Life vs Fitness
I became a podcast listener after reading Ben’s book Boundless. I’m grateful to Ben for introducing me to the rich world of podcasts. In particular, Ben’s content used to be insightful and informative. But every since Ben changed the podcast from Ben Greenfield “Fitness” to Ben Greenfield “Life”, my experience has diminished. I feel Ben wants to be some Christian guru or something. It gets annoying. I’m a Christian who enjoys sharing nutrition, fitness, and bio hacking advice with friends and family. I can do that without constantly reminding them of my beliefs. Please don’t misunderstand me. I don’t find fault in people’s beliefs. But when Ben was touting employment opportunities for Ben Greenfield Life, the whole spill was off putting. It sounded like recruiting propaganda for a cult. Finally, Ben’s preachy take on plant medicines (psychedelics) deviated from the Ben I’d grown to appreciate. Nonetheless, I still listen, just not as often as I used to.

Came For Health, Left Do To Religion
This is Ben Greenfield’s show, but I wish he would make it into 2 different shows. I love the information he has to share around health and I think spirituality is a huge part of that, but that does not include religion. I think it is possible to address spirituality without pushing a specific religion. Sadly this show does the latter and it gets in the way of receiving the other information. I love what He is trying to do. I just think he has stepped on to the wrong path with this journey.

Ben 2.0 the Jesus edition
Ok, that’s fine it’s his life and show. There’s good information here BUT…..listen for a couple of days and you’ll hear him say he eats supplements all different types everyday. Like he must eat a pound of supplements every hour by the sounds of it. Dude, if your into the Jesus thing maybe abide by the Jesus thing and tell the truth because we all know your not hucking that many pills down your throat! You can advertise supplements without saying you take them everyday because after listening to you for a month we all know it’s not possible, it’s not honest advertisement.

Fitness guru turned bible thumper.
My oh my, how far Ben has shifted from fitness guy to pushing his biblical beliefs on everyone. It seems a massive cognitive dissonance to talking about the science of the body to talk about the earth only being 6000 years old and a flood creating the Grand Canyon and the plant medicines offering “light and love” but really that’s EVIL. What happened dude?

Good stuff
Good show. Initially found the nutritional facts interesting and fun. Began hearing Ben talk about his faith as a Christian and have since seen his show transition to a whole-life type podcast. Do yourself a favor….
Wow! Where do I even start. First and foremost I want to thank Ben himself for all of his hard work, dedication, resiliency, and compassion. It started a few years ago for me. A friend of mine recommended to give his podcast a listen. Boy am I glad that I did! I love everything Ben stands for. His geeked out approach to everything related to health and wellness and even more important, his loving approach to proclaiming Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Is the audience being kept in mind?!
I just listened to the episode on how much exercise is too much and it’s like Ben’s forgotten about the audience. The entire thing may as well have been spoken in Swahili because I couldn’t understand a word of it. The jargon and words in these episodes need to be broken down so an audience can interpret the content! Please! I know Ben does his research and has really good content but if I could change this one thing- that would be it.

Highly Impactful Out of the box ideas
As I was recommending this Podcast to two people at my training facility, I realized I failed to recommend it online. Ben and his guests provide great stunning biological and chemical details that sometimes are above my head, but then summarize where a layman can understand it. I like the details because it demonstrates the depth of research and due diligence they perform before sharing with a Podcast Audience. I also really appreciate the show notes so you can do an occasional deep dive on a topic that may be briefly broached, but sounds interesting. Although I’m not a fan of commercials, I do find the sponsors to be interesting because the products are esoteric or serve an interesting niche. Finally, I loved his Spiritual Disciplines Journal. Using it made me feel like I had the green light to be more intentional about living out the two greatest commandments. I also think it took a lot of courage for Ben to share his Christian faith in a very public forum. I hope he and his family experience the blessings this book gave me.

There’s a million sources of information supporting the narrative, so it’s refreshing to get a different take. We are heading into a very different time now, and thanks for sharing valuable info.

Disappointed in the hunting episode, not for the reasons you think
I love the podcast. However, I was very disappointed in the hunting episode where you spoke very demeaning of “rednecks who dump corn and sit in a tree and kill a deer with a huge weapon.” (I am paraphrasing a bit). Not everyone has the time or the means to participate in these hunting practices that you speak of. My family hunts every year for meat. Yes, we use corn and shoot the deer from a stand, with rifles. But we thank God and the deer, process it ourselves, and feel so thankful throughout the year when we eat it. As far as the pig hunting from helicopters. Please research how much of an exponential problem wild pigs are in Texas and Oklahoma. Hunting them one by one would make it absolutely impossible to control the population. Even with the helicopters, the numbers are insane and uncontrollable which is terrible for the pigs and many other types of animals. I understand that there are some people who hunt only for the trophy, and do just sit on their phones, drinking a beer, not thinking about the significance of what they are doing when they kill an animal. So yes, I understand what you are saying to an extent, but please see another side to this for us normal folks.

Changed my life!
If you would have told me a year ago I would be fasting, taking cold showers, and sipping bone broth like Baby Yoda, I would have thought I lost my mind. But Ben’s health and fitness advice have helped me lose weight while gaining muscle and feel more confident in myself. I love the combination his scientific and spiritual approach.

Best show!
I had the pleasure of hearing Ben speak live in California a few years ago. Since then I’ve been hooked on his content. As far as journalists go, I don’t know of anyone who is more objective in their writing. Ben is clearly a student for life. I trust his reviews because he puts everything to the test and provides us listeners with advice on how to do the same. He has balanced discussions with his guests, no matter the topic. The guy is extremely well accomplished in the fitness world as a coach and competitor. He walks his talk! Boundless (his book) is a wealth of organized info on pretty much every topic Health and fitness related. Im empathetic to the fact, not everyone has the same world view. So, I saved my favorite part about Ben’s show for last. He’s strong in his faith and I love the stories he tells about raising his boys and growing closer to God along side his wife. Ben, you inspire growth and development in so many ways. Thank you, brother!

I don’t know a good title…
I wasn’t entirely sure what title to use for this, so I opted out of titling my review! 🤷🏼♀️ Anyway, I recently started listening to Ben Greenfield (thanks to Jay Shetty). However, I have a tendency to go all-in when I start something, so I (possibly unhealthily) binged many of Ben’s episodes. The podcast is incredible. He is approachable, knowledgeable, holds true this his values, and is just an overall rad dude. I also recently tried the product Feel Free (he has an episode where he interviews the founder). I am a bit over 4 years sober (alcohol and the occasional dabble with cocaine were my drugs of choice). This product is wonderful and really opened up a whole realm of possibilities for me. If you’re a learner and like to improve your overall health, listen to this podcast! It’s phenomenal!

