situations. Keeping things honest is great, but don’t bring your personal values and cultural opinions into the commentary

Enjoying the conversations that happen in the podcast and how the 3 can look at things and express honest views of the series while pointing out it’s flaws…the “explanations” on the lower ratings are the reasons why I want even more of what they complain about because these things need to be talked about.

All the feels
Im pretty picky when it comes to podcasts because most of the time, I dont care to listen to people small talk with each other. But these 3 have the best dynamic, they are all hilarious and I love hearing their stories even when they have nothing to do with the show! Reliving these episodes and hearing all the behind the scenes stories has been so much fun and very interesting. I love that they not only recap the episodes but also take time to talk with all the people who made the show as special as it was. If Boy Meets World meant anything to you at all as an adolescent, you will enjoy this podcast. ❤️

Simply the best
*Updated*: I’d love to hear Rider’s son talk about what he thought about each episode. That would be an awesome recurring theme. To re-live them vicariously through the eyes of a child. That would be rad. That is all. Original review: BMW stands as the best tv series to grace television. It’s been neck and neck with Friends for me. But after rewatching all of episodes on Disney plus, bmw pull ahead for me. It will be shown to my kids and grandkids. And the torch will be carried onto the next generation.

Amazing!
This is one of the BEST rewatch podcasts out there right now. I was a little hesitant when I saw Amy Sugarman was a producer cause the Gilmore girl pod is a 77 min complain and constant interruption fest. However Danielle, Ryder and Will do a fantastic job. The clearly rewatch it, they talk about behind the scenes stuff and explain so many of the continuity issues of the show and poke fun at it. It’s just such a refreshing thing to listen to! A nice throwback and a great balance
I really enjoy this show and they have some really hilarious moments. I find they have a great balance between praising the show and the crew, being critical of some of the scenes that didn’t work, while also acknowledging the huge nostalgia factor. Some other “rewatch podcasts” feel really scripted and disingenuous, where everything is fake positive and “amazing, lady!!!” ..’nuff said. This show on the other hand does a great job of being critical of some parts that didn’t age well, and just making it clear that not everything is all sunshine and rainbows. I appreciate the honesty and their willingness to really dive in to the best and worst parts of the show. Feels authentic and is a great listen! Thanks for coming up with the podcast idea, Will! ;)

Love the podcast!
I love the chemistry between the hosts! More importantly I love how they address some of the issues with the show and point out the good things. I loved the show growing up, but can hardly watch it now due to some stuff during episodes handled poorly due to the time period. The hosts not only address the issues, but also point out the good points I didn’t notice. It really makes me feel so much more comfortable about the show not to mention just hearing all the BTS stuff is just so fun!

I grew up watching Boy Meets World and really enjoyed the show throughout the years. I figured I would like this pod, but I had no idea how much. This is way better than I could have anticipated. The Best Show has the Best Podcast
I love the honesty and in depth look back by all 3 cast members and their guests. Will summarized it perfectly when he said the reason fans connect to this show is it reminds them of a time when they could just sit and watch and be in the show. The stories of behind the scenes are funny to hear as many of the things, we would never think of as an audience. The detail of what into each scene accompanied by the hilarious honesty is what makes this the best show podcast. What a coincidence I had just rewatched the whole series for the first time in a decade as you guys were recording these episodes. Love you guys. Please keep these coming. Just like the show, the podcast really does give you a comfortable feeling that relieves the anxiety of life, work, etc. easy 5 stars from this mid 30s BMW guy.

I Was Excited, but..
When I heard about this podcast, I was beyond excited. BMW is one of my favorite shows of all time. It’s still an escape for me at 33, but listening more and more I’ve grown tired of a few things. 1.) The ads! Holy smokes, is it necessary every 10 minutes on a 1.5 hour pod? No. This goes for merch too. Run it pre or post roll. 2.) The constant bemoaning of how things are outdated. S1 aired over 25 years ago. Of course society has changed. Had this show aired last year, I’d get it. We understand the politics that’s typical in show business these days and there isn’t a need to further it on something that’s supposed to be nostalgic. 3.) We all know about the plot holes. They became relevant to us as we aged. No need in bashing the writers that helped make you guys relevant.

like reuniting with old friends
From the second I learned about this podcast earlier in this week, I’ve absolutely inhaled every episode through the most recent. the rapport between the three hosts is so fun to listen along to. i love how candid everyone is about their unique experiences on the show, both fond and critical, and the chemistry that was evident on the show back from the beginning is palpable. i feel like I grew up with this cast while the original show was on, and it’s the best kind of reminiscing with old friends where the love is still there, never went away. what a fun, intimate look into everyone’s lives both then and now.

