Time to move on
The live show was so poorly done, they clearly didn’t care about the quality of the show/don’t care anymore, and like the other reviews say they’re out of touch. The content has gone downhill, either wildly recycled or above their heads.

I was being a hater
I wrote a review previously about how they’ve changed but then I realized, we are supposed to change! We change and we grow and we THRIVE and that’s what Rayna and Ash are doing, they are growing and getting greater! Sure, they say some cringey things and they like to talk about how they have certain standards, but wouldn’t you too? If you had this kind of success, I’m sure you would do the same or much more! There was a little bit of a slump for me but it’s coming back! I still enjoy listening to these ladies, and I think we need to stop being so hard on them.

What’s the saying that if you are in the same place you were a year ago then you are not growing. Well these ladies are bossing up and we should not expect them to be who they were years ago. A man would not be called braggadocios for claiming his time. Rayna and Ashley are strong in their convictions. So what!? I’m proud of any woman on a constant path of learning even if it means they are not perfect every step of the way. Keep on keeping on ladies. I’m still a fan of your audacity to be bold. Let’s continue to color outside the lines

You’re talking over your guests
You guys landed the FOUNDER of Hinge and you literally talked over his every word the entire episode. I’m cringeing listening to this episode (my first episode listening to this podcast). You landed an amazing guest and gave him literally no room to answer your questions. Big missed opportunity- I wanted to hear more from him and less of you guys interrupting.

Yikes
I think these reviews speak for themselves. A and R are so out of touch with who they are, which is nobodies who will be quickly forgotten once this podcast is finally cancelled due to their own hubris. The fact that Rayna thinks she got a second boob job because of “who she is” is so deliriously funny. I can’t imagine even a C list celebrity saying that and these two spoiled white women (who have endangered innocent peoples lives with their multiple DUIs) actually think they have pull at a plastic surgeon’s office in NEW YORK CITY. For the record, I live here too and no I’m not a “hater” just a long time listener who has officially gotten the ick.

Disappointing
For years this was my favorite podcast that I would tell every girl I met about! The girls were hilarious, the advice was amazing and I felt so seen and connected. I’ve been slowly losing interest for the last few months and the Quiet Quitting episode was my breaking point. The girls are so out of touch with reality and the apology wasn’t even an apology, just a way to defend their actions. This no longer feels like a dating podcast but rather a podcast about listening to two single rich white women in their upper thirties brag about themselves and put down everyone who thinks differently. I’m truly so heartbroken and disappointed to no longer be a fan of GGE.

It’s gone downhill
I used to love this podcast. It was a wonderful beginning of the week but the podcast has consistently been getting worse. As other reviewers note, the hosts have become successful literally because of their audience but now spend so much time belittling others and flaunting their lifestyle. Not to mention their lack of a dating and sex life. They keep pushing their vibrator business and one of them even said she barely used vibrators! It just feels so unrelated and out of touch. They also can’t keep up with their guests. They have intelligent experts as guests who offer nuanced perspectives, and the hosts try to jump in and relate or provide judgement and often misconstrue what the guest is saying. The guest then needs to correct them. It seems like a lot of the nuance goes over their heads, and it’s cringey. Podcasts don’t need to last forever. I used to love this one, and I’m thankful for the many great episodes, but this isn’t it anymore.

It’s not me, it’s definitely you!
I followed this podcast since 2018 and loved it so much. The last 18months have been a serious decline in content and professionalism by the hosts. They used to give solid hot takes and played fun segments with guests now it’s all gossip, hating on current trends, boasting on their privileged success, and promoting their side business. If you feel the need, listen to the early episodes. Otherwise, not worth your time.

READ YOUR REVIEWS
All of the recent reviews are the same. I feel the same way. Used to listen to this religiously, but now it seems like they are so out of touch. We don’t get realistic advice anymore, we get whiny first world problems. Maybe start taking questions from the audience and give relatable advice. That’s what we all came here to listen to. The recent podcast topics are blah, I have had to skip the last few because they are uninteresting.

My love is gone.
This used to be my absolute favorite podcast to listen to, but it’s turned into a game of what horrible thing will the hosts say or do next. Completely tone deaf to their listeners and their privilege. I’ve tried, quite a few times, to reignite the flame, but it’s long gone. Listen to a podcast where the hosts actually appreciate your viewership and don’t take it for granted.

Not relevant anymore
I went to the Boston live show on October 2021 and soon after that, I stopped listening. The show was not good, and I realized Rayna and Ashley have never provided given helpful dating advice. Well how could they when they're not dating? I've entered my 30s and the things they say are not relevant anymore. And we can all feel the tension between the two - Ashley, stop being so mean to Rayna and cutting guests ofd.

Lately I’ve been abandoning episodes partway through. Girls Gotta Eat Humble Pie
The two girls who work harder than everyone are really phoning in this podcast. If you are still curious if this podcast is for you because you’re interested in dating an relationship content, then think about this: the most frequently mentioned men on this podcast are these women’s fathers. They both don’t want to get married, have children, or live with a partner. Which is actually something I found interesting and I think a some women could relate. However, as advice-giving hosts of a dating and relationship podcast it seems odd that these women can’t seem to catch a second date. Which, honestly, would be interesting if they talked about the reality of dating in their world. I find myself not caring about their stories anymore, because they are the same ones over and over. They don’t live interesting enough lives to talk about. Once, one of the host discovered sparkling water. They questioned whether sparkling water hydrated you. That was 10 minutes of content. Talk about making someone wet! It appears the host think that it is interesting to their listeners to flex their money they earned off of us saps listening to their podcast. At the beginning I was happy for these women’s success. Then they started belittling women who make less money than them. It started out with subtle self-congratulating comments. As women, we are often shamed and told to make ourselves smaller especially when we are successful, so showing women proud of their success felt empowering. This empowerment morphed into conversations with overt elitism. A vibe of “my lifestyle and my choices are better than anyone who chooses a different path.” Especially if you are a women who want to have children. Forget it. These two hosts literally think they’re better than you, breeder. Then all the stories turned superficial level conversations about their extravagance. If you want to hear which European pool club is the worse compared to other European pool clubs than tune in! Don’t worry you won’t be distracted by details, nuance, or humor. None of their stories include that! That’s fine! A lot of people don’t have something interesting, juicy, funny, or sexy to talk about every week. A lot of people also don’t have podcasts. It’s ok, podcasts don’t have to last forever. The podcast today exists so that the host can sell you stuff, then insult you for being lazy and not first class only fliers like them. Maybe if you worked harder, you’d be successful. Only money and a blue check mark makes you successful by the way. Also, I went to their live show. It sucked. They were really late, barely interacted with the crowd, and it really wasn’t what they hype it up to be. Don’t get duped by the Instagram reels. I hope these women learn a little something about themselves with these reviews. I rarely write reviews, but their behavior is gross. When they “apologize” they are laughing, say “but other people really liked it”, and respond with they “think the world of their audience…well some of them.” Toxic, gaslighting, self-absorbed women are nothing to be admired. I write this in hopes that a woman would read this review, and the many other negative reviews, and think critically of the questionable advice these women give. Signed, A stupid hater anyway. She’s probably uncool, so there is no reason to listen to her opinion because it isn’t the host’s opinion.

Annoying hosts think they’re celebs and live in an echo chamber.
As a listener of 4 years, I can confidently say the hosts are driving this podcast to its grave. They used to provide helpful advice and perspectives that I could apply to my daily life. Now it’s primarily them just talking about themselves, their personal life, and recycling the same generic advice. There has been a few episodes in the last six months that had straight terrible advice or were just offensive. Also the hosts rarely get second dates and haven’t been able to hold had a long term relationship in years. so if you want advice on how to stay single this is the one for you.

I’m done
I used to enjoy listening every week, and thought the guests and topics were very interesting. And I related to the hosts. But over the last few months I found myself relating less and less. The hosts flaunt their success and belittle large swaths of listeners that don’t fit what they determine as success. Also since starting the podcast, both hosts have done a 180 and now do not want to get married or have kids. It’s okay for them to change their minds, but this furthers them not being relatable to me. Why would I listen or take any dating advice seriously? Every week I find myself cringing or rolling my eyes more and more, so I decided I’m done. Also it doesn’t even matter that I am leaving this review because they “literally don’t care” about any feedback they get (direct quote from them and they have merch to back it up). I hope more listeners will realize the hosts only see you as money in their pockets and you need to stop supporting this podcast. If you hate listen just read the weekly recap on reddit.

Meh
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and regardless of what their last few episodes have been like, there has been a steady decline over the last few months. To be completely honest, it’s just a lot of them giggling, (so annoying when a podcast is more laughing than actually talking), sharing inside jokes between the two of them, and then bombarding you with a ridiculous amount of ads including them plugging their overpriced sex toy business. Nothing wrong with making a buck but it’s not why we’re listening. Mind you, these women are not sex educators, just trying to capitalize off the fact that they talk about sex to make extra money. If I’m not mistaken one of them mentioned never really using toys so the fact that they’re selling them now is weird. Frankly, I think they’re just running out of things to talk about and it’s obvious…These are grown women, not young girls, so it’s probably time for them to stop podcasting like they’re 18-year-olds. I will say that on her own Ashley Hesseltine is actually quite funny, but this podcast is not it.

Day 1 listener
I started listening to GGE from the very beginning and recommended it to so many people. Ashley and Rayna used to be so relatable and give great, empathetic advise. They have become so arrogant and condescending in the past year or so that I can no longer get through an episode. A lot of their advise and “hot takes” are just terrible and lack nuance. They have basically no experience or credentials at this point to be giving anyone sound dating advise. I honestly don’t see how this podcast is going to continue for much longer unless they make major changes.