Time to part ways with Ben
I have been an avid listener of Ben’s podcast for the past six years. His information on fitness and nutrition has always been interesting, if not always fully substantiated. That’s kind of the nature of “biohacking,” so I was not bothered by it and took it for what it was. But now Ben has strayed pretty far from fitness and nutrition, into politics, law and — yes — vaccines, where he is woefully uninformed. Intentionally or unintentionally, he is allowing his show to be used as a platform for disinformation and unvetted, fringe theories. I am actually sorry to unsubscribe, but I can no longer in good conscience support this show. On his show, Ben has lately taken to joking about being “canceled” — but is it really canceling if you are putting out ideas that are too ill-informed or just plain dumb to survive in the marketplace of ideas? Ben can of course say what he wants, but we don’t have to listen.

I’ve been a listener since 2015. Ben changed my life. Simple as that. I was in a cut throat high pressure sales gig (great money) - but listening to him inspired me to dive into the wellness industry. Now Heal.me is the largest community of wellness practitioners & I get to do what Ben does on a much smaller scale. Interview holistic practitioners to be a part of our mission to make wellness primary care. Way to move the needle forward for holistic health Ben. You really lived up to ~blending ancient wisdom with modern science~ . When you love what you do, you know the rest! By the way. I can’t put into words how happy I am you’re hyper aware of the precious line of freedom we’re protecting. None of this adds up. The numbers, the draconian measures, lack of follow up studies / openness to breakthrough / natural immunity etc etc. I see in some of these reviews people are still stuck in the propaganda of last year- that this stops transmission. The mass hysteria is fading slowly but surely. Great on you to bring on Dr McCullough. The most published cardiologist doctor who’s treated thousands of C19 cases. That man will be looked back on as an absolute hero. Eternally grateful to stumble upon you - & excited to see the future of your career as well as the two young gunners you got! They’re studs! Audio Quality / Podcast Quality
It used to be that the audio quality was much better. The most recent episode discussing CAROL is terrible. Ben, please sort out a way to ensure at the very your audio quality is good. I know you take feedback seriously and I appreciate your show but lately it has been lackluster. You may find it. Ice to interview guests while walking or while holding a wired mic close to your mouth but it isn’t enjoyable and the information is super important. Maybe take a page from Tim Ferris and use some quality gear that is simple or if you have too much on the plate have some rotating hosts. Also, it seems you should really mail down the names of your guests before jumping on the show. If you’re going to invite them on the show I think you should get it right. All said, I appreciate what you do and the information you share but I have to change my review until those things change.

Respect Ben’s Decision on Covid Vaccine But…
Do not respect how he pulls on weak science to make his case to remain unvaccinated vs FDA approved medicine that requires a much higher threshold. Fine if we are talking about relieving something minor but simply irresponsible when speaking of Covid, which continues to negatively impact millions of people.

Shame on Ben Greenfield
I know that Ben is ant-vaccine but his last podcast was over the top irresponsible. Ben says that the vast majority of Covid deaths are the elderly or those who have chronic conditions, which is true. However, he neglects to tell how the Delta variant has changed things. Covid deaths of Covid unvaccinated young people are up 3 fold since beginning of summer. Ben says that we shouldn’t go ‘back to normal’ because normal is an America overwhelmed by chronic illnesses. Again that’s true. I agree that the best way to prevent the NEXT pandemic is for Americans to get healthier. However, it’s a little too late for that for COVID. We MUST get vaccinated now and then the country must shift to ALSO focusing on getting Americans to live healthy lives. To disparage the COVID vaccine and tell people they should resist the government controlling their health is despicable. Americans who can must get the vaccine in order to stop the rise in the pandemic. AND America must start to focus on healthy living - over big pharma - to be ready for the next pandemic. SHAME ON Ben Greenfield. While I listen to many many podcasts, yours is the only podcast I subscribe to. I really like your topics as well as how deep you go into the science. However, I am SO disappointed in your ‘Ben got COVID’ episode. As soon as you said that because your symptoms were so light that you thought it was a joke, I turned the podcast off. How blessed you are that your symptoms were mild? Then for you to mock the seriousness of this pandemic with your question ‘we shut down the economy for this?’. I wonder what the millions of exhausted healthcare workers thought of that dismissive and callous statement? I wonder what the families of the 400,000 who have lost a loved one thought? Or maybe one of the thousands of ‘long haulers’ who still are struggling. You obviously have the right to feel as you do but it was incredibly irresponsible for you to say what you did on your podcast. People listen to you. That’s kinda the point of following you. You just gave fuel to the millions who think we are over-reacting, those who refuse to wear masks or social distance. Those that keep gathering at bars, keep travelling, keep gathering in large numbers. Your cavalier comment just validated their thinking. Plus now we have a new, much more contagious variant that will likely challenge our healthcare systems and economy even more. Please please use your platform to encourage people to take this pandemic seriously and ask listeners to do what needs to be done, even if inconvenient, to slow the spread. I am so angry at your dismissing your experience and the seriousness of this pandemic that I cannot listen to you. Maybe I will come back some day but for now I am unsubscribing and won’t be listening. Shame on you Ben. I expected so much more of you.

Hard to justify listening to this anymore
I started listening to this podcast several years ago for health/fitness information and inspiration. Ben has always been a bit pretentious and occasionally presented some questionable science with limited studies, but for the most part he put out a valuable and thought provoking podcast for individuals interested in living a healthy lifestyle. The content he’s put out in the last year or so has become harder and harder for me to enjoy. It’s become less of an objective, informative podcast and more of platform for Ben to talk about himself and stroke his ego. At least he admits he’s a narcissist.

Biggest Fitness Hack of All Time!
Dude contradicts himself every few episodes. Hey Ben, you should change the name of your show to “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back with Ben Greenfield”. Strongly suggest fitness enthusiasts unsubscribe from this hack. A lot of better shows out there like “Fundamental Health Podcast” and “More Plates More Dates” just to name a couple.

Ben is my role model
I’ve heard you are the sum of the 5 people you spend the most time with. I was thinking that, with the amount of BG content I listen to and read, he’s probably in that list for me, and I just want to say thanks!! I’m a 28 year old retired pro hockey player and have been listening to Ben for years. For a holistic approach to health, I haven’t found anyone who works harder than him. In the podcast the podcaster states that although he can look in the mirror and tell that he's not from Africa or Asia because he doesn't have "black skin" and "slanted eyes" but choses to perform genetic testing anyway. I guess he doesn't know that there are many people with African ancestory with skin as fair as his. Also, people of African ancestory don't have black skin. He's confusing a description of a ethnicity with that of a physical characteristic. I stopped listening to this podcast in the past because of the occasional pretentious comments of the host. I was interested in this topic so gave it a listen, but was soon reminded of why I stopped listenting in the past.

