Dating Disasters (The Homecoming Sl*t)
Dating Disasters w/ Avery & Friends
Okay guys, welcome to the first ever episode of dating disasters, a favor and friends, or dating adventures and disastrous. If Avery and friends today, I am doing to find. My coworker Joey play Halo and Call of Duty video game. I also run an Esports Club, do some small things, college student, and I work with Avery and we are going to be all the stories that you submitted over the last four hours. We are going to start off with. And I'm only do the honors of reading, this, first, initial story, and then we'll go into our thoughts and give our opinions on the situation. All right, so,
Here we go. So I am a lesbian and about February 2020. I started dating one of my close friends. It was amazing. And at first, she was the sweetest girlfriend I could ever ask for the day before. A two-month anniversary. We're on a call and had mentioned there, 2 months and she says about that. She told me she was questioning if she was really buy and that we should break up and we did a little betrayed because now she claims to be by and I was like, I was I just a reason she wanted to break up or was she really questioning? I don't know. I'm just a bit confused about it. I'm way over right now. After a breakup, we became even closer before I wear Protonix soulmates. I love her as a friend of course and see what people prefer the sexualities talk to. Sometimes, it's always a tough Bridge, right at people's Arkansas that around sometimes. But I think, you know, it is almost like,
No, it's it's tough because you everyone does it, you know, you go through relationship. If you break up or not, you still find yourself keeping up with that person, you know, and so I feel like, you know,
It's like she may be the person who's in a relationship with didn't even think about it. And then do, you know, it was open about the environment afterwards? But like evil sometimes typically don't think like, you know what maybe she was using you as a way out. That's what it kind of sounds like, you know, or something like that. And she didn't think that was the better route for that. Maybe you should have been, you know,
Steve straightforward and being honest, you know, it sounds like maybe that was what happened. I don't know. Obviously, you know, I don't have all the details so you only get as much as we get but who knows?
I'm glad that they were able to stay friends after time. But I think that brings on another topic that we can sign into and that's can taxes. Be friends. What's your take on that?
I can go first if you want to know for it.
I'm trying to think. I don't, I'm not friends with any of my ex's and it goes wrong every single time. I say no, but
I think this is a perfect example of it going, right. What about you like, two-year-long relationships after War like a hangout? And then I'd like to 3 months and over like, I mean, it's not working obviously, you know, but you sometimes it works. Sometimes it works out and that person still wants to be in contact with you and it's fine.
Glad that you guys were able to work it out and we would need and Joey wish you the best. Anything else you want to add. All right, but next story is coming in from a 19 year old. Are you ready to be?
The title is I was the homecoming slutt.
Nature. Isn't that lovely? When I was a freshman in high school? I had my first ever boyfriend. Let's call him and I had a huge crush on Jon from a distance. One day. I found out another girl had to ask them to the homecoming dance and I was very upset. I can't remember the in-between here. But one day he came over to fix my computer and the same day. He asked me to be his girlfriend the next day at school. The girl confronted me after my now boyfriend informed her that they would no longer be going to the dance.
She stormed out all the way over to me and said I was a big fucking slut in the whole school heard. I don't think either person is answering the wrong in the initial and like, really, like what happened. So like as far as that, it's okay to go to dances and you know, different events with friends, you know, if there's like no title detached like it wasn't like he was dating another girl. And then you know, when the actual person came in and they started dating, I think he also the right thing, but obviously say I can't go with you, you know, it is in a committed relationship at that point.
Now with the other girl did we can do that. Obviously, pretty much out of line as far as that. I'm just going for just for like theoretical purposes. I'm just going to assume like this is like the first time. This is his homecoming is like really early on in the semester of school right now. And this is this girls freshman year. So this is her first ever high school, like really like experience. She probably still has. That was like, ideas a perfect, high school stories, high school dreams and like she's no one's like all those things. It's not nice. That's really why I cut you off earlier. Just like kind of like I don't like typically I would say it's it's like she has all. She has to think of high school, is the media. She has around here with a media.
This is her first ever. Probably, like, unless she was like, in Middle School, like, causing trouble. This is probably her first ever encounter. Cuz the girl in the story I'm assuming is probably older than her would probably only have her like, super, you know, her, I would call it her Taylor Swift knowledge, you know, it's like those kind of, like, those kind of music videos and just things that give you, you know, what is that High School Musical with Michael, those things from your childhood, that you have a high school before you're there. That's probably the only idea we never even been called a sweat before like I wouldn't be surprised. If the girl went home and looked up what I meant.
Let's see. Do you want to pick one Joey?
I could take a look at.
Let's see if this person is 18 and they said, I'm at the sky and dating app, you a super cute and down-to-earth and acts as I'd like to go stargazing with him out of phantom Lake and we could bring blankets and watch a movie too. So I said yes, of course and all that they were texting and getting excited the time finally comes and it's cold as hell though. I didn't care the blankets and pillows we be set so we can switch out, heading to the lake. He's just a sweet and cute person, a nice conversation and hold my hand. Everything's going great. But happily there. I realized I need to finish or response online, but you left that side work on it and he's seen one of these except I looked over into actually starting to get time. Why is it looked over to take it? Turn around a corner? It's pitch black. But as soon as we start to make that turn, I see it the huge but running right towards us, but I assume so see it, but he doesn't keep coming.
An instant fire chest is throbbing. My ears are ringing and everything. Seems to be moving in slow motion. He's trying to say something to me to ask if I'm okay, but I can't process what just happened. I turned to face forward and realized the airbags deployed and began to panic. I say I'm okay and physically it was true. You pull off to the side and sentenced on silence for a moment, which is now totaled. I had checked the rear to see if I broke my nose and more waiting for a tell. I was undoubtedly the worst first day and we did hang out after because I felt so bad for him, but there was not a second date.
Oh my God, I'm a say this. I'm going to give this injection right here, but I also feel for him.
You ruined his truck for you and you didn't give him a second. Will it wasn't a first date. He was my first ever boyfriend. Like I'm like talking like fake Middle School boyfriend. Like he was a boyfriend, you know, and then later on we ended up going on a date to go see the fireworks at his parents, were there and it was really fun. Like I'm like, don't get me wrong. It was a really fun time. But on the way back from the fireworks, we got pulled over and the cop was just terrible and and it would completely ruin the mood and ever since then, it was just like a little weird. I get what she means, he did ruin his truck for you. That is true. He
You would do a lot that day, so much.

The part where he mentions that he wants to be adopted by a more functional family even at 45 yrs really hits home. Really delineates how no matter how old and independent you are, you still need love and support.2 months ago·10 likes·