Out of touch, unstructured mess
If you want to listen to white women discuss how rich they are, this is for you. Nothing like relationship advice from two women who haven’t had successful relationships in years (if ever?). The Quiet Quitting Episode did it for me
I’m a teacher. I’ve chosen a so called “mediocre life” (Ashley’s words) because it’s my passion and I have very little control over how much I get paid. “Quiet Quitting” has helped me have a life and been very good for my mental health. I’ve unfollowed and unsubscribed. It’s like breaking up with a best friend.

It Took A Turn
Longtime listener and this podcast used to be my favorite, but over the last 1 year specifically both hosts have become completely self involved, arrogant, and seem to have no interest in putting out content with substance. Specifically what is most disappointing is the complete loss of reality and a constant need to hype themselves up to account for their fragile egos. This review is not in response specifically to the most recent upsetting episode but has been present for sometime and this “apology addendum” has given many listeners the push to unsubscribe, myself included.

I’ve been a fan for 3 years, regularly listening every week and looking forward to each new podcast episode. I’ve been listening to these girls for a little over 2 years now and always looked forward to their episodes. As of lately the first 45 minutes is all about Ashley belittling Rayna or them fighting or all of their 76 ads back to back. The last “quiet quitting” episode was the last straw for me and the apology that they issued which was half of Ashley just LAUGHING was despicable and gross. Out of touch with their listeners
Long time listener hoping for change. It’s a bummer to see feedback dismissed when they come from real listeners who have supported the podcast by subscribing, coming to shows, or buying merch (we’re not trolls who are hate listening). It’s a tough pill to swallow to hear Ashley & Rayna gloat about their lifestyle when so much of that lifestyle is supported by the never ending ads on this show. I’d love if this show could have a couple less ads, more experts, and more structure. I admire the hard work Ashley & Rayna have put into this pod and hope they start to read these reviews and make changes.

Beyond out of touch
I used to love this show in the early days, but I can’t listen to it anymore. Ashley and Rayna have become so out of touch with the reality of most people these days. I really dislike the way they act as if their personal experiences and preferences are how everyone should live their lives — it’s incredibly condescending to look down on people who are seeking long-term committed relationships or kids just because that’s not what they want. The constant bragging about their success, wealth and hard work is getting old, and the recent “quiet quitting” episode was the final straw for me. I hope these two can do some real self-reflection and truly take time to acknowledge the insane amount of privilege they hold as white, cisgender heterosexual women who have stumbled into money from this podcast, which is many ways was pure luck. Will not be supporting them anymore.

Aged out despite them being older than me
I used to listen each week and was excited. After about 2 years, and beginning a relationship of my own, I found their advice and contributions to topics to not be useful, applicable to being in a relationship, or very fun or funny anymore. It’s odd that for a relationship/dating humor podcast, neither host seems to have been in a relationship longer than a year in quite a while. When I stopped listening and unfollowed, the hosts had gotten so self-important and episodes became more about bragging on and showing off their wealth. There was so much touting about how much they ‘didn’t care’ about the people who offered criticism that it became boring. The ads started happening multiple times throughout episodes for more than 2-3 minutes at a go. Went from a fun, funny podcast to meh with a hefty dose of second hand embarrassment for how immature these two women seemed as they did not grow with their audience or podcast. I’m a bit embarrassed that I recommended the podcast to the people I did when I did listen.

They hate their audience
I listened from the very beginning. I recommended them to SO many friends and am now so embarrassed. The quality of the episodes has declined, but their contempt for their fans is so upsetting. It used to be “cute” when they said don’t DM us, but honestly it just feels like they resent their audience NOW. We are the “mediocre” people who aren’t working as hard as them. Unlike Rayna, I can’t work so hard I can just randomly fly to Europe with 24 hours notice. I’m a veterinarian— if I don’t show up to work, animals suffer. It’s not because I don’t work hard enough to get privileges like that. They’re so out of touch and I don’t want to listen to something that makes me feel so gross and terrible.

sooo out of touch and condescending
as someone who has bought merch and went to a live show in the past, they have become so insufferable recently. it feels like all they talk about is their wealth and success (while preaching “nobody works harder than us”). They’re incredibly out of touch with reality and what their listeners ACTUALLY want to hear. plus neither of them are really qualified to give dating/relationship advice anymore, especially after Rayna openly trashed her ex boyfriend on her public platform and at live shows for being “poor”. smh.

They don’t get it
They think they have haters that hate listen and never got over them being “canceled” during the rise of BLM in 2020. I actually thought that weathered through that, but it’s the fact that they seemed to have stopped responding to any legitimate feedback since then. They just issued a horrible apology for missing the mark on their latest episode about quiet quitting and they still don’t get it. ASHLEY HAS GOTTEN OUT OF 3 DUIS AND CANT UNDERSTAND WHY WERE ALL MAD ABOUT HER ENTITLEMENT. Most people would not financially recover from the legal fees of 3 DUIS, nor would they pass a background check, particularly a woman of color. Rayna doesn’t have a backbone to say anything different from Ashley other than “I co-sign whatever Ashley says.” They are so absolutely out of touch and their response is “this is the life we want to create and no judgement to you” when there very much is judgement. They have become unrelatable to their average/“mediocre” listener and are using their fan base as a means to make a profit for their new sex toy company. Old episodes are still worth a listen but over the last year or so the episodes feel lazy and underprepared.

End of the era for me
I used to be excited for Mondays, because of the new episode. After the career episode I was shocked and unsubscribed. It made me feel guilty and lazy for taking time of and not “hustling”. So much criticism that I can’t bear it anymore. I expected to hear their stories about their challenges and struggles in their careers and how they overcame them to be inspired myself, but we heard none of that. So disappointed about lack of content and just general kindness to women, who are struggling with money and careers for whatever reason. Just makes me sad.

This podcast used to be pretty good. Major decline recently; this past episode was the last straw. A&R need to touch some grass and get a grip on reality. Humble yourselves. You’ve achieved the success you have bc of the people you’re constantly shaming. Major ICK. Hopefully you turn it around before you lose all your fans and have to work like the rest of us. Quietly quitting this podcast ✌🏻

Struggled through this one
As a dedicated listener, I struggled with the context of this last podcast. As someone who is currently working in corporate, not for myself, and feeling absolutely overworked and burned out it was disappointing to hear a perspective without insight. I’m also in grad school so before it’s assumed I’m just complaining about my job, I am being proactive for my future. I do understand “quiet quitting” but I think there were a lot of opportunities with this topic and perhaps maybe even bringing an expert related to the field, such as Arianna Huffington, to expand on ways to balance and continue working hard.

Decline
This podcast used to be good. I was a loyal follower, even saw them live a few years ago. Lately, I cannot listen to them. Mainly because Ashley can do no wrong in her own eyes. They are both out of touch and their podcast has no value. Really sad what happened to them.

Snackhead no more
Wow, these reviews make me feel seen 🤣 I had to stop the Quiet Quitting episode halfway through and unsubscribed right then. I used to be a huge GGE fan, but the last year or so it’s really taken a turn. Not sure why people who haven’t worked traditional jobs in years felt qualified to pop off about workplace boundaries and why they didn’t bring in an expert like Ask a Manager. The travel episode where Ashley called Away suitcases “SUPER affordable” (a carry on is $250) and the episode about alcohol that basically boiled down to “if your partner has a different drinking style than you, you might not be a great match!” were also recent gems. Not sure who your target audience is anymore ladies, but this snackhead is OUT ✌🏼

Stop listening to this lazy pod
These women live in a unique space where they are neither relatable nor aspirational. Since I’m not willing to listen to anything lazy or mediocre, I’m gonna have to cut out all GGE pod episodes from 2020-2022. They put NO effort in these days, including their live shows, whose success relies solely on what the audience is able to bring to the table that night. Maybe you guys should pay your audience for all that work? Just a thought.

out-of-touch
the most recent episode on quiet quitting is so out-of-touch. I’m getting really tired of their “don’t come for me” attitude. They cast wide and sweeping generalizations and then don’t make room for any type of feedback or conversation. I also find it ironic they give out career advice when they’ve been fired from previous jobs and talked about how they didn’t get along with their bosses. I loved this podcast for so long but it has shifted from empowering to entitled. I’m not sure how many more chances I can give it.

I’ll see myself out…
In the early days (2018-2020), I subscribed, recommended, and laughed out loud. In the last two years, I’ve mainly only listened to the intros and attempted to get through the interviews. Lately, I’ve listened for a few minutes and can’t seem to get through the rest. Between the endless ads, the self-promotion, the repetitive stories, the public shaming of prior sponsors as soon as they didn’t fully bow down to the hosts, and the latest tone deaf and insulting episode (Quiet Quitting) where the added “apology” is somehow as bad as the episode itself, I’m out. Best wishes from a former fan.

They think they’re better than their listeners
I used to love this podcast. I am really disappointed to have realized over the last year or so that Ashley and Rayna actually care so little about their listeners and the quality of their podcast now (which is ironic given they’re always on one about how hard they work). First of all, they are not skilled interviewers and don’t seem interested in learning new things or bettering themselves. But the most recent episode was the last straw. They really, really think they are better than people and it’s a little shocking how bold they are with their elitism and arrogance. They have no interest in considering what challenges other people might be facing that they never had to confront. Just because you’re rich and successful doesn’t make you a role model.

We get it…you guys have money.
It’s getting so hard to listen. Ashley and Rayna are out of touch with most peoples reality. How many times are we going to talk about how they’re able to do things because they have money now? And how many times are we going to put down others who do not have money to live lives like theirs? I get it, you’re proud of your success and can enjoy nice things. That’s great, but don’t let having money be your entire personality. All of us don’t have the same goals in life. We’re not all trying to make millions. And just because we aren’t financially stable, that doesn’t mean we aren’t working just as hard (if not harder) as they are. Some of us love our underpaying jobs and some of us are working them because they don’t have the privilege of being able to easily find a higher paying job. Understand that the majority of your listeners don’t live the same lives as you. Making jokes about people jobs and financial status is extremely condescending. Really hoping A and R step back and realize they aren’t giving us the same content they were giving us a few years ago. We come to listen to relatable and educational content. We don’t want to be shamed.