Ben considers vaccine
Listened to tons of Ben’s show and never even considered writing a review. This show did it for me! I work in Integrative Medicine and am shocked at the one sided information presented....Ben asked tough questions that received a superficial response. I found the information just short of inaccurate. Long time listener, but holy smokes this one, not cool. Please bring on experts with more expertise. I feel it’s irresponsible to leave people with this one sided podcast. Just keeping it real

Insightful & worth listening
Given the time constraints imposed by daily life, I tend to be very selective in what I spend my discretionary time listening to & Ben’s podcast is one of the handful ones that I truly feel worthy of my time - the other ones being Andrew Huberman & Lex Fridman. Ben has quite a unique style & an ability to tease out practical applicable insights from his guests. At times he may come across as perhaps too full of himself but overall totally worth it. So why not 5 stars? Well there’s always room for improvement 😎

Actually I’m pretty sure we’re around the same age, but holy **** does this guy know a ridiculous amount of incredible factoids about the human body. I’d never heard the term “biohack” before coming across the Ben Greenfield Fitness Podcast, and now I’m kind of obsessed with the wide world of changes (small and large) that can be made to support wellness and longevity. This podcast is an incubator for class envy ... Whenever Ben has a guest who is introducing a new product I immediately look up the product check the price and more often than not just skip that episode because I know Ben and his guest are not talking to me or most of the world for that matter. Poor folks are disdained by this podcast. It makes me want to either play in traffic or go on a rampage. Super smart though.

Best Podcast I’ve Found (not just health and fitness)
I spent years looking for a health and fitness podcast that made sense to me. Many failed subscriptions later, I stumbled on BGF. The first episode had Ben talking about putting coffee up his butt and I thought, “hmmm, that’s different...”. I’ve been listening regularly for over a year now and have come to think of Ben as a mentor, not just around health but in living life as a man. This podcast has connected me with so many other resources, it’s crazy to think less than two years ago I didn’t know any of this stuff. I really appreciate that Ben speaks from his heart and you can hear in his voice that he loves what he does and genuinely wants to TEACH and be a leader.

Occasional good tidbits. Too much religion.
I still listen to this podcast because I do occasionally hear good tidbits regarding health and wellness. But really it should be labeled as a Christian podcast because it seems like that’s what it’s become. You can always tell when he’s about to go on a rant about God. Also seems a bit arrogant, but would probably say it’s okay to be arrogant if it’s being done in the name of God.

People need to calm down complaining about ads. This is how people have the time to make podcasts, do the interviews, edit, etc. Kickbacks are small and podcasters is need to make money based on volume. I’ve listened to most of his podcasts and I never feel over inundated with ads.

A data light infommercial
Tried 4 episodes based on the recommendation of a friend. If you like lots of name-dropping, pseudo-scientific words thrown out without explanation, data free conclusions, lots of anecdotes and a regular dose of potions that will absolutely cure everything from foot fungus to cancer, this is your show. To be honest, I was only able to get through two of the four expisodes. I think it was when he reported that his sons (young I believe) both read and liked the guest's book on essential oils that I shut off. Yes, I can absolutely picture two young buys riveted to a book on fancy oils.

Tracy Duhs is a charming and incredibly intelligent person with the level-headed candor one can really appreciate and learn from. This was a great conversation between two people who seem to be driven by care for others. Ben, your chewing or swishing (whatever it was, it was disgusting) during the moments where Tracy was talking was not only extremely annoying but downright aggravating. I don’t mean to come on here and vent so I will not continue expanding on the noise. To be so distracting while your guest is talking is obtuse. 5 stars for content and everything else. Agree enough god talk
Ben is a talented orator and very smart guy. I really enjoy his pad cast. I practice many of the same protocols etc. and consider a myself quite knowledgeable in this space. However, I agree on the god talk. I was just commenting on this a recently and saw this review. Had to chime in. Ben also could check his ego...it’s become larger than his following. I work in the same space and have talked with people that have spoke/presented at events with Ben. All have said, he’s pretty arrogant Overall, I tolerate some of his indulgent rants because the content is good.

Enough of the God talk
I’ve been listening to your podcast for awhile now and I love the in-depth information that you give. But this God talk has to stop interjecting it’s self into every episode you do. No one faults you for having religion in your life don’t take it that way but if I wanted to listen to a religious podcast I’d seek one out. Pseudo science at best
This podcast is complete pseudo science. Listen to the episode about bio geometry to realize how anti science this podcast really is, they talk about seeing electrons resonate through their third eye (again, seeing the resonation of electrons with an eye!) Then go on to define a new concept called para magnetic energy which cannot be measured unless by someone who is metaphysically tuned in. Then they bash 5G a little and end by an ad for selling you vitamine C and Zinc pills. If this is not the definition of an anti science podcast that sells snake oil then I don’t really know what it is. Save yourself some time and money and eat an orange instead.

Ben is extremely knowledgeable
I’ve listened to Ben now for a couple of years. He has helped me sort through SIBO, grow muscle, and helped deepen my understanding of the biology of how the human body works. What I love most about Ben’s podcast however, is his boldness with his belief in God. You really can’t find that in other nutrition / fitness podcasts. His Fit Soul book is amazing. As a fellow believer in God who also has a deep interest in how the body works, I respect/admire his values and that he’s not just another vain/shallow gym fanatic.

Interesting, well researched topics with a tongue in cheek delivery
The Ben Greenfield Fitness podcast is well worth listening to. It covers a wide array of subject matters and Ben is knowledgeable and incredibly well researched. You might not agree with everything that is covered but that is, in my view, the point of listening. It allows you to go beyond your own realm of interests and expand your views - even if you intensely disagree or think its fringe science. Much of what was considered fringe science a decade ago is now fairly mainstream and if it wasn’t for people like Ben and others pushing the message it may have stayed in the shadows. Personally, I have incorporated quite a few ‘hacks’ that I’ve discovered from listening to the podcast and other, similar, podcasts and I make my own evaluation whether they are worth my time, money and effort. I find Ben’s tips on performance nutrition and exercising especially useful but also that he takes a holistic view on wellbeing. Speaking for myself, I have seen many improvements and benefitted greatly from adopting some of the techniques and supplements discussed on the show – my athletic performance is way better (with less effort and time spent), my energy levels are up and I feel more creative, focused and productive. My mitochondria are thanking me! I have to go lie and meditate in my hypobaric chamber now. Cheerio!

Keeps getting worse
Above 50% of the podcast is used to hawk bens merch which is more than any other podcast I’m aware of. Ben is also against vaccines and recommends colostrum and getting this from a cow that’s been vaccinated for COVID? Loony advice. Also ben wants you to homeschool your kids because public schools are bad. Breakdown is 50% bens or sponsors products 40% fringe science and 10% useful info. It’s been going down hill for the last 2 years.

Greetings fellow weirdos, my name is Michael Phillips, most likely more of a weirdo than you. The Ben Greenfield fitness podcast is what I wish my biology classes were like at UNC. I learn more about how the body functions and interacts with external stimuli than I do in the classroom. I do not know if this is due to the lack of teaching ability at UNC or the complete class of of Ben Greenfield and his guest. I will go with the latter. The content is always fascinating and gives me provocative ideas to think about and meaningful recommendations of how to optimize my own life. Ben does a good job of identifying guests, interviewing in an engaging manner, and then providing great show notes to reference the details in. Nothing but love
I love The Ben Greenfield Podcast. I owe some much to Ben for his awesome content. I decided I wanted to get back in shape about 4 years ago and was looking for a workout podcast and just happened upon his show. It opened my eyes to sooooo much more than just lifting weights and counting macros. Instead of just becoming a “bro”, I now have a passion for holistic health in all the different ways that Ben gets into. It’s so cool how many different topics he delves into. My life has changed for the better because of accidentally choosing his show one day and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. Thank you so much, Ben. I really can’t say that enough!

