Great Show
Love the hosts, the topics the cover, and the thought provoking multi-faceted conversation/arguments they have. Gets a little old hearing Friedberg get into his mindless left-wing rants.

Lost the plot
I used to love listening to this podcast, but lately it has become an irritating experience as everyone shouts and and talks over one another (*cough* *cough* *Sacks*). I expected this from Sacks and JC, but even Chamath and Friedberg have been getting in on it. There is great irony in the fact that this group loves to hammer the trope of “the elites” and their “priors”. Just listen to them constantly complaining about the press (their collective enemy #1) while giving people like themselves a pass. It’s sad, a little bit delusional, and although I like the format and topic, I won’t be listening anymore.

JCal’s best moments
On how individuals need to do their own research and utilize critical thinking skills to form their truth from both institutional and independent media resources. I grew up with NYT but stopped reading it 6-7 years ago for the exact reason JCal explained. Kudos to him for not sugar coating the activism based subscription business model.

love listening to this pod when they’re talking tech/markets. whenever they get into politics, all nuance or critical thinking goes out the window. this is especially true with sacks who has become a pusher for talking points straight from the RNC i’d watch hannity if i wanted to be fed republican gruel. please spend more time talking about what you know

All-In > TWIST
How is it possible that people like Jason and Molly Wood can hold the same title of VC as the rest of the All-In podcast cast? It is funny that Jason doesn’t keep a clean line of logic and can’t realize it. Love the podcast, keep up the great work Chamath, David and David. Also, please keep Jason around - he helps remind the rest of us the value the other 3 of you bring by doing this podcast

Some good some bad
When the guys are talking about business and tech, the podcast is quite interesting. When they venture into politics and international affairs (which they have been doing too often lately), they show their ignorance. In particular, I am disgusted with David Sacks being OK with Ukraine becoming a colony of Russia.

Interesting tech perspectives but many of the skewed political and social commentary from Sacks are hard to swallow. In the end, it starts to sounds like viewpoints from a bunch of out of touch privileged tech billionaires.

Probably great, if you’re a Fox News watcher
Listened to a couple episodes. They like getting into politics, and sound like mouthpieces from fox where all that’s wrong with the country is because of the left. Their show so whatever, but enough other tech/business podcasts to listen to rather than waste my time listening to one sided, unsupported, irrational political rants.

Stop with the politics
Do you think your audience wants to hear about politics constantly! No I get 50 emails a day from candidates, I get text messages, phone calls and commercials from politicians.. don’t want to hear you bicker about politics during my podcast as well. I care about the tech, VC, business world… not what some general said- Fox News. Done with you guys.

Who is the joker that keeps bombing Chamath’s answer
I generally like this program, but there’s someone who is constantly bringing the quality of the show down. Is that Jason? Who was the person who kept interrupting Chamath by saying 50-50 and didn’t let him finish his answer to the gut biome question?

I like the value-add tech analysis
First and foremost the episodes are always entertaining which is the most important thing. While I find the Sacks political commentary smart and interesting to listen to, I like when extra time is spent on tech specifically as was the case this last episode. This is where all the speakers have true expertise and valuable insights are given for people outside of the sector who don’t have the depth in knowledge. Would love if the discussion went even further to address which areas you guys think are the best opportunities at the moment, especially in the public markets as so many growth tech stocks have been destroyed — there must be some good buying opportunities out there

Listened to every episode so far BUT ….
Overall sometimes decent discussion of current events, quality is hit and miss; some insightful opinions on business and economy topics however podcasts in which they have been trying to unpack the current Ukrainian crisis have been horrendous. Especially “geopolitical expert” Sacks’ summary of recent Ukrainian political developments is particularly inaccurate. These guys lose me with “truth should be decided by the marketplace” via social media is one of the dumbest remarks ive heard in this century. Ouch. Most folks have no critical thinking skills and even less time to research. Not everyone is a rich entrepreneur with grad school skills - these dudes analyze much of their show through a very privileged lens that can get annoying.

Less Sacks, more Friedberg
I like hearing from Chamath, Friedberg, and Jason. It’s nice to hear takes that are more centrists and science based. Sacks just sounds like far right Republican talking points, like he watches too much Fox News. Love the science Friedberg shares and his less political bent on each topic. He’s my favorite of the group.

Just can’t take David S turning every comment into a political rant
I’m a life long republican and conservative, but I avoid people like him on the left and the right like the plague. Also, his type of commentary is NOT effective with independents. His one sided approach has no credibility with them. He resonates with the people in his bubble. That’s it. So, what’s the point? Waste of time on what should be my favorite pod. More Chamath and David F please. If Sacks can’t stay on point… find someone who can.

More Friedburg!! More tech! More science! More markets! But my lord we need less CNN (JCal) vs Fox News (Sacks)… you guys may not realize it but you have literally nothing new to add to the political discourse. Just recycling the talking points from all the DC think tanks that confirm your priors.

Going downhill quickly along with the market
It was a seismic shift since March 2022 along with the market downturn. The 4 panelists stopped entertaining market commentaries (Which I thought had the most value add), and started hiding in their shells with political rant and dry humor. Would not be surprised if they stop after another 20 episodes.

Great on tech, but right wing loony on politics
This show is great when talking about tech but their politics is CRAZY’ville. Some of their views: * Biden secretly plotted so Russia would invade Ukraine. * The US should not assist Ukraine - as this would hurt energy prices. * Democrats are ‘thought police’ and listeners should support DeSantis (who likes burning books, ironically) * The USA should not trade with China and instead try to keep the country poor. * Tech innovation will solve climate change - so the gov should ignore this issue. …. These guys are sad - showing new age Silicon Valley libertarianism - and only supporting policies that assist their portfolio companies. Ugh 🤢

Solid business insights but too much from Sacks
Most podcasts are great but occasionally Sacks dominates conversations in a really obnoxious way, almost to the point where I need to skip the episode and try again the next week. As an example on the podcast from September 9th the topic was how energy challenges in Europe may impact that economy going forward, but veered into counter factual advice for the state department.

This is a great podcast, it’s obvious all the hosts have great insights and track record into VC, startups, business and science. Marxist conditioning
The folks on this pod are brilliant. But, what this show reveals so quickly is how Marxist conditioning overcomes raw intellect. When 3/4 of this program refuses to acknowledge objective and irrefutable facts it portends why the West is in the 11th hour.

