SO SO TOV!

Coming from a non-denominational Christian upbringing, I’ve developed many questions along the way about the relevance of a lot of the Bible. Often when I’d get stuck trying to understand a passage, I’d seek out unfulfilling English translations and commentaries, only to be further mired in half-baked rationalizations. Then one day it dawned on me that this ancient group of people, the Jews, that God’s redemptive story was recorded through STILL EXIST. God has preserved them as a living testimony, and we gentile believers do our faith a disservice by not nurturing to those roots for understanding. Finding Hyer Ground gives a grade-aleph examination of how the body of Messiah Yeshua got here, and how we can move toward unity in this world. I profoundly appreciate Gadi’s cultural and linguistic insights, watering this messianic gentile mind like a parched tree that’s been desperately craving a spring of resolving subtext. Also, don’t let the sly humor fool you—these episodes are deep and worth multiple listens. I highly recommend shelving your copies of Augustine, Luther, and Calvin, and subscribing to this podcast.