Ben Greenfield is a genuinely kind person who loves what he does, and what he does is be a beast! Wellness in everything from his physical, mental and spiritual life, he has become one of my heroes in many ways. I respect his word, and listen to everything he puts out. I wanted to bolster his reach to other so bad that I even downloaded this app just to write a review (I listen on Spotify). He talks about the most basic tips all the way up to the leading sciences and back up everything with his own experience. Do your research if you listen
I agree with the review written sept 25, 2020. There are some good nuggets in some of his podcasts, but Ben needs to be more responsible when presenting fringe viewpoints and give context for where the vast majority of scientific consensus lies. And I find it especially irresponsible to present information like the “what really makes you ill” podcast during a pandemic in which we already have anti-science rhetoric hampering efforts to contain the virus. I still listen to the podcast for now, albeit with a very critical ear, but I’m starting to get to a point where his ego and lack of scientific vetting makes a lot of it irritating to listen to. A recent podcast with Dr. Matt Cook was pretty cringey. Dr. Cook seems like a nice person, but the ep was basically everyone patting each other on the back (“circle jerk” as my husband would say crudely), which is good for them but really uninformative and cringe-worthy to listen to. It also bothered me that it was the two women asking the two men questions, and not vice versa. Dr. Cook noticed this and would ask the women their thoughts too, but the whole male-centric, women-as-sidekick thing just made me nauseous. Ben, please use some self-reflection here. You can do better.

Enjoyed until you gave a platform to a dude who says poppers cause AIDS
He said you can’t know HIV causes aids because there hasn’t been a placebo-controlled, double-blind study - which hasn’t happened because it would require giving humans HIV without them knowing. And he goes on to say poppers cause AIDS, without citing his own placebo controlled study. He self selects evidence to fit his agenda. Go ahead and question things but if you’re going to be stepping on the graves of my friends I won’t be listening anymore.

Use this podcast as a way to sharpen your critical thinking skills
Take everything you hear on this (and all wellness podcasts) with a grain of salt. Question what you hear. Consider the source, and whether the information is anecdotal or backed by hard data. Don’t buy into things just because they support your preconceived biases. Acknowledge and challenge your own beliefs and biases constantly. I use an integrative approach to health in my life, drawing from different medicine practices. I also have a PhD and apply the scientific method and use statistics in my work, which means I research things thoroughly before I uptake them into my daily habits. I can appreciate presenting alternative ideas on a podcast, but it’s irresponsible not to discuss the caveats, and it’s in bad form not to be transparent about the evidence or lack of evidence. There’s a lot of that happening on this podcast. Listener beware.

Great Intro to Biohacking
Stumbled upon Ben a few weeks ago and fell down the rabbit hole of Bio Hacking. Now I can’t get enough of his Podcast. I love that he reads the books of his guests and gives his own flare and honest opinions. I wish I lived in Spokane and could get invited over for a BBQ. I’ve implemented intermitted fasting, fasted walks, cold therapy and more into my life and now have the knowledge to explain my views to others. Thanks Ben!

Naveen Jain Interview
Hey Ben, Your interview with Naveen was fascinating. In the last few hundred years of our evolution, it seems like we have applied scientific understanding by exploiting natural resources to improve our well being in sort of a myopic way. We are now beginning to realize the serious consequences of pollution in our soil, air and water from global industrialization that almost seems irreversible for which our kids and grand kids are going to pay if we don’t fix it in time. We also know that much of this effort and change was driven by the primary need to enhance our quality of life. I am afraid that if we are not careful and are not asking critical questions to understand long term effects of widespread use of chemical interventions and artificial supplementation into our bodies, we may face repeating history all over again only with more serious consequences to our existence this time. With people like you and Naveen motivated to upgrade human performance and well being and thinking out of the box for solutions to do this with a moral compass, I am wondering if there is a practical option for optimizing our health and longevity by developing a better relationship between us and our natural surroundings. It seems to me that if we channel our scientific understanding of our bodies and rest of nature towards repairing and restoring our soil, air and water along with everything that grows in and with it we can heal and grow our bodies like our creator has designed and like most of our evolution has proved. Lifegiving
I can’t give enough positive feedback to Ben’s podcast and all the work he does for the health and fitness world. 5+ stars! Our generation should feel so blessed to have such an intellect working tirelessly to help us all pursue longevity. I specifically want to key in to his book “Boundless” for a moment.. I recently finished chapter 17 which discussed specific ways to stay fit and healthy. As I am a chiropractor and an avid yogi/weight lifter I have most of these tips in the bank. Until I discovered a technique he reviews called ELDOA. I had never heard of this before, but after reading about it for the first time in Ben’s book and then doing some further research, the method completely healed a nagging shoulder injury! I feel so lucky and blessed to have this knowledge. Thanks Ben. Please continue to do all this work! I look forward to Boundless, second edition 😉

Life changing
Hey Ben! I started listening you your podcast about 6 months ago after a friend recommended it. I have learned so much from you and have applied a lot of your tools and techniques into my daily life (fasted morning walks, cold showers, carbs at night) This is the first summer I have visual abs and am completely happy with my body (my goal my entire life). I owe it to you. I’d like to thank you for not only changing my life but those around the world. I can’t thank you enough for most recently sharing more on spirituality and Christianity. Love learning about health, fitness, and nutrition
I never miss a single podcast. Actually, this podcast is what got me into listening to podcasts in the first place. Several years ago a good friend of mine, who was a professional MMA fighter, recommended Ben’s podcasts and also the Kion products. He shared some Kion bars and other Kion products with me when we were at a music festival. We looked at the ingredients and talked a lot about the products. I haven’t looked back! I’ve listened to every podcast since that day and have ordered aminos, bars, coffee, and more from Kion. I’ve also ordered products and tests recommended on the podcast and in “Boundless”, which I listened to on Audible. More importantly, I have learned so much! I started drinking my coffee and reading in the sun every morning, going for morning walks in the sun, doing my heavier workouts after warming up to the day gradually, taking the Kion aminos before workout, and taking my daughter evening walks around the neighborhood. I even got some of my co-workers at the firehouse drinking all three Organifi juices and ordering Kion products. As firefighters, our sleep is obviously interrupted and we work long shifts. I would love to hear if Ben has any advice on how to minimize the damage (besides naps of course). We appreciate you Ben!

Ben knocked the cover off on this one
The practical advice, especially the tests to take, for so called adrenal fatigue is the most articulate advice to get started to fix my low energy I've heard. That's the hurdle in better wellness with all the information out there - understanding what to do initially so you can focus on figuring out the trigger(s) of the symptoms etc., then apply the hacks etc. Really appreciate your podcasts.

