Lame and dumb
Annoying man boys that think they are soooo funny. Good cringe factor if you’re into that. For an actually funny show on this network head on over to the Greatest Generation or The Greatest Trek.

Great.
Great guests and the chemistry of long time friends Jordan and Jesse make this show very funny. Never takes itself too seriously, often strays into the gutter, but in a way that doesn't make you feel bad about yourself for listening. Great work, and keep it up!

Love the show. Jesse, wear a bandana under your dad hat and it will absorb the sweat. It’s what bandanas are for, aside from signaling sexual preference and gang allegiances. Again, love the show.

Hilarious, dumb, and also hilarious
I love this show. Jordan Morris is constantly funny, and Jesse has a unique combination of characteristics: he is both wise and terrifically dumb. Their chemistry is wonderful and they typically have fabulous guests. In fact, they’ve exposed me to lots of great comedians and writers over the years.

Trevor Moore…
Found your show in my celebration of Trevor Moore. I need humor in my life but I am very picky with my comedy. WKUK skits never get old for me. I pull them up for pretty much every person I meet. And I think I’ve found a new podcast for me. Thank you for providing and thank you Trevor for taking me here. 💜

Love me some (i.e. eps with ppl Ive actually heard of) JJGO. Great show, a rollicking conversation. A little hard to get into immediately, takes a few to truly fall in love. In a lot of ways JJGO is so much like Hollywood Handbook - just like the undisputed Best

Good but...
Oh my god, I'm not sure, but ever single time I've listened to an episode it is "Maximum Fun Fund Drive" time! Jeez. And these "fund drive" breaks are 5 to 8 minutes long. And there are like 4 to 5 breaks for a single episode. This isn't a podcast to turn on and do my thing because I am constantly having to stop to fast forward through all these terrribly annoying breaks. I also feel that Jessie Thorn has jumped the shark with the "I'm a hipster" look with his shaved head and giant unkempt beard to "I'm a inmate at Broadmoor and am spending my days looking for the first use of a word in the old books on my shelf".

I don’t always listen to JJGo.
I’m usually more a news junkie. But when the world grows oppressive and I just can’t even and just need a laugh, I turn to Jordan Jesse Go. The humor may or may not be to your taste. But I think the appeal of the show boils down to two things. 1. They’re nice guys and they try to keep the humor positive (even the potty humor). 2. The show is hosted by a skilled radio host. He knows how to keep the show moving. Anyway, listen to this if you need some silly wiener jokes to get you through your day.

“Born Pregnant...” Ep 669
Not what we need right now. Jan 2, 2020. High anxiety. Anticipating PB violence. Jesse You took podcast time to tell us about the difficulty and pain of losing your Father last year. Very hard time which a lot of us have experienced and, at least I for one shared your sorrow and cried along with you. Losing a parent (and I’ve lost both) is like having the earth fall away from under your feet. I know. Right now right thinking sane people are watching the monster in the White House tear apart our democracy and destroying the country we love while everyday thousands of Americans die horribly and alone because of the out of control and terrifying pandemic. The numbers of dead would fill to capacity ten ballparks. We are hurting. We are in pain. We need encouragement and at the least some gentle, soothing humor. Where is our help to come from? You live in the tire fire that is Los Angeles in the pandemic; the worst place to be in the whole world. Where ambulance drivers are told not to transport people who look like they will die. And instead of being role models you mock Dr Fauci. Listen to Stop Podcasting Yourself or the Flophouse or YLNT California King. They know how to be funny in these horrible times AND offer their bumpers encouragement .

After ripping through My Brother, My Brother and Me I needed something new to fill my week. So I decided to try some other MaxFun podcasts and this was the 1st I gave a listen to and I’m glad I did. Joy, Absurdity and Humor in Tough Times
I’ve been listening to JJGO for five years and they have been consistently awesome. The most recent episode with Elliot From The Flop House (also awesome) really brought be happiness during isolation and I am so thankful to these goofballs for their antics that have brought me laughter in hard times. Is it weird and hard to explain how it all fits together and works as a cohesive piece? Very much so. The alchemy of turning all the nonsense into pure goodness is astounding. Jesse Thorn is phenomenal on his serious(er) interview podcast Bullseye and engages with such depth and knowledge with his guests. Jordan’s fiction podcast is awesome and the end point of our modern society in the best way on Bubble. Incredible work by the whole cast there. Anyway, the entire Max Fun Family has brought be such incredible glee and it is worth listening to any of their podcasts, even if the subject matter isn’t your jam, the hosts elevate the shows beyond their topic.