Nostalgia at its best
I really enjoy this podcast. The episodes are long but it feels like they go by quickly. The guests so far have been great, loved hearing from Rusty, Bill/Bonnie, and Lee. I watched boy meets world when it was airing, rewatched afterwards, and also watched girl meets world. There’s so much to learn and takeaway each time you watch (and at different ages) so I’m excited to watch again along with Danielle, Ryder, and Will. Ryder’s son shares some thoughts and it’s fascinating! It’s very cool hearing them remember the experience and to get some behind the scenes updates. Thank you for doing this!!

Very refreshing, but the ads…
A fun trip down memory lane, and came around at the right time, as I started a rewatch prior to the launch of the show! I know it’s not their fault, but there are SO MANY ADS. Every 10 minutes, a 2+ minute block of ads. Yeesh. Fun nonetheless.

Love it but…
The show is SO great, BMW was my youth! however when they interview guests Danielle, Rider & Will go off on tangents and completely ostracize the guest. The guest could go 10-15 minutes without even contributing. Also for a 22-24 minute TV show, the pod is 3x that length, it’s a bit excessive but I understand they are reminiscing. Also, you don’t need merch for everything. People want merch for nostalgia not random musings that pop out of people’s mouths.

I’m not sure how I feel yet
I think overall the behind the scenes stories are pretty cool. I do think where the pod falls flat is with Rider. He’s so negative at times often criticizing himself or things that “didn’t age well” it’s quite annoying tbh. Also, the segment with his son I can do without I catch myself skipping ahead. It’s still early so I’m hoping it gets better

Professional Reflection
I’m really enjoying this rewatch format. I think the fact that Girl Meets World happened, and that Rider and Danielle have been in both the actor and director chair has helped their reflections be more thorough. More than just memories, they’re sharing their thoughts then and their impression now, with what they e learned as professionals. Also - I know anxiety is a real and serious condition, but Will, please be kinder to yourself! My favorite memories of the show almost always included you, and your work then holds up today wonderfully. Your charm on the tv show brings such joy to the podcast now. You three are all doing such a wonderful job!

Slow down please
I loved BMW when I was growing up. I sobbed my eyes out when the ending aired the first time. So this podcast is wonderful to hear about what it was like to film, memories. But please slow down when speaking. I have a hard time understanding what is being said because my brain does not compute speech coming through that quickly. Also there are guests who’s audio recording is really rough and spotty specifically the episode with David Trainer. His audio was really hard to hear clearly and couldn’t understand him as well as I would have liked.

Boy isn’t Woke
I really was excited to find out this podcast was coming because I loved BMW growing up and even now love catching old episodes, but if you’re looking for an escape from ‘cancel culture’ this rewatch podcast isn’t for you. I want to hear a ‘behind the scenes’ podcast about a beloved show, not Will, Danielle and Rider bemoaning how things were so different and ‘rude’ on tv and in America 30 years ago. It’s really ruining the show for me. As much as I would love to keep listening, I just can’t handle the snarky comments and rants about how bad things were back then. A lot of us grew up back then and we turned out pretty good today. A lot of us watched BMW back then and it didn’t influence us to make fun of plumbers or throw balls at peoples heads. We loved the show because it was funny. Don’t ruin that for us.

Pod Meet Older Chick
I absolutely love this Podcast! As the title states, I am what you might consider an ‘Older Chick,’ but that in no way hinders my love for Boy (or Girl) Meets World. I have so many wonderful memories from this show(s) and enjoy hearing your collective memories of making it. Even today, at (just turned) 50 years old, this show is the reason why each and every time I hear the word “underpants” I have to repeat it in my Corey Matthews voice. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is. Thank you all. Review dismissed.