Inappropriately self righteous
I subscribed to this podcast because he was a guest on another podcast I listened to. And he seemed like he had some good thoughts. One episode in, I was mildly impressed and less intrigued. I began to realize that he doesnt have any real evidence to support his claims, and he is arrogant, condescending, and so self righteous. THEN, I listened to an episode where he bragged about him and his wife and friends not wearing masks in a restaurant, and defying the social distancing rules. The guy he was telling the story to was akin to Bluto’s side kick just tolerating the disregard and faking a chuckle and uh uh, validating BG. Now I know hes a complete idiot. Wearing a mask has nothing to do with your immune system, its to protect other people who may not be so privledged to be in superior health. Just wear the mask to the restaurant take it off when eating.

Amazing
I just listened to the part 1 of rebooting your gut and over the past two month or so I’ve been on this journey to lose weight gain muscle and lower my insulin resistance. I have yet to be check but I have had what I would awesome results. Basically I’ve been eating a lot of whole food more veggies and interestingly enough about four apples a day for about six weeks during this time. Due to Covid 19, my town has been helping our kids by supplying breakfast and lunch. I have six kids and so we would get twelve meals for my kids and apart of these meals would apples. Now my kids like apples but not all the time. Also I have 3 kids under 5 so they would only eat so much away. So long story short trying to reverse my insulin resistance and really not trying to send our food budget through the roof with me being recently diagnosed with pre diabetes, I started taking four apples a day and over the course of six weeks I’d say I dropped about 25 lbs easily. Also combining healthy eating ate breakfast and dinner. But I am definitely hooked with the science and have had some interesting results. Can’t say enough gonna be continuing to listen to more podcasts. Thanks.

Lacks respect for female guests
On his last podcast he apologized to Dr. Olga Stevko & listeners for being critical of her, however this is not the first time with a female guest. If you go back and listen to any or all of his podcasts with the women he interviews (although there aren’t many women interviewed on his podcast) I think you will agree there is an issue here. He does not treat them with the same respect as he does his male guests. He’s questioning , critical and often condescending when he interviews them. It’s almost like he’s trying to put them in their place. I hope more people recognize this and I think Ben needs to take a good hard look at the way he comes across. Please go back and listen to all of your podcasts with women, Ben. If you have any women in your life ask a few what their take on it is.

Dental episode not based in modern science
This is the only episode I’ve listened to from this podcast, but it’s enough to illustrate the fraud of this information. The entire episode is full of invalid research. It skews data and uses anecdotes as if they were fact. The interviewer needs to do his own homework before just believing anything his interviewee is claiming. Especially when they’re as radical as what is portrayed in this episode.

Absolutely Wonderful and Worth
Dear Ben, I hope you read this yourself and hopefully highlight this review on your podcast. I am probably your biggest fan, listener and follower that you’ve never heard about. I have listened to every single episode of the BGF Podcast and never miss any ones that come out. I have even listened to all your interviews on other podcast channels like The Muscle for Life Podcast, The MindPump Podcast, The JRE Podcast etc. I also own the Boundless! I want to to start by saying that the content, the quality of information and message broadcasted is absolutely great. Helpful for every kind of person willing to live an upgraded or shall I say “Boundless” life. The Q&A’s are choke full of information and every answer backed by science and research. If they’re not well researched that’s also mentioned. As for the interviews that you conduct, they are very interesting and the subjects are very well chosen and discussed. Although, I understand that you sometimes avoid challenging the interviewee for obvious reasons, I still think you ask the most crucial and important questions that need answers. So in summary, the podcast is absolutely phenomenal. This said, there’s a couple things I want to note and I hope you answer these on your podcast. You have shown and talked about the importance of essential amino acids for recovery and for overall well being and I completely agree that BCAAs alone are NOT beneficial and you should get the entire spectrum of EAAs. You also talk about the efficacy and importance of the dosages of these EAAs. However, in your KION Amino supplement the actual amount of each amino acid is not disclosed. Why hide behind a proprietary blend when you obviously have the knowledge of the right dosages? Another supplement dosing. You always mention KAPEX as a staple for weight loss and energy and highlight the 7-KETO DHEA. Looking at the research on 7-KETO (examine.com) a daily dosage of 200-400mg is recommended with low research on it. Kapex contains only 0.4mg per serving which is 1000 times less than the research. Why is it that you still back this? So I’m not here to criticize nor do I have more knowledge than you do. I simply listen to you and read and really enjoy your podcast. The takeaway here is that the podcast is awesome and anyone looking to improve their mental, physical and hormonal health should listen!

My Go-To podcast
After hearing Ben through other podcasts, I dived deep into his content. I’m always finding what I’m looking for, exposed to even more around the topic, then leaving with obtainable tips to put into action. Honestly, Ben is someone I find living the ideal life. Scam artist pushing unsafe supplements, be careful
This guy is a scam, I am a medical professional and a trained athlete. I listened to this podcast because he has been a guest on other podcasts I enjoy. Although there is plenty of good advice and interesting concepts, there is too much poor advice based on bad interpretation of scientific studies in his content. He is trying to sell supplements all over the podcast which represents legitimate conflicts of interest. There is a reason many of these supplements are not recommended by medical professionals such as myself. That is because the studies he often refers to when pushing these products are not conclusive and reproduced at the level required to know a product is safe and or effective for human consumption. There are many unseen risks to using these products with limited data tested in non-human models. Extrapolating studies the way he does to push these products is not good science and is unsafe to the people listening, who may not understand the amount of data required to prove a supplement is safe. He is way out of the scope of his education with many of the claims and suggestions he passes on to the readers, and the fact he is getting kick backs for selling these products creates conflicts of interests that are too great even if he reveals them. I greatly urge you to take his claims with a gain of salt, and to be aware that there are often unseen negative outcomes to taking any drug or supplement that has not had years of extensive testing in human trials.

Professsor Ben
I’ve always referred to Ben as Professor Ben when I speak of him to other people. I have a long commute to work everyday and I listen to his podcasts on every commute. It’s my time to learn and trust me, the amount of knowledge you get from Ben and his team is incredible. Just like Jim Kwik says in his book “One step in a better direction can change your destination”. Starting to listen and learn from Ben was my step in a better direction. It’s completely changed goals in my life and has led me to want a life full of health and wellness. And definitely check out his book “Boundless”. Worth every penny!

Great... but a bit overwhelming
I listen to all of your work Ben and it is great. It really is. The only issue I have is feeling that no matter how many ideas I implemented... it is not enough... because what you do is unattainable for most. I envy that you have been able to achieve : do all this... and wish I could keep up. If there is one recommendation... it is to break it down a little more for us little guys! Exhausting host; great information
Ben, we are not all looking up to you as our pinnacle god of health and wellness. Many of us simply wish to be educated on topics you have covered. You choose excellent experts and share fantastic, thorough information. There’s no need to invent a pedestal for yourself and your level of health for your lowly listeners to aspire to. Your best episodes are the ones where you’re authentic. Everyone is fallible, even you. Just be you and teach us about health. We will (and do) enjoy & appreciate learning from you.

