Love Mindfully Moody!
So glad to have found this podcast and am so excited for the next ep. Listening to mindfully moody makes you feel like you’re hanging out with friends who want the best for you in life, share ideas & experience, and promote positivity & embracing your true self. Sarah and Hannah are super relatable and I’ve felt a little more inspired to be the best version of myself after every listen. Need more of this in my life!

Staying Mindfully Moody!
What I find great about Mindfully Moody is the real-world examples that Hannah and Sara give that show us that they are human too. I feel like a lot of podcast hosts talk about intentions and trauma and walls in a way where it’s almost like they are explaining it to us but never lived it, but with this podcast I feel like I am taking this journey WITH the hosts. They are trying to reach goals along side their audience and I have a feeling future listens will be more focused on us holding each other accountable as opposed to them holding their listeners accountable. I also like the realistic themes of the podcast that make me feel like my goals are actually attainable!

- Chakra Harmony: balancing your energy centersIf you’re curious about energy work and the chakra system, this episode is for you! This episode is dedicated to exploring the fascinating world of the chakra system. Join us as we embark on a transformative journey to understand and unlock the power of these vital energy centers within ourselves. As we’ve both been on our spiritual journeys, energy work has been something that both of us have experienced profound transformations with. ~ENERGY IS EVERYTHING~ and learning more about how our energy flows and how to master your energetic body may be just as transformative for you as it was for us. In this episode, we dive into the ancient wisdom of the chakra system, an intricate network of seven main energy centers located along the spine. We explore the unique qualities and attributes of each chakra, from the foundational root chakra to the ethereal crown chakra: ~ROOT CHAKRA~ at the base of your spine, red color. Your root chakra is your connection to your physical body, your literal ROOT to the earth. Our favorite exercise to balance this chakra is to practice grounding: go outside, take off your shoes, and place your bare feet on the grass/sand/forest floor/etc. This exercise will help you feel more balanced, grounded, and connected to yourself and Mother Earth. ~SACRAL CHAKRA~ below your belly button, orange color. Your sacral chakra is your connection to your divine feminine and masculine and your creativity. Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: dancing (ecstatic dance is amazing!) and allowing energy to get unstuck and flow through your body and connecting to your creative side. ~SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA~ right above your belly button, yellow color. Your solar plexus chakra is your POWER, your confidence, your fire! Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: ~HEART CHAKRA~ your heart space, green color. Your heart chakra is the bridge between your lower chakras (root, sacral, and solar plexus) and your spiritual chakras (throat, third eye, and crown). Your heart chakra is full of unconditional love, when your heart chakra is balanced, you’re about to live leading with love vs. fear. Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: ~THROAT CHAKRA~ at your throat, blue color. Your throat chakra is your authenticity, the ability to speak YOUR TRUTH! Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: voice activation (even if you think you’re not a great singer, that is okay!) to move energy through the body and authentic conversations with yourself and others. ~THIRD EYE CHAKRA~ in between your eyebrows, indigo color. Your third eye chakra is your intuition, your inner knowing, the little voice in your head with no doubt. Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: ~CROWN CHAKRA~ above your head, almost like a halo, purple or white color. Your crown chakra is your connection to the DIVINE! God, source, the universe, your highest self. Your crown chakra is like a portal to the magical spiritual world, ready to guide you. Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: meditation, calling in the support of your highest self, God, and/or your guides and breath work, which helps you clear stuck energy and get connected to your highest self. - Navigating evolving friendships as an adultFriendships are a vital component of human happiness and well-being. They provide us with support, companionship, and a sense of belonging. They help us through difficult times, celebrate our successes, and enrich our lives in countless ways. Having friends that are DOWN FOR YOU is one of the best, sweetest experiences. We talk about so much in this episode: how friendships evolve over time, potentially releasing relationships that are no longer serving us, our relationships impact how we show up, how to make new, aligned friendships that bring you joy, and so much more. Friendships also play a critical role in our physical and mental health. Research has shown that people with strong social connections have better immune systems, lower rates of depression and anxiety, and are even more likely to live longer. One of the challenging things about friendships is that they are dynamic relationships that can change and evolve over time. As we grow and change as individuals, so do our friendships. Some friendships may become stronger and deeper, while others may fade away. AND THAT IS OKAY! We may have soul contracts with different friends throughout our life, people who are meant to teach us certain lessons. Soul