So fun - I love these guys!
I started listening last Spring and I started with episode 1 - I am currently on Episode 460. I took an 8000 mile road trip this summer and that helped me listen to so many episodes. When I listen on the plane (I travel almost every week) other passengers look at me curiously as it is inevitable that I will laugh out loud. So fun. Thank you so much for your dedication to giving us this gift of laughter.

JJGO is a super enjoyable listen. I came across Jordan Morris through his appearances on Good Mythical Morning and saw recommendations in the comment section to listen to this podcast. Jordan and Jesse are hilarious and their guests are always great. I’ve begun working my way backwards into the archive and it’s great finding the origins of inside jokes that made no sense in the first few episodes I listened to. I discovered this podcast from a friend’s podcast list. That day, on the way home, picked an episode at random. As a child I was always rather confused as to why my parents would listen to people talk and be weird on the radio. Now that I'm older I realize the reason why they did so was because it's great. Now, they didn't listen to JJGo but the point is... listen to a couple weirdos talk for an hour and enjoy yourself. Jordan, Jesse, Great
I stumbled on JJGO several years ago and I’ve never looked back. I went through the whole back catalog in a few months and have never missed an episode since. It’s silly and sometimes heartwarming, and their jokes cheer me up on my long commute. What’s the show about? Two guys talking about whatever, with a guest comedian thrown in. They’re self-deprecating a lot of the time, but it is a great show if you like to laugh at dumb things.

JJGO is my favorite podcast I’ve ever listened to, and I’ve listened to a lot. Every Monday (or Tuesday as of these days) it is without fail the highlight of my morning. You guys, you need this show in your life. I have listened to every one of the over 500 episodes, I proposed to my fiancé on its 'air', and he accepted in a following episode - it's pretty special stuff. (Read: this is about the highest compliment we can pay it, not that you should listen just because we love it.) This podcast is the best combination of totally dumb and aimless with hilarious, brilliant, lovable guys behind the mics. If you have anything boring in your life to get through (Cooking? Cleaning? Driving?) you NEED this in your life. Try it today! (Give it a real, fair shot. Like download the last 100 or so episodes and THEN decide that you love it.)

The Cheers of its form
I listened to JJGo once by chance 7 or 8 years ago. Afterwards I thought, “ok this seems promising, let me try another.” Following the second episode I was hooked. This is the podcast I return to before any other and that I wait for with enthusiasm every week. Jordan and Jesse have the an incredible dynamic and approach comedy with simultaneous silliness and thoughtfulness. No mean-spirited nonsense, only a personal chat between J, J, and guest that is goofy and rich and intimate and surreal and smart. It’s the best.

I love listening to Jordan and Jesse every week, talking about the topic that they always talk about, but sometimes taking a break to talk about a new thing. They're so funny and joyful--listening to them is the perfect start to my week. Plus, they always have super funny guests, often people I'm not aware of, so it's a great podcast to find out about new writers/entertainers to follow. Also, their bits are so infectious, I often find myself just quoting stuff from their show randomly in my life. My friends and family often don't know what I'm talking about. Hard as a rock, wet as a river!

There's something so loveable about good friends (and a guest) riffing off of each other in ways both silly and smart. Though I hate the term LOL, I will use it in the context of the podcast, as in: "this podcast makes me LOL a ton." I've been to several MaxFun events, and am happy to report that Jordan and Jesse are equally delightful in person - just two goofballs who invite us all into their conversation each week, and who truly enjoy what they do. Number one reason I'm laughing to myself in public
JJGO is hard to describe. It's hilarious, it's fun and it's just very nice. It's hard to describe why I love this show so much. Although it is a comedy podcast, humor isn't the whole story. I'm struggling to come up with words because thinking about this brings up so many feelings. There are certainly funnier podcasts, but Jordan and Jesse are clearly such good friends. Listening to this show is more like hanging out with your hilarious best friends than listening to a stand up routine. Every new episode goes to the top of my queue, not because I can't wait to find out what happens, but because listening consitently brightens my day, even when I'm feeling my worst. The back catalog is very good, but some more recent episodes might be a better place to start for a newer listener (order is not super important). Anything with guest Danielle Radford is always great!

Delightfully crass, surprisingly earnest
A weekly must for me, JJGo! is a simple chat show with a few friends. With topics ranging from alternative comedy to 3rd wave ska and Paul Prudhomme, I'm consistently surprised by this old favorite. Of the many that things I love so much that I insist on telling my uninterested suppose about, JJGo! It's the most discussed. Get 'em.