I’m not one for podcasts. They’ve never caught my attention. I’ve been recommended so many through the years but never gave it a try. The moment these guys said they were making one, I was all in. It’s been so nostalgic hearing them talk about their experiences on this show, and having all the guests so far has been incredible. I also love that every show ends with “we love you all, pod dismissed” 🥹♥️ I’m just about all caught up on the episodes, and I soooo looking forward to the rest. I loved this show and these guys are great. I hate to be negative, but it’s like they don’t understand what made this show great. The podcast can be a little self indulgent. New favorite pod! But some constructive feedback...
As someone who considers Boy Meets World to be one of the most important television programs from my childhood, this podcast is an absolute gift that I’m so grateful for! Danielle Fishel and Will Friedle are INCREDIBLE hosts who perfectly blend their stories, insight, and great senses of humor be it in the interviews they conduct or episode re-watches. The two of them carry this thing. Not trying to be critical but I do think that Rider Strong comes off as angry and bitter, often interrupting Danielle, Will and/or their guests with an axe to grind…I believe it's hurting the pod. I'll continue to tune in twice a week but hope to see his hosting style change as the pod progresses.

Huge fan of the show, but…
I’m 37 and this was and still is one of my favorite shows. What great memories it brings back, and as an adult, I still find myself laughing out loud. The podcast though folks…it’s awesome to go back and hear their insights BUT…my GOD, can we just let the show be what it was in the time it was written? Ryder spends far too much time PRE-apologizing for anything the woke brigade may find *gasp*, offensive. Stop with all the faux cringe moments you find as a 2022 watcher. It’s so holier than thou, and makes me want to turn off the podcast as my constant eye rolls are beginning to give me a headache. Just let it be and take the inevitable flack for all the “non politically correct” lines on the chin like an adult. We don’t need the revisionist history from the woke brigade. Laugh. It was all funny. PS: can we get rid of Ryder’s son’s commentary? It’s so insignificant.

Middle aged super fan
This podcast is great! I prefer the episodes with the guests as we learn a lot more insider info. I like that the more recent episodes have been wiling to dive into some of the negative aspects of the show because it felt so authentic. We already love the show so nothing you discuss will ever change that. I’m crossing my fingers that Corey will come on for at least an episode or two even if it’s “not his thing.”

Childhood Obsession Revisited
I was one of those kids who caught the second wind of Boy Meets World in the early 2000s and quickly became obsessed. My best friends and I always used quotes as inside jokes and acted out scenes for little school talent shows. I even was so inspired by Mr Feeny that I ended up becoming a teacher myself. 😅 As an adult now, I really appreciate listening to the commentary and genuine camaraderie between the cast. Thank you guys for your willingness to walk through this time of your life with us!

Show is great, ads not so much
I grew up on BMW. Love the podcast format and all the guests. I just wish the ads were not so “in your face”. It seems every ad is saying queer this or transgender that, or heavily focused on race. How about some normal ads to try and sell me on a subscription service for Hello Fresh or a VPN?

Best Pod Ever
Wow they’ve hit it out of the park from the beginning. Other re-watch pods needed to find a rhythm but these guys are natural. They don’t miss anything from the episodes to dissect but also share so much honor for all the people they talk about and love all the love and memories. Amazing!

Love this Pod
This is a great podcast! I love BMW and really love hearing all the behind the scenes stuff, both positive and negative. It’s important to remember this show was made in the 90s, so there might be things someone might not like. They grew up in a different time period than we are now. Remember, it was 30 years ago. I’ve been rewatching the episodes before and after each episode recap because there are always things I miss. They do such a great job, they even keep my husband intrigued (who hates podcasts). Keep up the great work!

One of the best!
This show has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts! I always loved the show, but as an adult, I couldn’t remember why. I’ve only listened to four episodes so far, but I remembered why within the first half hour of the first episode. I just listened to the podcast with the “Feenys”. I am a huge IMDb nerd but we didn’t have that back in the day. I had no idea the dean was his actual wife!! 😱 That was such a fun surprise. Thank you for letting them just talk, rather than reviewing an episode. That hour was golden!

For the Fans!
As someone who holds Boy Meets World near and dear to my heart, I worried the podcast would taint my perception of it. I thought if it was simply about 90s nostalgia, or making fun of outfits and hairstyles, it would cheapen the show. But that is not the case at all! Danielle, Rider and Will are nailing it, along with their great guests. Their stories are interesting and relevant, exactly the kind of things real fans love to learn about. They dive into the heart of the episodes, scene by scene, and it has done nothing but augment and enhance my love of this show! If you, as a true fan, are holding out, don’t! It’s well worth checking out. Much love to these guys for making this happen and doing it right.