contracts are a spiritual belief that suggests that before we are born, our souls make agreements or contracts with other souls to play specific roles in our lives. These agreements are said to be made with the purpose of learning important lessons, helping each other grow and evolve, and ultimately fulfilling our life's purpose. If you're feeling like your journey with a friend may be ending, try monitoring your energy when with and after leaving a friend and also evaluate how you're showing up. Are you giving love and compassion? Or are you giving a different kind of energy? Monitoring your energy with other people involves being aware of how your interactions with others impact your emotional and physical well-being. - Shifting our relationships with alcoholOur energy is buzzing for this episode because we recorded IN PERSON! Go tune in on YouTube to see our beautiful faces! *Trigger warning* we're talking about drinking, including details of some of our past experiences. We've both shifted our relationship with drinking significantly over the past few years. This shift has opened up so much for both of us. It has transformed our lives, opened our minds and hearts, gave us the space to find our authentic selves and to have new experiences. Just like so many people, we were using alcohol to express our ourselves, to push past our anxiety, and to have fun. Now, we've redefined our definition of "fun". - Transform Your Mindset From Lack to AbundanceTransforming the mindset from scarcity to abundance can be a challenging task, but it is essential for personal growth and success. Scarcity mentality is a mindset that believes there is never enough and that resources are limited. However, the abundance mentality believes that there is always enough and that opportunities are limitless. To transform the mindset from scarcity to abundance, one must start by recognizing their current mindset. Self-awareness is crucial to identifying limiting beliefs and thought patterns. One must understand that scarcity is a limiting mindset that prevents growth and success. It creates fear and anxiety, making it difficult to take risks and seize opportunities. Once the scarcity mindset is recognized, one must begin shifting their thoughts and beliefs. This can be done through positive affirmations, visualization, and practicing gratitude. Focusing on abundance and being thankful for what one has can help shift the mindset towards an abundance mentality. It is also important to let go of the fear of failure and embrace opportunities. The abundance mindset understands that failure is a part of the journey and that it is necessary for growth and learning. It is essential to embrace challenges and be willing to take risks to achieve success. Lastly, one must surround themselves with a positive and supportive community. Being around people who share the same mindset and beliefs can help reinforce the abundance mentality and inspire personal growth. In conclusion, transforming the mindset from scarcity to abundance is crucial for personal growth and success. It requires self-awareness, positivity, gratitude, and a willingness to take risks. - Use your emotions as information and release thoughts that do not serve youIf you frequently get *stuck in your head*, struggle to separate yourself from your thoughts and emotions, and/or want to shift out of your old patterns of turning your thoughts into your emotions, your emotions into your identity- THIS EPISODE IS FOR YOU! The awareness that *we are not our thoughts* has been one of the most powerful shifts in both of our lives. If you’ve been listening to Mindfully Moody for awhile, you know that we love to talk about the voice in our heads, the ego, the subconscious mind, and how to use your thoughts and emotions to propel yourself forward vs. running in place. In this episode, we share so many nuggets of wisdom on our thoughts, emotions, and the subsequent actions we take or don’t take because of them. Some highlights: You are not your thoughts! The voice in your head, your narrator, your inner dialogue- you don’t have to identify with every thought that pops in. You have the authority and the permission to allow thoughts to pass. Rather than identifying with your thoughts, the real power is in *becoming the observer of your thoughts*. You can have a thought arise in your head around a situation or event taking place in your life. Then you can acknowledge that thought, as the observer vs. as the person attaching to the thought and turning it into an emotion, or even allowing it to become a part of your identity. Use your emotions as information! You can use your emotions to help you understand what you may have to heal in your life. Let’s say you consistently are getting triggered by something in your life. Use that as information! Reverse engineer it. Where did it originate from? You do not have to repeat the same habits and patterns just because it’s the way you “used to react.” We are spiritual beings who are meant to evolve throughout our precious time on this earth. Give yourself the permission to do things in a new way, prioritizing your own inner peace and self-love. When you identify with your thoughts and then they become your emotions, they may be holding you back from taking action for the life you want to live! Grow awareness of this. Practice releasing the thoughts and emotions that are no longer serving you. You deserve to live in peace. We hope you loved this episode. - How to let go and surrenderWhen you're struggling with something, it can be tempting to try and control it, to try and force it to work out the way you want it to. But that never works out well—and it's especially unhealthy when the