THE BEST DND PODCAST!
I am currently onto the 6th campaign and it’s really good! I have loved listening to you guys for a while now. I started listening to this during Covid. I had never played dnd but I really wanted to so as a way to learn a bit about it I looked for a podcast. I went through about 3 or 4 before finding Crit Sandwich and I LOVED it instantly. I listen during Covid and stoped for a while because I got busy. Then I finally got into dnd about 3 or 4 months ago and I came back to the podcast about a week ago. I can’t stop listening to you guys. You guys always make the games so funny and it is amazing to watch. The last episode was made over a year ago so I’m assuming that you guys ended the podcast, I’m not sure why because I haven’t seen that campaign yet. I wish that you were still making them but for whatever reason it is. I’m sure it’s a good one. It’s been so long that you probably won’t even read this review but I just wanted you guys to know that you have made a huge impact on my life. You are the people that got me playing dnd and now I have been playing with my family and friends and it has been great. A huge thank you to all of you for all of your hard work and dedication doing this. (Also make more, once this ends I’m not going to have anything to feed my crit sandwich addiction)

Makes my day!
I didn’t even realize I had apple podcasts until you guys mentioned needing reviews, had I known I would have been here sooner! I remember thinking that there were sooo many episodes when I started listening this summer, but now going into season 8, I realize how close I am to having to wait to hear my favorite podcast. I love listening to you guys make these amazing campaigns and characters. You’ve even inspired me to get my own dnd group going, and after having our first session, I can truly appreciate how much time and effort goes into each episode. Keep up the awesome content!

Fantastic
I usually listen on Spotify, but I wanted to leave a review for them. I really love the podcast and tu way they design the campaigns through random rolling always keeps me excited for the next campaign. I’m just a matter a few weeks I have listened to 6 entire campaigns, and I’ve only been speeding up. Has really got me more into D&D and has made me want to create my own campaign with my friends.

5- star Review
I absolutely love your podcast! I listen to it every chance I get. I’ve learned so much from it and will be DM for my next campaign. I also thoroughly enjoy some of the military humor from Robby, being a vet and hearing the jokes from something I enjoy, like dnd is really awesome. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Grateful and looking forward to more.
I typically listen on Spotify but wanted to to support you guys by writing y’all a review. I have been recently starting to get into Starships and Starwyrms with my buddy based on 5e and had no idea how to play dnd. I did not expect to like your podcast initially, but I wanted to learn how to play by listening to other podcasts to hear how others play. I have literally binged so many of your campaigns because I love listening to you guys. I feel like I’m able to be there with y’all and it’s been so cool. I literally can’t listen to another podcast without comparing them to you guys. I hope your wife is feeling okay from the accident a while back. Thanks for continuing your having fun while being in real life, it’s cool and encourages me to continue with my buddies too. Looking forward to every episode. God bless you guys.

Best wishes to all of you. Also I’m currently on campaign 6, episode 3. Also hearing how much you guys like hearing from us I had to come say hi. Thank you guys for the awesome podcast.

Crit Sandwich is a nerd’s dream come true. I love how immersive and descriptive everyone is! I’ve learned so much from y’all and my own DMing skills have really evolved (considering I’m a newbie DM that knows 5 rules total). Whenever I’m feeling stumped, this podcast gives me so much inspiration, whether it be character descriptions, role play, puzzles, and especially combat. Thank you all so much for making this a terrific experience from us listeners! Hilary

Great show, fun group!
I have binged all of the first 6 seasons while at work and commuting and these guys know how to keep me entertained. They make me feel as a part of the group sitting there in the room. It would be awesome to hear from Casey or Matt on DM strategies or a how-to so I can get going with my own group. Edit: I have started my own game been going for over a year now, I take a lot on inspiration from you guys! Now all caught up, can't wait for more!

HELLOOOO AND WELCOME TO MY REVIEW
Hello! I love everything about podcast. I like the episode length i do not have to dedicate my entire day to listen to it. I have listen to them while i study. at work, and during road trips. The way they play reminds of times i used to play with my friends and family. My favorite campaigns thus far are Monster Park, Drow Hard, and the Walking Trash. Honestly check out this podcast I have forced it on all my friends and they love it as well. Thank You Critsandwich for all the hard work and love you guys put into your show 💚 -alexzander Hello again! I like this podcast.
I’m not sure if I’m too late, but it would be cool to see the plot of The Warriors (1979) especially if it happened to be rolled with a cyberpunk setting. Gino

Tastiest Sandwich for Picky Eaters
Absolutely love this podcast. This is the only podcast I listen to actively and it’s the only one I’ll even need. Listening to the experienced players constantly change the rules and have fun with the game helped me build the confidence to build and DM my own campaign. Favorite season has to be Monster Park but the Bioshock season is a close second. The only downside is I can never play Bioshock since it won’t be as amazing as this campaign. Grab some chips and give this sandwich a try, you definitely won’t be disappointed! Side note: Jim Henson’s Labyrinth would make a sweet campaign plot.

