It’s easy to comprehend now because my teacher often does grammar with us. Anyways… What’s your favorite color? My favorite is Pupúra claro and rosa!

Amazing content!

Absolutely love this podcast. I’d say it’s for children anywhere from age 2-9 but truly for everyone because it’s so enjoyable for adults brushing up on Spanish and parents & caretakers, too! Evan and Vanessa are SO talented!

Love this podcast

Evan and Vanessa are so sweet, just warms my heart. Love the approach, the stories and the games - I would recommend this podcast even to adults who are completely new to Spanish and don’t mind some silliness.

Catchy & fun but would prefer that they stick to teaching Spanish

The songs are catchy, the vocabulary is simple. My kids really liked this. I love the idea of teaching kids a foreign language at a young age. The mouse & elephant are fun characters! Unfortunately I can’t recommend this to as many friends since Evan and Vanessa introduce the concept of same-sex couples in at least two different podcasts. So if that’s something you prefer to teach your young child yourself in your own time in your own way, that’s something to be aware of!

Five Stars!

Please stop with Mr. Mouse and Ms. Elephant! Everything else that we’ve listened to so far is fine or good, but these two characters you’ve created are inappropriate. We don’t need them to be flirtatious with each other (especially in a kids’ show), or sound so obviously like a guy imitating a female character and a girl playing a male character—it’s inappropriate.

So fun to learn and sing with Evan and Vanessa

My daughter and I love this podcast so much! Vanessa’s and Evan’s voices are so inviting, and we have already learned so much! The Montessori method is effective, and we especially love the original songs and Mrs. Elephant and Mr. Mouse skits! My daughter had some exposure to Spanish through school, but this podcast has us actually using the words we’re learning together in conversation. This is our favorite podcast to enjoy together, and we also love the music videos on YouTube. We couldn’t believe they made little pajamas for baby chicks in their Los Pollitos video! Their podcast and songs enrich our lives, and we are so very grateful! We also love all of the fascinating cultural traditions we are learning about.

We love this podcast!

My kiddos love this podcast. We love that they are short enough to listen to on a shorter car ride or between activities at home. We all enjoy the opening and closing songs, and I often find them singing these songs on their own while playing. I love that it is geared for beginners, and they enjoy practicing their new vocabulary with each other. Their favorite part is when Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Elephant come on; they get so excited. This podcast is excellent for young Spanish learners as it’s very age appropriate and charming. I highly recommend it!

Makes Spanish fun!

My 5 year old loves this podcast, and she has been tough to get interested in Spanish. When they ask a question and she loudly answers I. Spanish it’s so sweet. They speak a decent amount of English so it’s perfect for someone with no knowledge of Spanish, but also is fun and a confidence booster for a child with more advanced Spanish.

Making Spanish fun!

My 3 yo ad 5 yo (and me) all love this podcast. The songs are catchy and fun to sing along with. My kids sometimes resist Spanish, but not with this since it is fun and a very gentle intro. We’ve only listened to the first 6 so far but I hope it gets progressively more advanced as the kids know more words and expressions. Thank you guys!

This podcast offers a fun way to learn Spanish. It provides listeners the opportunity to repeat the Spanish vocabulary in numerous settings (songs, stories, classic listen and repeat) thereby making the new language more permanent in our minds. My kids love it and are learning!

My four kids range from 4-8 and all love this podcast, it’s all they want to listen to in the car. They love the songs, silly characters and I think they enjoy how relaxing it is. They are definitely learning Spanish words and I like that it reenforces what they learn at school. I’ve recommended to my friends with small kids!

Truly fantastic programming for kids

We stumbled across this podcast when it was just getting started and fell in love right away. Evan and Vanessa are great musicians and also great teachers, which is a such a strong combination for a kids music and language podcast. Everyone in our whole family loves the episodes — which is good, because my daughter wants to listen to them over and over! And it works— after a year plus of listening she has quite a Spanish vocabulary. EYS is truly some of the best kids podcast programming available!

Absolutely the best podcast for kids!