thing you're trying to control is a situation that is out of your hands. Surrendering to your hard times might sound like giving up or backing down, but actually it's about letting go of your attachment to how things should be and opening yourself up to new possibilities. You may not see any way out of your situation right now, but there's always hope! Surrender is the ability for you to trust in source, that what's meant for you will be. Surrendering is not a bad thing, though. It's actually a relief—and one that we can all use more often than we think. When you have to let go of something, it's not always easy. You might feel like you're losing control, and that can be scary. But here's the thing: we can't control everything in our lives. Sometimes, we just have to surrender to what's happening around us, and move forward with trust and hope. Think of something you've been struggling with that is out of your control. We may be showing up with with our shadows at the forefront, with doubt, with the inability to be vulnerable. Through this episode we take you through our 10 tips: Get really freaking clear on what you're looking for! What are your desires? What are your non-negotiables? Do you want something long-term, are you looking to have fun? Write it down and come back to it. Ditch perfectionism. So many of us show up with perfectionism when dating, but if you're trying to be perfect, you aren't showing up as your authentic self. So what's the point? Become an energetic match to your desired partner. Of course you don't want to change yourself for your partner. This is about connecting to your highest self to ensure that what you're seeking in a partner, you are. If you're seeking some vulnerable and connected to their emotions- are you? Take action! You must go to places that your ideal partner could be. Get out into the real world to build connection in places that you enjoy. Open your energy. This one is so, so important. Channel that magnetic magic baby, open your energy to receiving! As humans we are attracted and drawn to the energy of others. Pay attention to who you're attracting and if it's not in alignment with your intentions, explore how you can shift your energy. Release what no longer serves you. Your situationships, your ex that keeps coming back in your life, the crush you've had that hasn't turned into anything. To welcome in your aligned partnership, you must release relationships that are not aligned with the things you desire. Let your authentic self shine! Our favorite tip in every topic we talk about. If the people you're dating don't like the real you, that is completely okay! You want to be with someone who connects to your authentic self! Don't fake being someone else to trick them into liking you. Switch up the types of dates you're going on. Rather than going to drinks and dinner, try the activities that bring out your passion! Decide what your boundaries are with intimacy. This is going to vary from person to person. Goes back to getting clear on what you want. One of the hardest tips of all...don't overanalyze! Be present, enjoy the moment. You can be aware of red flags of course, but also be aware of how much you're overanalyzing. Dating is meant to be fun! Sometimes this means not jumping to say something immediately, since you may be reacting with your ego vs. your heart- Something I used to do all the time Be Vulnerable and Honest. Share how you really feel. Open your heart with love and freely share with your partner. Giving your full attention, always speaking face to face about anything that feels important. It is so important to feel heard and seen by your partner. Normal to have arguments- find what works best for you. Always remember that you are on the same team and you may need time alone to have space. Remembering your partner is human- we make mistakes, we say things we don’t mean. Your partner cannot read your mind, even when you wish they could. Don’t let things build up, it causes more resentment and you’re more likely to have a big reaction. Of course this is easier said than done, since the world we live in puts so many expectations on us to fit into a tiny little perfect box, tied with a beautiful bow. Reality is, we don't all fit into a box, and that's completely okay. You deserve to live your authenticity, to shine like the beautiful bright light that you are. Maybe you have fear on showing up as your authentic self to your family, at work, to your friends, or even to your partner. So many people experience this for various reasons- things you learned in childhood, not being accepted by others when you do live in your truth and authenticity, or even your own inner shame. In this episode, we give you 5 tips on how to be your authentic self. The deepest, most aligned version of yourself, who you are when no one is watching. This episode is quick, aimed to give you guidance that you can start putting into practice immediately. Our five tips are: Get to know yourself, the most authentic version of yourself. Who are you? What do you like? How do you want to show up? How would you live your life if you weren't held back by self-doubt, perfectionism, or people pleasing? Releasing the blocks that keep you striving to live in that tidy little box, the blocks that hold you back from living your authenticity. Why don't you live your life the way that you want to? Did someone tell you that you can't live as your true self? It's not their choice how you live. Release it. Did society make you believe that you cannot express yourself? Screw society, you're a unique butterfly, spread your wings! Release it. Listen to your inner voice, the voice that is there when you quiet the rest of the chatter.
