You brought Dexter back… to kill him. That’s the most selfish nonsensical writing I’ve ever witnessed. And that was your best?? Then dear God please no one let this man write anything ever again. This audience gave you years of their life, and you repay us with making the writing about yourself (talking to you, Clyde, clearly). You said this is the ending you always wanted, that alone is terrible story writing. You have to let the story take you where it wants to go. It was clear you had an agenda, it was clear you wanted to showcase what you think good writing is, giving no respect to the audience, the actual story, or the actual character we’ve been rooting for and obsessed with for over a decade, and the worst part is we let you do it. We let you dupe us into believing you would actually write something satisfactory… that’s how much we loved that character. Enough to give you a second chance. Michael C. Hall’s performance was electric, and he truly was the main reason most of us watched. The show is called Dexter, not Clyde. Get over yourself man. Will never pay any attention to anything your name is tied to from now on, and I know I’m not alone. I refuse to feel like I wasted hours of my life again. — Do yourself a favor and give your audience some credit. We’re not idiots.

Amazing
I love this podcast. It’s the perfect companion. I love hearing about the how the episode came about and all the things that went into this series. And the series itself was amazing. Nice job. You did the series and the character justice. Loved every minute.

Butchered Twice
Thanks for butchering the entire season and its dreadful ending. I’m sure we, the fans who support Showtime, appreciated waiting so many years for this “redemption season,” just to be highly disappointed again.

She’s the worst writer
I hate this new season … so depressed why didn’t you just leave it! Lame pod caster and kids can’t act actors and this is soooo boring.

So disappointed
So I went back and listen to all of the lead up episodes till the premiere of the newest iteration of Dexter. I was so excited after the episode aired to listen to that episode that came out only to be bombarded with a ton of spoilers. It’s super disappointing that there wasn’t better editing on this!

Welcome back
I really appreciate the throwback moments to the original series, “tonight’s the night”, the swivel chair (which I noticed before I listened to the podcast. I was disappointed, however, that in a wrap of the first episode, Clyde was talking about future story lines.

Love it.
I am a die hard Dexter fan. I have watched the series all the way through 5 times and the first episode of new blood 3 times. And I learned so much from listening to this. I love the episode where the old cast is back together. Thank you!

❤️ this cast!
I enjoyed this podcast. I was so nice to hear from all the actors and their take on the show. I love how John Lithgow played Trinity killer in season 4 so I was so excited that he was on an episode. I just wish they asked them more questions. Still good though.

We need to have a talk!!
First off, Dexter as one of my favorite shows of all time. I enjoy every season, except the last and I think the show was near perfection. However I don’t appreciate how this podcast makes it seems perfect in every sense. Every dexter fan I’ve ever talked to absolutely hates the last season and how it felt rushed and unjust. Please talk about it. Don’t treat me like a moron who doesn’t know what he’s watching. The last season was a failure. Mention it!! Learn from your mistakes and admit your mistakes!