Fell so far so fast
Long time listener, been to live shows, bought merch, bought the vibe, LOVED this podcast. Over the past few months (basically since the VO launch) I’ve been feeling the disconnect but the Quiet Quitting episode was the last straw for me. Putting away your phone and disconnecting from work WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT WORK isn’t lazy, it’s self care. Since the VO launch they come across as trying to be relatable rather than actually being relatable. I can’t support someone telling me that I’m lazy because I work two jobs but scaling back how much off the clock work I’m doing makes me lazy.

Die hard fan quiet quits this pod
I’ve spent years recommending this podcast to everyone I know. I was a die hard fan- went to multiple shows, purchased merch, and was a loyal listener since early 2019. It makes me sad that they were once so relatable and have now turned a nose to their fans. It feels like a bad breakup but I get it, “people change and sometimes you outgrow each other.” I will miss this show and wish the ladies the best but I don’t think I fall under your target audience anymore. We get it, you’re successful and better than everyone who supported you and helped you get there. Hope vibez only gets you to where you need since you’ve continuously stomped on your loyal fans.

Girls Gotta…STOP
I used to love this podcast, it was my favorite to tune into every week and I even went to their live show a couple years back. Ashley and Rayna are now completely unrelatable and act better than their followers and listeners, the ones who got them to where they are today. This show is so politically charged these days and if you don’t agree with them, then just save yourself and don’t listen to the tragedy that is Girls Gotta Eat. Their Quiet Quitting episode completed did it for me when they called their listeners lazy and proving that they outwork everyone.

Done
I think it’s been the feeling for quite some time that the girls are out of touch and full of themselves off the money that we as viewers give their products and shows. I wasn’t able to capture that until the last career episode which made me realize I’m supporting arrogant privileged women. If it was a one off mistake I can understand but there’s been months and months of the girls making micro digs and now I realized all the money we’ve supported them with has gone to their heads. There are wonderful podcasts out there like giggly squad etc that are entertaining and not out of touch. Don’t support these girls with your hard earned money. And btw we live in a society they values comedians over doctors and nurses who save lives. That’s what quiet quitting is aiming to change. Every time these girls go on trips and get things for free it’s because of your money so I suggest taking your money elsewhere.

Major Decline
Man I used to love this podcast. It was authentic and humble and real. ^literally all three of these things no longer exist and you can add some hypocrisy in there too. 2 stars because I like the guests, and I’m really not here to tear down other women, but for the love of god please listen to this feedback (that is being echoed over and over in these reviews). Quiet quitting episode was appalling. The self proclaimed awareness of the world and what others struggle with is not evident in listening.

Great Advice and Insights
Totally agree with the latest career episode. If you work hard in your 20s, you can get the career capital and autonomy to be happy in your career. I think a lot of their thoughts can be summed up in Cal Newport’s book, So Good They Can’t Ignore You: Why Skills Trump Passion in the Quest for Work You Love. You don’t have to work 24/7, just be a bit better than everyone else. Love this show - always interesting, new content that keeps me engaged.

Queens of Gaslighting
For two grown adults that love to accuse others of “gaslighting” and overuse the term, they can’t seem to ever acknowledge when they do it to their listeners. You know, the “mediocre” people that have made them wealthy from going to shows and downloading their episodes. Why am I not surprised that two white women got wealthy talking nonsense into microphones and now feel the need to put everyone else down? Also, try googling how to give an actual apology. It will take your farther in life. Ashley, this may be your ticket to actually having a boyfriend again for the first time since college. Enjoy your money, ladies! Don’t forget to take your heads out of your own b holes to get some fresh air once in a while.

It’s okay to not double down and maybe rethink what you said.
I wanna say 3 stars because these girls old episodes got me through a lot and at some points they were my only friends. But, I feel sad for how they address issues. There have been things said that I don’t particularly like or agree with but hey, that’s why it’s fun to listen and hear new perspectives. But there are some quite out of touch things they’ve put out, and when their LISTENERS, come to them about it, they double down no matter what and basically throw out a ‘sorry it offended you but not really’. I just feel like supporters who actively listen and address concerns should be treated better than that instead of instantly categorized as haters. And so I’ve really faded from this podcast.

So long, farewell
It saddens me to write a negative review since GGE used to be my favorite podcast at one point. I felt the slow shift over the course of the past year as it became less and less relatable and topics and commentary more and more stagnant. There are MUCH wealthier podcasters that are light years more humble than these two have become. Everything came to ahead with the quite quitting episode which made me realize I have officially outgrown them. The problem is they haven’t really grown as people like the rest of the viewers have. So long GGE, it’s been real.

A huge downfall
I used to be a religious listener but now I can’t bear to listen. They’re entitled and self centered, but the worst part is they can’t take criticism. This last episode was the final straw. I really wish they’d branch out and make new content, but they’re very vanilla and anything “non-traditional” isn’t even spoken about. They should recognize their listeners are not all white, straight females and work to de-stigmatize other relationships.

I’m really so disappointed in how this podcast has turned for the worst. I’ve been a listener since the beginning and just unsubscribed. New episodes used to be the highlight to my week. Listening now just really makes me feel unsettled and like Ashley and Rayna and totally detached from their audience. If I could give it a zero, I would.
I used to really enjoy Ashley and Rayna. But then I realized that they are drifted so far from their original podcast. This week really proved that (and I doubt this review will change anything). Take a page from other podcasts and listen to your feedback and do better. The entitled attitude and self-importance radiates from each episode, and the episodes have turned into ad campaigns to pad their pocket books. It’s embarrassing; I know that you don’t want to work a 9-5, but take a page from corporate America and take feedback. You’re not better than it.

I can’t do it anymore. Their horrible takes on dating didn’t drive me away. The insufferable bragging didn’t drive me away. It’s being born on third and thinking you hit a triple.. then proceeding to shame everyone else. The sad thing is, they are at a fork in the road and they don’t even see it. They think because they still have good ratings they don’t need to listen to any feedback. They can either take recent feedback to heart, or they can dismiss it as “haters”… but in 3 years they’ll wonder where everything went wrong and how to get an audience again.

I’m a young listener. I started listening when I was still in college 3 years ago. It was great for a while. I felt like they were the older sisters I never had, giving me advice and helping me think through the big decisions in early womanhood. That changed about a year ago. Now I feel like they’re the criticizing aunts who you only listen to in order to hear the next ridiculous thing they say. Quite frankly, it’s insulting now, as a young woman, as a young professional, as someone who used to be impressed by these women. I only recommend this podcast if you want to feel humbled and shamed.

Downhill doesn’t explain it
The podcast has clearly gone down hill in the last 1-2 years but they refuse to accept or own any criticism or feedback. They have found success which is because of their listeners yet they disrespect us by churning out uneducated repetitive content and then “apologizing” when people get offended. They never miss a chance to talk about how rich they are. This is a dating podcast but neither of them date? Ashley is pushing 40 but acts like the biggest mean girl. I was a loyal listener for over 3 years, but I’ve seen a steady decline in the quality of the podcast. I highly recommend listening to some of the older episodes from 2018-2020, but after that, they’re spotty at best. The hosts used to be relatable and fun, but the success of the show and their improved financial situation (which, for the record, I am happy for them! They work hard) has led them to be entitled and very removed from the average person. As a relationship podcast, it’s baffling that they look down on people who use dating apps, don’t seem to date themselves, don’t have much interest in finding a partner and promote a lifestyle that is unattainable for the majority of people. These things aren’t necessarily bad, but it’s not what the podcast was meant for. I encourage them to do a rebrand because they can no longer lend insights on the topics they built this podcast on.

I really enjoyed the first couple of years listening, started back in 2019 and it was definitely entertaining and I loved the experts they brought on to talk! But now they seem to talk more about how amazing their lives are and their businesses and the advice is less relatable! I feel like I can’t grow with them as they are still wanting to go out and sleep around and participate in hustle culture… just doesn’t fit my life anymore. Need to turn it around
I’ve been here since the start and always enjoyed the levity that Rayna & Ashley brought to my Monday mornings. Lately, though - and especially with the ep this week on “quiet quitting”, the ladies seem pretty out of touch from their listeners. I don’t really care to listen to two people who haven’t worked a 9-to-5 in years complain about people not caring office culture or making their jobs their #1 priority. Their overall tone has shifted and they’re pretty condescending about their wealth/success. There’s a way to be tactful about your success without being off-putting - I hope they figure that out soon.

I used to love this podcast, but Ashley and Rayna have become so out of touch with their listener base it’s unreal. They used to bring on such interesting guests and have thoughtful, vulnerable conversations, but they have ditched that in favor of “solo episodes” with zero preparation or effort. Even when they do have guests on you can tell they barely prepared and spend the entire interview trying to put themselves at the center of the conversation. I can’t spend an hour of my life each week listening to their egos anymore.

Grown out of GGE
I’m 33, about Renya and Ashley’s age, and when I started listening I had just started seeing my now husband. R and A felt authentic, self deprecating, and relatable. But as I’ve aged they seem kind of stunted, maybe even, regressing? A lot of self promotion without self reflection - forget about being humble. With the pages of negative reviews and redundancy of episode topics, I’m not sure how much longer this “success” is going to last. Their “apology” about the quiet quitting episode missed the mark. I won’t be listening anymore, but Im curious to see if they will restructure and rebrand.