Loved these guys, tough to see the quality decline
They’ve gotten a little too cocky& comfortable. They also assert tons of warrantless opinions. Don’t get me wrong, I love opinions too but if you’re just doing a snippet on opinion x, then you just at least try to justify it AND there should be push back from the other hosts. Y’all are nerds which is great, but don’t go for this “bro” vibe. People listen to your pod for refined opinions based upon the facts, so at least make an attempt to justify your conclusions with some reasoning. The Coachella=burning man things is a perfect example. This is such a shallow topic, which can be entertaining but that depends on the banter you have has hosts. Instead, maybe one sentence tried to push back and say it’s different cos you gotta live in rough conditions etc, but then somehow no real back and forth takes place, and we arrive at this Coachella=burning man conclusion. I’ve never been to burning man, but it’s certainly not Coachella. But even so, I care more about hearing your thoughts. Is it commercialization, increase in size, just the drugs that makes them the same? Use facts, make the audience aware of your standards. Do the work to help your audience think better. And to say an NFT is art would have been to say that canvas fabric was art in the 14th century. Since you all are so confident nothing changes, just look at the evolution of technology. Every time a new technology is created, before widespread adoption there are two types of people: (1) those who learn/innovate the tech and consequently benefit greatly and (2) the pessimists who complain until one day, they too have an I phone, Apple Watch, I pad etc etc

Blind spots
These besties entertain for sure. And so much experience on tech space investing. But they ignore the plight of bottom half of nation and effects of policy changes since 1980 that has seen $50T go from bottom 90% to top 1%. When they talk inflation, never do they mention the rise of monopoly power, ie. Increasing price because they can. They are too far removed from working people. A new app they invest in won’t solve pollution or cancer or economic uncertainty. Maybe they ought to listen to @PitchforkEconomics and Nick Hanauer. PS. If workers continued to capture productivity gains like they did from 1940s-1960s (and we hadn’t changed labor, tax, trade and monopoly policies), the median household income would be about 90k.

Good when they stick to topics they know well
I have been listening for around 6 months. I have learned a lot from the show and find the in-depth discussions about venture capital, company valuations, startup ecosystem and overall economy to be very good. The show becomes intolerable when they discuss their very biased and generally very misinformed political and broader societal views (the pro Trump and pro Republican dominant tone, topics such as Twitter takeover, excessive fawning of Elon Musk, Ukraine war, etc).

Great on Tech and VC. Odd take on Public Policy
These guys are great in analyzing the fundamentals of the VC, seed investing, and investing landscape. However, their conclusions on the objectives of public policy are out of their lane. Public policy is a series of trade-offs whereby you will inevitably tick off someone. Their stance on how to go about building more housing in California was perplexing. “Let’s preserve the character of our neighborhood and people in the community have the right to guide the direction; however, that doesn’t extend to the established cities.” NIMBYism in the smaller cities but not in the bigger cities because we like our backyard. Hey it’s the politicians and zoning, yet the residents of those neighborhoods are the ones advocating those policies and guiding the policy. “Zoning is bad… but not our neighborhood.”

A Free Graduate Course in Economics
This is a free graduate course in the Economics of life. The whole world evolves around money whether you want it too or not, and these individuals delve into the various aspects of how our lives are so interconnected (political, science, military, business) that decisions in one field of study can now effect everyone else at some point (the butterfly effect). Bring pen and paper and when you hear terms, ideas, and concepts you do not understand (you will) write them down and Wikipedia them later. Think of it as an test of your intellectual well being. Can you keep up with Billionaires? Or, do you need some more education? Think of this podcast akin to a physical workout but for the brain. You will leave each podcast a better informed person than when you arrived. I cannot stress this podcast enough to those who are interested in economics and current events. Excellent production quality to boot!

10 Stars — The Gold Standard
Simply one of the best podcasts in the world today. These four ridiculously brilliant and successful friends are pure magic together -- because they treat us, their audience, as adults, and let us into their world for surprisingly unguarded, unscripted conversations where they aren’t afraid to speak their minds, disagree and debate. I started listening halfway through and have gone back and listened or watched every one. It’s that good. The middle ground
Great show and brought by the perspectives of smart, individual thinkers left right and middle. Sometimes they disagree but do so without being disagreeable. America should take a lesson from this because it’s the only way we succeed. Everyone saying Sacks is too right or Jcal is too left are guilty of only wanting to hear your own perspective repeated back to you from different sources. Hear everyone out and then choose. Other than David Sacks being a fascist sympathizer and Trump/Desantis lackey who really has little to no clue what he’s talking about, while Chamath quietly nods his head in agreement to literal fascist talking points (after losing his followers millions of dollars in his scam SPACs) it’s a pretty decent show if you want the point of view of Silicon valley types. Not one to leave reviews
After seeing some of the other reviews I felt inclined to leave a rating to balance things out. To say all the hosts are right wing is laughable. They all sport different views and constantly engage in discourse to defend their position. It’s how we should all be with respect to professionally sharing our opinion without fear of someone calling for their careers to be ended over their viewpoints. Yeah they are all rich and billionaires and are naturally going to sell their book with respect to issues, you would too if you were in their position. I lost a ton of respect for Chamanth with his mandatory vaccine position during COVID. I am catching up on episodes, so I am not sure if he’s changed his perspective and admitted the fault in his thinking, but he generally has well thought out takes.

In the early days of this pod they all seemed to speak freely and it was SO good. Best podcast despite J Cal
I have followed Chamath for a while and so glad it took me to this podcast which is the one podcast I look forward to releasing each week. I appreciate the insightful, engaging, and diverse perspectives across current events each week with interesting data sets I do not find anywhere else. The only drawback is J Cal as the host but not realizing he is the host. It is so painful to hear him continually interrupt the 3 people that everyone tunes in to hear each week with attempts to remind everyone that he is a successful investor or pounce at any attempt to name drop. It is like watching the final group in a PGA event where the caddy wants to hit a ball on each hole because he played in high school. I can’t believe he asked for more ownership etc. Without Chamath, David and David, nobody tunes in…. and in my opinion, the success of the All In is in spite of J Cal not knowing his role and having 0 humility. Appreciate this pod each week and the really amazing minds across Chamath, David and David!

