I discovered Blurry Creatures through an Instagram post about Mount Hermon. It has really opened my eyes! Listened to Dr. Laura Sanger first and got totally sucked in. I’ve since gone back and started from the beginning. Appreciate the variety of guests, the open forum to share differing opinions, and humor amid otherwise heavy topics. This podcast is sooooo good. Every guest I’ve heard is amazing, from Sanger to Hamp to Pasulka, and especially Alberino, I’m constantly being filled to the brim with new content. Blurry Creatures isn’t just a podcast- it’s a way of life. IT’S THE BLURRYVERSE. Seriously though, this show is a GIANT step up from other podcasts. Every episode unlocks a new REVELATION in my mind and gets me thinking. The concepts aren’t just black and white- they’re GREY. It’s EXTRATERRific! Strongly recommend. Favorite Podcast
I don’t remember how I stumbled upon this podcast, but ever since the first episode I heard, I’ve been hooked. I used to listen to Joe Rogan everyday, but lately it’s been Blurry Creatures. As a follower of Christ, I appreciate that they keep it clean and look at everything through a Biblical lens. The best show!
Nate and Luke, thank you for introducing us to so many facets of the blurry world! I am interested in things I never knew possibly existed! And, I love the biblical references as I deep dive into the Old Testament this year. The older I get, the more I believe the Bible is more literal than we can really conceive. All we can hope is that Heaven offers “Netflix” on what really happened from Genesis to Revelation!

A real worldview changer!
I listened from episode one in less than a month, and now it seems like an eternity passes between each episode. I have been a fantasy fan since Narnia and the Hobbit as a young lad, but I haven’t seen much evidence that mythical creatures are still around, so I thought that we’d just killed them all off in the Middle Ages. Now however, it seems that rather than them having all disappeared by the enlightenment, we just stopped being interested in them. This podcast is a great presentation of many perspectives, from devoted researchers to chance encounters, and is a great place to start if you’re looking to get into topics ignored or misinterpreted by modern wisdom. But start at the beginning! It’s very much a journey, as the hosts wrestle with many of the same questions that you will have along the way!

Invigorating 🔥
Not only entertaining, but also affirming. The only way I can describe it is that entering the “blurry-verse” has invigorated my faith as a Christian. What do I mean by that? I personally have faith in the security of the gospel, but I’ve often struggled to explain my fascination with the paranormal. This show marries the two beautifully. This show has really changed my life. It sounds silly because it’s “just a podcast” but it truly has. I’ve been a follower of Jesus for a long time but so many things didn’t make sense to me. Blurry Creatures Rocks
I started listening back in episode 96. After just a few episodes, I just knew I had to start at episode #1 and binge the whole thing! Nate and Luke ask great questions and invite guests with a wide variety of beliefs. They don’t judge but they navigate this crazy space like experts. They call themselves “a couple dummies in search of truth,” but I think they’re a lot closer to it than most of my scientist friends (I’m a research scientist at a national lab). Information overload and I am here for it all
I don’t totally recommend listening to 100 episodes in about a weeks time. But it has been overly wonderful and fascinating. I love the biblical wisdom, that these two guys bring to the show, and how they approach every topic with sincere curiosity and belief. Great Pod Cast. One of the best out there - but for the love of all that is sane - PLEASE STOP the cheesy peri-interview sound effects and repetition of key-words to fade-out. If you must have a bumper signal for future advertisement - put in a “beep” or other quick and clean marker. Your current method is beyond maddening and REALLY takes away from your great interviews.

Childlike wonder and Biblical understanding
I have now binged over one hundred episodes and besides the over-representation of Tim Alberino I’ve really enjoyed Nate and Luke’s calm, intuitive interviewing of interesting guests. Alberino is interesting too if a bit dogmatic in his agnosticism. It’s interesting how a pod like this has not existed until now. We as Christians don’t want to dabble in the dark arts—our souls belong to the Lord—but we do want understanding. This pod asks those previously-forbidden questions. The time is right for understanding since we are in the last days. Thank you Nate and Luke for such insight!