Declined to an irredeemable state
I’ve been a loyal listener for 3+ years and it’s been interesting watching the podcast decline over the last two years. I would recommend the episodes up until about mid-2020. Anything after that, I do not recommend. The hosts, particularly Ashley, have gotten really inflated egos. They just aren’t relatable anymore, and they actively advertise it. It’s like they don’t care about their listeners and only want to pat themselves on the back every chance they get. I’m really disappointed in them. I used to look up to and admire them, but I do not want to be like them anymore. I want to be down to earth, kind, good at communicating, patient, able to acknowledge my mistakes and genuinely self reflect on them and apologize. These ladies seem to lack a lot of those qualities. Their “acknowledgement of feedback” after their Quiet Quitting episode really solidified that. It completely missed the mark. Anyone they offended with that episode will not be pleased with the statement. It’s laughably bad. Bummed to be losing one of my favorite podcasts, but I don’t think I have anything to gain (not even a laugh) from this podcast anymore. On to find new ones!

Lol at their apology for the quiet quitting episode
Jumping on the bandwagon to say how horrifying the “quiet quitting” episode was this week - like so many others who wrote reviews about it, I used to love GGE but have felt that it’s really gone downhill the last few months. This episode put me over the edge and as soon as I finished it I unfollowed both co-hosts on social media and unsubscribed to the podcast. I saw they added an “apology” to the end of the episode so thought I’d give them a chance and give it a listen and was further disappointed - they laughed the entire time, acted like they didn’t understand why they needed to apologize, and the whole thing just reinforced to me how truly out of touch they are. As they say, byeeeeeee

Tone deaf
I am usually a big fan of theirs but the quiet quitting episode COMPLETELY missed the mark and was really tone deaf for a couple of women who do not have a typical job and earn a living by making us listen to 10 minute ad reads. Quiet Quitting the show I guess
This episode is so disappointing. It’s “this phrase doesn’t resonate with my personal experience so we don’t advise it” and the amount of times y’all called people just to turn around and then lost a TON of reasons why people don’t owe their company more than their job entails. Gone so far downhill
Used to love this podcast in its early years but now I can’t even get through the first 15 minutes before wanting to turn it off. Rayna and Ashley come off as unlikable and out of touch. The Quiet Quitting episode was my last straw.

Can’t do it anymore
I’ve listened to GGE since the beginning. Listening to their podcast has helped me get through a horrible breakup and get back out there again. Unfortunately, I truly feel that this podcast has gone downhill. It has become toxic and both girls have become very arrogant and difficult to relate to.

Finally Out
I’ve listened to this podcast for years and really enjoyed it, but it’s just gone so far downhill that I started unfortunately falling into the category of “hate watching” so I’m finally going to bail. It seems like they’re really not putting in the effort to craft a good episode anymore. They seem disorganized and often redundant and never get to a point. I don’t mind a little random rambling in the beginning of an episode but once you get to the topic (which takes around 45 minutes due to all of the ads for their sponsors and their own company) you should have a plan. They seem to just spin off in whatever direction. Sometimes having a guest helps, but often they interrupt them anyway and don’t get as much out of them as they could. I think it would really be beneficial is they went back to more structure, took some emails from the audience and gave advice, did some games, etc. Right now it just seems like the podcast is one long ad with breaks for them to jerk each other off about how great they are and how well they’re doing. I hope they get it together because I would come back, but they don’t seem to pay attention to much constructive criticism. I think this might have just run it’s course.

Fun podcast but not self aware
I love A and R’s dynamic, there’s a good give and take of banter, and I feel like the topics are relevant to my life. I prefer solo episodes as opposed to when they have a guest on. One thing though— they need to ease up on the “we’re so successful.” I respect what they’ve built but it comes off as tacky and insecure to talk about their wealth/delta status/success as much as they do. It’s not doing what they think it’s doing and makes the episodes hard to get through, really taking away from the podcast as a whole.

Actually a fan
I love this podcast. It has taught me a lot over the years and led to some really insightful conversations with my partner (we listen together on road trips and I often talk to him about the things I hear when we don’t listen together). Not every episode is perfect and Ashley and Rayna can definitely make me cringe sometimes, but I guess I just don’t demand perfection. I love their dynamic and it makes me feel like I’m sitting in on a conversation with friends. I think some of their flaws are a product of being an elder millennial and it’s possible some of the negative reviewers just aren’t the right audience for this show. Learn to take what serves you and leave what doesn’t, it really is that simple.
Awesome game;)

Let’s talk about it
I just listened to the episode Let’s talk About it (bonus episode that’s not on their site anymore) and I’m am disgusted by Ashley. She wrote really racist things in her old blog like when she lost her passport and expected her cleaning ladies to find it and then said “the more I thought about it, I probably shouldn’t have mentioned a passport was up for grabs to 2 ladies that may or may not have been illegal immigrants” that was just 1 thing among others and in that whole episode she never apologies sincerely every time she said sorry she said “but…” and kept saying she dated black people and loved black culture so she isn’t a racist person which is such a cop out. And she defended herself saying it was a different time and all comedians were making jokes like that. She never once called what she wrote in her blog racist, just embarrassing.I am done listening.

A little out of touch
I used to listen religiously and over the last year I’ve stopped keeping up. For lots of other reasons other reviews have mentioned the pod is repeating the same jokes and content. Their most recent episode about “quite quitting” was wildly out of touch. Neither of these women have worked in a corporate setting for the past ~5 years and the episode reflects that. I do still love some episode and advice, but I’ve started to feel like the content is out of touch and unoriginal. It’s discouraging as a listener to feel my comments on the pod are taking as “being a hater” when it looks like their pod community feels a re-brand is needed. I’ve officially unsubscribed and I’m sad that Ashley and Rayna won’t read listener reviews or their community’s pleas for change.

I used to love GGE
I used to love this podcast but it has been steadily declining for the past 2+ years. It is pretty clear that Ashley has very low self esteem about not being on a relationship and she always talks down to Rayna and interrupts the guests. Ashley- we don’t care that you’re so rich and successful, that doesn’t make people with normal jobs and marriages and kids “mediocre.” It comes off as condescending.

Unrelatable & Out of Touch with their Listeners
I used to love this podcast. It was my favorite part of Monday mornings, but lately Ashley and Rayna have felt completely out of touch with their audience. For awhile I was so proud of how far they’ve come and the wealth they’ve accumulated, but now that they continuously shove their wealth down listeners’ throats it’s starting to put a bad taste in my mouth. Their episode on Quiet Quitting proved how out of touch they are with the realities of MOST jobs…nurses, teachers, OTs, constructions workers, etc. who have valid reason to “work their wage” and are already killing themselves making a living. Quiet Quitting is for THEM, the people who are beholden to corporations and institutions and are working too hard for what they’re making. Obviously, the Quiet Quitting movement doesn’t really apply to Ashley and Rayna as co-founders of several businesses, but it DOES apply to so many of their listeners. Their coverage on this topic really fell short. This podcast is great for anyone in the social media/influencer sphere who wants to hear from their peers, but it’s entirely out of touch from the majority of young adults they once appealed to.

Listener for years, no more
Well, this episode broke me. Such boomer energy, two rich white women telling the younger generation they’re lazy and entitled. Everyone else works just as hard as you do, and the fact that you don’t think so shows how out of touch you are. Y’all need some humility. The point of “quiet quitting” is that people should be able to have a nice life AND work regular hours. I’m a business owner too, and you know my employees don’t do? Work at all hours of the night and weekends. You must be such a nightmare to work for. You know what’s led to my success? Hard work, privilege, and luck. You’re blind to think that those last two had nothing to do with your success too. Your lack of empathy for young people who have been ground down by stagnant wages and unreasonable demands is astounding. I’m done with this podcast.

Used to love this show but this last episode really missed the mark. The constant privileged outlook on work culture and the relentless and cringe mentions of “hustle” and “grind” culture changed my perspective on the hosts and put me off the show. Not to mention the 5 minutes of ads every 10 minutes. I loved the in depth interesting topics that used to be addressed and felt so comfortable and at home listening to Ashley and Rayna. I hope they read these and understand it’s not just “haters” but people who care about the content they put out and want to support a great and thoughtful product.

Insufferable
I am in a state of shock over the “Quiet Quitting” episode, which was composed of mindless bragging about how “hard” they work and “hustle”. The privilege, arrogance, and pure audacity to promote toxic work culture when people are being literally exploited and struggling to pay their bills is too much. It has never been more clear that Ashley and Rayna look down on their audience—calling people lazy and mediocre for having “normal” jobs and working a “normal” amount is DEGRADING and so, so insulting. I have bought merch and attended live shows in the past, but their greedy boasting this episode made me NEVER want to buy a single thing from them again. I am actually deeply upset and disappointed by them. Just wow. I cannot believe how far this podcast has fallen.

Tone Deaf & Arrogant
I used to love listening to the girls from 2018-2020, but they have become so incredibly arrogant. Their episode on career advice is pretty much “be born upper middle class and work hard, then take a huge risk because your parents can always help you if you fall on your face!”. They call people struggling financially losers, they act as though they know everything and are experts in all fields, and consistently bring up their monetary status. They have become very tone deaf and pretentious, and their episodes have become VERY sloppy. I will no longer listen.

Finally done
I’ve listened to this show for ~2 years and noticed some rather sexist comments to professional male guests on the show that rubbed me the wrong way but, I am a strong believer that people should be allowed a chance to grow. I was honestly rooting for the hosts to have some recognition, given how vocal they are about sexist treatment of women but they never did. Both hosts follow the rather antiquated idea that treating men the way women have been treated is cool and miss the fact that, if it is unwanted and unappreciated from professional guests, it is harassment. It’s honestly cringe to listen to. The sex toy company they’ve started was really one of the last straws. Instead of lifting up the marginalized women and people of color in the sex toy and pleasure industry, they decided to put their name on products that have been around (maybe not in rose gold) for a while, effectively creating competition in the market and funneling profits away from the people that were already in the space into their own pockets. The concept of their app combines an ideas from a few previous sponsors. They could have made business decisions to include the companies and brands who have supported them but instead decided to become their competition. Unfortunately, the fame and financial gains from their original success of the podcast is now also clouding out their relatability. Their most recent episode is hard to listen to, as it’s tinged with the sense that they believe their success is from their hard work and hustle alone yet, as the previous paragraph mentions, they have chosen wealth over creating a truly innovative, inclusive, and sex-positive community. And for that reason, I’m out. You should just follow the podcasts of the professionals they interviewed instead; you’ll learn way more from them than you will their ill-prepared interviews.