Working class billionaires
Great podcast if you want to listen to billionaires talk about “the global elite” alienating the working class whilst pushing hyper conservative viewpoints that just so happen to serve their interests (gasp) and David Sacks chiming in regularly with pseudoscience and Fox News-sourced facts on immigration and the pandemic. Hard pass from me.

Been a loyal listener for more than a year. It was at one point my favorite podcast combining tech, business and entertainment from people who are actually successful and I admire. But it was at times (more and more) insufferable when egos took over and the pod became just he said/he said….

Stop bickering it’s dull
I loved your show - it was way better before you had so many junior high school hurt feelings. Please get back to sharing information and fun takes and stop fighting it’s boring! Thank you and it was a 5 star review before the last two pods which were kind of repetitive and the bickering was stupid.

Should just be JCal and Chamath
They all get on JCal's case, but he's the only one that seems to have any emotional intelligence -- none of the rest of them could carry the show without him. Actually no Chamath can be cool sometimes. JCal and Chamath are the only ones who actually seem like friends and have chemistry. The show should just be them. The two Davids seem angry and miserable and have this bitter aggressive energy that throws things off. Friedberg's said something interesting a few times though. Sacks never once has said anything interesting. Still, the subject matter is good and JCal and Chamath save it and it's a good show.

Interesting pod. Have been listening for a while. But last episode a bunch of dirty laundry was aired publicly. Message to the Besties: No one cares. Either show up and do the pod professionally (like you usually do!) or stop doing the pod. You guys are not celebrities and it is very boring to listen to your internal disputes. Hope you guys keep going. Have fun with it. Remember, It’s just a podcast guys. If you can’t show up happy to do it, then just stop doing it

about what’ll happen to the car market
Ariel Pakes gives this example in his class. We observe in the data that after the oil price shocks of the early 1970s, the average fuel efficiency of new cars got worse. How does this make sense? Who drops out of the car market? Poorer people, who now have less money to spend on cars because gas is expensive, and who also tend to buy small, fuel-efficient cars. That leaves only richer people, who tend to buy larger, less fuel-efficient cars. BLP had the flexibility to explain this well, but it could not explain the improvements in fuel efficiency that occurred a few years later.

The Best
The All-In is simply the best podcast out there, hands down, the best. End of story, case closed, no objections allowed - simply the best. David Sacks is my favorite and I’m always looking forward to hear what he has to say on anything being discussed. His points of view have helped me better understand a number of issues that I thought were “settled.” Chamath does sound like a “dictator” at times, and love that. His depth of knowledge is impressive. I especially like when he says “stop.” The Queen of Quinoa’s ability to break down complex science into easy to understand insights is greatly appreciated. We all need to understand and appreciate how science, innovation and technology make our planet a better place to live and coexist. And finally, the moderator, the comedian, the hype man does a great job and is very entertaining. One small request, please let David Sacks speak a little longer without interrupting him. Love you all!

The Best podcast out there
I’m listening for about a year now, and it quickly became my addiction to listen each Saturday morning. These guys don’t afraid to tell the truth. All four are excellent. My personal favorites are two Davids. Sachs breakdown of the war in Ukraine; view on cancel culture are outstanding. Friedberg is such a smart guy, and doesn’t afraid to go against the group in some discussions. I wish I listened to Chamath, back in last November. He was repeatedly warning that if Elon and Jeff Bezos are selling, we are probably at the top. Jason is a great moderator. At the beginning he was annoying, when he was often talking over other guys. But with time, I recognized he is the one who puts the show together. Outstanding content!! Please keep it up!!

This podcast is an entertaining means of keeping up with the world without enduring shallow narratives and political agendas. Excellent debate on Ukraine
I’ve been listening to the All In podcast since the Ukraine war started and was surprised to learn so much more about other topics such as energy and VC trends. The hosts are very well informed and it’s interesting that they don’t always agree with each other yet hold a respectable discussion. I hear today’s episode on the Ukraine debate and commend the All In Podcast Team for opening up the discussion, an intelligent discussion, not only on questioning actions taken but in asking what realistic outcomes the US should be aiming for its end-game instead of sensationalizing the issue.

Ehhh no.
This is not a good podcast. The guest barely has any time to speak because the hosts keeping speaking over them. Also, where are the women in finance? This doesn’t show case the diverse voices and POV’s in this space. The hosts need media training or basic 101’s on how to run an interview. People want to listen to diverse opinions not just the same type of person echoing each other over and over again. Even when they discuss important issues they don’t bring women into the conversation - disappointing.

Am I Gender Non-Conforming because I Love this Podcast?
Of course, women can do a man's job, but can they listen to an ALL-MAN podcast? Why would someone create a podcast and not include even one woman? I don't know, but if those questions keep you up at night, this show is NOT for you. The market is crashing, my portfolio is scary, and I need answers. And this podcast provides a lot of excellent answers, but what's most helpful is that the guys offer a useful perspective. I have to admit I'm not a fan of the deep dive, and sometimes the panel seems lost in the trees and will wander to places few can follow (or maybe it's just me?) I prefer it when they stand back and explain the forest because they offer various views, and I always walk away with a better understanding of things I thought were impossible to comprehend. I’m glad I found this show, and I wish I was in Florida right now for the conference! Cheers!

The host literally said the 2008 recession were just restricted to a few institutions: the mortgage market, credit institution, etc. lol anyone who learns financial crisis 101 knows how systematic and contagious the 2008 credit crisis was, and it just felt so unprofessional and uneducated to me that the host was making these claims about how trivial and restricted the 2008 crisis was.

Historical ignorance
So now the Supreme Court is political (because the hosts don’t agree with a possible decision), whereas somehow it wasn’t in 1973? And it’s only been now that the political leanings of Justices are problematic? The historical ignorance of not acknowledging that the Supreme Court has overturned significant cases before (Dred Scott, Plessy v Ferguson, etc.) because they were incorrectly decided seems to show that the hosts are immersed in the moment and can bring no perspective to the issue of abortion. Very disappointing.