Every once and while I feel like I’m subscribing to too many podcasts and I’m like, “I gotta put some on the chopping block.” You know what show never gets the axe? You guessed it, this one. Every week a new episode rolls around and every week I’m laughing for that 1.5 hours. Also, you think I have a back log? For JJGO?! No way, baby. These two gents and guest always help me forget my woes for the week, so why would I wait for that sweet dose. Humanity’s collective momentous occasion is the day this show hit the pod-waves.

The podcast I don't like to admit is my favorite.
Whenever I'm asked to suggest a podcast I recommend something of more substance, mbmbam, something NPR, hardcore history, etc. Really, when JJgo is released each week I drop whatever I'm listening to and switch to this. There is very little tangible evidence this is good at all, but I just love these guys. Listening to two old friends make silly jokes is my favorite thing apparently. Hard as a rock, wet as a river.

My Fav Max Fun Show (Give It Some Time)
when i started listening to this show, i wasn’t sure about it. in fact, the first episode i listened to, i actively disliked. but for some reason, i kept listening and after 5 or 6 episodes, i thought, “well i can listen to this when i’ve already listened to this week’s MBMBAM.” i don’t know what happened between then and now, but this truly is one of my favorite podcasts. it’s laid back, with great guests and lots of recurring topics and jokes. my personal favorite part of the show might be hearing the producer laughing in the booth, it really makes the show feel like a few friends just hanging out. seriously, give it a few eps and see if it grows on you.

90 minutes of hilarious nonsense
Jordan and Jesse have been hosting shows together for a decade or so, and boy does it show. The easy camaraderie they share makes what could be a standard "two white guys remembering Nintendo" podcast (as Jordan likes to joke) so much better. It's not an interview show, they basically just bring a guest or two on and talk about hilarious nonsense for about an hour and a half. It's a staple of my Monday morning commute!

Sticking with a Two Star for Now
I've been listening now for at least ten years, every week. This has consistently been my favorite podcast (recent history excluded, now it's top 3). That having been said, it's dropping. The guests have become a little lame as of late. Which is whatever. It doesn't lose stars for that. However, Jesse has grown to be so much more insufferable over time. He's arrogant, condescending, and obnoxious. Hey Jesse, do you host a show on NPR? You've made nobody aware of it. He constantly feels the need to talk over people because every single thought he has is a gem and it needs to be heard. He's under the impression he's brilliant. I can't express how excited I am when I see Jesse is gone for some reason or another. That's having been said, Jordan keep up the good work. You've been consistently funny all these years. I regularly go through and re-listen to early episodes with Gene or Chris Fairbanks in them. At least bring in Gene. You could really use a Big Time Gene O'Neill episode.

A carnival ride or immature stupidity
Like any great carnival ride, the interaction between Jesse and Jordan is fun and intriguing while inducing pain and vomiting. A good description of this podcast would be "It's like listening to immature college friends talk, make jokes, and tell stories that make you cringe outside, while deep down inside you wish you were part of the fun unfolding before you". Dumb, inane, disgusting, off color, immature, profane, ridiculous, enjoyable, oddly intelligent, side splitting, stress relieving, necessary, irreplaceable, and the podcast at the top of my list. My week would not be the same without it.

Sincerity is what saves this podcast
The on-going runaway tangent-style silliness is truly what I think about first thing Monday morning & listening on my commute keeps me from causing so many on-purpose car accidents. Jesse & Jordan are sincerely interested in firmly punching up or inward with their goofs & the typical undercurrent of white male nonsense is absent from their banter - making this show a fun and warm and relaxing way to spend an hour to an hour and a half. Honestly, I truly appreciate how mad nonsensical they keep it. Tuppies or Death! Amen.

A Joy Every Week
I look forward to Mondays because I get to spend another hour or so with these guys. Jesse Thorn has an incredible wit that pops out unexpected, intelligent, hilarious lines when you need them most. I have fallen madly in love with Jordan Morris, and not just because he's a devoted cat owner. I used to avoid JJGo because when Jesse talks about it on Judge John Hodgman, he emphasizes how juvenile and dick joke-oriented it is. On paper, perhaps that's so. In actuality, JJGo is always sweet and funny. (I think Jesse is just preparing JJHo listeners for the cursing, which isn't permitted on Hodgman's podcast.) Don't make my mistake and wait on this show. Listen now!

A podcast about nothing
There are recurring segments & guests, there is a vague format. But ultimately this is free form in the best sense of the word. It's not jazz, there's no pretense. But at its core, its 2 friends who kept doing their college radio show after graduation and it just evolved into something bigger. It's become a part of my life. There are 2 times now I've learned important news about friends from them calling into the "Momentus Occasions" line rather than, um, me. But I still have no clue how to recommend it to friends. I don't know what to classify this, but it's silly and hilarious and I love it.