I used to love this podcast
This used to be such a funny and relatable podcast but as of recently Ashley and rayna have seemed out of touch. Instead of getting relatable dating content there’s so much out of touch content where they talk about how much their traveling, the fancy hotels they stay in and how the only good dating app is raya. I really didn’t like a recent episode with Jared fried where they just bashed on dating apps. Some of us are out here trying to find love and because of our lifestyle our best options are dating apps and it doesn’t feel good to go to what used to be your fave podcast to hear the hosts bash people who are trying.

The reviews say it all. Used to be a Super fan, but now the podcast is so cringe. I used to love them but they are so far from reality and their inflated sense of self blinds them from seeing the decline of their fan base due to that fact that they have become insufferable. Ashley is a wannabe New Yorker/ “comedian” and Rayna who used to be down to earth has now become the yes- man of Ashley. The only positive thing about Ashley is that she can carry her giant head around, which is impressive considering it’s mass.

Jared Fried is unfunny and annoying, stop having him as a guest 🙄🙄🙄. Long time listener but I have to agree with all the other recent reviews and move on as well. I can no longer relate to these girls who use their listeners/followers for social and monetary gain with nothing valuable to offer in return. What used to be an uplifting, educational and motivational pod is now replaced with unethical Ads for products they don’t use or care about, the same old unfunny and raunchy stories, self bragging and downright dangerous advice. I wouldn’t want to date people like them so why would I even consider taking their advice on dating? Makes no sense anymore. It makes me sad but they did this to themselves.

Episode 233… Needed this one. Beat myself up for a long time on my last fling. It is very humbling to be degraded by someone you’re dating that should never have even been in your life in the first place. And on a normal day you would have never given them a chance, could have spotted the red flags from a mile away. But in a moment of weakness, for one reason or other, you let this one get by. This episode nailed it.

So many ads, so much of Ashley giving dating advice when she almost 40, alone and constantly mentions her highschool ex boyfriend 🙄. Between the adds and now vibes only there is hardly any good content. The only good part is the vibes only ads when you can feel Ashley’s pain saying the Rayna is sold out. Lol. The Fall of GGE 💔
Like so many others, have enjoyed this podcast for so many years and recommended it countless times. I can’t even stand to listen now! Not only are they out of touch with their audience (ppl who got them rich enough for a Rolex and first class in the first place), but instead of focusing on new, creative content to engage listeners they’re axing the segments we loved most and replacing it with more ad time. And definitely questioning their integrity after they stuck with Daily Harvest & bashed Pendry. A little more self awareness and willingness to adapt would go so far. I don’t want to see them fail, I loved this podcast, but they’re going downhill fast and don’t seem to notice it.

I agree, it’s gone downhill
I’ve been listening for years and I agree with other recent reviews, the podcast just isn’t the same as it used to be. I do think Rayna and Ashley have remained very clear and admirable in their positions about women’s rights in general which is of course awesome, but yeah, the content just isn’t as good as it used to be. I loved this podcast. I will never stop recommending older episodes to friends. I feel like the older episodes really made me more confident in my dating life and brought tough topics to the table with in-depth and fresh perspectives. Unfortunately, now, more than HALF the episodes’ runtime is ads and nothing to do with the topic. I’ll never forget what this podcast has done for me, but I will no longer be tuning in to something that feels more like promotional material than content that truly has passion and good intentions behind it. :( hope these ladies figure it out and pivot. I used to LOVE gge back in 2018-2020. I would look forward to their shows and listen first thing Monday mornings. Recently it feels like the success of the show is getting to Ashley and Rayna’s heads. They constantly interrupt guests, repeat the same jokes over and over (e.g. Rayna LOVES bjs - we get it, we’ve heard it a million times), they don’t read the books that guests are there to promote, and the conversations are surface level and boring. It’s gotten even worse lately with the podcast feeling like its an afterthought for them and just a way to finance their luxury vacations that they make sure to brag about for an entire hour. Not to mention Ashley joking about her multiple DUIs. Bring back the old gge!

This podcast used to be so good! I wish there was more vulnerability and openness. I also think Ashley doesn’t treat Rayna very well. I love this podcast! I’ve shared it with all of my friends! And I’ve always looked forward to listening on Mondays! However, I do feel like the show has become really repetitive. There are other shows that have been around for the same amount of time and they’re still bringing new topics/ ideas/ still engaging with their audience. Agree with others
I agree with others, used to love this pod and look forward to every episode. I still enjoy parts of it but it just doesn’t feel relatable and fresh anymore. It’s not about the fact that they are more successful- plenty of podcast hosts are very successful and make a lot of money - but the way that they talk about most things comes off as preachy and condescending. I wish they were more vulnerable about their own dating lives and the things they are working on as well, instead of just framing it as we’re so perfect and no one is good enough men are trash, etc., that’s what people can connect to.

As many others have stated, the podcast has changed so much! I started listening in 2018, I used to look forward to Monday morning episodes. They’ve slowly started declining to the point that I had to unsubscribe. It almost feels like a tv show that has too many seasons and the last seasons feel forced and make you cringe. The episodes almost feel like they have nothing to talk about anymore? I used to also look forward to the intros and solo episodes. However, now they just catch us up on their luxurious travels and they are repetitive. I miss the experts that they used to bring on and have meaningful discussions with.

Agree with so many others. Used to love this podcast. Lol to continue to advertise daily harvest is so beyond tone deaf. They have so many other ads, it’s clear they’re being greedy at this point. Also so into themselves (confident v cocky is a fine line) and how they make soooo much money now it just feels so ostracizing. I used to listen every week and recommend this podcast to friends but I don’t anymore. The girls have become so condescending and unrelatable. For instance, Ashley specifically said in a recent episode “hinge isn’t my world anymore” since she got on Raya. Mixed feelings…love it but also kinda hate it?
I started listening to this show in early 2018. It has been my favorite for years, I have never missed an episode. They’re had a lot of great guests, and I’ve learned a lot overall from this podcast. It makes me so sad to say, but the show has definitely gone downhill, especially in the last year. All the bragging :( it’s just so bad. I’m too embarrassed to recommend this podcast to anyone now, I even get embarrassed playing it in front of my boyfriend because too many parts just make me cringe. I will still listen, for now, and I hope some changes can be made and it’ll bring back a bit of the old GGE vibe. There should be a list of things to stop bringing up like rayna traveling the world, any college stories from Ashley, rayna liking blowjobs. Bring back the games, that is everyone’s favorite part!! The interviews do seem very short and surface level these days as well, I would love to see a longer, well conducted interview with an expert. It’s been so long! Still love them both, hopefully this is just a weird phase and they’ll start acting more down to earth and relatable soon. 99% of your listenership can’t get on Raya, can’t go on luxury European vacations, isn’t spending time at a beach house in the hamptons, etc. Hoping this isnt going to end up turning into a full blown dumpster fire. Save it while you still can! You have so many loyal listeners who want this.

Miss the old GGE!
This pod helped me get over a serious breakup in 2019 and I always looked forward to their episodes. Now I sometimes don’t even listen to an episode for weeks. They used to make me laugh so hard and had interesting conversations about dating and sex. Now they barely talk about their dating lives and seem to brag about their riches and success to the point where they are no longer relatable. The guest portion is the smallest amount of time and the ads are overwhelming now. Ashley keeps looking down on Hinge and Bumble mentions how she’s ‘above’ those apps while I and many other listeners are exclusively using those apps. I just can’t relate to these women any more and it is a shame.

Used to look forward to a new ep every week but they’ve gotten so conceited and each ep is both an ad for their new company and an opportunity for them to brag about how rich they are. They’re out of touch, unqualified to give the advice they give (how can you give relationship advice when you haven’t had a serious long term relationship in 10+ years?), and treat serious topics (alcohol, eating disorders, money) horribly insensitively. Slowly becoming more and more disappointed in them and don’t even bother listening anymore.

Episode 210: literally felt her pain and my heart broke all over again
When I hit play for this episode, I was not expecting to feel the emotions of my recent heartbreak all over again. In a similar way, my significant other broke up with me out of no where. The way Emily described what she felt during her breakup (like she couldn’t breathe) was extremely relatable. It is not something I would even wish on my worst enemy. I have listened to almost all of the episodes but was hesitant to listen to this one. Mostly because I wasn’t ready to hear about how to move on from something I wasn’t ready to let go. There are days that I still find myself going over those emotions again and there are days where I am ok. This episode was a good reminder that eventually I will see a light at the end of the tunnel and that I just have to roll with my emotions, like a roller coaster in a healthy way. Keep the funny and relatable episodes coming!!

Love this podcast - ignore salty reviews!
This has been my go-to podcast for over two years now. I have laughed, cried, and learned with these girlies. I love the unique mix of funny episodes and more serious ones with experts in sex or relationship fields. Their live shows are amazing and these are truly great entertainers and people! The people leaving bad reviews saying that the hosts have “changed” and are “cocky” because they are successful really need to think about if they’d say this if the hosts were men. This truly is perpetuating a double standard - these women work their a**es off every day and their entrepreneurial and aspirational qualities are something that they should be proud of. Stop shaming them for being confident and proud of their success - you wouldn’t do it to a male comedian or celebrity. They have worked hard for many years and shouldn’t feel like they have to hide their vacations from their listeners. Ash/Rayna; ignore the haters and know your real fans see your true colors and value you! Keep popping off about vibes only - we know how hard you’ve worked on this and are here to support! Only thing that has ever rubbed me the wrong way is Ashley’s off-the-cuff comments about her DUIs (in older episodes) because I feel it was kind of downplayed. Everyone makes mistakes and it takes grit to own up to them, but a more serious tone would probably go over better with listeners. There have been a lot of Ad reads lately but this is normal in free podcasts and it’s easy to just skip through.

