Entertaing and Informative
I’m a podcast junkie and a tech professional. This podcast is well produced, informative, and fun to listen to! So many tech podcasts are SO bad, I’m happy to report this one performs head and shoulders above most others. I was also concerned it was going to be kind of “doom and gloom” based on the write up, but it’s not at all.

Healthy dose of realism
Super great to find something centered on the developer and their mindset/career, instead of on the hype of any individual tech / framework. Highly recommended.

Great for How and Why
There are so many developer focused podcasts that center around the tech - it’s much more rare to find one trying to help developers with thinking longer term about their careers and their choices. Sean is a great interviewer and finds devs with genuinely different paths. Really well done.

- Mike BuckbeeMike Buckbee has had an eclectic career. On the surface it might seem like there's no plan but that's an illusion. His "go with the flow" approach resulted in several successful products and set him up for a consulting career as a marketing developer, a sort of hybrid between developer and marketer.0 comments0
- Peter Bhat HarkinsPeter Bhat Harkins got into programming at age 11 when he noticed the kid sitting next to him in touch-typing class was making a video game in Hypercard. Instantly hooked by the idea of interactive programs, Peter’s career in tech started in high school and passed through IBM, college, the .pro domain registry, the Washington Post, lots of consulting, and nowadays has him as admin of the Lobsters ] community.0 comments0

- Joel HooksJoel Hooks is the co-founder of Egghead.io. He also used to be a Flash developer. One day Steve Jobs wrote a memo and everything he'd put into becoming a world class Flash developer became almost useless overnight. In this episode we discuss how he got past that moment, and much more. What Joel says about himself: "I’m a software editor by trade, currently residing in Vancouver, WA. I’m a co-founder of egghead.io. Outside of lovingly shepherding software to release, I spend my time with my lovely wife Kristina and our five children. In 2013, I convinced my friend John Lindquist to take his YouTube videos that he had been making them for years and turn it into a business. He was skeptical, to say the least, but over the years since we've grown egghead from a stack of free lessons to well over a thousand individual lessons coming from more than 50 instructors. It's been an amazing ride!"0 comments0