Truth is “blurtiful”
Key Truths that led to my salvation: I realized Jesus is the literal Truth and that those of us who have sought Truth instinctively were actually called *by* Him. I learned about Gods character (you can’t love somebody if you don’t *know* them intimately) and then I studied the mechanics of His creation (everything is balance, pattern, complex mathematics, communication -not accidental), and finally I rebuked generational curses (they can hinder your path to salvation greatly and give firm footholds to the enemy.) This podcast is amazing, the clip of you as a two year old is so adorable I bet even Jesus was melting! I could hardly stand it! What a smart, precious baby boy, your grandad sounds like a fantastic, godly man, so nice to hear some innocence amidst all the heavy Truth we delve into. Y’all have the best interview style of any podcast I’ve ever followed, so organic, respectful and fluid. Love everything about this work of art and faith, home run, five stars, bravo, exceptional! Can’t wait to meet y’all soon, when Jesus comes!

Have been searching for something like this
Thanks to Allie Beth Stuckey for leading me to you guys. I have always had a fascination with the “supernatural”…big foot, aliens, ufos, etc. I felt like a “bad” Christian for even considering these things. I asked so many different forums how I could fit these into a Christian world view and always came up empty. This podcast has changed that. I can fit all of this into my faith without feeling like a nut case. I have been binging this since hearing you on Relatable. The Nephilim discussions have made the Bible mean so much more to me. The Old Testament makes so much more sense! I always wondered why God was telling the Israelites to just go in and massacre people. It all just seems so much more real and believable. Anyway, good job. I love it. So excited to continue binging!!

I saw you guys on Allie Beth Stuckey!
For the past year I’ve been obsessed with the Sasquatch Chronicles and this podcast is the next logical step to find answers! Especially since the Bible doesn’t shut down the conversation but welcomes it! I’ve been listening to all your episodes from the beginning. Thoughts so far: 1.) I don’t buy into the idea of inviting psychics or mediums to ask about giant bones in South Africa. The Bible explicitly warns against doing so in Deuteronomy. (The answers would likely be lies anyway, so I take them with a grain on salt.) 2.) I take more of an Old Earth view on creation, not evolution, not Young Earth. I would be very interested to hear an interview with Dr. Hugh Ross (Reasons to Believe) on if these are things he has ever considered. 3.) Have you heard of Dr. Gary Habermas? Expert in textual evidence for the crucifixion and resurrection. He talks about getting people to ‘believe in Narnia’ through the topic of near death experiences. I would be very interested to know what he thinks about this whole subject. 4.) I am hoping that in the future episodes there will be an interview with Dr. Michael Heiser. He is the top resource on all of this who introduced me to even believing in the Nephilim and the biblical evidence for it. 5.) Anyone in my life who I try to talk about the subject, thinks I’m crazy. So I guess I’m joining your club. Thanks guys, for opening up this subject to the public! We need more of this!

Roar /Shriek of Judah
I’m not sure which podcast you were talking about sounds....the power of ect. In the book of Jasher, two places it describes the “roar” of Judah that caused fear in the enemies in the Cannonite Wars ( chapter 39 ish). Then again when Judah came to Egypt with his brothers. Jasper 54:46 -47 ish, Judah’s anger was stirred and he shrieked causing miscarriages, walls to fall, all of Egypt shook....

Fun and Enlightening Podcast!
I’ve been researching the “fringe” topics of Christianity for a bit and just recently found Blurry Creatures. It’s quickly become one of my favorites! Probably the most fun podcast I listen to since a lot of these things can be pretty deep and dark sometimes. I love that they are guys just like me trying to find the truth, not necessarily experts or anything. Makes it super relatable. And they have a variety of guests that I’ve already heard of as well as ones that are new to me! If you’re just starting in this world or have been researching for some time, this podcast is equally enjoyable.

This is a well thought out show. It has been really interesting to hear from the beginning to where it is now. This is definitely a show to start at the beginning bc it unfolds in interesting ways. I just discovered your podcast after hearing Dan Duval air his Blurry episode on his channel, and I am LOVING your podcast as much as I love his!! You’ve become my top shared show with family and friends. I don’t know if you read these, and I should probably also send an email, but I’ve been going back through your archives and just listened to episode 16 Chimeras and Hybrids with Dr. Gary Wayne. Please please please could you have him on and just talk about the occult backgrounds of CS Lewis and Tolkien, cause he casually dropped some pretty hefty information about their backgrounds and fictional writings, and I wanted more info and unpacking. I also feel like there could definitely be a whole podcast that unpacks occult history as it’s written in pop culture entertainment, such as Star Wars, Narnia, LoTR, the Matrix, etc. and the backgrounds of those writing it. Love your show, keep doing what you’re doing!