Part good/part bad
I’ve listened to the first few episodes now although I couldn’t get through the third show one. I’m not sure I’ll keep listening. I was excited for this podcast. I don’t listen to many but my son starting watching BMW and I’ve always loved the show. So pre-teen me was excited to listen for the behind the scenes goodies and fun stories, which honestly don’t seem to be there much. I’m finding it so much more negative than I’d hoped. Almost becoming pretentious in some ways. I don’t know, this isn’t the experience I’d hoped for. Hopefully it’ll get better but I’d almost rather not listen so I don’t ruin the memories of a great show. I won’t have my son listen to it either. He really feels like the show is relatable and I’d hate to ruin it for him.

One of the best Podcasts around
Having grown up with this show I was super excited to find out there was a podcast started by the cast. The three of them are so good and honest about everything that happened and their perspectives on each episode that you really get to hear a lot about the show. OBSESSED
I am an avid podcast listener and I have never written a review but I grew up on BMW it was my favorite TGIF show. This was something I will never forget shooting with my family every Friday night with some Pizza Hut after a long week. (What I thought was a long week even though I was in elementary school) After starting this podcast I went through and rewatched all of the episodes. It’s so amazing to hear the behind the scenes and where they are now stories. I am hoping by the end we get atleast one Feeny call. For those who love the 90’s and the nostalgia of it all, this show does not disappoint. The segment with Riders son is iconic and I can’t wait for more! You guys are doing an amazing job and it makes the drive to work so much better! 💜💜💜💜

I could listen to them talk about their careers, all the behind the scenes, each episode—anything really! Their first episode was so strong and interesting to hear all the show details, and every episode after has been fantastic. Love their chemistry, banter, insights, and energy. Such a fun walk down memory lane with a classic show! I do hope Ben does at least one guest appearance, but we’ll see.

It’s good, not great
As I listen to these, it doesn’t sound like they even liked being on the show. All the complaints, all the talk about the jokes they didn’t like or how the jokes were sexist….none of them would be anything without BMW. They have Bill Daniels on and his wife would barely let him talk. I’m sure his memory is suffering but when he actually got to tell a story, he seemed to remember pretty well. And thank god you can skip ahead because who cares what Rider’s son thinks about the show? Maybe it will get better but I’m not giving it too much longer.

Ryder Strong is a snob
All I took away from this is that Ryder Strong was a jealous snobby brat and makes hating the show a major pillar of his personality. He made it very clear he thought he was too good for a sitcom and that he was jealous of Ben. This has ruined the lovable Shawn Hunter for me because Shawn was down to earth - Ryder clearly isn’t. Thanks a lot.

Being a huge of the series growing up, (and still being a huge fan now.) Watching the series on TGIF as it aired and then picking up each dvd as they became available. This podcast is like lost audio commentaries from those dvd sets and is a great companion to the tv series we all love. Hope it’ll continue into the “Girl Meets World” era as well when it eventually makes it to that.

What a Treat!!
I am enjoying this podcast to the fullest! “Boy Meets World” was a favorite show in my childhood years and I still have bouts of turning it on and enjoying as an adult! As ya’ll have pointed out, you can relate to the adult characters and have meaning to the lessons from their perspective just as much as watching as a child and relating to your characters. I have enjoyed sharing the show with my 9 year old daughter as well! Listening to you all and your special guests have conversations about your memories of the show, what it was like being on set, etc. is such a treat! Thank you!!💗

Pure 90s Nostalgia!
Pod Meets World is KILLING the rewatch podcast game! When Office Ladies started it set the bar high and many other shows don’t even come close. Pod Meets World has a great and unique format that is able to perfectly blend behind the scenes stories & recollections while also sticking to the “rewatch” part of the description by breaking down the episodes scene by scene. I like how they have separated their interviews into their own episodes so they can be a more free flowing conversation, and then the breakdown episodes that are more structured. Boy Meets World was a huge part of my childhood, and then when I had my second child I had a resurgence of love for it because it was always on in the wee hours of the morning when I was up with the baby so I’d watch several episodes a day. I’m loving this excuse to rewatch the series again along with Danielle, Will, Rider, and all their amazing guests!! Keep up the amazing work!!!

Rider ruins 2 great shows
I still love BMW and I was so excited when I found this podcast. I was very disappointed in this podcast Will has been great in all the episodes Danielle has been ok but Rider has been the down fall. He complained nonstop and told fans how much he hated this role and hid from it. Then with him there was no call for his 5 minute comment the ballet that might be his feeling and he is welcome to his option but that is how things where back then and didn’t need to be talked about for so long. Rider ruins the childhood memories of this great show.

