This establishment necon isn’t worth listening to. She still supports the very war criminals she served under.

Great topics & guests - Peter was my favorite
All the episodes are great the one with Peter was my favorite. I would truly love to hear a podcast by him. I would especially be interested in hearing his take on UK politics the way he shared his thoughts on Boris on this episode.

Disappointed in Dana
I enjoy hearing Dana on The 5 and have gotten to know her better through this podcast. I thought I knew what she told for: conservative values. Therefore it was very easy to support her via this podcast… However, since her promoting and airing the story of a couple that transitioned their daughter at 5-years-old and not condemning this action as child abuse, I can no longer support this podcast. She has shown her true colors and does not stand for the conservative values she claims. It’s one think you vote Republican or be critical of the left, it’s another to openly support this vile part of our culture and push it to millions as normal, brave, and acceptable. Fox News can do better. Dana can do better.

Wish I’d heard this podcast 10 yrs ago!
I’m a huge fan of Fox News and so appreciate this intelligent and authentic podcast. And even though I grew up on MTV with Kennedy in that realm, and enjoy her on Fox when I get to see her, I am newly impressed with her from this episode! So important to feel acknowledged from other’s similar emotions and experiences and thank you both for the reminder to give myself grace.

Everything will be ok
I bought this book for my 21 year old niece who is a junior in college and will be applying to vet school. I read it as well and began listening to the podcast. It is so valuable to all ages. No matter your age you will get many lessons out both.

More than expected
Based on the title, I was expecting platitudes and feel-good fluff, but this is more than that. Great podcast for people of faith with a drive for excellence.

I needed this
Thank you to Dana Perino for hosting a podcast that is timely, educational and inspiring. It’s been so good for my mental health wellness. I’ve received great book recommendations, discovered new music, and even some good advice and words I’ve passed on to my own daughter when she was stressed. Everything WILL be okay.

Always listen and learn something new
I was very moved by this episode about John Ondrasik and how he came to write his new song “Blood on my Hands”. Dana always put her guests front and center to spotlight them.

Terrible.
I suppose I always knew Chris was the morals of the podcast but after Fix firing him for starkly political reasons I find it both disgusting and traitorous for Dana to hijack the feed of a show that was built of his authenticity for a totally fake and highly produced show. Sad to see that she is just a puppet who actually only reads scripts. I’ll tell you what was a real gem — I’ll just have to get my stirewalt content on the Dispatch but it’s a shame Dana has put on her muzzle and gone along with the Big Lie in order to collect her paycheck from Fox.

Your daily dose of positive
This review is less episode specific and more a review of Everything Will Be Okay. If you are looking to take away something positive from a podcast this one never misses. In my opinion Dana Perino is one of the most trusted persons in journalism today. This podcast reaches outside the news cycle to deliver life tools to make us all better and more present. I hope this podcast has a long run!

Wow I loved this podcast with Jesse so much
Dana I’m so happy that you had Jesse on. I’m currently reading his book now. I absolutely love and adore you,Jesse and Greg. The stories you talked about had me laughing so much. I loved Jesse’s insight and perspective. I had no idea he helped with Jessica’s law. I have so much respect for him for doing that. I mentioned you should air the breaks on Fox nation Dana. I have a feeling you have amazing breaks. I hope one day I can come and watch all of you tape the five. I have to admit I miss you Dana when you’re not there and same goes for Jesse and Greg. You’re the phenomenal three. I love hearing you laugh at the mom texts Dana. I also love how you can feel the genuine love and respect between you and Jesse. Jesse made a very wise choice in picking his first podcast. You want only the best Dana is the absolute best in the business. God bless you,Jesse and greg. I have to admit Dana on the five Dagen and Katie are my favs.♥️

Dana shows her true colors
I was a big fan of Dana from Bush admin and enjoyed her intellect on Fox but she seems to have abandoned that over past few years to play the role of the complicit Fox blonde. She always ducks her head in sand when faced with mistakes of own party but will gleefully and rightfully attack the other side. This podcast is an extension of her sand-hunting instead of facing reality of politics and she doesn’t even acknowledge Chris. That’s not exactly back-stabbing but feels almost as slimy and disgusting. I tried a few episodes of this but was not impressed and somewhat bored. Meanwhile, Chris’ podcast a much better and honest continuation of “i’ll tell you what”.

Chris Stirewalt Erased
Dana, I know you’ve got to look after your career, but couldn’t Fox allow you to at least mention your former co-host? Really disappointed in the direction of my party and politics at large. When will people learn to stop cowing to a disgraced president that asks for complete loyalty, while then discarding anyone when it’s not convenient. Our presidents work for us and shouldn’t be treated as deities.

This was a great podcast, and like so many other loyal fans, I used to look forward to it every single week. It was very upsetting to learn how Fox treated Chris. He is one of the smartest people in the industry, and will be missed dearly!!! It would have been nice to have gotten a final podcast episode for clarity purposes. We miss you, Chris.

Lost one of my trusted sources for right wing news
In Trump’s right wing, I very much struggle to find a right wing opinion that isn’t gaslighting or flat out lying to maintain Trump’s wishes. This was one of those. I want to be as well rounded as possible but I can’t take the lying. Do what you have to do with the podcast, but this new season without Chris is very disappointing to me.

Can’t listen after what Fox has done to Chris. Love Dana but her delivery of her amazing insight is limited by trying to keep her job. FWIW-Chris has landed at TheDispatch.com. There you will again hear his offerings and his chuckle.

Fox should be ashamed of what they did to Stirewalt
I hate giving the lowest possible review to what I suppose is Dana’s show now, because she’s a great person, but Chris was the reason to keep coming back to this show (and one of the few reasons to stick with any Fox products at this point, since they’re determined to triple down on their crazy late night audience). Honestly, I hope Dana ditches the sinking ship of FOX whenever her contract is up. It’s clear they don’t want Republicans like her, they just want to compete with Newsmax & OAN for the psycho QAnon people who believe stolen election nonsense. At least Stirewalt caught on with The Dispatch. Makes their subscription even more worthwhile.

MISS YOU CHRIS
I can not believe what Fox did to Chris. Chris has been explaining for years why Fox has the best decision desk in the country. Then they fired him because he trusted the Math on the system they built!! Fox is just another propaganda machine of a different color. I hope Chris will start a new podcast or whatever he decides I sure hope he lands on his feet. The REAL silent majority need As many people like Chris to stay involved in Political commentary as possible. I will give Dana a listen but if she pretends Chris never existed I will be gone.

5 stars for Dana Chris is a swamp rat
Dana is great but Chris has become unlistenable. Between his constant ‘yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah’, his increasingly condescending attitude, and the last straw his mess of election coverage he has forced me to unsubscribe. Would love to listen to Dana on her own podcast or with someone who isn’t a jerk. I’ll miss her insight. 4/6/21 update: I was hoping Dana was starting a new podcast I’d subscribe to that in a second. I’m very happy Chris and his condescending DC elitist attitude has been cancelled.