Episode 79
Episode 79 was brutal and extremely biased. It would have been helpful to have a conservative law expert on instead of two leftists. Also, it’s a real galaxy brain take to insinuate Justice Thomas, who is in an interracial marriage, would vote to outlaw interracial marriage. It’s pretty telling that the experts immediately jumped to extreme “what ifs” instead of actually defending their position on Roe.

Overall sometimes decent discussion of current events, quality is hit and miss; some insightful opinions on business and economy topics however the last two podcasts in which they have been trying to unpack the current Ukrainian crisis have been horrendous. Especially “geopolitical expert” Sacks’ summary of recent Ukrainian political developments is particularly biased and deeply inaccurate. These guys lose me with “truth should be decided by the marketplace” via social media is one of the dumbest remarks ive heard in this century. Ouch. What a Panel is supposed to Be- a Must Listen!
Panel discussions have become one of two things: an echo chamber or a boxing ring. All-In manages to somehow find four smart, knowledgeable, bold, and well-spoken unique people with different perspectives and priorities who actually like each other even when they disagree. It’s the one podcast I wait to drop on a weekly basis and have made listening weekly a habit. There’s so much to take in that I almost always listen twice and every single week get to learn and laugh and think with my four Saturday “besties”. The best podcast right now if you’re into tech/politics
A great podcast is a combination of: - Great production quality, - Open minded discussion from multiple angles, - Fresh relevant topics every week, - Experienced hosts who know what they’re talking about. All-In is definitely a great podcast going by these metrics, I can only compare it to the early days of Radiolab in terms of the quality and how much I’m looking forward to the next episode. Bonus points for being open minded about feedback and always acknowledging the pod could be even better.

Intelligent far-reaching conversation
Intelligent far-reaching conversation by a bunch of smart people and one wise person. The conversations take a predictable pattern of dynamic give and take followed by a wise summary or course correction by Sacks. Love that the participants are forced to define their jargon. Sometimes you get a lot of great info and different opinions. Friedberg’s short few minutes is often the highlight. Sacks can get old really fast with his far right rants. A window into the elite mind
I’ve been listening since day one with an open mind. I will say it’s worth a listen if only to hear how the one percent see the world (spoiler alert: they’re convinced it’s their world and you are a commodity). So of course these guys are all very bright, highly accomplished and filthy rich. Impressive degrees. Major connections. They don’t fly commercial unless it’s on Emirates. As such, they take a 50,000 foot view of current affairs, which can be useful. The problem is that they have huge blind spots in their thinking that ultimately blunt the relevance of the discourse. A few examples: Chamath appears to be “all-in” on Modern Monetary Theory and has no trouble continuing to endorse the policies that are destroying the American middle class and crippling our long term economic prospects. I have a feeling that Feudalism would probably be okay with him as long as the welfare state survived so he could outsource his guilt and maintain his lifestyle. Sacks espouses some conservative viewpoints, but they are largely of the “Country Club Republican” variety. He has no clue how it is on the ground in traditional conservative America (and he doesn’t really care). All of these dudes have gone along with the establishment political narrative (Orange Man Bad) and now that Russia’s at war with Ukraine and things are looking grim for their portfolios , they have the temerity to complain about foreign oil dependence and the impending recession. Chamath is fine with human rights abuses in certain economies and even this week he floated a scheme to make kissy-kissy with Iran so we can import their oil to make up for a loss of Russian imports…so he loses all credibility in moral matters. (And also, hello, Keystone Pipeline?) I could go on, but point being, these blind spots naturally lead them to conclusions that will work fine if you're an ultra high net worth individual, but not so good for the rest of us…and I say this as a free market Capitalist (who can nevertheless see that system has been twisted like a pretzel.) So it’s often an amusing discussion but also really frustrating because it leaves one with the bitter aftertaste of tech boi hubris and Globalist nihilism. But at least they’ve dropped their smug high stakes Ed poker-and-cigars flex (We get it. You’re rich.)

Lack of diverse opinions
I originally enjoyed this podcast, but I think the people on here are just an echo chamber lacking diversity of opinion. For example, they say people need to be independent and think for themselves, but then they lose their minds that some people want to be cautious and still wear their masks. They don’t recognize that mask wearing can still protect you from general sickness other than covid, and act like wearing a mask means you are unable to experience life and are still sheltering and scared. I think the podcast should bring on a diverse set of guests (not more of their wealthy friends) to branch out and entertain other ideas. I’d also be curious for them to spend more time on topics other than Biden/politics.

Overall, I enjoy the insightful content and opinions of the panel. The host is talented at hosting but at times contains his emotions similar to my girlfriend when I was in junior high school. Very engaging, likely my favorite podcast
I find that Jason possesses a very unique ability to be incredibly annoying given that he just can’t contain himself and his liberal point of view. Nothing wrong with that, but he just can’t control himself. With that being said, I immensely enjoy the podcast and the point of views shared from the reminder of the panel of folks. Update*** E4 During episode 4, the group speaks about policing in the US and completely put on display their ignorance of the profession and the position police are put in every day. Jason posits that “maybe police shouldn’t get their gun for 2 or 3 years”. This exemplified someone who has no connection to the realities of crime and clearly has likely never needed the use of police services. There is no funding, no incentive, no societal motivation to be in this job and these positions from influential people such as those on this podcasts further exacerbates the problem. There is also plenty of use for armored vehicles in every locality. Please look up the sniper incident in Dallas in 2016 and tell me whether or not an armored vehicle would have been useful.

I look forward to the new episode of this podcast each week. The genuine, uncensored review and reflection of current events with a broad-based analysis of those events is thought-provoking, while the friendship dynamic creates a light-hearted atmosphere that makes it feel like a conversation anyone may have with their social group.

Show me a good loser and I’ll show you a loser
The All In Pod has something for everyone. The great thing about the show is you get in-depth conversations about so many topics. David Friedberg talking about science makes me very hopeful for the future! I haven’t been excited about science for over 30 years and now I can’t read enough. They have been very selective with guest and they are always excellent. I hope Naval will be a guest soon. Download and listen, I’m sure you will learn something and have laugh.

First New Podcast in 4 Years
First new podcast I’ve subscribed to in the last four years. My favorite new podcast. The group has the most interesting and topical discussions. It’s a true roundtable. They get into topics that most would be afraid to cover, and they each bring a unique POV. They cut across all the political spectrum and discuss all types of polices that impact people across the country universally.