So good, I logged on to tell you about it
This is consistently the most hilarious podcast in my feed and by far the most underrated podcast I know of. This podcast succeeds where all other comedy podcasts fail - by being hilarious. All week I save this podcast for last because I enjoy it so much.

Oh, man, these fools are good!
I've been listening to these cats for years. The show started out great, and got better. Thank you, Jesse, for providing the world with not only this great podcast, but also a home for so many other excellent programs on MaximumFun.org. And thank you Jordan for being the funny one. Hehe, just kidding. Jesse is funny, too. You're both funny! Hooray!

Hilarious Humans
Jordan and Jesse and their guests always make me laugh. The un-ironic love of the absurd, the goofy voices, the running gags, the intros… It’s one of the best shows around. I know you always talk about the show being unpopular, but it is a long-time favorite of mine and so long as you keep recording, I’ll keep listening. PS: Bring back the McElroy’s singing the outro song! Even if it’s just every once in a while. : )

Funniest podcast out there
Take it from me, a guy who listens to a lot of podcasts (like seriously ~50 a week, I have a problem), this is consistently the funniest podcast out there. Two early 30’s guys bantering with a guest, hilarity every time. Also charming, cultured, heartfelt, vulgar, and silly too. A fantastic listen every week.

An Old Favorite
I had to stop listening to this because their producer is often audible laughing outside the recording studio and it just gradually drove me nuts BUT, before then, Jordan Jesse Go brought me years and years of entertainment and constantly introduced me to great new comedians. So if you're not listening, give it a try, and if you discover that you're in the minority of people like me who aren't on Team Sunny D, dip into a back catalogue episode with a comedian you like, you'll definitely enjoy it.

Super funny
Jesse Thorn and Jordan Morris, the Voice of the Millennial Generation and the Boy Detective respectively, are one of the best comedy duos it’s ever been my pleasure to listen to. Alone, each one brings their own unique, hilarious perspective but together they become something simply sublime. Add to the mix a terrific comedian every week and you’ll see why every episode is such a huge success.

Yeah, I said it! This podcast is effing funny! Two delightful hosts, a fantastic guest. They have their thumb on the comedy zeitgeist. Genuinely Entertaining
The concept is simple; two friends from college talk about the weather in LA while a guest sits quietly in front of a microphone. But really, this podcast is a free form conversation between three people and, much like a benevolent dictatorship, is driven entirely by the force of their personalities. Jordan is the best friend you've always wanted. Jesse really missed his calling as "LA Most Chill Meteorologist," and Go can go to hell. He knows what he did...

Thanks but I'm taking a break
I used to love the show but I don't know... Maybe I changed, maybe the show did, maybe I wasn't in the right headspace... There always seemed a topic that was crazy and over the top. It used to come late in the show so I totally bought in. Now it comes earlier and earlier. I appreciate the positivity, humor and intelligence from the hosts. Maybe Southern California living is so much different than my experience it feels jarring. Maybe professional comedy is outside of my understanding it takes me out of the show. It's not fair for me to ask the show to be free form and censor itself so I won't complain about any topics. I'll try again in a few months and maybe I'll be ready for jj go again. Best wishes summer boys.

always fun
It's just two guys and their guest goofing off, like hanging out with your friends on a lazy afternoon. They avoid politics and buzz marketing, keep it lighthearted, and they have good positive attitudes, so this is almost always going to cheer you up on your way to work or whatever. Fairly vulgar but egalitarian and fun about it, so it's not offensive to me personally. Sometimes heavy on pop culture references. However missing a reference never stopped me from having a great time listening to J and J and guest. My favorite part is the listener call-in Momentous Occasions, and my favorite episodes tend to be with a female guest, just for diversity of backgrounds I guess.

If I’m in the middle of another podcast and I notice that JJGO has downloaded, I switch over. Right then and there. No fiddle faddle or dilly dally. I have to get up in that. My only wish is that IFC or somebody would make this a TV show, the way other channels show the video of dumb radio shows.

1st general interest podcast I've really liked
They're on the same network as Judge John Hodgman, but I didn't think I liked general interest podcasts, so I always skipped them, even after I started listening to Sawbones and Oh No Ross and Carrie. But when Worcester got 5 ft of snow a couple months ago, I ran out of pods to listen to while shoveling, and started listening to JJGo just to kill time. I've burst out laughing more times while listening than any other podcast. Now I'm solidly addicted, and listen at home, in the car, and at work. I started at episode 1 and have only made it to 181, so I'll need to update this when I catch up, but as of episode 181 they are still running strong, still hilarious, and have a great dynamic.