Fox made a huge Misstep
Loved this podcast. Dana and Chris mesh well, have excellent banter, both reveal insightful inside baseball analysis. Both articulate and accomplished. Fox cutting Chris loose because he and his team called Arizona like he saw it before anyone else and Fox frowns on this? Fox used to be my go to news channel. Now I don’t watch Fox as they have decided to cater to their perceived demographic which is why I don’t watch CNN or MSNBC (aka MSNDC). Fox=pathetic. Good luck as your viewers flee to even more right wing cable channels and moderate conservatives as me who will switch to BBC or similar. Your research shows this to be true. Tossing out more opinion shows masquerading as news shows is what CNN and MSNBC have done. Trust as they say is hard to earn and easily lost. You say goodbye to Chris and I say goodbye to Fox.

I’ve listed to Dana And Chris for a very long time time and have great respect for them. Today was my first podcast and I was sorely disappointed. It was nothing but a bunch of random ramblings with no significant content whatsoever. I’ll try one more shot but it’s got to get a LOT better to keep me engaged. You can do better than this....

Dana Perino and Chris Stirewalt make a great podcasting team. It's a pleasure to hear their take on the week's political events. 3/7/2021 Update: it is disappointing to find out that Chris was fired from Fox News in a purge. I was wondering why there were no recent episodes of this podcast.

Stirewalt is a snake and perrino is a RINO
Stirewalt you are a traitor of the worst order! I hate what you did to the Arizona election of the US president. You are the cause we lost to Biden. You called the election in Arizona right after the polls closed. You are evil and corrupt. As for you Perrino, you have corrupted Faux News with your leftist liberals. You are a disgrace to Wyoming! I would give you negative stars but I can’t due to this stupid algorithm!

Love(d)
UPDATE: Well I did love this show. Chris will be sorely missed at Fox. Their decision to bow to the furthest part of their base is extremely disappointing. This show was something I looked forward to every week and to have it pulled without at least a follow up from Dana or Bonewald shows how little Fox thinks of their listeners. Boo This is my favorite podcast! I love the personal banter, but also behind the scenes looks at The Decision Desk and Dana’s shows. Love the relaxed, friendly attitude of the show.

What is going on?!
I don’t know if I should give it 5 stars for how much I enjoyed this podcast or 1 star because they fired Chris! So disappointed in this. Chris, you were one of the true level heads in the business. I look forward to hearing your wisdom somewhere else. Dana, perhaps Fox won’t let you comment publicly. If so, fine. But if you’re able, your fans and Chris deserve to hear from you on this matter. Thank you both!

Are you SERIOUS
Are you kidding me?! I just found out about Chris which explains why I’m so disappointed every week that there are still no new episodes of this podcast. I’ll be honest, I’m so sick of the news, but I also know that it’s important to keep informed of what’s going on in national politics. So for months and months the only shows I watched were The Five, Daily Briefing, and Greg Gutfeld show, because Dana and Greg are two of the few people who can still keep their heads on their shoulders and give a real honest analysis of what’s going on. I also would listen to this podcast. Chris was always so informative, FAIR TO BOTH SIDES, and he and Dana would break away from politics so we got our political updates but also had something funny and interesting to listen to. I heard Fox’s ratings were plummeting; getting rid of someone like Chris is NOT going to help them. It’s only going to give credence to the people who see Fox as a right-wing propaganda machine. Keep getting rid of your fair and moderate journalists and hosts and see where you’re at in another 5 years Fox. Better keep Greg, Dana, and Bret around or you’ll really be down the tube.

Dana, You Are a Disappointment
I was a loyal listener of ITYW for years. It’s a disgrace that Fox fired Chris Stirewalt, but I understand that that is out of your control, Dana. What is in your control, Dana, is your relationship with your listeners. People who listened to you for years deserve more than your continued silence. Do your ever plan to mention Chris’s name again? Will you ever acknowledge that you did this podcast for years? Or are you just going to pretend it didn’t happen because Chris got fired and you got promoted and that’s the cost of doing business. I had thought better of you than that.

So disappointed with Fox!! They keep someone like Maria Bartirimo and others who are SO biased for Trump and let go of High quality, unbiased reporting like Chris Stirewalt does! Dumb move, Fox!!
Never written a review ever but I just found out Chris was fired and that’s why I had no new episodes. I’ve been a loyal listener from the beginning- before the podcast even had a name. I used to save the episodes for weekend morning runs with my son. I’d recommended this podcast to numerous people and even had one person tell me I should try it out, forgetting I was the one who recommended it to them. I remember election night and Chris coming on the air to defend the Arizona call and telling my husband that I’d trust what Chris said - he’s not going to feed us garbage information. Chris - you are truly missed and I sincerely wish you and your family the best. Thank you for the many fond memories I have of listening to you and Dana.

CRUSHED!
My Tuesdays have not been the same!! I have listened to every episode for almost 5 years and I am at a loss! Dana and Chris together brought a unique and MUCH needed perspective to this insane world (and my podcast feed). They are literally the only reason I have not totally written off Fox News. Why are we as humans so compelled to silence the voices that challenge our perspective and views?!? Chris, (I know this is cliche) but you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that this change brings nothing but good things for you. I thought your choices and calls during the November election were courageous and bold... as you so simply stated it on the podcast: it’s not politics, it’s math. I hope there is a way for you and Dana to get the podcast going again. Wherever you end up, I’ll be listening.

I will miss you both! Any chance you could do a final podcast just for closure? The abrupt ending was a little hard on those of us who made this a part of our weekly routine. I guess it’s healthy for all of us to move on...but it would be great to hear from both of you together one more time.

Chris and Dana have been a highlight of my week for the last 4 years. The Podcast to End All Podcasts
Update: Devastated to hear that Chris Stirewalt was fired FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING. So disappointed in this network. ITYW has been the podcast that I anticipated it’s dropping every week. The one that I knew I could rely on for honest news, fun food talk and fantastic book reviews.. and the trivia... If there is a way to continue this podcast independently, I hope you two can find a way to keep it going. You are a dynamic pair who do many of us have grown to trust. ***** My week is not complete until I’ve gotten to listen to Dana and Chris, and now my daughters (11 & 14) look forward to it too, especially the trivia. He had one job
And he did it with constant joy and accuracy. Chris Stirewalt was fired for being correct, making the correct call, and standing by the correct call. He will NEVER knowingly feed us wrong info. I hope he knows that we appreciate him more than words can say, and that there are more of us than the kind of dim witted, shortsighted “words I can’t say here” who have made this mistake. I also know that even as he must know he did nothing wrong, he will be taking this hard. Don’t let it crush you, Chris. Not for one moment. Take a well deserved break and then look at your offers and come on back to us. We will be waiting. Much love to both you and Dana. I know she has hard decisions, too. I really hope you all find a way to keep coming to us together. I think you will. You are both positive people and I’m confident you’ll solve it in ways that fit well. Fox you’ve shot yourselves in the foot.
The fact that Fox had the audacity to get rid of Chris for doing what he was being paid to do and for doing it correctly is very unfortunate. I love Chris’ insight on not only politics but food and life in general. Few are as humble, smart and well thought as he is. I’m going to greatly miss this show and am personally done with Fox as result of this.