We are very selective about what we let our four year old son listen to/watch and have also practiced Montessori at home since our son was a baby. This podcast is fun and also educational without being overstimulating like so much of what’s out there for kids. My son loves Mr. Mouse and Ms. Elephant! And I love that he’s able to imagine them in his head rather than seeing them on a screen. He also sings the goodbye song to himself while playing or hanging out around the house. I’m just blown away by how entertaining these episodes are while still actually teaching him (and sometimes me) Spanish. Well done Evan and Vanessa! You’ve created a beautiful thing. Thank you!

Educational and fun!

I am all for learning on the go, and I was looking for a Spanish podcast that was fun for my 3 and 5 year old to listen to in the car. What a wonderful idea for a podcast. This is fun and playful way for kids to gradually acquire Spanish language skills that they will remember and enjoy using right away. While its always fun for a new episode to arrive, this is the type of podcast that you'll want to hit "download all" and listen to again and again.

Great for Grandmas too!!

Loved episode one of the podcast! I can’t wait for the full release! This Grandma will finally learn some Spanish in a fun and entertaining way! Excited to share it with my granddaughters!! Update: My 3-year-old granddaughter loves listening even when she is playing with her toys. She listens and sings and repeats the Spanish words! That’s the definition of a good multi-tasker! It’s amazing! Keep the episodes coming!

3 year old loves this podcast!

Just what I was looking for!

The music is catchy and my children (7,5,2) and I love it. We’re picking up Spanish in a natural simple way. Our vocabulary is increasing each time we listen. Perfect Spanish podcast for kids!

I am so excited to have found this podcast! My 5 year old son and I listen to it on the way to school and it’s the perfect way to introduce Spanish in a fun and engaging way. My son sings along to the songs, repeats the words and enjoys the skits. I absolutely love that he wants to listen to it and gets excited when I tell him a new episode is out. By far in amazing podcasts!

I’m a 24 year old post college student brushing up on my Spanish and I love this podcast. I wake up every morning and listen to it while I am walking my dog! I’m even sent it to my sister for my eight month nephew! The songs are so catchy and the dialogue with Mr.Mouse and Mr.Elephant is so adorable!

Music makes it fun

I love this show. It reminds me of spanishpod, my favorite Spanish lessons tool of long ago, but it’s even more fun because of the music. And it’s great for both kids and adults. Music definitely helps me remember vocabulary much quicker. The music is really good too.

¡Excelente!

My husband (37), children (2 and 11) and I (30) love this podcast! We first fell in love with Evan and Vanessa’s bilingual album “In Our World There Are No Strangers”. This podcast is a perfect extension to their music. My 2 year old is speaking and singing Spanish! And we all laugh our butts off at Mr Mouse and Mrs Elephant. What a find

We just discovered this podcast last week after I did a spontaneous search for "kids Spanish podcast". With my kids already learning some Spanish in Montessori, I really appreciated the gentle vibe and fun songs & stories. It felt very familiar! I really look forward to future episodes and, hopefully, lots more Spanish beyond the very basics. In the meantime, it's great reinforcement and my kids are really enjoying it. ¡Gracias!

Next Idea

You could use different animal puppets besides Mr. Elephant and Ms. Mouse. Also play Disney’s Pixar Coco songs and other Spanish theme songs. You could also play a Spanish song entitled Exsutate. It’s a great song!

Perfect for our family!

We are a homeschooling family with four boys and and we are embarking on the journey of learning Spanish as a family. My husband and I have Spanish knowledge from college days but we are refreshing with Duolingo app. We have been looking for something that we can listen to as a family to encourage dialogue and practicing together. Only heard part of the first episode but this sounds perfect and just the right pace for our 9, 7, 5, and 2 year olds. Hope to see more episodes up soon! Also I would be happy to share with other homeschooling families as a recommended resource.

My grandsons sat and listened to this. Now they are walking around saying Hola and Adios Amigos. This would be a great thing for kids to learn to speak Spanish since so many people speak a different primary language.