The Podcast that other Podcasts want to be.
JJGO wasn’t the first podcast I listened to, but it might as well have been. It was the show that made me realize just what podcasts could be: irreverent, profane, spontaneous, unexpectedly emotional, and intensely personal. I don’t think the show gets enough credit for pioneering the free-form conversational podcast as a trope, and I certainly don’t think it gets recognized enough as the top of an increasingly tall heap of such shows. Jordan and Jesse have the chops to keep an open-ended conversation tight enough for broadcast while giving themselves and their consistently great guests the space to explore and riff on a wide range of topics. There are many years’-worth of running jokes for repeat listeners, but the show remains easily accessible to newcomers. The hosts are each funny in their own right, and joined by fascinating guests, but what makes this show so great is how the most mundane of topics often leads their conversation through a winding path to somewhere unexpected and delightful. If you’ve ever listened to a podcast and found yourself bored and wondering what the hosts think they’re doing letting a discussion meander blandly through jokes that fall flat, then what you’ve heard is a show that fails where JJGO consistently succeeds. This is the podcast that other podcasts aspire to be.

Highlight of my week
Met Jesse in LA at the TBTL event a number of years back. Dude was dressed so well: I wanted what he had going on with the classic men’s clothing; started downloading his Put This On podcast; this led to me buying my first suit; second and third and fourth suits; changing my whole attitude towards living; a better job and a raise. This gave me extra time to seek out and listen to this man who had changed me so. Oh glorious day when I discovered Jordan, Jesse Go! and the Maximum Fun network. I listen to exactly nine different Maximum Fun network podcasts, WEEKLY! When I say highlight of my week, I speak the truth. Hiking the dogs in the mountains of Idyllwild, driving through the desert of Arizona, going to sleep in a bed designed for astronauts; all these events in my life use as their soundtrack the dulcet sounds of Jordan and Jesse as they wax poetic. I would pay to have them pee into my earholes.

Best Podcast Ever
Jordan and Jesse are hilarious people and they have a real knack for keeping things interesting and engaging. The conversations are often surreal and they go off on long tangents but you almost always want to see those tangents through to the hilarious anecdotes. The podcast can also be very personal and moving at times, like when Jesse gives an impassioned tale about how he had to grapple with the issue of race and police brutality while in college. They are also great with engaging their listeners, they play calls of momentous occasions on every episode and I was actually lucky enough to have mine played on the air, it was a tale of a "freeze dried chimp." Keep up the amazing podcast work guys you improve my life in more ways than you could ever know!

My Favorite Podcast
I had the impetus this summer for starting at the beginning of Jordan, Jesse, Go!, a podcast I'd begun listening to about two years ago regularly. I found that not only is it the most earnestly funny podcast that I'm aware of (just two best friends trying to make each-other and their guest laugh), but that it also provides the story of two recent college grads and recent LA transplants trying to make their way in the entertainment business: taking their lumps, doing their time, and rooting for each-other and their friends the whole way through. The fact that they are willing to share of themselves: their true feelings and stories from their actual lives, invites the listener to stick around, to dig in, and take the trip with them.

A perennial favorite
I feel a little silly writing a reveiw for JJGO--if you listen to funny podcasts, surely you know it already. JJGO is always a thing of beauty: The hosts have an effortless sense of each other's comic timing, but without feeling stale, and both bring out the best in every guest. The show excels in many things, but it approaches utter perfection when it comes to being outrageously vulgar in a way that feels charming and even wholesome. Keep up the good work, flight of the raptor sting of the asp!

Long time listener, 1st one reviewer
I've been listening to jjgo since 2009 when I needed something new and engaging to keep me awake on my morning commute to school, but couldn't afford to pay for new music. Free podcasts seemed the pragmatic option. But my pragmatism has paid off in such a big way, I fell in friend-love with Jesse and Jordan and went down the rabbit hole that is Maximumfun. I start my days and end my nights listening to maxfun podcasts and JJGO was what got me hooked. Their goofy jokes, their true friendship and their curation of some great guests always makes my day. Heck, I went on a maxfun cruise and met someone I dated for 4 months, as well as some wonderful far-flung friends. They've had a influential effect on my life that I will alway be grateful for.

Marry me Jordan!
I love this podcast. The insights and wittiness that these guys have are awesome. It really is a dream come true. I have been listening for a few years now, and can't wait to hear what they are up to on a weekly basis.

A weekly laugh with friends and curse words
Two old friends and trained improvisers, Jordan and Jesse, invite an indie comedian into the studio every week. You'll laugh, you'll love, you'll learn to hate crows. A must listen to comedy podcast.