An Anchor Point in my Week
Saturday morning listen to the All In Pod is an anchor point of my week! Each episode stretches my thinking and expands my awareness of items in the news, live policy debates, and up-to-the-minute tech and business happenings. Jason is a skilled moderator and the fact that the gang has survived multiple near-break-up level squabbles and attempted cancelings has me convinced this pod will stand the test of time.

You can care about what’s happening in your backyard while also caring about what’s happening in others. They’re not two mutually exclusive things. Par for the course for Chamath, disappointing to hear Friedberg supports this view.

Really liked where everyone was going. True, honest options of what the nation was truly feeling. Hate what they did to Chamath! I noticed him a little quiet on latest episode after all the fiasco, hope it was because of covid and not because of that event. Cancel culture shouldn’t be a thing for speech when expressing opinions! Hope the team can get over this and go back to their usual! Keep it up guys!

Done listening - horrible
Don’t try to re write what was said by Chamath. He still hasn’t said what’s happened in china is wrong specifically. The mob came after him because what he said was deplorable and disgusting. Done listening and disappointed both that he said it and that everyone acts like it was nuanced. There was no nuance. I listened to the entire episode. Done with it.

It’s ok to not agree
There are a lot of different viewpoints out there. I’m glad they are willing to discuss them from all sides. You don’t have to agree with everything stated but being willing to listen and draw your own conclusions is what they endorse. Also, they are very successful, listen without judgment and maybe you might learn something.

The Chamath Curtain is Pulled Back
I have decided to put my valuable time elsewhere. I cannot listen to another minute of Chamath tell me his thoughts on anything. I gave him the benefit of the doubt with the whole China muslim discussion, but to listen to him defend and make excuses for the NIH and Fauci is the end. Also, I never realized how much they interrupt Sacks who is the only one I care to listen too at this point.

What a bunch of phonies - except JCal
Could not believe what I kept hearing from these guys, except JCal. I get Sachs’ point about sometimes having to do business with people with questionable morals, especially when you’re looking at it in a geopolitical sense. But Chamath and Freiburg, my goodness. What cold, senseless human beings! I saw the 20 second clip on Twitter and thought maybe it took the point out of context. But after listening to the whole episode, it was actually way worse than the clip. Chamath just flat out saying the plight of millions of people isn’t worth his time. Freiburg goes on this huge rant about how we treat animals but twists himself into a pretzel to question whether we should concern ourselves with what’s happening in China. I really enjoyed this pod because I thought these guys were too rich and influential to be swayed by external forces. But this episode made me realize that wealth has made them less free and more prisoners of their station in life than the average person.

Embarrassing
I hope apple podcasts will treat this as if it were a right winged nut saying something so outrageous. I hope the person, whose name I won’t even try to spell because I know I’ll get it wrong, is removed from this show - at a minimum. @Apple, please, (if you can) show how you can be impartial and remove this host and condemn him as if it were a conservative saying these exact same comments. I lean “right” but I refuse to believe our big tech has become so partisan to the left that the “right” truly is as persecuted as all the pundits make us out to be. Please, please, treat this pundit as a zero sum game. Either leave the cast or be removed. I’m sure, at least I think I am, you’d do this to a right winger who said something similar.

Morally bankrupt
Chamath coming out with a full-throated defense of China committing mass human rights violations shows you where his heart is and it’s in a pretty far off spot. It wasn’t a pull quote taken out of context, but something he spent a lot of time talking about and then backed it with a mealy-mouth PR statement. These guys are openly pro-evil which is striking, even by 2022 standards.

Impressive team
It’s clear to me that these guys are both incredibly intelligent and prepare for this podcast. Across the spectrum of their four voices is an incredible array view points each usually well supported or if not, intelligently argued by another of the besties without conflict. It’s clear these guys both respect and like each other but are not afraid to oppose, generally. The topics are all within reach and are argued on merits. I learn an amazing amount each week and laugh in the process. Ad free as well. Would love to attend an All-in conference.

Started good, amazing potential, really disappointing lately.
This start off as a really good, macro economic “not investment advice” type podcast with some of the smartest capital allocators of our time, with interesting insights on medical advancements - and now turned into a political slugfest, mainly due to Sacks and Jason (who progressively makes good points but very annoying when he tries to explain his views, constantly interrupting) I wish they would just create a separate podcast for politics and stick to the original topics. Or Chamath and Friedberg make a podcast with balaji or another capital allocator (maybe another person in medicine) and replace this podcast as #1, because it’s getting ridiculous

I found the show from reading the Curiosity Chronicle substack. The show is great, the mix of discussion on economics, start-ups and politics makes this show one that I look forward too every week. One note, it does not take away, but the besties keep patting themselves on the back for discovering the concerns of parents and the negative impact on children and education of lockdowns. I am thrilled they are discussing this issue, I hope they continue to discuss it. But they are late to the party, millions of people have expressed these concerns since the start of the pandemic. A great example of a well known person in media who has been unrelenting is Megyn Kelly. I laughed at them again this week when they thought they discovered something a few months ago that many of us have been concerned about for almost 2 years now. Keep up the great shows! I have been encouraging friends to subscribe and listen. I hope you consider more than 1 show per week because I can’t listen enough.

Episode 63. Best episode ever
Absolutely loved this most recent episode. I love hearing Sacks and JCal go head to head in every episode but this particular episode was just…perfection. JCal is a naive utopian being led by the hand by the Democrat party and MSM and he finally had not only Sacks but the rest of the guys finally step up and shoot down his brainwashed proposals. Chamath briefly touched on an extremely important point which is indicative of America as a whole these days: many Americans have become so unaware of the blessings of liberty that they are now looking outwards to complain about the condition of the world. We should (to paraphrase Chamath) ‘focus on what’s going on in our own backyard before we go looking to fix the rest of the world.’

