Shhhhh
Why is everyone talking In the background while a reading is happening? It's very distracting. I was on my bike while listening. I must have missed this was happening in a book store.

Love this one!
LITerally Podcast is a great listen -- interesting and insightful without taking itself too seriously (i.e. I laugh a lot as I listen). Perfect for avid readers or writers, this podcast hasn't disappointed me yet.

Author
This aptly named podcasts appeals to the creator in us all. Insightful and with just enough humor to counter the stuffiness of serious smarts, Kase allows listeners an insight into work-a-day writers, poets and more.

One of the more insightful podcasts I know
Defintely worth listening to if you have ever dreamed about writing "that" novel, or even just poetry or short prose. These podcasts talk about the nuts and bolts of writing, why you do the things you do and what to do next. Full of good information from real people who are passionate about their craft, but also don't take themselves too seriously. All are used to and can handle rejection, and being so open about their experiences makes you feel like you are sitting in a room with a friend. I highly recommend.

Writers take note!
Kase is such a great interviewer, his questions so big-hearted, and his style so natural it clearly brings out the best in his guests. What a great resource for budding writers, as well as established authors who enjoy the conversation of what a writing life means, which, with Kase, is always enlightening and a joy.

Literally Varietally
Nice variety of voices and visions in this podcast, some delightful surprises and some shocking ones too. Kase has a knack for helping writers relax into the conversation, his questions getting more enticing as the interview goes on, blending humor and laughter with discussions of craft and of how writers apply their work to life's most difficult intersections. I love the varied perspectives, the ease of riding along with Kase and Crew. Good stuff.

Yummy.
Tastes like beef enchiladas with a Tequilla chaser, for your ears. Filling with a bit of a kick. An insightful look into the writing process, the struggles of publishing, and author choices. One thing I learned from listening to multiple episodes is the only common theme between successful authors is that they're all willing to put in the work and deal with rejection. How they develop stories, shape poems, and make decisions throughout the writing process are all different. Interesting stuff. Love the insight! Keep up the great work, guys!

So grab a bourbon and sip along with us. This selection was loved by the hosts. Tune in to find out why. Cheers!0 comments0

Otherwise, smooth livestream and podcast. Enjoy!0 comments0
- LITerally Ep. 51 - Utah Poet Laureate Paisley Rekdal, APPROPRIATESometimes, it's just best to sit back, listen, and learn. Going into my interview with Paisley Rekdal, that was my plan, and I'm happy I stuck (mostly) to it because there's no reason to mess up a good hour of great, researched insight with my fumbling. So fortunate to have Utah's Poet Laureate and author of APPROPRIATE (and many, many other books of poetry and nonfiction) on LITerally. - Kase0 comments0