I'll Tell You What...this is for politinerds. Anybody whose favorite class was civics or history will easily fall in love with this podcast. Also, a must for fans of The Five. Perino and Stirewalt have such good on air chemistry. They're fun, witty, insightful, and incredibly down to earth, it's a pleasure to listen to their commentary. I eagerly await episodes each week (no joke) and I really hope they continue for years to come.

I looked forward to the podcast every week, with Chris telling it like it is and giving us great context and perspective and Dana keeping the conversation moving. Likewise, I’ll need to find another daily digest of news now that Chris is no longer helming the helming the Halftime Report. What a shame. He always gives everyone’s side and then gives you his pragmatic take. I’ll be on the lookout for Chris’s next move, and will follow his work whenever he goes. Without Chris, I have no reason to tune into any Fox products any longer. I guess this is “see ya”, Fox!

Dana and Chris are the best for so many reasons!
please tell me this is not the end.... I am a big consumer of political commentary and what sets Dana and Chris apart is that it is insightful and collegial!!! In a world of angry, hate filled, us vs them media - Dana and Chris soothe the soul! Additionally, I love their book recommendations! Both my husband and I read West with the Night and LOVED it. Thank you so much! I also read Post Corona fascinating.

A+ duo
I’m a true-blue, day one listener of this fantastic podcast. It is the perfect mix of food anecdotes, historical trivia, current events and political stats. Chris breaks down the facts and speaks with such ease in his detailed political analysis. I love to hear both Dana’s and Chris’s thoughts on the news of the week (with the occasional cameo by Peter). This podcast truly is a delight for political/food/historical junkies. Chris, you are so smart, professional and a total class act. Whenever you end up will be LUCKY to have you. I will follow as a loyal listener/reader/fan.

Just another fan note to say how much Chris will be missed. In a few months I feel like he’s going to be so much better off, and it will be Dana who we feel bad for working at a company who has gone head first into lala land.

At an end
I am assuming now that Mr. Stirewalt is no longer at Fox; the podcast is at an end. I stopped watching Fox or any other of the cable news outlets quite a few years ago. Although I didn’t always agree with everything that Mr. Stirewalt said, I will miss the great chemistry of Chris and Dana. I wish Chris the best, hope he lands at a new outlet for his fine talents.

Thank you Chris and Dana
I don’t remember how I found ITYW, only that I began listening in 2016 as part of an effort to diversity my news diet. Dana and Chris have been constant companions ever since. I appreciate Dana’s ability to keep things light and ask great questions. I appreciate how Chris tells the bitter truth with compassion and levity. I’ll miss this podcast, thank you for the time you’ve spent with us!

Best political podcast out there!
This was my favorite podcast, the one I never missed. I think wherever Chris goes next will become my favorite podcast. He really has the gift of the gab and Dana is his perfect foil. AND they are both authentically nice people. How refreshing is that?

One of the best parts of every week
Thank you to Dana and Chris by putting on such a truly delightful informative and stellar podcast for so many years. I always looked forward to hearing about the news of the week from the two of you. And always enjoyed the quizzes at the end and Peter’s guest appearances every Christmas. I hope you guys can find a way to bring back the podcast in some iteration. My fiancé and I have enjoyed from the beginning hearing both of your brilliant and fun takes on the political news of the week and the more trenchant takes on life and human nature as well. I am very sorry Chris that Fox made the bad move this week of letting you go, but know that you are in our prayers and that if you decide to set up a Patreon or some other venue where we can support your work I know there are plenty of fans of ITYW or the halftime report who would be delighted to hear from you and we would delightedly pay for the privilege. God bless you both. -Dan

It was time for Chris to leave as he held hate in his heat for President Trump. Time for Chris to return to West Virginia & meditate. Dana should have held his hand as she does with Jesse Watters on The Five.

Regrets
Sorry to hear that Chris S. took the fall and was axed by Fox News Channel. I hope that a full and accurate rendition of just what happened surfaces someday, and that Chris lands on his feet. He seemed like a genuinely nice and decent human being, and his insights and humor enriched every episode of this podcast. I see that Dana Perino has moved on to another one. Good luck and Godspeed to both.

Devastated about Chris
I loved this podcast so much. Dana and Chris are amazing humans and journalists. I am appalled that Fox let go one of the kindest, honest, and most professional journalists in the business. I cried whenever Chris got emotional on the podcast because his heart and kindness was always so truthful. I know you will succeed wherever you go, Chris. I wish you nothing but the best always.

I guess it’s over
A political podcast in which the hosts do not want to speak about politics. I assume that it is finished due to Fox News firing Chris Stirewalt for doing his job and telling the truth, something that is apparently anathema to management. I’ll miss this show. I hope that Miss Perino finds another partner, or leaves Fox News and picks up this show somewhere else.

Chris, you wrote exactly how I feel. Hoping that Stirewalt lands somewhere (The Dispatch, perhaps?) where he’ll be valued. And I hope Dana gets out of that place ASAP and also lands somewhere that unharnesses her wisdom. Good riddance to Fox, from a once-loyal viewer and listener.

Devastated to hear about Chris Stirewalt’s Departure
Chris Stirewalt - for as long as I can remember - has provided the most unbiased, genuine takes on the political happenings of the day. I certainly don’t agree with everything he says - but I don’t agree with everything ANYONE says! The pure reverence Chris has for our amazing country and his incredible ability to speak so beautifully has given me more hope for our future than any other source in my life. I can say with every fiber of my being that his departure from Fox is the single largest mistake the company has made in years. This podcast has been a respite from the cacophony of bias coming from every major media source these last few years, and I am beyond sad to hear this news. I only hope Dana and Chris can continue these weekly chats in some form or another - not only for my sake, but for the good of all reasonable people of this nation.

5 stars for ITYW, 0 stars for Fox News
I’ve never written a review, but I feel so compelled after today’s news. This was my favorite podcast. Funny, lighthearted (which is necessary in this day and age), politically central and incredibly smart. Stirewalt is a genius, providing insight based on history and data, not political bias or emotion. He and Dana are clearly friends and have a fantastic dynamic that is so enjoyable to listen to. You feel like you know them both. Such a shame that Fox News decided he was too intelligent and honest for them because he didn’t appeal to raging, tinfoil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorists that suddenly appears to be their new target audience. Won’t be tuning into anything Fox broadcasts anymore because of this idiotic and incredibly short-sighted move. They can have their alt right mob - I won’t be part of it, and I imagine other moderates will follow suit. Hope Stirewalt moves onto bigger and better things at an organization that appreciates his journalistic talents. I will miss him on this podcast. Dana is also an absolute gem and deserves immense credit for her intelligence and the unique insight she brings from her experience at the WH. I hope she has good things in her future, too.

Fun and informative
I love this podcast. Chris and Dana are such a great team! They do a great job of telling you what’s going on without a ton of opinion thrown in (other than Chris’ food opinions). I honestly can’t tell what side of the aisle Chris falls on and I really appreciate that. He’s so incredibly smart it’s really fun hearing his takes on everything and how it compares to what happened historically. I love Dana’s optimism and sunny personality. It’s great when Peter comes in too. Those have been some of my favorite episodes. This is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to every week and I hope they find a way to continue it.