Critical Inspiration!
I’ve been playing D&D for a few years now with a group of friends in a completely home brew setting. I brought up the idea of playing D&D with my brother earlier this year, and managed to get my brother-in-law and a close friend of my brother on board. My brother (shout out to Zach!) loves the podcast and introduced me too it as well, it really helped him learn the game mechanics and helped familiarize him with roleplaying. Love the gimmick, love the cast, good quality fun. Best podcast out there!

WOO SEASON 10!
I love your podcast! Every time I see a new episode it makes my day. My suggestions for season 10 are the world of Skyrim, plot of The princess bride, and you are revenants wanting to right the wrongs of your past. Keep it up guys! Also for the QnA who is the oldest and has been into dnd the longest.

SEASON 10 HYPE
I am overjoyed for the 10th season of the first podcast I ever listened to!! These guys make every campaign idea SO fun to listen to. For the 10th season I’d love to see Matt as DM; he is a rules master with awesome perspective. I think I’d like to see the boys playing through the plot of Pixar’s Onward. Thank you for making awesome content and for inspiring my very own DND actual play show. ❤️

Even Better
A year ago, I wrote a 5-star review for this podcast. In my opinion it has only gotten better since then! The boys have doubled down on what I enjoy: playful banter, engaging characters, fun plot lines, and a general feeling that this is exactly what your own gaming group is like. As requested, here is my proposal for Season 10: professional wrestlers in a sci-fi world following the plot of Three Amigos. I imagine you are pro wrestlers who also do movies and/or reality TV shows (like Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, etc). Being a sci-fi or near future setting, you could be wearing body cameras which you think are rolling. Therefore you think the plot is part of your latest show or movie, but actually these are real life bad guys out to kill you.

One Of My Favorite Dnd Pods
I have listened to a lot of dnd podcasts and this one felt really original because of the way they create the campaigns. I also think that they balance the story element of dnd with the gameplay really well. The short campaigns are fun because if you don’t like one you can listen to a different one. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who has ears. Suggestions for scenario chart: Setting- W.A.L.L.E Characters- Cavemen Plot- Skyrim

Great for Road Trips
Recommendation: I have been wanting you guys to pick Candyland as a setting since the beginning. I envision a Willy Wonka’s factory world. Rivers of milk chocolate, gummy sharks, molten hard candy lava, etc. Plus evil characters could be sour or salty creatures or even worse.... vegetables. The show is very interesting, and each campaign is different. Even if you aren’t into the plot for one campaign, the next will be different. My husband and I have been listening to the podcast for a long time. We blew through the first few campaigns on road trips, and we were devastated when we finally caught up. We now save them up to listen to multiple podcasts on longer car rides. Plus the podcast got me into DND. I’ve now started playing a campaign with my in-laws. It was a great way to learn about what a DND game looks like without too much pressure about following the rules perfectly.

Very enjoyable!
I have loved listening to this podcast so far!! The storyline is incredibly fun and unique and I love how the characters find ways to interact with these crazy situations. The descriptions of the surrounding area were incredible- if I closed my eyes it was almost like I was there alongside the characters! The way you describe different characters as well is so helpful, and really allows me to visualize what is happening. The way you all seem to enjoy yourselves so much also makes me really happy and it is really cool how sometimes more joking questions will lead to serious discussion/plot lines. Very good work! I would only improve upon trying to have stronger characterization with the personalities but it is wonderful aside from that.

My Favorite D&D Podcast
I randomly stumbled on you guys on a trip to Universal Studios (I live in Cali), and I’ve been hooked ever since. The first campaign inspired my wife to try (as she lovingly calls Jurassic Park) a “Dinosaurs eat people” run, and It’s made me more exited to practice DMing and just playing in general. Also, I didn’t realize how recent these episodes were aired, so wishing Matt’s wife the best with regards to the accident still! ***UPDATED TO INCLUDE SEASON 10 SUGGESTIONS*** Plot - Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland Characters - princesses Setting - a conglomeration of settings from board games (like the MCU but board games) I love the idea of including more community interaction btw

Crit sandwich season ten
Hi I love your show and always wanted to suggest something for y’all to play so I have come up with a great idea that even if you guys don’t pick I will make my own for my friends to play. My idea was for you guys to be playing in the setting of termina from Majora’s mask; your characters would be ericokra aka the bird people from dnd and the plot would be the red war from destiny 2. In case you’re confused about the red war is it would be an large army that would take over and you have to go around and evacuate all the planets or in this case your four areas around termina and then a big planet killing ship you have to take down. I hope this gets chosen but keep up the good work thanks.

