This doctor has a practice in a wealthy area of Ventura county- she doesn’t work with people in the city where many people of various financial situations interact. She is apprehensive about child covid vaccines and child mask wearing so antivax parents love her. She’s dangerous.

Dr Jessica is a balanced and thoughtful Dr
This podcast is like Dr Jessica herself. Thoughtful and thorough. I appreciate her candid style and willingness to embrace what we don’t know and talk about sensitive topics in a way that neither offends nor sidesteps the tricky nature of them.

Picky Eaters
I’m a first time grandfather and have a picky eater grandson. Dr. Jessica and her guest have very practical things you can do to move the needle. The big one is don’t make meals a pressure cooker event. Try and make it more fun. Introduce very small amounts of different foods mixed into there things. Add to much they will spot it. Remember you are now living with a tiny detective.

making me a better parent
As a physician and dad of 3, this podcast is real and informative. I recently listened to the show on substance abuse, which transformed how I will approach drugs and alcohol with my adolescents. Another recent episode on anxiety has been so helpful as we re-emerge from the pandemic. I listened to these as they come out weekly. This is truly a great resource for learning about parenting in our new and Complex world.