If you listened to coast to coast growing up…
Fascinating, educational, rooted in truth, brilliant guest, and two dudes who manage to make the OT come ALIVE …could you ask for more in a podcast?!? I do preface that even though they talk about Bigfoot you’ll get so much more. Love the biblical perspective and tying it all together. For those of us who grew up in the church knowing something was missing and having pastors roll their eyes not able to explain the unexplainable this show helps fill in the gaps, brings you confidence and confirmation, and makes you want to search for more. My new favorite
This podcast was shown to me by a friend this summer and has quickly replaced the paranormal podcast I listened to every day. They dive deep into Bigfoot, the nephilim and many others. This podcast DOES NOT stray from the Bible when there is evidence is pointing that way. I respect these guys for letting their research guide them and not be led astray as to sound too “religious”. There is one blurry creatures podcast for every one million paranormal type podcasts out there.

This podcast is truly a journey!
Every time I share this podcast I have to state Look, I am not a Bigfoot fan BUT you have to listen to this! Although I will admit that Bigfoot is out there WHAT it is I don’t know! Luke and Nate do a great job of hosting and producing this podcast! I have learned so much about the ‘hidden’ side of the Bible, our American/government history and the blurry-verse! I really appreciate how they allow their guest to share/lead as the guest wants. They never make you feel like they have an agenda and they are willing to fall down rabbit holes. Some of the best episodes are way over an hour long because they want to explore the detours instead of staying ‘with the program’! They also do a fantastic job of asking MY questions! Keep up the great work of spreading knowledge both in the biblical and the blurry and please keep blowing our minds!

i found a home!
i’ve always been interested in mythology, the paranormal and cryptids, etc. but never knew what to do with my curiosity because the church doesn’t really cover these subjects. i had lots of questions and was always left unsatisfied with the typical answers. in blurry creatures i finally found a lil home/community that combines my curiosity and faith and it has been wildly fun, eye opening, and informative. i still use discernment and take some things with a grain of salt, but i’m loving the overall journey! i believe this podcast was made and needed for times like these and i don’t think it’s a coincidence that it’s rising in popularity! it just goes to show how lots of people have similar questions (especially Christians), and Nate and Luke are leading the charge. keep going please!

I’m not crazy, after all.
I was introduced to Blurry Creatures about a month ago and have binged the whole show since. My first thought is, “I’m not crazy, after all.” I say this because my entire life has been filled with questions and speculations about things considered, “Myth, legend, or fantasy.” Listening to the interviewees I realized that I am not at all alone in my questioning of what I was taught in school and religion as being the 100% definitive truth. I don’t take everything said on this show as that definitive truth I am seeking, but it is wonderful to know that many others out there are unsatisfied with the literal text book answers that don’t seem to add up. I will also say that this podcast has done more to strengthen my particular faith and beliefs that my years spent in the church and even at seminary have. This is not because the hosts of guests, “Cram the Bible down your throat,” but rather because they are willing to address some of the most difficult questions surrounding the Bible, Christianity and all things “blurry” in the paranormal and cryptid spaces. I cannot recommend this show enough.

This podcast brings hope in a dark world
A few years ago I had an experience with a demon that oppressed me that rocked my perspectives on life. I was left so confused and questioned my sanity. I felt alone and isolated for so long. It wasn’t until I came across blurry creatures that I finally had answers to my questions. I wish I had the church to fall back on during that time in my life, however it’s good to know that there is a community of believers that exist that see through the veil. I no longer feel alone. I found Blurry Creatures on IG by following KingKat2.0. With what’s happening in the world today Nate and Luke are right on target. Love the guests you have and the variety of supernatural creatures (or are they?), but mostly I love that your main pillar of knowledge is the Bible. What is in it and what is not, and why not and the ancient world history that has been hidden. The knowledge and experiences of your guests can be mind boggling. I’m amazed that BigFoot leads to God! Nate and Luke ask great questions and invite guests with a wide variety of beliefs. They don’t judge but they navigate this crazy space like experts. They call themselves “a couple dummies in search of truth,” but I think they’re a lot closer to it than most of my scientist friends (I’m a research scientist at a national lab). Being a person who has an education in Biology and a minor in Biblical Theology, it’s hard to find a space where the illogical can be explored in a logical way while still keeping God as your source. Thought provoking and fascinating
Friend of mine here in Nolensville TN turned me on to this podcast and I’m hooked. I was a youth bible teacher when I lived in Denver and did a deep dive on Goliath. Kids loved it when we measured and drew an outline of Goliath (6 cubits and a span, or 11.5 feet). I’m a CPA but want to start planning trips to start checking out these ancient burial grounds here in Tennessee.