Good short campaigns and a great group of friends. All about fun. Wish they had a discord to talk to us. Suggest to be a group of pirates in the ready player one universe along the plot of resistance fall of man.

UPDATED for season 10 suggestions.
I’m absolutely enthralled with each created setting and how the players and DM fit the various classes and character personalities into their various non-standard world spaces. Each game so far has had a climactic and exciting end! I hope this series has a long life and I can’t wait for more! UPDATED For season 10 contest 1. Setting: Pacific Rim, Plot Mortal Kombat. Characters Power Rangers (mix and match eras for extra fun) 2 setting: Aliens (2nd movie), plot: saving private Ryan, Characters: Thespians/Actors that believe they are in a play/movie but are not.

I’ve been following these guys for about a year now and I absolutely love their content. The way they determine each campaign and switch DM’s to let everyone play is just lovely. They all do fun voices and are obviously good friends but still stay in character 87.6% of the time. Also I absolutely love how you guys switch up the DM’s all of you have such unique ways of dming from voices to thematic effects. It really lets listeners see there’s no one right way to DM. Absolutely love you guys but mostly listen on Spotify, sorry I’ve waited so long to put up a review!

Imagination
When someone tells you a good story, it’s fun to visualize it in your head. With this group it feels as though I’m not only there with them, but there with the characters as well. I’m sad that I’m catching up because I’ll have to wait longer to hear the episodes. Thank you guys so much for recapturing the imagination I thought to be lost. The “How-Not-To” D&D guide ;)
Love listening to these 4 friend’s play D&D. The first rule of D&D is “have fun,” and these guys nailed it! As a DM/GM I’ve learned so much about the game, and most importantly, what not to do! Some of my favorite moments is listening to the guys argue about the rules for 20-30 minutes during one single turn in combat. Lol! But seriously, this podcast is great and I can’t wait for Crit Sandwich to become the next big thing in dungeons and dragons.

Best podcast of all time
This is by far the best podcast I have ever listened to, and I listen to a lot. Crit sandwich has the perfect amount of meat, cheese, and condiments needed to call it perfect. It’s entertaining and keeps me listening all day long. I’ve never DM’d a DnD campaign before but after listening to the first season I gathered my own group and ran a session. This is a great podcast. Their campaigns are well made and very detailed. One of my favorite podcasts ever
I have been looking for a dnd podcast that I have liked for a long time. All the ones I have found have been how to play or strained to the point it’s not funny when they do some stupid thing, but with Crit sandwich you can tell it’s just four friends playing dnd for fun. All in all it’s very enjoyable, super funny and educational. I know know the best way to kill warg thanks to You guys(thanks chuck)

Short and sweet DND with a creative twist!
These randomly rolled DND campaigns borrow the best from existing media concepts to create immediately rich worlds. The guys do a great job creating distinct characters too; I’ve been surprised at how much I can imagine them and “get” who they are from just a few episodes. My favorite campaigns are the first with the Jurassic park idea, but I also really like the space junkers and the drow elves. The middle’s school is close. My least favorite was the chaos one, sorry guys! I don’t know why but I just could not get into it. I ended up skipping it. I wasn’t allowed to play Pokémon as a kid but I still thought the mad max one was pretty visual and entertaining. You guys always do a good job painting a picture. I love that about your podcast!

Best D&D Podcast
Fantastic concept. Fantastic cast. Fantastic stories, characters, and adventures. Each member of the cast brings something unique to the table. Matt knows everything about D&D, Chuck gets either the best or the worst outcome every time (6th campaign especially) and never fails to make me laugh, Casey is a great DM and always has his character voices just right, and finally Robbie who delves deep into the lore and campaign and helps make it come to life. Hands down the best D&D podcast I’ve ever listened to. Not even close. P.S. favorite campaigns are 1,3, and 4. However, every campaign is well worth listening to P.P.S. Never change Robbie

