So helpful!
I found this podcast through being connected with Jason on LinkedIn and now I’m addicted. Each episode inspires me to do one or two small things to improve my business goals. I’m an architect, not an interior designer, but there is good advice for anyone in the design fields in the podcast. I highly recommend it and will be recommending it directly to all of my architecture students! Great job team!!!

Insightful Podcast
This may be a new podcast, but I can attest to Jason and company being quite well-versed and experienced in the marketing space primarily because they too are practitioners. Having a full understanding of the design business is a key tenet of having a greater understanding of how to better market to target consumers and what those shifts in a marketing strategy should look like.

Episode 2 is exactly what I NEEDED!
This show is on my playlist for sure. Episode 2 with Johanna was exactly what I needed to hear to have the confidence to change my own pricing structure. Time to charge for high ticket! All designers and any entrepreneur must listen to this episode! Can’t wait to hear the other episodes of this new show.

A must listen!
So many great tips. I love the part about working too much in our business and not on our business. Where can we effectively spend our time and efforts??? This podcast helps with that.

Episode 6 What Makes A Designer Marketable
Congratulations first of all…..I loved the podcast. It was very rich with valuable information and knowledge of how designers are viewed in the industry. It also discussed how designer view themselves. Throughout the podcast the three areas a design professional needs to incorporate into their daily business schedule and development are: Public Relations Marketing Advertising Note: I am hooked and following your group to garner all of the fantastic information to help my business develop and grow. I love this dynamic !
I’m feeling super excited for this podcast, and we have six episodes already! In the intro we meet our hosts Maria, Mirjam, and Jason. A veteran PR publicist, Mirjam brings years of experience in helping sell designs to clients. Maria is an interior designer who has made an app to better facilitate client happiness by making the interior design process collaborative. Jason, an architect by trade, found himself into the interior design world through clients who needed help marketing their services. All three bring unique experiences that listeners will need to soak up, because when three successful people from different backgrounds engage like this, magic happens!

Episode 3 PR 101
Mirjam thank you for demystifying PR it can be very intimidating but you are showing us it does not have to be. Also I love the part where you tell us when sending in advise or tips to the media our writing does not have to be perfect. It takes me a lot of time to make it perfect because writing is not my area of expertise. Thank you for helping to make the process more manageable. This episode is extremely helpful! Thank you so much!

- Equity in DesignOur guest Nureed is one of the winners of the NKBA Innovators award for her article on the topic of diversity & inclusion. Link to Nureed's article: https://zurl.co/BS5K If you would like to get the links and show notes for this episode, click on the link below: https://www.designerdiscussions.com/episodes/episode-65-Equity-in-Design Nureed is sharing the link to the relatively short film created by the Zinn Project in partnership with Richard Rothstein, author of “The Color of Law”. Understanding the history of our nation’s responsibility in residential segregation becomes our individual responsibility to learn about it and recognize where we as designers and architects can make an impact in our own industry. It is undeniable that our industry is so closely linked to the system that was created decades ago and frankly how our industry sees opportunity is built upon inherited wealth and the segregation of cities across the country. The film is called “Segregated by Design”. https://www.zinnedproject.org/materials/segregated-by-design/ To contact Nureed, use the links below: https://www.nuinteriors.net/ https://www.instagram.com/nuinteriors/ Link to past episodes referenced: Episode 31 - https://www.designerdiscussions.com/episodes/episode-31-diversity-in-design-with-kiwana-mcclung0 comments0
