It would help me out tremendously, but you're getting benefit from that. I would just ask that you would take time to do that. I just get into this week's podcast meet is under attack meat is under attack. Now, let's clear something up really quick before we start this. All right. I'm not looking to get political with this podcast. I don't bring politics into this podcast. I don't bring it into the Facebook group. What's your? Political beliefs are are yours, but my political beliefs are are mine. And that's not what we're here to talk about today. Okay. There's no place for it here. No place for it on the Facebook, Facebook group, but there are people that want to eliminate meat from our diets.
They want to eliminate meet, they want. They want us to quit eating meat and meat is such a big part of a keto lifestyle. Not always, you could do a vegetarian keto, you absolutely can do that. But for most of us including me
I eat a lot of meat now. There's a myth that methane gas from cows. Somehow leads to global warming. I do not believe that, I just don't and again, not being political. That's just my personal belief, if you believe it does fantastic, that's fantastic. And it's okay for all of us to have our own beliefs and there's a myth that red meat causes cancer and cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. When in fact, all those things are caused by the rat poison Sugar. Sugar causes cancer cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, but they want to eliminate meat
Okay, because the sugar companies, the car companies have their hands in their buddies pocket and they want this big food just pushes their agenda so so hard and they can't be the bad guys. They can't, they can't be the ones who were vilified and said, oh, it's it's sugar. It's carbs. It's that oatmeal. It is, it really is. It's it's all that rat poison is just bad for you. Some people just want to eliminate it for tax. It's so heavily that we can't afford it.
And that's not right. That's not right. Now. If you want to eat sugar and carbs and sodas and ice cream. That's your business.
I don't care what you do you do you because it doesn't matter to me. That's, that's your life. If somebody wants to do it. That's your life. You go eat what you want if you want to eat meat and fish and vegetables and you want to go that way, that's great. You go do that. If you just wanted to be a vegetarian or vegan, fantastic, go do that. That's your life. I'm happy for you. If that's what makes you happy, but I have a way that I like to eat and I don't want to see it come under attack. I just really don't because I'm a tell you something. In my opinion. Just nothing better than a good ribeye. So,
Keto is largely a meat-based diet? Again. You can do keto as a vegetarian. We also eat cheese which comes from the milk of cows and goats.
Now, they're really pushing hard for these fake meat products.
I'm there everywhere. There are coming out and it just left and right fake meat and it's just something I don't understand.
I've had some of these. Send me, tell you something. That tastes horrible. They're absolutely nasty. They're made of chemicals. And for some reason, it is keep pushing this junk. I don't understand why they want us to eat chemicals. Why would you want to eat chemicals? Now, if you like fake, fake me? Well, then I'd say, go ahead and enjoy. I mean, they put, they put beet juice in the stuff to simulate blood.
I understand flabbergasted by it.
But I would have truly would restart. You just to go eat the real thing. If you're, if you're going to eat fake me, not to have a meat allergy, cuz there's a, there's a meat allergy and get from a tick bite and you can't eat beef anymore. And so if fake meat get you through that wall while your body heals from it and you like it and maybe that's maybe that's the way to do it. I didn't even think about that. But that's something that you I need to do. Then that's what you do, but it's important to our lifestyle.
To fight back on this issue.
You really is. If you don't want your meat taken from you, you need to. You need not allow this to happen.
And I'm not sure how we fight back from that. I really don't know if you call your Congressman, or whoever or whatever. And again, I'm not getting political on this, your beliefs of your beliefs. My beliefs are my beliefs, and then we can all get along because that's how I do my life. So,
This not only impacts us but it impacts the ranchers. So if you're buying meat and you get a chance that you can find someplace local to buy your meat from that is great because you know, the source and knowing the source of your meat is huge and I live in Missouri and I have the opportunity to see a lot of ranches, a lot of farmland and I lived out in the country for a lot of years.
27 years out in the country. It's great. It's great to see these if it's peaceful out there and these people needs your support, especially if you're eating meat, if we're buying meat from Argentina, that doesn't help people here. So if you can or if you live in Argentina, that's great. I know that I talk a lot because I'm based in, in the United States and I have blisters all over the world. So if you have, if you have a local Source, if if you're in Spain and you have a local source of meat or if you're in England, in the other local source of eat or if you're in Ireland or wherever you're at your local source of meat, that's the best place to buy it. So I can see if you're in England. You shouldn't be buying meat from the United States issue, buying meat from England. And so, that's what we need to be supporting her own, you know, support support your local people. Who, who do these things?
because there is a lot of work, they put a lot of work in that make us some great, great meat and
So if you know your Source, the meats just better, but if we have to go without meat we will never get to where we want to be with our health.
Now, you can be, you can be vegetarian and be Q. So, I've said that before but it's easier if you're eating meat it because that
That meat is the best source of fat. It's the best source of fat butter cheese, are ribeye. Those are great sources of fat, for our body. And that, that, that is what we need. That's what our ancestors ate, and that's what we need to be eating. And so, it's really where we wanted to come from. You just have to
Just have to.
Keep letting people know that you want it because meet shouldn't come under attack vegetable, shouldn't come under attack. You know, they're not Banning rat poison and up Banning sugar. You don't see him saying or we're not going to make Snickers anymore or Doritos. They don't do that.
Because that's a big food and big food. Want you to eat what they want to give you. And that's how they do it. So just keep buying your meat and I think you'll see the difference. I expect meat prices to go up. So she here in United States. I expect meat prices to go up and that's going to be unfortunate. But I'm going to continue to eat it. I'm going to continue to do it and while you this much, as I once did, or do now probably not and I may have to choose different cuts of meat and add more butter into my meet to get, you know, better fat. I never do understand why lie nor cuts of meat cost more than fat ear cuts of meat. That's what you want. That is flavor. And so,
That's just me. But anyway, that's going to be our chauffeur today. It's going to be our episode. So I hope you enjoy it and don't let him take away with you enjoy because we that's not what we want. So, until next week. I hope you guys have a great week this week until next week. Remember to keep it Keto.
