- Conquerors Cafe Tea Time w/ Twylia Discussion: There's Nothing Too Hard For GodWhen we look at the world with all of its trials, troubles, tribulations, and heartaches; we sometimes ask: "Where is God? Why doesn't He do something?" Is it that God is not able? Is the situation too large or too difficult for God? We are indeed living in perilous times! Every time we turn around something else is happening. But, the word of God tells us in Jeremiah 32:17, "There is nothing too hard for God!" We can trust God with our bigger problems because we know He is bigger than them all. No matter what temptations or trials we face, we can place them into God’s hands and know He has a plan for us amidst times of pain, loss, or frustration. As we learn in the Jeremiah verse, nothing is too difficult nor hidden from God. Satan cannot hatch a scheme that can go around God’s plan. Even the demons have to ask permission before they can do anything. Indeed, if God has the ultimate power, we can trust Him with even our most difficult of problems. So again I ask.....is there anything too hard for God? The answer my dear friend is simply NO!0 comments0

- BRAIN INJURY AWARENESS MONTH: CELEBRATING BRAIN INJURY SURVIVORS WORLDWIDEJoin me as we celebrate brain injury survivors around the world! Brain Injury Awareness Month, observed each March, was established 3 decades ago to educate the public about the incidence of brain injury and the needs of persons with brain injuries and their families. Caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head, or penetrating head injury, a traumatic brain injury (TBI) can lead to short or long-term changes affecting thinking, sensation, language, or emotion. Each year, at least 2.5 million children and adults suffer from a TBI in the United States. Of those, 50,000 dies and 280,000 require hospital admission, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Most of us never imagine that our lives could be impacted by a serious brain injury, but between 3.2 and 5.3 million Americans live with long-term disabilities resulting from traumatic brain injury (TBI). In fact, this number could be middle-of-the-road because many people, including professional athletes, may never seek treatment. We can’t ignore this problem any longer! So, join me and other brain injury survivors as we share tools and strategies to help raise awareness about the risks associated with brain injury. Remember...education is the key to prevention!0 comments0
