melissa’s meditations have completely changed my life. her nonjudgmental, calm, realistic, inspiring energy shines through in all her platforms. the only episode i haven’t loved so far is the bossnick one bc they came across (to me) as so entitled when talking about how people shouldn’t apologize for things. the only other thing that sometimes bugs me is when melissa equates expensive products and appointments with ‘doing the work’—like going to an expensive spa for self care or ‘committing to the practice’ of regular acupuncture appointments. i have to take regular breaks from her IG bc I find it triggering (her perfect skin, body, all the stuff she can afford)—which is my work to do! she also is always advertising supplements and products that are expensive which can get me in a real scarcity mindset, wishing I could buy all the stuff she does bc it looks so cool. spirituality shouldn’t have to be about material things right!? HOWEVER I keep coming back bc ultimately, I love WHO she is + her energy + mission. 5 stars bc—despite things I find triggering or materialistic—she has changed my life and is positively impacting so many others. big fan of her app! thank you for keeping it so affordable.

I can’t express enough how much you have impacted my life. I first discovered you as a guest other podcasts about 2 years ago and the second I heard your voice I hoping and praying you would start a podcast! You have been the perfect inspiration of who I want to strive to become as a woman and every single episode has helped me with my confidence, and discovering my truest self. The alcohol episode in particular was incredible and it’s so refreshing to hear your vulnerability around alcohol and the internal and social struggles that come with deciding you have a problem. I quit drinking a few weeks ago because of almost the exact same reasons as you: I’ve been in the process of healing my anxiety and depression and alcohol was the one thing obviously setting me back and was impossible to ignore now that I am more in-tune with my mind and body. Long story short lol this episode made me feel so seen as a young person who doesn’t know anyone else who is sober and I know it will help so many people who are battling with the same decision to take a break. Thank you so so much!!

Breathing Loud
Hi Melissa, I adore you and love everything you do but there is this loud breathing sound that you make into the mic and it triggers me and makes me anxious (I have asthma and I correlate that sound with not being able to breath) . I wish there was a way your mic filtered that out because I love listening to your podcasts but it keeps triggering me.

Omg I’m hooked!
Literally every episode has been soul filling! It’s the snack lunch the whole meal full of flavor and goodness. Melissa is so inspiring and I just have to shout out Ep 6 right now with Simon (just listened to it) - wow! I cracked up when he said unanswered emails get him out of bed in the morning - LOL. I was instantly drawn to Melissa on IG bc she is so down to earth and authentic even though she clearly lives a lavish life. There was something about her that was gritty and so real. Now that I heard her story, it’s no wonder she worked hard to have the life she lives. What I got the most was a look inside my own story. She helped me realize that I too grew up feeling ashamed of my parents and my circumstances growing up. That because of my high expectations I needed to hide any vulnerability or imperfection. It’s still something I have to come to grips with and I’m inspired to go deeper after hearing your story Melissa. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. This was the mirror I needed to really see myself.

Absolutely Amazing ❤️
I have been doing Melissa’s workouts and following her on Instagram for years. I have listened and relistened when she has been a guest on other people’s Podcasts. I’m soooooo happy she has one of her own now! Episode one was so amazing. I love how she is personal and vulnerable. It brought me to tears. - Life With No AlcoholIn this episode, Melissa opens up about her past relationship with alcohol and shares her journey to realizing that drinking was no longer serving her. She reflects on her decision to not drink for 30 days leading up to the launch of the MWH app in 2019, and how that decision has now become a life without alcohol for over 2 years. A pivotal moment for Melissa happened in her 20s when an honest friend opened up to her about the person that she would become when she was drinking. It was then that she discovered that she wanted to have a different relationship with alcohol. Melissa tells us how she recognized that drinking was not adding value to her life and gives us advice on how we can all look inward and take inventory on our own lives. Melissa also discusses the impact social pressures can have on our choices and how she was able to overcome these pressures. And she shares her tips for going out and still enjoying yourself without feeling the need to drink.