Fun & Educational, Binge-worthy
This is the most informative and fun podcast I have ever listened to. Nate and Luke work hard to provide varied content about “blurried creatures” that is by-far more evidential than mainstream “Bigfoot hunters”. When I started this podcast, I was more interested in hearing about the giants & kind of laughed at the idea of Bigfoot, now I’m convinced the majority of these cryptids are real and I don’t ever want to meet them. Beyond that, the Biblical components of this show, which seem genuine and unintentional (meaning the conversations aren’t forced, they come up naturally because of the material at hand), are what make this podcast entirely worth it for me personally. I do disagree with some things the guests and even the hosts say, but at the end of the day this podcast is so respectful of differing opinions while presenting facts. (Unfortunately, it’s likely the few low reviews are from people who cannot stand others with differing opinions and ideals.) I highly recommend this podcast!

Mind blowing and incredible
I freaking love this podcast. I’ve been researching these topics for 3 years independently, and I’m so impressed by Nate, Luke, their love for Jesus, and their ability to hunt for TRUTH. I wish I had stumbled onto this podcast sooner on my own journey searching for answers. I’ve been binging it since discovering it in July, and I’m always learning something new! I’ve been reading and watching a lot of the materials from guests they have interviewed since 2019, and now I keep getting introduced to more legends I was previously unaware existed. My favorite podcast of ALL!
So much of the subject material is in my wheelhouse of interest, but this is by far the best presentation with the most interesting lineup I have ever heard by far. I mean nothing is even close. Luke and Nathan do an amazing job, and the way this show naturally evolves into an amazing revealing of truth is astounding. I couldn’t possibly give Blurry Creatures a higher recommendation! I have told numerous friends and family about it, after having heard about it from my sister. 100% enjoyable and binge-able material. This is the real deal, without the shills and cons. Well done gentlemen, and keep those great guests coming in!

Ever since I was a kid I was fascinated with myths, supernatural creatures, and fantasy! Even after I got saved I still had this desire to be amazed. When I realized the Bible was deeper and wider than I expected it completely filled my heart and soul! THIS CHANGED MY PERSPECTIVE FOR MYTHICAL MONSTERS
I can’t belive how good this is and the first one that I heard was the Bigfoot podcast. And I think I might have heard a animal in my backyard that was definitely not human, I live in the forest and I see all kinds of animals in my backyard but when I heard that sound, I RUSHED inside, I told my mom and dad and they said Bigfoot isn’t real. But now my mom and dad listen to this podcast and it changed our perspective. Now my mom and dad believe that what I heard was maybe a Bigfoot. Go ahead and laugh. But I’m not lying 😕. I researched after listening to this podcast and a found out that a LOT of people heard creatures that they couldn’t explain, I watched all sorts of videos about these monsters. A BUNCH of them were fake, but about 1% out of 99% looked like it was truly real, I haven’t heard that noise ever since. I am mindblown of how crazy this is and after listening to this podcast… I truly believe that there are blurry creatures.

A Must Listen
I began studying scripture in great depth about 6 years ago & quickly realized there’s so much the “church” doesn’t address & won’t. I quickly left behind traditions & pursued scripture with a passion…I began to question everything we’re taught about history & more but it’s still very conspiracy & not discussed much. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon Blurry Creatures Podcast about 2 weeks ago. I figured I’d just listen to a couple & probably move on…the exact opposite happened. I was hooked & found myself throwing my arms up in the middle of episodes saying “finally” or “EXACTLY”. I highly recommend this podcast. The guests are so different but each is interesting. There’s excellent banter and questions being asked. Do yourself a favor, listen…NOW!