All-In is by far the most amazing and fun podcast in tech and in the world. I cannot wait for every episode to come out that I turned on my notifications for YouTube, Spotify, and apple podcasts to make sure I know when the weekly episode is released. Big fan of Jason and met him many times in SF and was on one of his ask Jason episodes, he’s is exactly the same in the pod and real life. David Sacks will always be my favorite because the way he speaks is always impressive, and he never tries to shove his opinion when it’s a topic he has no deep understanding in, he knows his strengths and uses them. Chamath and Queen of quinoa are both extremely smart and I love when they get deep into topics they have incredible knowledge of: Finance for Chamath and Science for the Queen. You guys are amazing. 5 stars for Freidberg
Unfortunately the one who talks the least has the most insightful things to say. While his buddies think he’s a robot, Freidberg approaches each topic and discussion with the most sincerity, humility, and thoughtfulness. The pod is always good for some laughs and I love the intro music.

My honest assessment of their honest assessment
OK, OK, OK. There’s no way this pod gets anything less than 5 stars because there is nothing else quite like it, but I do have some qualms with one aspect of the show. The business/economic insight is top-notch and the delivery is often pure comedy, but there is way too much time spent on subjects which no doubt alienate portions of your audience. I appreciate the way you have structured the pod (no ads) and this certainly is a refreshing alternative to traditional news media, but any additional time spent on extraneous political issues is that much less time I get to hear you guys riff on the stuff that brought me here in the first place. Tell me enough for me to understand the interactions between social/political forces and our economy, but then keep the focus on the economic impact to drive your point home. Then move on. If I wanted to spend my time being irked by someone’s unrelenting opinion my wokeness, I’d go over to my uncle’s house more often. With that said, it’s your soapbox and you can talk about whatever you want, I’ll be tuning in regardless.

Be Nicer to Friedberg
And Chamath you’re really off on the animal agriculture. Tighten up your ethical stance so you don’t end up ripped later. JCal, you’re moderation has improved and I’m very proud. Also, can you update your operating agreement to prevent Sacks from taking every topic and redirecting it towards furthering his political agenda? It’s a useful perspective, but it can’t be every segment in every show. There has to be somewhere in the middle where he can still have an opportunity to project his politics, but without the (increasingly shrill) repetition. Maybe a political plug limit per episode?

All In Review
This is a great listen. Not only how to hear what each of these extremely successful people think, but insight into how they think. It is educational along with some laughs. The takes are bipartisan in my opinion. People who are complaining about Sacks need to embrace hearing differing opinions from their own as well. Personally, I lean to the right but value Friedberg’s or Jason’s more than Sacks to hear a different take than my own. Differing opinion, intellect and humor is what makes this podcast great to listen to.

Friedberg Gets It
Thank you, thank you, gents. While I’m slightly interested in your financial information, I’m more interested and entertained by your friendly banter on social issues and norms. Chances are in America that the average citizen would not kill and eat his own dog, although they would find it completely acceptable to eat an industrialized cow or a pig. There are other cultures of course that would also kill the dog for meat. And how many Americans do you know that would never kill an animal but would not hesitate to eat it from the grocery’s styrofoam plastic package? This is a topic we should talk about with proper reasoning and analysis. Does the data dictate and confirm that animals suffer just like humans? Does science dictate that processed and industrialized meat is no longer necessary or beneficial to maintain proper nutrition and therefore the suffering of animals could easily be diminished? Why do our planet’s populations continue to starve even with all this industrialization? As humans we consider ourselves the most intellectual beings on earth with brains that can analyze, review and process information. Our intellect and the latest data should drive our future decision making. While one might consider the tastiness of a steak as a reason to continue to eat it, regardless of consequence, I would hope that human intellect and rational thinking would take precedence over compulsion. There has to be a solution out there that would more readily and nutritiously feed the hungry, and reduce suffering for all sentient beings. While I do not speak for Mr. Friedberg, I would assume his comments were headed in this direction.

Replace Sacks
It would be better if they replaced Sacks. His retread political views stolen from Facebook groups reduces his credibility. I listen to the podcast to hear thought out opinions that come from people that might have different viewpoints than me or other common opinions. The other three provide that with some decent debate across a myriad of topics beyond politics. Sacks just appears to be playing scoreboard politics and just trying to find ways to just prove left positions as bad as opposed to showing any actual intellectual thought into what he says. There have to be other mega rich entrepreneurs with a right wing opinion that actually think that could fill that role.

Saving the planet one billionaire at a time
Billionaire synthetic biologist and quinoa farmer David Friedberg quietly orchestrates Bestie pod-mates into building a new political platform to solve the climate crisis. After point guard host Jason Calacanis and fat-cat billionaire (and eventual California gubernatorial candidate?) David Sacks trim down by adopting a plant-based diet, and navigate their tumultuous twitter feud only after Friedberg steps in to mediate and host, subsequent episodes show Freidberg embolden Golden State co-owner and billionaire sweater-elitist Chamath Palihapitiya into drinking more wine---while on the pod. Will Friedberg eventually convince an inebriated Chamath to serve his environmentally-friendly quinoa at Warrior games? Tune in and find out! Occasional foul language and San Francisco bashing.

Highlighting the pinnacle of American exceptionalism, a charismatic Sri Lankan-Canadian immigrant, with the fashion taste of an old school Nigerian prince, verbally bullies his three besties for 80 minutes each week. Given that one bestie is joked to have high functioning autism, another exemplifies the symptoms of severe ADHD, and the third has the diet of a rabbit and the social skills of C3PO, the dictator, Chamath, has no shortage of material when it comes to satirically abusing his co-hosts. That lady clearly would have been “turned on” by Chamath under that sweater - we’ve all seen it. Unfortunately, the sweater didn’t stop the lady friend I was road tripping with from keeping to her side of the car. It must have been the white tiger foreskins. I couldn’t compete. Strangely though, these gentlemen bash the leadership of the Bay Area. Maybe the mid life crisis hasn’t hit them yet, I guess that’s a good thing, and will rub off on us listeners.