I am literally sick to my stomach hearing the news of the layoff of Chris. The network has gone so deep into cultural grievance and primetime is conspiratorial garbage. Light hearted
Here is why I love listening to you guys. You are serious but you keep it entertaining, in formative and light . I know you both lean conservative but are not afraid to give an honest opinion about an action or idea that you agree with or disagree with. You are able to share opinions with out trying to tell everyone why someone who doesn’t share that opinion is so wrong. Finally, you are a great team together and neither of you don’t mind laughing at yourself. First time I’ve ever written to a podcast thank you.

What’s going on with Chris?
Is it me? Or has Chris started to get pretty unbearable lately? The point of this podcast if for both of them to provide their point of view, so I’m not knocking his opinions. But lately he’s just negative and pretentious. It’s very bizarre since I usually love his point of view. Love Dana! But I’ll have to stop listening for a while. Today he said something to the effect of “the reason people follow Donald Trump is because education is lacking in our society.” That bothered me. Maybe it’ll get better in a few months?

Never been so disappointed in a pundit, I used to enjoy this show until it became increasingly obvious CS was a never Trumper. His early call of Arizona was a clear sign he was in on the scheme. Love this podcast and will continue to be a loyal fan. Very disappointed with recent comments disparaging Chris when he’s simply speaking the truth and calling out bad behavior. So disappointed
When Biden “won” the election, it was if a switch had flipped and Chris could finally reveal his true colors. Trump may be hard to take at times, but must Chris be so gleeful about the results? I much preferred his non-partisan analysis to his current pompous attitude. So now we’ll be “led” by a typical politician, who in turn will be led by the left-wing media, academia, etc. I guess for Chris, all’s well again in the swamp. Also, I’m glad someone finally spoke up about Dana’s virtue signaling about her gross food choices and the teeny tiny portions that her teeny tiny body can manage to consume. FYI , my teenagers tried soda stream and hated it, so I won’t be embracing Dana’s bizarre food recommendations. You can eat things other than cardboard and still be healthy.

Great!
This might be the best politics-focused podcast on iTunes. Chris and Dana have a great banter and it’s clear they like working together. The political analysis from both of them is smart, nuanced, illuminating and, most importantly, interesting. Fact-based with a heavy reliance on history, they allow us, the listener, to make up our own minds. They offer insightful, often provocative, criticism of not only our elected leaders from both sides of the aisle, but give us real insight into why our government seems to be so dysfunctional. They do it with humor, humility and an unwavering belief in American resolve and ingenuity. If you want a better and more complete understanding of today’s ever-changing political landscape, you need to listen to I’ll Tell You What.

I enjoy listening to this podcast very much. When Chris referenced the Four Loves by Lewis, I decided to read it. It is thought provoking but it is work! ALWAYS EXCELLENT!
This is one of my favorite podcasts ever. Centered very much around politics, it is ALWAYS honest, well reasoned, and objective. It has to be the ONLY one that I can say that about. Dana and Chris are excellent on this show, and extremely knowledgeable, bringing extensive governmental insights to the game. Stirewalt, with his wealth of knowledge on history and terrific perspective, would be an amazing White House press secretary.... THINK OF IT— I would pay a significant amount of cash to see a reporter ask a completely ridiculous question about something that Chris knows well, only to have Stirewalt look him or her squarely in the eyes, and say ...WOOF. SIGNIFICANT MONEY. Bravo, folks!

Kindness wins!
I always used to tell my kids (who are mostly grown adults now) that it is better to be kind than to be right. Dana and Chris truly embody this principle and live it out on this podcast...and it is such a breath a fresh air! In the midst of the division, turmoil, and noise in this country, it is wonderful to listen to thoughtful people who discuss real (and sometimes hard!) issues with the goal of choosing kindness over always being right. Thank you!

Sad to see
Have loved this podcast for a long time. Listened every week. Loved the non political conversation as much as the political. You both used to be mostly unidentifiable with regard to party affiliation (knowing Dana was W’s Press Secretary was a clue but that was it really) Unfortunately have been increasingly irritated with Chris and his pompous condescending attitude over the past number of months. Love his vocabulary and encyclopedic knowledge of history but recently the endless bloviating about Trump is too much to take. He probably should take a step back and rethink his objectivity or perhaps switch to CNN/MSNBC. I can turn on any channel on the television to listen to pompous virtue signaling “journalists” tell me again how “Orange Man Bad”. Sad to see..... still love you though Dana!

I agree with the last reviewer that said Chris you have ruined it. I loved this podcast when it came out. Now it’s turned into a podcast that says only ‘what does Chris think’ and Dana never gets to talk. Frankly, who cares what Chris thinks. He’s hated our president from the start. You can hear it. I’ll Tell You What Else Nov 16 2020
Firstly, I really do enjoy your Podcast. Chris has a way putting events in a historical context that makes me less fearful of the world. I was just looking at some reviews and apparently if Chris gives a bad comment about Trump, he’s a biased hater, Nonsense, keep up the good work Chris. The real reason for this review was how incensed I was listening to the rerun of a 2017 show. Dana, please inform your husband Peter that the European Court of Human Rights is not part of the EU and has no part in Brexit. It is a totally separate organization to the EU and the UK was a founding member. The UK is still a member of the ECHR and has no plans to leave it. I am also a British ex-pat, having lived in the US for over 20 years now. I have worked in both the UK and the USA as an RN. Your discussion regarding the NHS was without facts or foundation. I would agree the NHS is underfunded, yet when you look closely at healthcare indices you will find that the UK is far ahead of the US and is an incredibly efficient system. The spends 18% of GDP on healthcare and overall health quality and life expectancy is lower than our European partners. The UK spends around 9% of GDP on healthcare. The US spends approximately double the amount per patient but with worse results. The US is 73rd in the world for Infant and Maternal mortality. The UK is 29th in the world for longevity and the USA is 54th. The largest lobby in Washington is the healthcare lobby, go figure! It’s an American cash cow. I suggest you research wildly available data whether it be from the CIA, WHO or any other organization that will show the benefits and better results of universal care. Private healthcare is available in the UK, individuals have the right to use it. The Germans have a heavily regulated private system which again produces far better results than the USA at around 12% of GDP. No serious right of center political party in the rest of the western world will deny their people universal healthcare. Universal healthcare is fiscally conservative and pro-life.

Disappointed
I loved this show when I could listen and not tell which party Chris identified with. I felt I was really getting neutral information and there is very few places to get that. I am disappointed that his rhetoric has become so harsh. At the least the lawsuits will make the election a little more legitimate to some even if Trump loses in the end. So to imply that it is crazy or theatric and Trump should just give up and concede makes it even more plausible that there is something else going on and Chris doesn’t want him to look into it. The increase rhetoric only gives it more fire. He should say to let it play out and in the end a lot of people will be more comfortable with the outcome either way.

Dana, you’re amazing, smart, funny & balanced in your approach. I trust your reporting/views & I often feel like you’re someone I could be friends with. This one was the last straw when it devolved into CS’s self indulgent, sleep deprived, weepy, self righteous, bathetic drivel. I’m unsubscribing but will check back periodically to see if there’s been constructive change in the co-host category. How can someone with years in politics be so naive concerning problematic legal issues surrounding the 2020 election counts? Not even worth one star, but to post, had to give it one.