Entertaining (dot dot dot)
Look, there’s no way any one theological position gets everything correct and this podcast does a great job exploring uncharted waters. It’s a wild ride and a lot of fun! However, they do ignore thousands of years of church history and scholarly interpretation in favor of UFOs and modern-day giant tribes. It’s eisegesis: interpreting scripture assuming one’s own backdrop is more relevant to the text than, say, Thomas Aquinas’ was. So while I look forward to most episodes and hope the show sticks around, I pray Nate and Luke take some time to study theology and Ancient Near East culture to help them better understand the nuances of scripture and present a more well-rounded and intellectual podcast about Bigfoot and the Bible. Master the basic doctrines of the faith before diving into the deep end. It was all fun and games until the show blew up in popularity. Now I believe Nate and Luke have a duty to be careful and responsible with their guests and data. I love Bigfoot and I think it’d be great if he were real and we found him. But I love good theology and biblical interpretation more and I already know we can find these. Nate and Luke are always saying they’re “a couple of dummies”. Well, quit that! There are two-thousand years worth of biblical scholars who lived before Roswell who dedicated their lives to the scriptures. Like it or not, Nate and Luke, you guys are leaders now. People come to your podcast for biblical teaching. People are being introduced to Jesus through your show. Please be faithful and honest disciples. Don’t just assume everything pre-Blurry Creatures is worthless simply because they never wrote about stargates and UFOs. Love the show. I want to see it grow. I want to see it be the best version of a Bible/Bigfoot podcast possible!

I didn’t realize I’d love this podcast so much, but I can’t stop listening. I’ve gone through searching for all of Tim Alberino episodes, don’t ever stop bringing him on! I probably wouldn’t have been interested in it had it not gone in such a “Genesis 6” direction. I love how God is working through Ya’ll! I have listened to podcast after podcast on cryptids and the paranormal and finally there is one that takes a spiritual, globally historical, biblical perspective. The hosts do such a great job it sounds like you’re just chilling with your friends, getting into that stuff. When you know this stuff exists, that is hard to find. We love mythology in our home and how every story story points right to Jesus, the young hero always has to die to save humanity. We just finished reading Norse Myths and all about trolls and The Jotuns, and now the Gods mating with humans in all Greek mythology seems so much more real.

The real mind blowing stuff
I’ve been called a conspiracy theorist for years now because of my views of the government, vaccines, transhumanism, etc. after listening to this podcast that stuff is kindergarten level. I have had my mind blown and can’t stop listening to this podcast. I grew up Catholic and Christian and I can’t believe how much stuff was glossed over. What they talk about makes sense, it’s like puzzle pieces coming together. Yet, it’s still hard to wrap my head around.

I’ve listened to nearly 100 episodes. I really tried to like it I promise.
I promise I tried. I gave it a fair shake. The show is a constant circle-jerk of self confirming victimhood, paranoia, and the self described need for the world to be more interesting than it might be in reality. That is borderline forgivable until you factor in the terrible editing and crappy theme music for “effect” randomly placed throughout episodes.

Finally a place asking the same questions I’ve been asking!
I came across Blurry Creatures as a callout from someone else I follow and I’m so happy I found it! Growing up a child of the 80s I was fascinated by shows like In Search of that dealt with somewhat fringe topics. I was curious about Bigfoot, aliens, and ancient megastructures. I was convinced there’s a lost civilization buried in the Sahara (I still am). But growing up in the church there were never any answers that made sense to any of the questions I was asking, and I had more questions the older I got. Luke and Nate seem to ask the same questions! Around the same time I came across Blurry Creatures I had also come across Dr Michael Heiser who happened to be a guest on this podcast. Now things seem to be lining up and making sense! I still cannot fully fathom the scale of the tapestry of worldwide events during ancient times but the depth of knowledge all of their guests have seems to fill in a lot of the spaces between the dots. I’ve been working thru this podcast about ten episodes a week, hoping to catch up to current episodes before too much longer! I really appreciate the work that goes into putting this podcast together with all of the amazing guests they get to participate and I love all the 80s references!

I’ve never heard anything like her. The last half hour of episode 109 is so full of extra biblical ‘triple helix’ Satan ‘taking on human form to have nephilim babies’, numerology nonsense I’ve ever heard. Hermohn..Herman? Which is it? Needless to say I think she actually believes the nonsense coming from her mouth. This will be good to play in Sunday school to teach about eisogesis and borderline heresy.

I’m not superstitious, just a little stitious.
Saw kingKat posting about this pod a few times and then had an interesting conversation with my brother in law about his Bigfoot sightings and made me want to hear some other people’s stories as he shared his theory about him being a son of Cain and more of a spiritual thing then biological creature, so I decided to give a listen here. This podcast has not disappointed with making me think bigger and broader when it comes to these stories of blurry creature sightings being true because of their biblical perspective and having the needed conversation of the unseen realm. I’ve always had my theories but thought I was alone in them and don’t want to be seen as so wacky to the average western American church goer. But I feel seen about the unseen after listening to this podcast and all the guest they have had! It’s already impacted my faith journey as Im thinking more of the inter-dimensional world we live in and our faith history full of the supernatural. My prayer life has increased as i realize the impact of my prayers! Opening up a portal and brining Gods will on Earth as it is in Heaven! Appreciate you guys having these convos and the very diverse guests you have! My brother in law and his unique Bigfoot stories could be a fun addition to your podcast! His stories sure made me more open to the idea of Bigfoot being real! Thanks guys! You’re rad.

