Toby is a leader in Artificial intelligence, he is a Scientia Professor at the University of New South Wales, he is the author of multiple books, including I t's Alive!: Artificial Intelligence from the Logic Piano to Killer Robots and 2062: The World that AI Made. He is the co-chair of the Effective and ethical development of artificial intelligence working group that consults with the Australian government on how to deal with Artificial Intelligence. He helped write an open letter arguing for the ban on autonomous weapons and is a sought after speaker and consultant on all things Artificial Intelligence and the ethical implications it is having.