Favorite DnD Podcast
Hey guys! Hope here. I wanted to write you guys a great review since I absolutely LOVE the podcast and sent in some fan art! Everyone is really funny and creative, and I love how you guys rotate who is going to be a Dungeon Master for a particular campaign. You all inspired me to start my own dnd podcast with my family and friends! I've learned a lot from you all, especially when it comes to just playing dnd and being a dungeon master. Thought I'd share one of my favorite moments from Crit Sandwich. I liked the campaign where the yuan-ti were going to overthrow the world, and Robby(ie?) was the DM. My all time favorite moment as where he had an NPC bend over to show her RED PANTIES to Matt's character because she was interested in him. I died laughing. Keep in mind, these kids are all around 13 - 14 years old. I would not know how to react if someone showed me their underwear because they want to date me - and I am an adult! It was a great moment. I also think it's great how robbie's character voices always end up scottish. To all the guys - you all are awesome! Maybe when you get a big fanbase, you should have some other dnd podcasts play as special guests? would be a cool listen! Keep on keepin' on! - Hope

You guys deserve all the reviews!
Hi! I have only had the pleasure to play DnDonce, and boy, you guys make me wish I had a solid group to play more often because THIS PODCAST IS EVERYTHING. I have shared laughs, shared gasps and always looked forward to each wacky campaign. The characters are always unique and memorable, same goes for the wonderful story telling. I’m going to be so sad when I’m done binging all of the episodes, and be forced to wait every two weeks for another episode... but I’m definitely going to stick around and listen because you guys rock! By far my favorite has been Meowth’s Fury: Poke Road, and I’ll patiently wait until Candyland becomes a chosen for one of the campaigns. Until then I’ll keep my DnD hunger satisfied by biting into Crit Samdwich!

A fun, light podcast with 4 good friends
This DND podcast is superb. At its core, this podcast is less about DND and more about 4 good friends coming together and doing something they love - and therein lies the beauty of this podcast. They’re fun, jovial and lighthearted. Each one of them brings something essential to the table when they play, and they all work off of each other really well. If you’re into a hyper-dramatized DND podcast, this might not be for you, but I’d still recommend you give it a shot. For me, this podcast is what DND is all about - friends coming together to have fun. The audio quality is great, the editing is slick, the campaigns are fresh and the characters are unique. It’s the only podcast I’ve listened to all of the episodes!

Best D&D Podcast
This is the most entertaining D&D podcast I’ve found! The professional RPG podcasts are just that - you can tell it’s their job to entertain you. But when I listen to Crit Sandwich - it’s the right mix of humor, seriousness, and general role playing goodness. It really reminds me of my own gaming group! The most disappointing part is having to wait 2-3 weeks between episodes.

Truly Insprational
Casey, Chuck, Matt, and Robbie do a wonderful job of making an entertaining and captivating story in each of their campaigns. This podcast was my first real exposure to what a D&D campaign is like and inspired me to start playing with a group of my own. Now almost a year later I’m taking up the reigns of Dungeon Master myself and it’s all thanks to the gentlemen of Crit Sandwich and especially their host Casey Sears for sharing his notes from their first campaign with me so I can torture my players with every monster in the book. Casey, I do truly thank you for all that you do and I can’t wait for the fourth campaign to start!

New to the Game
I am new to the game, but love fantasy worlds. This crew does a great job explaining what they are doing and you can tell they have fun with their imagination, and play well off of each others choices! Great listen, I highly recommend! Can't wait for the next episode =)

- Strahd's Theme – Robbie (feat. Robbie's Wife)Strahd's Theme By Robbie (feat. Robbie's Wife) Produced by Willis (ig: @wingedfew) ––––– Here is your reason to fright I am the terror, who’s haunting your night All it would take is a bite Controlling a character, hidden from sight Playing a game with your life Deep in the darkness away from the light A-B or C what’s your type? Finding out soon, it’ll be your demise My presence is ancient The theme’s diabolical With all of this patience My schemes are unstoppable You may be my favorite Escape isn’t optional There is no saviors Defeats only logical I am in no rush Quenching the bloodlust From dawn till dusk I’ll silence the enemy, hush Here is your reason to fright I am the terror, who’s haunting your night All it would take is a bite Controlling a character, hidden from sight Playing a game with your life Deep in the darkness away from the light A-B or C what’s your type? Finding out soon, it’ll be your demise I come with a storm of never ending darkness Full of rage As heroic as you think you are You still are prey Doesn’t matter if you pray, still may be your day Party up let’s play! A love more powerful than any magic, the power is a reminder of ancient times, strong enough to overcome a dark curse. From under the table comes sunlight, the focus on evil. A transformation begins a contortmint by death itself. Pain fills the words in my diary I made it through dire times, it’s inspiring Now I terrorize society Dealing damage in varieties I am the land A warrior when I felt life Theodore had a plan But never planned I’d take his wife The undead on a rise Screams and agony delight Cursed family invite Hoping you all stay the night Here is your reason to fright I am the terror, who’s haunting your night All it would take is three bites Controlling a character, hidden from sight Playing a game with your life Deep in the darkness away from the light A-B or C what’s your type?