Addicting
This show is so incredibly well done, both in episodes and in social media. I love getting resources after each episode to visually piece together what’s being discussed. The hosts do a fantastic job moderating this complicated content also. I was at a new friend’s house and heard the theme music being played and he said “oh sorry about that I hit play on accident,” and I said “Blurry Creatures?” His eyes opened wide and we talked for a looooong time after that!

This is the church I want to go to!
A friend sent me Episode 86 and I was immediately hooked. I listened to that episode a couple times and then went back and started binging from episode 1. I just received a vile message from someone on Facebook because of an intelligent comment I made about a hockey game. It has nothing to do with this podcast, but when you spoke about the “hate mail” you are receiving, it resonated with me (I’m way behind on listening). You will always have people angry at you when you post contrary opinions out there. That’s why I love this podcast. You call out the historical narrative and social norms and challenge listeners to do their own research. In college I took a class on Darwinism so I could understand the other side’s views. The professor made negative comments about me being a Christian. Sorry for talking about myself so much, but I say it to encourage you to keep soldiering on with reporting on the fringe topics that challenge narratives. Great work!

Thought Provoking & Binge Worthy!
I started listening in late March after been given a fantastic recommendation from my adult son! Listened to a few episodes and became a supporting member right away. Nate & Luke are truly thoughtful, intelligent and sincerely curious Christian men of Faith. They aren’t afraid of asking the questions that many Christians might have about the “strange” or supernatural view that is in the Bible. They have some of the best Guests who are well educated, articulate and truly straight talking people. I really enjoy their Biblical worldview and their honest questions. So refreshing and it has truly helped this old Christian see the Bible in a way that I always suspected yet no Church teaching has ever touched! Listen to this podcast, it’s well worth your time and you just might see your Bible and our Creator God in a whole new wonderful way!

I’m 35 episodes in and I can not get enough. I love Bigfoot and cryptids of all kinds and that’s what I originally came to this podcast for. But I’ve struggled for years with my spiritual beliefs and where/how it all comes together. The Bible stories I was taught, just didn’t match what I could see. You’ve inspired me to read the Bible. You’ve inspired me to pray more. You’ve inspired to dig deeper and ask more questions. You’ve gave me endless food for thought. I love the different guests with different and conflicting views. I love your openness and how you let the podcast take what ever path it wants. In a world full of so many narratives it is so refreshing to listen to something that flows so naturally. Thank You! Critical Thinking + Biblical Worldview
I love this podcast! Found it through another podcast (Cultish). I am a bigfoot enthusiast and have been since a child. Love sci-fi and my siblings hated my TV choices growing up. What I love about blurry creatures is it is critical thinking coupled with a Biblical worldview…no one else does that. Through all the guests it is like tying so many blurry things together as it relates to scripture. I’ve always been a researcher and life long learner. Critical thinking is a lost skill among the young. This podcast is wonderful and I don’t feel as strange about my viewpoints…gives me a boldness. As far as the hosts, those guys are down to earth and genuine in their search for truth and examining new ideas. Keep up the awesome work!

I didn’t want to listen at first, but now I Love it!
I put this podcast off for a long time because I heard it was about Bigfoot. I know a lot of weird hipster Bigfoot chasing wannabes so I was immediately off put by it. I finally gave it a chance and love how it loops around to cover things Biblically, especially the giants and the evidence for them. The giants, nephilum, etc… also, I’m a female and I know it’s mostly guys who are into this but I love how the episodes seem to build on each other and each one opens up a different pathway to seeing how the world was thousands and even hundreds of years ago. Worth a try
It’s different than anything else out there. I was raised in a Christian home but have been on a bit of a spiritual hiatus for the last 10 years…this podcast has oddly helped ignite my interest in opening my Bible and exploring my faith again. The Final Nephilim was the first episode I listened to because I randomly saw it mentioned in Instagram comments and I was hooked pretty quickly. Some are less great than others…but those are mainly early ones before they found their groove.

