Rita Coolidge and a One Hit Wonder

Hey guys, it's alright and today I'm going to give you a podcast on Rita Coolidge.
Let's get started Rita, Coolidge was born in Tennessee, she was part. Cherokee Indian she first thing at church where her father was a minister. She went to Florida State University and she study dark, but she also wrote songs and thing on the side, she moved to Memphis after graduation and work singing commercial Jingles. Finally, she landed her own solo contract with A and M record.
In 1971, she released her debut album but a bomb over the next few years. She did a little country and a little country rock and Southern California. Soft rock in 1973, she married Kris Kristofferson and they recorded a duet album titled. Boom! Boom! It topped the country charts and even won a Grammy.
But finally, she went on her own and she released the album anytime anywhere. And that had three hits. One Was Your Love. Has Lifted Me. It went number two on the pop chart and here it is.
I absolutely loved this song.

She parted ways with an m and devoted herself to social causes, then she recorded a few more albums that didn't do well. But as of now, she is actually, I'm sure for 2021 in 2022, which I think would probably be a decent concert.