Love this podcast!
I am a professional Performer and Choreographer. Dancers/choreographers are unrecognized athletes that have to constantly push our bodies. I am keeping Ben close. He won me over when appearing on stage at a Mind Valley event and offered great bio-hacking tips for workspace. Good poop podcast!
Fun and informative. Not only is Ben's voice cool and calming, the dude is funny and entertaining! He makes the complex intricacies of health and fitness easy to understand and follow. Ben is also not afraid to address many taboo topics in the health industry, often giving personal information and experiences if applicable. By far my favorite podcast, and I listen to many. I have used many tips and products that Ben talks about and have found my performance in endurance sports improve greatly. Keep up the great work!

Huge fan of the show

The application of knowledge is power
Sup, this is Luke. I’ve been a listener of Ben’s podcast for a little over a year now. I sincerely appreciate the unbiased approach he has with the guest on his show and the information that is being presented. Making podcast the way he has done it (long and “chalked full” of information) is how it should be done. No subject that is as important as our well being should be “short and sweet”. The specialist, Dr’s and other guest he has on his show are from all different back grounds, giving you a WIDE variety of information. You’ll literally find anything you want to learn more about on his podcast and in his books. He has undoubtedly given me a TON of knowledge on how to “live an adventurous, joyful, and fulfilling life”. To Ben I say thank you, you have accomplished your goal with me as a listener. Inspiration
Ben has been one of the biggest inspirations to me as someone that is in the middle of trying to leave his 9-5 and start a business on his own. The health and wellness sector can have so many contradicting opinions but Ben is the one person who always expresses facts. His diligence and his passion are what separates him from others. You can feel it in his voice that this is all he thinks about. He cares about others and the Information they receive. This is by far the best podcast for anything health/wellness related.

Cringy advertising
First episode i listened to I had to hear him slurp and swallow some drink he was paid to advertise. He stopped every few minutes and slurped as close to the mic as possible and swallowed loudly and then pushed the product again. Annoying as hell...just to get a few more bucks he put his listeners through that...tried a few more ad filled episodes and that was it. The content to advertising ratio is not worth my time.

Life-Changing
I originally discovered Ben while listening to JRE. I proceeded to watch the other JRE’s and then all of Ben’s podcasts. Being someone who was already trying new supplements, therapies, and workouts regularly, I can’t say how valuable it’s been to me to not only find a kindred spirit but also someone who constantly expanding my horizons in terms of health. It’s been one of the key factors in making this the best year ever for me. The focus recently on spirituality is also important because all the pills and toys can do a lot, but they won’t enhance your life as much if you don’t maintain your mind and sense of community . The episode with your father was quite moving and made me grateful. Look forward to what’s coming in the future!

Brilliant Pitta Mind
Finally a guy who can keep up with me! As a 38 year old dietetics student who just discovered this thing called podcasts, I was on the hunt for a podcast that could pump my brain full of juicy information on my hour-long drive to school, but kept getting bored with one after another. Ben was a guest on an Ayurvedic podcast I was listening to as I realized his name was familiar because his blog has been utilized in my state university level nutrition classes as a learning tool. Turns out our leading dietetics professor is a fan, too. I’ve been listening for a few months and haven’t gotten bored at all; I’ve actually pre-ordered his book. Ben is authentic and brilliant, and chock full of cutting-edge information. As a Navy veteran and Kripalu yoga teacher, I need a balanced approach to mindfulness, fitness, and nutrition, which Ben offers (and then some)! If you think he’s a pretentious jerk, give him a chance. That’s just authenticity in its raw form. It took me a little while to see that. I have also hit a few episodes that were dull, but that’s because his guests were a little too eager to sell a book (but a man has to make a living!). I do honestly prefer the episodes without special guests, but I understand why he has them. Just be patient, and take in all the good stuff!

This isn’t a podcast about health science
This is just one long commercial, and the worst kind of advertising. Low quality research (frequently performed by the sales person/guest on the show) is used to validate questionable claims, products and services. No one with a scientific background, or any semblance of ethics could get behind this show. Ben Greenfield is a businessman, not a scientist.

Entertainment and Knowledge!
Ben, I have only been listening to your podcast since the spring of this year(2019) and while I find your topics and knowledge on all the subjects you cover quite fascinating I can’t but help think in a comical way about your wife and what she must go through being married to you. I can’t begin to tell you how hard I laugh when you talk about her walking by you and asking why your lips are blue or the time time you shared that she had to cut your son’s steaks when you were in the Swiss alps because you couldn’t bring yourself to do that. I then found myself reading a sneak peek to your new book “Boundless” that came in my email and I got to the part where your wife “has-perhaps more then once-had to help” you “clean a coffee explosion off the kitchen walls”...priceless!!! I just want to say thank you for not only sharing your knowledge and learning experiences but also sharing your families experiences along the way. It’s quite entertaining, it’s almost like a book in itself where you only occasionally get snip-it’s of these other characters. You should consider having your wife as a podcast guest...if willing of course! Thank you for all your effort in what you put out there, it is very much appreciated!

Hard to listen to
I really want to like Ben, but he’s tough to listen to. His delivery is boring, and listening to him makes me cringe. He comes across as arrogant. He’s so smart on lots of fitness topics, but I just can’t sit through a whole episode. He’s constantly pitching products which gets annoying too.

I can’t get past the slimey salesman antics
Catchy buzzwords. Topics mostly mean to get your attention. Great marketing ploys, but the constant barrage in the podcasts is too much for me to handle. Its a successful tactic to say “hey, look at me!”, but how many people are you losing due to some level of inauthenticity? The kicker is that this persona doesn’t show up with Joe Rogan. Its just a stream of fantastic information. I wish that version of Ben Greenfield would show up for his own podcast.

A Must Listen for All Nutrition and Fitness Enthusiasts
I cannot stress enough just how great this podcast is! Packed with information, Ben does an incredible job of taking his listener on a deep dive into the sectors of health, fitness, nutrition, and longevity. No matter your current level of understanding of ancestral health, nutrition, science, or bio hacking, each episode will have insightful information that will help you take control of your health. Ben, thank you so much for sharing your acquired knowledge, wisdom, and journey with your listeners. You, and others like Joe Mercola, have certainly been an inspiration to me and have changed my life for the better in countless ways! Keep sharing, inspiring, and shedding light in all things you feel inspired to. One small request (or rather large considering today’s sociopolitical climate) I have is to please make a continuous effort to broach the topic of vaccines. It has been awhile since you have discussed this issue in detail (your podcast: “should you vaccinate your children” was great!). Now, more than ever, the general public needs access to knowledge and truth regarding vaccines. Federal censorship, social media censorship, and a strong push by big pharma are already affecting our children and their future in the highest populated states (California and New York). If the FDA holding our stems cells hostage is a big enough current event, then the CDC and government mandates that are undoubtedly poisoning our babies and children is an absolute MUST cover topic! Potential helpful guests on the topic would include Del Bigtree, RFK, Dr. Susan Humphries, Joe Mercola, and several others. It’s easy for bio-hackers to be so intrinsically focused and allow the extrinsic issues that affect everyone (especially our babies) slide. Especially since our children do not have a voice in this fight. Let’s fight chronic illness at the source on rather than wait until we become symptomatic! Thanks again for all you do! Great resource for all things health!
I have learned so much from this podcast and am always inspired by Ben to learn more and try new things related to my health. I especially look forward to the Q&A episodes where they discuss new research articles and answer listener questions. Ben did more for me then school!
I’ve been following Ben for about 4 years now, first podcast I ever listened to. He taught me more in a year of his podcasts then I did in school. He’s such an intelligent and amazing guy I wish more people out there put the knowledge out there like he does. He uses his own body for experiments, he has a wealth of knowledge and he doesn’t put out false info just to make a quick buck. I recommend for anyone who wants the best in information to help them achieve the absolute best with their bodies.

