Easy to Understand & Transformational
Iâve been listening to Lindaâs podcasts since my undergrad days back in 2015. I was young (20) and needed someone who not only provided quality financial information, but gave an understandable rationale for everything they suggested. I can wholeheartedly say that Lindaâs been the same genuine and informative financial mentor with a consistent message for years. I remember listening to her podcasts during the Bitcoin frenzy and appreciating her honest explanation as to why she wasnât invested in it despite all the hype it was getting. Iâve witnessed her research this area of digital assets for years and got excited when she started mentioning alt coins that have the potential to revolutionize money. If it wasnât for Linda, I would be unaware of the technological revolution thatâs occurring. Iâm a passenger on the XRP train and I cannot wait to see where it takes me. Generational wealth, here I come! I cannot thank Linda enough for her podcast and willingness to share this information with the world. Itâs like having an educated aunt who wants to see you win and equips you with the tools to do it yourself.

Educate more Women
I have known Linda for many years. After getting to know Linda I found out that She was on a mission to educate women and Help more women become millionaires . I believe she stated at that time that the Percentage of women being millionaires Was very low . Over our friendship she has slowly guided me to Have a retirement fund . To not be afraid of money .And to slowly start investing . I was a single mother of two . No child support . Never even thought of savings, retirement or even making money for myself . Slowly I started not to be afraid of money . Slowly taking the leap to invest . Slowly it was no longer about the children but What am I going to do for my retirement . OMG I have nothing đą So the journey began to take the leap of faith And start making my money work for me And to start looking at my future finances. Linda always taught me you do what you feel is comfortable.When you do this you will feel better and confident in your business decisions. Listening to the podcasts helps me to understand things better . Do I still understand everything ? No but I am learning . That is the beauty about life . Learning and growing and yes making mistakes And the gains and losses . As I am still in the stages of learning and growing my money ⌠itâs good to know that when I have fear I can go back and listen to Lindaâs past podcast and reboot myself . The more I do the more understanding I gain . From someone who started out zero and to see and hear people who have been doing this for Such an early age in life was a little Intimidating. Do NOT get any investment advise from this person or Join her âVIPâ
I unfortunately had the bad luck of deciding to join her âVIPâ group after listening to her podcasts for a few years. I thought she would help in guiding my investments. However, because of her ill advise, I have lost 10s of thousands if not more due to her terrible recommendations. Her advise has been so crazy that she would sometimes make market predictions such as âon October 15 we will see the bottomâ or âJanuary 9 would be the top of the marketâ. And most people would tell you to stay away from those who think they can predict the market especially to this extreme. She even said in early 2020 when the interest rates were at their lowest, would be the worst time to buy a home. Also at one point, she was saying that all debt will be forgiven for everyone in the world with something called âdebt jubileeâ. And of course she called the month that she expected that to happen and it didnât. Then she moved on to something else. Her advise after advise has been terrible, from picking certain ETFs that have lost 70-80% of their value to crypos that donât make any sense. I think the only people keeping her VIP afloat are new unknowing customers duped by this podcast. Interestingly, I have done better going against what she recommends. This has been a true lesson for me and hope this helps someone that is considering either listening to her advise or getting a membership.

Why I follow Linda P. Jones
I stumbled onto Linda P. Jones podcast a few years ago when seeking some investment education. She is so smart and presents information in a manner that is easily understood and digestible. Her biggest impact on me has been her podcasts and newer book on cryptocurrencies. I honestly did not understand anything about cryptocurrency until I listened to Lindaâs numerous podcasts and read her book. I invested in four of the eight cryptocurrencies she mentioned in her book and I look forward to listening to her weekly podcasts. I consider her my wealth mentor even though we have never met. This is why you should listenâŚ
Unlike most personal finance and wealth podcasters, TV and radio show hosts I have listened to over the years, Linda's is one of the very few podcasts that comes to the topic in a refreshing and unique way, that of a mentor who takes what she has learned and successfully applied over the years in finance and investing to help others do the same. Specifically, who in the media of any kind besides her talks in real and specific terms about wealth building for the everyday person? Not hypothetical generalities but actual factual data with historical perspective? I can't think of very many people who have her breadth and depth of knowledge that are sharing that with others for FREE. Not only that, but how many talk about the importance of mindset as a key part in building wealth? I appreciate the positivity and encouraging tone she takes with all of the subjects that she covers and it's nice that I don't have to wade through endless technical industry terminology too. If you've ever been uncertain what to do with your investments or how to get started, I think you'll enjoy listening to and learning from Linda (and be sure to include her beginning episodes too - lots of gold nuggets to be found there that are STILL relevant to this day). I've definitely grown in my knowledge and and finally feel confidant with every investment I make. As for the 1-star review, if you look up the etymology for the term you dislike so much you'll find it's origins and earliest usage are quite applicable for today. Please don't allow one word mentioned a few times in the course of over 8 years worth of content be the reason that keeps you from being wealthy and smart đ.