Chris, you jumped the gun on election night calling Arizona so early. You and your team in that room put your on-air colleagues in defensive mode the rest of that night and the rest of the week!! Your explanation and defense of the call on this podcast was blah, blah, blah and yada yada yada! Made no sense and was indefensible!! I’m sure you were both tired so maybe just should have skipped trying to prep and air a podcast. Dana, thanks for being fair and level-headed on The Daily Briefing and The Five. S.

Political Elites
This podcast is the definition of what is wrong in America today. I’ve listened since the inception of it and quit today. Dana is fine, seems like a nice person but unwilling to challenge Stirewalt on his egotistical self righteous hatred of Trump and his supporters. Stirewalt is a bloated windbag full of self righteous virtue and complete inability to ever question his belief structure in the political and media establishment. He should be fired for how wrong the Fox polls have been and the incompetence of the decision desk. This podcast is designed for a very narrow demographic. Essentially, if you are someone who is a member of the Lincoln project you will like this. Trump supporters and most democrats will not. These people have lost touch with average everyday working class, middle class, and lower class Americans. Time to stop supporting them.

I loyally listened to this podcast every week since it began and loved it, everything about it. No more. Sorry, Chris, but calling states is not just math. I know people who were in line in Virginia when Fox called the state for Biden with 0% reporting. It’s disheartening. It’s about letting people vote. It’s unAmerican. It is not about Chris Stirewelt being cool with his math. So long.

The episode from Friday, 11/6 was powerful podcasting! I so appreciate this island of objectivity and partisan detachment that you guys provide. Both of you have a charm for this. You’re losing me
I used to enjoy your podcast. We like Dana, we like her on The Five and on her news hour, but It seems more and more evident that Chris is a member of the old establishment Republican club, or wants to be well received by them. Maybe not a total Never Trumper, but leaning in that direction and his polling bias is in line with the MSM. I just can’t bring myself to listen to him anymore. Also, Dana, per your recommendation on The Five, we checked out Ted Lasso. “Good clean fun,” I think you said. You really should have included a warning. This is not family entertainment, the language is filthy. Constant references to reproductive body parts, male and female. It may be “realistic” for that environment but it’s gross. Is approving of that kind of thing really so much better than believing the story of Jonah and the “great fish” in the Bible? Such a sad commentary on our “civilization.”

First - thank you for your consistently decent discussion of politics. I really like you two! Second, I'm in awe of Chris and his mensa-mind. I rarely know the answers to any of Mr. Bonewald's interesting quizzes but I got the "which Democratic president did this (long list of) states last vote for"... LBJ. It could not have been FDR because Alaska did not become a state until 1959. Listening to "I'll Tell You What" is both interesting, informative, AND fun! Thanks Dana and Chris!

Win without cheating! 🤷♂️
If Trump wins, how do we know it’s a true win? He got the states to change all their laws, he took over the postal service and now they have questionable complicity in an election cheating scandal that will even involve the 3rd pillar, the courts. The GOP complicated everything for what purpose? Other than to cheat with the postal service, to rig an election. It’s been done before, many times. The SCOTUS has 6 out of 9 from the Federalist Society. Isn’t THAT stacking the court??

Polling
You guys are great. Chris the lack of understanding of numbers really ruined election night work. You might have taken a statistics class in college but that lead you to focus on polling data as one of the major assumptions. That was wrong,so it skewed all of your work. Difference between a bookkeeper and a trader in an open outcry pit. I really like you as a person, really do. I’m sure that you have real number crunchers but they have never used data to benefit themselves. Sorry. Being employed by the media is not the thunderdome that hones ones skills.

Dana Perino continues to ride her career as a Bush communications spokesperson. I used to feel like Stirewalt was pretty balanced and I appreciated his analysis. As this election draws near, I feel he's showing bias against Trump. It's not attractive and I find it offputting that Dana never interjects or provides a different perspective. Not your every Political Podcast
My beautiful loving wife of 32 years is nowhere close to being a political junkie. Out of respect for her, I record the various night time TV political shows so she doesn’t have to endure the screaming, yelling and talking over each other of the various political pundits. She will enjoy The Five and greatly misses Bob and Eric. The chemistry on The Five is like being a guest at a friends Thanksgiving meal. On a trip to Florida in which we had 16 hours of being in a car together I downloaded several episodes and thought she was sleeping while I snuck in listening to an episode. She turned over at the end and asked do you have anymore episodes? I’ll tell you what.......I used my precious data package minutes and downloaded each episode. It was worth going over the Data Caps!! If you like cutting edge political punditry with hard hitting whit ....Go somewhere else. Listening to Dana and Chris is like catching up with a friend whom you have seen for years and when it is time to go your sad because you want to visit more. No other political show will tell you how to properly cook corn on the cob or make What did that Steer do to you” boiled beef brisket with jar of bbq sauce on it. LOL. Seriously, it is a political show that proves that politics isn’t the most important thing in the world. It treats the listener with respect and provides background information of what is politically hot at the moment. No ideology. No, I will tell you how to think on a topic. No allegiance to a party. We truly enjoy catching up every week with old friends! Update: Three years later.... One week prior to the 2020 election and this is my last episode. Dana will always be Dana! While being part of a Republican Administration for years, she has become the fairest and most honest Host that Fox News has. She should lead all political coverage. After Three years of listening , the reality is Chris is a Democrat partisan hack plain and simple. I have no problem with someone being a Democrat. I have a problem with people who pretend they are objective and are really aren’t. Funny, out of the entire show Republicans can do no right in any campaign. He blames Mark Meadows for Nancy Pelosi holding Americans hostage over Stimulus packages. She clearly stated she wouldn’t negotiate unless the Republicans had 2 Trillion earmarked for States run by Democrats who can’t fund their obligations retirement accounts of former state employees. When Chris leaves for MSNBC or CNN, I will be happy to give the show another chance. I guess I will just have to miss Chis’ whining about Sodastream carbonated water bubbles being too tiny. How whinny can you get!

Best way to make politics interesting
I started listening to this podcast as a fan of Dana’s (which originally started as being a fan of Jasper’s) but since the first episode I was hooked on how this show seems to present political information in an interesting and humorous way. To be perfectly honest I would have never signed up to listen to political podcast and never could’ve imagined myself looking forward to each weeks episode, however these two always deliver.Every week I find myself laughing hysterically at some sort of comedic antic and I also leave each weeks podcast having to look up a new word that Chris has used in his vocabulary. He might be the most intelligent human being I’ve ever listened to on air while also keeping me entertained with random facts about West Virginia, red meat food pleasures, and deliberations over the pronunciation of a raccoon. 2020: do not recommend The I’ll tell you what podcast: highly recommend!