Sure he does review a lot of crazy biohacks and equipment that I can’t afford but he gives just as much simple advice that you can easily implement instantly. All around the best information on everything health related!!
I listen to at least 10 different podcasts which I love, but Ben Greenfield has become my favorite! A couple of years ago when I first heard him on endurance planet I was not too crazy about him, I think the podcast itself was short so I didn’t get a chance to really know what he was about, but I checked his podcast out and the more I listened the more I was overwhelmed with all his knowledge, facts on everything from family life to fitness, nutrition, and supplements!! Listening to Ben every week I laugh because he is so crazy with his sense of humor and everything he tests out, I learn so much and I love it! I know drink Kion coffee and swear by that brand! I love the kion supplements as well!! Anyone who listens to his podcast knows he is strong mentally and physically but I love him showing his softer side and sharing his personal matters in his life as well. It’s a must listen to podcast!!

An absolute must listen and subscribe
Update*** Holy wow. This podcast is amazing in general but the episode with Ben’s Dad absolutely turned my life around. Listening to their love, I felt their love and the love my parents have for me as well. Truly inspiring and incredible. I love this podcast so much. This podcast. Holy crap I feel so smart after listening to this podcast. There are so many fascinating and learning facets to health and fitness to learn from this podcast. The science is a lot to take in at first but after I go back and rewind it and digest it a few times, I really understand it and am then able to turn it over to teach my clients where is necessary. I love the happy medium of living like our ancestors and using our new technologies to benefit us. Ben continues to be at the forefront of high quality research and does an amazing job of unbiased results. I trust Ben’s research and his supplements because they are legitimately science-backed. Some of your stuff is great. But you have an “expert” on this morning who is hopped up on amphetamines and nicotine and he’s supposed to talk about better health? You can do better. Also it was 15 minutes of BS before any content. I judge podcasts by their efficiency. This one was awful.

What happened
Use to love this podcast. Now hear lots name dropping. Go to my affiliate link on amazon so my wife can buy her Louis Vuitton. Recommendations are so expensive no normal person can afford. Ben is morphing into a very pretentious person liked the other Ben better.

Functional fitnesser turned endurancer
This podcast was the deciding factor for me to sign up for my first triathlon. After 6 years of functional fitnessing, I would never call myself an endurance athlete. After listening to a couple episodes, I quickly realized I was setting limits on myself, and I hadn't even explored a different realm of fitness. Ben and his guests explain how much our bodies are capable of, but it’s up to us to unlock it! I loved the variety of my previous workouts, but that didn't have to stop. I didn't have to settle for monotony. I'm thankful for the knowledge Ben has shared. I've optimized my diet, improving my health and performance. I have also forwarded episodes to my mom and dad who have made changes over the past couple of months, improving their overall health. It's the small day-to-day changes that add up to a better quality of life. For the love of all things science, health and fitness, please keep doing what you're doing. -b

Promoted the excessive use of supplements and the Keto bs to line his own pocket then like Dave Assprey rolled it back when the tide turned ...and he discovered had the liver of a 70 year old! I’m sick of people preying on people who are desperate to get well and spend their hard earned money on a bunch of crap that makes their health even worse over time.

Confused
I used to love this guy even after I heard him say he massages the inside of his butthole with a glass rod on “JRE”. Well then he influenced me to buy a $6000 trussi (a faulty product that no one will repair/replace nor do they have a decent customer service phone #). This guy is extremely bright and well researched and knows thousands buy anything he says, it doesn’t make sense that he would overlook this machine unless he was making money off of it. He’s talked about trussii for a year at least and multiple water podcasts since he’s been promoting trussii. Now it’s blowing up and it seems a rather peculiar time for BG to start bashing it.. I hope I’m wrong about the situation but my trust is shaken when it comes to his opinions about nutritional or training supplements anymore.

Ben, I am so grateful for your podcast, I have learned valuable information I didn’t even know I needed. For instance I now supplement with creatine because I heard about it on your show, later you suggested limiting to two grams per dose and still later you mentioned we should mix with a little warm coffee, all good tips. But, I am most grateful for the recommendation and discussion on the practice of writing a gratitude journal. As a life long Christian I was surprised by the deep and humbling effect this would have on my spiritual life. Thank you. Keep it up. Five star. Doug

Inspiring
In high school I used to tout my ability to eat copious amounts of junk. This podcast has caused me to make a complete U-turn. Through the knowledge brought by Ben I have been inspired to be a label reader and to eat natural. This podcast has helped me to feel better and be enthused to eat healthier. This podcast woke me back up!
I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review for anything before in my life, but this podcast has woke me back up from the dulling drone of working 6 days a week. Ben greenfield and his guests are now my most trusted confidants in the health and fitness world. It’s hard enough sifting through all the information out there everyday, not to mention how often it changes! I went to school for kinesiology for 2 years and information changed on any given subject pretty frequently which blew my mind. Ben does an amazing job of not only feeding us the newest news, trends, and research, but also maintains our knowledge on topics already discussed. Complete show notes make researching topics easy and stress free - no BS. Look guys, plain and simple - no matter if all youre doing is try to eat right and workout from time to time or if you’re doing triathlons several times a year, he still has information that will change your life.