Iâm glad other people are getting good advice thatâs helping improve their financial standing. I feel like Jones mostly just reads articles from other sources. The few investments I made based on her recommendation are the only big losers in my portfolio. Perhaps I just favor a more traditional approach: Buy index funds. Never touch them again. But thereâs not much here for me.

A nice balance of reliable and progressive wealth advice
I have continued to listen to Lindaâs podcast for two years because she gives solid advice on a variety of wealth strategies including stocks, ETFs and compounding, but also on lesser spoken about topics like real estate, precious metals and crypto. She explains complex topics like crypto and other futuristic technologies with both cautiousness and hopefulness. She manages to include these topics in various episodes, but her advice doesnât feel unfocused, or random. Additionally, she gets right to the point and her episodes provide concise information in around 10-15 mins, which makes her podcast perfect for my commute.

Little nuggets of gold!
I really like this podcast for the timely advice and information it provides. I call it my little nuggets of GOLD!đ I consider myself an experienced investor and still find a lot of value in this podcast. Anytime I get in the car I tune into this and catch up. Itâs really nice to start one and finish one pretty much at the same time. Itâs brief and to the point and timely!!! Iâve also gone back to listen to older episodes as I find a lot of value. Plus itâs nice to see what had happened say two or three years ago as we now have the benefit of looking back in hindsight. Linda is calm and very professional. I would credit her with getting me interested in crypto. I have since then started listening to other YouTube channels on crypto to learn more. Thank you Linda. Please keep up the great work. Easy to understand & implement

Morning motivation
I love this podcast. I always look forward to my Mondays and Wednesdays drive to work so I can listen to a new release from Linda. I started listening to Linda around 4 years ago. I wanted to update my review. Her teaching has given me the mindset to go after life. I went from not trusting investing to buying stocks, from 0 to a six figure account and eventually trading options. All in 4 years. IBD, which she had suggested back then was also a game changer. I found Lindaâs podcast last year, during the pandemic while searching for answers in the time of uncertainty. The episodes are short and straight to the point, very convenient while driving kids to school or walking the dog. She covers a variety of topics from investing to real estate to self improvement. The podcast is an inspiration of how to make sense out of everyday choice in the fast changing environment we live as we are still in the midst of pandemic. Linda is very knowledgeable and confident. I also listened to her book on audible, which was probably where I should have started. My advice: read the book first and listen to every podcast, the small investments in your success in future!

If there was one thing I would love for her to do more, is mention the app/apps that we should use to invest in these crypto currencies. Many of them are hard to find. She presents pertinent articles and says her concise comments and opinions about it. The best part is, even if you are not so experienced with the world of finance, you would still understand the topic because Linda makes it easy for us to understand!. You can also hear it in her voice how much she loves and is passionate about her craft. I listen to the podcast while driving to work every time a new episode is uploaded. I Think Differently on The Daily!
I used to follow other wealth building podcasters before I heard about Be Wealthy and Smart. During that time I found myself following advice to stop using credit cards altogether, to make a strict budget and stick to it, and to pay off the smallest debts first, and only use cash. In turn, I ended up spending more money instead of less in interest, feeling constrained by a budget that wasnât flexible enough, and missing out on member rewards that would have been helpful. When I started implementing Ms. Jonesâ advice I found that I resonated with her money priorities mindset. I no longer have a fear of credit cards. My spending now reflects my priorities. I am attacking my debts with the highest interest first and reaping the benefits. Most importantly I am more confident with my finances. The episodes are a great length for a short commute and I always look forward to them!

I enjoy these short podcasts by Linda P. Jones. We listen to them in the car as they serve as great conversation starters and often prompt us to take action as we consider how the information relates to our financial situation. The podcasts present different sources of information from the investing world as well as Lindaâs perspective. The 10-15 minute format is also a great way to start a good walk. I look forward to listening to them 3 times each week.

Until I listened to several episodes of this amazecast. I am less intimidated by taxes, investments and all things âfinanceâ â in other wordsâall the stuff I should know by now. Iâm behind schedule, still have grad school loans & little retirement. Some topics are advanced but are explained in plain language. Linda P. Jones is one of my favorite podcasters over all genres, but she is my absolute #1 on the subject of wealth. She is passionate about the subject of building wealth, and she presents it differently than anyone I have heard (or read). For one thing, she has nailed the balance between optimism and realistic advice. She isnât selling us a one-size-fits-all solution, so her viewpoint is way more strategic. She empowers her listeners with the tools we need to evaluate the choices and options each of us have, no matter what our circumstances or backgrounds. For me, it just clicked like nothing before - and I have been interested in wealth building for a long time! Still working my way through her generous back catalog. One more thing: Linda P. Jones is like that classy, smart, yet totally unpretentious auntie we all never had. Her authentic personality is totally palpable every moment, so listening feels like a phone call with your own wealth mentor!