Ads, Ads, Ads
I really enjoy listening to Ashley and Rayna especially as a single female in her thirties. It’s nice to hear dating stories and relatable binge drinking nights from your twenties. I really hate the amount of ads. It takes away from the content when there are so many ads. It’s what makes me an infrequent listener.

ads are too long
Really wanted to get into this podcast but wow there are so many ads. I gave up 50 minutes into an episode when I realized I skipped through nearly 30 minutes of ads at this point and after skipping at least the last 10 minutes straight couldn’t find the end of the ad segment. I understand that’s how you make money but there needs to be some content.

Girls Gotta Ad
We get it, ads are why they are so rich and can brag about it every episode. But come on! What happened that the show became so boring. The show format is now: ad, ad, live show, tv chit-chat (best part), ad, ad, ad, mention how wealthy they are, ad, ad, Ashley mentions ex from high school, ad, ad, vibes only, guest, ad, ad, Rayna makes uncomfortable sex joke to guest, guest finally gets to talk about themself (which never lasts long before they bring themselves into it), and then end on something that will probably turn out to be a giant ad. This podcast used to be my Monday pick me up. Bring back the games! Or at the very least cut some of the ads, even two of the twenty would make a huge difference.

Miss the old days
This podcast has gotten me through some really hard times, was a staple in my week for years, and a pod I recommended to many of my friends. I’m sad how much it’s changed and is now half ads + intro and barely any of the topic. I know y’all have built something amazing and it’s important to promote yourselves and your sponsors because at the end of the day, the podcast is a business as much as anything else. But I really encourage you to take the feedback that I’m seeing in so many recent reviews. Y’all have a loyal listener base who have loved the pod and are now getting turned off. It’s not all new listeners who haven’t given you a chance. Please think about taking some of our feedback!

We get it Ashley, you’re SO cool
The girls usually mention on the pod that bad reviews are unnecessary, you don’t have to listen etc etc, but I echo the sentiment of many of the most recent reviews, and hope maybe this can be taken as constructive criticism. I’ve been listening for the last couple of years and really used to enjoy and look forward to it. Now some weeks I just skip it bc Ashley has become an obnoxious, self absorbed braggart and it’s just super cringey. Maybe it’s the editing, but I get the vibe Rayna is a bit embarrassed by her too at this point bc some of the most ridiculous, shallow comments of Ashley’s have been followed by silence or an “okay….” by Rayna. Ashley seems to have let her “fame” go to her head. Rayna continues to be funny, real, open and in touch. Branch out on your own, girl.

More Chelsea H. friend
I was such a huge fan of this podcast and have even attended two of their live shows but lately some of the episodes have become distasteful: over sexualizing and belittling women, your guests, and just sounding braggy about the things you do. What started off as a sexy and empowering podcast is now this one dimensional show that just feels off. I feel many of your audience is maturing and you gals have been left behind

I agree with Chelsea Handler
OG listener giving up. This show went from empowering women to belittling them. Plus, everything is about sex and how much head Rayna can take. I miss the old topics about dating and relationships! Not everyone wants to hear about choking and eating 🍑 every week. Enough.

Show has become an infomercial
I have loved your show for two years, looking forward to my Monday morning commute so I can listen to the show. The past few episodes haven’t been hitting quite the same. I get that you just launched your new business but it seems like the intros have just become one long infomercial. I feel like I am listening to a sales pitch the entire time and it really takes away from my enjoyment of the show. There also seems to be a “spark” missing in recent episodes. I hope eventually you will stop using the entire episode for self promotion and get back to the show I used to love.

I love your podcast I truly do you touch on so many interesting topics. I love how sex positive you girls are, it’s extremely refreshing! As a recently single 30 year old (just turned) I really resonate with your topics and stages in life. With that being said I always skip through y’all’s intro as it’s 30min it’s long and it can get a little annoying or a bit too much. I know some of my friends who originally recommended me this podcast stopped listening due to that.

Use to be my favorite
This podcast is what got me into podcast. I’m happy for their success and they will continue to have my support but it just isn’t the same. Episodes feel repetitive and their ads and intros are so long now. The interviews don’t feel in depth like they use to just like other people said. They do make it seem like if you work a regular job you’re just some kind of loser who doesn’t work hard enough to get what they have. Aren’t we supposed to be empowering women? I do agree with them politically. They’ll always hold a special place but they just aren’t the podcast I look forward to every week anymore.

Use to love them
I use to be enamored of the women in this show but Lately they have become kind of insufferable. On two recent episodes they have spoken about traveling in thirties and “earning” to stay at posh spots and not sharing rooms. Kind of tone deaf - do teachers or nurses not “earn” things. I don’t know they have become kind of self absorbed and pretty self congratulatory. It’s been hard to take recently

More Interview Airtime!
I’m a long-time listener and have always love the longer intros (~20/30 mins) before a deep dive into the interviews/topic. Lately it feels like the intros are the main part of the show. I don’t begrudge the ad reads (it’s a free podcast after all), but please go back to having such great meaningful interviews. The questions & depth used to be so great! Now it just feels like they're bringing guests on to talk with side commentary, not interviews delving for more than what the guest already prepped to say.

The best dating podcast for actual adults
As I approach my thirties, this has become my favorite podcast. The guests are fantastic. The episodes are insightful, thought provoking, and entertaining. Intros are a tad long but I don’t mind. Nosedive
Please take note of the extreme increase in number of low ratings over the past few months. It is glaringly clear to long-time listeners that Rayna & Ashley have fully lost touch with their listenership, and only continue to get worse. The self-entitlement, nonexistent advice, disingenuous ads, and insufferable attitudes have made this show completely unlistenable

I used to love this podcast and Ashley’s confidence, however now I feel like she is so rude to Rayna and even the guests… I cannot stand how she condescendingly corrects Rayna or needs to put in her input and re-say what Rayna said but better or more grammatically correct...weird energy. Part of what makes Rayna herself is her silliness and the listeners are here for it. Ashley…girl you need to relisten to yourself and really HEAR how you speak to others… learn to listen without the intent of responding.

I’ve listened to every episode of this show and it’s just gotten to the point that the hosts are out of touch with reality. This last episode talking about if you date someone who can’t fly first class… yea that’s what matters in a partner. The girls have been out of the dating and relationship game too long to be giving dating and relationship advice. Maybe they should do a show about being single and happy forever 🤷🏼♀️ Will keep trying but I wish they would listen to the reviews and take some criticism from them

The show has funny parts, but can’t get behind a lot of the carelessness around men. if you are going to talk about giving every man in NYC a BJ , you should also talk about going on PREP and getting HIV tested. It’s wrong to encourage young women to be reckless when dating. Wake up

Going down
This show used to be one of my favorites but WOW the hosts really think they are amazing and are obsessed with themselves. Would do you good to gain some self-awareness and humility and learn to listen and not just talk about yourselves. When you have interesting guests on who are experts we want to hear from them not your “expertise.” Doubtful anything will change as it’s clearly echo chamber over there - rather than reflect on ways to improve they consistently roast people who try to give legitimate feedback.

Great but we need an ad-free version
Found GGE through the U Up? podcast, but I have to say GGE is definitely my favorite of the two now. Ashley and Rayna talk so openly about so many topics, provide insight and acceptance for some less-embraced lifestyles (no kids club here! 🙌🏽). I love listening to women talk about the joys of sex, singleness, independence, etc. while also acknowledging that there are people on the other side whose opinions and experiences are just as valid. Agree with the many comments about too many ads, though. If they could consolidate the ads to 5-10 minutes per episode, I’d enjoy it so much more. I do a LOT of skipping ahead. Love the humor in their ad-reads, but it takes away from the flow of conversation sometimes.

Regular listener from 2018-2020- can’t stand this pod anymore
I used to love listening to this podcast. The first episode I listened to in 2018 was about how to handle going through a breakup and it really helped me at the time. I felt that the topics and episodes were helpful and really gave me insight on dating advice for a long time. However, since 2020 I stopped listening to the podcast on a regular basis. From time to time I will check out a new episode and it’s changed so much, so I can barely get through it. So many ads and it’s all politics and less helpful advice. Sad to say but I’ve unsubscribed.

It really pains me to to say this bc I love the podcast so much, but the vibe of it feels so much different over the last year or so. The pod seems like an afterthought to both of them. There seems to be such an emphasis on the live shows and on their new product launch, but very little thought put into the podcast. The girls don’t seem excited to record and their convo seems strained. I hope it improves.

So sad
This was favorite podcast The whole thing feels like a commercial now. From one ad to them talking about their vibe company for 3 episodes straight. You have to fast forward 30-45 minutes just to get to the actual episode… And I hate how if Ashlee disagrees with a guest or they want to do something slightly different than what she would do, she belittles them & is rude. I just feel like it’s really immature. Also, how upset you get about other women's life choice is kind of concerning to me. I appreciate Rayna for keep things light, fun, & upbeat. I’m so sad to be unsubscribing but it’s just not what it used to be.

Overall funny when it’s the actual show but the longest commercial breaks ever including now for their own new vibrator company, literally fast forwarding 30 sec over and over and over and still in ads. Same feelings as other long time listeners
Used to love this pod. Lots of ads for sponsors and for their new product launch which is understandable but too much — could have been an additional pod for that, not the weekly. I think what listeners, myself included loved about the older episodes was Ashley and Rayna just talking as one would to a close friend — those pods were much more relatable and enjoyable than the ads/promotional pods and even more enjoyable than the guest episodes.