Thanks for helping me be healthier than the day before

My Go-To Podcast
As a 28 year Fitness Veteran, former bodybuilder, marathoner, and Gym Owner, I can say I’ve pretty much heard it all. It seems like for every study that says one thing, there’s another study to the contrary. Personal Development Through Life Altering Education
After just listening to Ben’s “Life Thoughts on Transitioning” in his own pursuits, I thought it was appropriate to offer an overdue 5-Star Review as a show of gratitude... I would challenge anyone to listen to Ben for one year of podcasts to see and feel the results. I turn 46 years old today, and my health has measurably improved with data to support my claim (I wear an Oura Ring, at Ben’s suggestion for self-quantification.). I have added Lion’s Mane (Four Sigmatic), Collagen Peptides and Dr. Seed’s BPC-157 to my daily intake; I’ve corrected digestive issues with P3-OM and MassZymes. I’ve begun a subscription with Seed Pre/Pro-Biotics to maintain my gut health. Perhaps more importantly, I’ve learned to appreciate a balance between Trail Hikes, Yoga or Mediation and the otherwise typical stress I would endure through HIIT or Weight Training; and the power of breath work or community involvement. This post is likely too long to attract the attention of the recent addition, intermittent co-host, Dr. Jay (sharp and entertaining in his own right), but it hopefully convinces one new listener. After all, I’ve managed to draw in my wife and even my son - and the ability to share what I learn from Ben with family and friends is exponentially more valuable than any single personal data trend. This podcast with Ben and his guests more than satisfies my innate need to nerd out over health and fitness topics that are typically misunderstood and under-discussed by the general population. I don’t have the brain for science, yet I’m impressed how much I’m able to understand from the way Ben explains complex bodily phenomenons based on scientific findings. His explanations are also from his own plethora of experience, which is why I value his opinions on these topics and thus a regular listener. This podcast is my source for mysterious topics such as IMF, stress and sleep management, and a touch of women’s health. I’ve gained so much knowledge and resources from absorbing the information broadcasted on here (such as Thrive Market). Well Ahead of the Curve
At a time when a lot of mainstream health and fitness advice ranges from off-base to plain wrong, the Ben Greenfield Fitness podcast provides a refreshing holistic look at human wellness. The subject matter presented by Ben's guests is always thought-provoking and I've come to appreciate that he does not shy away from guests or discussions that are outside the widely accepted popular opinions. Too many great topics to list, but I can say with certainty that the knowledge I've gained from The Ben Greenfield Fitness podcast has made me a healthier person, a happier person, and a better husband. You do not have to be an elite athlete to benefit from this podcast, the information is suitable for everyone. I couldn’t even make it through one episode. I heard of him through the minimalists and enjoyed what he had to say. Then after making it 2/3 though a podcast here I couldn’t believe how much crap he was saying. As an MD please do not listen to this podcast. He really needs to stick to his fitness and what works for ‘him’. Cringe worth. Save your money also. The stuff he was recommending. OMG. #unsubscribe.

Only listen if you want to be stronger, faster, and smarter
After just a few episodes of the Ben Greenfield Podcast, I found myself going through my pantry, reworking my training protocols, and taking care of my body outside of my daily gym visit. As a casual “athlete”, I’ve always struggled to find balance between achieving the aesthetic look I want and being truly healthy. This podcast provides me a great understanding of the human body and nutrition, and I find myself less concerned about the athletics as they happen naturally. As I try to navigate the ocean of information in the health and fitness universe, Ben and his guests’ knowledge has been a fantastic grounding point. This podcast was my catalyst for a breakthrough
I’m 44 and have considered myself to be fit and healthy for my entire adult life. I ate “low fat” and worked out like crazy and I felt like I was in pretty good shape, yet I could never lose that last bit of excess fat, and I lacked energy and even focus. That all changed when I began listening to this podcast last fall. I transformed my diet and exercise protocol and have experienced a very significant breakthrough in results in so many areas. Ben is the man
This was honestly one of the first podcast I ever got into really. I can truthfully say I’ve listened to 80+ hours of this podcast. The only person I’ve logged more hours on is probably Joe rogan. Ben brings such relevant and digestible information to the table it was hard for me to resist. As a young lad (21 yrs old) who is ferociously interested in movement, wellness, alternative medicine, and martial arts, Ben has provided me with an information treasure trove to open regularly so I may further my mental and spiritual progression every time I get in my car. Not only have I utilized countless low cost effective methods for health optimization mentioned on Bens podcast (ice baths, fasting, diet tips etc) the numerous high cost biohacking items he promotes motivate me to bring more value to society so that I may earn an income that allows me to utilize things like the joov light, clear light sauna and dexcom in the near future. So to wrap this up, thank you Ben. For being a pioneer in the health field and inspiring people to never stop improving themselves, to seek out others to inspire, and remain in search of the optimal human experience. The beginning of my bio hacking life
I am so happy a coworker turned me onto this podcast. Three years ago when my first daughter was born I weighed my heaviest at 260lbs. I decided something needed to change for me to get healthier so I can live longer. I started keto and lost 70 pounds. When my wife got pregnant with our second daughter I gained most of it back. Once she was born it rejuvenated my motivation and I started over. This time keto and intermittent fasting has me down to my leanest ever 180 and I am maintaining there. Since starting this podcast I have been obsessed with bio hacking for even better longevity. Now I have to explain to my coworkers my I am shining a Joovv light on my balls in my office cubicle.

I refer to this podcast show as “The Library of Human Performance” because that is exactly what you get: a library full of incredible information, facts and resources from renowned and expert individuals in all things human health and performance. I have used this podcast and the contents included therein as a resource for my own human optimization journey and in my studies as a current Public Health major student. Thanks for the podcast! I love all the possibilities and opinions to improve or maintain good health. Can you please address your controversial opinion regarding vaccines? I love science and truth, and that is why JRE is my main podcast of choice, but you seem to be educated and not politically motivated. Please discuss and revisit your reasoning for not believing vaccines are a good thing, and their link to autism. Thanks again.

Anti vaccine resident of measles infected Washington State
Wow really wish Ben would tell the truth about big alternative medicine. Science-Based medicine.org is a good source for the other side of the story. In fact this anti vaccine nut job interviews doctors that have lost their license and profit from and add to the misinformation campaign about vaccines. Also, fast forward through the first five minutes of marketing nonsense. Then listen to the cross promotional interviews with boring people telling you about how they did something that they did that surprised them because it contradicted some misguided assumption and preconceived notion they had. With all the experimentation that is discussed it's clear Ben is willing to try anything no matter how ridiculous or dangerous it is. Most of the articles Ben uses to support his recommendations either draw the opposite conclusion or demonstrate that he doesn't read past the abstract. The intro is pretty much a lie or Ben Greenfield doesn't know the meaning of efficacy. The technology described is at a bleeding edge level, meaning your more likely to see diminished performance or injury instead of "super human" nonsense . The most telling example is on one of Greenfield's other podcast where his hard charging elite athlete cohost admits to trying everything Ben Greenfield recommended and how much of a failure it was. Ben greenfield 's final recommendation on the show was more rest. How is the cheapest most conservative and likely effective recourse the last thing he recommends? Probably because he doesn't make money off of rest. Just like doctors don't profit personally from a healthy diet and regular exercise. The constant demonizing of "conventional medicine " (you know the stuff that works) is really irritating and probably persuades many ignorant listeners to forgo effective treatment for the Woo Ben sells. Also contributed to the vaccine preventable disease outbreak in his home state of Washington.

He’s on a mission but..
I really like Bens enthusiasm,research chops and curiosity.He also walks the walk which is saying a lot. However he is always selling! For me his credibility is in a gray area.I say that because I got burned buying a couple things he recommended in the past.It’s inevitable when you push so many products over the years that there will be bad apples.I do however believe he is well intentioned and continue to listen.Now I take all that he says with a grain of salt and am careful before spending my money.

I could go broke listening to Ben Greenfield...but can’t get enough
Ben is my go-to podcast during my workouts or long commutes to work. I have “aha” moments every time I listen, and quickly find myself researching the new gadgets, tricks, and food/supplements he shares. I encourage my friends to listen to Ben to feel the same excitement as I do when talking about bio hacks. Love Ben, and find that even if the show titles may sometimes seem like they won’t apply to me, I get a huge amount of informative brain food! I geek out on bio hacks, and this is a major outlet for me since I work a very corporate, cubicle job.