Amazed
I am truly humbled by all that I have learned while driving to work every morning. Linda is able to synthesize succinct information for a non-financial person. Having a doctorate in a scientific field means very little when it comes to understanding the complexity of finance. I am only frustrated at times when I could not stop the car to jot down notes on what Linda shares in her podcasts. Kudos to her willingness to share her wisdom with America!

when you downplayed Covid19 credibility bruised
I started listening recently and was really enjoying your podcasts until I heard you give advice on Covid19 and downplayed a serious pandemic. Your comment was dangerous because thousands listen to you and it colored your podcast with party affiliation that was doing the same. You have since changed your opinion of the seriousness of Covid19 (how it is not just a flu), as Italy is shut down and the disease is compounding worldwide. So please stick to your expertise as that is where your beautiful credibility is intact. I gave you 5 star earlier and on other sites, but certainly not that podcasts. Everyone makes mistakes so I am still a new listener. Thank you Linda. (Bought your book too).

This is my favorite podcast for multiple reasons. The first is that itâs easy to follow and useful for those that are financially wise and likewise. I love that the podcasts are short and easy to gain value in just 10-20 minutes; this makes it extremely convenient! I also feel like it has changed my outlook on some things for the better and offers investment encouragement at any age or tax bracket

Please don't spread false COVID-19 information
I listen regularly and love the podcast. However, please stick to financial information. On a recent episode you incorrectly state that the "mortality rate (of COVID-19) is not as high as the normal flu". I don't want to be an alarmist but I do think it is critical to have accurate information being circulated. Pulled directly from the World Health Organization (WHO), "Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected." Of course, this number is going to vary as things progrees. Yes, in the U.S. few people have been infected but that could also change. The importance of accurate information from reliable sources (not cable news!) is critical. That is all I ask.

I have really enjoyed listening to BWAS! I just found it a few months ago. I am a financial counselor professionally, but my focus with clients is usually helping with basic personal finance. Just what I needed
Heard about this pod from my girls on My Favorite Murder as Georgia is a big fan. She described Linda as woman who serves as a wealth mentor in a way that made her feel at ease and confident. The pods are brief and to the point and I really appreciate the softness Linda brings where others can be abrasive or aggressive which just scares me away. I sift through the topics for what works for me and let the rest go. If need be, I can always go back. Currently reading her book âYouâre Already A Wealth Heiress, Now Think and Act Like Oneâ and journaling with an action plan. Low and behold I feel like a wealth heiress already! Yay!

Finding Hope Again

Great financial podcast
I heard about the podcast through My Favorite Murder and have been listening religiously ever since. Really useful information on things I hadnât considered before (I.e. not paying down my mortgage aggressively and investing instead, having cash on hand Incase banking systems go down and making sure you have small bills so you donât need change, etc). Highly recommend.

I have spent pass two months listening to hundreds of different financial podcasts overt 5 hours a day LINDA P JONES is different and genuine. She is easy to understand and does not talk AT me, try to upsell or have ads throughout each podcast. She truly cares and wants to educate. Iâm trying to learn how to manage my own increased finances. Finally found a (viritual) friend I can trust and understand. I listen to each dayâs new cast as well as go back to her first episodes and listen forward. Hi Linda - Iâve been listening for a long time, probably since before you reached 100 episodes. Donât worry, I went back and listened to the earlier ones too. The person you mentioned that gave you a bad review?? Talk about mindset and scarcity!! Was easy to peak into whatâs going on in his head. I know a little about the subject matter myself and I continue to listen because there are ALWAYS things to learn if you have an OPEN MIND. And, I have learned a lot from you! Hopefully, this individual can get on the right path b/c that mindset will get you nowhere fast. Please allow me to mention another factor that this person would never think of. How about inflation?? Every other expense in your life will increase over time, right. Food, entertainment, travel, you name it. Not your fixed rate mortgage at a historically low rate. Letâs say inflation is 2%. You factor that 2% in, plus a deduction, plus all of the flexibility with your money. Why would you leave a bunch of extra cash collecting dust for the long-term. Good luck taking money out of your house down the road to pay for an unforeseen expense or college or whatever life may bring. Iâm 47 and have been compounding at a very high rate since my early twenties. I guess Iâm a little protective of you Linda!! Keep up the great work...Iâll be listening!! Best regards, Derek

What kind of advisor doesnât believe in budgets
Canât get on board with an advisor who thinks student loans are ok, and that itâs better to keep mortgage interest for the tax write off when the tax write off money youâd get is significantly less than the money youâd save not paying interest.

