A pair of notable shareholder votes taking place today. First at Amazon's annual shareholder meeting with a resolution. With some investors backing calls on the company to consider appointing an hourly worker to its board of directors. Amazon. Opposes the resolution. Also a hedge fund is trying to get a dissident slate of directors with a track record of addressing climate, change concerns on to Exxon mobil's board. That effort has the backing of some major investor.