Perfection
As a 90s kid, it doesn’t get better than listening to Eric, Shawn, and Topanga hang out and have fun with each other. Rider, Danielle, and Will have so much natural chemistry, it’s so obvious they’ve been friends for 30 years, and this show is like them letting us in on that friendship. Thank you for doing this show. It’s also just objectively a good podcast.

So many feelings
It really is crazy being plunged right back to my childhood with this added behind the scenes view! Absolutely love the content. There is a bittttt of over talking and I feel like Rider tends to dominate the conversation a lot but hopefully this is just a new-podcast-issue and they’ll get better. I also find the “Too Many Shirts” segment a bit much- would be great to have on the social channels for us to watch as an extra but doesn’t work well for the podcast in my personal opinion. Excited to keep listening!

Thank you Danielle, Ryder and Will. I stumbled across your Pod Cast and started reliving my childhood. Through TGIF and Boy Meets World, y’all made my Friday nights epic. I love a rewatch by the actors…
I love listening to podcasts/interviews with actors about the shows they were on, so rewatch podcasts are my favorite. I’m subscribed to this one now, but I won’t be racing to listen every week like I do with Office Ladies. I really enjoy hearing the actors perspectives, particularly Will’s. BMW was a favorite of mine growing up because it wasn’t a super cheesy Disney channel or Nickelodeon kid show. They don’t make shows like it anymore that you can watch with your kids. So I’m excited to hear some behind-the-scenes of a childhood favorite. I haven’t listened to an iHeart podcast in a long while, but holy guacamole there are so many ads. Another thing I didn’t love is the tangent in the ep102 podcast about guns and how kids playing with water guns at school was so shocking. I’m from a small rural town, so I understand that life is different here compared to LA, but I was rolling my eyes hard through that part. Comparing water guns at school in any way to Columbine was a stretch. If those kinds of comparisons are going to continue, I don’t know that I’ll keep listening. All-in-all, I think it’s a fine podcast. It’s still pretty early on; they will find a better groove with editing and flow (I agree with another review that mentioned Danielle cutting off others — don’t know if it’s an editing thing or what).

Needed some new material 🥳
I have seen every BMW episode probably 50+ times. I have watched the entire series through over and over and over. It was a comfort to me for most of my life. I also had high hopes for GMW and was disappointed when it ended before the timing BMW really took off. I have watched the voice over episodes with Michael jacobs. I have watched the interviews. BMW is a core part of me and probably a big reason why I have decent morals 😅. I am so excited to get this side of what it was like for some of the main actors. I am loving it so far 🥰

Looove this Pod!
I was born in 1990 and grew up with TGIF as a core memory. Hearing your voices and remembering the scenes in my mind, is so nostalgic to me. I love that you guys have created this! Also, the “Pod Dismissed” at the end gave me thills and made me tear up. Tingles! Thank you for this podcast!

It’s sooo good!
I grew up like many watching BMW, it shaped me in many ways. The topics and characters were ahead of times. Just as the cast is rewatching and seeing things threw different lenses, I too am seeing things as an adult that I didn’t see as a kid. I love hearing the behind the scenes, I love to see that you guys are all so close in real life. It’s just so good. And after these last two years; hearing you guys and laughing along feels like such a breath of fresh air.

Love this but…
Hey guys I love the podcast and have loved the show even more as I rewatch it all the time, but idk if it’s the editing or what, but I feel like Danielle talks over the guys or interrupts them a lot and wish that she’d let them finish what they’re trying to say, like on the podcast where they go over the 2nd episode Danielle interrupts Will when he’s talking about Morgan and how the crew would switch around the characters to see who would work best with who on the show and she interrupted him to ask Rusty a question.. and I’ve noticed that a couple times in the other episodes as well and just find that a little irritating and rude. Overall though, I love the podcast and the cast and hope that they keep it up. Just please, if you happen to read this try to be more self aware and let the other people finish their thoughts or comments! Love you! ❤️

Nostalgia Plus New
This podcast brings me right back to being a kid in the ‘90s (and to the rewatch I did during the pandemic). It’s so fun to hear these behind-the-scenes stories by three amazing hosts, who always make sure to explain the insider terms before I have the chance to Google them.