This is by far the best financial podcast - especially if you are not a financial advisor yourself. I love that each episode is short, yet packed full of actionalble information. I have learned more about investing and the stock market from this podcast than any other resource I've encountered (except, of course, Linda's book, You Are a Wealth Heiress - which I also recommend!). I have been binge listening to Lindaâs podcasts for the past few months. I have always been careful with my finances, but she has empowered me to think outside of the modest financial box I had put myself into. I love being able to search her over 600 episodes to find specific topics that are important to me. I also love the âencoreâ podcasts - those stand out as âmust-listenâ episodes. Iâve been jumping around and have listened to about 300 of her podcasts, but Iâm going to start at the very beginning to make sure I donât miss a thing. I stumbled upon this podcast while looking for a mindset meditation. After listening, I ended up binge listening to 600 episodes over the next couple of months. It's been the kick I needed to renew my will, review my 401K and spending habits, overhaul household finances and much more. More that that, it has been the tap on my shoulder that I badly needed. When I first started listening, I considered a "side hustle," but only looked at things I could do physically, like tutoring in early morning hours. With 4 kids, I don't have many hours left in the day. However, when Linda said to look at what you love to talk about and what people come to you for advice for, two ideas popped into my head. After flushing out the first, I'm in pursuit of the second. Two months ago, not only would I not have considered this idea, I wouldn't have had the confidence to pursue it.

Grateful
I am grateful for Linda and this podcast. I recently went back to work after staying home with my son (who is currently 3.5). I cashed in my retirement to help fund my decision to be a SAHM. At 38, I am starting over with retirement savings and I felt completely overwhelmed by this endeavor. My sister recommended Lindaâs book and podcast. Tell Your Friends
I started listening to Be Wealthy and Smart in May 2019. I appreciate hearing Linda read published articles about finance and investing, breaking down the content, then offering her take. Each episode runs less than 20 minutes and focuses on a single topic helping prevent listener boredom if finance just isnât your thing. This podcast gave me the courage to open my own brokerage account and start investing even though I had only $200 to start. Iâve since received a small inheritance which I have invested doing the research I learned through the podcast. Fingers crossed Iâll be able to compound my investments and ultimately have additional funds to supplement my retirement income in 12 or 16 years.

Easily Digestible, Great Advice and Insight
I've been telling everyone about "my" wealth mentor, Linda P Jones (and always mention that technically she's America's wealth mentor). Linda doesn't just tell you what to do, but she helps you understand basic concepts and encourages you to do your own research so you can be confident in your own decisions. Each episode is easily digestible, and she offers you a lot of great insight. She doesn't just tell you to invest in specific stocks, she gives her insight and encourages listeners to learn more and make educated choices for themselves. She has her own recommendations, but what seems important to her is that listeners are able to keep learning and researching on their own. Linda often walks you through other people's articles and insights and gives you different perspectives to consider, even if she doesn't agree- she explains why. Be Wealthy and Smart is a great learning opportunity for all listeners who want better control over their wealth and future.

Better late than never!
I stumbled across this podcast thanks to the ladies from My Favorite Murder. I honestly felt floored when I learned about how to resolve my debt. No one tells you these things! Linda is so wonderful in how she explains things and more importantly explains the logic behind it and why these financial tips work. I started on her Diamond Debt elimination process and in two months my credit score shot up 19 points! I was honestly in shock. She gives great advice but more importantly, she provides motivation. I now know that I will get a handle on my debt and eliminate it thanks to her invaluable advice.

Killer investment tips
I wasnât really taught about investing when I was growing up, and although I donât feel like Iâm at the point to start investing (student debt) this podcast is teaching me so much and making me feel more comfortable with the idea. My go to financial podcast
This podcast has been my go to financial podcast from all the other finance podcasts out there. I have downloaded all her episodes and recently caught up to the latest episode, highly recommend. Linda is very informative and to the point. I love that she doesnât use all the confusing jargon. I am so excited to have started reading TAAWH (should make that a #) and although itâs easy to say that you found me, I certainly am ready in my life to start managing debt and start compounding wealth. I have a small lawsuit settlement that is coming my way and had I not started reading your book, I just would have used it to pay off credit cards. Guess I was "triggered"
I started subscribing to Wealthy and Smart on the recommendation of Georgia Hardstark on My Favorite Murder. Some of the content was good but a lot of it is Linda reading other people's articles on various current financial topics. I also was annoyed by Linda's cavalier attitude about mortgage debt on the podcast, which she condescendingly referred to people who disagreed with her as "triggered" and gave arguments like "5% isn't a high interest rate" and "if you itemize, the interest is tax deductible". So go pay $9000 interest a year to save the taxes on it? Ummmm.... I'm going to go be wealthy and debt-free, even if I'm being stupid. Not having a mortgage payment is the best.