An Oasis in a Desert of Spin!
I stumbled onto “I’ll Tell You What” by accident, but immediately became a loyal follower of this amazing podcast. To quote Jack Webb, it’s “just the facts ma’am”, but delivered in a way that is funny, informative, and entertaining. Dana & Chris deliver rapid-fire political insights and predictions that are completely devoid of spin. If you are a political junkie, or want to become one, this is the place to be. Redo review
As much as I loved this podcast it has just fallen off my list of things I can support. Chris has become a never Trumper to the extreme. Just so tiresome each episode. Gotta Unsubscribe and wish them all the best. As a proud southern gentlemen trying to follow the dignified existance shown to us by Mr Stirewalt I am still amazed at the sheltered life that our darling from Wyoming seems to have lived under. To think that there is such thing as a "Forbidden" list of foods is an insult to my sensibilities. To hear her utter shock at the thought of Susage Balls or some other such delicacy is podcasting at its finest. Yes there is a discussion of the politics of the day and it alone is worth the price of admission but the delightful banter between these two is like the feel of velvet for the soul. Keep up the great work you two. Your podcasts are best played at the kitchen table, where we all long for this kind of polite, humorous discussion complementing the biscuits, greens and fried chicken. (And yes I know Dana won't eat biscuits and right now Chris won't either because he is in his fat pants and is forgoing carbs.) And get some blue jeans Chris! Hugs and kisses from Milton in the great state of Georgia Ya'll. And one more thing, the honorable congressman Joe Wilson is from South Carolina and it is not the same thing Dana. We love South Carolina but we are Georgia and have given you the likes of Sam Nunn, Zell Miller, Martin Luther King, Jr and Sr., Ty Cobb, Bobby Jones, Laurence Fishburn, Gladys Knight, and Doc Holliday to enrich our great country. Yes, we did give you Jimmy Carter and for that we are sorry but you did vote for him so don't blame us.

Refreshing
It is so nice to have a political discussion without invective, an increasingly rare situation. Dana is very straightforward in her analysis, always polite, and down to earth. Her press secretary experience serves her well. Very practical. Chris seems to be a very even handed knowledgeable analyst. OK, he can be a bit snarky at times, but it is southern polite snarky, not Washington, D.C. mean snarky, a distinct benefit. Dana and Chis make a very good team, and it is nice to be able to participate in their conversation over coffee in the morning.

Hey Dana and Chris- I’ve listened to your podcast from the very beginning, before it had a name! I wondered if you would consider an episode explaining our government structure and election basics ( I’m thinking of all those remote schoolers and other students who are getting little to no civics lessons). Lean in, Dana
First, I’d like to say that I’ve been watching “The Five” since it’s premiere. I try to never miss an episode. Dana Perino is probably my favorite personality on cable news. Second, I’ve been listening to this podcast since before it had a name…and when it had a corresponding television show. Unfortunately, over the past 6 months or so it’s become a chore to get through. I do not listen to this podcast to hear Dana and Chris do Hannity or Ingraham impersonations. That said, I don’t listen to hear Chris do a Chris Wallace/Shep Smith impersonation either. What’s more troubling is that I can tell that Dana disagrees with much of what Chris is saying—but defers to him. This may be force of habit as she plays the role of anchor on “The Daily Briefing” and Chris is a commentator. As for Chris, I’m not sure what happened to him. His coverage has taken a far more anti- Tump bent recently. He refuses to accept that the race is tightening and makes snarky comments about all people of the right that aren’t milquetoast establishment republicans. The other day on Bret Baer’s podcast Chris spun like vintage Barry Sanders when Bret asked him to distinguish the media’s coverage of Obama/Biden’s handling of H1N1 (specifically Biden’s former chief of staff saying it was dumb luck it wasn’t a historically bad mass casualty event) and Chris “deftly” ignored H1N1 and pivoted to Ebola—completely ignoring Bret’s querry. Impressive spin moves from such a large man—but evident of bias. Chris appears to be morally troubled by Trump as he does not fit into his definition of what constitutes moral leadership and, as such, he shapes his commentary accordingly. In conclusion, Chris can say whatever he wants—it’s his show. But if Dana continues to accept Chris’ commentary as gospel, and not lean in, push back, and speak her mind, there will be no reason for me to continue downloading.

Let me tell you what...
Let me tell you how Dana and Chris infiltrated my subconscious and are the first thing i think about EVERY morning. It is weird, so buckle up. On one episode of Perino and Stirewalt: I’ll Tell You What, Dana and Chris were shooting the breeze, as they often do. The conversation turned into a discussion of how each of them reacts to their alarm clock in the morning. In typical Dana fashion, Ms. Perino exclaimed that the only reasonable response to an alarm clock is to immediately get out of bed. Do not press snooze. Do not pass go and do not collect $100. Chris, much like myself, is a mere mortal and is predisposed to pressing the snooze button. However, for the rest of the day I could not stop thinking about how Dana is capable of waking up immediately after the alarm goes off. I honestly could not believe that it is possible. Who does that? But, alas, this is Dana Perino we are talking about. Former Queen of the W. Administration. Of course she can do that! So, by the end of the day, I tell myself that the only reasonable way to respond to my alarm clock is to wake up on the first ring; do not press snooze. And BY GOLLY IT WORKED! Every morning since that pod episode I have woken up without hitting snooze. The one side effect is Dana and Chris are literally the first thing I think about EVERY morning. But hey, there are worse things! In short, this podcast is LIFE CHANGING and they aren’t even trying! big fan y’all! never change! Also, Chris, Every Man a King is on my coffee table. 🙌🏼

I’ll tell you what. I love this podcast. It’s one of the most honest and candid podcasts available. I’ve been a loyal listener from the inception. Chris, you’re a political geek, in a brilliant way. You’re crazy smart, relatable and darn right lovable. I’m still trying to perfect your thousand island dressing recipe. Dana, you’re such a genuine host with fantastic taste in sparkling water. I purchase Polar’s, Orange Vanilla Seltzer 100 cases at a time. I hoard them the same way people hoarded toilet paper during the pandemic. Also, the show Offspring was fantastic! I’m hoping “I’ll Tell You What” eventually returns to TV. It would be a great addition to the Fox lineup.

Was aI listening to Chris Stirewalt or Juan Williams?
Dana doesn’t get much time to talk and give her opinion. Chris goes on and on. Always thought Chris tried to remain politically neutral, but anymore he can’t give credit to Trump for anything. Yet regarding Biden and the democrats during the DNC convention, he goes very easy and spend most of his time talking about Trump in a condescending way. Wish he could try harder to be fair to both sides and maybe he could ask Dana her opinion on those subjects. When he’s done going on and on with his opinion, Dana just says “yep” or just goes right into the next question. I want to hear both opinions, not just Chris’. Just like Juan, he goes on and on trashing Trump and house republicans. One more week and I may have to unsubscribe.

Chris actually has good insight. Dana talks about herself and her dog, offers little actual analysis, and is clearly not “fair and balanced.” She also talks over Chris A LOT.

I love this podcast! Yours and the Commentary magazine’s have been so insightful for helping affirm my commitment to conservatism despite the shortcomings of our current leadership 😬. I live on Capitol Hill, so I love all the shout-outs to the neighborhood. I saw you on the street one night, Chris, and I was so excited but my chatty husband took over the conversation! I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the thoughtful commentary, how you share your faith, and how kind you both seem to be “in real life.” I also love that there is a healthy balance between politics and food! I could talk about it all day. All the best to both of you, and thanks for the podcast!!