Love it!
I’ve listened to a bunch of these rewatch shows—some good, some merely okay—and this one is off to a strong start. BMW was my favorite show as a child of the 90s. Rider, Will and Danielle are all thoughtful, sensitive people and their comments are genuinely insightful and reflect their intelligence and experience as artists. Keep up the good work!

Pretty good!
The episodes are a little long. I feel like it’s a little too much to go through the episodes scene for scene like you do. And I could do without the too much shirts segment. I just want to hear about your experiences. But other than that, love it!

Pure nostalgic joy
I absolutely love this podcast! It’s not only great for nostalgic reasons but it’s a super interesting glimpse into how tv shows are made and what it’s like to be a child actor! I’m hooked!! Also love Rider Strong and his son when they discuss the episodes. “Oh, I gotta save Lois Lane! I’ve got a square head! I’m Superman!” Classic.

This is absolutely awesome! I was a huge fan of Boy Meets World growing up in the 90s, and have since rewatched the series several times. Best of all, my 9 year old son is going on his 2nd time around himself! Thank you Danielle, Will and Ryder for bringing us into the world we always wanted to be a part of. Wish I could hear the perspective from Ben but you guys are all so great! Looking forward to rewatching all 7 seasons with you guys and hearing you discuss.

It’s definitely the side yard
I feel like a kid on Friday night in the ‘90’s waiting for the podcasts to drop. “It’s Friday night and the mood is right! Gonna have some fun show you how it’s done TGIF!” Iykyk As a child I loved this show and I expected the podcast to be a trip down memory lane. How surprising to view the show from such a different perspective now that I’m a parent. Listening to the cast describe their experiences makes me realize how wonderful family television in the ‘90’s was. How lucky I was to have grown up alongside these people and to now reflect on this wonderful show and share it with my child. Perhaps we can get a new show going…parents meet world. Where we try to remember what it’s like to be a kid yet navigate the treacherous world of parenting! Thanks for getting the gang together. Great podcast and the only one I listen to as soon as it drops each week!

Really enjoying this podcast. It has been great to rewatch the episodes and hear all the behind the scenes info from Rider, Danielle, and Will. I think it adds a lot of depth since all three hosts have a lot of varied experience in TV and film (directing, writing, acting, voice acting). I worked on Boy Meets World
I started out my career as an extra and worked on 50 or so episodes. I played a student, chubbie’s customer, pizza delivery boy, etc…Everyone on the show from the cast to the crew was awesome. I eventually made my way into acting and now direct indie films but this was and still is one of my best memories. If you ever want the extra’s perspective I’ll be there any time.

- Blake Clark Meets WorldOne of the most recognizable faces on Boy Meets World might not immediately come to mind when thinking of the show, but on this week’s episode, the gang will remind you that guest Blake Clark, a.k.a. Chet Hunter, is absolutely a Hollywood legend. Beyond appearing in a dozen or so Adam Sandler movies (Waterboy, anyone?), at one point in the ‘90s, Blake appeared on a new ABC sitcom every night of the week. From his time in the military to breaking into the business as a stand-up amongst Robin Williams and David Spade, Blake’s hilarious stories about his time as Shawn’s problematic father (and haunting ghost) make this one unforgettable trip down memory lane. - TGI - Episode 211 “The Beard”Our hosts sit down to recap “The Beard,” an episode that follows Shawn’s madcap attempt at basically dating two women at once. And while they analyze the madness, Danielle wonders if it’s finally time to talk to a very important person in her life, even if that person doesn’t know that she is. And Rider recalls meeting a life-long friend while taping this episode, then buying a Blind Melon CD in Burbank before seeing Quiz Show. Plus, Will, Rider and Danielle are going on the road to meet some fans! And you’re invited. Find out how you can meet the gang (especially if you know good places to eat in Richmond). - TGI - Episode 209 “Fear Strikes Out”A romantic and steamy episode makes for quite a hot podcast as the gang recaps episode 9 of Season 2, “Fear Strikes Out.” We find out Rider likes Knott’s Berry Farm much more than his wardrobe vest, and Danielle explains what “rizz” is to her Gen X co-hosts. And although they wonder why Cory is so scared to kiss someone he’s already kissed, they do figure out why this new coffee shop looks so familiar. What happened at that fateful table read and why why was he replaced on the show? How similar was Danny to his character and how is he doing now? - TGI - Episode 206 “ Who's Afraid of Cory Wolf?”It’s time to face one of the most divisive moments in BMW history: a metaphorical wacky romp where Cory becomes…a werewolf.