Intact Lives Matter! And so does the Environment!
As someone who identifies as an Intactivist and Environmentalist, I was both dismayed and heartened by Chamath’s velvety foreskin sweater. I felt beads of sweat and a racing heartrate at the cognitive dissonance caused by contemplating the horrors of the collecting of hundreds of baby foreskins followed by such an ingenious use of medical waste which would otherwise be incinerated, causing harmful emissions. Chamath’s 750mil investment in climate change is front and center in his devotion such lush sweaters. I truly love how my multiple intersectional identities are validated by the Besties on All In. Fresh off the capitalism carousel, three wiz kids and one old geezer vie for who’s opinion matter’s most. Zoom (or the occasional $1 mil+ pot) can’t keep these four tied-down & docile. From Chamath’s white tiger foreskin sweaters to Sack’s pulling apart the progressive left like string cheese, they are sure to get some liberal tears. But fear not! Friedberg’s measured technology-driven optimism and Jason rooting for retail investors at every turn will make the old money, pearl-clutchers just as turned off. The All In Podcast keeps you at the edge of your seat. You have David Sacks that talks like his giving a trial summation, while forcing the listener to have an opened webster dictionary on standby in case he says a word that no one has used for at least a century, you have Jason whose demeanor changes to a 180 when you mention a certain someone, you have Chamath constantly flirting with PETA while sharing gems at the same time, and Friedberg that will jump to any occasion to remind listeners that he is a Libertarian. This podcast can get crazy (positive) but what remains to be true is that the Besties are practitioners. They are highly skilled craftsmen. They offer authenticity and a different perspective in a World where truth/secrets are disappearing. They inspire you to go ALL IN. 💪🏽 Sweater color : Green Size: L/XL 😭

The All In Cult(ivation) of Real News
Watching this podcast is a weekly occurrence in our household. We laugh, we learn, and we hang with the besties. There are only 3 things in life that earn 5 stars: The All In Pod, Loro Piana sweaters, and the only episodes that air David Sacks on Tucker Carlson.

Home Improvement for the Mind
The All-In Podcast 💧🐦 is like Home Improvement for your brain. Jason is Tim The Toolman Taylor, leading the charge of positivity and wanting to do more and more, occasionally making a mess of things with… Sacks, who is now Jason’s partner, as Jill, cleaning up his occasional mess and running the show behind the scenes. Friedberg is Wilson, sneaking around behind that fence and steady giving the most intelligent and sage advice. Chamath is Al, he’s just a solid all around, sweater wearing dude who gets it done.

Amazing!
This show is as good as that really expensive wine that Sacks drinks on his yacht. At least I think… never tried expensive wine, or sweaters. This show is so informative and funny, and as a plus it’s hosted by some of the smartest people on earth. Listen to any episode and you’re bound to learn a new perspective you never considered, and become just a bit more informed. Thank you besties for making my favorite podcast!

I drink Charles Shaw and wear J.Crew sweaters. I’m thinking of buying a starter canoe soon. I play poker with high school basketball players, their names are *BEEP* and *BEEP*. I don’t know what quinoa is but Quiznos is good. Anyways, the show is primarily investment advice. I’d say more but I have to go buy some $HOOD before Jason distributes.

The Friedberg Show
Each week, 3 rich overconfident guys try not to be out-shown by the light that is David Friedberg. Try as they might, these fools can’t run from the harsh reality, that on their best day, they couldn’t hold a candle the cognitive ability of the David-bot. Inevitably this show will be cut down to just one host. Then the pod will reach its truest form, where Friedberg retells stories about music festivals and whispering into musicians’ ears that he loves them. I can’t wait.

I stumbled across this podcast as I was wasting away my life on TikTok avoiding the hours of work I really should have been doing for school. At first I thought who are these obnoxious boomers talking about stocks and how they’re feelings are hurt by getting taxed a lot because they’re billionaires. Although I still maintain a portion of the podcast is complaints about how hard it is to be rich, I truly enjoy their wisdom and insight into the world of finance and economics and believe I learn something new every week when I tune in. Thanks guys for all the insights and motivating me to actually do something with my life.

They need more late night wine pods. Not just Chamath, we need friedberg unleashed! I think it’s amazing that “someone” is calling out Chamath’s fabricated sweater stories while turning a blind eye to who actually made their cheap sweater. Fantastic Pod
What can I say about the show that hasn’t already been said about Afghanistan - its bombed out and depleted. Jcal the ‘moderator’ seems adamant about pushing his woke agenda. However, between trying to get Chamath to acknowledge his presence and appealing to the more libertarian Davids he seems a bit out of his league. Check episode 38 out if you don’t believe me. YIKES David Sacks is a closet Trumper that spends most of his time trying to convince us he isn’t. Somehow the rest of the crew has managed to keep the show from being canceled in spite having a constant thread of FOX news fed into his headphones. The only thing keeping him from being a mouthpiece of Tucker Carlson is his eagerness to shill his own bags - btw, if you haven’t, go download the ‘Callin’ app and buy some Solana while you’re at it. David Friedberg - the only one with an ounce of brains but doesn’t have the balls to take a side. Any time a controversial topic comes out you can almost hear him swallow his tongue - only if Chamth or Sacks hasn’t already began a diatribe (usually about how billionaires deserve a bigger piece of the pie). Finally, Chamath the dictator himself. The only incentive he has to come on the show is to make himself feel smarter when listening and subsequently correcting Jason’s input. He is obsessed with letting the audience know how smart, funny, and in shape he is. Hand wave much? Must be taking toast master classes from Bernie Sanders. With the sarcasm aside — They really do have a thoughtful conversation with incredible perspective not from a left or right bias but a bias of someone who has put in the effort, thought and time to succeed. Incredibly thankful I get to tune into these on a weekly basis and appreciate you all for taking the time out of your day’s to share your views.

Calacanis Tourette Syndrome
The show is more than 5 stars. But no matter the final rank, I subtract 1 star from the total due to Calacanis Tourette Syndrome. Calacanis Tourette Syndrome manifests itself in the form of interruptions while a bestie is making very profound statement. He clearly cannot help himself and there seems to be no cure after 55+ episodes. Poor Jason, one day there will be a cure for this.