Boring Biden
The time spent talking about Dr. Jill Biden (whatever) was way too long and very uninteresting. Couple with Chris’s fawning over dopey Uncle Joe just makes one want to gag. Get back to conservative political topics for which your podcast was known.

I'm Unsubscribing
I've listened to this show for several years and truly enjoy listening to Dana Perino. I cannot say the same for Chris Stirewalt. He frequently interrupts his train of thought - sometimes multiple times - to the point that he's often confusing to listen to. His obvious Never Trump-like positions have become untenable for me and his naivete on mail-in voting is maddening. Sadly, I must make the choice to unsubscribe. While I'm not a fan of the "cancel culture" we are currently enduring, this act of cancellation is being made because I simply can't take it anymore.

Chris Stirewalt is everything!!
I’ve been listening to this podcast since college, and it’s always been one of my favorite ways to keep up with the political scene. Chris’ brain is just the best — I love listening to his perspective on what’s happening in Washington and his wealth of historical knowledge . Overall their dynamic is really great and I think they offer an objective take on politics without inserting their opinions, which is rare to find!! They talk about the good and the bad on both sides of the aisle. My only qualm would be how often Dana interrupts Chris! She always has great questions for him though, and I appreciate her take and experience. But yeah, maybe let Chris finish more thoughts haha.

Podcasting for the Masses
Love the show, have listened since it was unnamed. I feel I get a more balanced view of things political, and the random tangents are too fun! Dogs, Foodie, Politics, Morality - good stuff! My only criticism is the interrupting and talking over Chris. I admit, it’s a personal pet peeve; however, there have been times Chris is making a point and Dana talks over or changes direction. I’ve tried, but I’m done
I’ve listened from the very beginning of the podcast but I think the latest episode may be my last. After one of the most tumultuous weeks in recent memory, Dana leads with clutching her pearls over Obama “addressing the nation” while the episode contained nothing but a passing mention of Trump’s church stunt. Newsflash: this nation is completely devoid of presidential leadership at this point. That’s not the rantings of a partisan...this country is in turmoil and we are desperate for someone to lead and comfort us. If former leaders like Obama and Bush are trying to step into that void to guide us through this very difficult time, so be it. Watching Dana become more and more brainwashed in support of Trump has been disheartening. Stirewalt tries to very politely wake her up from time to time, but I’m not sure she’s really hearing him. I used to admire your ability to have nuanced discussions with some balance, but that ship has sailed. Sad!

Requesting more balance
I’m probably not your typical listener- I’m a 40 year old African-American female in Georgia. Admittedly a Democrat, but to hear the first thing that Perino leads with is that Obama will address the nation and her outrage at this and Obama’s audacity is ridiculous. This news cycle is producing so much news we can hardly keep up and phrasing is the thing you decide to open with? I listen to this to hear the perspective of Stirewalt and have silently lamented about how (in my opinion) Perino tends to gloss over his points that don’t particularly line up to the party line and dismiss counterpoints with a ok or grunt. She is never ugly about but the tendency dilutes his point. I try to remain open to Perino’s point of view, but find them hard to connect to. It would be great is both hosts gave it to you from an objective opinion instead of having to wish for a podcast that was hosted solely by Stirewalt. The banter about the non-political topics is lovely, but to me it is secondary when you have listeners like myself who tune in for the “dissection and debate” that was promised.

Cookie cutter choices
I love this podcast, but feel like your reality is skewed by your location. There are reasons for states to make individual choices on shutdowns. Why are you guys advocating cookie cutter mask choices? There may be a greater need in NY than TN. I hope that this won’t be the new response to each flu season etc. The virus facts have changed for many states from the beginning, but much of the paranoia is trying to be kept in all states, not those greatly affected.

Used to like it
I used to listen all the time and always thought they gave unbiased opinions. Now I am unsubscribing. Chris is very smart but he has to make sure he uses big words all the time. He also says yeah yeah yeah so much that it gets very annoying. The main reason that I am leaving a bad review is because it is so obvious that Chris is anti Trump. I can listen to ANY of the mainstream media and hear the constant negatives about Trump (without context) I don’t need to hear it from someone I tuned into to have unbiased conversations. I will not return.

Truthful analysis
I listened to the podcast periodically but since the pandemic I have listened every week. I’m a huge fan of Dana from The Five. I follow her on social media and read all articles she recommends. My mom was raised in West Virginia and I went there many times to visit family during my childhood. So I like hearing his West Virginia stories. I also just recently subscribed to Halftime report. A weekly dose of civility
Refreshingly sincere and warm banter between longtime friends. Moderate conservatives will rejoice at the chemistry between Dana and Chris, and reminisce fondly with both over the good old days of less partisan (and less dysfunctional) politics. Chris is courageous for voicing a clear-eyed, detached view of Trump, and Dana is always respectful in being receptive to his arguments. But the show is not so much a commentary on politics as it is a meditation on the human condition in America—and a weekly demonstration of how to practice civility through humility.

Only been listen for a few months as I hadn’t gotten into podcasts before that, but y’all’s was one of my firsts. Always enjoy and about the only one I am “up-to-date” with. Question for Chris. Always my first choice
I just love Chris and Dana! Dana is America’s sweetheart and Chris makes me laugh. When they come together that’s when the magic happens. Unscripted, over the back fence chit-chat with two conservative political insiders as they share bits and pieces of their day’s work. I wasn’t initially receptive to the rerun episodes but really have enjoyed re-hearing what we were thinking about years ago. I noticed that they are shorter and seem to be on a faster speed. Getting used to the new music...not necessarily what I would have chosen.

Enjoy, but not always
I love listening to this podcast and look forward to it every week, but I have to say it is getting difficult to listen when Chris starts ranting about the ignorance of Trump supporters. I am a college-educated woman who moved from a small town in Southern Illinois after a divorce to find better opportunities for my children in Chicago area. I voted Democrat my entire voting life until George Bush’s second election. By then I had seen the true consequences of the Democrat’s policies and what an utter failure they were. I’m really tired of hearing Chris (whom I enjoy when he is talking about family and food) labeling Trump supporters in such a negative way. You are talking about me. I am not racist or ignorant. I see Trump’s flaws as I see my own. I would appreciate it if you would stop your labeling of those you do not know. Thank you.

Used to be interesting political content. Now it has morphed into sounding like two old ladies talking over the backyard fence. They talk politics maybe 10-15 minutes on a 60 minute show. The rest is food, recipes, pet stories and seemingly anything else other than what I tuned in for.

