Life changing
Every homeschool parent needs this. I will be recommending it to others moving forward and trying this for teaching reading with my fifth and sixth kiddos. The tips are so simple anyone can use them and yet so powerful. This is exactly what I’ve been searching for and I’m so grateful to have found it. I’m bringing her lectures at the moment. 😊

So helpful and uplifting
I have been listening to this podcast for awhile and have gotten so much out of every single episode I listen to! Thank you so much for all the heart that I can tell you both put into it. I appreciate that you’re not afraid to talk about difficult things. Every time I listen I feel so encouraged in my own journey as a homeschooler, a mother, a homemaker and a Christian. And I have learned so many good and helpful things. Thank you!!

Feels like the advice we need from friends/family
I so value the content of this show. I was always interested in homeschooling, but not sure I could do it or if it was the right step for my family... for better or worse we decided to try for my son’s first grade year (during this pandemic). I’m still discerning what I will do for next year, but the advice here makes me feel that I could handle something that was really intimidating at first.

I love listening to Bonnie’s beautiful wisdom and insight. Her conversations with Elizabeth feel as though I’m sitting in my living room, chatting along with them! New to the homeschooling world, it’s been a joy to hear these two lovely ladies discuss many areas of the homeschooling journey. Thank you!!

- Why We Kiss Under the Mistletoe: a new book and Christmas traditions in our family lifeThis is coming out as a supplementary episode because you are probably gonna want this book after listening and you need it before Christmas... I talk with the cocktail man, Michael Foley once again, ultimately, about joy. His new book Why We Kiss Under the Mistletoe” is so much more than a book about Christmas traditions. We can learn history through Christmas traditions (rock that Christmas unit study…), and create deepen family bonds by sharing these traditions with our children. We talk about why we, as a culture, love Christmas and ways to attain cozy in your family. Michael shares how to approach developing Christmas traditions in your own home with joy and fun. He reveals how we can capitalize on the “culture of merriment” and that idea alone is worth the book. https://drinkingwiththesaints.com/ https://www.amazon.com/Why-Kiss-under-Mistletoe-Traditions/dp/1684512417/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1J8Q7FVHLSNBG&keywords=why+we+kiss+under+the+mistletoe+book&qid=1670093984&sprefix=why+we+kiss+under+the+%2Caps%2C136&sr=8-1 Contact On Instagram at @make.joy.normal On Facebook at Homeschoolers: make JOY normal By email at questionsmakejoynormal@gmail.com or by voicemail Thanks for listening to Make Joy Normal Podcast!0 comments0
