- Tug Of WarPlayed across the ancient world, Tug of War is one of the oldest games known to man. Pitting two teams' strengths against one another, it remains a popular sport today. In this message, Pastor Ed Young teaches that we engage in a cosmic game of Tug of War the moment we realize that we are sinking in our sin and accept Christ as our Savior. The evil one doesn’t want us to rescue the lost. He tosses rational lies for not doing what God has tasked us to do, tugging us in the wrong direction. We have a culture in crisis, a cause commanded, and a world in need of a crew committed to rescuing others.0 comments0
- The Rescue: The Ring Is The ThingIn any rescue situation, the mission is always to save lives at all costs, to do the seemingly impossible, offering a second chance to those facing imminent physical peril. The same is true when it comes to our spiritual health. In fact, our need to be rescued by God is even more crucial to our ultimate survival. The Bible is an anthology with a central theme woven throughout the annals of time — rescue. God didn’t leave us to sink and drown in our sin and depravity. In his great love, he sent the ultimate lifeline to rescue humanity. He sent Jesus Christ to live perfectly, die sacrificially, and rise bodily, claiming victory over the grave and offering us the eternal hope of heaven. In this message, Pastor Ed Young reminds us to fix our focus on our God-given duty to seek and save lost people. He shows us that, while there’s a culture in crisis, Christians hold the true lifeline, the only real hope of rescue, and the ring is the thing!0 comments0
- The Blended FamilyCouples in blended — or “step” — families often feel misunderstood, even in the church. They struggle with complicated child behavioral issues, battle-pitched custody fights, and difficulty finding unity in co-parenting. That’s why NOW is the time for these families to feel heard, helped, healed, and hopeful about the future — in fact, with Jesus, the best is yet to come! In this sermon, Ed and Lisa Young discuss these crucial issues with Scott and Vanessa Martindale of Blended Kingdom Families. We’ll learn that, with God, we can become the most significant driving force that breaks the generational cycle of divorce. Collectively, we can propel the change our world so desperately needs, united as the restored family movement. Together, let's change the face of the modern-day blended family and forever alter history in the name of Christ!0 comments0
- Wake Up To Wokeism#wokeism #sermons #christianity #scripture When you're asleep, you don't know you're sleeping until you're awake — since we spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, we have a lot of waking up to do! In this message, Pastor Ed Young teaches that ideas have consequences — deceptive or dire ideas have destructive effects. We learn that Wokeism is a bad idea, and we must wake up to its aftermath, which originates with the enemy himself. And we’ll discover that life fires on all cylinders when we wake up to knowing the Lord. Are you woke yet still in slumber, or genuinely awake?0 comments0

- Ed Young Messages - Video Aug 28 · 33m Has The Church Gone WOKE?WOKE-OLOGY What is “woke”? Even our churches shy away from addressing what being woke means and alerting us to its havoc. - How to have a Christian WorldviewWhat is the Christian worldview? What is the woke worldview? What is your worldview? - What does it mean to be "Woke?"#wokemeaning #sermons #fellowshipchurch #whatthebiblesays What does it mean to be "Woke?" | A Biblical Perspective | Ed Young When you look up the meaning of “Woke” on the internet, the definition is: “being alert to injustice in society, especially racism.” But what does the Bible say? In this sermon, Pastor Ed Young brings a biblical perspective to this controversial topic. There is so much confusion regarding what it means to be “woke.” Some of us would say, “I’m not woke,” others would say, “I’m pseudo woke,” and some of us would consider ourselves “woke.” So how do we find out the true meaning of “woke”? Pastor Ed helps us define the “woke” worldview by looking at its values: racial justice, critical race theory, social justice, systemic racism, gender identity, and sexuality, as well as its foundations rooted in the teachings of Karl Marx (Marxism/Communism), Friedrich Nietzsche (Critical Theory), and Sigmund Freud (Post Modernism). Pastor Ed shows us the contradictions of the “woke” worldview and challenges us to adopt a Christian worldview founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.0 comments0
- The Power Of Your InfluenceWhat if God could use your story to change someone else's life? In this sermon, Ed and Lisa Young use stories from their recent roadtrip as an analogy for how God has given us each of us the power of influence and how God can use our story to make an impact on someone else. Learn about the importance of using your gifts and talents for God's glory and be encouraged to share your story with others!0 comments0
- Red, White, Blue and YouMany say that the birth of freedom occurred on July 4, 1776, when our nation’s forefathers signed the Declaration of Independence — but this statement is false. As crucial as this nominal event was for our great country, freedom long outdates it. Ultimate freedom was birthed over 2,000 years ago on a cross outside Jerusalem. Had it not been for Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, we would live in a very different America. In this sermon, Pastor Ed Young teaches what the Bible says about the colors of freedom and how they apply to our lives.0 comments0