If you’ve been looking for a paranormal show lead by Christians, this is it….These dudes are great! I always felt like a rare breed in regards to being an open minded Christian when it came to all things paranormal. Blurry Conjecture
I have no clue why this is in the “Nature” category. I was hoping for a fun, informative look into cryptids and mythological creatures, but this is much more diet QAnon than a wildlife guide. I can appreciate coming at the topic of mysterious creatures from a religious viewpoint, but I can’t take any archaeological info from this seriously when the biblical flood is talked about as a concrete historical event. The most recent episode is about how the Astroworld tragedy was a blood sacrifice made possible by vaccines: are you kidding me?! If you’re looking for a fun cryptid podcast, turn back now. This is QAnon with some Bigfoot sprinkled in.

My son has ALWAYS known since he was tiny - refusing to go into our pinewoods alone. I wasn’t really sure to be honest. I didn’t close my mind off to the possibility. Something that will blow your mind!
1st, I love your show. I am a Born again, Bible believer by Christian. Anyways, I have a great idea for your show. It will probably give you plenty of content for a great amount of shows too. I was listening to a podcast and that interviewed this lady, I believe she was Hindu. She was a psychologist. She was talking about how she hypnotized people that was diagnosed with schizophrenia . Her findings!!???!!? Oh my lanta! She talks about how she ended up talking to all different demons. They told her how the human body works, how they enter people. Even that they go to a school like thing to learn how to do this. Said that kids are NOT off limits. They get more people at funerals and hospitals. Mind blowing! I don't know her name, but it is worth you doing some research and finding out who this lady is. Again, love your show. God Bless.

Lost in translation
Ok, so where to begin. I listen to a lot of podcasts and I must say in many ways this show seems like a bunch of other shows strung together. The opening of the show is the typical string of sounds and voices over music that at least 8 other podcasts in this genre use. The show being described as a 1980's show accounts for nothing more than a few vauge references to the host's childhood obsessions and some Stranger Things music. I don't care what people's religious beliefs are but if you think this show is anything other than a sounding board for fundamentalist Christian views then you are sorely mistaken. The approach is not see what the evidence says, its let's bend every possible paranormal topic to fit our religious viewpoint and narrative. I appreciate the host's passion and interest in the topics but it is all too much and completely one sided. Not to mention I have yet to hear any actual proof for anything that has been discussed on the show to this point.

Guys this show is the most interesting thing in my ears right now! Nate and Luke are just asking questions and listening to the answers… all kinds of answers from all kinds of people. They don’t all agree and I don’t agree with all of them. We need more questions that can’t be answered correctly 100% of the time. We need more freedom to entertain ideas so that we can grow more and more comfortable with mystery. That’s the good work of this show in my life right now.

Stumbled on blurry creatures early and so glad I did! From episode 1 on the show has naturally progressed a narrative that tells us the true history of our planet. The hosts Nate and Luke keep it light, but ask great questions of their guests. The audio is clear and crisp, the music and production value is top notch. The Indiana Jones of Podcasts
The 1 star reviews are hilarious. Why do you find a podcast, expect them to change their show to fit your liking, leave a 1 star, and a salty comment? Mr Secular Intellectual has 1000s of other shows to listen to. Nobody forced you to listen to this you keyboard cowards. This show is akin to the old 4th watch show but sticks mainly around the creatures aspect hence the name. They’ve had the Mr Rushmore of biblical scholars, theologians, and researchers on their show to present their ideas. To clarify, when they say ‘enemy’ they aren’t referring to non-Christians. They are referring to satan and the forces of darkness that are at enmity with the body of Christ.

I really think it’s great.
I find that as I get older it’s easy to just consume entertainment and look for more but this podcast really got me out of that cycle. I’ve had some crazy things happen in my life and hearing the guests talk about they’re experiences and how they’ve coped and lived after has really helped me. Also and most importantly it’s been a boon for my faith I had been very jaded and felt very alone in my pursuit to know god but to see him clearly not through the eyes of others hearing the hosts and guests has made it clear im not. Sometimes and maybe now to be closer to God is to be far from mainstream Christianity. Great podcast great message.