1/1 Chamath x Loro Piana Chinchilla Holiday Sweater
Made out of Chinchilla fur from Joe Rogan’s annual hunting trip, Loro Piana has created a 1/1 custom sweater for Sri Lanka royalty Chamath Palihapitiya to upset the animal rights community. Daddy Chamath, please be my Santa Claus this year and head down my chimney and bestow me with the greatest Christmas gift: 1/1 Chamath x Loro Piana Chinchilla Holiday Sweater. Besides that, this podcast is filled with a bunch of filthy degenerate poker players that head to Chamath’s house every Monday night to YOLO the average American salary while drinking 🍷. At the end of the week on Friday, these besties all gather together powered by the magic of Zoom (Not Sponser) to discuss Chamath’s expensive sweater taste, macro/micro economics, and the state and future of all markets. I absolutely recommend listening to these degens for a good time as well as some insights to apply to your life. But for the love of god, someone please buy Sacks some headphones that fit his head and ears.

My Girlfriends Boyfriend Loves This Podcast
I never thought I could trust Derrick, he’s a 5’11 trainer/angel investor that’s best friends with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, during 2020 him and my girlfriend were forced to quarantine together for 6 months due to state lockdown measures. However, my girlfriend and I FaceTimed everyday and made it work (ps. I’m planning to propose soon). One night, after blitzing the Borgata in Atlantic City, Derrick said “You should listen to this awesome podcast by these gambling degenerates. It’s called ‘All-In”. Derrick couldn’t have called it better. I love this podcast and I love Derrick.

Very Informative and Funny Podcast
This is a must listen to podcast of four besties talking about tech and business and who’s unicorn is bigger. The all-in pod is by far the best podcast out there. I learn more from them every week than I do in college. They are all wildly successful, self-made and hilarious. Chamath is a boss and a great investor. Cool to get a glimpse into a billionaires lifestyle Sacks is insanely bright, has hot takes weekly and always predicts things b4 everyone else. Revenge of The White Sweater
I started watching this show for thoughtful debate by leaders that I respected, but am staying for colorful diatribes about sweaters and wine that cost more than what I’ve made as a college student in the past two years. The highlight in the last episode was a wine induced series of insults against the anonymous viewer who was sore from Chamath elaborating his sartorial choices as if it were a sexual experience post consumption of hallucinogens.

Chamath exposing himself as a smug self serving hypocrite
Some moments of great discussion But their recent propensity to billionaire backslap and high five about their private jets and thousand dollar wines is tone deaf. Another favorite recurring bit is when Chamath gets on his soapbox about how evil Facebooks business is and never discloses that he helped build that business and it’s the primary source of his wealth. …..“let’s clear the air, we’re not here to pump solana…” (gives 15 minute sales pitch for Solana)…”not investment advice” lol Often entertaining and insightful but prepare to roll your eyes.

Hits and Misses
I enjoy the insightful takes on emerging industries and current economic trends. The political takes tho…yikes my boys. For a bunch of Gen X’ers the political takes are fairly lazy and boomer -esque. MSNBC and Fox News regurgitation, after every episode I’m reminded why “eat the rich” is alive and well. For instance the recent episode on elections, it’s very easy to see that Dems didn’t get the young vote out to vote because young people are much more progressive than what Joe Biden has offered thus far. A hard pill to swallow for this bunch but I was surprised this flew 10k miles over all of your heads.

They’ve gone off the deep end
Only reason to watch was for Sacks, but having to listen to Chamath/Jason/Friedberg is insufferable. Chamath the authoritarian king of pump and dumps, loves his rules for thee but not for me decrees. Would love to see everyone starve if they don’t follow his rules. Friedberg talks about certain medicines his big pharma overlords tell him to push. Might actually be an AI. Jason is a lost puppy who couldn’t be bothered to allow a real discussion to happen. Forget this podcast.

The All-Boomer podcast
Not sure when this happened but somewhere along the way this has turned into the “Demented Uncle” podcast. Tune in if you want to listen to banal takes about the “the media” and cancel culture. Not that the media doesn’t deserve criticism from time to time. But spending half a show about Rachel Maddow retweeting a false story(and honest mistake on her part) yet completely ignoring conservative media/Fox News disinformation campaign on Ivermectin and vaccines that’s literally killing people by the thousands shows some short sightedness at the very least.

Discrimination and bigotry encourage within content
I really appreciate the thoughtful contributions Chamath Palihapitiya, David Sacks & David Friedberg provide in this podcast and YouTube show on the various well chosen topics, especially the balanced perspective David Sacks provides despite being lambasted or interrupted frequently by the others. Jason Calacanis is a different story though as every episode I think about unfollowing this production (but haven’t as I want to hear the other three contributors) due to Jason’s disrespectful expansive interrupts over top of other contributors while they are in the middle of talking, which is often made worse by him rambling on instead of getting to the point while he steadily increases his volume over top of the other speakers. To compound this Jason is frequently opinionated to point of being non inclusive and personally critical of anyone who has a different thought or idea to himself, it is so bad it is to the point of sounding childish. Although Jason gives lip service to the ideas of inclusion, acceptance of everyone’s right to their own thoughts, choices and ideas Jason’s actioned suggest he doesn’t really believe that. Jason doesn’t understand that his ego and his opinion is not the focus of the rest of the world. On the matter of vaccines frequently all three except David Sacks actively promote the idea of setting aside a persons civil liberties and the right to choose their own medicine and what happens to their bodies, which essentially is placing their goals in the boundaries of the non-vaccinated to appease the fears of the vaccinated that the vaccine didn’t work as well as it is portrayed. Jason is the worst in this area and probability better suited to the characterization of “Dictator” than Chamath is. I wonder if these people would like this concept followed to its logical conclusion in which other people set their goals in the boundaries of the hosts and demanded they comply or else experience the wrath of discrimination, restrictions of customary life and the need to earn a living. If a person does not believe a vaccine represents a good risk / reward then their right to choose that for themselves must be respected and defended as one day you may desire freedom of choice for something you find yourself in contradiction to the mob. Discrimination over something like a vaccine is no different than any other discrimination over color, sex, or religion. It is bad for everyone in society.

Three out of Five is something, right?
The only one of these guys that has a perspective larger than their own insulated, extremely narrow POV is Chamath. It is worth listening to, but proves again the wealthy white guy is a “type” that often fails to see how they have benefited from the established scaffolding of the world’s structures. It often seems that they believe the principles of libertarianism and start up culture apply across humanity…….IMO, less than critically thought out.

Right wing venture capitalist authoritarians (some posing as libertarian) try to paint the intellectual majority population as “the woke mob”, while whining about how covid mandates infringe upon their personal freedoms.