Long Time Listener
I have listened to GGE since 2019 and am an avid listener. Rayna and Ashley have the ability to build a community and make you feel like you’re listening to two big sisters in a living room. They have the best humor and I love all the guests they bring on. I’ve been to two live shows and listen in every week! Rayna and Ashley, if you read these, the one thing I would love to see more of is content around self-improvement as a 20-30s female. (I know it’s a dating podcast, but the episode with Ramit Sethi and the tid bits of life advice you give throughout all the episodes have been some of my favorites.) You are both so successful and I’m sure have so much more life advice to give that I would love to hear as an oldest sister / gal navigating her twenties! Love love love y’all!

Mixed feelings, frustrating interview style
I have mixed feelings about this podcast. I find Ashley and Rayna fairly entertaining to listen to and I connect with some of their conversations and topics, but I wouldn’t necessarily consider this podcast informative or helpful. However, my biggest holdup with this podcast is their interview style. Ashley and Rayna are good at bantering with each other and some of their friends, but many of their interviews (especially ones with legitimate professionals with interesting knowledge) fall so flat and make me cringe. I’m not sure if that’s cause they try to make things funny, but often they interrupt the guests, make unnecessary and unhelpful side comments and lackluster jokes, and struggle to ask questions that provide valuable answers. Whether or not you like this podcast will likely depend on what you find valuable/hope to gain in listening to podcasts. Personally, I’ve decided to tune out and find new podcasts I find more engaging.

I followed GGE on Instagram for quite some time because someone shared them on their story. I had not much clue who they were but they seemed fun. Months later , someone gave me a pair of iPods. Up until then, podcast were foreign to me and something I didn’t think I’d be interested. They were the first ones I decided to listen to. Now, im done almost all of the episodes, have tickets to two shows this summer, and feel like I know them 😂. They’re funny, real, and relatable. They help me make sense of situations in my life and have also helped me view things in different perspectives. I look at things in the past and can kind of make sense of it or feel at peace with certain situations. I feel so much lighter in life and happier about where im at. The only sucky thing is im almost out of episodes 😂😂. The greatest discovery of 2022 for me ! GGE. See ya in Philly (Ash solo and the tour :) ) xox , Jax

I would always get excited to listen every week, but have recently stopped listening. I’m really happy for the success of their platform and all that they have done, but am just having a hard time relating to their content lately. Not the same as it was
I am a listener from the beginning and I have recently lost interest in the show. I always leave an episode feeling annoyed (manly at the long intros which often times feel like I’m listening to high school girls gossip) and unsatisfied wanting more from the gusts who they always talk over. I also feel like Ashley is so often rude to guests and it makes me sad how much she makes fun of Reyna. I used to so prefer GGE to CHD but actually CHD has grown and become much more of an interested podcast than GGE because she has grown and evolved like her listeners have. I know it’s mainly about sex and relationships but you can be more than just that!

Original listener tuning out…
I used to love this podcast and started listening in 2019. I saw another review say that this podcast seems to have run its course, and I completely agree. The girls do not seem to have grown or matured over the past several years. Their incessant laughter at things that truly aren’t even funny, their CONSTANT vulgarity (which you can tell even makes their guests uncomfortable oftentimes) and party girl lifestyles are getting really old. Call me old fashioned, but talking about the n*de photos you’re always taking and guys you hook up with out on your tour when you’re pushing 40 isn’t really a good look. Would love if this podcast had evolved the past several years as the hosts and their audience grew. And sadly if either of them sees this review they’ll just make fun of it and tear it down, per usual, because god forbid someone criticizes them. I’ll now be looking for more meaningful and deeper podcasts that focus on career and personal growth as a woman in her 30s.

New listeners: don’t bother
My girlfriend sent me this podcast episode and I’m 36 minutes into it and so far it’s been all talk about their tour and other meaningless stuff unrelated to the topic advertised. And maybe that would be okay if the hosts welcomed new listeners and gave a little info on the podcast's format—-but this show assumes you’re a long-time listener or at the very least someone who has 36 minutes to waste. Don’t bother.

This show does a wonderful job of approaching so many topics and making me laugh in nearly every episode. Even the ads. Seriously nobody makes advertisements more entertaining… it’s an art form. Keep it up!!

Skeptical to Obsessed!
I absolutely love this podcast! At first being a woman of color I wondering if I could relate to some of the topics just based off of the Podcast cover. I know it sounds bias, however I am just used to listening to more ethnic/urban shows. Wow was I in for a treat! From the first episode I listened to I’ve loved Ashley’s personality and the fact that she gives off cancer vibes like myself.. and Rayna’s personality just may as well be my own too. I’ve went back to 2018 and started to listen from there. I’m no where near caught up but that’s fine by me because it gives me more content to listen to at work😂. I love you guys authenticity ❤️. There’s definitely never been a time that I listened to this show and didn’t laugh. I am so happy I took the first listen!

Immature
I’ve been a listener since 2018 and used to love this pod, but it really just seems like it’s run it’s course. There has been so little growth of the hosts that each topic just feels like a repeated, old, dead horse. Once I discovered the girls gotta eat Reddit page, I realized I wasn’t alone in these feelings of disappointment.

Another lost OG listener
I’m yet another OG listener who is saddened by how out of touch the hosts (primarily Ashley) have become. Your listeners are quite aware that you’re now wealthy, thanks to those loyal listeners/subscribers, and while we can certainly celebrate women’s successes it doesn’t need to be reiterated on a weekly basis when so many people are struggling to make ends meet due to rising costs in nearly every facet of life. It’s very tone deaf and off putting. I know you “literally don’t care” what your listeners think, but I hope in time there might be some self-reflection.

OG listener now turning out
Man, I used to love this podcast and recommend it to all my friends but it has really seemed to go downhill lately. Like most recent reviews/forums have said, the success and money has really gone to Ashley’s head. She constantly interrupts her guests and Rayna. The guest who do have valuable advice seem to get annoyed with their constant innuendos and inability to listen. I really hope they improve for the better, but recently it’s just played out. And knowing Ashley she will read these, laugh, and say she doesn’t care. But come on girl, it’s time to be vulnerable and real again.

Comedy and good advice
I’ve been a listener since 2019 and used to LOVE the podcast. They’re professional and have really great guests and I really like the structure of the first 20 min being casual and the topic is more formal. Love the recs too. That being said, I came to write this review because I felt like they have been really pushing their opinions on people and negging anyone with other choices. It started after the “we don’t want kids episode” which, neither do I, but I’ve been taken aback a few times by cavalier comments about motherhood and having a boyfriend in general. I still listen and like listening, I just hope this is a phase because it definitely doesn’t represent the previous 5 years of podcasts.

Money money money
All they care about is bragging about how much money they make (especially Ashley). I’m happy they are successful, but its starting to get old. Content is the same as it always has been. And the adds are soooo long. Unfollowing.

Younger listener moving on
OG review(2018): So happy I found GGE this year and can not wait to see y’all in Detroit! The only thing that irks me is how often Ashley interrupts Rayna & guests in particular. Hopefully you’re open to constructive criticism and are willing to work on it Update: ~10 years younger than the hosts but their maturity level (as it comes off on the pod) is so off-putting. Time to evolve, ladies.

Not loving the pod lately
I have been a longtime listener but haven’t been tuning in lately. Ashley comes off very judgmental of people who maybe haven’t made the same life choices as she has and it seems almost defensive. I often end the podcast feeling kind of bummed out and a little judged? I also think the aspects of the show I used to find entertaining or funny are getting a little played out and coming across and immature. Sadly I feel like this feedback will just be ridiculed by the hosts.

Ick Alert
I used to really enjoy the show a couple years back but the girls have just really gone downhill for me. Ashley constantly pushes her views on to others (says she’s not judging if you feel differently but…she is) and all Reyna can contribute about herself is how she loves to give head and her sexual conquest. It feels pretentious at times and the jokes come off as insecurity or projection. I just don’t get that good feeling I used to from this show. Shame.

Hoping for change
I have been a loyal listener of this podcast for over two years and appreciate balance of humor paired with serious and important topics that these ladies curate for their listeners — I look forward to it every week. That being said, after coming across a video on Instagram of Ashley justifying body shaming a man because she’s wearing a Rolex, I’m grappling with whether or not I can continue to listen. The constant personal narrative around her success somehow makes it okay for her to lack any sense of humility or vulnerability. I 100% feel that as women we should be celebrating our success and lifting ourselves and others up, but to use it as justification to act like an a** hole is starting to take its toll on me. After reading these comments I know I’m not the only one that feels this way. Bottom line: this podcast used to make me feel empowered after listening and now I feel sad and frustrated. I hope things can change.

Not the same
I used to love this podcast but Ashley and Rayna have let the success go to their heads and the quality of the podcast has been affected. Constantly bragging about having money, being “famous” and cackling about inside jokes nobody understands, all off putting to listeners. It’s obvious they do very little research on their guests, don’t read their books and seem to talk over them with cringey comments or using the guests to validate their own life choices. A lot of episodes seem lazy. I would urge them to listen to their old episodes and figure out how to recapture what it used to be.

Been there for me for years//informative//funny
I found GGE years ago when I came back to work after maternity leave. In that time of my life I felt very alone and like I had no friends but listening to Rayna and Ashley was a nice light to have during my PPD/A. 2 years later and I’m still listening! Not only are they hilarious but they have really great episodes with DOCTORS and THERAPISTS with some really helpful information about everything from sex to marriage to SELF LOVE etc. 10/10 will always recommend. Thank you girls for helping me learn to love myself again.

Less blow jobs (we get it Rayana you like to give head let’s move on) and more investing In your guests and the topics at hand. The episodes feel lazy. Spend more time cringing than laughing. Stopped listening. I go to the subreddit to see if maybe things have changed but alas, no. Same complaints.