Constantly Delightful
Few places provide enlightenment and delight during these challenging days, but my retreat to Dana and Chris’ podcasts bring such! Chris gives insight to the political arena without partisan leanings and his chuckle makes it a fun learning experience. Dana’s reading list is fascinating and she should make a bibliography of all that she reads since it’s balanced and thought provoking. I’m a fan - Bev from Texas
I have been listening to this podcast for the last 3 months or so and love the banter and listen mainly for the politics. since Chris is so obviously not a fan of Trump I tend to disagree with his takes on Trump as they are more opinion based. I think Dana’s instincts are amazing. One thing I have found a bit bothersome the last few weeks is talking about what Perino and Stirewalt are doing during lockdown and it is filled with books, puzzles and Netflix series. While they talk about the numbers of people unemployed they talk about them as numbers and not people. They also are not talking about how this lockdown is affecting people, is just plain wrong and unconstitutional. Last week Stirewalt said he was really mad that the Covid models were being criticized. Are you kidding me? I’ll tell you what, They should be lambasted, the modelers told us that they were confident that millions would die. It is their fault the country and world was shut down. And so many either want to keep it shut down or have no issue with delaying opening and doing it again in the fall when the modelers tell us “it’s going to be worse”. They have been wrong throughout, though perhaps we should “wait two more weeks” because maybe they will be accurate then. They won’t be, they only thing that changes is the goalpost. You both have a great knowledge and love of history. When people read about this pandemic in the history books I think they will read how We The People opened the country and never let it be shut down again. I realize this won’t be read on the show but I do hope that both Dana and Chris see this note, I’m certain I am not the only listener that feels like this.

I love this podcast as long as Chris stays away from Trump bashing. When Chris comments on Trump I feel like I’m reading a fiction book. Case in point: Chris talks the Mueller report. “The Mueller report would have been much more devastating to Trump except it was released in drubs and drabs”. What? We all heard the testimony . Mueller was a disaster, he had nothing! Chris, I get it, you hate Trump. Is that why FOX held the election results for two hours? Until the crying stopped?

ridiculous. Why even put this out
I subscribed to this because I like Dana but they literally post episodes that are a year old. You don’t even realize it until they get past the happy talk and just talk about current events and then you realize they’re going on about things that happened last year. In this one, they start talking about Boris Johnson wanting to lead the Tories. I don’t even understand why they bother to release these unless it’s just to pick up scraps from advertising with whatever audio happens to be laying around the studio.

Trying to get a balanced take
I’m an avid podcast listener and a fairly progressive democrat. I was trying to get a balanced news diet by incorporating a source from Fox in order to understand political arguments from a different point of view. I listened to several Fox podcasts but just couldn’t connect or make sense of what always seemed to be incomplete facts presented and couldn’t understand how the arguments could hold water with people. This is the first podcast where I actually liked the hosts and, although I don’t agree with most of their views, they both make sense in explaining how they arrive at their conclusions or view points. I appreciate the helpful context and have learned (a fun, surprising, and unintended side effect) quite a bit about food and a dog named Jasper. After months or maybe more I find myself really not enjoying this podcast anymore because it seems very fake to the hosts’ personalities to not speak about the president in a truthful manner. They shift the conversation to cover everything possible to avoid speaking about the current administration and specifically the president. I believe it’s because they don’t have anything nice to say and therefore they have to keep quiet. I may be wrong but that’s the impression that is given by constantly avoiding to pick up the topic. The final straw has been the complete avoidance of discussing in detail anything to do with this administration’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I enjoy their banter and their opinions but at this point I get absolutely no point of view from them of current events except to criticize the democrats. I don’t mind the criticism and even enjoy the clarity of it but I listen for some view point on republicans as well and there is minimal to none now. Now they’re doing replays of old episodes? What? Sigh - not ready to give up on them yet but hope that they go back to giving a take (any honest take!) on what republicans are doing.

Still very informative and sensible but my goodness, so much personal talk about topics we’ve heard entire. Stick to the news as much as possible not peloton or fancy trips/dinners. Thanks

Review
This podcast is terrible. They never read their reviews! On the other hand, this gives me insight into the current political climate, and I love the amount of compassion the hosts show. I’m also a big reader, and I appreciate the book recommendations that have been added to my want to read list.

Improvement Suggestion
I like the show but too much time spent talking about personal subjects and not enough about politics.

Politics with a positive spin
Positive show with wonderful insights from both hosts. Right leaning with fair commentary on pertinent issues in politics. One of my top five podcast listens. Adds sincere joy to an otherwise grim political scene without being just silly obnoxious entertainment. Very substantive and good depth in both heart and soul.

One year later
I’ve been waiting over a year to write this review because I’ve been hearing Dana say “We’ll get to your reviews next week” since I started listening over a year ago. However after this weeks announcement that they are doing a review show next week, I’m going take my chances. This is seriously my favorite podcast. I’m a political junkie myself and while I listen to a handful of other political podcasts, “I’ll tell you What” will always be my favorite and I recommend it all the time to my friends and family. I live in a rural town in the interior of Alaska called Delta Junction. I drive to Fairbanks (2 hours) or Anchorage (6 hours) at least once a week and I will not start my drive until I have “I’ll Tell You What” downloaded. Thank you for your insightful political commentary and day to day conversations about your lives each week. Trivia question for Chris: Who were the only 2 Alaska politicians who have tried to become President or Vice President since Alaska became a state in 1959?

I wait for this!
I look for a surprise podcast from y’all every day! It’s like looking for the sun in Seattle.... why do it? Then again, anything’s possible. I could listen you y’all talk about anything, every day, all day. You’re both so interesting, so fun, so kind and informative. This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE PODCAST!! It would be a dream come true to have dinner with you two or to watch a live recording of your podcast! My ONLY gripe.... I can’t find show your notes! I love the article and book references but I’m usually in the car when I listen and can’t write everything down. Can you please post of a list of the articles, books, music, etc., you talk about?

2020-03-01 update to my review: Every week, I get to listen to my friends update me on their lives, give us wonderful analysis of the goings on in the world, and remind me that in the big scheme of things, this ain’t all that bad. Love the show, the personalities, the inside jokes, and look forward to walking my 2 Labs every Thursday morning! Thank you! Fantastic show. Love the commentary and insight. Regardless of what side you fall on, this podcast is for you.

Keep doing what you’re doing, maybe just a little longer
I look forward to listening every Thursday while I’m working and trying to ignore the people around me. I know you’re going to talk politics and that’s great and all, but the best parts are when you’re talking about food, cats and other random things.

PLEASE READ
One of the best political shows out there (among The Five, Bongino, and Shapiro). Chris Stirewalt is one of the most politically smart people you will ever hear (literally) and Dana brings her unique humor and nice personality to the show. BTW, here’s another podcast suggestion: American Elections: Wicked Game. It chronicles each and every election leading up to 2020. Thanks you guys for all that you do. Keep up the amazing work! READ

“I’ll Tell You What” is the only political podcast I listen to. There is no overt bias which is SO refreshing these days. Chris and Dana are great together. I love Trivia and miss Book Club. Keep the episodes coming!!

Great For Political Junkies
I had been watching both Dana and Chris on the Fox News Channel for years but didn’t know they had a podcast until recently. They provide a great perspective on current political topics. I’ve also been enjoying the trivia, but some of those questions sure are tough!

Interrupting & Eating While Talking
I usually enjoy the Podcast; find the interaction between Dana & Chris fun, except when Chris does seriously overt Dana worship. Both have excellent insight that I appreciate. February 19th’s Pod was less satisfying listening to Dana talk while eating; at least she didn’t interrupt Chis as much as other times.

These two together are genius. Dana lines it out and has an innate knack for doing so. And he comes in and hits the home run. Daily listener from here on out.
