Sprout floors!
Like a hot knife cutting through the dog pile of mainstream media Eleanor and Lee with great wit and humor expose the left and right, which is all right at this point, for there unwavering contempt for human rights or progressive policies. We do need a plan to get to this utopia people speak of and it begins with understanding the problem at its core. getting away from identity politics, having compassion, understanding of people’s real struggle and doing what we can to live a grounded life.

This podcast was definitely needed. I love redacted tonight(and now have discovered Act Out) but it’s awesome to be able to dive deeper into the topics, but also hear Lee and Eleanor’s insightful perspectives in such important topics that effect all of us. PLEASE do an episode about the kidnapping program, CPS, and the foster care system. And also the links it has to child abuse. It’s a astronomical problem in this country that’s not being talked about AT ALL! But I highly highly recommend this podcast!

I think Louis CK should be banned from performing.
Punishment rarely, (if at all), makes any lasting change for the better, because it never addresses the root cause of anyone’s behavior. It is up to the perpetrator to be willing to explore his/her own psyche, so to speak to find the explanation for their behavior. Unfortunately, the only way to insure the perpetrator will take on this responsibility, is to take them out of their “comfort zone” by taking away from them something they worked hard to achieve and allows them an easy lifestyle.