This show has helped me feel empowered and worthy
Okay hopefully this isn’t too long lol but I’ve been like binge watching you guys ever since my friend told me about your show and I was listening to one of the first few episodes about sleeping on the first date. It’s been a year since my long term (toxic) relationship ended and at one point Rayna said something along the lines of “I hope you all have been treated well at some point by somebody that really cared about you” and I just got so emotional! This podcast and you guys just make people feel seen and heard and me being single for a year has been such a roller coaster but I’m finally feeling good about it. So thank you for being on that journey with me! ❤️

So much potential
I’ve been listening to this podcast since 2018 and love Ashley and Rayna for all the insight, life lessons, perspective, and laughs they’ve brought to my life. I’ve noticed lately it seems like there’s a lack of openness when it comes to valuable discussion with some of the people they interview. I think a podcast that features a comedian friend of theirs and then a podcast that features an informative professional of a certain field don’t necessarily need the same caliber of inside jokes / banter brought to the discussion so frequently. I just think there’s a lot more potential for great insight and information that’s not being reached as much as it used to be. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a superiority complex has been created with Ashley and Rayna regarding their life choices. While it may not be intentional (I don’t think it is), the way they speak about things that don’t align with their opinions can come across condescending (based on the need to always interject with jokes when any subject matter they may not relate to comes up). I think this is more of a matter of knowing when it’s the right time to make jokes and when it’s the right time to listen. But I’ve loved following along with this podcast and definitely admire all that Ashley and Rayna bring to the table and have accomplished.

Not a good show anymore
I’ve listened to GGE for two years and used to love it. It used to be relatable, informative, comforting, and entertaining. Now it feels very immature (I am only 27) with the hosts being disrespectful to the guests, bragging all the time, not seeming prepared for episodes, and repeating the same jokes over and over. Every episode the last few months has made me cringe with secondhand embarrassment, but what finally made me decide to unsubscribe was attending a live show. The show is way overhyped, the way they treat audience members is so uncomfortable, and frankly it was a chaotic mess and not in a fun way. As a previously loyal fan I honestly felt scammed by how bad the show was. I wish Rayna and Ashley were open to listener feedback but they are not.

Not enjoyable anymore
I used to love listening to GGE. I loved hearing from women who choose to be child free & live their lives to the fullest while single. But their recent episodes are hard to listen to. I wish they would actually engage with guests & be genuinely inquisitive instead of hopping from question to question and bringing every point back to themselves. I feel like they are choosing topics that are popular & have potential but they don’t seem interested in actually learning about these topics. They have had some amazing guests, but the same guests have much better conversations on other podcasts.

Great except the first thirty mins
I love this podcast, but only if I skip the first 20-30 minutes. I really wish they would skip the off topic rambles that they start with and just get to the meat of the episode (whatever the title says). Once they’re on topic, the content is top tier. I just wish they’d save all that extra talking for their membership episodes.

Gone downhill
I used to love this podcast but it’s gone SO downhill. If you can get past the 15 min of them hyping their live shows and merch, now we have to sit through cringe worthy interviews where they talk over their expert guest or laugh like middle schoolers over the subject matter. I don’t say this willy nilly but it’s no wonder this used to be a relationship podcast and is now about one night stands on the road. They act like their lives are aspirational but really it just seems like they love picking up guys when they’re visiting different towns and that’s not really realistic (or desirable) for a lot of listeners. Also, we get it, you make good money. Bragging about it every week is gross.

Read the room (Rayna)
Ok, these ladies (mainly Rayna) must learn to “READ THE ROOM”! If you want to take your podcast to the next level and interview legit guests & professionals, it’s imperative that you learn this skill. It’s like you have only one “setting” or one “tool” in your toolbox. The crude, overtly sexually explicit commentary, is not always the answer. You need to be able to adjust accordingly. Otherwise, you should stick to what you do best! Just banter and gossip w each other! I mean at times it’s hard to listen to these interviews. The other a day… a gentleman was on discussing attachments, etc… You continuously interrupted w your “jokes” and I could hear the impatience in his voice. Like he was the school teacher just waiting for the “bad kids” to stop acting out so he could get on w his lesson plan! Also, Ashley is not always that funny Rayna. Her comments most often do not warrant that insane laughter that comes form you and takes minutes from which to recover. It hurts my ears sometimes! I’ve read some comments… perhaps you should take everyone’s “constructive” criticism into serious consideration before your next interview. Or… just play w Ashley and be yourselves and have a good time! That’s the part I enjoy most!

How they view their listeners
Yep I’m done subscribing after the huberman episode being the final straw. I feel like, as a listener/“snack” and former total fan girl they really misrepresent me/ us to their guests lately. I don’t just think about blowjobs and lap dances and exes all day. I am capable of understanding discussions about brain chemistry and having nuance. When they’ve shown that they can’t even read their guests books or know enough about them to have a back and forth dialogue, I give up. I’m a 30 year old career woman (their target demo) who takes my job seriously, If I showed up to a meeting that ill prepared I’d be fired. And after my job i can clock out and have talks with my friends about alcohol, vibrators, dating- we can do both! I don’t automatically call every professional man I have a meeting with “daddy”. It seems they struck gold early on with their raunchiness but it’s just been one note ever since. The lack of prep, recording in the back of the car in the way to their next luxury hotel, all of it has been a diversion I don’t love. Their listeners/ women in general are so multi faceted, intelligent, devoted to hobbies outside of men, etc that it’s super disappointing how they represent their fan base to their most recent guests. They come on with such expertise in these rich topics and then A&R constantly try to only relate it back to surface level dating or sex talking points that they’ve already beaten to death. Idk,I kniw they call everyone who disagrees or gives feedback “haters” but just writing this here in case they decide to start caring how they come across . Now to go find some new fav podcasts!

Give guests a time to speak
During interviews, they don’t allow the guests to finish a point or opinion. They interject or taking it in a sexual direction where it isn’t needed. Overall, the podcast gives another point of view on being single and dating.

Poor interviewing
I enjoy listening to the girls catch up on life together, but their interviewing skills are so poor. Constantly interrupting, trying to make everything a joke, and rayna’s horrible body language are just too cringe. I would avoid posting the videos of the interviews on social because all you can notice is rayna staring at herself on zoom or picking her fingers/biting her nails. It’s so unprofessional. Maybe just stick to gossip.

Getting hard to listen to
I used to love this podcast but lately they have become so hard to listen to. They constantly come off as arrogant and down right mean. The episode yesterday was borderline embarrassing. They don’t know how to act professional when they have certain guests on and during their interview yesterday they at times sounded like rude middle schoolers. Constant Body Shaming
I echo a lot of the reviews on here. Also, they constantly ridicule men for having small hands or small [literally anything else], but preface it by saying “I’m not body shaming...”. That’s literally the definition of body shaming. If your goal is to be in a long-term relationship, I wouldn’t take any of the advice these ladies dole out.

Getting cringy
I use to never miss an episode! But eeek seems to be getting more and more cringy, constantly doting on this “incredible life they have built for themselves” that’s all wonderful but that accompanied with the constant cackling over inside jokes is just ugh you can slowly start to sense the inflation of their egos. Ashley constantly interrupting guests again, you could tell for a while she was really working on that but the recent episode with Connor was beyond cringe between her constantly interrupting him and trying to finish his thoughts, the whole episode came off as two immature girls trying to be funny attempting to do an interview that was way over their head. You could tell he was a bit cringed as well sometimes it seemed and forced a chuckle here and there 💁🏻♀️ I’ll still listen occasionally so get your bread girls but maybe take a little constructive criticism, seems like listeners are having alot of the same thoughts.

Bullies
How hypocritical of them to very obviously drag Kane’s new gf after acting like they are the biggest advocates for women. Also, it’s interesting how they were so butt hurt about 1 completely taken out of context joke that Chelsea Handler made on her podcast, yet continue to make fun of people on their podcast AND constantly have to explain not to take their jokes too personally. Maybe it’s time to learn to take constructive criticism and work on your own fragile egos.

Going Downhill
Similar to a lot of the reviews I’m seeing, I used to be a huge fan of this podcast and the girls. Unfortunately, something just isn’t the same recently and their jokes are not hitting like they used to. Ashley gives me a bad vibe and has negative attitude about a lot of things. Overall, I find their topics somewhat interesting but I can sense the “fame” has inflated their egos. Updated: how am I supposed to take relationship advice from Ashley when she has not had a relationship in 10 years and she will turn down a guy just because the have small hands??! Shallow & immature.

I miss the old GGE content when you were both humble and down to earth. The comment on the most recent pod about always “being in the front of the plane” and flying first class was so cringeworthy. The number of times you have to mention how wealthy you are is sad and thirsty. I’ve seen other comments about this so I know others notice as well. Do better, be humble.

Really is my favorite podcast but sometimes Rayna just tries too hard. She agrees with everything Ashley says and just rephrases it. - The Power of Female FriendshipIt’s our 5-year anniversary episode (!!!) and we’re covering a lot of ground – sharing what we’ve learned over the last half-decade, gushing over our audience, and answering the questions you have about past hookups, our LA move, best/worst/drunkest guests, and much more (YES we are finally spilling the tea on the male escort interview that never aired and why). Then we’re moving into the friendship conversation – the importance and power of the relationships we have with our girlfriends, why and how we should celebrate friends’ accomplishments other than marriages and babies, and friendship meet-cutes (with some tips for making friends). We’re also (randomly) discussing our bad behavior as kids, why we hate a traditional baby/wedding shower, Ashley’s hydration journey update, Rayna’s water quirk, and an astounding/amazing listener message about butt stuff and having kids. Hope you enjoy and THANK YOU for five wonderful years! Follow us @girlsgottaeatpodcast, Ashley @ashhess, and Rayna @rayna.greenberg. Visit our website for tour dates, merchandise, and more.
