Horror Master Deep Cuts: Eyes of Laura Mars (1978)

Don't you just hate it when you're going about your day and suddenly, you're plagued by visions of murder and death. Ughh, what a hassle! Join your horror hosts Kim & Jon as they dig into some deep cuts from a few of your favorite Masters of Horror. On this week's episode of Nightmare on Film Street, we're shifting our focus and zooming in for a closer look at the late 70s American Giallo Eyes of Laura Mars . This gritty and provocative murder mystery may be directed by Irvin Kershner but it was also written by none other than Joh Carpenter. It's a fun, funny conversation about the fear in Faye Dunaway's eyes, the confused motivations of a maniac killer...and about how damn cool Brad Dourif looks in bellbottom jeans! Join ussss....

The part where he mentions that he wants to be adopted by a more functional family even at 45 yrs really hits home. Really delineates how no matter how old and independent you are, you still need love and support.