Exactly what I needed!
I love this podcast! Nate and Luke are great and they find great guests. I’ve seldom heard a biblical worldview applied to Bigfoot or UFOs but the way they tie it in with the Bible and other Ancient Near East writings and languages works and is incredibly fascinating. I can’t stop listening. If you are a believer in Christ and want to dive into the parts of the Bible your church never touches, this podcast is definitely for you. If you’re not a believer but would like to hear another perspective, Luke and Nate talk to a variety of people with different world views. But they do an excellent job of showing how Bigfoot, UFOs, giants, dinosaurs, Nephelim, Extra Terrestrials, Watchers, Demons, Angles, and God are connected to us. You will find it weird, fascinating, entertaining, and enlightening. Timothy Alberino is my favorite guest, love it when he’s on. Thank you Luke and Nate! This is my new favorite podcast!

Fantastic Show, Fantastic Content
This is the show I’ve been looking for! I was told about it from a friend and ever since listening to the first episode, I haven’t been able to stop listening! I love the ability to journey through all these topics and maintain a biblical perspective and grow deeper in my faith through these journeys. Nate and Luke are great hosts and do a great job of keeping the conversation relevant and moving forward. I love how with each progression of episodes it is painting a beautiful picture of the world we live in as well as leave us to think for ourselves. I’m sharing this show with everyone I meet!

The memes!
I saw blurry creatures memes on Instagram and I couldn’t resist. I then listened to episodes 41-42 back to back. Now I can’t stop talking about this podcast. I’ve gone back and started at the beginning and am on episode 9 (on Spotify). This podcast is fun and engaging and hip. Well produced and edited. If I made a podcast, I would be studying this one.

I’m Hooked!
I’ve never really paid much attention to the whole Bigfoot phenomenon, but after listening to the conspiracy theory episode that featured the pastor of the church I attend, I became intrigued. I decided to start at episode one, am currently on episode eight, and I can’t turn this podcast off. This is by far one of the most original podcasts I’ve come across. I highly suggest you keep an open mind and enjoy the show!

Such a great show
Nate and Luke do an excellent job of illustrating the potential origins of blurry creatures/cryptids. It is difficult to explain anything regarding Bigfoot or any other cryptic being without providing some historical evidence and context. I love listening to these two interview experts on history. The personal experience interviews are also fantastic and I have not heard the same folks on other podcasts. This is a great show and I highly recommend you listen to it starting with episode 1.

I really want to like this.
I rarely review podcasts, but listen to many. I’m reviewing this to try and help the hosts, because they seem like good folks. I’ve tried to get on board with this show. I really have. The hosts are decent, seemingly humble people who have a genuine interest in the strange creatures that may or may not haunt the wilds of our planet (and beyond). They seem like people you’d want to have as friends. Fun 1980s music, safe for work, good production value. The first few episodes were great. The hosts have decided to lean into their faith based thinking and get on the train of the Biblical interpretation of these “Blurry Creatures”, which is a fascinating subject to explore. I am compelled by this Christian take on high strangeness, despite not having any affiliation with any organized religion. It was fascinating to think of the biblical interpretations and potential for subtextual relevance for the realm of spirit and cryptids. For a while they seemed to tow a line that would not alienate others who didn’t share their particular world view, which was great. Recently the show has become so dense with Christian “inside baseball” and guests/theories that really stretch credibility, which is saying something when your focal point is Sasquatch. Many of these episodes suppose that all listeners understand the intricacies of the Bible and Church culture so much so that following the show is almost painful at times. There is also an undercurrent of conservative politics and alienating statements about people who aren’t in “the club” that feels a bit off putting. If you could present these ideas in a more neutral way that was accessible to “the rest of us”, without calling us “the enemy”, I would love to continue listening. I would think Jesus would be into a couple of his cool followers just exploring this stuff with friends from afar. Cheers from sunny Seattle, WA - all the best.

One of my top fave podcasts
This is a really awesome and unique podcast. And it’s so well done! I enjoy the 80’s nostalgic music bites. The topics are spooky, intriguing and well researched. I like folklore and mystery podcasts but this delves EVEN deeper, it really makes you think about an even bigger picture while also getting totally creeped out that there’s a good possibility these creatures existed or do exist. Their discussions with guests are SO fascinating, and I love hearing all the theories. I have to admit I can’t listen at night though!

Changing my review
After listening to a few more episodes, it’s obvious that this podcast has gone off the rails. If you’re interested in Coast to Coast AM meets the Divine Council worldview, then this will be your jam. I gave up after hearing that the Nephilim created the Fed and also provide roadside assistance in Guadalcanal. LOL. Circular reasoning and logical fallacies by the bucket load. Read Dr. Heiser’s books instead.
